Chapter 2: Creed Meets Camp Half-Blood
A/N: I would just like to thank those who read my story as this is the first one I am doing. I am quite nervous as writing is more of something I do to pass the time, so I am not the best. I try my best with grammar and spelling, so before I post a chapter, I put it through Grammarly, but even that is not perfect. A thing that I will say is that every chapter won't be the same length. The chapters will range from 3,000 words to possibly 6,000 words, but I will try to stay consistent with the lengths. I will state this in every chapter, but I am going to use information from every current Assassin's Creed game there is. I have never played Assassin's Creed personally, but I have watched others play the game on Youtube, so my information will most likely come from the Assassin's Creed Fandom Wiki.
I would like to thank those who reviewed the first chapter of my story and liked it. I hope to have a chapter out every week, and if my schedule allows it, possibly even two as I write around my school schedule. And to answer the question of if Percy has more wives than Artemis and Reyna, he has one more, possibly two if I feel like it or if I can work it into the story. If you want to know who it is, you will either have to guess who it is yourself or wait till further in the story. I will give you a hint, it's probably a big hint, but the other wife is not from the PJO series.
I do have one question for the people reading this though. Is there anything you would like to see in the story? Such as a part with certain Assassin's Creed characters or more personal ones like Percy raising his daughters.
Disclaimer: I don't own anything in this story relating to Percy Jackson & the Olympians or the Assassin's Creed saga. If there is any talk in a different language as Assassin's Creed covers the entire world and Percy Jackson & the Olympians sometimes speak in Greek and Latin, it will be in bold and italics.
"We must never give up the fight. The minute we do, we have lost."

- Long Island - Camp Half-Blood -
It was just like any other summer day at Camp Half-Blood, except today, there was a feeling of foreboding felt by the elder campers. There wasn't a feeling like this since Percy Jackson's days, and he hasn't been seen in over thirty years. The campers who knew Percy Jackson personally and were still at camp wished that this feeling meant that he was coming back; they wanted to see their friend again.
Some of the older campers are still at Camp Half-Blood, and some even at Camp Jupiter because, after the Second Giant War, the Gods thought it would be best if the older generation were there to guide them. As a result of this, most of the seven from the Prophecy of Seven, camp counselors, and older campers were given the same kind of immortality that the Hunters of Artemis have. This was a surprise to everyone but one, as he always expected this and knew his answer. Percy Jackson was not surprised at all for most of it, but when his girlfriend at the time chose immortality over the promise they made to each other, he knew what needed to be done. A few months after that, Percy and his girlfriend Annabeth Chase broke up, with him disappearing shortly afterward.
It was just a few days ago when Lord Poseidon said that he would be visiting camp soon, which only raised the campers' hopes. This especially raised the hopes of the camp activities director Chiron. He had seen Percy as his own son, and others knew the feeling was reciprocated from the interactions between the two when they were still trainer and student.
While usually, the campers would be in training led by their counselors right now, everyone was relaxing as all of the immortal campers were in the Big House having a meeting as the foreboding feeling was at the strongest it has even been in the past week. The meeting was interrupted when they all heard a loud hunting horn pierce through the air that everyone knew was associated with the Hunters of Artemis. With that, everyone got up to go greet the hunters as was tradition for them to do.
On the hill leading into Camp Half-Blood stood a group of what appeared to be teenagers and a centaur. They were waiting for their visitors that would be arriving soon.
"Chiron, do you think that Lord Poseidon or Lady Artemis know what this strange feeling is?" asked a blonde-haired girl. The girl was about 5'8'' tall with tanned skin, long honey blonde hair, and an athletic body (A/N: I know that the fandom wiki has Annabeth at 5'11,'' but this is my story, and in my opinion, she stopped growing after she was turned immortal. So some height might differ from what is in the wiki). She looked like your average California girl except for her stormy-grey eyes.
"I don't know Annabeth, but we can certainly ask and hope that they have answers." answered the centaur. He looked like a middle-aged man from the waist up, with thinning brown hair, bushy eyebrows, a scruffy beard, and intense brown eyes that have the appearance of seeing many things in his very long life. His lower half was that of a white stallion.
The girl-Annabeth-seemed to want to ask more, but one look from Chiron had her holding her words. It was a few moments later that they saw a group of silver-clad girls lead by an auburn-haired woman around the age of 20. She always used to be in the form of a 12-year-old, but she has taken this form in the past two decades, and no one knew why. The woman was clad in a silver tunic and black leggings. Her auburn hair was gathered into a ponytail, showing her beautiful face and striking/intimidating silver eyes. All of the campers bowed when she stood in front of them.
