Whew, this chapter took a while for me to finish... but it's here!
Enjoy! ;)
Chapter 13: Red-Hot Volcano
[BGM: Dangerous Dinner – Kirby's Return to Dream Land]
Dangerous Dinner is a volcanic, lava-dominated land with an active volcano at the peak. As the name of the place suggests, many Halcandrans tend to avoid it altogether due to its dangerous state, and instead sticking around Egg Engines only.
"Boy, it is piping hot in here!" Dedede exclaimed once the group arrived in this place, wiping some sweat off his forehead.
"Yep…" Bandana Waddle Dee groaned. "I'm sweating like crazy here!"
"While this place is very hot… I think the Phoenix Mountain was way hotter that this." Arusu said.
"I agree." Solo nodded. "Though the only reason we survived there was due to Palutena's power of cooling. She did say that we would've burnt to a crisp had she not done that."
"Just goes to show how incredibly hot that place actually is…" Eight grimaced.
"Wow, sounds like you guys have been through a lot back in Pit's world." Meta Knight remarked.
"As if we already haven't been through a lot back in our respective quests…" Eleven sighed, with his comrades nodding.
"Well, anyways…" Kirby interjected. "We better get a move on. We have a dragon to slay, after all!"
"Oh, right!" Eleven nodded, and then everyone took off to the road leading to the massive volcano at the distance, where Landia was currently resting.

Stage 7-1: Hot Hot Hot!
[BGM: Haldera Volcano – Kirby's Return to Dream Land]
The group began this trek over a volcanic plain, surrounded by a gigantic pool of lava. "Goodness, there's lava everywhere in here!" Eight exclaimed.
"And these pools are gushing out lava pillars." Solo added, directing to said pools of gushing lava up ahead.
"We must be careful with crossing these pools." Meta Knight warned as they walked ahead, carefully minding the gushing lava pools while clearing out some enemies and Star Blocks along the way until they got to the end, going through a door. From there, the group found themselves in a tunnel leading diagonally downward… while magmatic boulders were chasing them down. At one point, they found a Key and quickly took it as they ran past the boulders that were dropping from the ceiling, and got to the Key Gate where they unlocked it and get an Energy Sphere.
"Huh, it seems like Magolor dropped Energy Spheres here too." Eleven stated as they walked into the next portion of the tunnel, where a great many Flamers appear to greet the group… before they would immediately get sucked into Kirby's mouth and grant him the Fire Ability.
The Loyal Bodyguards sweatdropped with deadpan expressions. "You do know that you could've left some for us too, Kirby…" Arusu sassed.
"…Oh." Kirby blinked. "Erm… sorry about that…" he apologized sheepishly.
"Sheesh, tone down that gluttony of yours there, puffball…" Dedede scoffed as they walked ahead where they had to take another Key to a Key Gate and get the second Energy Sphere of this stage, then they continued on to a more open area, with a thin path leading above a bed of magma. There, they would meet a distant cousin of the dreaded Barbars: Iron Barbars that would come out of the lava from below and chomp on them.
"Eep!" Bandana Waddle Dee yelped as they barely stopped right in front of the first Iron Barbar.
"Are you kidding me?! Those Barbars have adapted to this environment too?!" Dedede questioned in exasperation.
"Well, that's quite the predicament…" Meta Knight blinked apprehensively.
"Yeah… And I'm pretty sure Solo would not want a repeat of last time…" Eight threw in.
"…Never again…" Solo shuddered as they carefully crossed over the lava bed while avoiding the Iron Barbars, and then they would take out a Twister on the way as it exploded into the Tornado crown, in which Eleven decided to pick it up and put it on. Then, they continued on and soon encountered a Key Dee carrying a Key as it immediately proceeded to flee from them.
"It's getting away!" Bandana Waddle Dee exclaimed.
