Author's Note: Heheh, sorry for the cliffhanger that was last chapter! But since this is a Rick Riordan series I'm writing fanfiction of, I couldn't help trolling you guys a little bit. Please forgive me! I sure hope posting a chapter a bit sooner than normal makes up for it. ヽ(•‿•)ノ

Was Percy deaf? Couldn't he hear Jason's shouts for him to get out of there? Though he waited for as long as he could, Jason eventually had no choice but to get off the ship. No matter how badly he didn't want to leave his best bro (Percy) behind, Jason knew he wouldn't be able to get him out in time.

He scanned the horizon anxiously as he flew away, watching the last of the hippalektryons shrink away into the distance.

The Argo II hit the forest. Trees snapped underneath the weight of the ship, but the sturdiest branches and trunks impaled the hull, sending splinters everywhere. Jason groaned as he dodged some of the flying debris. His room was going to be a disaster! Then he gasped. Leo's room was also at the bottom of the ship. If Leo and Percy were in there…

"NO!" Jason roared, fear overwhelming his voice.

The ship crashed again, now nestled under the trees that hadn't been crushed.

"No, no, no!" muttered the blonde frantically, he zoomed down to the ship and stood unsteadily on the now mostly shattered deck. Annabeth, Piper, Hazel, and his buddy Frank were racing toward him, scanning the sight of the crash.

"Where's Percy?" Annabeth cried, her voice breaking when she realized Jason was alone.

"And Leo?" Piper added, putting a comforting hand on Annabeth's shoulder, which didn't do much to help calm her down.

Jason gave a nervous shrug. "I- I don't know."

With a look as sharp as daggers, Jason stepped back as Hazel took charge.

"Piper, stay with Annabeth," she ordered, "Frank and I will go in and search for them."

Annabeth and Piper sat down, the tall blonde girl choking out sobs of fear. It was awful. After almost losing him so many times in Tartarus, now Percy was likely dead from a horrific ship crash. Jason bit his lip and darted after Hazel and Frank, promising to do everything he can to rescue Leo and his bromance partner. He prayed to the gods the two were safe.

The Argo II was almost unrecognizable. Shelves had fallen over, glass shattered, shards of the wooden hull that had been penetrated by tree branches everywhere. They walked further and further down the hallway Jason knew Percy went into. They checked each room, afraid to move too slowly in case anyone was injured and afraid to move too quickly in case they miss someone under all the debris.

The end of the hall. The engine room.

"Percy?" Jason called, opening the door hesitantly. Hazel stood confidently behind him, putting on the brave face neither Frank or Jason could muster.

The door stopped. Jason started to force it further open, figuring there was some rubble in the way when he heard a groan. Sticking his head into the room, he saw Percy's bruised and bloodied lump curled up on the floor.

"Woah, hey," Jason started muttering quickly, backing up. Hazel, the smallest of the trio, squeezed her way in front of him through the door.

"Percy?" she said, shaking his shoulder forcefully.

Jason and Frank stuck their heads through, watching fearfully.

"Ugh," Percy groaned, and they all sighed with relief as their friend regained consciousness. "Ow…"

Hazel brushed her curls out of her face and lifted Percy up to a sitting position. "You alright?"

"Not really, I kinda hurt," he grunted quietly, then blinked, "Where's Fire Boy?"

"Leo? We haven't found him. You mean you don't know where he is, though?"

Percy shook his head weakly, his voice barely audible.

"No idea."