Chiron was the first to speak. "Lady Artemis, it is an honor to see you again and at camp. How long do you expect to be here this time?" He was the one to talk as he knew that none of the demigods with him dared to speak to the Goddess out of fear.
"Yes, well, I thought that my hunters could use a short... vacation of sorts. And we might be here for a week, possibly even a few weeks. And before you ask the reason for the rather lengthy time, well, I know that you have felt it too." Artemis answered him with him nodding at her words. She then turned around to address her hunters, "Thalia, take the rest of the hunters to our cabin, and then I want you to come to the Big House. I want a meeting of the counselors to discuss something.
With that said, the groups dispersed. The hunters went to their cabin and the goddess, centaur, and counselors headed to the Big House. There was some information that needed to be discussed, and it couldn't wait.
Now Artemis didn't expect much when she got to the cliche named 'Big House' of Camp Half-Blood. She definitely didn't expect to see her uncle/father-in-law Poseidon sitting at the table. If she were any lesser of a goddess, she wouldn't have been able to hide her surprise; the demigods and, to a lesser degree, Chiron were not able to as they hastily bowed to the King of the Seas.
"Well, Uncle, I didn't expect to see you here at camp. To my knowledge, you haven't been here since young Perseus's disappearance." She said, knowing the kind of teasing she would get later from both her uncle and husband-as he would no doubt be told-as she decided that it was time that she visited him again after so long. She was proved right when Poseidon's smile grew to where some would think that his face would split in half.
"So just because I haven't visited in a while means that me being here is not allowed," the Sea God said innocently. She wasn't buying it and just narrowed her eyes at him. Any lesser god or man would have died on the spot if looks could kill, as proven when the demigods not even in her view started squirming. "Fine, just ruin my fun," Poseidon stated with a playful frown. "I'm just here for the surprise that will be arriving within the next two hours." Now, this confused everyone except her as she knew what this... surprise... was.
Finally, Thalia walked in, and all of the counselors sat down, including Chiron-who used magic to hide his lower half as he sat in a wheelchair-and they began talking. Some of the counselors noticed the staredown that the two Olympians were having that seemed to include a silent argument. Based on his snickers and Artemis' reddening face, Poseidon was winning. Artemis was about to speak up before she was interrupted by Chiron, who wanted to defuse the situation before it could break out into an actual verbal/physical argument.
Chiron spoke up. "My Lord, my Lady, could we please get on track and get to the discussion that Lady Artemis wanted to have." That seemed to get everyone's attention, and she was glad for it. Gathering her thoughts, Artemis was thinking about where to start as they were in a delicate situation.
"Well, if you don't know yet, but monsters are once again gathering in large groups. This has also been witnessed before the last two wars." She knew that she could have worded it more delicately, but these demigods needed to know. Her message proved results if the stiffening of the immortal campers was anything to go by. Most of these immortal campers fought and survived in both the Second Titan War and Second Giant War, but they couldn't have done it without one person, and very few knew where he was. "Now, I know that this worries you, but know this, in a few days, the demigods from Camp Jupiter will be coming here. All will be explained by us Gods when they arrive. There will be an Olympian Council meeting tonight as my uncles Poseidon, Hades, and I believe that if this does turn into something like war, then we will need outside help." Once again, confused faces appeared, and that didn't surprise her or her uncle.
"If you don't mind me asking Lady Artemis, but who is this outside help that you just mentioned? It sounds as if you know them well. But if so, then why don't we know them, or why don't the hunters know of them." A confused Thalia asked her mistress.
Artemis knew that Thalia was probably hurt on the inside as she and Artemis always confided in each other, but Artemis knew the value of the secrets she held, and she would only tell them when needed. Her uncle thankfully saved her.
"Thalia, this outside help is not very well known in the world, mythological or not. Just know that they are critical to the survival of the human race as a whole." Poseidon's tone was so serious that it almost surprised her. "This outside help is the reason why the human race is what it is today. They have been fighting a secret war for millennia for the freedom of the human race. This, I guess you could call them a secret society. Their ideology started before even us Gods existed." That startled everyone. If they could be traced back to before the Gods, then how old were they.
Artemis knew that this conversation needed to end before they got too far into it, and things were said too soon. "Ok, we can talk about this more when Camp Jupiter gets here and after the council meeting. Now, is there anything-" she suddenly stopped confusing some of the people in the room except for a few as only a few could have heard what she did, the distinct cry of an eagle. Those few being Thalia and Chiron, were confused as eagles were a rare sight, and the only birds that should be in the camp are the hunters' hawks. Artemis kept a straight face, but if you truly knew her, then you could see the slight quirk of her lips. Poseidon was an entirely different story though, his smile threatened to split his face, thus scaring the campers in the room.
