After everything that happened, the team came together to see exactly what happened with Amadeus. But it seemed that nobody had a clue on what happened with him.

"I don't...it was like I had no control, but I also knew what I was doing," Amadeus told them. "I was walking around, trying to turn back to normal when something caused me to react."

"The Diamond." Chavez guessed.

"It's possible." Peter had to guess.

"So, that explains why when we got it to Joey, he was able to cool down." Bobbie guessed.

"Let's just hope it never happens again," Riri said when they hear something drop and looked upstairs to see a familiar face.

"Or maybe you'll want his brawn for this." Kate Bishop called as she strolled down.

"Ooh, Brawn!" Cindy called as she looked at Amadeus. "That's a cool name."

"Brain and Brawn." Amadeus had to agree it's a cool idea.

"Kate!" Peter was happy to see her as Kate walked up and hugged him. "Oh, it's great to see you."

"You too, Peter." Kate agreed.

"Wait. Where's Clint?" Teresa questioned.

"That's complicated." Kate sigh.

"Where have you been?" Peter wonders.

"That's...complicated, too." Kate sighed and knew this was going to be a strange story. "Can we talk alone?"

"Sure." Peter guessed.

The two of them then walked into the main room of the garage and saw nobody was around with the doors closed and locked. With Pat being in the hospital, Robbie leaving town, nobody was expecting the place to be open.

"What's up?" Peter asked her.

"As you were aware, Clint and I went undercover inside of AIM. Dismantle what we could from the inside." Kate reminded him of their mission.

"I remember," Peter assured her.

"Well...during one of our missions, we discovered a secret project they've been working on." Kate showed a flash drive she had carried with her. "And we learned what happened to Nick Fury."

"What happened to Nick?" Peter questioned.

"After Battleworld, there were still people misplaced, even a few people were erased from existence. But Nick didn't reappear, so we wondered what happened to him." Kate then placed the drive into a tablet she brought with her. "Then we found this."

Peter watched the drive appear and Kate clicked on what was attached and it revealed a video. The video seemed to have been dated 02/21/32.

10 years in the future.

"S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent..." Nick Fury showed up, revealing to be wearing some uniform and bleeding from several cuts on his face. "This is Nick Fury. Many good men and women died making sure this message got back in time to you. So, you better listen up. Our world is under attack." Some explosion went off around him, claiming the lives of some agents, even a few familiar faces. Fury also raised his hand to shield himself from the explosion and they saw something approaching him from behind. "Some maniac is trying to destabilize the fabric of reality. We tried to stop him...but we got our teeth kicked in."

They saw a figure tall slim man wearing a helmet with a strange collar and a helmet to match enter the frame from the explosion. He made his way towards Fury while floating on a small platform under his feet and was revealed to be holding a glowing cube of sorts. It was hard to make out with the video glitching.

"Now it's up to you. If you and the heroes don't succeed...reality will come crashing down on your heads." Nick pleaded to the video as he started to cough, and the glowing light started to consume their base. "Only you can help win this war. A war...For the future."

That's when the beam of light consumed the camera and Nick Fury and showed nothing but static.

"What?" Peter asked in shock.

"Nick somehow ended up ten years in the future, and AIM has been working on a Tachyon project then...I lost contact with Clint when destroying their facility with this drive." Kate explained it the best way that she could. "Then we got this." She pulled up a map that had a green blip near Blue Valley. "There was some sort of disrupting the past few days."

Peter immediately saw what caused it and sighed. "Liri Lee."

"Who?" Kate asks.

"She was this recent mutant we fought who had the power to alter time," Peter explained his recent adventure with Cindy. "Sent us to the early 2000s."

"Oh." Kate was surprised to hear that. "Okay. What happened?"

"AIM captured her." Peter was sorry to say but was worried for his uncle. "What about Clint?"

"He was captured and brought here," Kate said as she brought up a map of AIM Facilities and one was circled. "This is where they're doing their experiments from. What experiments, I don't know. Clint was supposed to help me get in and destroy it but was captured during the last raid."

"So, what do you need here?" Peter wonders, not seeing what she's here for.

"Help," Kate answered him. "Backup."

