Chapter Twenty Three:
"And The Delinquent World Keeps On Turning"

Ron thought he was going to die once more, but nonetheless, after composing himself once more, he went down from the rooftop in search of a particular redhead. The urgent tone her subordinate used didn't sit well with him as thoughts of impending danger started to rush to his mind. "She said it was terrible..." He muttered while bounding down the stairs. When he reached the second floor and turned a sharp left, he was surprised to see three girls, all clad in their Go Academy uniform, all wearing a massive grin on their faces.

"Oh dear, it is terrible." He let out a sigh. The biggest of the three laughed out loud and shouted "Hahaaaah! Infiltration successful, lemme tell ya!" Meanwhile, her smaller twin glared at her and whispered harshly "Shhh! We can't let them see us today, y'know." Tara nodded her head at that and added "Bonnie sure would be angry if we screwed up."

Before Tara could survey the hallway, Ron took the chance and hid behind the staircase. "But, infiltrating's exciting. I like this 'Mission Impossible' kinda stuff... Dun, dun, dun, du-du-dun~ Dun, dun, dun, du-du-dun~" She hummed the famous intro scene of the movie as she crouches slightly and looked for any people around. Jennie let out a giggle at that while Emmie lightly warned "Don't get too excited, Tara. This mission's gonna affect the future of Food Chain, lemme tell ya."

Tara shakes her hand in dismissal and replied "S'all good, s'all good. I know what this means to Food Chain. All we gotta do is just take Stoppable, and use him as a bargaining chip against Possible." The blue-haired petite girl smirked and said "He just pissed her off last time, but Stoppable's a good card for negotiating."

In that time, Ron let out a cold sweat from the revelation. "I see. So you came to kidnap me." When three heads nod in affirmation, he started turning away from them and said "Okay, I'm going to run away, then."

"Right'o, take care now!" Emmie hollered while her smaller sister giggled "We're pretty fast, so you should hide, y'know?" With that, the boy didn't speak anything else as he started sprinting across the hallway and went back upstairs towards the rooftop. He didn't dare to look back, fearing that by doing so would result to his own demise. Once he reached his destination, he quickly shut the door and went behind the large water tank from the far end. "I'll hide and tell Kim... Let's see, where's my phone?"

Unfortunately for him, before he could reach to his pocket, he felt a hand grasp his shoulder. "Okay, stooop." a girlish giggle emanated behind him. When he turned around, he saw the grinning visage of the beautiful platinum blonde girl, signifying that he had been caught. "You know you can't do that. Do you know it's common courtesy to wait until we started counting to three? It's against the rules to start off running like that." She let out a fake pout.

Not quite sure about how to answer, Ron remained quiet. A few seconds after, the door he closed a while ago was banged open, revealing the other two perpetrators. "Nice work, Tara. You're really good at climbing those walls and windows." Emmie commented.

As the twins approach him, the freckled teen spoke "Uh, so... You're Tara, Emmie and Jennie, correct?" Three sets of eyes widened as they appreciated the fact that he knew who they were. "Got that right! Good that you know us! I'm Emmie Gold, Food Chain's strongest, and Bonnie's confidante! Nice to meet'ya!" Ron nodded back at her and added "Pleasure. Also, I believe you're also known as... Go Academy's Rampaging Ogress, right?"

Emmie's smile faltered at that and said "Can't say I like that moniker too much. Ya can't just call a maiden an ogress, lemme tell ya."

Meanwhile, Tara let out another of her flirtatious smile and went next on the introduction "And I'm Tara! The fastest runner in all of Go Academy, Tara King!" Ron nodded his head at that and reacted "I know. You're really fast at running away, right?"

With an eager appreciative nod, the platinum blonde delinquent boasted "Heheheeeh. I'm confident that I could even outrun Kim Possible if I got serious!"