"Don't worry, I got this!" Eleven said, getting in front while aiming his hands at the Key Dee. "May heaven's winds propel thee hence!" he shouted, as several tornadoes suddenly surrounded the Key Dee as it panicked, before getting blown away and dropping the Key.
"All right!" Bandana Waddle Dee cheered and rushed to pick up the Key. "That was astounding, Eleven!"
"You're welcome." Eleven chuckled, before thinking to himself, "…Hopefully Serena won't mind that I just stole her catchphrase for this."
At Erdrea…
"And so I told Holy Father that-… Oh dear… Hold up, Veronica…"
"What is it, Serena?"
"I don't know… but I have a gut feeling that the Luminary just stole my catchphrase without my consent…"
Back in Halcandra…
"I got the Spheres!" Bandana Waddle Dee said after having used the Key to unlock a Key Gate that held not one, but three Energy Spheres. "Let's keep going and get out of here as soon as possible!" he said as they all took off and came across a cave entrance with a sign that said 'Shortcut to Landia's Nest!', as they looked at each other with nods and ran in.
What they didn't know, however… is that this cave entrance would actually lead to inside of a volcano.
[BGM End]
Stage 7-2: In the Volcano!
[BGM: Haldera Volcano – Kirby Fighters 2]
"Wait, is this actually a cave or…?" Solo wondered as they were descending the volcanic tunnel via elevator.
"I think it is." Kirby replied.
"Um, are you sure about that?" Eleven asked. "Because there's lava above us." he directed up to the lava ceiling.
Then, it hit everyone. "Wait… don't tell me that we're inside a volcano!" Dedede exclaimed.
Meta Knight looked at the back wall, and could see a small part of the sky and landscape below it, complete with some lava rivers. "Yup, we're in a volcano."
"Oh, crap…" Bandana Waddle Dee paled up. "Please don't erupt on us, please don't erupt on us, please…!" he thought while sweating in panic, hoping that it wouldn't erupt and cook everyone alive.
As the elevator continued downwards, the group encountered several enemies on the way as they proceeded to take them all out, with Eight taking out a Snowl and taking the Ice crown it dropped. "Whew… I feel cooled down now." he said.
"Good for you…" Arusu muttered, wiping some sweat off his forehead as they continued to take out the enemies, grabbing an Energy Sphere behind some Degouts and also avoiding obstacles such as rotating fire bars and magma boulders. After that, the elevator finally reached the bottom, where a door awaited them.
Now they were in tight hallways with many moving blocks, some of them being covered in lava. Right at the beginning, there was a Moonja ready to attack them but Kirby rammed into it with Burn, then he sucked up the Ninja cowl to gain the Ninja Ability. The group then traversed down the hallways as Kirby at one point found a hidden passage that led to a Round-trip door, where he would get an Energy Sphere after solving a Ninja-based puzzle, and then after moving along carefully between a series of moving lava walls, the group got to the door.
It led them to a thin vertical shaft with a Starman wandering around, as Kirby figured he would need it and so discarded the Ninja Ability to get the Hi-Jump Ability, and he proceeded to take off up the shaft while the others used the ladders to follow him, carefully minding the walls closing in. One ladder led to a platform with a Hot Head as Arusu took it out, and then put on the Fire crown.
"Now we're talking!" he grinned as he and the others resumed following Kirby upwards until they got to a branching path, with Kirby taking the right one while the rest took the left one. The right path had several walls that closed on quickly, but thanks to the Hi-Jump Ability, Kirby was able to swiftly rocket past them to avoid being crushed, and getting another Energy Sphere for good measure. Then, after a short ride up via an Auto Cannon, the group went through another door.
[BGM: Eerie Area – Kirby's Return to Dream Land]
The next area was a dark cavern, but thankfully, Arusu was already providing light for them thanks to the Fire Ability. Despite this, after seeing two Elecs in front of them, Kirby decided to amp things up a bit and traded Hi-Jump for Spark by inhaling the Elecs.
