Trinity: Here is a lengthy chapter for you like you wanted. Hope you will enjoy this one.
Everything was rainbows and butterflies for Madhav but in his heart there was bit of fear as well. He was not used to this much happiness, much more all at the same time. Moreover, what he has with Prabh may not be forever. Three days are left to spend in this village that Madhav used to hate but now this is the best place in world to him. He is getting attached with Prabh way too much and at this rate their separation will definitely leave a wound in his heart which may take a while to heal. There is nothing he can do; his parents won't accept them and Prabh's parents must be even more narrow minded. They will loath their son like he is some kind of a criminal. Madhav could barely think about that.
Madhav was in the room upstairs, he was sitting by the window that faced the street outside. He was looking outside at different people talking, kids playing and also catching a glimpse of two love birds. He sat there for the whole afternoon just watching people without them knowing that there may be a person observing them. He thought what if someone caught him and Prabh? How will they react? Probably, they would tell their parents and that would be disastrous. He answered his own questions. He was free and alone, Parth was not home and Prabh was in town. Prabh had messaged him about his trip to the town. There was nothing much do for Madhav. So, he was just thinking.
The question, "What will happen if they both got caught?" came up again in his mind. Madhav didn't wanted to know the answer. Even in 21st centaury, in India Gays are not fully accepted in towns and cities where people are more educated. So, one can probably form a notion about rural people's point of view towards gays. Until now, Madhav always thought that something was wrong with him; he always felt 'the odd one' in his friend group. But now he had found a perfect person who he can cherish for rest of his life and an amazing, supportive brother. Madhav thought Parth is much better than his so-called educated friends who would definitely have made his life an actual hell if they had found out that Madhav is gay.
There is something different about today.
Thought Madhav, there was tranquility not the good kind, an eerie one. This made Madhav feel a little strange, he felt like something bad is going to happen. But what? That was the real question. Madhav shook the thought from his mind. It was nearly 4:30 pm, Madhav was called down to have a snack with tea. Parth had also came back, he was his usual cheery self; happy and energetic. His presence made Madhav's mood a little better but there was something that Parth wanted to say but couldn't in front of others. Madhav understood what he wanted to talk about and he left and went to his room. A little after, Parth came. Madhav's body was tensed and he was scared.
"Well, you remember those boys who came to play with us." said Parth in casual tone which made Madhav more worried.
"Yes." replied Madhav, uneasiness clear in his voice.
"I didn't mention it earlier but actually one of the boys had found you guys before us." Parth broke off, he took a deep breath. "He founded you guys five minutes earlier than us.
"Wait what! Why didn't he told us to come out?" Madhav was furious with rage.
"Actually, he heard you guys whispering and tried to eavesdrop." said Parth, he was watching Madhav awkwardly. "And he heard Prabh saying, 'do you mind' or something like that." embarrassment rushed through Madhav's body. It was too personal, that moment was too special and now he is coming to know that someone was there eavesdropping.
"And?" said furious Madhav.
"I met him today. He told me that he thinks you guys were making out in that bathroom." Madhav's fist clenched and he was shaking with fury. He hated the boy and the fact that he was saying this to everyone was like a salt on wound. "He didn't say anything in front of Prabh because he is scared of him. But don't worry I told the boy to drop this topic." Madhav stayed quiet, he was calming down.
"I just want to say you guys should be more careful. I think that boy might be keeping tabs on you. He has a history with Prabh." said Parth as casually as he could.
"Wait what? I don't follow." said Madhav in confusion. A boy might be there to get them, it was hard to believe.
"Just stay alerted and careful when you guys are together." said Parth and he walked out.
Sun was starting to set; the clouds were becoming bright orange making sky look like it is on fire. Madhav remembered that his Naniji says that when during the sunset if the sky turns orange, it will rain. OfCourse, Madhav does not believe it but he is fascinated by old people's theories about nature. Madhav thought about his conversation with Parth. The fact he could be watched by a stranger is surreal and the fact that Prabh is feared by other boys in village for some reason doesn't sit right with Madhav. He was about to go down, when he heard someone hooting. Madhav decided to check it out and he saw Prabh standing on the road looking at him. At that moment, Madhav forgot about the boy and everything else. Once again, he was set under some kind of trance by Prabh which he didn't want to break. He was a sight to Madhav's sore eyes, he smiled and signed Madhav to come down. Madhav rushed downstairs and went outside.
Prabh and Madhav went to the ground and they stood facing each other. Prabh was ready to kiss him but Madhav turned away from him. Prabh had disappointed look on his face. He grabbed his hand which Madhav also jerked off. Now, Prabh was getting really scared. Before he could say anything Madhav spoke.