Looking at how proud the girl is with her skill, Ron let out a small smile and nod at her before asking "Nice. Do you have a title or something?" Tara's smile faltered at that as she went to her thinking pose and muttered "Huh?... Uh, guess I don't." She rubbed her chin with her finger for a moment, looking for a title that she could use as her own, until an idea flashed from her mind. With hammering her fist to her palm, she exclaimed "Oh, I liked being called 'Kitty' since it works both as my inverted initials and my favorite animal!"

Ron stared at her with a sweat drop before replying "Oh, okay. That's not a title, though. Nice to meet you, Tara." Said girl pouted cutely at him and insisted "Come on, you can call me 'Kitty'." to which the freckled teen shook his head and reiterated "Tara."

Unsurprisingly, the platinum blonde delinquent deflated a bit. Meanwhile, the smallest of the three suddenly barged in front of him when they fell into silence and loudly exclaimed "And I'm Rose! The strongest in all of Food-" But before she could finish the sentence, Ron has already placed his palm on top of her head and started patting it "Long time, no see, Jennie." Naturally, the girl didn't liked his action, and so she let out a glare. The only problem is that since she's also blushing, her visage looked less menacing than she wanted to and more like a flustered baby in the middle of her tantrum. "Gh, d-don't pet mee!"

"Why do I feel like you're more caring and attentive to her than to us?" Tara pouted at that, making the blonde boy to shrug his shoulders.

Emmie went near him and grinned "Anyway! Food chain's the strongest in all of Middleton, and we've got three of the Four Generals here. Ya better be prepared, Ron!" And before he could react, her big and sturdy hands went to his shoulders, stopping him from running. Tara, meanwhile, pulled up her phone from her pocket and pressed call on their leader's number. It rang for a few moments before she answered the call. "Oh, B? We've finally found Ron Stoppable... Yes, yes, he's on the rooftop."

While she's busy relaying the information about their successful entrapment of their target, Emmie let out a sigh "Phew, never woulda guessed it'd be this easy. This is a good omen for the newly revived Food Chain, eh!" Said boy just looked at them and realized that none of them have an ounce of disguise on their person. "You've really done quite well with your infiltration."

"Actually we snuck in while classes were going on, and we were hiding until just now." Jennie explained lightly while her bigger twin sister continued "And we started moving once ya stepped outta your classroom on your own. Intellectual, innit?"

The question made the giantess bellow in laughter before wagging her finger "Can't give that one away. Our information network's amazing, that's all I'm gonna say, you know?" The piece of information made the blonde boy a bit uneasy, thinking that there are many moles around Middleton, even on the very school the Bloody Fox is in. That shows how deep the Rockwaller connection is all over. He mildly shook his hands from the rope that was now tied in front of him.

"No point in struggling. We'll take ya by force if we have to, lemme tell ya!" Emmie smirked at him, while her smaller twing grinned and added "Hehehehe, freak out more!"

Instead of a shivering boy, all Jennie got is a tied hand petting the crown of her head. "I'm sooooo scared..." Ron cooed with a satisfied smile. The small bluenette blushed from the contact and tried to get the hand off of her head, but was unable to. "But how are you going to do it? You are able to get in because classes were going on, but there are a lot of people around right now because it's lunch break. I don't think it'll be possible to get outside with me in tow."

Both twins' eyes widened in realization that currently, most students are outside of their rooms for their break. "The rooftop's the farthest point from the entrance!" Jennie wailed as she placed her hands on top of her scalp and grabbed her hair.

"Please calm down. All we need to do is wait until classes start again." The platinum blonde waved her hand and offered a resolution. And in an instant, the twins calmed down. The freckled teen silently clicked his tongue, clearly underestimating the third Food Chain general's intelligence. But that doesn't mean they are still in the clear. Because before they could look for any place they can hide, the door was opened and a familiar redhead appeared.

