Hello. So, I just wanted to thank everyone who has been reading so far. It is much appreciated.
I am going to go through the entire 1st generation cast alphabetically, then the 2nd generation cast alphabetically, and the 3rd generation cast alphabetically. There is a setline that I am also going with, so just in case the timeline is confusing, I based it off how reality shows normally run, and how long it took to air in real life.
TDI filming: 8 weeks in the summer of Year 1 (late June - late August)
TDA filming: 6 weeks in the fall of Year 1 (early September, mid-late October)
TDI airing: Summer Year 1 - Winter Year 2 (June - January. TDI aired in Canada from July 2007-January 2008 IRL)
TDA airing: January Year 2 - December Year 2 (TDA aired for the entirety of a year in Canada IRL, and the cast is supposed to be on a year break from TDA-TDWT filming)
TDWT filming: 8-ish weeks in Winter/Spring Year 3 (early February - April Year)
TDWT airing: June Year 3 - November Year 3 (I am going with how the US aired TDWT, since the season aired there first)
TDROTI filming: 8 weeks in summer of Year 4 (late June - August. I am going to use the fact that the season was shortened due to a last-minute network change that was found out during filming. Season was approved for 8 weeks of filming for months. I have to do this, to explain a lot of the interactions with the cast, since barely any was shown overall)
TDROTI airing: Winter Year 5 (reminiscent of ROTI airing being pushed back a year IRL)
TDAS filming: 8 weeks in summer of Year 5 (late June - August. Show "edited out" a lot of interactions, gives me a chance to make up whatever interactions I can for the story)
TDAS airing: Winter Year 6 (aired in January - March on Teletoon in real life on Teletoon. Networks in real life would air reality shows weekly)
TDPI filming: 8 weeks in summer of Year 6 (late June - August. Same as other seasons)
TDPI airing: Fall Year 6 (September - November on Teletoon in real life. Networks in real life would air reality shows weekly)
TRRace filming: Spring Year 7 (April - June)
TRRace airing: Summer Year 7 - Winter Year 8 (June - January. Might as well go with the TDI airing date)
A short, brunette woman with tacky fashion sense (thinking she is fashionable) made her way into a Toronto lot, and looked around to see where the green screen that she's supposed to be in, "I wonder what room it is. I'm still not used to these buildings and lots."
She walked a few steps, and saw the familiar face usher to her, "Beth, thank you for coming. Just follow me." He grabbed her hands, and walked into the green room, and sat down, "Alright, it's nice to see you."
Beth waved to the producers, "Hello everyone. It's nice to see you too Josh. So, how is this going to work?"
"I am going to give you a name, picture, or both of the people you have interacted with on the series in some capacity, and you will tell me your opinions/experiences with them on the show, and if you've spoken to them since."
"Ooh, that sounds exciting," she squealed, while clapping her hands. She was handed a picture of Bridgette, and had to recall her experiences, "I was on two seasons with her, and I never really got to know her like that. On the first season, we were on opposite teams, and I was booted quite early. And on my second season, she was booted right away, and I made it to the end, so there was no time spent. I remember in "Playa de Losers", I wanted to hook up and make out with someone in a certain place, and she told me about it. In general, I didn't get to know her until "World Tour", when she dealt with that cheating situation."
He did remember that, "I do remember that. Blaineley was really trying to ram that in".
"It was even worse. Eva was clowning her about the situation, and Katie/Sadie tend to have... what's it called; pick-me vibes. So I comforted her, told her that she made a mistake, but you can learn from them. Even before the Aftermaths, I was trying to be the middle-person between her and Geoff. After that, we started hanging out quite a bit, and I appreciated that time with her. They offered to make me a bridesmaid at their wedding, due to repairing that relationship. While I haven't seen them since, I'm glad to have been a part of... that."
Josh took a picture of Cody to hand to her, "Cody is next, and I've always been confused by this. From that one episode in the first season, you two had somewhat of a flirtation. What was that about?"
Beth started to blush and giggle, "They didn't really show it, but... Cody and I did have kind of a flirtation, from the very beginning. Obviously, we had a decent amount in common, with being home-bodies, smart, friendly, musically and artistically-inclined. The show was our first real experience with a group of people, and he really did help me become more confident. He was telling me to watch out for Heather WELL before I finally snapped, and we would always come up with games/activities for our team. I knew he liked Gwen, but Cody is a flirt, and I liked this flirting game. Heather would get mad every time we flirted, and I think it was because nobody wanted her at the time. Gwen was here for it though. I gave him that goodbye kiss when he was booted, and when I was eliminated right after, we kind of... hooked up. We were ready to start a relationship, and that time in Playa de Losers is something that I ended up cherishing with him, learning a lot about boys, and romance."
