"What are your overall thoughts on Lindsay? I never really remembered the two of you having any solid interactions."
Harold took her picture, and thought about it for a while, "Honestly, we never interacted too much, especially on "Island". I didn't like how she was flirting with Trent after Tyler got booted, so I did politely call her out on it, but she clearly did not appreciate it. After we were both booted, we did hang out with Beth and Tyler at Playa de Losers. We did get closer during "Action", and would make fun of Duncney together. She did speak to me about Tyler a lot through the season, and I asked her for advice about Leshawna through the season. When the Drama Brothers blew up, her and Beth spent a lot of time with us, and when I was with Beth, Lindsahy really wasn't sleeping around."
"Did you ever hook up with her? And how were things with "World Tour"? "
"No, I never went there with her, and I never wanted to go there with her, which was why I was so irritated when Tyler decided to go there with Leshawna. In my opinion, he crossed bro code, and I was PISSED. She was also PISSED at the both of them, so we got closer to that. What they didn't show on "World Tour" is that the four of us got into a huge blowout over it. I do think Lindsay pretended to forget Tyler existed because she was REALLY MAD at him. By the end of the season, we were all very close, and started going on double dates together. We speak and see one another occasionally."
Josh sighed at the revelation, "Interesting. It sucks when what they show on camera is boring as hell, but the behind-the-scenes is juicier. Anyways, what do you think of Noah?"
Harold rolled his eyes as he was handed a picture, "Noah's a fucking hater. He claims to be the smartest person on the show, but didn't know anything about half the facts I mentioned, proving that I have the more superior brain. He's always making shady and sarcastic comments about me, but he's a weak bitch himself, as some of my friends would say. I tried to bond with him at Playa de Losers, on some nerd power stuff, but he was jealous. He got mad that everyone thought he was gay and a loser, so Cody started getting closer to me over him, and it pissed him off. When Justin and I became friends, that was another reason why his hatred for me grew. I asked him what's up when he got booted, because he was talking about me, and we fought. He got beat up, and that was that. Noah knew to step the fuck back after that. How do you clout chase by being on every show possible, and STILL be broke? What's funny is that even on that spinoff show, he was STILL talking trash about me, and thought that Geoff, who lives near me, wouldn't tell me. So when I was told everything, I confronted Noah AGAIN, and asked him to stop talking about me. I made a shady comment about him paying to buy a girlfriend, and that Sierra and Eva were right about him. He tried to fight me again, but he got beat up, AGAIN."
"DAMN, NERD FIGHT," Josh cackled, as he started slapping his knees. It took him a while to recover, before he was able to grab the next picture. "Anyways, you did hate on Owen throughout the end of your time of "Action". How do you feel about Owen overall?"
"Well, I did respect his farting and burping powers, and we did get along about all of that stuff in "Island", though we were never that close. Us going against one another in Dodgeball was one of the best moments for the both of us, and we laugh about it years later. We had a lot of fun through "Action", and we did a lot of guy gossip with one another, and he would be on the lookout when Leshawna and I would have our sexry rendez-vous. We also hung out with Justin a lot with just doing a lot of games, and tanning together. My issue with him was how he acted when he returned, and while I get that Chris wanted him to do it, what that revealed to me is that Owen would do ANYTHING for fame."
Josh looked relatively quizzical, "But that's why all of you were on the show. I never got why you were so upset with him of all people."
Harold rolled his eyes, "One, he chose Duncan over I when we continued to beef, after he was telling me to stand up for myself, and how he would always be supportive. He also made some shady comments on social media, so I wrote a few songs inspired by the "Total Drama" cast. Him and Noah being good good friends also rubbed me the wrong way, and I would be lying if I said otherwise. We're fine now, but we aren't friends at all."
"What were your experiences with Sierra?"
"The only thing I remember is her trying to hook up with all of us during that streaking event. I rejected her, Justin rejected her, and Trent rejected her, but Cody ended up sleeping with her. I didn't get the chance to interact with her on the third season, but I DID interact with her when we were on the yacht. I told her that she needed to give Cody some space if they ever wanted a healthy relationship, and she literally not only cursed me out, but she tried to fight me. LeGoddess had to get involved, and I told Cody about it. Sierra and I continued to get into fights, since I was not scared of telling her how much of a nutbag she was. I was not shocked that they broke up after "All-Stars", and I'm glad that she calmed down, but I don't care to interact with her at all."
Josh shook his head in agreement, "I don't blame you. For the little time she worked on "Manhunt", she was beyond scary. Anyways, how was your dynamic with the other Drama Brother Trent?"
