Author's Note:

I have a couple of big announcements to make, one good and one bad.

Bad announcement: (dramatic piano music)

Next week I have to restart the auto heads and I will be busy for some time and the next chapters will be published more

Good announcement: (drum sound)

Ladies and gentlemen of all ages, I have an important announcement to make that can decide the fate of this story.

In the last few chapters I mentioned a serious problem, Worm's enemies are few and repetitive.

Iron-Star defeated the Merchants, only empire 88, ABB and Coil remain. Other possible threats Emma Barnes aka Morgana, The Dragonslayer, Slaughterhouse Nine, Endbringers.

We've heard this formula hundreds of times, I want to be Original and introduce enemies never seen before in Worm.

First option to invent mediocre OCs or OPs, which I don't think I can do in a short time.

Second option, Jump-chan feels jealous that Lady-Forge is copying her game, so she teases him.

Send 13 villains from different worlds to harass the champion of Lady-Forge.

Whoever manages to make Iron-Star surrender the key to the Celestial Forge of his own free will or kills him and takes the key for himself, receives an incredible prize, a Jumper trip across the Omniverse.

I leave it to you to choose the candidates for the 13 [Name of the group of bad guys in the works], using this list to vote.

World Number One - Ultimate Spider-Man: [Deadpool], [Kraven], [Doctor Octopus].

World Number Two - Marvel Universe: [Magneto], [Venom], [Sabretooth].

World Number Three - Batman: Arkham: [Bane], [Poison Ivy], [Arkham Knight].

World Number Four - DC Universe: [Zoom], [Deathstroke], [Joker and Harley Quinn].

World Number Six - Ben 10: [Vilgax], [Kevin 11], [Malware].

World Number Seven - RWBY: [Cinder Fall], [Roman Torchwick], [Adam Taurus].

World Number Eight - Generator Rex: [Van Kleiss], [Black Knight], [Zag RS].

Voting rules:

# 1 Each person can choose at most two antagonists from a single world.

# 2 It's not mandatory to choose or rate a character from each world, just choose the category you like best.

# 3 The time for voting is a week.

# 4 The number of worlds does not determine the order of appearance of the characters.

# 5 If you don't like any of these characters you can only suggest one character, but as long as he is no more powerful than an S-Class Triumvirate / Threat Member.

# 6 If villains don't go well, a villain alternate version of a folk hero can go, a Dark Ironman / Batman can work.

Answers to comments:

LimeD-01: I'm sorry you couldn't enjoy my chapter.

reynard9234: I think you are right, I misspelled the name of the New Wave.

Silber D. Wolf: Thank you one more for your positive comments.

RedBurningDragon: I like your suggestion to allow Iron-Star to replicate the Homunculi's powers by altering his body.

Trpstar: I love the way you think, I'll start with the Alchemical perk, then I'll do the Fate Extra Dungeon stuff, but I'll make sure it's realistic and challenging. I mean the Dungeon Fate is built to "train" Servants, Spirits of Legendary Heroes, their enemies and bosses have to be something strong.

Alter / Dark version of Servant at every ten floors resolved as Boss, if he wins does he get a Class Card or a Noble Ghost?

I hope I get your feedback on the idea of enemies sent by Jump-chan to annoy Lady-Forge's protege.

Chapter 10.1: Opinions of the good and the bad.

POV Narrator

Once the spectacular and eccentric hero is gone aboard in his sci-fi machine.

The famous duo, Billy and Mandy, started talking to each other.

"Mandy, do you think this new hero joins protectorate or stays solo. I love the classic lonely and mysterious hero thing that saves lives in the middle of the night. But are superhero teams twice as awesome?" Asked Billy, the fanboy cop.

"Billy, for once in your life use your head. The new hero has created a high quality costume, various gadgets, a futuristic vehicle and tricks up his sleeve that allows him to level the playing field.

Iron-Star is like Armsmaster, a Tinker, although instead of being an antisocial retard he appears to behave like Mouse Protector or Myrddin.

A new Tinker is as vulnerable as a shellless turtle. But when they manage to build their gear things change, the more time they have to prepare the more powerful they become.

