Ami looked around the Sanctum Sanctorum as the other members of the Midnight Sons made their way through after taking care of the Black Diamond from Cindy B. Wherever she ended up after the attack from that Brawn guy.
"Okay. I have to admit...this would be a safer place than in the woods." Ami admitted as she looked around.
"Well, you can rest easy now," Joey promised as they placed the Diamond on a pedestal in the middle of the room. "It's over."
"I'm afraid not," Clea warned them, earning a jump from Joey as he turned to face her. "I have seen the monster that went up against your friends. And have taken a look through the cosmos and learned a new threat is approaching."
"What's that?" Robbie asked her.
"I've seen the Forces have been unleashed across our world," Clea said to them.
"The Forces?" Fallon asked in confusion. "What are the forces?"
"They are a power source that is not of this world. They are not supposed to have made their way here." Clea said as she floated over and landed in the middle of them. "You've met two of them. Avery Ho is the wielder of the Speed Force in our world. And Amadeus Cho is the wielder of the Strength Force." Then she looked over and eyed the Diamond. "And the Fear Force."
"Very original naming." Marc complimented sarcastically.
"I didn't name them," Clea replied with a sigh of annoyance. "And the Still Force, Liri Lee, has already been captured and taken by Advanced Idea Mechanics."
"How many are left?" Joey asked in confusion.
"Just one has not been discovered. The Light Force," Clea informs her. "And I have located where to find it."
Then she used her powers to show them a small bar that they know at Blue Valley. They heard singing and all of them looked to see a familiar face was singing.
She was a young woman, long blonde hair draping down to her hips, wearing what looked to be a full one-piece white suit with two blue triangles drawn around her eyes to point at one another.
"Put your hands on me. To marvel inside my heart." She was singing, getting a shock from Joey as he actually knew who she was. "Make it come brighter. Our love is on fire. Turn all the lights out. Taking me higher. Put your hands on me, put your hands on me."
"Allison?" Joey asked in shock. "Allison Blare?"
"You know her?" Fallon asked.
"She's a constant contestant of mine during my magic acts," Joey admitted. "You know, before I became Dr. Strange."
"You must hurry in locating her," Clea warns them. "I feel an alleviant force at work to try and steal their powers."
"And if that happens...?" Marc wanted to know the full content of what will happen.
"Death and chaos will ensue across the multiverse," Clea answered.
While Peter, Kate, and their team took a small team out to locate and save Clint from AIM, the rest of the team that stayed behind figured it would be a good idea to try and figure out more about Amadeus Cho's...strength.
"I don't even remember what happened," Amadeus told the team while Riri was doing her scans to figure out exactly what triggered his powers. "I was walking down the street, then ran into Cindy Burman, the next thing I know I'm filled with anger and fear."
"That sounds like Bruce Banner's condition," Beth commented.
"Well, let's see what happens when we make you angry," Riri said as she showed him a syringe. "Bruce figured a way to help him and the Hulk share a body without having a giant raging monster. He just never got to test it."
"And you want to inject me with it?" Cho asks.
"It either hurts and causes you to rage out, which you will escape until you find a place to calm down, or it allows you to control your rage and you can turn back and forth on your own," Riri told him it was a win-win either way.
Cho sighed and groaned, knowing this was gonna be a bad idea. "Do it."
Riri then injected him with it the formula and watched the man starting to transform. Cho started to panic, feeling the heat under the collar as he ripped his shirt off, and his skin started to turn green.
"Gah!" Cho cried as his muscles enhanced and he started to tower over everyone as they backed away and watched to see if it worked.
The monster growled and started to punch, trying to break its way out while the others got ready for a fight. The monster then started to cool down after a moment, just when the forcefield gave way from the strength, the monster fell to his knees and grabbed his head.
"Whoo," Cho said, with a gruff voice. "That is a lot..." He then looked down at the palm of his hand and made a fist. "Whoa. I'm...Shrek?"
Riri was looking astonished before he said that and couldn't believe what she just heard. "I'm going to ignore that claim." She then looked over the scans and was shocked at all of this. "You've got control. You're in control of this."