Harold started to softly laugh, "Honestly, we didn't speak much during "Island". All he cared about was Gwen, I thought he was a simp, and we were on opposite teams. It wasn't until after he was booted where we started to slowly get along, as we talked about music, and I appreciated him for looking out for me. He was telling me about the stuff that was said about me on that guys weekend, and he apparently stood up for me, which pissed Duncan off. "Action" happened, and then he started acting weird again, because he was with Gwen. He called me flaky in the confessionals, and to my face which wasn't shown, so I did agree with Duncan on Trent being so obsessed with Gwen, and that his 9 obsession came from that. Trent's like a different person when he isn't in a serious relationship. Cody and I started the Drama Brothers, and Cody reached out to Trent. The two of us essentially wrote everything, and people saw as the "stars" of the group. It was cool to see him in his element, and for Trent to gain some of his individuality, which is when he's a great person. It was nice to have someone who knew what they were doing, they were passionate about it, and someone who I could vibe with."
"So where did things go wrong, and how did it lead to the breakup?"
"Trent was getting gassed up by the label, and we were starting our second album when the whole Gwent breakup played out on the show. They wanted to make it all about him, and even the latter music videos for our first era showed him off A LOT more than everyone else. He was pissed off about the direction of our music, and he wanted to do a bunch of sappy music that only he cared about. Justin and Cody never said anything about it, so I had to be the big bad guy, and Trent decided to take shots at my rapping and contributions to the group. We went back and forth about this for a while, and I decided to leave, since Trent felt like it was his group. It wasn't until the breakup and the floppage happened, where him and I exchanged a sincere phone call, and decided to clear everything up. We were talking about signing a new contract and working on another album, but I was pulled into the third season. Right after I quit, he helped Justin and I mend our issues properly. We recorded "Baby" right after I arrived, since they felt like I should let my feelings about it be revealed. When we performed it at the Aftermaths, which are always pre-recorded, a soundbite of it ended up leaking online, and radio caught a hold of it right after we performed it, so it forced us to start our third era immediately. That song just TOOK OFF, and we had to record the entire album, while promoting the single. It really brought Trent and I closer together, and we were finally able to work through our creative issues, though him and Leshawna arguing about Katie and Sadie made things awkward, because he was dating them both."
His mouth was chapped from what was revealed, "Trent and Leshawna fighting? Interesting to pin for later. How did things between the two of you go after the show was done?"
Harold couldn't keep the huge smile out of his face, "We finished our third Drama Brothers era, and that lasted for... a good year and a half. It was our most successful, and we both did some collaborations as producers, and artists. We've even created a few jingles for commercial, video games, and all of that. Trent was telling me in "World Tour" that after him and Gwen started speaking after the third aftermath, things... started to rekindle like they were in the first season. I didn't want him to lose his individuality, and the growth into the badass that he was at the time, but I knew how much he missed her, and Gwen was hanging out with Leshawna and I a lot more. Gwen was telling us how miserable she was in her relationship, so we kind of executed a year-long plan to get them back together. Both of us have our own successful careers, and we go on bro vacations together just the two of us once or twice a year. We were planning on proposing to them together, but I beat him to.. Nevermind. Anyways, Trent has been a really supportive friend of mine over the years, and he has helped me become a lot more social."
"Last but not least is Tyler. Apparently you two have always been good friends, but NONE of it was shown on the show. Why do you think that was, and take us through your journey with him."
"Tyler and I initially didn't get along. I think this happened because he thought he was in the "cool" crew, until they told him in the dodgeball challenge how he sucked even more than I do, and that he's sabotaging the team with his hookups with Lindsay. He balled his eyes out, and it was due to him never dealing with being unpopular before. After that challenge, Duncan, DJ, and Geoff started harassing him VERY badly, and while I was being left alone for a bit, I hated seeing them bully him, so I stood up for him. He appreciated it, and we started bonding over video games, and our adventurous personalities. We hung out a lot after I was booted, and we played a bunch of sports together. He told me about his father, and I felt bad for him. We got close then, but things took a turn once the second season came and went. He asked me to partake in one reality show, and I said I couldn't due to the band, and... he not only went with Leshawna, but they hooked up, and lied about it. I found out about it by the press showing tangible evidence, so I cursed him out, and he cursed me out. We didn't speak until the bus on the way to "World Tour". We seemed to be getting back in good graces on my last episode, but I then quit, and found out that he was kissing up to Al. He told me EVERYTHING his former friend said once he was booted, and apologized for the mess with Leshawna. We were happy that we finally got the women we've wanted for years, and the four of us spent a lot of time together after the season. I was even at their wedding a few years back. He was also one of the people who helped me get this toned, sexy-but-nerdy that I'm rocking now. Tyler is cool people, though we aren't as close as I am with my bandmates."