Our new acquaintance brings equipment that is anything but trivial, using simple logic we understand that he often has a lot of time and effort to build his equipment.

If he wanted to join the Protectorate he would have done so before he built a whole arsenal of amazing looking Tinker-Tech Technology. "Mandy explained, Billy nodded as he could understand most of his stern friend's speech.

"If the new kid doesn't join the Protectorate or the New Wave, his costume matches their look perfectly, he risks getting in a bad situation at the end of the month. You know the stats." A black cop said, with big glasses and nerdy face.

"Irwin, you don't have to drag a good-for-nothing junkie to the van and take him to the police station." He asked Mandy, not too happy to talk to Irwin.

"We don't have enough vans, we wait for others to come, until they arrive we can talk about the new boy." He explained Irwin, slowly approaching Mandy that he is considering taking her gun and shooting him in the face and blaming one of the Traders.

"I'm surrounded by idiots." He muttered Mandy, taking her hand off the semiautomatic pistol, first degree murder with so many witnesses around can't work, especially when the witnesses are cops.

"Listen very well, Irwin, first of all the two of us would never be together, even if it meant the defeat of the Endbringers.

Secondly, the statistics published by the PRT are the US averages.

The actual time period varies from state to state. In Texas the heroes last between 6 months and a year. In California between 2 and 4 years.

Here in our state, the average is 3 to 6 months, not including moving out of town, collaborating with independent heroes and creating new independent teams. "Mandy explained to her idiot friend and annoying Irwin.

"If things aren't that bad why is there so much talk about a month's statistic?" You asked Billy, curious about the PRT's misinformation.

"The PRT and the Protectorate are sometimes crafty, they prefer to publish the average stats, so the Parahuman parents under 18 press for him to join the Wards. A sneaky and cunning move, invented by a Thinker." He said Mandy, almost smiling at one of the few clever moves in the circus known as PRT.

"Mandy you are so smart, it's no surprise that you are nominated to be Captain of our district." Irwin said, complimenting the scariest woman in law enforcement.

"This means Brockton Bay got a strong hero Tinker came to stay." She happily exclaimed Billy, ready to dance and sing for joy. The Brockton Bay police force is really bad if they take someone like him into their ranks.

"It wouldn't be that easy. The local manager, Piggot, hates having independent heroes around. With an eccentric hero who stands in plain sight and leaves new tourist attractions behind." Mandy pointed to the giant metal hydra sculpture.

"Yes he'll uncork his hair, probably Piggot will try to get the new Tinker to join them, or at least become a PRT affiliate." Mandy explained.

"You say it like it's a bad thing." Billy said with a frown.

"It all depends on the reputation and specialization of the Tinker. The PRT pays a lot of attention to independent Tinkers, not without reason.

Some of the most wanted criminals in the world are Tinker. String Theory, Mannequin, Bonesaw, Blasto, Leet, Rache etc. The most discriminated against Tinkers are those who work with biology or biogenetics, the latter remember too much, Nilbog. "Mandy said, before turning around and going to find someone with a chainsaw or capable of extracting Squealer.

The Tinker of the Traders is still locked in her filthy prison, made up of several dozen metal vines twisted around her body.

"Before you jump into a cell as suicidal as your fiancé, smile for a PHO photo." Mandy said, pulling out her phone and taking numerous humiliating pictures of Squealer for posting on the internet.

Half a day later, The Rig, inside Armsmaster's laboratory.

Armsmaster, known by few as Collin Wallis, is many things, some good and some bad.

But surely he is not stupid, proud and stubborn yes, but stupid and dull no.

Quite the opposite, Armsmaster is working on one of his newest projects that will help him move up the Protectorate hierarchy.

Armsmaster is smart enough and self-critical enough to admit that he is not qualified to become a speaker, that it is more efficient to work in the lab than to socialize with people who don't understand him.

Too bad that a certain social attitude is necessary to advance on the ladder of the national protectorate. Not at the level of Legend, but being able to speak without offending someone is the minimum required.

For this reason he asked for help from Dragon, his best and only friend, the result of his help is a social interpretation interface in his helmet to assist him in social interpretations.

