The entire arena has had its fair share of good matches. Firstly, Digger Yamamoto got a win over Kurea Komiyama. Sakura used her special on Hikari before pinning her. Rio almost knocked Misaki out with the sleeper hold, but the ace of Berserk managed to slip out and finish with her Misaki Special. The next match between Queen Bee and Chocho was about to begin.
Queen Bee had been training all week for this night. She knew it was going to be easy, but she had every confidence she can pull it off. So she walked up to the stage and posed for the crowd. Queen Bee made her way to the ring and waited. Chocho arrived in her usual attire along with a black jacket with red outlines. She marched down the ramp and into the ring. The removed her jacket and tossed it out of the ring before flexing both her arms while smiling at her opponent.
"This is going to be a hell of a match, folks!" the announcer declared. "Queen Bee, the professional wrestler from America who won her debut match, is going against Chocho, one of the strongest women in Berserk! With her impressive record of 24-5, Chocho has every reason to be confident in this match! But for all we know, Queen Bee could pull off a sweet victory!"
DING-DING!
Queen Bee and Chocho met up in the center of the ring, The newcomer made the first move with a shoulder tackle to her opponent's stomach. Though Chocho was moved by a few inches, she kept her ground much to Queen Bee's surprise. She then grabbed her head in a guillotine headlock. Queen Bee tried to escape, but Chocho tightened the hold cutting off her air. In a minute, Bee was brought to her knees before laying facedown on the ground. Chocho released the hold and rolled up Bee for the pin.
1… 2…
Queen Bee kicked out. She took a deep breath trying to get back up, but Chocho helped her up by grabbing her head and lifting her to her feet.
"Thank goodness you kicked out." Chocho said. "I was worried I was going to end this way too soon."
"Don't mock me." Bee growled swatting Chocho's hands away. She then kicked her to the ropes before landing a belly-to-belly suplex as she bounced back.
Queen Bee picked Chocho up on her knees and held her in a headlock locking her elbow bent under her head. Chocho struggled which made Queen Bee actually proud. But after a long minute, Chocho wrapped her arm around Queen Bee's head and lifted her up in a fireman's carry. She turned in a airplane spin before dropping her onto the mat.
Backstage, Sakura winced at the sight of it. "Wow. Dawn's kinda havin a hard time out there."
"Not surprising considering who her opponent is." Rio said. "I've faced Chocho twice, and I couldn't hold a candle to her."
"She's that tough?" Sakura asked.
"She earned a title match against Misaki three times. You tell me. Other than her, Chocho lost to Juri Sanada, who is the only person to make her tap out, and Digger Yamamoto, though she only lost through the League of Evil's usual cheating methods. Truthfully, even though Queen Bee is already a pro, the odds are kinda against her."
Back in the ring, Chocho had Queen Bee trapped in a Boston crab. She pulled so hard, the American let out a scream.
"Queen Bee, do you give up?" the referee asked.
"NO!" Queen Bee screamed.
Chocho released one leg to add more pressure to the other. That gave Queen Bee the chance she needed. She used her free leg to help her crawl to the ropes. She was about to grab it, but Chocho planted one of her feet in front of her transitioning into a stretch muffler. She pulled the leg harder making Queen Bee scream even more, but the American wouldn't back down. Slowly, centimeter by centimeter, she shifted her body forward even with Chocho's muscle weight on top of her. Queen Bee kept going until her head made it to the ropes. The referee forced Chocho to let go.
Backstage, Sakura got flashbacks of a similar situation she had when she faced Rio for the second time. She smiled and watched the match progress with pride.
Back in the ring, Queen Bee went to the corner and used the ropes to help herself back up to her feet. She rested at the corner, but Chocho wasn't planning on letting her rest. She immediately ran forward for a shoulder tackle, but Queen Be smirked before sidestepping at the last second, letting Chocho ram her shoulder to the corner. Chocho grunted upon impact until Queen Bee rolled her up in la magistral pin.
1…
Chocho kicked out. Queen Bee wasted no time in dropkicking her back down before hitting her with an elbow slam. Queen Bee was working fast on her opponent.
"I can't hesitate." She thought to herself. "She's clearly tougher than I thought. If she gets another chance, I don't know if I'll make it."