Josh stretched his arms and fingers, now that he doesn't have to flip through pictures, "So you never got to compete with the second or third generation casts, but I am sure you met some of them over the years. You can just tell me about the ones you have met, and say whatever you want to say."
"Hand me a pen and paper," Harold politely asked, and was received his requested items some seconds later. He started writing things down, and looked like hw as organizing things with his fingers, "Alright, so from the "Revenge" cast, Sam and I are like brothers from another mother. People think we have similar voices, but I think those people are on drugs. We met when the cast came on our yacht after filming, and we just HIT IT OFF. He wanted help with adjusting Dakota back to real life, and Leshawna, Bridgette, and I were right there. She's a sweetheart, and I suggested to her that she sued the HELL out of Chris, and she did. Everyone from all seasons supported her through the journey. I see Sam and Dakota on a regular basis. Brick had a GOOD ASS TIME with the Drama Brothers and Tyler when we all met up during the filming of "All-Stars". Did you know that he could sing and rap his ass off? Anyways, the clothes I'm wearing comes from his fashion line. So you can thank him for the H-Bomb looking... the bomb. Anne Maria was... A LOT to get used to, and while we aren't besties, I have grown to like her. Her and Leshawna are pretty close. B is someone that I've hung around with quite a lot, as we've played several game tournaments together and bond over technology. Whenever Bridgette hosts her events or parties, Dawn tends to be there, and we hang out. I don't really deal with the others from that cast, though I really rode hard for Mike when Al tried to harass him. Cameron is also cool, but him and Cody have this weird feud, and I'm backing my boy. I see Mike, Cameron, and Zoey at least once or twice a year. Zoey is probably the one I see the most, though she reminds me of Gwen with how judgmental she can be at times."
"So, what about the "Pahkitew Island" cast?"
"I met Dave once, and he reminded me of Noah, so I kept it at that. Leonard and I got into an argument during one of Geoff's parties around the "Race". Justin and Topher became really good friends, so I've had to deal with him quite a bit, and he's alright. I like his snark and style. Shawn and I spent time together once a bunch of the TD women went to Australia for Bridgette's surfing competition, and he had me walking around in the woods for like a week. It was really fun, but really odd with some of the methods he used. Jasmine is a really down-to-earth girl, and she's taught me a lot about life in general whenever we hang out. Sammy is cool, since she sometimes comes along with them, or she is with Topher when I am hanging out with Justin, but that drama is a lot. There's a dark side to her though. Sky is pretty unremarkable, and Sugar is utter trash. I'm glad Leshawna beat her ass at the spinoff party. That's it for that cast."
"Good. Last but not least is Leshawna, and I know this one is gonna be long. Talk normally, and don't go on with a bunch of soliloquies. I also want to know how the fuck you two got together after almost fighting on the first day? The show did an awful job of explaining it."
Harold just started blushing profusely, "I still can't believe it looking back. I've heard about the "sassy black woman" by what I saw on TV, and what people say about women like her. Seeing Leshawna was exciting, but scary as well, since I've never seen someone like her, and I didn't know how to react. I said the wrong things, and Leshawna later on told me why saying she's "big" and "loud" was offensive. What no one knows is that during the sleeping challenge, I apologized to her for reacting to her that way, and Leshawna told me to not feel sorry for her, and that she would crush me, since I reminded her of every white person who has said rude comments to her. The dodgeball challenge was when I realized how attracted to her I was, where she called me a string bean, and whooped my ass in that challenge. I genuinely wanted to learn more about her as a person, but every time we spoke, it didn't go well, so I decided to write anonymous letters."
Josh started lightening up, "Yes, the infamous letters. Chef mentioned how juicy the letters are, but NO ONE knows what were in the letters. And when did these letters start being written?"
"I started at around the talent show challenge. They were initially simple, mentioning how I wanted to be anonymous, that she's a great person that deserves to be cherished, and that there's a lot more to her that deserves to be shown. What I didn't expect was for Leshawna to reply back to me, so she started writing me letters. She would leave them under her bed, and wrote to me that we would drop letters to one another every other day, with me picking hers up every morning at 6 AM. They then turned VERY erotic on both ends, and we talked about our sexual fantasies. She wanted me to reveal who I was, and I told her that it would ruin the fantasy. Leshawna revealed to me her fears, not wanting to be seen as a stereotype, and her insecurities about her weight, and I talked about my insecurities. When I was voted out, it was only right that she knew, and everything just came together for that amazing kiss. We got to spend like 2-3 weeks together once she was finally booted, and it was nice for the both of us to have those conversations in person. I could tell that she was getting scared, and was thinking about the real world, but I wasn't expecting her to break up with me, since I KNEW that she liked me."