Meanwhile, Kim's eyes are with Joss first while she spoke. "Break's ending soon, so you all search for those Food Chain folks. You say they've snuck in, but that Emmie should be easy to see with her size." Joss, who is standing on the stairs below nodded affirmatively before dashing down. "I've wasted a lot of time Ronnn, so let's hug some more..." Her muttering grinded to a halt when her emerald orbs met the very nuisance that kept her away from her newfound happy pill.

Three mouths were wide open as irritation quickly covered the Bloody Fox's face. "... It's just one thing after another. If you wanna fight, then pick a time and place, and occasion first!"

"Dammit, looks like peaceful negotiations are a no-go, Bonnie." Emmie muttered as she curled the sleeves of her blouse, meanwhile, Tara's eyes are already darting all around while muttering "We're on the rooftop... There's only one exit, so it's gonna be hard to escape."

The notorious Middleton High delinquent cracked her knuckles, glaring at the reasons why her cuddle moment with her boyfriend got cut off. "Nghaahhh! You have crazy intense eyes! Figures that small fry can't do jack against you. But that's not gonna work for me!" The giantess grinned as she crounched slightly, readying her body to ram herself to the redhead. "Keep your eyes on the prize and blow her away! Keep your eyes on the prize and blow her away! Keep your eyes on the prize and blow her away!" She mentally chanted.

"Keep your eyes on the prize and secretly escape! Keep your eyes on the prize and secretly escape! Keep your eyes on the prize and secretly escape!" Tara murmured as she crouched herself, but with a different goal.

Outside Middleton High...

When the news of them getting caught by Kim reached Bonnie's ears, she let out a small sigh and said "Mission failed. Everyone, fall back. We're leaving before Joss and her group comes for us."

The assembled 30-strong Food Chain thugs just outside the school proper looked at their leader questioningly. They were supposed to support an infiltration mission headed by three of their top members. They've been itching to get even after their humiliating defeat during the Pickleworks Festival, but it looks like today's not their chance. There were a lot of murmurs, but they all eventually followed her orders. One delinquent in particular noticed that Bonnie acted unusually this time. Instead of her screeching in irritation, she looks like she is composed, almost as if nothing bad happened.

With that in mind, she approached her leader and asked "How about our mission, Queen B? Will those three be okay if the Bloody Fox found them?"

The brunette's eyes went to her and the delinquent was almost afraid on how cold it looked "They're pretty tough, except for Jennie, so I'm sure they will be fine. And besides... It's all within expectations." She let out a cruel smile afterwards, without giving them a chance to ask more.

As they started marching down the road, a plan started to formulate within her mind. She knew that the way things Food Chain are doing won't cut it against her primary enemies. She needed reinvent how she should handle taking care of the Bloody Fox and Massacre. And based on what she got from the reports, she notices something that can be of help. She may need to test it out further, but the good thing here is that despite the beatdown, Food Chain is still a 100-strong gang, and so she still has a lot of manpower to spare.

All she needs to do now is to make sure that the next opportunity arrives, she will make sure it won't drift off of her hands again.

Back at Middleton High...

"Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch... Thought I was gonna die, let me tell you." Emmie groaned while Ron helped her limp over to one of the available beds inside the school clinic. Because of the difference of their sizes, Ron was having a bit of an issue of laying the girl on the bed as smooth as possible. It was about a few minutes later when he is satisfied that the giantess is nestled comfortably. Afterwards, she carried her small twin, who is already out, to another bed.

After placing the blanket on top of Jennie's body, he faced the school physician and his sister's good friend Amy and asked "Please look after these people." But instead of her usual shenanigans, he found her slumped on her desk with her glasses on her hand. "... I'm sleepy because of your sister. Don't wake me up."

He perfectly understood how the resident doctor felt whenever Adrena loses herself with drinks, specially with what happened last night. He nodded his head, accepting the fact that it is all up to him to treat the twins' scratches and bruises. "I'm sorry." He softly asked forgiveness before diving into the drawer. The twins are covered with bruises and scratchmarks, all thanks to the Bloody Fox's wide array of fighting techniques. Add to the fact that she's extremely pissed made the punches hurt all the more.