In addition to helping him with words, the interface theoretically also works as a lie detector, theoretically because this function is still in the works and in need of several tests.

"So many projects, so little time." He muttered Armsmaster, looking up from his computer to see the still incomplete anti-Lung tranquilizer and a mountain of sketches for a new engine for his Tinker-Tech vehicle.

This interface is not Armsmaster's only project, there is the famous silver bullet for Lung and other minor projects and maintenance procedures.

"I can't finish the interface in a day and find the ideal chemical composition for the tranquilizer." He said Armsmaster, ditching the computer in favor of the design table.

Normally, Armsmaster would stay focused (obsessed) with the current job and make it his priority to get his current project done.

Too bad Armsmaster's brain (Fragment) wants to work on a way to replicate the Iron-mobile engine.

"That something special engine, the plant-life-inspired design is a surprise, but those brilliant crystals ... they have something special, they produced a unique energy signature, I wish I could have taken a sample to study." He said Armsmaster, starting to design exotic engine schemes and researching energy sources.

Time has advanced, but that cannot be said about Armsmaster's research.

'Maybe I have to wait until Monday to see Iron-Star's work or talk to Dragon.' He thought Armsmaster, quitting researching unknown energy sources and starting to send a private message for Dragon.

Again, Armsmaster was interrupted by a ping from his computer.

"Armsmaster present." He answered the blue-clad Tinker.

"Director of arms, this is Renick. Director Piggot wants to talk about the events that happened this afternoon in his office with Miss Militia and Assault." Renick said.

"It's really necessary, I sent a recording of my meeting with Iron-Star along with a written report. Assault was the first to get in touch with Iron-Star, if Piggot wants to talk to someone Assault is perfect for this task." Armsmaster said, trying to send Assault to face Piggot and extreme paranoia / distrust of him.

"Assault is a good man, but not a skilled detective. Armsmaster you are a man of detail and above all you are the only Tinker who has taken a closer look at the technology of Iron-Star." Deputy Director Renick said, listing logical and solid facts that are hard to break down.

"Got it, I'll come right away." Armsmaster said, his voice not at all pleased.

Piggot's insistence in the last time to talk to him face to face about the most trivial things is becoming a nuisance for Armsmaster.

Going to talk to Piggot means he has to get out of the Ring and drive to Brockton Bay.

Once he arrives at his destination, the PRT headquarters, where he will waste even more time going through unnecessary formalities and bureaucracy.

Finally he must discuss with Piggot and resolve any issues raised during the meeting, then return to The Rig.

"This will consume all of my time at Tinker-Works and cause problems with my training and rest schedule." He said Armsmaster, sighing before exiting his lab, feeling frustrated and ready to punch someone, preferably a Nazi.

XXX

On the way, Armsmaster is thinking about how difficult it is to be understood by non-Tinkers.

Most Heroic Tinkers end up in a support or intermediary role.

Tinkers are sought after by everyone as they are excellent power amps, but few make it out in the big league.

In addition to Dragon, Armsmaster himself and a few other Tinkers are nationally or internationally recognized and most of them are S-grade criminal Tinkers.

The public is enchanted by the Brutes or other Cape with the most evident and photogenic powers, especially the Trump like Dauntless take all the spotlight for little or nothing.

Assault occasionally teases Armsmaster about his "obsessive" habits at work.

"Once again I am not understood." He muttered Armsmaster softly, recalling Assault's "friendly jokes".

Only a Tinker can understand what it really means to be a Tinker.

'Unlike almost all other types of Parahuman, the equipment created by a Tinker is absolutely and completely vital to their ability to fight, especially when their specialty is not as… great as others.' He thought Armsmaster as he drives through a crossroads with his Tinker-Tech motorcycle.

This way of thinking is causing Armsmaster's inferiority complex to emit.

'Miniaturization and efficiency are not a powerful specialization to become a grand league Tinker.

I have to constantly work on my technology, 24/7, all in order to be able to fight on the same level as people who can destroy buildings with a simple punch.

For years since I was a Ward under the leadership of Hero I have been working hard to do something useful with my specialization.