"Well, I think we should go greet the guests," Poseidon said jovially. Confusing everyone in the room but her. Poseidon then got up and walked out, so she decided to follow. This then caused the others to follow after them to Half-Blood Hill. They weren't the only ones that were intrigued as her huntresses were also going to the sight of the sound.
When everyone got to the top of the hill, they were surprised. They saw two Golden eagles perched on the lowest branch of Thalia's Pine Tree, surveying the area. It appeared as if they were scouting the area, for what only the two gods knew, but the others thought they were just looking for prey.
"Ok, am I the only one confused here? Why are there two random eagles in the tree?" asked Thalia. This brought upon some murmurs of agreement from the others.
Poseidon turned and answered her questions as he knew that Artemis wouldn't. "Well, Thalia, those are two Golden eagles. I know a little about them as I am pretty close to those who have raised and own them. The eagles' names are Altaïr and Ezio." This brought some questioning looks from the campers and a cough from a certain moon goddess that somehow sounded like 'smartass,' but she just looked away innocently. Poseidon ignored her and continued, "And there they are now, and with Reyna, I believe."
Everyone looked down the hill and saw three figures walking up the hill. One of them was Reyna, who looked to be around 24 years old, which should be impossible as she turned down immortality when offered it by the Gods after the war. She stood at about 5'9''-5'10'' tall and wore some casual jeans, a flannel shirt, and some hiking boots. She had the same piercing black eyes and glossy black hair worn in a braid while still having a regal and beautiful face that showed her Hispanic heritage. Behind her were two other females. They couldn't guess their ages as their jackets' hoods covered their faces, but they would assume them to be in their late teens. Both girls were rather tall, standing around 5'11'' in height. They both wore grey hoodies with red accents with an eagle emblem along with black pants with the same red accents while wearing grey and red shoes that you would see on someone who did parkour. Their jackets' hoods were shaped to cast a shadow over their faces so that only their mouths could be seen (A/N: Galina Voroina from Assassin's Creed Syndicate outfit). Around each of their necks was a silver necklace in the shape of a bow with a knocked arrow. From just looking at their dress, you could tell that the two girls were athletes and gorgeous, gorgeous enough to make the girls there, bar Reyna, Artemis, and her hunters, feel self-conscious about their looks. This was only further proven when the girls pulled down their hoods. They both had long, braided, midnight black hair with sea-green eyes with silver flecks-if you could see them-in them. The girls had a tan to them that made them seem as if they were at the beach all day. Their looks surprised many of them as they looked so reminiscent of their old friend Percy Jackson. They were basically female twins of him.
Seeing everyone was stunned, Poseidon decided to take charge of the situation. "I hope the trip was pleasant for you two. I wouldn't want to have to talk to your father about you two messing something up and him having to punish you two." The twins smiled warmly at first, but then the smile turned nervous. When they were ever in any kind of trouble with their parents, they were then trained until they had to be carried to their rooms.
"Yes, the trip with Reyna was pleasant for us, Grandfather." the girl on the right said.
"As always, there were no complications, even though we could have probably handled any that happened." the girl on the left then seemed to finish the reply of her twin.
What was just said startled everyone. The two female versions of Percy just called Poseidon grandfather. People were starting to connect the dots, and a certain daughter of Athena was not liking where they were leading. Since no one wanted to talk, Chiron took it upon himself as the camp activities director to welcome the two girls.
"Well, girls. My name is Chiron, Trainer of Heroes, and the activities director of Camp Half-Blood." the centaur said with a calm and welcoming smile. The girls smiled back, which surprised their grandfather as he knew that they were very closed-off individuals, but he just put it up to the stories their father told of Chiron during his time in camp.
The girls shared a look with each other until the one on the left spoke. "Hello, Chiron. My name is Andromeda Jackson, and this is my twin sister Zoë Jackson. You know our father, Percy Jackson." And with that said, a few of the campers fainted. Poseidon let out a hearty laugh while leading his granddaughters to the Big House while Chiron ordered the campers, who were still standing, to take the others to the infirmary. Chiron and Artemis then followed after she ordered her hunters to go and train while anyone who wasn't busy just followed to the Big House.