"I'm switching up my Copy Abilities a lot in this place compared to the previous ones." Kirby chuckled as they walked along the cavern. "Not that it's the first time this happens, of course."
"Oh, yeah…" Bandana Waddle Dee realized. "The main reason you constantly switch up your Abilities is because you were alone in most of your adventures, right?"
"Yep."
"Just curious; why exactly do you switch your Copy Abilities all the time anyways, Kirby?" Eleven asked.
"Because switching up my Abilities is required for me to solve puzzles and get all sorts of collectibles that are important for my adventure, like the Energy Spheres we've been gathering." Kirby explained. "But since you guys can also use my Copy Abilities, then I don't have to do this very often!" he smiled.
"Glad we could help." Solo chuckled as they kept walking around the cavern, moving past several crushing ceilings and finding an Energy Sphere hidden somewhere in the dark before reaching the exit, in which Arusu had to melt down some Ice Blocks in order to reach it.
[Resume "Haldera Volcano" BGM]
Now finding themselves in another hallway, the group moved onwards while taking down some more enemies along the way, in addition to parts of the ceiling slowly coming down and so they rushed ahead, making good use of the Crackler item to blast their way through as they barely managed to get through the door just as the ceiling was coming close to crushing them.
[BGM End]
Everyone took a moment to breathe out a sigh of relief. "That was too close for comfort…" Dedede sighed. "This volcano sure wants us dead, doesn't it?"
"All that's left is for it to actually erupt… and that's what I've been fearing all this time…" Bandana Waddle Dee whimpered.
"No need to worry anymore." Meta Knight assured, before pointing over to the volcano's exit. "See? The exit is just up ahead."
"Really?! Oh, hallelujah!" Bandana Waddle Dee cheered as they all proceeded to head to the exit.
"Well that was a first, venturing inside of a volcano." Solo remarked.
"True." Eleven nodded. "We've already ventured around a volcanic wasteland, but never in a volcano."
"…" Arusu sighed sadly.
"What's wrong, Arusu?" Eight asked in concern as everyone stopped walking.
"Don't you guys remember? The moment I turned 16 back in my world, everyone in Aliahan believed that my father died by falling into a volcano."
His comrades' eyes widened in realization. "Oh… right." Eleven frowned, as did Solo and Eight. "And then everything went downhill for you afterwards…"
"What happened?" Kirby asked, and so the Loyal Bodyguards explained everything about Arusu's backstory. The Kirby cast was left in shock.
"O-Oh… oh goodness, that's…sad." Bandana Waddle Dee frowned.
"Poor Su-Su…" Kirby lamented.
"Wow, so that's how he got this aggressive personality?" Dedede asked. "I never imagined…"
"*sigh* I know exactly how it feels to lose someone who's very dear to you." Meta Knight sighed, patting Arusu's leg. "As a travelling warrior, I had loads of companions with me. We endured through many battles in Popstar…but obviously some of my companions weren't strong enough, and fell in different battles. One of them even was my closest friend. That loss hit me so hard… and that was the main reason why I decided to isolate myself from Popstar's earth and, together with my companions who survived, start patrolling the skies in the first place."
The Loyal Bodyguards' eyes widened in surprise by that, before frowning sadly. "Oh…" Arusu whispered. "I'm…really sorry to hear that."
"It's fine, you didn't know." Meta Knight replied, and then a smile formed underneath his mask. "But it was only temporary, since it was all thanks to Kirby that I was able to literally and figuratively come back down to earth." he said while directing to Kirby. "After the Halberd sunk into the ocean back when I tried to use it to, admittedly, take over Dream Land, a huge wave of depression hit me as my past came back to haunt me. That is, until Kirby came up to me, and after I told him about my past, he replied that I shouldn't let it haunt me, and that I must stop running away from my troubles just to ensure my companions' safety. His words touched me, and considering that at this point he had dueled against me twice and won both of them… I…was very grateful to him and immediately earned my respect. Now I wander around Popstar more often, since I know my friends are here with me." he then let out a chuckle. "I think it's safe to say that Kirby might be able to make friends with anybody."