Josh raised his eyebrows in shock, "It would have been nice to see more of this. Anyways, what happened? We know that you have whatever with Justin in "Action", which Cody does not compete in, and he deals with Gwen and Sierra in "World Tour", which you did not compete in."
Beth let out a sigh, "As the season ended, we both had a similar discussion that Leshawna and Harold did, about moving too fast. Neither of us had been in a relationship before, and with the exposure of the show, we should explore other options, and grow to seize every moment possible. We're never on a season together again, and we both make it to the end of our successive seasons, so we spent NO time together. The only time we did was during "The Drama Brother" concerts and tours, and things were awkward between him and I, due to my relations with Harold and Justin. I wanted to have a conversation with him when we were on the yacht ship, but Sierra made it impossible. He called me the "Yoko Ono" of the group, and that was the final straw for me. We don't really have any sort of relationship or friendship anymore, and I think he feels like Sierra wouldn't like it if we spoke."
He laughed when he saw the next picture on the list, "You're going to love this one. Tell me about your experiences with Courtney."
Sher instantly ripped the picture, "Yeah... my experience with her was awful to say the least, and this was before "Action". I spent ALL EVENING cooking the green jelly for the party that the Gophers had, and she TOSSED it. We went out of our way to include the Bass, and she tossed it. I get it, she had a fear of it, but I NEVER got an apology afterwards. Once she arrived to Playa de Losers, she went on an RAMPAGE. She started ranting and raving about being rigged out, though she was going soon anyways, which the others said. She also started bullying Sadie, and I SNAPPED back at her. I was feeling myself after sticking up to Heather, and Courtney deserved it. I had gotten closer to Katie and Sadie at that time, so it was the right thing to do. Entering "Action", we were already in a bad place, and seeing the producers cater to her every need was INFURIATING. She ordered us to "MUSH" as soon as she came back, and started treating us like dogs. What they did not show is that the entire Grips team went to the producers, and complained about Courtney being forced in with all of these advantages. If she was supposed to come back for wrongful treatment, she should have came back during "Island". We even threatened to walk out completely, especially right after Owen was booted".
"Yes, I did hear about this being reported, but no one from the cast spoke up about this. Chris and the network really wanted to shut it down, but you all were determined to shut the season down. How did everything come to a solve?"
Beth went deeper into the explanation, "We even convinced a lot of the Gaffers to join us, in halting the show and quitting if Courtney's advantages were not taken, and if she returned. What they gave us as a hush tool was a higher stipend rate, lowering hers, and Courtney was FORCED to share her PDA with the entire cast. It is why you see me touching and making a huge emphasis regarding her PDA over the next few episodes. She resented me for it, since I ring lead the entire situation. I just wanted to use the PDA to contact my boyfriend of the time, and she went back and forth with me about faking my boyfriend, being jealous that she was the new star of the show, being jealous of her looks, so on and so forth. These comments were being made the entire time."
"When it was just the two of us as the women on the cast, things got a lot more complicated. We realized that we needed each other, so we would try our BEST to bond with one another. At the same time, we got into physical altercations, which was never the case beforehand. I remember right after the Space challenge, we got into a physical fight, because she tried to blame me for her having vomit all over her and losing, while I argued back that she never listened to me, and I REFUSED to deal with another dictator like Heather. That blew it for her, and she swung first. Anyways, she sued the show after my win, claiming "election fraud", and took HUGE pleasure in Lindsay and I being arrested. I did not appreciate her comments, I did not appreciate her lawsuits, and she has since proven that she can't keep a friend, a man, or an ally to save her life. I made some comments to the press about how she ruined the show with her lawsuits, production favoritism, and her outright terror, so she sued me for slander. I haven't spoken to her, or been in the same room as her since."
Josh wanted to move on, and had a question, "Do you know why DJ voted for you to win in "Action", over his best friend Duncan?"
"Honestly, I have no idea," Beth admitted. "We were not close at all. We were on opposite teams in 'Island", and I was booted early. We were on opposite teams during "Action", and he was booted early. I did help DJ cook for the others at Playa de Losers, and we had some simple discussions about hospitality, our families, etc. I really didn't get to know him until he was booted off "World Tour", and he was venting to me about being cursed, since he loves animals, and he was so traumatized. I felt really bad for him, and he kind of used me as a therapist. I helped him get in touch with animals again. We were cool, but not really close friends."
He looked at Duncan's picture before handing it to her, "I think you and Duncan arguably have the most distant interaction between all of the finalists from the show. What is your opinion on him?"
