One must take notes not to be a deserter, especially when breaking the rules and code of conduct.

Unfortunately, they meet their unfortunate fate after returning home, before returning to where they belong.

Angelise 'Ange' Ikaruga Misurugi and Hildegard 'Hilda' Schlievogt are in detention for a week for not only violating the rules, but for leaving Arzenal without their permission, and shouldn't have gone back to mana's land.

Ange's words: "Sylvia!" "Hey, Hilda, I hope you reunite with your mother."

Hilda's words: "Mama!" "Hey, Ange, I hope you find your sister."

But in truth, they did, but with an unfortunate ending to their hearts.

Arzenal

How long has she been sleeping in the cell?

It's unknown.

Has it been hours? Days? Weeks? Who knows.

"Hey, Ange." Hilda groaned.

"What is it?" Ange weakly replied.

"How long has it been? Because you stink."

"Huh?" Ange then takes a sniff at herself and it turns out that Hilda is right. "Oh yeah. Maybe you should say the same thing about yourself."

"What did you say!? I'll have you know that I-... Urgh… You're right…" Groaning out of disgust, Hilda realises that not only Ange hadn't showered, but she herself also had that odour smell.

Afterwards, Hilda sits up as she watches Ange relaxing on an uncomfortable bed.

"I'm impressed that you're used to this lifestyle in under a week."

"What do you expect? I just need to accept what's in front of me and stop acting all wishy-washy as a former princess."

"Heh. You took the words right out of my mouth." Hilda chuckles after Ange admits her acceptance.

With the duo feeling something through each other's minds, Ange then sits up like Hilda did, only to remember how horrid humans are.

"Beaten and replaced, huh? Your life must've sucked." Said Ange.

"Same goes for you! Those pigs! Trying to execute you after humiliating you! What the hell are they thinking!?" Hilda growled.

Understandably, both Ange and Hilda had their anger fueled up as they're thinking about abandoning their former homes.

Afterwards, a box landed on Ange through the cell bars outside, leading Ange to remember what she bought earlier.

"Tusk…" Ange whispered as she could tell who sent the box into the cell.

Picking up a box, Ange can obviously tell by the colour and the scent of this box, leading her to clear her throat.

"Hilda."

"What is it?" Hilda replied nonchalantly.

"Here." Ange then held out a box as she's trying to be nicer to the one who used to hate her in the past.

To Hilda's surprise, Ange had bought a souvenir despite not bringing one directly to the cell.

"For me?"

"Yeah. I… I don't know your birthday, so I thought maybe I could give you a present. Not that I want to." Ange sighed as she's being honest to her.

"Really? Well ain't you generous. I bet it's something goo- !?"

As Hilda abruptly witnessed what's inside the present, she gasped as memories were flashing into her. Something that had Hilda tearing up as she can feel her heart beating.

Apple pie.

"Ange… You…"

"I mean it's not much, but I thought I could say happy birthday." Ange rubs her head as she's not making eye contact.

And she did.

Ange witnessed tears running down on Hilda as well as her hiccups, leading Ange to be conflicted with either positive or negative feelings.

"Hilda?"

Before Ange reaches her arm, Hilda leaps from her bed as she squeezes Ange by her waist.

"THANK YOU, ANGE!"

"H- Hey! That hurts!" Ange exclaimed.

"Those apple pies… Mama… Why… WHY!? WAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Wailing as Hilda's heart is both warm and broken, causing her to be thankful of Ange, but was saddened by the abandonment she received.

"That means… I see." Now Ange finally understands Hilda's reason, just like how Hilda understands Ange's.

Finally, Ange embraced Hilda out of comfort and sang out her mother's song to calm the atmosphere down.

A song her mother used to sing to her.

A few hours later.

Waking up from her slumber, Hilda can feel her eyes tingling after yesterday's mix of joy and sadness.

Until she sees a few pieces being eaten as the third one is currently being held by none other than Ange herself.

"OI! Save some for me!" Hilda shouted as she witnessed her present being hogged by her 'friend.'

"Well, you win some, you lose some so… Why not?" Ange is still level-headed while chewing some pies for herself.

Afterwards, Hilda then sits down on the floor and yanks a couple of pieces while shoving one on her mouth.

"Ahaha. You look stupid eating like that. Even an animal had more manners than you." Ange laughed.

As Hilda's face went tomato red, she then yelled out, "S- Shut up, you wannabe princess!"

In the end, the duo are enjoying an apple pie together as they laugh together.

Then Hilda went closer as Ange blushed a little.

"Eh?"

"Hey, Ange. Um… Do you like me?" Hilda asked while looking embarrassed.

"Like you? Well, I don't hate you, despite being an annoying selfish bitch you are, I guess I kinda like you." Ange answered as she's finally honest with herself. "Why do you ask?"

Hilda then jumps back after Ange's question, leading her to fluster over Ange.

"Ah! Nothing! Ahem! Anyway, now what?" Hilda asked as her tone turned serious.

"Once we get out, we'll destroy this world." Ange answers with a smirk as she desires revenge.

"Together?" Hilda reaches her arm as she too pulls a smug smile.

"Together."

As both hands are touching each other, Ange and Hilda will have their revenge.

In the end, they will make sure that the normas are free and the humans will be punished.
