Lucifer was still being pinned by the mystery woman and was still in shock about her shouting that she was his daughter. He said to her, "That's impossible." The mystery woman scoffed, "And yet here I am." "That's not what I mean," Lucifer said. "You say that you are my child. But one, I have never met you before." The mystery woman interrupted, "Well, I guess that's what happens when you abandon your child before she's even born." "Let me finish," Lucifer demanded. "Two, you can't be my child because I already have a child. And you are not that child." The mystery woman was confused, "What are you talking about?"

She was suddenly removed from Lucifer and thrown far across the room and collided with the wall, falling to the ground. Lucifer gasped as he brushed himself off and got the handkerchief from his jacket pocket to wipe away the blood on his neck. Standing at the balcony window was Carlos, with his hand raised towards the mystery woman as he had used his telekinesis to get her off of Lucifer. He shouted at her, "You will not harm my father!" The mystery woman was shocked at this. Lucifer said, "Carlos, thank me you're here." The mystery woman stood up, her wings now pointing at Carlos, "So, you're Carlos. You don't scare me. And you can't be his son. I'm his only child." Carlos scoffed, "Sorry, lady. I don't know what makes you think that you're his child, but I'm his son. His heir. And you messed with the wrong person." Carlos unfurled his wings, to which the mystery woman was shocked again. Carlos smirked, "Anymore proof for you?" The mystery woman growled and charged in at Carlos and the two started to fight. Lucifer stood there shouting, "Carlos, be careful. You don't know what she's….." But Carlos quickly got the upper hand and had her pinned to the ground. "Capable of," Lucifer finished.

Carlos glared down at the mystery woman while his eyes glowed red and he commanded, "Stand down. This fight is over." The mystery woman's body obeyed his command as Carlos got off of her. Carlos took a few steps backwards and commanded, "Stand up. We need to talk." The mystery woman did as she was commanded. Lucifer walked over to Carlos and said, "Well done, son." The mystery woman growled, "Lucifer, look me in the eyes and tell me. Tell me I'm not your daughter! Tell me that this kid is not your son!" Lucifer looked into her eyes. He felt something, but ignored it and sighed, "I don't believe this. Well, I'm sorry, but you can't be my daughter. And Carlos here is my son. My heir." The mystery woman unfurled her wings again but Dan charged through Lucifer and Carlos and shouted, "Boo!" The mystery woman was distracted and Carlos shouted, "Stand down!" The mystery woman did just that as Lucifer said, "Look, I'm sorry that your father abandoned you. Truly. I know how painful that is, but I promise you, you are not my daughter. And whether you want to believe it or not, Carlos is my only child." The mystery woman scoffed, "You know what? I'm actually glad you abandoned me. Wouldn't want you to be my dad anyway. As for you, Carlos, you can have him. Although don't count on getting any love from him." Before Carlos could say anything to her, she disappeared into the wind.

Lucifer sighed, "Who was that? And how's it possible there's an angel I've never met?" Carlos noticed one of the mystery woman's dagger feathers on the floor and picked it up, "If she actually is your daughter, then why didn't you know about her? Remember, you didn't know about me until I showed up on your doorstep. And she does look older than me, so maybe she's technically your heir and not me. Also, she didn't know who I was. And she seemed shocked to discover that I'm your son. Like she thought she was an only child. I think we need to find out who she is."

"I don't know, but you're welcome." They turned to see Dan standing there. Carlos said, "Yeah, so, Dan, you're a ghost now?" Dan nodded, "Yeah. I mean, I can't touch anything here. So yep, I'm a ghost. But thank my lucky stars that you two are here now." "Wait," Lucifer interrupted. "What did you mean by "you'e welcome"?" "Well," Dan explained. "I warned you, Lucifer, about that woman. So, beam me up!" Lucifer sighed, "Oh, Daniel. You know that I want to help you, but we've been through this before. That's not how is works!" "Yeah, I know," Dan replied. "I know it's all about my own guilt, but I figured it out, man. You see, I was feeling guilty for betraying you to Michael, but I just saved your life and your son's life, so even-steven. Huh? Up we go!" Lucifer didn't move so Dan asked, "Why am I still here?" Lucifer sighed, "Well, you must feel guilty about something else." Dan retorted, "Or maybe you actually have no idea how any of this works." Lucifer scoffed, "As former ruler of hell, and soon to be ruler of the full monty, I believe I'm the only one who knows how any of this works." "Really?" Dan retorted. "Well, you had no idea that you were able to bring up to Earth, and yet here I am, in the flesh. Kind of." "Of course I knew that," Lucifer argued. "I just didn't think it was for the best." "So you did know?" Dan asked. "And yet you still left me in ping pong purgatory to return Belios' pathetic backhand for thousands of years?" "Exactly," Lucifer said. Dan scoffed, "Wow. You know what, man? You have no idea what's right for me. You stay away from me." Dan walked away and disappeared. Carlos asked, "So what do you want to do about all of this?" Lucifer answered, "I need to see if she was right."

The next morning, Lucifer was getting dressed while Carlos was down in the guest suite. Carlos felt that even though the mystery woman attacked himself and Lucifer, he sensed that she was telling the truth, or at least what she thought was the truth. So Lucifer said that since they had a long day, they should get some rest. Plus, Lucifer felt that he needed to figure this out on his own. So Lucifer was going to head out before Carlos woke up.

