Peter and Cindy opened their eyes and looked around to see nothing happened to them. Looking at themselves, the environment, they have no idea what it was, but it didn't seem to affect anything.

"Huh. Okay." Peter said in confusion.

"What happened?" Cindy wondered as she felt herself and noticed somethings missing. "Hey, do you have my phone?"

"No." Peter said as he felt and noticed his is gone. "Wait, mine's gone, too."

"Well, what's happening?" Cindy asked as she walked up down the road and slammed her face against something. "Uh, we don't have an invisible hero on our team, do we?"

"Uh, that's not an invisible hero." Peter stated as he picked up some dust and tossed it into the air where it hits a forcefield. "It's a dome."

"What is this? Something by AIM?" Cindy wonders. "Some dome we can't get out of?"

"Let's go get back to the others, see what they can help us gather." Peter said and the two begin to walk back to town.

"To quote every Star Wars movie written...I've got a bad feeling." Cindy whispered as she began to race over to his side and walked with him back to town.

They made it back to the main streets of Blue Valley, where all of the shops are, and they were shocked at the first thing they saw.

"Uh...tell me you're seeing what I'm seeing?" Peter asked Cindy.

"What, that not suspicious sign declaring that How to Train YourDragon is back in stock?" Cindy asked with shock rendering throughout her voice.

"In that Hollywood Video store that shouldn't exist anymore." Peter stated as he looked around in shock.

"Yeah, I even noticed we walked past this candy store that was burnt down when we were kids saying Grand Opening." Cindy stated as she looked back to where they came from.

Peter and Cindy looked to one another in complete shock before coming to the same conclusion. "We've time traveled."

"Okay, so none of the pay phones work here, we don't have our phones, and we're trapped inside of a barrier preventing anyone from leaving Blue Valley, and we are stuck...in the 2000's?!" Peter questioned as he and Cindy saw that the whole area of Blue Valley, all of its residents have all been shot back to their 2000 state, except for the two of them.

"This is so crazy." Cindy commented as she took a seat on a bench Peter joined her on. "I mean, why 2010 of all places? I mean, the 80s, 70s, even the 90s, I'd get. But why going back a decade?"

"Well, let's just hope we can find a way out of here quicker with it being just fifteen years away." Peter stated. "Because I'm not opened to taking the long way home."

"Well, how do you plan on getting back to 2021 without a DeLorean or a English phone box?" Cindy asked.

"Well..." Peter starts to think as he leaned to place his elbows on his shoulders and began to think. "Let's take it back to the beginning. How did we get here?"

"A yellow energy ball consumed us at the edge of town." Cindy reported. "And it looked like some sorta new tech AIM could be developing."

"But what if it's not AIM?" Peter asked her.

"What, a Mutant with the ability to send people back in time?" Cindy questioned. "That's kinda farfetched."

"No, when Court was going through the cases for the past villains of the JSA and Avengers, there was a villain named Flashback." Peter suddenly remembered.

"Flashback? Dear god, is there one decent villain name?" Cindy asked.

"He had the ability to manipulate time, making it almost impossible for the Avengers and JSA to defeat him as every time they came close, he would go back in time and warned himself to prepare for it." Peter remembered what Courtney rambled on about, back when she was worried there was a threat coming.

"Okay, not as ridiculous." Cindy guessed. "So, there's a new Mutant in town?"

"And they can control time." Peter finished. "Okay, so the only way to get back is to find out who's doing this and make them undo it."

"So, how can we do that?" Cindy asked. "I mean, Riri and Beth made that device that can track Mutants, but there were hundreds in the 90s."

"Well, if it's a Mutant, that can't help us, but we should be able to track the temporal energy they're emitting if we add a transmitter diode to a sensor." Peter stated.

"Then it could localize the isotopic circuits enough to detect where our mutant is." Cindy understood what he was saying.

"But we need a receiver that doesn't exist." Peter stated.

Cindy smiled and knew exactly where to look. "Come with me." She then got up and started to stroll off like she was the boss or something.

"You know, there's a tech salvation right here." Peter informed her as she just kept marching on. "Five years, and I still don't understand you." He whispered to himself before chasing after her.

Cindy seems to know her way around the neighborhood, considering she grew up here her whole life. She led the two of them to a garbage can that was filled with old tech and was building something.