He was doubtful of this, "Why would you think that? She told you and everyone that your relationship was not meant to be, and she had no interest in you romantically like that, but you wouldn't let up. Was she telling you different things?"
Harold got annoyed with Josh doubting him, but he tried not to show it, "Leshawna told me before the season that she was not expecting there to be another season, and that things would be hard with us being platonic. We decided to work together for the season, and I told her that I loved her, which she ignored. People thought I was making up that her eyes were undressing me, but they were. She admitted to me that ever since seeing my long, meaty schlong after the cooking challenge, she fantasized herself riding it. She thanked me for being the only one to support her dancing, and when she saw Duncan picking on me in the cowboy episode, it really riled her up, and she cursed him out for me. We started having discussions about our lives, and she was telling me about how she was worried about Gwen. When Gwen hit me with the shovel, I knew Leshawna still had feelings for me, since she booted Gwen, her BEST FRIEND over it. After Gwen was booted, I questioned why she did it, and LeGoddess couldn't deny her INSTANT attraction for me, so we... made love."
"Ewwwwwww. The VISION that just came into my mind from that is just too gross. I can't believe she gave you the good stuff. But she bashed the HELL out of you to her cousin right afterwards, so it clearly was wretched as fuck. How did you feel about that?"
"FUCK OFF, GOSH! Leshawna lied to her cousin about me, especially since she came back for some of the H-Bomb Dong that same night. We kept on having our secret love affair for a few episodes, and even in the episode, you see her clinging onto me for comfort like we're a couple when Owen was being taken to the hospital. Leshawna was acting like how we were when we were dating after she was booted from last season, as she was complimenting me, taking care of me, and flirting with me behind the scenes. I didn't care about her fake crying for the reward, since all three of us have done worse than she did. Leshawna appreciated me from stopping them from hitting her, which I thought was too far in their direction. We continued our... trysts, but I was in the outhouse for leaving her in the vault for the entire episode. Seeing her in that cave outfit brought something out of me, and I could tell she was checking me out too. She started using flirty terms with me through that entire episode, saved me from those beavers, and we... made love once again after we ate the eggs we cooked together. She told me about wanting to get out of the projects, and to also help out underprivileged communities, which really drew me to her."
Josh yawned, as he was starting to get increasingly bored, "Yeah, we knew that you and Leshawna had a secret relationship. Get to the good points. How did you feel when she said you were a cassette tape in the era of MP3s, and how did you feel about voting her off?"
Harold gave Josh a raspberry tongue due to his rude antics, "It pissed me off, and all of my doubts about her came true. She cared more about her reputation than she did about me, and it pissed me off. While I kept her in the game over Heather, I never fully got over it, and we weren't being as affectionate as usual, despite still being friendly enough. I think she noticed the change, so she wasn't shocked when she was voted out. It was a stupid move to let Duncan and Courtney talk me into it, but I didn't want to get played by her, and I didn't want to be the nerd that was being kept in secret. I asked her after I was booted that if she was ready to commit into a relationship with me, which was something we discussed all season. When she said no, I let her go. We still visited one another, and hung out in between seasons, but it was platonic. Things got... VERY messy when she and Justin had their hookups, and Beth and I got into a relationship. I thought she was being unfair, expecting me to wait around while she flirted with a bandmate of mine. We then agreed that we could sleep with other people, but to tell the other first. We told each other about Beth and Justin, but I was BLINDSIDED with her and Tyler. When word of Heather and I's... whatever got around, Leshawna was FURIOUS. She cursed me out in ways that I never thought, and I defended myself, since she slept with Tyler, and didn't tell me. We were not on good terms entering "World Tour", hence that awkward confessional between us right before going on the season."
"Ohhhh, that makes sense. How did things go between you in "World Tour"? Neither one of you lasted long, but it seemed like you two were on edge, and very angry with one another?"