But then Chloe arrived at the penthouse and before Lucifer could greet her, Chloe went off, "So, since we went to Hell, I've been thinking a lot about Heaven. Like, all night. And since you're finally ready to become God and I will be your partner up there, I have a few questions. Do you have a second?" "I was just on my way to see Amenadiel," Lucifer replied. But Chloe kept going, "OK, so number one. Time goes much faster in Hell than it does on Earth, so it is the same in Heaven? I mean, say I'm up there for a year. How long am I gone on Earth, for, like, a minute? And then number two, if that is the case, would Trixie even notice if I'm gone for the day? Because I've just been so nervous to talk to her about his, you know, the Heaven of all of it. And then speaking of teleportation…." "We were speaking of teleportation?" Lucifer asked. Chloe continued, "Are you even gonna have time to fly me up and down every time, or are you gonna, what, blink your eyes and beam me up whenever you want to?" Lucifer sighed, "Why does everyone think "beaming up" is a thing? Look, everything is going to be fine. Like I keep saying, when I'm God, I will figure things out." Chloe nodded, "OK. I'm sorry. I just, you know, I have no idea what to expect. As you know, when I get nervous, I investigate." Lucifer chuckled, "I know you do, Detective. But there's nothing to be scared about, I promise. I'll be right there beside you."

Chloe took a deep breath, "I can't believe this is finally happening." But Chloe noticed that Lucifer had a look on his face and asked, "What's wrong?" Lucifer answered, "I just need to take care of a little misunderstanding first." "What happened?" Chloe asked. "Is it Dan? Did you find him?" "No," Lucifer answered. "Daniel is…He's fine. No, this is something else, which will be cleared up in no time, and then we will be off to Heaven. And we will figure things out together. And I'll get to say goodbye to Carlos before we go. OK?" Chloe nodded and Lucifer left the penthouse.

Lucifer went straight to Linda's house, where Amenadiel was cleaning up some of Charlie's toys. Lucifer burst through the front door, "Brother! Why haven't you answered my calls? There has been a catastrophic miscarriage of justice." Amenadiel asked, "Is this another excuse to put off bring God?" Lucifer replied, "No, this is about some rando angel flying around, accusing me of being her father. Which doesn't make sense as I only have one child, Carlos." Amenadiel looked up, "An angel that we don't know about. Describe her." Lucifer sighed, "Well, I don't know. Early 20s. Resting mean face. Loves blaming others. Combative, rebellious, and says that I abandoned her. And she didn't even know who Carlos was." Amenadiel thought for a moment, "Hmm. Sounds like someone I know. Maybe she is your daughter, Lucy. But you said she's in her early 20s. Then she must have been conceived before Carlos, meaning she is your heir, not Carlos." Lucifer scoffed, "Oh, please. Carlos was just in Hell with me and he most certainly proved that he's my heir. Plus, if there was an angel child here, I would have known about it. Plus, angels can't procreate." Amenadiel retorted, "And need I remind you that you didn't know that Carlos existed until almost 2 years ago. And that you conceived him and there's also your nephew."

Lucifer groaned, "Well, that's different. Carlos was conceived on a place where I was made more mortal thanks to a magical barrier. And you subconsciously wanted to get closer to humanity, so you lost your powers and made a baby. A human baby. This girl's an angel, and I may do a lot of sinful things, but incest is not on the list. Plus, even though Carlos' mother was human, she had magic, which made Carlos' celestial side stronger, which Remy boosted as his powers were suppressed most of his life." Amenadiel said, "Well, you have certainly slept with plenty of humans, so…wait a minute, you just said that you made an angel child with a human, Carlos, and he has his wings. Yes, it took Remy to get them to come out, but he still got them. So that means perhaps there's still a chance Charlie could grow up to be an angel. Maybe his wings will pop out at puberty. And hopefully not in a painful way like what happened to Carlos." Lucifer chuckled, "Oh, yes, the three signs of puberty. Acne, pubes, and wings. Can we focus on my problem, please?"

Amenadiel sighed, "Yes, yes, yes, OK. Well, Charlie appears to be growing at a normal human rate. And Carlos is growing at a normal human rate as well. So I think we can assume that this angel child would do the same. So, the only way that you could be the girl's father is if you were one Earth around 20 years ago when she was conceived. Like how you were magically summoned to the Isle of the Lost 19 years ago to conceive Carlos." "And had sex with a woman," Lucifer finished. Amenadiel said sarcastically, "I just assumed that every time you were on Earth you had sex with a woman." Lucifer smirked, "Not always a woman, brother." "True," Amenadiel replied. "Well, were you on Earth in the late '90s?" "Of course not," Lucifer answered. "Who wants to visit the '90s? Frosted tips? Dial-up? Creed? Hang on, I idid pop up to celebrate the end of the '90s. I don't remember much, like I didn't fully remember my trip to the Isle until recently, but I do remember the Falcons/Broncos Super Bowl, '99, Miami. Epic party. Lots of bodies, very few clothes." Amenadiel smirked, "It's starting to sound like congratulations are in order, again." Lucifer scoffed, "Keep the champagne corked, brother. She is not my daughter. I only have one child, and that is Carlos."

Speaking of Carlos, he finally woke up in the guest suite back at Lux. He got up and stretched. Dude woke up next to him. "So," Dude asked. "Going up to see your dad and find out if you really have a sister?" Carlos nodded, "Yeah. Hopefully we can get some answers." Carlos throw on some clothes and he and Dude entered the elevator and went up to the penthouse, but it was empty. Carlos sighed, "I had a feeling this would happen." He pulled out his mirror and said, "Mirror, mirror in my my hand, where does Lucifer Morningstar stand?" The mirror showed Lucifer, but not in a place Carlos recognize. He asked the mirror to show him where exactly he did was, and it showed him Miami. Carlos asked aloud, "Why is my dad in Miami?"

Lucifer was standing at an outside bar in Miami, determined to retrace his steps and find the potential mother of his potential daughter. He took a sip of his drink, put some sunglasses on, then walked out to start his journey.