Beth took the picture, and had a relatively neutral facial reaction, "I did not interact with him in "Island", and thought he was just a smug asshole. Despite that, I had very little opinion of him. I didn't interact with him for the first half of "Action" either, but I got REALLY offended when he got in the middle of Trent and Gwen's relationship. I tried to vote him off several times after the merge, but nothing prevailed. I overheard a lot of conversations that he would have with Courtney, and I would ask him if he was okay. He would claim that I needed to stay out of it, but he would tell me bit-by-bit as the season went on. A part of me does think he was distant, or kind of aggressive whenever I would make a comment because I was relatively close with Harold, though that relationship deteriorated. We did become quite close during the final episode, and I saw a nicer side to him. He never really bothered me, or treated me poorly in general. I'm neutral on him, though I haven't spoken to him since."
"Alright, what do you think about Eva and Ezekiel?"
"I will do Ezekiel first, since I had less experience with him. He kept to himself for a lot of our time at "Playa De Losers", though we somewhat bonded about coming from farms in the few times that we did speak. He joined Lindsay and I in the special to be on our team, but we kind of forgot about him, since he didn't say much. I do not recall any other interaction. Eva was always very hostile at "Playa". Izzy was the only woman who could calm Eva down, but she would grill Katie, Sadie, and I over the stupidest things, like gossiping about boys in front of her, not cooking her food well enough, doing makeovers, etc. That stuff only got worse when the 4 of us sat out of "World Tour". At first, we all decided to make a group effort to enjoy our time together, and we planned to include Eva, but she never wanted to join us, and then she started making fun of Sadie and I for our looks. I told her that she looks like a man, and that's why she's so miserable, and trying to make us miserable with her. She literally CHOKED me, and I thought I was going to die. Katie and Sadie did everything that they could to stop, while Trent, Justin, and Geoff had to pull her off."
He could not help but shake his head, "Eva choking people is not shocking. Sorry you had to go through that. Geoff, and then Gwen are the next two names on the list."
She smiled, "I like Geoff. I already mentioned about helping him and Bridgette repair their relationship, and them putting me in their wedding due to it. He really made the Aftermaths and that time bearable when "World Tour" was taking place. He wanted me to help him with the party that we had in the beginning of the season, and we all had a good time. Geoff really broke into his own during that time, and he wasn't being an A-hole like he was in the "TDA" aftermaths. He taught me how to have fun, embrace who I am, and to enjoy being a party animal. I learned a lot about the behind-the-scenes stuff of show business and production due to him. He was trying to get me to be the returnee at the merge, because he felt like I should have been on the cast, after winning last season. We're acquaintances/friendly now."
"With Gwen,... I felt like, and still feel like she is a good person. At the same, she is so guarded and defensive that she kind of... judges others, and likes to put up walls, so it's hard to get to know her. In "Island", I get why she didn't care for me, since I was supposedly close with Heather during my time on the season, and never really got the time to redeem myself to thrive on my own afterwards. Her shading the entire cast in that interview before the finale was uncalled for. I did not like how she handled the Trent situation, and I made that known throughout the season, but were actually bonded over the first 2-3 episodes. She complimented me on getting my braces off, and coming off more confident, and I said the same thing about her. Both of us were intrapersonal loners before the show, and we got along due to that. So when I said that I missed her in the finale after her boot, I meant it. Despite that, I do think that we became distant due to the issues I was going through with Leshawna at the time, and I'm close with Katie/Sadie, who Gwen had issues with, due to Trent. She also never got along with Lindsay."
Josh knew that the next person's name was going to be juicy, "You all of a sudden had these feelings for Harold, and pursued him. During this same season, you had a boyfriend named Brady, you were flirting with Justin incessantly, and Leshawna was your friend by the time she left, and you moved onto her man. What's up with that?"
Nervousness came through her entire body after being questioned in the way that she was, "Harold was always someone that I... that I got along with. Him and I spent quite a bit of time together after he was booted from "Island", as we were both becoming more confident versions of ourselves, and standing up to our bullies. We also partook in a lot of the same clubs and activities in our individual lives before the show, so there was a friendship there that wasn't seen on camera based on similarities. During "Action", Leshawna was telling me certain things about Harold, and it kind of... turned me on. Harold and I remained good friends through the season, but we became a lot closer when we decided to align with one another during the merge. We all ended up playing a game of Truth or Dare during the merge party, and we ended up making out as a part of a dare. My feelings were all-over-the-place, Leshawna AND Harold told me that they were single. I was over Justin's antics in the game, and Harold was pissed off that Justin turned on him, so we just became closer and closer. He knew that I was hesitant about my relationship with Brady, and made me question it, so I thought Harold wanted to get with me. I kissed him, and he ends up getting the boot. I had a crush on 3 men, and my crush on Brady was the weakest."