Kirby chuckled back. "Maybe so. I know a lot of things about friendship!"
"Is that so? How come?" Eleven asked.
"Well, I don't quite remember… I had this knowledge since my birth."
"Who knows? Perhaps Kirby really is that special in Popstar." Bandana Waddle Dee stated.
"Considering how unique he looks compared to the rest of Popstar's denizens, that seems valid." Solo pointed out.
It was then that Dedede stepped in. "Alright, enough with the chit-chat. Let's make our way to Landia already!"
"Oh, right! At once!" Eight acknowledged, and they proceeded to get out of the volcano.
Stage 7-3: Dimensions Collide
[BGM: Limitless Power – Kirby's Return to Dream Land]
Immediately after leaving the volcano and back out in the exterior, the group was met with a jarring sight: the sky around them has become a nauseating blend of the fiery terrain seen thus far and elements from Another Dimension, and not to mention the several bizarre floating orbs of fire drifting across the terrain.
"Whoa…" Dedede whispered. "Now that's trippy…"
"Couldn't agree more, Great King…" Bandana Waddle Dee chimed in.
"There's elements from Another Dimension blending in with the sky, almost as if the two dimensions are merging with each other…" Eleven observed. "How is this possible?"
"Perhaps something or someone is behind this?" Solo guessed. "Obviously, I don't know what or who it is yet."
"But isn't it strange, though?" Eight spoke up. "That we haven't encountered any Another Dimension rifts thus far?"
"You're right…" Arusu chimed in. "And I'm with Solo; something or someone is doing this."
"Either way, it seems like the road to Landia is going to get rough from here on out." Meta Knight warned. "Let us proceed with caution."
Everyone else nodded and advanced, carefully moving past the fire orbs until they reached a bridge made entirely out of Cracked Blocks with a few enemies standing on it. Because of this, the group had to make sure to not be reckless in clearing their way through here, or they'll end up destroying the bridge. Thankfully, they made it past that section with no troubles and kept on going, now having to break their way through walls of Cracked Blocks before the fire orbs would get to them, and then they got to a door at the end.
In the next area, they had to traverse a thin bridge while avoiding more fire orbs that swayed back and forth as Meta Knight spotted an Energy Sphere under the bridge and flew down to get it, then they would next quickly run past tumbling pillars of boiling rock and even more swaying fire orbs to reach the exit beyond, taking them to the next area. In said area, the floor was continuously scrolling to the left and was interspersed with bottomless pits and inlets containing several enemies, but aside from these, the group got through this area easily.
They would find themselves back in the open again, having to avoid yet more fire orbs while taking out some Parasol Halcandle Dees, and up ahead was an Owgulf that was taken out by Solo before he put on the Wing headdress to gain the Wing Ability. The way ahead was more difficult for the Loyal Bodyguards sans Solo to traverse via platforms due to them being so sparse from each other, but by using the Tornado Ability, Eleven was able to create continuous gusts of wind below their feet to lift them up into the air and glide alongside the five fliers through the rest of the area, and also getting another Energy Sphere before getting to the door.
"You know, guys… After all the things I've seen in my world, the Mushroom World and Angel Land, I think this place might take the cake for being the most surreal thing I've ever experienced." Eight addressed his comrades as everyone took an elevator to go up a vertical shaft.
"I totally agree." Arusu threw in. "Just having two different dimensions starting to collide with each other is definitely something you don't see every day."
"Wait, did you just say that you experienced something surreal in your world too, Eighty?" Kirby asked. "What was it?"
"Put it simply, I had to venture into a world that parallels mine known as the World of Darkness." Eight explained. "It basically looks identical to my world, except that everything is in black and white. And I really mean everything; even its inhabitants are black and white too."
"Oh, wow…" Kirby awed. "An entire world with lack of colors? Sounds just like the Another Dimension bits we've been venturing into."