Over at LAPD, Dan was walking around and discovered that no one could see him. He was shocked, "Wait, so nobody can see me? What's up, everybody? So no one can hear me? Can you hear me? Whoo! Whoo! Whoo! This really sucks." He looked over and saw Ella walking into her lab, "Ella. Yes! If any human can see me, you can. You're the most spiritual person I know. Yes!"

He walked into her lab and tried to get her attention, "Ella! It's me. It's Dan. Can you hear me?" Ella lifted her head, sniffed the air, and asked, "Dan, is that you?" Dan replied, "Wait, can you smell me? You recognize my Axe body wash? Is that what it is? This is great! I'm right here, look! Smell that, come on!" He flapped his jacket in her face and Ella sighed, "Oh, man. Not only does this report say that you are just a regular old bullfrog with zero traces of the supernatural, you are also stinking up my lab, Dan." She walked over and looked directly at the frog, revealing that she named it Dan. The human Dan sighed, "Thanks for the false hope, buddy. And just so you know, she only named you Dan because she misses me."

The frog was looking directly at Dan and Dan asked, "Can you see me?" Ella leaned down and whispered to the frog, "I feel it too, little guy. My sixth sense? Off the charts. It's like an M. Night Shyamalan movie up in here. I don't know what's going on, but I'm gonna figure it out." Dan looked at Ella, "It's me. Ella, it's me! That's what you're sensing. I'm right here! Ella, come on! Please!" Ella picked up the container the frog was in, "But first, you, my slimy friend, are in serious need of a spa day." She then walked right through Dan and out of her lab. Dan sighed, "Ella."

Over at Linda's house, Linda was going over flashcards that she wrote out listing major events in Lucifer's life: when he arrived in LA, when he started her therapy sessions, when he left and fake married Candy, when he killed Pierce, when he met Carlos for the first time, etc. She heard Chloe's voice outside shout, "Linda!" Linda gathered her flashcards, "Yes, hello." She gathered the cards just in time as Chloe walked in through the front door. "Hi," Linda greeted. Chloe asked, "Hey, has Lucifer stopped by?" Linda answered, "Um, I haven't seen him. Is everything OK?" Chloe replied, "Um, yeah. I'm sure it's fine. He just had to run a little errand before we start our new job in Heaven." "And you're worried he's putting it off again?" Linda asked. Chloe sighed, "No, but it's a little weird he hasn't returned my texts or calls. I mean, I'm nervous about the God thing, so maybe he is too. He's probably just off somewhere trying to deal with that. It's just, he hasn't done this since…."

"February 2, 2017," Linda interrupted. "When he disappeared to Vegas and married Candy Morningstar. But what are the chances he'd run off to Vegas and marry a stripper twice? OK, but maybe what you're really worried about is maintaining your hard fought level of communication and trust." Chloe sighed, "Yeah, I mean, our relationship, our partnership has come so far. I just don't know why he wouldn't just tell me what he's up to." Linda said, "Well, you're both past the point of guessing games. Why don't you ask him?" Chloe replied, "Right. Yes, I can….I'll just find out where he is, and, yeah, I'll just ask him. But how to locate him is the question." Linda said, "Well, doesn't Carlos have a magical mirror that can locate anyone?"

Chloe then found herself back at Lux, she felt stupid as to why she didn't ask Carlos earlier. She made her way to the guest suite, where Carlos was sitting by his computer and typing away on it. Dude was lying down at his feet. Carlos looked over at Chloe, "Oh, hey Chloe. What's up?" Chloe walked over, "What are you working on?" "Just some stuff," Carlos answered. "Trying to get some info on someone that's seems to be hard to find." "Can't you just locate this person with your mirror?" Chloe asked. Carlos sighed, "I don't know her name so the mirror can't help me. I'm trying to use technology to track her down." "Who is this her?" Chloe asked. Carlos sighed, "Did my dad tell you anything about what happened last night?" Chloe shook her head, "He just said he had something to take care of then left. I don't know where he is." Carlos got up, "I couldn't find him this morning, so I used the mirror to find him. He's in Miami." "Why?" Chloe asked. Carlos sighed, "Just don't shoot the messenger. Some mystery woman charged at my dad last night claiming to be his daughter and I think he's trying to find out who her birth mother is." Chloe got pissed, "What?"

Down in Miami, Lucifer was talking with Maze on the phone, and Maze said, "So I just sent you the info you wanted, but you gotta tell me what this is about. Call it a finder's fee." Lucifer sighed, "A young lady playing "Pin the tail on the daddy" picked me as the ass." Maze chuckled, "Well, good thing you're shooting blanks, or you'd have more than just Carlos running around? Although Carlos is a special case. But you still managed to orgy it up with 36 people." "It was Y2K!" Lucifer argued. "People were getting jiggy with it left, right and center. Anyway, did you manage to locate the women who gave birth to daughters nine months later?" Maze replied, "Yeah, addresses for the four woman are in your inbox. Numero uno is the only one still in Miami. A dance teacher. Ana Christina Perez Del Rio." Lucifer smirked, "Excellent. All I have to do is verify that none of those women's daughters are the girl that showed up at the penthouse, then it'll be clear. There's no way that kid is mine. I only have one kid, Carlos." Maze asked, "Speaking of which, why aren't you asking him to help you with this?" Lucifer sighed, "This is my past, and I don't want to bring Carlos into it. He already had to fight crazy angel lady off. Kid deserves a break. See you later."