Queen Bee went on top of Chocho and locked her in a sleeper hold. She gripped tightly on Chocho's neck. Chocho tried reaching for the rope, but Queen Bee rolled the both of them to the center of the ring without letting go. She still had her opponent in her grasp.
Just then, Chocho planted her hands onto the mat and slowly picked herself up with Queen Bee still trying to choke her out. Chocho took a step backwards after another building up speed until she slammed backwards crashing Queen Bee to the corner turnbuckles. Queen Bee gasped at impact as she let go.
Chocho shot her elbow back right toward Queen Bee's head, but the American narrowly ducked and pushed her away. Queen Bee ran toward Chocho and gripped her waist before throwing her in a German suplex. The impact shook the ring as Queen Bee held Chocho there.
1… 2…
Chocho shifted her body out of the pinning predicament. Queen Bee turned to face her opponent without hesitating, but Chocho struck her with a sudden punch to her stomach. Queen Bee coughed in response to it bending down. Chocho then gripped both of her hands above Queen Bee and slammed them right at her back hitting like a sledgehammer.
"Someone needs some TLC." Chocho taunted as she picked Queen Bee up. She raised her above the ground and wrapped her arms around her body squeezing roughly. "How about a nice hug?"
Queen Bee felt complete pain in the bearhug. Each moment was another breath lost from her mouth. Thankfully, she knew what to do. She raised both her arms and swung them at different sides of Chocho's head. The muscle woman let go upon impact and Queen Bee fell to her knees recovering from the hold and taking very deep breaths. When she did, she went to capitalize on the opportunity by swinging her own punch to Chocho's toned stomach… but it failed. Queen Bee was surprised to see that her punch wasn't as fast or strong as usual. All her relentless attacks without hesitation combined with Chocho's powerful moves have nearly exhausted her.
Chocho grinned down at Bee after her pain was gone. She lifted her by her arm that hit her and applied another bearhug, this time, with her arms trapped too. Queen Bee was being crushed again, but this time, she was also worried as she couldn't move her arms away.
"Queen Bee, do you give up?" the referee asked.
"N-N-No." Queen Bee struggled to say.
Chocho kept grinning in confidence. She released Queen Bee only to drop her hard on her back. She then picked her up on her feet, placed her head between her legs, grabbed her waist, and raised her up sitting on her shoulders. Queen Bee was to exhausted to escape Chocho's finishing move. Her opponent ran forward a couple of steps before slamming Queen Bee's back right onto the mat. It was Chocho's finishing move, the Chocho Special.
As Queen Bee began to feel dullness through her body, she figured she had lost. She was still conscious, but she still couldn't raise any part of her body, both because of the exhaustion and the numbness. In any other circumstance, Chocho would take the pinfall and win the match. Unfortunately, this match didn't end the way either wrestler wanted.
Chocho decided flexed both her arms one more time before pinning Queen Bee. But while she did that, Queen Bee felt hands grabbing her wrist. She was roughly pulled through the ropes and out of the ring. After she slipped out, she fell onto the floor beginning to feel a sting again. She gritted her teeth as her eyes gazed upon who pulled her out, the three girls in the League of Evil. And next to them was one of their leaders, Digger Yamamoto.
"Pick her up." She commanded. The girls grabbed Queen Bee's arms and held her up. One of them went behind her and locked her in a full nelson to keep her from falling.
Chocho finally noticed the interference along with the referee, who called for the bell.
DING-DING!
Chocho ran out of the ring and confronted Digger. "What do you think you're doing, fatass? This is my match against her!"
"Shove off!" Digger yelled. Before Chocho could respond, the obese woman gripped her hair and tossed her to the ringpost.
Queen Bee finally recovered enough to move her limbs again. She kicked both of the other LoE members at once before attempting to struggle out of the nelson. Unfortunately, Digger stopped her with a kick to her stomach.
"Don't move, bumblebee." Digger said. "I got a message from Hornet."
"What, is Beatrice not woman enough to tell me herself?" Queen Bee asked.
"Well, unlike you, she has a life." Digger taunted. She gripped Bee's face with one hand and squeezed her cheeks together. "Listen up. We've talked it over, and Hornet decided to have a match with you. You know, to relive the old days of her beating you. But first, you and I are going to have a match. If by some miracle that you win, you get to decide your match with Hornet. When I win, she decides."
"Fine." Queen Bee growled. "Tell Beatrice she's in for a world of hurt after I'm through with you."