"Say…doesn't it also remind you of what happened to Popstar during the Rainbow Curse incident, Kirby?" Bandana Waddle Dee recalled.
Kirby's eyes perked up. "Oh, yeah! I was just about to say that!"
"Uh, what's this 'Rainbow Curse' incident that you're talking about?" Solo asked.
"It happened when the entirety of Popstar was suddenly drained out of its colors, leaving everything in it dull and frozen. And thus, it was up to me, Bandee and a magical paintbrush fairy named Elline to travel to the realm of Seventopia to return all of Popstar's stolen colors back."
"Huh, I see…"
"I guess it along with the Another Dimension rifts could be comparable to the World of Darkness somewhat, aside from the frozen and slowly erasing parts respectively." Eight stated.
"Just goes to show that anything can happen in this universe too." Eleven said. "I wonder what else might happen…"
"Hopefully it's not something that drastically changes Popstar again…" Dedede grumbled. "I just had enough with these changes, let alone Popstar having its colors stolen like Kirby said before and getting turned into a Picasso nightmare or into fabric! Next thing you tell me, Popstar is going to become mechanized!"
"…Again with the random stuff?" Meta Knight questioned while tilting his head.
"Eh, I have no idea why these keep popping up in my head anyways."
"Geez, if all of this had already happened in Popstar, I can't even imagine what could happen next…" Arusu sweatdropped as they eventually found a Key, in which they had to make a brutal climb to the top of another vertical shaft that was filled with gigantic fire orbs and Iron Barbars near the top. Thankfully, they managed to climb to the top safely and first used the Key to unlock a Key Gate to nab an Energy Sphere before heading out.
The following area was an elaborate tunnel that had lots and lots of Mid-Bosses in each section. Luckily though, as soon as the group climbed up the first ladder, a Super Blade Knight appeared.
"Oh, hello~!" Kirby gleamed, immediately discarding the Spark Ability and proceeded to suck up Super Blade Knight.
"Well that's great and all, but for what exactly are you going to use it this time?" Meta Knight questioned. "I don't see anything breakable here…"
Just then, they heard heavy footsteps as they turned to see two Gigant Edges charging at them, and so they got ready to fight them… until an Ultra Sword slash suddenly came in and cut down both Gigant Edges, instantly defeating them.
[BGM: Ultra Super Boss Battle – Kirby's Return to Dream Land]
"Just leave those bad guys to me!" Kirby smirked as he was in his Ultra Sword form.
"All right!" Bandana Waddle Dee beamed.
With that, everyone ventured through the tunnels as Kirby proceeded to one-shot every Mid-Boss they came across, with the order of encounter being Moundos, Kibble Blades, King Doos, Water Galboroses, Bonkers, and finally Dubiors. There were also some portions where Kirby had to break some columns, making the ceilings fall down and crush some poor Halcandle Dees underneath.
Once they all made it out, they would come across a mini-volcano at the top as the group watched Kirby walk over to it and preparing to unleash Ultra Sword at it.
"…Okay, I'm gonna lose my mind if Kirby actually manages to cut through THAT." Dedede said as Kirby pulled back his sword as it transformed… into a HUGE fish with stars printed on it and swung it down on the volcano. And sure enough, one giant tuna was effective in slicing said volcano open in half like knife through butter.
[BGM End]
The others' reaction to this glorious and bizarre moment? Shocked disbelief plus massive jaw drops to the floor (excluding Bandana Waddle Dee's case for the latter, of course). "Wh… Wh-wh… WHAAAAAAAAAT!?" Dedede yelled, his mind completely shattered.
"No… WAY!" Bandana Waddle Dee yelled shakily.
"…Did I…just see Kirby…cut a volcano in half… WITH A GIANT FISH?!" Arusu yelled.
"Yep!" Kirby replied, popping up the 'p'. "But this doesn't even compare to back when I once cracked Planet Popstar in half with a single punch!"