He hung up and went to the first three women on the list, one in Miami, one in New Mexico, and one in Seattle. After talking with them, they all told him that he was not the father of any of their daughters. Even showed him pictures and none of them looked like the mystery woman. Lucifer was relieved, but got defensive when they said that he wasn't father material. He said that he actually was a father to a wonderful son, Carlos, and all three women were shocked to hear that. The woman in Seattle even tried to have sex with him, but Lucifer turned her down. It was at this place where Chloe and Carlos stood outside the woman's home and Chloe was pissed. Carlos told the woman, "Lady, put your robe back on and leave my dad alone!" The woman obeyed, but said, "So, you're Lucifer's son. I see the resemblance."

Chloe walked away in anger as Lucifer followed her, Carlos briskly following. Chloe said, "I can't believe you were halfway across the country, and you didn't even tell me. I had to ask your son where you were. First Miami, then New Mexico, now here in Seattle. I mean, with everything between us, I thought you were better than this." "Better than what?" Lucifer asked. Chloe answered, "Than running off again. What'd you marry her too?" Lucifer argued, "I'm just here to prove she's not the mother of my illegitimate child." Chloe stopped, "Yeah, I know. Carlos told me about the woman who attacked you last night." "Yes," Lucifer replied. "And she is deeply confused since Carlos is my only child, my heir, and while I'm on this Earth, I can't have children. So, we're all good now, right?" "No," Chloe said. "No, we're not all good. All this talk about being partners. Why would you keep this from me?" Lucifer sighed, "I didn't see the need to upset you." "I'm not upset," Chloe argued.

But then they heard glass crack and Carlos said, "Ah, Chloe, I think you cracked your phone." Indeed, her phone was cracked in multiple places. Lucifer said, "Well, your super strength is suggesting otherwise. Look, I am sorry. I should have told you." Chloe sighed, "Just promise me, no more secrets, OK?" Lucifer nodded, "Absolutely, I promise. Good news is, there's only one woman left on the list, so…" Chloe asked, "What list?" Lucifer groaned as Carlos chuckled, "Well, I think I'll leave this to you two. I'm going to head back to Lux." Lucifer turned around, "Wait, you aren't mad for me not telling you?" Carlos sighed, "A little. But I get why. You wanted to do this on your own. But now you have Chloe to help you. My focus is finding where the mystery woman went. I doubt that she left LA. So I'm trying to track her down. You two just focus on locating the last woman on your list. Keep your phone on you in case I call or something." Carlos unfurled his wings and disappeared.

Over at Lux, Dan had made his way back to the penthouse, "Lucifer, Carlos, are you two still here?" He heard Maze shout, "Oh, no. This is giving me, like, generic demon bounty hunter vibes. I wanna feel special." He looked over and saw Maze trying on wedding outfits with a tailor standing next to her. Dan sighed, "Oh, Maze! Thank God. I have been looking for someone to talk to all day. I mean, I went to visit Ella. Of course, she couldn't see me. But I mean, you can see me, right, Maze?" He waved her hand in front of her, but she didn't react. Dan sighed, "I don't get it. Dan the stupid frog can see me, but you can't. Can somebody please, please just tell me the rules?" Maze said to the tailor, "No, way less peg on the ankle, Milan. I don't wanna look like Dan." Milan chuckled, "Oh, yes, that would be a tragedy." Maze sighed, "Poor guy. His pants were always so tight." Dan scoffed, "That's all you have to say, huh? The first time anyone said anything about me since I got back, except to name a stupid frog after me, is to take a dump on my fashion sense? Well, you know what? I am glad you can't see me! And another thing! Everybody knows that LA is way too hot for leather!" He then stormed out of the penthouse.

Meanwhile, Carlos had returned to the guest suite where Dude ran up to him, "So, how did it go?" Carlos sighed, "Chloe's pissed and my dad is an idiot. But he's determined to get to the bottom of this mystery daughter thing. He wants to find the potential mother." "Why aren't you helping then?" Dude asked. Carlos answered, "I want to track this woman down. To see if she really is my sister. But finding her is going to be a problem. I don't know her name so using the mirror is out." Dude ran over and picked up the dagger feather and brought it to Carlos and asked, "What about this?" Carlos picked it up, "Maybe I could use this to track her down." He pulled out the mirror, "Mirror mirror in my hand, where does the owner of this feather stand?" The mirror showed the mystery woman standing on the top of a building and Carlos could see the sad look in her eyes. Carlos sighed, "I need to go talk to her. She deserves to be heard so that we can solve this mystery."

Lucifer and Chloe had tracked down the final woman on the list at a Jewish temple in Boston where a baby baptism was being performed. Lucifer and Chloe snuck inside and Lucifer whispered, "I haven't been to a bris since little baby Sigmund's." "Really?" Chloe asked. Lucifer nodded, "Yes, the mohel made a Freudian snip." Chloe asked, "So Maze said the last person on the list works here?" Lucifer nodded, "Esther Barnum. And there she is." Chloe saw Esther standing at the alter, "Well, a rabbi. I can see why you two would have a special connection." Lucifer chuckled, "No, our special connection lasted about 15 very shallow minutes. I doubt I even made an impression."

"Lucifer!" Lucifer and Chloe turned to see Esther running up and she hugged Lucifer. Esther pulled away, "I have waited 22 years to tell you how much you changed my life." "Uh, for the worse?" Lucifer guessed. Esther chuckled, "No! You left a mark on my soul. You're the reason I became a rabbi." "Oh," Lucifer replied. "Because I brought out your deepest desires. It could've happened to anyone. Yes, it's lovely to see you again, Esther. Um, if you wouldn't mind showing us a photograph of your daughter….not in a creepy way, then we'll be off." "Is this about Mira?" Esther asked. "Have you heard from her? Did you find her?" Chloe asked, "Um, did something happen to her?" Esther explained, "She ran away, five years ago. I even hired a private detective. This is one of the last pictures I have of her." She showed a picture on her phone, and it wasn't the mystery woman. Lucifer said, "Oh, well, that settles it. I'll take "I'm not the father" for 200 please, Alex." Chloe sighed, "You barely even looked at the photo." Lucifer replied, "I don't need to, because the girl in my penthouse had pink streaks in her hair, heavy eyeliner, angry eyebrows." "That sounds like Mira," Esther interrupted. "It does?" Lucifer asked. Esther explained, "She was always a troubled girl. Upset a lot. Ans she always wanted to dye her hair."