Peter understood that and looked back to the other room and wondered who would be able to help. "What are you looking for?"

Kate took the team onboard a hijacked AIM vessel she got her hands on while she was escaping their facilities. Kate, Peter, Courtney, Cassandra, and Teresa are the people on board. Them has a good stealth and power level that would be useful for the mission.

"The base that he's at is highly classified and is highly guarded. Means either stealth or fighting our way in. Me personally, I choose stealth." Kate muttered to herself as she was facing the others. "What do you guys think?"

"Stealth sounds the best for now. We don't know what they're doing in there." Peter commented and the others easily agreed, not looking to be captured in the middle of a fight.

"Right. Sweet." Kate agreed as she put on her glasses, which were nano-computers in disguise connected to her brainwaves. "Okay, we take down their communication towers and sneak in. Simple enough. With a powerset like this, we should be okay."

"I wouldn't be so sure about that," Teresa called from the window as they all walked to the front of the ship and saw that there was indeed a problem. There was some sort of things...like cracks in the sky.

Storms were coming from the cracks, the pieces turning into shards and floating around.

"I thought Chicken Little was just a dumb story." Peter tried to joke at the sight of what he was seeing.

"This is weird," Courtney commented.

"What are they working on down here?" Cassandra wonders.

"Let's find out," Kate said as she saw they reached a blind spot in the AIM system close enough to their comms. "Let's head out."

At the AIM comms facility, there were a few guards on patrol, keeping an eye on the skylight for any incoming shipments as the ship came in for a landing. As soon as it landed, they expected someone to come out with crates like all the others.

Only when the doors opened and they approached them, two arrows came flying out and impaled themselves into their shoulders and zap the AIM Agents before they could let out a cry, causing them to collapse.

Kate then was the first to exit the ship and take a look around to make sure the coast was clear. Seeing a junction box nearby, she aimed it with another arrow and shot it. That caused the facility to power down, giving them the advantage to exit the ship and make their way into the halls before the backups powered up.

With them now having a way into both facilities, it was time for the two teams to split and play their parts to save Clint. Cassandra and Teresa would take down their communications, keeping them down so they can't call for help or backup if things go south.

To keep things from going south, Kate, Courtney, and Peter would sneak into the base and free Clint. Them being the strike team, Teresa and Cassandra looking into everything they can about the project.

Kate, Courtney, and Peter were making their way to the main door to the facility where Clint was being held and saw the people who were holding the place down. They seemed to put a lot of faith in their robots as that's all that was watching

"Okay. I spot three Adaptoids." Kate told them as she passed the goggles over to Peter as he spotted the same.

"I can get us in through the door," Courtney said and gestured to the Cosmic Staff. "But the Adaptiods might be a problem."

"Not for me," Kate said as she took her arrows out, which they noticed had a glowing tip that she shot out and embedded into their heads, shutting down the droids.

"How...how'd you do that?" Peter asked, they have been working on ways to do that for months and have never been able to accomplish the task.

"Some weapons I developed after me and Clint found out their weakness and created it into a virus for them," Kate informed them as they then made their way up to the doors.

Once they made it to the door, Courtney used the Staff to short circuit the doors and allowed them entrance. Once inside, they went back into stealth mode and started to sneak around. Inside, they were able to contact Teresa and Cass to see what they discovered.

"Hey, guys, so check this out. According to the scientist here, the facility is being used to harness...Time Tachyons." Teresa informed them.

"Time what?" Courtney asks, not following.

"Tachyons," Peter repeated what his sister had told them. "It's a theorized way of time traveling. But there's no real way of working with them."

"Well, these guys seem to have found a way," Teresa replied.

"We are sure he isn't lying?" Kate wonders.

"No, not unless he can beat a lasso that forces you to tell the truth," Cassandra informed them how they got the information.

"If they found a way to time travel..." Peter was starting to understand what was going on. They took that time traveling inhuman and might be harnessing her powers to power a time machine. "They would need test subjects."

That got their attention as they got the idea of what Clint was doing here. They then picked up their pace and raced through the facility to come across where they are holding the prisoners.