While preparing the gauze and the antiseptic, he noticed a strange doll on the other side of the tabletop. Now dolls is not something uncommon when it comes with Dr. Amy, but what's intriguing for the freckled teen is that it mirrors the same facial features as the doctor itself, instead of the unholy combinations her 'Cuddle Buddies DIY Versions' are. In fact, it is the most normal looking doll among all the stuffed animals of her collection.

That's why he went near to the doll. The tape that was found on the doll's right leg shows that its name is 'Is That So? Machine MK. I, Amy Doll'. Turning the soft object around, he can see a small red button found at the bottom. When he pressed it, Amy's garbled recording instantly played "Is that so?"

Curious about the doll, Ron would like to play it again, but before he could press the button, Amy rose her head from her folded arms and warned "Don't touch that."

Assuming that it was a special project that she didn't want other to put their hands on, The blonde teen complied and placed the doll back. He puts his focus back to the aching giantess, and first tried to clean the blood from the cuts with a cotton ball and antispetic. When it first touched a cut from her left cheek, Emmie hissed in pain "Ow, ow, ow, ow! That stings!"

"Please bear with it." Ron consoled while continuing his ministrations. Every cut, he took his utmost care in cleaning it. For every bruise, he applied ointment to avoid any continued swelling. After cleaning her up, he wrapped bandages all around the injured areas. When he was done, he looked back to her twin, who is still out cold. He tried shaking her, but all he got is a groan before limping back into a blissful sleep. "Wake uuuuupp~" Ron cooed, to no avail.

While he continued waking the bluenette out, he realized something. Except for the sleeping doctor, he is only facing 2 of the 3 Food Chain generals in the clinic. "Oh, I just noticed Tara is not here." He mused aloud for the two to hear, not noticing that Jennie is already halfway awake and is now stirring from her sleep.

After rubbing her eyes, Jennie answered with a groan "Ughh... She probably ran away. Tara's the fastest in Food Chain when it comes to running away, you know?" This didn't sit well with the blonde for a bit, thinking that she has the capacity to leave her friends behind without any hesitation, but he supposed it is a fact of life in the world of delinquents, so he shrugged his shoulders.

Once he is done with Jennie all cleaned and bandaged up, he smiled "And this should be good. I'm going back to class, so you two should probably get back to your own school." The twins are all smiling and gave them a thumbs up. "Right'o. Thanks Ron!" Emmie clapped the back of his shoulder while Jennie gave him a thumbs up "You're a real lifesaver!" All three left the still sleeping physician in the room. Ron waved his hands one last time as the two went down the stairs before facing his redhead girlfriend, who is now sporting a frown.

"What are you getting friendly with your would-be kidnappers for?" She asked while crossing her arms.

Ron scratched his cheeks and tried to explain "I wouldn't say I was getting friendly with them. But it wouldn't feel right to just leave them there when they're hurt." And in an instant, the frown went out of the redhead's face, and was replaced with a small smile. "Seriously..." Kim murmured as she went near her boyfriend and gave him a light hug. It wasn't that she's really upset with him in the first place, but his kindness still surprises her. The fact that they are in a budding relationship shows how much he's will to go for the extra mile for people he believes.

And that act makes him plenty manly in her books.

But this is not the end of their trials yet. What happened today is just the tip of an iceberg of troubles they will face. She's the notorious delinquent that is known across the continent. She has a lot of enemies because of that, most of them living in this very suburb. Ron thinks that if he were to be her boyfriend, he expects that he would always be on the thick of things about the delinquent world. And if the freckled blonde would be given a chance, he won't have it in any other way.

He was about to say something when the bell suddenly rang across the school. Both chocolate and emerald orbs saw students starting to beeline their way into their respective rooms. "That's the bell." Ron said, feeling a bit down since he was unable to enjoy his lunch date with Kim. The redhead noticed his look and smiled when an idea struck her. She grabbed his hand within hers, shocking him, and replied "There's no point in rushing, though. Let's take our time."