Currently sat inside the Big House were Poseidon, Andromeda and Zoë Jackson, Thalia, Artemis, Chiron, and a few others. There were a few boys and girls who didn't faint. A daughter of Ares, two daughters of Demeter, a daughter of Hecate, a son of Hephaestus, and two sons of Hermes.
The daughter of Ares was Clarisse La Rue. Like all children of Ares, she was tall and muscular, standing at 6'6'' in height. She has dark brown eyes and medium-length brown hair held back by a bandana. Next to her were two boys who were twin sons of Hermes, Travis and Conner Stoll. They were both skinny and rather tall, standing at 6'1'' in height, with curly brown hair and blue eyes. Like most Hermes children, they held some elfish features, upturned eyebrows, sarcastic smiles, and a gleam in their eyes that said they were ready to drop a firecracker down your shirt. Like their father, they had a pretty twisted sense of humor. Beside them was a son of Hephaestus, Leo Valdez. He was short compared to most males, only standing at 5'6'', a diminutive stature with a slim and scrawny build. Leo looked like what others would call "a Latino Santa's elf," as he had curly black hair, dark brown eyes, pointy ears, and a cheerful, elf-like face. He usually wore a mischievous and impish smile on his face and always looked high on caffeine. Across from them were three girls. One was a daughter of Hecate, Lou Ellen Blackstone. Some would mistake her and her siblings for Poseidon's children as they all possess dark hair and green eyes. She wasn't tall but not short either, standing at about 5'7'' in height. Beside her were two daughters of Demeter, Katie and Miranda Gardner. Both girls had brown eyes and freckles, while Katie had curly blonde hair and Miranda had curly brown hair. Miranda stood at 5'8'', and Katie stood at 5'7''.
There was a tense silence-well if you didn't count Poseidon's snickering at them-until Chiron broke it. Chiron found a link to his favorite student, and he wanted to find out where he was. "Well, girls, you say that you are the children of my former student Percy Jackson. Does this mean that you are legacies?" He asked, looking at the two daughters of Percy Jackson. He was kind of unnerved by the stoic looks that they kept on their faces. He had only seen them smile a handful of times, once at him and the rest at Poseidon, though they did seem to relax a little in the presence of Artemis; he took it as her calming sense of nature affecting them.
It was Zoë, he believed, that answered him. "No, we are demigods. We don't know who our godly parent is as we were never told. We have an idea but nothing concrete enough, but our father and grandfather said that they would tell us when the time was right." What she said was technically true. While their father never told them exactly who their mother was whenever they saw her, her name was never said, but he left them enough hints that made it obvious who she was. It was funny that they were in the same room as her, and no one but those who already knew realized it. "Our Father and Grandfather decided that we would be staying in the Poseidon Cabin until or if our Mother claimed us."
No one noticed it, but Artemis flinched at what was said. She was planning on claiming them as soon as she could, but she had to wait. Until the council meeting was held and decided that the 'Order' would help, she couldn't claim then as she feared the possible repercussions. But she wouldn't deny that it hurt her that they thought she wouldn't claim her daughters, her very own children. She just hoped that her father would agree to her and her uncles' plan because if he didn't then, she might still claim them so that they knew she loved them.
After it was agreed that the girls would stay in the Poseidon Cabin, everyone realized that it had gotten relatively late, so they decided that the twins would be introduced to camp and given a tour in the morning. Everyone bid each other goodnight, with Poseidon leading the twins to their new cabin before leaving and everyone else going to theirs. Poseidon didn't miss the longing look Artemis sent towards her daughters, but he knew that she knew that it wasn't time yet. She would get her time with her daughters, just not at this moment. After he dropped the twins off, he left, knowing that he needed to prepare.
It would be in the coming days that all kinds of surprises would be brought upon them. Things long forgotten to even the Olympians will reappear, and the real question is, where does Percy Jackson fit into all of this. But everyone knew that if he returned, then it meant trouble was bound to follow.
A/N: I would appreciate constructive criticism, but don't flame as there is a difference. I will also try my best to answer your questions that you leave in the comments. If I post a chapter and there are random mistakes in it, the reason is that I am uploading this on my phone. I will also write other stories as well aside from this one. You might think that my stories are similar to others; well, that is because I take inspiration from other stories. Another reason for this is that I hate it when I am reading a story and the author leaves it unfinished and doesn't even give a reason why they stopped. I will sometimes just take an unfinished story and try to continue it or add my own twist. I do this because I think that it is fun and I can get bored pretty easily. When I do this I will mention the story title and name of the author that I took inspiration/used material from. Remember, if you don't like it. Then why are you reading it?