The Loyal Bodyguards jolted. "Wait, you did WHAT?!" Eight yelled.
"You cracked the whole planet in HALF?!" Solo asked. "And just with one punch?!"
"I did! Although it was merely an accident since it happened during a Megaton Punch Tournament…" Kirby said sheepishly.
"Okay we get that you did it on accident, but STILL!" Eleven exclaimed.
"Heh heh… Sometimes I just don't know my own strength…" Kirby chuckled sheepishly.
"You don't say…" Meta Knight sweatdropped.
Then, after Kirby waited until his friends snapped out of it (and by the time they did, Kirby's Ultra Sword Ability had vanished on him), everyone would walk up to the top of the volcano and look down into it to see that an Another Dimension rift has opened up. They then nodded to each other before falling down into the volcano, and into the rift.
[BGM: Another Dimension – Kirby's Return to Dream Land]
This final Another Dimension stretch was by far the longest one: instead of featuring just one area with the purple wall, it featured three of them. The first area featured a series of firing Shotzos and Gigatzos, and the gang had to dislodge many of those cannons to make progress while avoiding the others. The second area after that one was a vertical column that they had to descend as they ran past moving walls and platforms, and it featured some swimming sections as well. And the final area was the most straightforward one, where the group basically had to contend with practically everything they had faced in these stretches up to this point, all while avoiding yet more of those dangerous fire orbs.
By the time they finally made it to the safe area, the group was exhausted. Pretty justified, considering that they had to go through three different areas where the purple wall was present and endure through many tough obstacles at once. Luckily, they saw some Maxim Tomatoes waiting for them as they happily took them and ate them up, immediately restoring all of their lost stamina and feeling energized again.
"Thank Nova for these convenient Maxim Tomatoes!" Kirby chirped.
"Well, we are about to face a Sphere Doomer up ahead, so I guess this dimension was kind enough to provide us with these." Meta Knight speculated.
"After everything we had to go through in these different sections, I wonder what kind of Sphere Doomer we're going to encounter." Solo wondered.
"Only one way to find out." Eleven said as they walked off, with Kirby finding a Water Copy Essence on the way and taking it before arriving at the arena.
[BGM End]
"Alright, now where is it?" Arusu asked as he and the others braced themselves.
Fortunately, they didn't have to wait long as the Sphere Doomer eventually appeared before them… but this one was much more different than all the other Sphere Doomers they encountered: it was bigger, but not as big as Grand Doomer, was colored a deep purple, and has 7 tail feathers.
That… was the Greater Doomer.
"Whoa… that's a new one." Eight awed.
"It's much bigger too…" Bandana Waddle Dee threw in. "Could this one be related to the Grand Doomer?"
[BGM: Sphere Doomer (Team Kirby Clash Deluxe) – Super Kirby Clash]
Then, as if to bring the group back to their senses, Greater Doomer let out an evil cackle before swooping down on them. Thankfully, they dodged it just in time.
"Oi! Look lively, y'all!" Dedede exclaimed, readying his hammer. "Let's just take it out already!"
"Right!" Kirby nodded as the rest got ready as well.
Greater Doomer opened its mouth to spit purple orbs at them but the Loyal Bodyguards blocked them with their shields, as the beast then attempted to swoop low to ram into them, but they jumped away while Dedede would hit the remaining orbs back at Greater Doomer as Meta Knight slashed it a few times and then Eleven hit it with a Gale Slash.
Greater Doomer then proceeded to emit a dark aura around it before releasing it as a series of magical bursts that blew everyone away, but they quickly recovered as Solo proceeded to shoot Feather Guns at it along with Kirby and Eleven launching blobs of water and tornadoes respectively, then Eight bombarded it with icicles via a Kacrack spell.