"This is...a new level of weird." Peter commented as Cindy kept going through the trash before coming out with a makeshift scanner that's working. "Okay, how?"

"My dad was a mechanic for S.H.I.E.L.D. back in the day. Taught me all kind of tricks. Then, you know, let go after gone cuckoo." Cindy stated. "Taught me that one man's trash was another woman's gold mine."

"And how many tetanus shots have you gotten in your childhood?" Peter asked her as he took the scanner, impressed with what she could do with trash. She's really been holding out on the team.

"I only got it once when I was a kid." Cindy defended as she climbed out of the trash as Peter kept looking over the scanner.

"Okay, so let's go find us a super powered mutant." Peter stated as they start to follow the transmitter.

Surprisingly, they were led back to their high school. Well, their soon to be high school in the current situation.

"Back to the school that started it all, talk about irony, huh?" Cindy asked.

"You do know we're still in high school, right?" Peter reminded her.

"You know what I mean. When I first met you, we were just entering our last year of middle school." Cindy reminded him. "When I saw you, I saw that you were hiding a sad face under that smile."

"That's just how I lived." Peter stated as he and her stopped outside the high school. "Like mom used to say, if we can't keep smiling when others can't, then we might as well give up." He sighed as he was reminded of his mom, never actually giving her much thought in his mind since his father took up most of its space.

But as he thought back to his mother, her warm smile, her comforting embrace, her wise words...he felt himself becoming calmer. Almost like a weight was lifting from his shoulders.

"Well, let's keep the faith and keep going." Cindy stated as she and him then remembered who the current principal was.

"We still need to make sure we don't draw attention, and we stand out." Peter stated as they looked down at their 2021 attire.

"Lost and Found's the place to start." Cindy said with a smile.

Making their way into the school, using their powers to stay hidden, they sneaked into the lost and found where they stole some time appropriate clothes and strolled out, Cindy blowing some bubblegum she found.

"Okay, so we ask people questions, preferably people who won't have an impact on our future, using the sensor to detect their mutant genome. If it goes off and the temporal affect meter goes off-"

"We found our guy." Cindy understood perfectly.

So, they decided to start out in the least likely place to find anyone from their future: the gym.

"This for the yearbook?" The jock they were currently talking to asked.

"Yes." Cindy lied, holding a notepad that was hiding the scanner. "Exactly that."

"What's the question?" The jock asked.

"Where do you see yourself in two decades?" Peter asked him.

Their jock then looked and began thinking, and still thinking...and thinking. "What's a decade?"

Not their guy.

They gave the music department a shot, but that ended with some rapping kid, they're pretty sure that this guy has some YouTube channel in their time.

But things didn't seem to get much better when they talked to the random students in the hall.

"In two decades, I'll be like everyone else in this dumb high school." The gothic girl from the halls stated. "A zombie. Totally dead."

All throughout everyone they've met with, they've been using the scanner in order to pick up if any of the students are Mutants.

And they haven't picked up anyone with Temporal Anomalies from any of these kids. Later on, they were back with the first kid, and he was still thinking of how much time it would be.

"I think it's a lost cause." Cindy sighed to Peter.

"Thinking the same thing." Peter agreed.

Just then, their senses both went off and they looked to see a few of the other jocks.

"Hey, dog, check it out. Parents got it for me." He said and showed off some old smartphone. "Said they wanted the NFL to get in touch with me anytime."

"Nice, Deon." Their subject replied before looking back to the others. "I wanna be just like him. He's gonna kill it at the state championship tomorrow."

Just as the three left, Peter looked down and they realized that the scanner was going off at the third guy that was with him.

"Maybe we spoke too soon." Peter said as they followed him into the lockers.

"Just wait until those dumb jocks see what the future has in store for them." He sighed in annoyance.

"Hey, what's happening?" Peter asked as he and Cindy walked over to him.

"Who are you?" He asked them.

"We're students." Cindy lied as she used the scanner.

"Yeah, you guys don't look like you belong here." He commented on their attire and faces.

"Come on, it's not like we just left Munchkin land." Peter scoffed.

"Yet he looks like he just left Jakku." Cindy commented as she gestured to the kid who has a tan.

He looked up, confused at what she just said. "Force awakens hasn't come out yet."

"Yeah, he's right." Peter agreed as he looked at Cindy. "That won't be for another five-wait." He then looked back over to their guy.

"How'd you know that?" Cindy asked, the scanner going insane.