The messiness was still confusing to him, but he wanted to get more out of it, "What happened with you and Harold after "Action"? I mean, he got into a band with Justin and Cody, two people you have been romantically linked to."
She bit her lip, somewhat in happiness, and somewhat in nervousness, "I ended being invited by them to attend a lot of their shows, and I ended up... being a part of their team. Katie, Sadie, and even sometimes Lindsay became their groupies. Harold and Lindsay were mad about Tyler and Leshawna's... fraternization, and they wanted to hook up with whoever. We were in the middle of a concert, he was looking at me the entire time while playing, and we ended up... having a few rendez-vous during that time. Cody, Justin, and Leshawna got mad, and it caused a lot of drama, so Harold and I ended it in a friendly way. We've even had a few hookups since, with Harold and Leshawna sometimes inviting me in to be their third, during "World Tour" and afterwards, so there's no hard feelings at all today."
"Juicy indeed," he admitted. Once he saw the next picture, he could not help but burst out in laughter, "You hate her more than Courtney, if I remember correctly. Tell me about your relationship with Heather."
A huge eye roll came from her eyes, and she started getting red instantly, "I am going to TRY to not lose it. When I signed onto "Total Drama", I really wanted to gain experience, and interact with people who were different from me. Lindsay and Heather reminded me of the pretty, popular girls that I idolized in school, and in media. With how I was treated, I initially thought that it came with the protocol, and was normal, but it became clear to me, with the assistance of Cody, and Leshawna that Heather and I did not mesh. How the fallout was portrayed on TV was exactly how it happened, with the exception of them cutting out me mentioning her producer privilege and meddling that she received during the paintball argument. Heather was mad that I didn't get booted when Cody was, and she went on a RANT to the producers about it. They pushed the "curse" narrative, and acted like I intentionally did it, when I was not present when that announcement was made. She needed to be kept around, and that was whatever. Throughout the season, she always made fun of my looks and weight in a passive aggressive way to get me to do what she wanted."
"That is how I remembered it, but there was stuff that happened afterwards, but not on the show," Josh recalled, clearly trying to lead her in the direction that he wanted to.
"No it wasn't, but I ignored her for a long time. During the first special, she tries to manipulate Lindsay and I to be on her side again, which pissed me off EVEN MORE. Do you SERIOUSLY think that I'm THAT dumb to fall for the same trick twice? Fool me twice, and shame on me. She continued this during the beginning of "Action", trying to get us back. Once that didn't work, she tried insulting us, like during the horror movie challenge, calling us "pathetic, spineless followers" that she can't wait to eliminate, due to us being friends. The producers clearly wanted us to face off, and I ignored her when she was insulting me. During her last two episodes, it felt SO GOOD to compete with her, and to beat her both times, like snatching her wig, and beating her in badminton were highlights."
Josh rolled his eyes, "What about the social media mess that happened?"
Irritation grew within Beth, and did not appreciate him cutting her off, "You could have LET me get to that on my own, you know? She was mad that I won, and that rant she had at the finale only got worse when I got the money, AND the man. Right after we filmed, Heather went on a RAMPAGE about the men that I got with; Justin and Harold. She even tried to make it seem like I hooked up with Cody after the finale, which did not happen. Take in mind, "Total Drama Island" was airing it's final few episodes by this time, so she was SPOILING THE SHOW. She tweeted and sent Brady DMs of EVERYTHING, which pissed me off, but I was limited with what I could say due to the contract. Despite that, I called her out for all the producers she had sex with over the two seasons, and then she went out of her way to date Brady. I later got word that she filmed a sex tape of them, but it never got released. I didn't get to spend much time with her until "Revenge", where we were on the boat. I, and several others had questions about her trainwreck relationship with Al, and she got SO pissed off. Kept repeating it over and over again, and she had nowhere to hide. I HATE her."
"Did you have much of a relationship with Izzy? You two were on the same team during your two seasons?"
"Honestly, no," she quickly replied. "On my first season, she just kind of fooled around, wasn't focused, and was following with the colors of the wind. It was the same thing when we were both eliminated, but she spent more time with Eva. You would expect that we would, since Izzy was friends with Lindsay, but it just never happened for her and I. She became very hostile and aggressive during our second season, with the consistent demand of calling her these weird nicknames that no one got the purpose of. She kept on insisting that I didn't have a boyfriend before anyone else did, and thought I was a dumb loony for falling for Justin, and being a good friend to him. I know that they had history, so my loyalty to Justin also made her hostile towards me. After she was booted from "World Tour", I asked her what her issue was with me, and why we never got along. She said something along the lines of me being too thirsty and desperate, and then I replied that she was just jealous that Justin didn't fuck and dump me like she did. I then told her that it says A LOT when Owen gets tired of you, and then she made fun of my looks. This was after Eva choked me, so things were already tense, and she was ready to get involved. I threatened to call the RCMP on her again, and we had to be separated from getting physical."