But it only takes one bad day to make a novice appear who can eclipse all my work and commitment.

I have to work continuously just to keep up with other Capes, while others like Dauntless continually grow in strength just waiting for his power to do its job. ' Armsmaster thought, stopping his Tinker-Tech motorcycle in front of the local PRT building.

XXX

A few minutes after.

Armsmaster is in a conference room with Assault, Miss Militia, Director Piggot, and Assistant Director Renick.

"Director Piggot, what is the reason for the emergency meeting?" He asked Miss Militia, not knowing the reason for this private meeting.

"Today around 10, a new Parahuman has revealed himself." Piggot replied briefly, shuffling cards in front of him.

Simultaneously Deputy Director Renick accesses a screen installed in the meeting room, showing a cutscene with Iron-Star taking on Hookwolf.

"This new player calls himself Iron-Star. A Tinker of unknown specialization. His first public appearance is to stop an attack by Hookwolf focused on injuring and / or recruiting Parian.

Not even two hours later, Iron-Star appeared again, halting an assault on the Dockers' Association by Squealer, Skidmark and fifty armed common men. Here are the copies of the report. "Piggot said, giving everyone present a couple of the reports.

Armsmaster, Assault, and Miss Militia have grabbed the folders and start leafing through it.

'Another waste of time, half of this report is made up of my observations and Assault's comments. The second part consisted of a hasty analysis by the policemen and the PRT agents arrived on the spot. ' He mentally commented Armsmaster, pretending to read the report.

"Thoughts, opinions?" Asked Piggot, wanting a professional parry from Armsmaster, Miss Militia and if possible from Assault.

"Iron-Star seems like a cool guy to me even though ..." he said Assault, pausing for a moment to find the right word.

"Although ... what!?" He asked Piggot, not tolerating Assault's comedic attitude too well.

"He reminds me of Mouse Protector or Myrddin science fiction version. Iron-Star is shouting his moves out loud as if he were the protagonist of a Japanese anime." He said Assault with a smirk on his face, taking the screen remote and turning up the volume of the video.

Precisely when Iron-Star shouts "Fulger!" Before attacking Hookwolf.

"ABB and Empire 88 get Tinkers specializing in bombs and demolition. The next" hero "Tinker is a madman from Souls. Über and Leet have just received their nemesis or he is a distant relative of Mouse Protector." He said Piggot, not liking even a second of this situation.

"Personally I believe he is Myrddin's illegitimate son." Assault replied, not too serious at Iron-Star's idea that he's a little science fiction-obsessed Myrddin unlike his fantasy-obsessed father.

"The word crazy is an exaggeration, the eccentric appellation works best for Iron-Star." He said Armsmaster, displeased that a fellow Tinker being laughed at because of his different nature, this reminds him of bad times in his teens.

"I agree with Armsmaster. Iron-Star showing rudimentary knowledge in tactics, above average fighting skills and Tinker-Tech technology in excellent shape. His eccentric demeanor belies a capable and intelligent person." Miss Militia said, analyzing the essential facts concerning Iron-Star, ignoring the smoke and mirror offered by his words, anime protagonist attitude and dramatic gestures.

"We know he says he comes from overseas. The attire and attitude seems inspired by him

Super Sentai, but the words of his attacks are Romanian.

It is a hypothesis, but there are rumors that Iron-Star is one of countless immigrants from Japan after Leviathan sank Kyushu. Iron-Star may often have years in Romania to prepare the costume and all the technology and then come to America when ready.

Or he pretends to be a hero of Eurasian origin just come to America, he could be the son of immigrants from Europe who grew up in one of the Asian districts. "Deputy Director Renick said, making various assumptions using the available data.

"A foreigner on American soil armed with Tinker-Tech technology with an unknown agenda or a native posing as a foreigner in possession of Tinker-Tech technology created under our noses. I can't decide what's worse." Piggot said, envisioning the worst for every possible scenario.

"Armsmaster what can you say about Iron-Star and the technology it showed you?" Asked Piggot, wanting clear and simple facts.