"Why did Mira run away?" Chloe asked. "She was looking for her father," Esther answered. "And you named me as the unlucky chap?" Lucifer asked. Esther sighed, "To be honest, I don't know who her dad is. I was a different person back then." "Me too," Lucifer agreed. Esther continued, "I tried to be enough for Mira, but she wanted answers. Missing a child, it's like missing a part of yourself that can never be replaced." Chloe replied, "Well, as a mother myself, I can't imagine what you're through. We will help you find your daughter." She gave a look to Lucifer, who added, "Oh, absolutely. Uh, your daughter, who definitely isn't my daughter."

Over at Lux, Dan had made his way to the club, sighing as all the humans there couldn't see him. He looked over and saw Amenadiel sitting at a table reading a book. Dan walked over to him, "Amenadiel. You're an angel. You can see me, right?" Amenadiel didn't reply so Dan continued, "Amenadiel! Please, come on, man! I just want my friends back. Amenadiel!" He sunk to his knees, "This sucks!"

Amenadiel then looked up, taking earbuds out of his ears, "Dan? Is that you?" Amenadiel stood up and walked over to Dan, who stood up, "Wait, you can see me?" Amenadiel asked, "Wait, did Lucifer bring you up here?" "No!" Dan answered. "Some crazy, psycho, punk rock angel did." Amenadiel replied, "Oh, I heard about her." Dan said, "Yeah, man, she just left me here. She left me here without explaining any of the stupid rules." Amenadiel asked, "Well, what have you been doing, man? I mean, have you seen Trixie? Chloe?" Dan shook his head, "No, no man. You know, I kind of wanted to figure out what a ghost really meant first, you know? I mean, I didn't wanna give Trixie a coronary, popping out of the bathroom mirror or something. Wait, were you studying police procedure?" Amenadiel nodded, "Yeah, man, I made it into the Academy, thanks to you." "What?" Dan replied. Amenadiel chuckled, "Yeah, it meant a lot to me, you submitting my application." Dan chuckled, "That's great, man. That's great." Amenadiel said, "Hey, I'm so sorry about getting upset with you before. You know, I've been feeling so bbad about the fight that we had right before you…." Amenadiel couldn't say it so Dan did, "Died?" Amenadiel sighed, "Yeah. Yeah, man." Dan replied, "I've been feeling bad about that too, man." Amenadiel said, "That's why I didn't come visit you." Dan interrupted, "You don't have to explain. I love you, man." They tried to hug, but Amenadiel went right through Dan, "Right. You're a soul without a body." Dan sighed, "Yep, and I guess only angels can see me."

"What's up, Dan?" They turned to see Maze standing there. Dan was confused, "Wait, what? Wait, you can actually see me now?" Maze chuckled, "Yeah, I could see you all along. Duh, it's me." Dan laughed, "Damn it, Maze. I might've figured this out earlier if you hadn't screwed with me." Amenadiel said, "Demon love. It's so confusing." Maze playfully hit Amenadiel on the arm, "Yeah. You should know." Dan said, "Oh, man, I'm just so happy I can actually talk to you guys." Amenadiel replied, "I don't know why Lucifer didn't bring you back, man, but it's great to see you, Dan." Maze added, "Yeah, we really missed you, bro." Dan smiled, "I missed you guys too." They tried to high five, but their hands went right through each other. "Shit, yeah." Maze said.

Meanwhile, Lucifer flew Chloe to a deserted area at a gas station in central California. He landed and gently let Chloe down, "Thank you for flying Lucifer Airways. Please ensure your table is in the upright position. I know mine is." Lucifer walked in the direction of the gas station when Chloe asked, "Hey, Lucifer, have you flown anyone else before?" Lucifer answered, "Only Maze. Oh, and Amenadiel once. He killed a goose with his face, Fabio-style. It was the highlight of my day. Oh, if it's any consolation, it's much more romantic with you in my arms."

Chloe sighed, "Yeah, it's just, I've been thinking…" "About other things we can try in midair?" Lucifer interrupted. "Yes, me too." Chloe shook her head, "No, about how you've been keeping all this from me 'cause you didn't wanna upset me." "That's what I said, yes," Lucifer replied. Chloe continued, "OK, well, you know, it took you a while to realize your feelings for me. So, maybe way deep down you know that you and Esther have a thing together. I mean, it's looking pretty possible that you actualized a child with her." "Mira is not my daughter," Lucifer said. Chloe sighed, "OK, but if you and Esther did have a thing, it's totally fine. Totally OK. Not like I didn't have any relationships before you. You know, I was married to Dan. And you literally had a child with Cruella De Vil. So, just so you know, you can tell me about it." "About Cruella?" Lucifer asked. "No, Esther," Chloe answered. "I know that there were no feelings between you and Cruella. You and Carlos made that pretty clear."

