Two days from now will be the day that Emma has dreamed about for a while now. She was finally gonna get her happy ending and marry her prince charming, so why wasn't she excited. A better question is why she can't get a certain brunette out of her head. Regina was her best friend and she was marrying Hook so she shouldn't even be thinking about her straight friend in that way but here she was thinking about Regina at her own bachelorette party. She spots Regina and Snow talking and she sighs and takes a swig of her drink.

"Get it together Swan," Emma whispers to herself. "You can't have feelings for Regina."

Regina catches Emma staring at her and smiles. Emma blushes, smiles, and waves before turning away quickly. Regina watches Emma for a moment longer before turning back to Snow. Snow is going on and on about how happy she is that Emma has finally found her happy ending and Regina can't help but feel a pang in her heart. She wants nothing more than to escape this wretched conversation and poof home so she can cry in her bedroom as she has been doing for the past few nights. Regina knows that she should be happy for her friend but part of her can't help but think about being with Emma instead of that pirate. How crazy was she for thinking that she, the Evil Queen, could ever be with the Savior?

She scoffs and Snow looks at her confused, "Di-did I say something wrong?"

Regina shakes her head. "No I was just thinking about something," Regina says quickly. "If you'll excuse me."

Regina walks away before Snow can offer any objections and heads to get another drink. She orders another glass of wine and then sits next to Emma. They smile at each other and then sit in silence for a few minutes.

"You look beautiful tonight Regina." Emma blurts out.

Regina blushes a little and clears her throat. "Thank you Emma and you don't look so bad yourself."

Emma chuckles and thanks Regina. Before Emma could say anything else Ruby and Belle rush over to the bar.

"Hey Emma, come dance with us!" Ruby says, draping her arms around Emma.

Regina resists the urge to snap at the other brunettes and turns to finish her glass of wine. Emma smiled apologetically before getting dragged away by her friends. Regina watches Emma dance with her friends and smiles.

"She's so beautiful." Regina thinks to herself as she watches her laugh and dance with Ruby and Belle. Once she realizes she's staring she quickly turns around and gets another drink. "Get over yourself Regina," she says to herself. "She's getting married in two days." Regina sighs and swirls her drink around in the glass.

The music changes to a slow song, Ruby and Belle start slow dancing, and Emma looks around awkwardly. She spots Regina sitting at the bar and decides to ask her to dance. Emma walks over to Regina and taps her shoulder.

"Care to dance Madam Mayor." Emma says, holding out her hand.

Regina smiles and takes Emma's hand. Emma leads Regina to the dance floor and then gently places her hands on Regina's hips.

"You look beautiful tonight." Emma says.

Regina chuckles and looks down.

"So you've said before Sheriff." Regina says.

Emma chuckles, "Yeah I know but you look really beautiful tonight."

Regina blushes and thanks her. They dance in silence before Emma speaks again.

"I know this might sound crazy but bare with me," Emma says, causing Regina to look at her confused. "Do you ever wonder what it would be like if we ended up together?"

"Emma…" Regina says quietly.

"Yeah I know, crazy right," Emma says chuckling to herself. "I'm sorry, I never should've asked. I know that you're not into me that way but-"

"Emma…" Regina says a little louder, trying to get Emma's attention.

Emma doesn't hear her and keeps rambling on about how she's thought about them being together before. Regina feels her knees get weaker and feels like she might faint if Emma doesn't stop talking, so she does the only thing she could think of. Regine leans forward and kisses her. She feels Emma stiffen a little bit before kissing her back. They pull away after a few moments and Regina looks at her shocked.

"I can't believe I just did that." Regina says quietly.

The song ends and Regina quickly moves away from Emma.

"Regina, wait," Emma calls out. "Can we talk about this please."

"There's nothing to talk about Emma," Regina says sadly. "This can't happen. You're about to marry Hook and I shouldn't have done that."

"But Regina." Emma starts looking at Regina, pleading her to stay and talk.

Tears start to form in Regina's eyes and she poofs home before she could hear the rest of Emma's sentence.

"I love you." Emma says quietly to the disappearing smoke.