It took Ron a full minute before the implications sank in his brain. Although he's usually an obedient student, who follows the schedule, it didn't hurt to be a few minutes late for class, specially if that time will be spent with the person that inspires him a lot. "You're a bad girl, you know that?" He teased with a grin, to which Kim matches it with her own and pointed at herself "Delinquent, remember?"

And with that, the two started walking on a across the classroom hallways hand-in-hand, not showing any ounce of care about the time, as they took the scenic route, up until they reach their classroom.

While the two lovebirds and the rest of the Middleton High students went to their rooms, one familiar Food Chain general went out of the janitor's closet and muttered "Deserting them would be a bad idea. Kim's already gone so..."

She went inside the clinic, not knowing that said friends are already outside of the school grounds. Once she slid the door open, she was dumbfounded to not find the twins on the mattresses. "Huh? Those two aren't here. Wonder if they left already." But before she could go deeper into her thoughts about what transpired earlier, she heard a groan from the desk. When she turned her head, she saw the school physician already up and fixing her coat. When their eyes met, Amy started "Hm? Who are you?"

Tara greeted hello to her, to which she replied "You from another school? What do you think you're doing here? Well you're cute, so I'll examine you. What's troubling you?" The platinum blonde shook her hands and politely refused "Oh, no need. I'm uninjured myself."

Amy wasn't deterred, and started eyeing the blonde girl in front of her. She indeed is a stunning lady and Amy is already trying to get as much research as possible from her. "Your skin seems rough." The young girl was unsure on what to say for a moment before giving in and replied "Oh, I haven't been taking care of myself lately." The doctor nodded her head and started checking opening her drawer while probed "Getting enough sleep? How about bowel movements?"

"Sleep's fine... But..." She trailed off from her answer, embarrassed from what she's about to say, but the doctor hit the mark and asked "Constipated, are you? Been for about three days, perhaps?" Tara was shocked that the school physician was able confidently hit the symptoms that she's feeling for quite some time without coming near her. "You can tell just from looking at my skin?" She ask with slight awe from her voice.

Laughter emanated from the doctor's mouth and said "I am a physician, after all. Don't worry, I'll solve your problems and fulfill my duty." With that, she brought out a suspiciously long needle out which made the teen girl gasp in horror. "T-That needle's as long as my entire forearm!" Fear started to creep inside her mind as she tried to check for any route she could take to escape what is probably a life-or-death situation for her far worse that what the Bloody Fox can give.

She then brought out a big black can out and started filling out the syringe. "Let's start with 1 liter first." She giggled while pouring it inside. Tara's flight instincts are already shouting at her to be as far from the medical lunatic as possible, but her feet is frozen in fear. "W-W-Wait, W-WHAAAAAT!? Wait, wait, wait, wait. is this really going to solve my problem?"

With a wag of her finger, Amy tried to persuade her with "It's an effective treatment, well-founded in medical science. Don't worry, it'll be all over soon." What she didn't mentioned that although she submitted this experiment to almost all science journals and organizations, but every single one has ordered to blacklist everything about her works, in fear that they'll be wanted in 54 countries. Tara took a step back once she realized that Amy is getting nearer slowly.

"You know this Fanfiction site doesn't allow these kinds of scenes, right!?" Tara shouted as she tried to inch closer to the door. Everything was quiet for a moment, and she thought she got through her, but a shout from the doctor proved otherwise. "You'll be the one to BREAK THE MOOOOOLDD!"

And with that, Amy tried to chase the now already sprinting girl, who felt like she's being pushed into a state no other person ever has. She's been a runner for most of her time and she loves the thrill of competition, but this run was beyond everything that she ever felt, partly because her life really depended on it, and she didn't want to be near stabbing distance of the unusually huge syringe the doctor is now waving at her. While dashing through the school grounds, Tara let out a horrified shriek:

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

After class...