Lucifer sighed, "Right. Well, there has and never will be anything between Esther and I, OK?" "OK," Chloe replied. "Well, then why do I feel like you're still keeping secrets from me?" "What secrets?" Lucifer retorted. "You know everything. A young woman accused me of being her father and then rage-flew away." Chloe was confused, "What? She's an angel? Why wouldn't you tell me that?" Lucifer sighed, "Well, my son's an angel, well half angel, so I thought you would get that. Plus, I must have been distracted, what with the death threats and Daniel coming back to Earth." Chloe was shocked, "What? Dan is on Earth?" Lucifer sighed, "Yes, but he's a ghost so you can't see him anyway." Chloe said, "OK, I thought we were past the point of keeping secrets. But you clearly cannot help yourself. What is that? I mean, I gave up everything. I gave up everything to be your partner." "We are past keeping secrets," Lucifer argued. "Then why wouldn't you tell me that you have a daughter?" Chloe asked. Lucifer shouted, "Because it isn't true! I can't keep a secret if I don't know what the secret is! Plus, I have a child and he's my only child! Also, if this Mira is my daughter, then Carlos would have been here as well as he's tracking the angry woman right now!" "But you keep keeping secrets!" Chloe shouted back. "And just because you have one child that you didn't know about until almost 2 years ago doesn't mean that you don't have a daughter! And maybe Carlos is tracking her too, but we can all find her!"

They both were panting trying to catch their breaths from shouting. Lucifer sighed, "Look, I know you're upset. But right now I think we need to focus on why we're here, OK?" Chloe nodded solemnly, "Yes, let's focus on why we're here." "Right," Lucifer replied. Chloe then said, "So the PI that Esther hired said that he'd heard Mira had worked here, but the trail went cold." Lucifer replied, "So, let's find out why, shall we?" Chloe walked past him to the gas station, and Lucifer sighed, following behind her.

They went inside and Chloe went up to the man behind the desk, "Hi, there. Excuse me, sir. Have you, um, seen this girl?" She held up her phone with a picture of Mira. "No," the man answered. Chloe sighed, "Uh, it might have been a while ago. "I can't help you," the man said. Lucifer replied, "Well, she's much angsiter-looking now. Uh, bits of pink in her hair. We're told that she used to work here." "No," the man said. "What about at the diner?" Chloe asked. "No," the man said. Chloe asked, "Well, could she have maybe have worked out there, at the avocado stand?" The man shook his head, "No, I ran those dirty hippies over a year ago. Ain't seen them since. Good riddance. If you've run out of questions, I'm busy." Lucifer retorted, "Well, actually, Billy-Bob, I…." Chloe picked up a avocado container, "No, You know, we will take one of these. And thank you so much for your time." Lucifer was confused while Chloe paid for the item.

They walked outside and Lucifer said, "I was just about to mojo him." Chloe replied, "I didn't wanna tip him off." "What are we tipping?" Lucifer asked. Chloe explained, "He said that he hadn't seen anyone from the avocado farm in a year. If that's the case, then why is he selling this?" The container had the same logo as on the stand. "Holy guacamole," Lucifer said. "He was lying to us. It's theirs." Chloe replied, "Hide one truth, you're probably hiding something else." Chloe gave him a look as Lucifer said, "Well, I wonder what that something else is." Chloe nodded, "Looks like we have some hippies to find."

They located the hippies a few miles away. Lucifer commented, "Very "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood", isn't it?" They walked up to some girls and Lucifer said, "Hello there. We're just looking for a young lady, about 21, 22 years old. Goes by the name of Mira." The girls ran into the tent where other young adults were hiding as Chloe said, "We have a photo of her here, if you wanna come take a look. No one's in trouble. Promise. We're just worried about her."

One girl popped her head out, "Did you say Mira?" She started to come out of the tent, but then the man from the gas station drove up, got out of his car, and pulled a gun out, "All right, I'm gonna grant you two seconds to get off my property!" Lucifer replied, "I'd point that somewhere else if I were you. You don't know who you're dealing with." The man asked, "What, you cops or something?" Lucifer replied, "Well, actually, I'm about to be Supreme Being and she's about to be First Lady to all things." The man said, "If you ain't cops, get the hell off my land or I call the cops." Chloe retorted, "I'll call social services. I'm sure they'd love to see what's going on around here." The man shook his head, "Everyone's here by choice." "Is that so?" Lucifer retorted. "Let's ask them, shall we? Tell me, young lady, what is it you desire?" The girl answered, 'I wanna go home!" The man shouted, "Shut up! Get back inside!"

The girl ran inside the tent as Lucifer growled, "How dare you treat these children this way!" He started to walk to the man, who said, "I've shot trespassers before. I'll do it again." Lucifer's eyes glowed red as the man shot Lucifer, who flew back a couple feet. Chloe knelt down next to him, "Lucifer!" Lucifer shot up and Chloe said, "Oh, my God, are you OK?" Lucifer nodded, "What, yeah. I'm fine, but this Neanderthal has soiled my Di Stefano."

Suddenly more men stalked over and Lucifer asked, "You don't still have Amenadiel's necklace, do you?" Chloe showed him that she did and soon the fight started. Between the two of them, they took down each man easily. Lucifer took the lead man and tossed his gun to Chloe, who spilt it over her knee, and Lucifer threw him onto his truck and said, "Now their parents can't protect them, so you'll have to deal with me!" Chloe walked over, "OK, Lucifer, put him down." Lucifer ignored her and asked, "What did you do with Mira? Did you hurt her too?" The man stuttered, "She's not here." "Then where is she?" Lucifer asked. "Tell me! If my own son was here, you'd be dead right now!" Chloe put her hand on Lucifer's shoulder, "It's OK. We got him." Lucifer pulled away, "Then where is she?" "We will find her," Chloe said.