Justin's picture was put on the table, and Beth just giggled, "Oh goodness, things are so complicated between us, even today. He was just so beautiful, and I've never seen anything so... astounding before, so I was kind of speechless with him. We didn't really speak in that season, due to me being nervous, and him not speaking at all. When we were at "Playa de Losers", he was dealing with Katie and Sadie. Him and Izzy were arguing about their tense relationship, and when I defended him, I think it caught him off guard. We had our first conversation after that altercation, and he told me that he liked my confidence since telling Heather off. He was flirting with me, even back then, and I had no idea how this was going to do. This song and dance continued in "Action", and I accidentally caught him jerking off, which caused me to realize that I was in love. I said earlier that pretty people should be treated as people as well, and he would later tell me that people don't treat him as a person. We would have these personal conversations behind the scenes, and he would place his hands on my upper thigh, or take off his shirt, purse his lips, or place my hand on his crotch. After the prison challenge, he let me... blow him."
"Wow, I'm... actually shocked Justin let you do that to him," Josh admitted, thinking that Beth was too ugly for Justin to submit himself to early. "Do you think there were romantic feelings from the beginning? You were aware that he was using you."
"I was aware, but we had physical... dalliances behind the scenes, and he would tell me REALLY personal stuff behind-the-scenes that he didn't need to tell me. During the prison challenge, and even the hospital challenge, he was so reliant on me, and it felt good. I was starting to get annoyed with him, because he would never reciprocate going all the way with me, but would just tease me. I felt like he was insistent on remaining shallow, and while I did get involved with Brady before the season, it was very on-the-level, and I thought that maybe I should pursue that harder, instead of worrying about Justin. He didn't believe that I had a partner, but he knew that he was losing me." The short woman's entire face started going red for recalling a memory, and biting her lip, "The hair-flip worked on Lindsay, but I needed more convincing. Justin and I made love, and he did it before we voted Izzy off for good. He decided to do all of the work, which meant a lot to me, since Justin doesn't do work at all, and usually has others do it for him in sex. To me, it meant that he really cared about our interactions. He decided that he wanted to release in me, and was whispering all of these nice, sexy things to me."
Josh's mouth widened in utter shock, "You did this... while having a boyfriend. Justin actually decided to put it down... and doing ALL of the work? And BUST it in your tunnel? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! So what happened? You didn't care about him leaving when he was eliminated."
She ran her nervously shaking hands through her hair, "I started to panic at the merge, and he genuinely checked on me, showing that it wasn't just strategic on his end. He was then panicking about his insecurities, with losing his charms and looks, as he gets injured through the episode. After that, he started distancing himself from Lindsay and I, but mainly me. What was the final straw was him voting out Leshawna, instead of Duncan, knowing that's what we wanted. At that point, I believed that he was just using me for the game, and I was PISSED. Him and I got into an argument while the 3rd aftermath was filming, and we cut ties with one another. He got eliminated right afterwards, and I felt bad afterwards, but then forced it out of my mind. He got the assurance from me that he's still very attractive, and I did appreciate his vote. Once he saw Brady, it made him really mad, and he decided to cut communication with me. I broke up with Brady soon afterwards, and we started speaking again. As "Action" aired, I was seeing Harold, and he invited me over to the "Drama Brothers" tour. That ended up with him, Justin and I getting into a threesome, and things got messy after they broke up. When we didn't qualify for "World Tour", Justin and I decided that we were going to have fun just being on the Aftermaths, and we did genuinely have a good time. I would say that we were in a relationship, but he didn't want to make it public, but everyone kind of knew about it. When he was replaced by Alejandro, I was the person who gave him support and reassurance, which he appreciated. We have been on-and-off ever since, but both of us have our issues with taking it to the next level."
"Do you want to do Katie and Sadie together, or separately?" he questioned, though it didn't really matter to him, handing her both of their pictures.