"This isn't right." He said, getting very confused and looking over to the two. "You gotta help me, please. We're trapped in the same date!"

They then felt the room starting to shake and wonders what's happening. They looked and saw the wave was coming back at them, and immediately consumed them.

On the outskirts of the city, the AIM van that contained Hope, Nadia, Scott, Hank, and his super body has finally arrived on the outskirts of Blue Valley when they stopped after seeing the bubble.

"Uh, what is this?" Hope asked as they walked out of the van and tried to push through the bubble.

"What did we miss?" Scott wondered.

Peter and Cindy were shocked to see when they opened their eyes after the blinding light that they were right back at the start of the day.

"Okay, what the heck just happened?" Peter asked.

"That kid said everything was gonna start over." Cindy repeated what he said. "The whole day restarted."

"So, we're stuck in Groundhog Day?" Peter understands. "Repeating the same day over and over."

"Everyone here is affected but us, why's that?" Cindy wondered.

"Maybe it's our spider senses, maybe something more inner-dimensional. Or..." Peter took a guess and had a thought as he took out their sensor that was now completely cooked. "The sensor was searching for the energy, must've absorbed most of it for us. But I don't think that'll help us again."

"So if we break the loop again, and the day resets, we will reset with them?" Cindy asked started to panic.

"It's possible, but I don't wanna take the risk." Peter replied.

"Okay, wait..." Cindy started to wonder something. "Our spider-senses. They went off with that other guy walked in with our jock guy."

"And those don't go off unless there's something dangerous." Peter understood what she was saying.

Let's go see what he has to say about this." Cindy said as they went off to find him.

The two of them got changed into their super gear, feeling they're gonna need it, and made their way to the gym and dropped down to find their jock.

"Hi there, big guy." Peter greeted him.

"We just need to ask you a few questions." Cindy said as she laid against the wall with her arms crossed.

"We know what you are." Peter stated.

"And we want you to stop it." Cindy demanded.

"What are you talking about?" He asked them.

"We know it's you who's messing with time." Cindy stated as they walked over to him.

"Close." Someone said, getting them to look and see some blonde their age walking over to them. "And I know you don't belong here."

"What?" Peter asked, confused on what's happening.

"Deon, get out of here." The blonde tells the jock who left and ran away. "Now...where were we?" She asked with a grin as he started to glow yellow, and the heroes realize they shouldn't have rushed in.

"We have a time god." Peter whispered.

"Who-wait, who are you?" Cindy asked, not familiar with all of the people in Blue Valley anymore.

"My names Liri Lee." She introduced herself. "And you ruined my perfect day."

"Okay, but why 2010?" Peter wondered.

"You think I chose the date?" Liri asked with a scoff. "I didn't choose when. I just had some fun with it."

"You can manipulate time?" Cindy was shocked to hear.

"Learned it a week ago. Or was it last year?" Liri asked, and they realized she's been at this for a while. "Time flies when you're messing with the space time continuum."

"This just got a whole lot weirder." Peter commented. "But it's time to put an end to this."

"You two really think you can stop me?" Liri asked. "You're joking."

Cindy and Peter both got into their fighting positions and knew they needed to stop this before she messed with the space time continuum anymore.

"This should be fun." Liri said with a grin. "Let's see who's really out of time."

"That was just lame. And that's coming from me." Peter said as he went in to shoot a web strain at her, but that was met with his web shooters vanishing.

"Oh, whoops. Looks like I erased your weapons from time." Liri mocked.

"We don't need those to stop you." Cindy stated as she ran in and leaped, shooting a million strands of webbing at her, but they were then stopped and frozen in an instant.

Peter saw it as an opportunity as he went leaping in and kicked her in the back, sending her toppling down, saving Cindy as she was released from her time pause.

"You have any ideas to stop her?" Cindy wondered.

"Punch her really hard." Peter confessed his plan as Liri started to get back up.

"Looks like you're out of time." Liri said as she started to summon more energy, ready to restart everything when Cindy shot strands of webbing for the two and yanked Liri at them and then punched her in the face, allowing her to stop the bubble, and allowing it to shrink and die, turning everything back to normal.

"Well, that was easy." Cindy commented. "A little anticlimactic."

Just then, their senses went off again and the school gym's roof exploded.

"You had to say something?" Peter asked as they were shot back and quickly shielded each other from the debris using the gym.