Chloe called the police and social services. Police cars and ambulances were surrounding the place and Chloe finished talking with an officer. She walked up to Lucifer, "So, most of the kids are runaways. They were forced to work in the orchards. They weren't able to leave or call their friends or families." "What's gonna happen to them?" Lucifer asked. "Be reconnected with loved ones or find safe homes," Chloe answered. Lucifer nodded, "Right. Well, there's no sign of Mira. Perhaps she didn't end up here, after all." But then Lucifer remembered the girl who recognized the name Mira.

He ran over and found the girl in the tent packing up and Lucifer saw a painting hanging up, "This drawing." Chloe held up the photo of Mira, who was holding a similar drawing, "It's almost identical to the one in the photo." Lucifer asked the girl, "Did Mira draw it? Mira, the girl that I'm looking for, did she draw this picture?" Chloe added, "We don' mean Mira any harm, but she was here, wasn't she?" The girl nodded and Lucifer asked, "Do you know where she is now?" The girl answered, "Um, she met a guy online. She ran away to be with him." Lucifer sighed, "Oh, wonderful. She goes from a cult to a relationship with an online stranger. I don't know what's worse." Chloe then asked, "Do you know the guy's name?" The girl thought about it, "Um, Rob Daniell, I think. Mira mentioned something about San Francisco." Chloe nodded, "OK, great. Thank you." Chloe walked out and Lucifer said, "If you need anything, anything at all, just say a little prayer. I plan to be a boots on the ground type of God." Lucifer exited the tent, leaving the girl standing there confused.

Carlos was about to leave the guest suite at Lux, having fully tracked the mystery woman down when his phone went off. Carlos answered it, "Hello? Hey, Chloe. Oh, you want me to track someone. Rob Daniell. Ok, hold on." He ran over to his computer and typed away and using his skills he found him, "OK, Chloe. I found him in San Francisco. I'm going to send you his address. I'm due for the full story on this later. OK, bye." He hung up and said to Dude, "OK, Dude, I'll be back later. The mystery woman and I need to have a talk." He unfurled his wings and disappeared.

Chloe meanwhile walked over to Lucifer, "So, I called Carlos and he tracked Rob Daniell down in San Francisco and gave me his address." "Thank you, Carlos," Lucifer said. "Now, shall we?" Chloe sighed, "Well, um, I'll forward you the address, but I think maybe you should go on your own." Lucifer asked, "You're not still mad out Esther, are you?" Chloe shook her head, "No, I thought you were hiding feelings for Esther, but I saw you back there. How you reacted. I've seen the same reaction when it comes to Carlos. I think I know why you were so scared. You think that Mira might actually be your daughter, don't you?" Lucifer sighed, "Honestly, I don't know. Part of me says yes, but another part of me says no. If yes, then that means that somehow I made myself mortal to conceive her, which I don't know how. It means that Carlos is not my firstborn. And it means that I let all of this happen to her. But I think no because of everything else around that angry girl from the penthouse. If she had wings, then she wouldn't have been trapped here. But even if she isn't my daughter, I still want to finish this. It's the least I can do for Esther." Chloe said, "So you're unsure. OK then. Daughter or not, you go to San Francisco and finish this then. Who knows? Maybe she didn't have wings while she was here. And maybe you'll meet up with Carlos in San Francisco. Although it sounded like he was at Lux when I called him. So since you started this, I will let you finish this. For some sort of closure. Whatever it ends up being." Lucifer walked up to Chloe, "Chloe, I want you to know that never have I loved someone as much as I love you. With Carlos being a close second." He leaned in a kissed her. Pulling back, he said, "I'll see you later then." He unfurled his wings and took off for San Francisco.

Lucifer landed at the San Francisco address Chloe forwarded him. He knocked on the door and fixed his jacket to cover up the tear. The door opened to reveal Rob. Lucifer glared at him, "Pervert. What are you, 72?" Rob was confused, "I don't know what's going on, but for the recored, I'm 43." He tried to close the door, but Lucifer held the door open, "Where is she?" Rob shouted, "Hey, get out of my house!" Lucifer stormed past him, "Mira!"

A girl came running out asking, "Dad?" Lucifer saw her and knew, "You're not the girl from my penthouse. Knew it." Rob walked over and asked, "Who are you? And I'm gonna call the cops if you don't leave me and my daughter alone." Lucifer was confused, "You're Mira's father? I thought you were some basement-dweller, cat fishing young ladies on the Internet. I owe the both of you an apology. This is an embarrassing mistake. Mira? Call your mother. She's worried about you. She's the reason I'm here." "She is?" Mira asked. "I thought about contacting her a million times, but I was so angry when I ran away. I said such awful things, I just, I didn't think she wanted to see me." "She never stopped looking for you," Lucifer replied. "And as a father myself, I would do the same thing." Mira smiled, "I'll call her today."

Lucifer turned to leave, but Mira asked, "Wait, how do you know my mother?" Lucifer answered, "Uh, there's a chance I thought I might owe her 18 years of child support due to 15 shallow minutes at a Super Bowl orgy." Rob sighed while Mira said, "You must be Lucifer Morningstar. I spent years looking into the men who could have been my father, and you're the only one I couldn't find." "Well, that's because I was in Hell," Lucifer said honestly. "Not exactly on Google Maps, is it? But I'm glad that you found your real father." Rob said, "The best day of my life when she showed up on my doorstep. Well, not at first, to be honest. I thought I was being scammed." "I completely understand," Lucifer replied. "My son showed up on my doorstep almost two years ago and although he didn't tell me he was my son right away, he still asked for my help. And when he did tell me, I didn't want to believe him at first. But my mind changed afterwards. What changed your mind? How did you realize that she was yours?" Rob answered, "I think it was the first moment I looked into her eyes. Just felt it in my gut. Was it the same for you?" Lucifer nodded, "Yes, I felt it in my gut." But he was also thinking back to when he looked the mystery woman in the eyes and he felt it.