Beth smiled at both of their pictures, "We were some of the first women booted from the first season, and even before I left, I spent some time with Sadie. Her, Lindsay and I would do glam-team activities, with us all encouraging each other to stand up against our bullies. Katie and I bonded in the one round where it was just the two of us at Playa, and Sadie joined us right afterwards. They were really interested in hearing about me being a farm girl, and wanted to help me with getting more experience in the real world. Once Lindsay joined, we became a great quartet, and started talking about how hot we found some of the guys. Sadie has the dorkier personality over the two of them, and she definitely likes gaming more, while Katie is the more athletic and health-obsessed one, and she's a HUGE athlete. I didn't get to see them again until the "Drama Brothers" concerts, but the dynamic changed from there for two reasons. One of them, was that we started sleeping with some of the guys, so it caused our relationships to have tension. And two, it ended up being two on one, especially once we were not on the third season. You saw the slap fight on the first aftermath between the three of us. I was not sure of my relationship with Justin, the two of them were having issues with Trent, and wanted to get with Justin too. Harold was also flirting with the three of us. When Leshawna showed up, he focused exclusively on her, Justin started speaking to me, and Trent took a step back, so our friendships started to repair itself. They are good friends of mine, and people call us the "thoth trio/quartet".
"We've somewhat touched on her before, but I want to go into more detail," Josh started, hanging her Leshawna's picture. "You two seemed to have a love-hate relationship during your time on the show."
Her head went side to side, as she thought about how she was going to speak about the person mentioned, "I somewhat said this before, but Leshawna was the main one who was telling me that Heather meant me no good in "Island", and she told me to get to know the others on my own, without anyone influencing me. She seemed like a sister looking out for their more naive sister. When I finally had enough of Heather, we did start to bond, and she even talked about taking me shopping after the season ended, where she could take me to the projects, and I could take her to the farm. We were that close. We started to strain when she was the most vocal about me allegedly having a fake boyfriend, thinking I wasn't good enough or desirable enough to get a date."
Josh saw an opening for a deeper revelation, and went for it, "Do you think she was on you about this, because you had a slight crush on Harold at this time? Or do you believe that she didn't believe you because you were flirting with others about this time?"
"She does get very protective, and sometimes possessive over Harold, even if they aren't dating. I do think in hindsight, that was a large reason of the strife and tension. It kept on being vocalized SO MUCH to the point that I had to pull her to the side, and confront her about if she's SUPPOSEDLY a sister-like figure, WHY are you doubting me, and throwing so much shade at my situation. She claimed that I was attention-starved, and that I wanted all of the guys to fight for me, since no one gave a FUCK about me back home. I called her out on being a liar (which her team just found out about), and that she probably lied about her weight too. We started going back and forth, and this was BEFORE Courtney even came back. I saw what Leshawna said about us on the spa-trip on the PDA, since the crew were posing teasers on the TD website to hype up the season, and called her out on it. After the dust settled, she pulled me aside, and profusely apologized. She told me all about her family situation, and how she felt like she needed to play dirtier to win, especially since she was rigged out of the season. I've had my messy and selfish moments, so I forgave her."
Beth took a large breath, and drank a bit of water, before continuing her story, "We spent the rest of her time on that season being good friends, and we even bonded over our lust for Justin, Harold, and talking about everyone else. We did a lot of girls day activities, and it reminded me of our time in TDI. ANOTHER fallout happened when she decided to go on those shows with Tyler. I found that to be very shady, and we knew that they were hooking up, which was breaking the girl code to me. Harold and I saw one another during this time, and while that didn't last very long, Leshawna was PISSED. THE. FUCK. OFF. We got into it over a few angry phone calls, and we did not speak again until she was eliminated early from "World Tour". She needed a lot of support over what she went through, and everyone already at the studio was in a zen mood, so we made up. The four of us (with Justin and Harold) actually had a lot of fun, and I also got to spend time with her, Bridgette, Katie, and Sadie. We have remained friends since, and you can see us meeting up every once in a while on social media, but we are not BFFs. The "Drama Brothers" reuniting has helped our friendship."
"This person is going to be easy for you," he moved on, giving Beth a picture of Lindsay. "I am assuming everything was pitch perfect for the two of you at the time, and since."
She shook her head by the incorrect assumption, "Actually no. We had quite a few differences and arguments over the season. I mentioned with Heather that I saw her and Lindsay to be ideal girls, and was thrilled to be a part of their alliance. Lindsay and I got along really well, and we were getting along even before the alliance, which you saw in the second challenge, with us trying to head stand to stay awake. It sounds so ridiculous. I helped her out with getting together with Tyler, and hiding it from Heather for as long as I could. We hosted fashion shows together to entertain ourselves, and the cast. She even engaged with me about a conversation regarding my Girl Scouts. We were always together, especially after Tyler was booted. When Heather and I fell out, she hid behind Heather, instead of not even standing up for me, but standing up for herself. She voted me off then, and I told her she needed to stand up for herself, since no one in the cast respected her for being a follower. I thought that her locking Heather in the fridge with Gwen, Leshawna, and I would be the start of her independence, but she voted me out again. I was definitely hurt and betrayed. When she came to Playa de Losers, I was not the nicest."
Josh moved forward across the desk with the revelation, "So you and Lindsay had a falling out after she was booted. What happened? I have never heard this anywhere."