Several AIM Agents came flying in and aimed their weapons, shouting to grab the girl, and they were shocked that they weren't here for either of them when they watched and immediately flew off with Liri. Before the two had a chance to even react to their appearance, the AIM Agents immediately escaped and left.

"Uh...what just happened?" Cindy asked Peter, hoping he had answers.

"I think AIM just kidnapped a mutant with the power to manipulate time." Peter stated.

"We might wanna tell the rest of the team." Cindy said, hoping the others would be back soon.

"Tell us what?" Scott asked, shocking them when the team turned and saw that the Insect squad was back.

"Scott? Hope? Nadia?" Cindy was surprised they were already back.

"And not just us." Scott said when the three grew to normal size and gestured to the doors where Hank Pym was standing.

"What happened here?" Hank asked.

"Long story." Cindy sighed. "It's been a long day. Is it still the same day?"

Liri woke up to see she was in some sort of spherical prison. She wondered what was happening when she saw George Tarlton and Monica Rappaccini.

"She is the missing element." Monica confirmed to George, holding a scanner up to Liri. "I can make it work with her help."

"And our guest of honor?" George asked.

"We've successfully captured Clint Barton. And he's willingly agreed to help." Monica promised.

"Get the time portal ready." George said as he started coughing violently. "It's time to see what the future holds for us."

The two started to leave and Liri got off the ground and got angry. "Hey! Where am I? Let me out!" They didn't listen to her and kept going. "Hey! Let me out!"

Meanwhile, down below in the remains of the old DA/ISA base, which was falling apart and rubble everywhere due to the JSA and Avengers destroying it last time they were down there. The children have all gathered with Cindy B to follow their next step now that everyone was together.

"Why is the plan changing, Burman?" Elaine Coll asked Cindy. "I thought we needed everyone in order to take them on."

"Forget Barton and Cameron. They're not worth it." Cindy B. could tell, there was no point in trying to turn Peter after what she saw. "The diamond is all the help we need."

"What is it?" Artemis Crock asked as she spun her bat around in her hand.

"It's power, that I control." Cindy B. answered.

"Come on, let's get on with it." James Sanders sighed in annoyance. "A minute here feels like an eternity for me."

"You're not patient, are you?" Elaine noticed about him.

"I'm a Speedster, we're not known for it." James confirms.

"There's just one more piece of the puzzle we need." Cindy B. said as she walked over to a computer and immediately activated it.

The computer booted up and the camera on top of it came alive and started to scan the people around it.

"Burman, Cindy. Crock, Artemis. Bowin, Isaac. Coll, Elaine. Sanders, James." The computer took notice of all of them.

"What the hell is this?" Isaac asked.

"Some recording?" Elaine guessed as she looked around the computer.

"I am not a recording, Fraeulein. I may not be the man I was when Captain Rogers took me prisoner in 1945. But I am Arnim Zola." The computer introduced itself and revealed a photograph of his human self to them, surprising most of them hearing the smartest HYDRA scientist was apparently a computer system. "Now pray tell, why have you brought me back online?"

"We need you to do a little of your thinking in order to find us some heroes." Cindy B answered with a grin.

Out in the distance of Blue Valley, almost exactly where Peter and Cindy were previously, an engineering company sent out someone to fix the wiring that blew, sending the electricity of the town out of control.

As he was just finishing his work, he missed the gigantic blue sphere of energy forming as the engineer was wrapping up the wiring. What came out of the sphere was a young girl who came stumbling out and crawling with a gasp, finally getting his attention.

He turned and saw the young woman with long, brown, curled, braided hair stumbled and trip as she climbed up using the van for support.

"Hello?" The man asked as he walked over to her.

"I gotta stop him." She muttered as she looked around franticly, muttering things he didn't understand. "Fear the beast. Gravity will fall. Stop the past to save the future."

"Are you okay?" He asked and saw she was clutching her side and blood was pouring out.

"I-I made it back. The year. What year it it?!" She asked the man and grabbed his arm for support.

"2021." The man answered and the girl sighed in relief at hearing the news.

"It worked. I'm back." She sighed in relief and lied her back against the van. "I made it back, dad."

"Lady, what's your name?" He asked and put a hand on her shoulder.

"My name..." She panted and tried her best, almost like she was trying to remember her name. "...My name's May. Mayday Parker."