Carlos had flown over to where he tracked the mystery woman down, on a rooftop in LA. He noticed that she had a sad look on her face and he landed quietly behind her. She heard him and quickly stood up and Carlos commanded, "Don't go. Please. I just want to talk. Not fight." The mystery woman obeyed and didn't move. Carlos cautiously walked up to her, "Now, maybe we can start by introducing ourselves. Or reintroducing ourselves. I'm Carlos. What's your name?" The mystery woman didn't answer so Carlos sighed, "Please, I just want to understand you. Don't make me command you." The mystery woman answered, "Rory. My name's Rory." Carlos smiled, "OK, Rory. Now, can you tell me why you want to kill my dad?" "Because he abandoned me!" Rory shouted. "I don't know why he did. Maybe because he had you. He only seems to care about you. Or maybe he will abandon you too." Carlos sighed, "Rory, I don't think you know the entire picture of what's going on. Honestly, he didn't even know that you existed. Heck, he didn't know that I existed until 2 years ago." "So he did abandon you," Rory guessed. Carlos shook his head, "No, you're not listening. My dad didn't even know that I was his son until 2 years ago. He never knew that he conceived a son. Like he didn't know that he conceived you."

Rory didn't say anything back so Carlos said, "Look, I'm just trying to figure out what your deal is. I want to know if you really are my sister. Like Lucifer is trying to figure out if you are his daughter. Trust me, Lucifer doesn't handle this stuff well. He didn't with me at first. Just give him time." Rory huffed, "I don't want to give him time. I want to end him for what he did to me. To my mom. I don't trust him. Or you. I didn't even know that Lucifer had a son. I've never heard of you before. So why should I trust you?" "You shouldn't," Carlos said. "I get it. I honestly don't trust you right now. But that's because I have trust issues. If you grew up like I did, you'd get it. All I am saying is that don't go charging into this when you clearly don't know everything. Just give it time. Like I am slowly trying to trust you. OK?" Rory sighed, "Fine. I'll back off. For now." Carlos smiled, "Good." Rory then said, "Maybe I'll go see my mother in the meantime." Before Carlos could ask who her mother was, she unfurled her wings and disappeared. Carlos sighed, "Well, at least I calmed her down a bit. I want to trust her, but something still feels off about her. But why?"

Dan meanwhile was sulking around. He had gone by to Chloe's house and saw Chloe hugging a crying Trixie, and Trixie sobbed, "I miss my daddy." Chloe replied, "I know you do." They held each other with Dan watching from outside. Saddened, he made his way back to Lucifer's penthouse and found Lucifer drinking his whiskey in solitude. He walked up to Lucifer and demanded, "Take me back." Lucifer turned around and asked, "Take you back where?" "To Hell," Dan replied. "I know why you didn't bring me up here, Lucifer. Seeing Chloe, seeing Trixie and not being able to hug them, it's worse than Hell. Just please, please take me back." Lucifer sighed, "Daniel, I'm so sorry, but once you reached the mortal plane, you became intangible. I can't carry you back, even if I wanted to. And I do, believe me." "So what, I'm just stuck here?" Dan asked. Lucifer sadly nodded.

Dan scoffed, "I could kill the stupid angel who brought me up here." "Don't blame her," Lucifer sternly told Dan. "She was just looking for me." "Yeah," Dan replied. "To kill you." Lucifer shook her head, "No, I'm not sure she knows the whole story. And neither do I, for that matter, because if I'd known she existed, there's no way I, well, let's just say I know better than anyone what it's like to grow up with an absent father. Carlos had to go through that and I hate it that I wasn't there for him. Now I feel the same about her." Dan was confused, "Lucifer, are you saying what I think you're saying?" Lucifer said, "When I stared into her eyes, it was so familiar. Like I knew her. And I realized that I feel the same way when I look into Carlos' eyes. She's my daughter." Dan replied, "Wow, that's great man. Congratulations. I mean, having a daughter, it's the best. And Carlos has a sister." Lucifer sighed, "I think I may well have screwed my chance of making things up with her by acting like an utter dick. I hope Carlos found her and talked to her. He's always been good with people. I haven't." Dan replied, "Yeah, but you gotta try, man. I mean, if there's one thing that I've learned coming back is that you gotta take advantage of the time you have with your kids before it all goes away. I know you know this. I seen you with Carlos. You care about him. You can do the same with your daughter. And you're lucky because she's still out there. Wherever Carlos found her. Go talk to Carlos and ask him where she is and go get her." Lucifer nodded, "I will. I know Carlos found her somewhere."

Carlos landed on the balcony of the guest suite and Dude ran up to him, "Did you find her?" Carlos nodded, "Yeah. And I talked to her. Her name is Rory. She at least listened to me for a bit before she flew off. I think I calmed her down a bit. But she said that she was going to visit her mom. Whoever that is." "Well," Dude said. "Find out who her mom is. Since Lucifer tried and since he returned, I guess he didn't find the mother." Carlos nodded, pulled out the mirror, and asked the mirror to find Rory. The mirror showed him, but Carlos was surprised at where she was and who she was hugging. "Wow," Carlos said. "This raises so many questions."

A few minutes earlier, Chloe was closing the door to Trixie's room and walked over to the kitchen when she felt something. Like someone was here with her. "Lucifer?" Chloe whispered. "Dan?" But no one answered and Chloe sighed a deep sigh. She turned and Rory was behind her. Chloe gasped, "Who are you?" Rory had unshed tears in her eyes and surprised Chloe by hugging her. "Hi, Mom," Rory said. Chloe was shocked, "Mom?"

And Carlos had just seen this play out on his mirror and said, "Chloe's her mom?"