"The technology of his costume is not too advanced, other than the utility belt, the exotic crystals and the Telekinesis and Stasis Modules of his arms. A large part of his forces in his vehicles.

An armored car with a built-in workshop instead of a trunk, an incredibly fast motorcycle, both vehicles demonstrated the ability to fly and drive themselves. "Armsmaster said, presenting the main points he could see in the short term often with Iron. -Star.

"A particular hallmark?" She asked Piggot, wanting to know more, sure Armsmaster noticed something.

"His technology is more difficult to analyze or understand exactly how it works, probably because he is using an unknown energy source based on enigmatic crystals.

The design of its engine resembles plant biology and, requesting Panacea's presence for Monday's meeting, he wants to present medical technology not yet tested on humans ... "Armsmaster paused to speak, noticing Piggot's overreaction. to the word biology and medicine.

Director Piggott paled dramatically, clenching his fists hard enough to break the punishment in his hands, then she exploded violently ...

At that moment everyone in the conference room remembered an important fact about Director Piggot.

Long ago, Emily Piggot was a Parahuman Response Team soldier on the front line until she was seriously injured during the Ellisburg Debacle.

Due to the injuries sustained in her kidneys, they are barely functioning and this causes a large number of health problems.

It can all be fixed with a little help from the local healer, Panacea.

But Piggot refuses to be treated by Panacea for one simple reason, she nurtures a profound towards all Parahumans, none excluded.

"I know Bio-Tinkers are a sensitive subject for you ..." said Deputy Director Renick, feeling uncomfortable calming Piggot.

"Sensitive fucking topic! I experienced the Elisburg Nilbog massacre, I don't live to see another if I can do something about it!" Piggot yelled, jumping up, knocking over his chair as he did so, then points to Armsmaster.

"Armsmaster, from now on Iron-Star is your top priority.

I want all the information on this Bio-Tinker, you said she's going to tour the Ring on Monday.

Give him the best tour possible and get him to join the Protectorate and keep him under surveillance 24/7.

If you can't do it, I want to see them in a body bag inside the PRT morgue, indeed I want to see his body incinerated and the ashes scattered in Japan or Romania.

I don't care how or why, but I won't leave a free and alive Bio-Tinker Brockton Bay and risk seeing a second Elisburg! "Shouted Piggot, with a voice and an attitude worthy of a madwoman who has to be treated or locked up in an asylum.

Armsmaster, Assault, Miss Militia and Deputy Director Renick, knowing that Piggot is currently unavailable to listen to reason, have decided to remain silent until he calms down.

XXX

Once Piggot left the meeting room, the sane people continued to argue about the new hero.

"The accusation of being a Bio-Tinker is quite serious and can destroy the career of an emerging Tinker. Piggot is acting irrationally and risks making a very strong Tinker an enemy who wants to collaborate with us." Armsmaster said in a firm voice, not tolerating Piggot's mad boar attitude, it rarely happens, but when it does Armsmaster starts wanting to get a new manager or move to a new town.

"Irrational is a kind word for mad raging or extreme racist towards the Bio-Tinkers. The new guy stops Hookwolf and wipes out the Traders in a single day. It's Piggot wants him chained or dead." Assault declared, in a rare serious tone of voice.

"Armsmaster, when you meet Iron-Star on Monday, obey Piggot's orders and pressure him to join the Protectorate?" Miss Militia asked her blue-clad superior.

"No, Iron-Star has stated that he does not want to join the Protectorate, pressuring him could have the opposite effect to what is desired.

Obeying an irrational order from a director currently suffering from PTSD (post-traumatic stress) is not efficient. "Armsmaster said, he can be compared to a living machine than to a man, but that doesn't mean he is an obedient drone.

"Well, I agree with you, I doubt he intends to join the Protectorate. If they wanted to, they would have entered immediately after they managed to build something that could prove to be a Tinker. What worries me is that we have not heard. nothing from the Overwatch Initiative we set up in Brockton Bay.

Yet Iron-Star has enough material to build a variety of gadgets, advanced vehicles, and so on.

This gives us four options:

1) There is a hole in the Overwatch that we need to find, which will be done by the analytics department.