"What is...this?" Cho asks.
"That is something we have yet to discover." Riri had to admit.
Back at the hospital, one of the doctors was walking around the halls while Dr. Chapel was looking into the room where "Mayday Parker" was staying when he noticed the bed was empty through the window.
Surprised and filled with worry, he went into the room himself and looked around to notice she has escaped. Walking in further, he closed the door as he looked and wondered where she went.
Meanwhile, outside the window, Mayday was currently clinging to life on the side of the building. Looking over herself, she saw that there was no way she was getting around unnoticed in this hospital gown.
And there was only one place where she can get clothes. At least, it's the only place where she has been gaining clothes since her childhood.
Down in the morgue of the hospital, the place was empty of people, allowing Mayday to roam freely as she walked around and pulled some clothes. She took some jackets in the garbage along with a pair of cut-up jeans and a torn shirt.
Looking over herself, she looked like someone who had just come back from the dead. Which is ironic considering according to her calculations, she has returned to the current time of her birth. Taking another quick stop to grab her suit and gadgets from the office on her way out.
Pulling the hood up to not draw any more attention to herself, she sneaked out of the hospital while avoiding all the doctors with her powers. Once she made her way outside, she pulled the sleeve of her jacket up to pull out a GPS with a tracker acting.
The tracker located dimensional frequent energy and remembered what they told her in the future.
"Find the Singularity. Get to the Pit Stop." Mayday remembered the plan that she was told in her time. "And don't get caught."
Back with the Light Force, Allison Blare was making her way out of her day job and started to make her way home. On the way, she was humming some of her favorite songs to herself when a portal opened behind her.
Seeing the glowing light, Allison turned around and saw the Midnight Suns making their way out of the portal.
"Allison Blare?" Robbie called out.
"We need you to come with us," Fallon called out.
Allison looked around them and recognized a few when spotting someone in particular. "Joey Zarick?"
Joey was shocked that she managed to recognize him through the spell he had in place for himself.
"What is this? Dress up?" Allison asked him.
"Allison, your life is in danger. We're here to help." Joey informed her.
"From who?" Allison asks.
"We're not entirely sure," Marc admitted as he looked around them. "But whoever it is, they have the want, need, and possibly the power to kill you."
"You just have to trust us," Ami asked of her.
"Who would want to hurt me? I'm a young girl with no enemies." Allison informed them.
Then a flash of white lighting came in and caused them to look and they saw someone wearing a similar suit to Avery.
"Me." She declared, and they recognize her as the girl Avery said trained her.
Meena Dhawan.
Allison scoffed at that and looked to the Midnight team. "Her?"
Robbie stepped forward and pulled out a chain. "What do you want with her?"
"Oh, didn't Clea, the real Sorcerer Supreme, inform you what I want?" Meena asked as she strolled forward. "I want her Force energy."
"For what purpose?" Fallon asked as she drew her sword.
"To become the most powerful being in existence. And you aren't powerful enough to stop me." Meena informed the team."
"That ain't happening," Ami stated as they all came forward and got ready for a fight.
"It's five against one, lady," Joey stated, creating shields.
"Suit yourself." Meena sighed, electricity flowing through her veins.
Zooming around the street, Meena smacked Joey, sending him flying and causing the Cloak to try and save him. Robbie try to wrap his chain around her, but she moved too fast, even for the Rider to catch. That ends with her zooming and punching Robbie, sending him flying down the street. Ami tried to help fight, but this wasn't something she was used to and she was smacked into the wall. Marc sent several of his blades out to try and trip or stab her but ended up getting stabbed by his own weapons, taking him down.
Meena smiled as she saw her job done and turned to Allison.
"Stay away from me!" Allison demanded.
As she said that, a sound convergence happened which created a giant sound wave that sent Meena flying. The other Midnight Suns got back to their feet and watched as Meena sped off.
"Whoa." Joey had to admit that was amazing.
In space, a giant light comes falling and crashes into the forest nearby the small town. The impact caused a cloud of smoke that finally revealed what it was that fell and showed a cosmic being.