"I'll be sure to tell her you accepted. But first, you're going to ned a reminder about how vicious we are. Mikoto, keep her there. Dana, Kana, you know what to do."
The two girls who Queen Bee kicked before stood up and approached her. They then took turns punching her in the face while the girl holding her laughed.
Digger Yamamoto left through the ramp, and she passed by a couple of the other Berserk girls who ran out from backstage to help Bee. Ringside, Kanae and Natsuki stared in shock and amazement.
"Wow, that's brutal." Natsuki said.
"No kidding." Kanae agreed.
"OW!" Queen Bee shouted getting rubbed on her face by the fuzz with alcohol. Misaki applied it after she, Sakura, Rio, Kurea, and Chocho carried her to the locker room.
"Stand still." Misaki said. "It'll hurt less if you don't move."
"Noted." Queen Bee said.
"I still can't you accepted a match that Digger challenged you to." Rio said. "That's pretty gutsy."
"She assaulted me and gave me a chance to face Beatrice." Queen Bee said. "How could I refuse?"
"I understand," Misaki said, "But you need to learn to be more careful in the future. Digger used to be a tag team champion along with Hornet. You shouldn't take either of them likely."
"Take it from someone who lost to Yamamoto earlier." Kurea said. "She does not go down easy."
"I get it." Queen Bee said. "Actually, I feel a lot better."
"In that case," Chocho said, "Could the rest of you give us the room?"
"All right." Sakura said. "See you later, Dawn." She and most of the others left the locker room. Queen Bee and Chocho were alone there.
"So… that happened." Dawn said.
"Yeah. That match didn't go the way either of us wanted." Chocho said.
Dawn sighed. She wanted to confess that if the League of Evil hadn't interfered, Chocho would've won the match, but she was too proud of herself to. So instead, she said, "Well, who knows how it would've gone?"
Chocho chuckled knowing that Dawn was too proud to admit defeat, which was something she could relate to. "I admit, this match was very fun."
"Really?" Dawn asked. "You basically outmuscled me on several occasions."
"Yeah, but it was still very interesting to fight you." Chocho said. "How's about for now, we call it a tie until we can settle this later, after you feud with the League of Evil is over of course."
"Really?"
"If there's anything I hate more than lousy competition, it's people who stoop as low as they did just to prove a point. I'm certain that they wouldn't let you enjoy any match, so you're going to have to beat them soon. So you beat Yamamoto and Hornet, and after that, I can kick your ass in a proper match."
"Not if I kick yours first." Dawn smiled.
"We'll see." Chocho smiled back. The two of them fist-bumped each other to commemorate this challenge.
Author's Note: Okay, I know that this match didn't end right for either girl, but I feel it's right for the plot. Now, Queen Bee will have to face the League of Evil's top two members. I know it was fast for me to get this done, but I kinda got in the zone and I didn't want to stop.
I know you people predicted that Queen Bee would win, but you gotta remember that even though they're the same character, this Queen Bee isn't as strong as the one in Xtrema. And even though she has plenty of wrestling experience in America, you gotta expect her to lose at least a few of the matches in this story.
But before we move onto the plot, I've got something to do. Next chapter will be a headcannon chapter featuring profiles for every unnamed background wrestler in Berserk. As previously stated, these women were colorful to be wasted. All they ever did was make Sakura look bad. So I'll be providing them with their wrestling styles, personalities, backgrounds, finishing moves, and more.
So far, I'll be working on profiles for some of the ten girls in Sakura's 100 Throws (except for Rio, Chinatsu, and Kurea) and the girls who gave Sakura Boston crab losses in episode 3 (the tall one with pink hair and the one with the orange leotard). I'll also be working on a profile for Excavator Sakuya, the girl who Misaki wrestled in episode 7. I don't know if I should make profiles for Subaru Fujino (who Sakura faced in episode 7) or Yoshiko (who defeated Kurea in the same episode) because I'm not sure if they should be counted as Berserk wrestlers or not. What do you think?
Interesting fact: Yoshiko is based on a real-life wrestler named Yoshiko who works at Stardom. The design and fighting style is basically the same. Even the Japanese dub has the real Yoshiko voicing her. Just wanted to point that out.
Next chapter, I'll give out the profiles. The chapter after that, I'll get back to the plot. Any and all comments are welcome.