2) Iron-Star has access to some pre-existing supply of supplies and raw materials.

3) Iron-Star really comes from Europe and came prepared, bringing everything you need.

4) Iron-Star is a native of Brockton Bay and has an influential supporter. "Said Deputy Editor Renick, tired of talking about Iron-Star and Piggot.

"Let Piggot lead the PRT in this state, could he ask to quarantine the whole city or call the National Guard to fight a monster army that doesn't exist?" He asked for Assault, worried about leaving Piggot in charge in this state.

"I understand your concerns, but Piggot will return to her normal self after a good night's sleep. But as a precaution I will send a note to superiors about this event and have Piggot recommend a mandatory vacation. I believe the mental stress of working may have caught up with her. . " Deputy Director Renick said, walking out of the room, going to report to his superiors.

XXX

Through the corridors of the PRT building.

"If Piggot calms down from his phase of him, he chains or kills the Bio-Tinker, do you think he will try the same tactics he used to recruit Shadow Stalker?" He asked his teammates for Assault.

"Aggressive recruiting tactics are unnecessary. Iron-Star has been friendly and cooperative, letting Tinker-Tech inspect his automobile and schedule a visit to the Ring. Power testing and recording included. Most independents and Tinkers do not. they do similar things if they are not persuaded repeatedly. " Armsmaster said, seeing no need for serious measures with Iron-Star.

"The similarities between Iron-Star and Shadow Stalker are so opposite that it's funny.

Shadow Stalker acts at night and dresses in dark colors, not very sociable and collaborative, preferring surprise attacks, with serious lack of self-control.

Iron-Star acts in the middle of the afternoon, dressed in white and red, sociable enough to talk to you, Armsmaster and leave a statement to the Police, as well as accompany Parian to his shop and sign autographs for civilians on the scene. "Miss Militia said, listing the many differences between the two Capes.

"Unlike Shadow Stalker, Iron-Star seems to have firm self-control, he could behead Squealer after being hit by explosives but he stopped at the last second, favoring subduing Squealer by non-lethal means.

Maybe overdone with the giant hydra-shaped sculpture and puts on too much of a show for my liking but for his first day it's going well.

Even if Piggot wants him behind bars, there is no evidence to use against Iron-Star, just a bias caused by evil Tinkers like Mannequin, Bonesaw, Blasto. "Miss Militia said, explaining her reasoning.

"Nice to hear that there are people with their heads in these parts. Miss Militia what rankings would you give the new boy?" Assault asked her friend.

Master 2, his cloak at his command transforms into snakes to hold people back, bat wings to glide, may have other shapes to use.

Trump 3-5, Iron-Star thanks to his technology or to the crystals he carries has managed to produce effects similar to various powers, such as: pyrokineci, electrokinesis, terracinesis, force fields and telekinesis. Possible growing power when he is in danger judging by his words: "The more I am in danger, the stronger he became."

Thinker 3, on his first day managed to defeat Hookwolf, a veteran with a long and bloody history. Later with the Merchants he demonstrated superhuman senses that allowed him to intercept bullets using his lightsaber.

Blaster 3, his bow and arrow can produce potentially lethal effects for normal humans, Hookwolf was gravity wounded by a pair of arrows with pyrokinetic powers.

Brute 4, superhuman strength and endurance that can withstand various grenades and knock out grown men with a single shot.

Mover 4, superhuman speed and reflexes that allows him to dodge the fire of various machine gunners and pistols indefinitely.

Striker 4, both of his swords are capable of cutting through matter with ease, Hookwolf has been cut into two parts separated by a single sword.

Shaker 4, influence the surrounding terrain to completely immobilize Squealer's huge Tinker-Tech vehicle. In addition to launching waves of telekinetic power combined with lightning.

Tinker 4-7, armored vehicles capable of flying, weapons powered by mysterious crystals and technology capable of simulating powers. "Miss Militia explained, listing the various powers that Iron-Star showed.

"The result is quite worrying: Master 2, Trump 3-5, Thinker 3, Blaster 3, Brute 4, Mover 4, Striker 4, Shaker 4, Tinker 4-7.

