A week before the first task.
The hallways were empty-not a soul in sight, even Peeves the Poltergeist was nowhere to be found.
Everyone was inside of the Great Hall eating dinner alongside the rival schools.
Hermione has sent me a letter to wait outside in the hall in front of the abandoned girls bathroom on the first floor.
Of course I agreed, any time that I can have with her I'll take.
She walks hurriedly towards me with a smile on her face when she sees me.
That damn smile makes me melt now instead of annoying me.
It's kind of like medicine to me.
I could be having the worst day and when I see her smile...everything changes.
She grabs my hand pulling me into the broom closet beside the bathroom.
Immediately as soon as the door is closed and locked her lips are clashed against mine.
I kiss her just as passionately and with as much intensity as she was.
But suddenly she breaks away.
"I-I received a care package from my mother and father and they sent me a ton of food," she says.
"Do you want to meet me in the Astronomy tower tonight?" She asks me breathlessly, eyeing my lips anxiously.
I smile and nod.
"Of course...midnight?" I ask her.
"No- one a.m, I have Professor Sintera tonight," she says and I nod.
"I have that tomorrow," I say before leaning back to kiss her cherry flavored lips.
My vanilla flavored chapstick clashes wonderfully against the cherry of hers.
Each smile against my lips, each bite that softly stings my bottom lip draws me more and more into her.
Her hands were intertwined in my hair and mine were on her cheek and her lower back.
Luckily we were around the same height otherwise I wouldn't be able to kiss her the way that I want.
No matter what it was- I realized- I would do anything for this girl.
I'd even die for her.
And somehow I knew she'd do the same for me.
Suddenly she stops her lips lingering on mine.
"We should probably get to dinner..." she sighs before untangling her fingers from my hair, she carefully brushes it through with her fingers.
She instinctively straightens me out.
"I ur...love you," she says nervously; her cheeks flushing a vivid red.
"I love you too 'Mione," I smile at her, kissing her once again.
I grab my things peering out of the closet to make sure that Filch or anyone was coming down the hall.
The coast was clear and we parted ways.
She heads in the direction of the Great Hall whereas I-I head off towards my dorm.
I wasn't hungry for food-no I wasn't, instead I was feeling greedy-greedy for Hermione, as if I could never have enough of her to satisfy me.
Midnight
I walk quickly and quietly to the Astronomy tower where Hermione told me to meet her.
Sure enough she was there.
She was waiting for me in the middle of the room, lights were hanging in the air casting a soft golden light over a picnic laid out on the floor.
A basket was opened with a beautiful meal laid out on the checkered blanket.
I smile at her.
She's wearing a beautiful yellow dress that fits her perfectly. The only loose spot is at the tips of the dress, meaning her hands and thighs.
I glance down at myself.
I chose to wear a white lace nightgown with my hair braided simply, nothing like the gorgeous girl that stood before me.
"I noticed you didn't come to the feast, so I asked the house elves to prepare some food, the care package didn't have anything that I thought would be good enough-," I cut her off.
"Hermione...this is perfect...you are perfect," I say.
I hold out my hand to her, she guides me to an empty spot on top of the blanket in between the food and drinks.
She hands me a bottled butterbeer.
"I thought you were against the elves serving you," I point out as I pop off the lid of the butterbeer.
"I am, but they were so happy when I went down to the kitchens to ask so I thought- maybe just this once," she says blushing.
"Oh well either way this is perfect...thank you 'Mione," I pause. "I really don't deserve you."
She smiles and pulls out a covered plate, a dozen tea sandwiches sit on it- cucumber, turkey, cream cheese sandwiches with the crust cut off.
As well as strawberries covered in chocolate and grapes with a variety of cheeses.
"I've never tried these cheeses before...so I thought we could try them together," she says observing the unique cheeses while I had a mouth filled with food.
I nodded, swallowing my food.
While we ate we talked about the stars and the different classes we had that we didn't have together.
"So...Harry knows what the first task is," Hermione says out of nowhere.
I raise an eyebrow, the champions weren't supposed to know.
"You don't know what it is do you?" She asks me, sounding surprised.
I shake my head.
"Well...it's dragons," she mumbles so quietly that I have to lean in to hear what she said.
"Dragons!" I exclaim.
She nods.
Hermione turns away from me and grabs from the picnic basket a large stack of parchment.
"I did all of the research for you-I already researched it with Harry so I copied the notes onto more parchment and saved it for you-he gold Cedric but I knew he didn't or at least wouldn't tell you," she stammered handing me the paper.
I take the paper flipping through the well written notes and research.
"I love you, you know that?" I say laughing.
She blushes and smiles at me.
I move aside the food and lean over to kiss her.
She leans in and pulls me closer to her without a word so that our bodies touch.
Our mouths clashed furiously together, she pushed me onto the blanket and climbed on top of me kissing me faster than I thought possible.
My hands were on her waist while hers roamed carefully around my body.
I realized what she wanted.
"Hermione," I murmured as her mouth dipped down to my neck.
"'Mione," I say again.
She glances up from my neck.
"We need to stop..." I say.
"Why? You don't want to?" She asks me a hurt tone to her voice.
"No-No it's not that, I just want to break up with Draco first before we go any further," I say.
She sits up hastily climbing off of me.
"Well why haven't you yet?"
"Because...he's in contact with my father and my father wants me to keep dating him," I say, sighing.
She lays on her side gazing at me.
"What if...what if we do something that makes him want to break up with you?" She suggests thinking aloud.
I raise an eyebrow looking at my beautiful girlfriend.
"I dunno, I'll have to think about it, but while I do that you focus on your first task," she smiles.
I grin at her and kiss her again.
"Okay I will..." I say acknowledging her.
We lay in that room until the first sign of light breaking out over the hill, a thin line of pink highlighting the horizon.