Once there, Courtney scorched the doors and allowed the doors to open up. Once then, they were met with Clint wearing his new suit that came in a Post-Battleworld timeline. It was an all-dark suit with small places for arrows on his outfit and a purple arrow end at the chest piece of his suit.

"Peter? Courtney? Katie?" Clint asked in shock to see the three of them. He walked out of his cell and showed he had handcuffs on his wrists to stop him from escaping.

"Oh my god!" Kate said in relief as she ran over and hugged him.

"What are you all doing here?" Clint asked them.

"What do you think?" Peter asked with a scoff as that's should be obvious. "We came here to get you out of here."

"You do know what a rescue mission is, right?" Courtney asked him.

"You don't understand. I agreed to this." Clint informed them.

"What?" Kate asked as she backed away from him. "Why would you agree to this?"

"Because...that message we discovered was only the beginning." Clint tried to explain to her. "I found Fury. He was here. They sent him to the future."

"Wait, so the same Fury in that video is the Fury from our time?" Peter asked, trying to understand this time travel.

"No. Because Fury was in the room with me when we were shown the message." Clint stated. "AIM has been using time travel to get into contact with the future version of us to figure out what that message meant. Right now, it's a temporary truce."

"That's why they pulled out of Blue Valley." Peter was putting it all together. "To put all their resources on this."

"And we're looking at an apocalyptic level event," Clint informs them. He then looked down the halls and saw someone approaching. "But what they have planned, I'm pretty sure it's a one-way trip for me. So, I need you guys to stay here and be ready to destroy everything here. This mission will destabilize reality if it goes wrong or if it goes on for too long."

"Got it," Kate assured him.

"Even if it means leaving me behind," Clint informed the three of them.

"What?" Peter asked, not on board with that idea. "Clint, I am not losing you, too."

"Then be ready," Clint asked of them and went back into his cell. "Go."

Courtney and the staff floated into the ceiling where Kate blew open the air vents and the two made their way inside. Peter looked over to his uncle with sad eyes and knew that he had a plan.

"Come back." Peter pleaded to his uncle.

"I'll do my best," Clint assured him with a smile. "But, Pete, if anything were to happen-"

"No." Peter immediately stopped Clint, knowing he was going to say his final farewell. "Don't finish that thought. Tell me the next time we see each other. Past or future."

Clint chuckled at the time travel joke as the doors fixed themselves and the doors closed. Peter then made it out of the way and into the air vents with Kate and Courtney, who have already sneaked away and quickly followed after them.

Monica was in the main room of Project Reset and the three intruders came across the same room. The portal looked like a giant mirror being held by lights that activated the reflection. The difference? The reflection was destroyed. The entire other side was a reflection of the same room.

It was like when the portal was closed, you would see the main room. But when the portal was open, you would see the part of the room you were looking at was destroyed. It was like a messed-up funhouse mirror.

Monica looked to her head scientist. "Is it ready?"

"It's all ready to go, but I advise against this mission." He informed her.

"You're advising is noted," Monica said as she looked over to Clint. "Our guest has agreed to help. Remember what's riding on this."

"Yeah, don't worry, doc, I'll keep my end of the deal," Clint said as he looked back and eyed the kids before walking towards the portal.

Clint raised his hand to the portal and walked through as if it were a waterfall. The portal then immediately shuts down and the three of them are left to wait and see if they can find a way to reactivate it once they left.

They just hope Clint is okay.

Wherever he is...

20 YEARS LATER...

Clint walked through the portal and saw the wasteland that the world has turned into. There was nothing but death and destruction everywhere. Either destroyed buildings, overgrown plant life, or dead bodies and/or skeletons flooded the streets like a desert.

"My God," Clint whispered in shock. "What happened here?"

In the wasteland utopia of Kang's empire, he saw a blip show up on his screen for what's happening outside the wastelands. The sky was the same kind of crack as the sky the team spotted on the way in, but looking like northern lights within all of the shards.

"What's that?" A voice called out, but there was no sign of another figure in his room.

"They got it working," Kang said with a giant grin as he watched Clint Barton get the lay of the land using a drone. "It's almost time..." He then hit on the comms to contact his team. "The time has come, Yolanda. Bring me Clint Barton."