"I just initially told her that I didn't feel bad for her, since she turned on a true friend twice to stick with someone who didn't like her, and she herself didn't even like. She started crying about how much she made a mistake, and then I went to rush and hug her. Now, I thank Heather because Lindsay and I needed to learn that lesson. We talked about our home lives, and realized that our lives weren't as different as we thought, despite her being rich, and me being a city girl. Lindsay went with me to remove my braces in between seasons. While we were still at Playa, and during "Action", we talked about going to France, and I know we wanted a friendship that was very similar to Katie and Sadie's, which was foolish to envy and aspire to be like, since they grew up together, and had a weird co-dependency issue. Everything was a bit too "lala-land", and the surface cracked early on. We both started to flirt with Justin, and it did cause a strain on our friendship. I was annoyed, since she was already with Tyler from last season, and she's always called "the hot one", so there was some resentment."
She could feel herself getting uneasy, "We started to insult one another, where she called me a copycat, and I called her tanorexic, which I instantly regretted, and it sounds so much worse years later. We both had a lot of insecurities that we were dealing with, like me seeking validation from anyone that I could because I was called ugly and a loser so many times, and she was dealing with the insecurities of not being the smartest person. That happened sooner than later, when she became really bossy, and felt like she had to prove something, but she didn't realize that her attitude was making things worse, so I did vote her out, which I did tell her about afterwards. She also did not believe that I had a boyfriend, which did hurt me, and sometimes, I was shocked with her lack of intelligence at times. Overall, that season really taught me what friendship really is about, and I appreciate that. Lindsay is a good person, with a good soul, who is a lot of friend, and anyone would be lucky to have someone like her in their lives. Friends have disagreements, but you work through them, and being selfless to care for that other person is what's important. We are still very close today. Even when we were arrested in France, nothing broke us up."
"Noah and Owen are next. What do you want to say about them?" Josh mentioned, just wanting to get the last few over with.
Shrugged shoulders were made, "I do not recall any significant interaction with Noah. He was very annoying on his painfully short time on "Island", he spent time speaking to Eva, Izzy, and sometimes Cody on "Playa" only. We were never on another season again together. He found me annoying, I found him annoying, and we never had anything to say to one another afterwards. Owen was someone who I was always on good terms with. He always gave me confidence when I didn't have any on "Island", and we always made food together, as well as hung out by the poolside. He and I took part in quite a few pranks and dares then too. In "Action", we did grow closer due to being on the Killer Grips, and the same antics I described earlier took place. When his jaw was broken, we all got really worried for him, and took care of him as best as we could. I remember when I had to get my braces in, and not being able to eat what I wanted to, so I related to him. He did go crazy with seeing us as food, and trying to bite us, but I still felt bad for him. Owen's a good person, but we aren't close friends or anything. If I see him, or if we attend the same party, we have fun, but that's it."
Josh grabbed two other pictures, and put them down on the table, "So we have two more people that you have competed with. Trent and Tyler. What are your experiences with these two?"
Beth put her index finger on Trent's picture, and looking at it for a while, "It's weird. Heather wanted us to pretend to be nice to him, and to distract him throughout the season. Lindsay flirted with him, but I never felt any attraction towards him. He was very friendly to me, and taught me a lot about music. I could not sing beforehand, if you saw my audition, and he taught me how to sing on key during "Island". His presence was a nice one during the season, and he gave me props for standing up to Heather. We were on the same team again on our second season, and he was doing well, until he completely lost it. He never mentioned his grandfather's 9 situation to anyone beforehand, so it came off as weird. If he told people about his struggles, I think people would have been more sympathetic at the time. Despite our time on "Total Drama", I didn't become close to him until he was a Drama brother. I had a sexual or romantic interaction with everyone else BUT him, so when a lot of the drama was going on, he talked to me like a brother. Katie and Sadie had relations with Trent, and Lindsay had a flirtation with him at some point, but I never did. I know when we sat out on "World Tour", and were on the yacht during "Revenge", we were able to lean on one another in a sibling way, meaning we checked on one another when our egos got too big. I really appreciate Trent for the man and person he is, and he's continued to be a friend of mine. He helped resolve things with Harold, Leshawna and myself when we fell out the second time, he has tried to mend things with Cody, Sierra and I, and he has mended things with Justin and I. There have been several times where Katie, Sadie, and I were fighting, and he forced us to stop. He would even defend me against them, since I was often on my own."