The sun is starting to set when Kim and Ron reach the school entrance. Both were tired from the class, but they still have enough energy to enjoy their leisure walk. "Anyway, I just sent my guys out to talk with Food Chain about what happened earlier." Kim shared what happened during the Possible Corps meeting. Of course, the blonde teen is still a newbie when it comes to the delinquent world, so he didn't fully understood it, but he thought best that he would leave it to Kim to deal with them. And so, Ron just nodded in response.

"Those guys didn't come here to pick a fight with me. They came to kidnap you, right?" Her emerald eyes narrowed when she asked, to which he confirmed "Yes, that's what they said." The delinquent leader just wen silent for a couple of minutes, lost in her thoughts. She knew that Ron would do anything to keep this relationship, and while she genuinely appreciates his efforts and even wished for them to succeed, the irrational fear that danger always lurk in her world made her feel a bit paranoid, an entirely new emotion the redhead didn't feel ever in her life.

And so, she looked back at him and asked "... You scared?"

Ron shook his head negatively and answered "Not really." Kim stopped walking and rose her brows "Mmm. You know I'm glad to hear that, but I feel like you're a little too carefree about this." The boy looked at the slightly worried girl for a moment before it finally dawned on him that even though she trusts that she can defeat all her enemies in their way, she's unsure about what he would do since I was just recently introduced to her world. Previously, all the Bloody Fox needs to know is all about herself. She's a lone wolf who has nothing but enemies as her constant audience. That even though she had the Possible Corps, all of them look at her with the same icy respect as one of the top delinquents in Middleton.

This is not the case for this time. By adding him into her equation, she is suddenly unsure of certain things. She can face any challenges on her in any day, but when it comes with him, she starts to lose temper. The Pickleworks Festival is a testament that although she still is a force of nature, her usual cool side breaks when it is him involved, and for all delinquents who wants to challenge her, they can have the freckled teen as her crux that will eventually put the Bloody Fox down.

He didn't want to place any burden to her, and so he placed his hand on her shoulder, and stared right to her eyes and said "I won't say that I totally get what is happening, but what I can be sure is I'll do as much as I can to not make you worry. You got my word on that."

Kim didn't know if it was the setting sun, nor the distant noise of students getting out of school, but the scene of Ron's blazing eyes staring directly at her made her knees buckle from the intensity. And in an instant, her worries were drowned. She knew the experience Ron has gone through is not at all easy. If he had the resolve to stare down against Shego and the entirety of Food Chain during the festival, then she can place her trust in him. A smile slowly formed from her lips and nodded "I got you. Whatever happens, I'll do my best to be with you."

The freckled teen flashed his own grin and said "I'm counting on you." Kim giggled before returning to their walk. While the couple left the school premises, a certain blonde teacher is standing in front of her car in the parking lot, staring at her brother together with his newfound interest. Even though it has been quite some time since he delivered his news, Adrena is still dumbfounded on the revelation. Unknowingly, the schoolwork papers that she's supposed to bring home to are already crumpled within her hands.

"That little bi-" Her thoughts were interrupted when a group of students saw her and shouted "Good bye, Miss Stoppable!"

And in an instant, she reverted to her 'teacher mode' and gave them a blindingly bright smile and wave "Yes, Good bye! Have a safe trip home." The blonde elder sister kept waving her hand and smiled until the group went out of the school gates. Once she knows the coast is clear, her face scrunched up again in a grumpy mood and seethed "Damn youuuuuuu Possible!"

Meanwhile inside one of Food Chain's hideouts...

"So yeah, Cousin Kim's doesn't really wanna fight you right now." Joss spat at the indifferent Food Chain leader. "... Though I wanna squash you like bugs ASAP."

Together with a contingent of 10, Joss rallied some of the Possible Corps to Food Chain as the emissary. For the small brunette, she wanted nothing but to crush everything that stood in the way to her cousin's path to glory and fame. And one of the biggest roadblocks is the girl she is speaking to right now. The way that Bonnie has been treating her as if she's lower than even a slave made her blood boil, specially if she considered how badly her gang's been beaten by Kim.

