A/n: Ignore my mistakes.

It was drizzling, it was a thunderstorm. Once again naniji's prediction about the weather was accurate, she knew it will rain without the help any technology. Amazing thought Madhav.

It was 11 in the night, Madhav was asleep and he was dreaming. He had forgotten about everything that has happened today, in his dream he was with Prabh and he wanted nothing more. But it's an universal fact that a love story is not that easy and simple.

"Hey! Wake up." A voice said, it was pretty familiar voice and it seemed to be the enemy of their love story. Madhav ignored it because he wanted to focus on just one person, Prabh. Again, the voice came, this time Madhav was being shaken and finally the dream was over. Grunting Madhav opened his eyes, he was facing towards the window. He could see sky occasionally turning blue due to lighting. Water droplets were sliding down the glass window.

I will kill him for waking me up.

There were noises outside the room, unusual noises. It was like there were a lot of people outside. He heard someone shouting and then he heard his father's voice trying to calm the aggressive man. But who was he? What was happening?

"Madhav please wake up." There was something strange in Parth's voice; it was shaky and there was fear. Madhav rolled towards him, Parth was standing there, white as a ghost and scared. Everything that happened that day came right to his memory like a water bucket being dumped directly on him. The fear and humiliation were the after effects. Someone recorded him and Prabh and the person was still out there with the tape.

"It's Prabh's father, the boy told him about you and Prabh." Said Parth. Madhav was cold as ice, he lost his senses. His heart was beating rapidly. He wanted to bury himself alive. The worst imaginable thing that Madhav was trying to avoid has happened. His parents now know the truth. The thing that is much worse is that Prabh's father knows about him. At this moment, he was not worried about himself but about Prabh.

Madhav thought; I guess this is love, no matter how worse the situation is, you will always put your loved one first. You will become selfless for the one person and they will become the centre of your universe. Everything will revolve around them and you will want to spend your entire time with them.

It was now time to face the reality; everyone knows about him and Prabh. What will happen now? What will happen to Prabh? But most importantly what will happen to their love? Madhav was now feeling sick, he sat up grabbing his stomach like it was aching. He was nauseous and just wanted to hide, hide forever in the abyss where no one could catch him. Funny it was as all of this started just because of a simple game of hide and seek. When he and Prabh had hidden together and they came close, much closer that it will leave everlasting pain when they will be separated. But separation was roaming on Madhav's head like a fly flying over piece of sugar.

Only thing now Madhav could do was just prepare himself for the worst. Madhav was just sitting emerged in his thoughts. When the door of the room swung open and silhouette of a man and woman entered the room. Madhav became restless, fear overcame him and he was shaking. Then the light was turned on. Madhav looked up and saw his mother and father standing there glaring at him.

It's all over, I don't want live anymore.

They all just stared at each other and silence was deafening. Madhav could not stand it and he stood up; he was just going say something. When his father held his hand and started taking him out. Madhav followed without any protest because he knew that there is no escaping now. His mother was silent behind him. They were headed toward the living room and the man was still shouting and yelling now at his Mamaji. Parth was standing just outside the room, he was on the verge of crying. He gave a 'everything will be okay' look to Madhav when they looked at each other.

The environment inside was completely different from outside, Madhav could sense the tension, heat and anger inside. All the members were gathered there along with Prabh's Dad and Prabh himself. He was standing with his head down, Madhav could see that his cheeks were red and fingers were imprinted on them. His father must have slapped him, Madhav's heart dropped and tear fell from his eyes but he quickly stopped them. He noticed that his mother saw this and her expressions were softened a little.

Prabh's father turned around when they entered and he stared directly at Madhav. His glare was burning a hole in Madhav, he was sacred; scared for his life. Prabh's father seemed like a pshyco, he was sweating and shivering in anger. He looked up and down at Madhav and started abusing Madhav.

"You are a fat f****, you are responsible for my son having this defect. I know you tricked him in doing all this." He shouted and Madhav started crying, he could not contain his tears no more. All this humiliation was just too much. Madhav wanted to run, run and never stop.

"Yes, cry you little girl, yes you are a girl which boy does all these things that you have done with my son." Said Prabh's father. Madhav was sobbing, he glanced at Prabh and he too was looking at him. Prabh's eyes were also wet, it was clear that he didn't want any of this to happen to Madhav. Prabh's father caught them looking at each other and became even more angrier. Prabh's father was now charging towards Madhav. He was going to slap him. Madhav braced himself for the impact and closed his eyes but nothing happened. Madhav slowly opened his eyes and saw that Prabh's father hand was stopped by his father.

Prabh's father was looking dumbfounded and he retreated his hands.

"You cannot raise your hand on my son." said Madhav's father with such ferocity that made Madhav lucky to have him as a father but he knew that his father was not happy with all this and him being gay but at least he was there to protect him. "My son did nothing to your son and it is clear in the video that your son made the first move." Continued Madhav's father and Prabh's father seemed embarrassed. He changed the topic.

"You are also dumb. How can you accept a son like him?" said Prabh's father. This was very serious allegation and Madhav literally felt like dying but what happened next truly shocked him.

"I am proud of my son, there is nothing wrong with him and we accept him the way he his." Said Madhav's father and he looked at him. He was proud of him and Madhav's felt like weights were picked up from his heart. He felt light and accepted. He looked at his mother and she was too smiling in agreement with father. Madhav was accepted and there was nothing wrong with him. That one line from his father changed everything, he was for the first time feeling proud of himself.

"You guys will have to stay away from my son." Said Prabh's father. Madhav forgot about him but now there was nothing to worry.

"We will go home tomorrow and please don't do anything stupid with your son." Said Madhav's father.

"You better not tell me how to deal with my son" replied Prabh's father and he grabbed Prabh's hand and stormed out the house. Prabh and Madhav glanced at each other for the last time. The love was still there burning as high as ever but they could not be together. Their eyes said love you and then Prabh was out of the room.

Madhav turned around and hugged his mother and father and they hugged him back with great force. Their warmth comforted Madhav and told him that everything will be alright from now on. Parth also came and hugged him. It was like a dream but the difference was that it was reality. Madhav was happy and they went to sleep

"I thought you guys will be mad at me?" said Madhav the next day in the car. They had already set off leaving the village behind.

"You silly, we knew from the start. Parents know everything about their child," said his mother proudly.

"We were just waiting for you to tell us yourself." Said his father. Madhav became shy and laughed.

As the scenery was transitioning from rural to urban area, Madhav looked out of the window and started reminiscing these last few days. His was life was changed drastically, from now on he can openly live and do what he likes. His parents accepted him and he had his first love. Prabh will always stay inside his heart. This separation has left a scar on Madhav's heart that will take time to heal but he is grateful for this experience; he just wants well being of Prabh. Knowing the fact that he will probably never meet Prabh is hurting but at the same time if it keeps Prabh safe is comforting. Madhav is just lucky to have such an amazing family and experience of Love at First Sight.

A/n: And with this Love at First Time is finished. I had lot of fun writing this series and hope that you guys also enjoyed reading this. I was inspired to write this type of story after reading the 'Call Me By Your Name' by André Aciman and I am happy that I wrote it. Mixing reality and fiction was a great experience and I can't wait to write more and more.

Stay Safe.