A cloak with all these abilities in a few powerful is not only versatile but also powerful. Thank goodness Iron-Star is a hero and not yet another megalomaniac criminal. "Assault commented, glad he didn't want to face the new guy too soon.

XXX

Several hours later in a luxurious office inside an underground bunker.

The point of interest in this room is not the luxury items or the paintings on the walls.

But the person sitting behind the desk.

A man dressed in a black suit so tight that his individual ribs show. Like any great costumed villain, he has some kind of personal symbol or logo.

For this S&M lover, the symbol of him is a white snake that wraps on one leg, around the abdomen, on his back and wraps around his head to rest on his forehead.

Physically he is very thin and tall, as if he were a skeleton dressed in a BDSM costume.

Why does he dress up in such an impractical costume? Nobody can know.

This shady-tasting person is known to the underworld as Coil.

In his civilian identity he is a former PRT team captain, now contract consultant and founder and CEO of Fortress Construction Thomas Calvert.

Coil the pedophile snake is reading a report he received from one of his agents in the PRT analysis department.

This document in his hands is rather short, but incredibly valuable because it is about a new player who has just appeared in town.

The Unsurpassed Iron-Star, Brockton Bay's new hero Tinker, everyone is talking about his dynamic appearance and his spectacular cutscenes against Hookwolf and the Traders.

Coil knows best of all that Tinkers are among the two most sought after types of parahuman, along with thinkers.

Coil himself has managed to get to where he is thanks to his thinker power. He's been able to "make a deal" with a thinker named Livsey / Lisa Wilbourn in recent months, to join him.

"His collaboration with Tattletale alone allowed me to speed up my plans a lot.

Getting the Merchants to act so recklessly was a genius mosaic, I was able to take out one of the three Brockton Bay gangs and find out what the new hero is capable of. "Coil said, watching the Iron movie again- Star cutting Hookwolf in two.

'I agree with Miss Militia's opinion, Iron-Star pretends to be an idiot like Mouse Protector and Myrddin.

They may act like idiots, but it doesn't change that they are among the best heroes in the USA.

I too pretend to be a simple consultant while reality is a Machiavellian mind. ' He thought Coil in his sick mind.

'Taking into account that all Tinkers have uncontrollable impulses to build their own technology, usually leaving a long trail of easy-to-find clues.

The fact that Iron-Star wasn't tracked down by anyone until he came out of his own free will means several possibilities.

One, Iron-Star's Tinker power provides no impetus to disassemble and reassemble the technology or it can be suppressed for a long time.

Two, Iron-Star has rich supporters who provide him with the necessary material.

Three, Iron-Star is not a new hero, in fact he can be a Villain or an Independent Hero or even an Ex-Cape of the Protectorate who has decided to change his image.

Four, Iron-Star has already been "recruited" by one of the gangs or other groups in Brockton Bay.

Five, Iron-Star is truly a new Tinker who immigrated to Brockton Bay from old Europe. ' He thought Coil, making five valid assumptions for this situation.

Coil a divided the timeline into two parts.

In universe A he stayed in his office doing his paperwork for the PRT.

In universe B he went to make some phone and cashed some favors to test his assumptions about him.

Once he finished investigating, Coil chose to stick to the line of action of universe A, where his favors were never used and still exist.

Option one, possible, Iron-Star's Tinker power can't be so weak that it's suppressed for more than a couple of weeks, too little time to build such a technology. If it were a Tinker created thanks to the Cauldron it could work, the Cape made with the Cauldron potions have shown more control over their powers and fewer side effects.

Option two, potential backers with the amount of capital and leverage needed to fund a Tinker can be counted with one hand and each of them are secretly monitored finances.

Option three, possible, Iron-Star may be a rebrand, but the odds are next to nil. Using his legal and illegal access to the protectorate and the PRT system, the results say that no Tinker has left the protectorate in recent years. A criminal who turns the page is even more unlikely, such a bold man with such technology would be known in the underworld.

Option four, impossible and also the easiest to discover. Thank you, you have numerous infiltrators in all of Brockton Bay's valuable gangs.