Add the fact that her blatant threat didn't even faze her only added salt in the wound "That so... Want to give it a try?" The Food Chain leader taunted, as if she's daring them to launch an attack.

Joss' fists are white from the pressure. She really, really wanted to hit the smug delinquent, but she knew Kim wouldn't approve any action against her wishes. She's still one of the top delinquent leaders in the land, and she didn't get it by just acting soft. The brunette knew she stood no chance, so like the injured lion who lost a battle of dominance, she clicked her tongue and muttered "... Tch! Don't get too full of yourself." The Possible Corps group turned around and left the hideout without saying another word, much to the Queen B's amusement.

Bonnie smiled cruelly once she understands that they have already left and said "Hmph, I was right then. The plan's a success. It's Kim, so I figured she'd agree to a ceasefire if we put pressure on Ron." Meanwhile, Jennie still rubbed the bandaged arm and asked "Wait a second, did you just use us as a bluff?"

Meanwhile, The Angel of Destruction muttered while holding her chin "So it all ends exactly the way you want it, no matter the results of today's plan." The brunette just tapped the side of her head and boasted "It's the oldest trick in the book. We really are at a disadvantage right now. But there's a certain way of doing things when you're disadvantaged."

While the masked girl nodded in confirmation of what she said, the twins followed up, feeling proud of their leader "There's no one that can beat Bon-bon when it comes to knowing how to be a weak!" Jennie said, not noticing the tick mark forming on said person's forehead. Emmie didn't help either and followed up with "Let's hear it all from the one, the only, Queen B, Bonnie. Queen of the Weak! Queen of the Weak! Queen of the Weak!"

"Shut the fuck up!" Bonnie snarled at the two. Meanwhile, Tara is still sniffing at a corner from her traumatic experience with a certain medical practitioner. "Uuuhh... Wish you could've given the retreat command earlier." The brunette looked at her with curious eyes, but when their eyes met, Tara suddenly broke down and cried "Waaaaah! I don't wanna go to that school anymore!" Instinctively, she rubbed her back and tried to hush her like a mother to a child.

While Food Chain is back to its usual commotion, inside the leader's mind, she mulled her thoughts on the recent development "We'll be able to bide our time and revive Food Chain with this. Thank God for Ron Stoppable. I wanted to get to 500 before the end of the season, but I need to focus on getting back my lost members first. Also, I want to revamp how I run things first. Before anything even more troublesome shows up, I need to prepare."

Riverside road...

As for the Possible Corps, they are currently walking down the road, going back to their respective homes. It has been a whirlwind of events for them, and some are sharing their thoughts on their leader's decision to not attack their rival gang. "Tch! There goes our chance to squash that idiot Queen B!"

The delinquent with pompadour hair on the left piped up and shared his thoughts "Now don't worry about it. They still got over a hundred people there. We can't win on just our own." Another one also chimed in and continued "There's nothing that can be done if Boss Kim doesn't feel like it." The sudden mention of her cousin's name made the brunette to slump down further. Although she don't regard herself as the brightest in the family, she can still notice certain aspects about her long-time idol.

"Aw man. We're relying on Kim so much on everything. I thought Middleton High is supposed to be the baddest school in the Midwest? Plus... It looks like Cousin's getting of fighting lately." Joss muttered to herself. She noticed that the Bloody Fox has lost her fangs' recently, as she puts it. She's still unmatched with the number of techniques under her belt, but if she were to put her finger on it, she started to notice that she is slowly losing the 'bloody' attribute of her had a inkling suspicion that it is due to the lack of challenges aside from Massacre that caused her sudden thirst for fights, but her gut feeling points to the newfound 'acquaintance' with the boy named Ron Stoppable may be the reason, but there were no credible proof yet. Now that Joss thinks about it, she was still unclear about their status.