The force looked like a woman's shape and had fallen unconscious after impact. That's when she was discovered by Mayday Parker, sliding down into the crater, and smiling at the sight.
"Welcome back, Singularity," Mayday said before picking up the cosmic being. "We've got a lot of work to do."
THE FUTURE:
Clint walked through the portal and saw the wasteland that the world has turned into. There was nothing but death and destruction everywhere. Either destroyed buildings, overgrown plant life, or dead bodies and-or skeletons.
"My God," Clint whispered in shock. "What happened here?"
He kept walking and as he did, he appears to have stepped on a trap because a bell rang, and he was met with a group of men walking and aiming their weapons toward Clint. Their weapons consisted of spheres, worn-down guns, and axes, making them look like they were coming from a Mad Max convention.
"Are you a fighter, or are you food?" Their leader asked Clint.
Clint looked around, almost as if he didn't think he was asking him this but someone else. But after seeing he was indeed talking to Clint; he had no idea what to say after hearing that.
"I'm just passing through," Clint told them casually.
"It is food." He reported to his men and Clint was shocked to see these humans have resorted to catabolism. Working fast, he reached into his back and grabbed an arrow to shoot, only for a gun to shoot and destroy his bow.
"Aw, shit," Clint whispered as he was getting ready to fight them when a portal opened, followed by a repulsers blast that sends a few of them flying.
Clint then looked and saw a bigger portal opening, followed by Ironheart, Hourman, and Dr. Strange exiting and ready for a fight.
"Ha! Joey! Riri! Rick!" Clint cheered at the (strangely) familiar faces. "Boy, are you guys screwed."
Before the monarchs could even understand what happened, Joey used the bands and yanked several of them as Riri blasted several missiles and created a smoke cloud.
"Yeah, Ironheart!" Clint cheered when he suddenly saw through the smoke that Rick picked up one of the men as he screamed in fear and BIT his face off. "Uh...what are you...what?"
Joey and Riri also joined in and took down the rest of the monarchs by eating them.
"Guys, this seems like overkill," Clint stated to them in disgust, wondering what's changed over the years. And wondering why they haven't changed.
Riri then raised her face from the mist and Clint was shocked to see her skin is pale...and has a whole chunk of it missing, including an eye!
"Holy God!" Clint cried as he saw that the same was visible for Joey and Rick.
Joey's face had his entire left cheek missing, his suit torn and his left arm showing the bone.
As for Rick, he almost looked the same, just without the pale skin and the fact his entire right leg is just a bone. Riri raised her blaster to Clint when the Cloak of Levitation came in and wrapped around her blaster.
When the blast went off, the glove was redirected to the sky. Then the Cloak tossed Riri at Rick, giving them an extra moment to escape.
Clint couldn't imagine the kids as zombies and less to the fact he didn't want to hurt them and took off running.
But that's when Joey used his portals to end up ahead of Clint and was on his way through when the Cloak stopped him halfway through.
Clint stumbles backward and is barely missed by Joey when the cloak spins him around and stops Joey by allowing the portal to cut him in half.
Signing in relief, Clint thought the nightmare was over when Rick came over and was ready to bite. Clint sadly let out a giant shriek at the sight when someone grew and shot Rick in the face.
The figure was revealed to be a familiar figure who wasn't a zombie and was years older than her mainstream counterpart. Nadia Van Dyne panted in exhaustion before turning to see Clint Barton was indeed here.
Mike was right. He was here.
"Go. You'll be safe with them!" Nadia demanded Clint as a truck drove up and revealed to have someone behind the wheel, a women archer in the back, and a few other familiar faces in the back.
"What the hell is going on?" Clint asked her in shock, having never met the daughter of Hank Pym yet. "Who are you people?"
"All that's left of the good in humanity," Nadia informed him.
That's when someone swings in and picked up Clint as he cried in terror for a second time.
"Hey, it's okay. You can relax." The woman told him, revealing to him that she was wearing a Spider-Man-styled Symbiote suit. "I'm just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Girl."
"Oh, really? Then what the hell happened to the neighborhood?!" Clint asks her.