Greater Doomer snapped out of it and growled before creating a ring of small orbs around itself, and proceeded to rapidly spin them around like a saw to try to hit the group as Kirby and Bandana Waddle Dee managed to attack it from above and below respectively that prompted it to just launch all of its orbs at once at everyone, but then Dedede hammered them all away as Greater Doomer next fire drilled Meta Knight and Eight away but they recovered, then Arusu Inferno Slashed it away.
Greater Doomer recovered and roared angrily before taking off to the background and launching a barrage of orbs at the group as they hit some of them, but then it would launch out a huge orb that hit them all.
"Alright… I've had enough!" Arusu growled and casted Hellfire to hit Greater Doomer with a huge fireball, as it responded by zooming back into the foreground while knocking Dedede and Kirby away, but Meta Knight and Solo hit it with a Shuttle Loop that forced it to the ground and then Bandana Waddle Dee skewered it with his spear. Greater Doomer cried in pain by that and tried to ram into them again, but they were ready for that this time and avoided it, then they proceeded to lay it out on it until finally… it was defeated.
[BGM: Silence of Another Sky – Kirby's Return to Dream Land]
After Greater Doomer exploded spectacularly and released the last two remaining Energy Spheres, the group took their time to catch their breaths from this tough battle.
"Not going to lie… that was definitely the most difficult fight we ever had with a Sphere Doomer…" Meta Knight panted.
"Tell us about it…" Dedede chimed in. "I would even question if that was really supposed to be an ordinary Sphere Doomer…"
"Could be a special kind, but who knows?" Kirby shrugged, and then a healing aura surrounded him and the others due to Eleven casting Omniheal on everyone.
"Well, what matters is that we succeeded in taking it down." he said and went to claim the Energy Spheres. "Time to head back."
Everyone else nodded and proceeded to the right, where the exit awaited them.
[BGM End]
As soon as they made it back, they would all look around them and notice something different. "Hey, look! The sky!" Bandana Waddle Dee exclaimed while pointing up to it as everyone followed; it was no longer showing the psychedelic blend of dimensions it had before, and now was back to its normal Dangerous Dinner sky. "It's back to normal!"
"It really is…" Eight breathed. "Maybe that Sphere Doomer is what caused that blend before?"
"Possibly." Solo nodded. "Perhaps it was its influence that caused the dimensions to collide, and it did prove itself to us that it's more powerful than the other Sphere Doomers."
"True that." Meta Knight chimed in. "This dimension sure is full of mysteries…"
Kirby then summoned a Warp Star. "Okay, since we're close enough to that massive volcano, I believe my Warp Star can take us there in a flash now!"
"And that location is where Landia is, correct?" Eleven asked.
"I just know it is! My instincts are never wrong!"
"Yeah, sometimes…" Dedede thought while internally rolling his eyes, knowing that sometimes Kirby could get a little impulsive with his instincts.
"All right, then! Let's finish this!" Arusu grinned, and so they all hopped on the Warp Star and took off to the volcano, ready to put an end to Landia's attack.
To be continued…
I seriously didn't feel like putting in the Another Dimension stretches from stages 1 and 2 since it would make this chapter too long, which is mainly the main reason why it took me so long to finish it. But in order to not left these stretches out, I decided to just mesh them together with the last Another Dimension stretch. And honestly, I felt that the battle against just two Sphere Doomers was a bit anti-climatic for a final Another Dimension stretch, so I thought about throwing in the Greater Doomer from Team Kirby Clash Deluxe instead!
And yes, you've seen this correctly. In my timeline, the events of Kirby and the Rainbow Curse had already happened despite that game coming out four years after Return to Dream Land (plus, back in Super Heroes 3D Land, one of the drawings Kirby did depicted Dark Crafter as among the threats he faced before). That's because as far as I'm concerned, none of the Kirby Spin-Off games (excluding the Kirby Clash games, even though they're technically not actually considered part of the main canon) interfere with the lore the main games hold, so I think it's safe to say that these Spin-Offs can occur at any point in the series.
Landia's battle comes up next... along with something else. Until next time!