But before she could continue to ponder to her thoughts, she accidentally bumped into a woman. Joss was sent down to the concrete floor with a dull thud. The other woman, however, was still standing. She is cloaked in white, obscuring her face from everyone within sight. She saw the head tilt down, as if it was staring at her before offering her hand and said "Pardon me. Let me help you."

Joss was unsure on what to react. On one part, she wanted to lash out to the stranger, as what her delinquent self would like to do, but the way her hand seems to be perfectly still, made her stop to her tracks. Cautiously, she reached out to her hand. In a blink of an eye, Joss found herself standing up in her two feet. The rest of the Possible Corps were in shock on the speed the hooded woman pulled her up. By no any means is Joss a heavyweight, but to pull her up as if she's picking up a feather unnerved them. "W-What the-" Joss wondered when she was cut off.

"Are you alright?" The stranger asked. Even though the small brunette is still a bit disoriented, she decided to follow her delinquent roots after all and snarled "T-The hell're you!? Can't you see where you're going? And take off your cloak when you're speaking to one!"

The woman went still for a moment before slowly removing the cloth on her head. All eyes went wide when a beautiful black-haired woman stared at them stoically, and even a few doubted if she ever blinked at all. With a dip of her head, she introduced herself "... I am Athena." With how hard Joss has hit her when she fall, she expected someone who has been jacked with steroids or an overly muscular woman, but what she got is someone who can rival even her cousin when it comes to looks department. Her voice also has a bit of an melodic feel akin to a siren in the sea.

She wanted to lash out to the girl in front, but the cold frozen eyes boring into her made her words melt away like butter. After a moment of tense silence, the woman named Athena looked around, meeting each and every member's eyes squarely before asking "I seek assistance. I would like to know the directions towards the Middleton Space Research Center." Her eyes ended back at Joss, who is now more than perturbed on her unusual behavior.

With a click of her tongue, Kim's cousin snapped at the woman and said "Tch! You should fucking learn how to act when you're asking for stuff." But instead of fright or anger, all she got from the stranger is a blank look on her face, without any hint of emotion. Not even a smirk or click of tongue betrayed her indomitable expression. Their stare-down was finally ended when one of the Possible Corps suddenly reacted "U-Uh, The Middle Space Research Center is just straight west from this road."

Athena snapped her head to the origin of the voice, which made the delinquent to jump in surprise. She turned her head slowly sideways before popping it back up and replied "... I see, I am indebted to you."

Putting her cloak back on, she started walking again, leaving the entire shell shocked group in silence with no words spared. When Joss snapped back to reality, she was fuming on how... unimportant she felt. From the way the girl talks, it is almost as if the Athena girl didn't recognize her as someone worth talking to. She tried to shout and call the girl back but the rest of the corps quickly interjected "Joss, ya can't try and fight someone creepy like that."

"Hah! I coulda taken down someone like that easy." Joss snorted back. The group held her down until she calms down, to which they willingly let her go. Although her ego has taken a lot of beating, both from the stranger and with Bonnie, but strangely she felt a bit better. At least now her mind's out of her worries for her cousin. She fixed her slightly rumpled clothes and stretched her arms "Well, whatever. I feel a bit better now. You told her west down this road? How far do you think she's gonna go? What if she goes past Go City?"

The group suddenly entered into a fit of giggles as they come to realized that they've one-upped the stranger by giving wrong directions. "Haha, yes. It's actually past north." The one who spoke up chortled, to which he received high-fives from the team. "You're such a low-life." The person beside him joked.

"But man, you get impressive people from all over showing up in Middleton during summer. I wonder what's going to come with this?"

The question remained unanswered as the group continued their way back. They already knew to heart that nothing's stays the same with this town, especially when it comes to it's delinquents. The gears of violence has just started turning for this summer, and the group, the entire city, even the entire state is not yet ready on what the future holds for everyone.