"I am so sorry but first listen me out." said Madhav apologetically and he told him everything Parth had told him. Madhav could feel Prabh anger as he was clenching his fist and he was about to go. Madhav put his hand on his chest and instantly removed it, fearing that someone might see them. This made matters only worse.
"Please don't do anything stupid." said Madhav trying to stop Prabh because he was sure Prabh was going to get the boy.
"Don't stop me Madhav." said Prabh angrily and Madhav almost flinched. Prabh noticed it and he calmed down. "Sorry." he said.
"Don't worry about it." said Madhav as casually he could.
He as an emotional range of teaspoon. Well, I have to make it work.
"Let's forget about it. I have a place we can go to." said Prabh enthusiastically. Madhav thought about it, he didn't want to risk getting caught but against those fierce eyes his protest was in vain. Prabh moved towards the north-east side of the village. This was part of the village that Madhav was seeing for the first time. Here, there were a smaller number of houses and people.
Oh, so this why is chose this place. Here is hardly anybody around.
Prabh stopped in front of abandoned house, the house was empty but it was not trash. It was fairly clean house. The front gate was open and the rest of the house was locked. Madhav had a really weird feeling like he was sensing eyes on him; like he was being watched. He just thought he was being paranoid.
"The owners of this house are living abroad and hardly people come here." said Prabh, he was smug on his idea of finding this house. He led the way inside and they entered a small shed behind the house. Madhav was not liking it but he wanted to be with Prabh. The shed was not small, it was empty and it had window that was opened facing the fields outside.
Prabh was not in the mood of talking, he grabbed Madhav by his waist and pulled him closer to him. Madhav flushed with shyness and he faced away towards the window. It was spectacular outside; the sun was halfway set, the birds flying away into the endless sky and the whole setting seemed like a movie set; romantic and filled with love. Prabh placed his fingers on Madhav's chin and gently moved his face towards him. This time Madhav allowed him to face Prabh. Their eyes met, Madhav was still as impressed as he was the first time with those bold eyes, he could look into them forever and ever. Their noses were almost touching, Madhav was again in Prabh's hold.
"I love you so much." whispered Prabh with utmost affection. Prabh was so bold which impressed Madhav more.
"I love you." replied Madhav and then they were kissing. Madhav could never get used to this feeling, kissing Prabh was the thing Madhav could do anytime of the day. Madhav wrapped his arms around Prabh's neck and clung to him like his life depended on it. Prabh was everything to Madhav and he didn't want to lose him.
Suddenly, there was a rustling sound outside like someone just stepped on dry leaves. Madhav broke Prabh's embrace and looked out the window, what he saw made his heart stop. Before it got away, Madhav was able to see a phone's flashlight and outline of a boy. Whoever was out there, was recording both of them and instantly fled when he was noticed. It took no time to Prabh to understand what had happened. Prabh was furious, he was shivering with anger. He rushed outside in order to catch the person. This time Madhav didn't stop him.
"Meet me at ground." said Prabh and he ran. Madhav was paralyzed, all his fears came true. His eyes were watering. The thought of someone having his and Prabh's video of them making out sent chills to his bones. Madhav may have stood in the shed for some time until he realized that he had to meet Prabh.
It was almost night, Madhav's parents would be worried about him but only thing that was going inside his mind was that he has to meet Prabh and hope the he might have caught the person and destroyed their phone. He had just reached the ground, when Prabh came. He was sweating and panting. His expression gave away that he was unsuccessful in catching the person.
"What happened? Did you find him?" the answer was clear but Madhav wanted to hear otherwise. Prabh nodded "No" and Madhav froze.
"Don't worry, everything will be alright." consoled Prabh but his voice was shaky and he was not sure about what he had said. He kissed Madhav and they both went home. Madhav was scolded for coming home late but he didn't react. He was saved by Parth, he told others that he had challenged Madhav to go to the fields alone. Parth took the blame for him.
After eating dinner, Madhav went to his room. Parth followed him and locked the door.
"What happened?" asked Parth, he was really worried. "Did Prabh hurt you?"
"No" said Madhav and he stared crying, Parth hugged him. Madhav told him what had actually happened. Parth was shocked and couldn't believe it. He tried to calm Madhav and told him to go to sleep. Madhav fell to sleep in no time.
Madhav was woken up by Parth, it was 11 in the night. Parth seemed scared and he heard people arguing outside. Madhav recognized his father's voice and...
