Regina has spent the last two days avoiding the blonde like the plague. She spent more time locked away in the mansion. Henry was spending the weekend at the Charming's apartment to help look after Neal so she didn't have to worry about hiding her tear-stained face for the past two days or the fact the she walked around the house wearing pajamas all day. Regina is sitting on the couch watching some sappy romcom, that she will never admit to actually liking, when she hears a knock at her door and sighs cause she already knows who's there. Emma has been trying to talk to Regina for the past two days, showing up to the mayor's doorstep and practically begging the older woman to talk to her.

"Regina?" Emma says through the door. "Can we please talk? I just- everything is just-" Emma pauses and tries to think of what to say. "Well it's complicated and I don't know what to do." She sighs and runs her hands through her hair. "You're my best friend and literally the only person I can talk to about this so can we please talk?" Emma waits for a few minutes and sighs once again when she gets no reply. "I'll see you later I guess." Emma says before walking away.

Regina sits frozen in place as she listens to Emma speak. Tears form in her eyes when she hears how desperate she sounds and Regina wants nothing more than to rush over and wrap her arms around the blonde and reassure her that everything will be okay but she can't seem to move. When she remembers what's happening later her face pales and she feels her heart break on two. As much as she wants to skip the wedding and stay home she knows that it would only raise more questions and worry her son.

She tries to prolong it for as much as she can and gets up about an hour before she's supposed to meet everyone and starts to get ready. She showers and puts on her makeup before picking out her outfit and fixing her hair. Once she's finished she looks at herself in the mirror.

"I wonder if Emma will like this outfit?" Regina thinks to herself. "She did always seem to look at her just a bit more when she was wearing pencil skirts." Regina turns and inspects her outfit again before stopping herself.

"Regina get ahold of yourself. You going to Emma's wedding, you're not trying to seduce her on her big day." Regina huffs and grabs her bag and keys before heading to town square.

When she reaches the venue she's greeted by her son and his girlfriend.

"Hey mom," Henry says when he sees her. "You look great."

"Thank you sweetie and you and Violet you very nice."

They both smile and thank Regina.

"It was grandma's idea to wear them." Henry says rolling his eyes playfully.

Regina chuckles. "Well you both look great," She fixes Henry's collar. "I'll see you both inside."

Regina heads inside and then hesitates. She's supposed to head to the back to help Emma get ready but she doesn't think she can sit there and pretend to be okay with the fact that the woman she loves is about to get married to another person.

"I need to get over this nonsense," Regina says quietly to herself going to Emma's dressing room. "You knew from the start there was no way you could end up with Emma."

When she reaches the door she hears Snow cooing over Emma and squares her shoulders before knocking on the door.

"Come in." Emma calls from the other side.

Regina walks in and smiles at the women in the room.

"Regina you're here," Emma says looking at the older woman. "And you look gorgeous."

Regina blushes and tries to play it off. "I should be saying that to you Emma."

"She does look really pretty doesn't she Regina." Snow says trying to keep the tears at bay.

Regina smiles and nods. She helps Snow finish getting Emma ready and can't help but wish that Emma was getting ready for their wedding instead. Once they finish they all stare at Emma in awe. Emma stands up and faces Snow and Regina.

"What do you think?" Emma says looking directly at Regina, letting her that she really wanted her opinion.

"You look perfect," Snow says as tears fall down her face. "Hook is gonna love it."

"Uh thanks mom," Emma says uncomfortably. "Speaking of Hook do you mind checking on him and seeing how things are going?" She says trying to get Snow to leave her and Regina alone.

"Of course." Snow says happily.

She leaves the room and Emma sighs in relief.

"Ok now how do I really look?" Emma says looking at Regina.

"You're a gorgeous bride Emma."

Emma blushes and looks away. "If only I was your bride." she's says under her breath.

"Emma," Regina says exasperatedly. "Please don't say things like that."

Emma looks at her surprised that she heard her.

"Why not?"

"Because you're with Hook. He's your happy ending."

"What if I don't want him to be?" Emma yells defeatedly. "What if I want you to be?"

"You don't mean that Emma. You're just getting cold feet."

Emma runs her fingers through her hair and sighs.

"I tried to tell you that I loved you two days ago Regina. I've been trying to talk to you and tell you that I've loved you for YEARS now but I didn't think you felt the same way until you kissed me."

"Emma." Regina says unable to stop the tears that are rolling down her face.

Emma walks over to her and wipes the tears off Regina's face.

"Regina I love you and I want be with you. You can't tell me that you don't feel something too."

"Emma I-"

Snow knocks on the door and the two women jump apart. She walks in and smiles brightly at Emma.

"It's times honey." Snow says.