She then moved her index finger to Tyler's picture, "You would expect me to have a lot of interactions with Tyler, since he is, or was Lindsay's boyfriend, but I haven't. We were both early boots on "Island", but we were on opposite teams. He did thank me for helping them hook up once we were both booted, but we did not speak like that. He's a good guy. I was on "Action" the entire time, and he wasn't. Tyler and Lindsay were not together in between seasons. It was in reverse in the next season, which he was on, and I wasn't. I didn't get to know him like that until after "World Tour". Tyler is a good guy, but is very insecure, and needs to work them out, since they ruin and weaken his relationship with Lindsay. There was the one time while the new cast was filming "Revenge", they both came to me for advice on their relationship issues, I gave them both the same advice, but then the situation turned around on me, and they blamed me for their issues. I stepped back from him ever since, with their business being their business. I have no idea what their relationship is like now, since Lindsay and I refuse to speak about it."
"Have you had any noteworthy experiences with Alejandro and Sierra? I know you never competed with them, but the entire first generation were stuck together while the second generation were filming their season," Josh questioned.
A squinted face started to form on Beth, from her recollections, "From the little I did interact with them, neither were good. I felt like Alejandro was provoking a lot of my friends, and he was especially provoking Justin, which was already making him sadder, since he was face-to-face with someone that the producers replaced him with. They were arguing, and I told Alejandro to back off, and to worry about his deteriorating looks and body. I consistently glared at him, and made bitter comments at him. Heather and I argued a few times, and he felt the need to insert himself in our situation, which he knew nothing about. The difference between him and Justin is that Alejandro is truly a bitter, sad individual. Justin really does not intend to hurt anyone, and can be fine to talk to. Despite that, he wasn't even my worst interaction of the two."
Eyebrows were raised from her last sentence, and Josh scooted closer to her, "What happened with you and Sierra?"
"I dated Cody a year or so before Sierra was ever in the picture, and we agreed to end it. At some point, Cody has warmed up to Sierra, and he already sees me as Yoko Ono, due to my relations with Harold and Justin. I wanted to make peace with Cody, and the rest of his group wanted me to as well. We actually had a decent conversation about how things went down, and how we actually had a good friendship that we let go down the drain for the last two years. Sierra shows up, and starts YELLING like a banshee. She tried calling me a slut, ugly, a follower, and mentioned something about my family being ashamed of me. I told her that she's a stalker that needed to be evaluated, and Cody is only with her because he feels sorry for her, feels like he lacks any discernable options, and is scared for his life. During that time, Sierra continuously picked at me for the smallest things, and was bullying me. Several altercations later, I just blurted out that she's mad that Cody had sex with me, and she still hasn't had him. What happened was that she punched me, so I kicked her in the vagina, and we got into a physical fight. Izzy, Lindsay, Eva, Katie, and Sadie got involved, and it caused the cast to be divided. Cody has REFUSED to speak to me ever since, while Sierra and I continue to take shots at one another on social media."
"Interesting, very interesting indeed", he noted. "Have you met any of the contestants from the second or third generations?"
She clearly had to think long and hard about it, "I met Zoey a few times actually. Apparently she didn't live far from me, and we would do some TD events together. Very nice person. Through her, I met Mike and Cameron too, and we got along. I am closer to Cameron and Zoey though, since we all have more similar backstories. I also met Dawn and B, who I went to meet because they were making some special ointment that Justin wanted me to get. I haven't had the opportunity to meet anyone from the third cast, since I was removed from the TD world by the time that season aired by a few years."
"Alright, that's fair enough," he commented before preparing his stuff, "My final question to you is what have you learned from the show, and what have you been up to since?"
The answer came out pretty easily for Beth, "One of the main things I learned about is how to maintain friendships. I never really had experiences with that before the show, and all of my friends were animals. Embracing my beauty, whether it's an unconventional one was also very important to me. Being a strong person, and sticking with your principles is what I also had to learn. The show opened me up to real life, and I am forever grateful for what it did to me. There were a lot more pros than cons, and I'm glad that I never got to be a competitor after my winning season, so I could just sit back, and enjoy everything about the show from being a commentator. Lindsay and I started a makeup and jewelry line, where I had to create a lot of the designs and color schemes for the product, since I've always been good at the arts and science. We've had that going for about 5 years now, and when I'm not doing that, I am an animal activist for farm animals, where I have since become a vegetarian due to it. One goal I have for right now is being a touring blogger, since I am starting to have to travel more and more, studying different places to learn more about their art/society, and to preserve more lands that are being endangered."
Josh got up to shake Beth's hand, as she stood up as well, "That sounds great Beth, and you seem like you're in a good place. Thank you for the interview, and you were a lot easier to deal with than my last person. I wish you well."
The short woman went out of her way to hug him, before waving her hand to the producers and camera crew, "Thank you all for bringing me here, and take care everyone." She was soon out of the room, and skipped out of the building to go on with her life.