"We had no romantic or sexual encounters for a while up to that point, and we were still trying to figure things out with our FRIENDSHIP. I turned into a bit of an ass due to the Drama Brothers, and going solo. I apologized to her a few times, and we agreed that we wouldn't hook up on the season, but we would give it a chance outside of the game, and she was still dealing with Lindsay being pissed off at her. It was a very weird entanglement, I was trying to make up with Tyler, and we knew very early on that the producers were out to get our team. Everything was just so hard to deal with, her and I were getting more and more frustrated with one another, I was worried about recording the next album for the band, and I thought that quitting would be a good thing, before things got a lot worse. Seeing her continue to flirt with Alejandro, and what Bridgette told me about them once she got booted pissed me off. She then apologized to me on her boot episode for entertaining Alejandro, while continuing to do so. When Leshawna arrived, I did not speak to her for the first 2-4 days. When we finally did speak (with the aiding of Geoff and Bridgette), I told her off. I told her that she wasn't shit, and she shouldn't have made that promise if she was never going to mean it. I was tired of her stringing me along, and she... she broke down crying. She confessed her love to me, and I have never seen her be so vulnerable. We spent the rest of the season getting to know one another outside of the competition, and it was nice. We went to Wonderland, the CN Tower, the Science Center where we had some great conversations, and even drove to Niagara Falls with a group of people. Performing with her in the second Aftermath was fun, and going to the hospital together after the third Aftermath was an experience. We discussed our dreams, and decided that we were going to make it work after the season. We both decided to go after the show legally, and I think it's why we never came back, not even for a cameo."
Josh wanted to wrap things up, "How have things been for the decade after the show? I remember the Drama Brothers blew up bigger than ever at that point. And you've been together for a decade. What was the process of that?"
Harold let out a HUGE sigh, "After the show, "Baby" blew up, so Trent, Justin and I went right back to work. Leshawna was a part of the video for the song, and it became a HUGE hit. I was on tour, and she decided to come along with us to see the experience. After that era finished, Leshawna wanted me to meet her family for the first time, and... it wasn't a great first meeting. They were grilling me, and threw out their "white boy" jokes, but I stood up for myself, and I think they were expecting me to be a punk. They thought I was the reason she moved across the country, though that happened before we were even dating, and after the second season. I didn't move in with her until after the fourth season. When the group started slowing down, as well as the show, Leshawna and I went out of our way to improve our bodies, so we went to several intensive workout regimes and programs, since we wanted to be as healthy as we could be. Being in an interracial relationship took a toll on us. We both got a lot of hate, since black men feel entitled to her, and white women feel entitled to me. The both of us have written a bunch of jingles for cartoons, shows, movies, and all of that stuff, while starring in a bunch of workout/dance videos, which are VEYR successful. I'm glad we both are slowly getting into production, and I'm ready to start a family with her. She's been giving OBVIOUS hints about wanting to get a ring, but I'm gonna make her wait for it a bit longer. We've had our few breaks, but we've been happy."
"Alright final question. What have you been up to since your time on the show?"
"So we had 2 more eras for the Drama Brothers, and that ended around the time "All Stars" finished. That took up quite a bit of time, but in between albums, I was doing features for other artists, while getting into songwriting and producing. Trent and I decided to do a duet album, and it was successful enough, as we had solo songs, and shared songs. Gwen and Leshawna helped a lot with the artwork of the album. After that, I decided to back away from the music industry, and started investing into Steve's camp programs. He said that I helped his business boost a lot after "Action", and made me a part owner of the company, so I oversee a lot of the choices, and helped with the branding now. In general, I spend a lot of time helping Steve out with coming up with new programs, updating the older ones, and I feel great that I have a platform to help children and the youth. Leshawna and I made a lot of money from our workout videos, and the jingles that we did for several production companies. Life is going great, and I'm hoping that we can finally start a family together. We both love helping people out, and I feel like we're both in a place where we can bring children in the world, and to finally the the knot. We decided on making the engagement a long one, but I want to get married sooner than later."
Josh couldn't help but smile from Harold's warm sentiments, "What did you learn from the show?"
He thought about it for a while, and didn't respond for a minute, "What I learned is to embrace your awkwardness, personality, and interests. There will always be a group of people that like you for your skills and personality, even if you're seen as an oddball. Don't let people walk all over you, and don't let people silence you. There is so much radness within the world, and many different perspectives of things, and you should open your eyes to them, in order to be a better and more giving person. I never thought I would have had a successful musical career before the show. I never thought I would meet someone like Leshawna, and be in a relationship with her for a decade. I never thought that I would be friends with people like Trent, Justin, Geoff, DJ, Tyler, Bridgette, Anne Maria, Brick, Shawn, Jasmine, and so many others. I'm really grateful for the show, and it's helped me out more than I think it helped out many others. The H-Bomb is blessed."
"Well, you sound like you're in a good headspace, and I'm proud of you," Josh warmly told Harold, as he got up to shake his hand. "Thank you for coming today, and I hope things continue to go well for you."
Harold embraced the handshake, "It was a pleasure reliving things Josh. Hopefully the network will give you a show too. Take care everyone." He waved to everyone in the production crew, before swiftly making his exit out of the room and building.