Option five, possible, Iron-Star is a true independent Tinker moved of his own free will to Brockton Bay.

A rarity, independent Tinkers are very rare and short-lived. They normally join Toybox or quickly end up enlisted by the PRT or local villains.

Thinking about it all across the continent of North America there are four truly independent Tinkers if we count the same Iron-Star. ' Coil thought, decided he had worked hard enough on this new player for today.

"Tattletale, I have a new task for you, I want you and your team to start investigating the new Tinker, Iron-Star." Coil said, giving orders to his current pet.

"Circus, I have a job for you, I want you to rob Parian's bakeries within 24 hours." Said the pedophile snake, giving other orders to one of his contacts from the criminal world.

"Circus will bring him out into the open, where Tattletale and his team will find out about him. Once he finds out who Iron-Star really is, he will have two options to work for me or die in front of me." Said Coil, closing the door to his office.

XXX

Simultaneously inside the Star-Forge.

Harold Holmes finds himself inundated in colorful sweaters with a six-inch flying girl in front of him.

"Oni-Chan!" He yelled the girl the size of a glass of water.

"The last oddity of a long day at work." Holmes muttered, sighing in exhaustion and lying on the floor of his new laboratory for expensive and potentially deadly toys.

Keep it going ...

Benefits / Items obtained in this chapter:

+ Creator (Re Creators) (Free): You are part of the ordinary world, unlike the other two paths. But you are no less important for the big picture: without people like you, creations would not exist and this world would be one without fantasy or hope. Even a mere "mortal", for Creations, is a god. That title might not mean what he usually does here ... but it's still one to respect, especially since you'll get the chance to rewrite this story as well.

A Bright Star (Re Creators) (Free): It would be a misnomer to call yourself a Creator if you were just a simple media consumer on your own, a fanboy who produces more dreams than anything else. Whatever skills you need to become a well-known resource in the entertainment industry: programming, art, writing ... now you have them. Whether you use them to enter show business or just become a wonderfully talented fan creator, that's your prerogative.

The Courage to See (Re Creators) (Free): A common and deadly affliction in the world of creative types is jealousy, or self-deprecation. There are too many hopes out there that freeze when shown to others who have accomplished much greater than themselves - they will feel overwhelmed or that they could never reach those heights. But that fear won't hold you anymore. You can find a way to swallow the bitter pill of being overshadowed by someone and, on top of that, use the dark feelings stirring within to "fuel" your efforts to improve.

Pulp Fiction (Re Creators) (Free): It would be a shame if you were surrounded by these fascinating stories and couldn't enjoy them as they should be enjoyed, isn't it? For someone with powers like you, limiting it this way can prove more helpful. You have four bond levels like Alucard, but you can control their releases on your own, as abilities are sealed or weakened with each bond level.

Comics (The Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes) (50): You have a collection of comics based on your adventures; they are mostly accurate, if a little exaggerated as comics often are. The art and style of writing is up to you. Get more out of your ongoing adventures.

Lifetime Supply of Awesome Sweaters (Gravity Falls) (Free): Oh yeah. You could wear a different custom sweater every day for the rest of your life and have sweaters as a change. You can wear them again if you really want to, but it's up to you. A new sweater appears in the one you normally store your clothes in every morning or when you lose your current one. Also, all past sweaters are displayed in order in the Warehouse.

Fantastic Opening Sequence (Gravity Falls) (100): At the start of each jump, you get a well-designed opening sequence that gives an idea of the personality of the "main cast members" (you and your primary allies, whether you blow them up or take them with you) and the vaguest of omens (as you may or may not recognize something or someone later on that appeared in it as a short still image, even if it only shows up once). Spend 100 cp more and you can have a full set of boxed DVDs that summarize your adventures (here and in other past and future jumps) in the style of Gravity Falls (and even with what might be shown in said show, just push the censors so many people) and in neat episodic bites.

Drone Factory [Snake Themed Drones] (Transformers) (100): A small but efficient factory module has come into your possession, this little gizmo will create hundreds of small drones just for you. These drones tend to follow a certain theme determined by you, for tarantulas they were little spiders like robots.
