AN: Sorry it's been a while. I've been focused on writing other stories. Stories I don't intend to post until they are either done or have a good chapter count. When I lose my muse for a story, I start writing others, which I realize for those that wait for another chapter of my ongoing stories is an annoyance. I apologize for that.

Chapter 2 of Teddy Lupin is almost done. Chapter 1 has been edited and will be posted soon; I'll probably release it with Chapter 2 within the next 2 weeks.

New Dimension is, unfortunately, going on indefinite hiatus. I posted the initial prologue I wrote. But the reviews I got annoyed me greatly, all because people didn't read the author's note. I contemplated deleting the story and when I reworked it to repost but decided against it. When I get inspiration, I will redo chapters 1 and 2 but it's not a high priority. I'm sorry if you were waiting for the next chapter but I don't know when I will get to it.

What I'm currently writing are 2 stories that I already have almost 10 chapters each of, as I said above, I plan on releasing those when there further along.

The first is my obligatory marriage contract story that features Harry/Tonks/Katie. It's set during POA. Time travel happens and Harry manages to catch Peter and free Sirius. In doing so Sirius is Lord Black and reinstates the Tonks family and emancipates Harry at his behest to get away from Dumbledore's machinations. Harry then finds himself betrothed to Tonks due to a contract that Arcturus Black and Charlus Potter initiated when they agreed to the marriage of Charlus and Dorea.

The second is another time travel fic set during GOF that features Harry time traveling through the means of the Goblet. Which angers him greatly, this Harry is an experienced Hit-Wizard. Pairings for that are undecided. Right now, it's either Tonks, Amelia Bones (who's only 12 years older than him in the story now), Hestia Jones, or Fleur Delacour. Two of the pairings will be picked as it's Polyamory, Lord Black, and Lord Potter. I know a lot of people dislike the Lordship angles, but I always liked them. With the wizarding world stuck hundreds of years in the past it feels right to me. I'm enjoying writing this story, I wrote over 20k words in 2 days for it.

I have started a third which is my WBWL story. That is a crossover with DC. It features a Harry raised and trained by Batman. Pairings for that are Harry/Kara/Zatanna, though that one could easily turn into a Harem even if I'm not big on them. In the story, Harry is three years older initially until he spends 5 years in a hell dimension which is only a year in the outside world. This story features Dr. Fate, Harry. He and his girlfriends are members of the Justice League. I'm not very far in this, less than two chapters, I have it planned out though.

I have also got a new laptop that isn't a slow piece of junk that I had since I was in college (which was almost a decade ago). In buying the new laptop I've been writing much more, mostly due to not having to wait 15 minutes for the computer to boot up. I also downloaded Grammarly, so hopefully, my works are an easier read, I have gone and started editing this story. The first two chapters are done.

Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter; I write for my enjoyment and hopefully for others. I'm not making any money off of this.

Chapter 12: Wanderings and Start of Term:

Harry was awoken early by his boisterous girlfriend. Was she, his girlfriend? He wasn't sure, all he could manage to think right now was how early it was and why the hell she jumped on him. After living with her for three months he should be used to her oddities, but no. In truth he probably liked her oddities, he didn't appreciate waking up at dawn and being pounced on though.

"Dora what the hell!"

Dora grinned at her boyfriend. "Oi! Come on, I got a lot to show you!"

Scowling at her, "You do know I've been going here for the last 4 years, right?"

Wagging her finger at her fellow metamorph, "But no one knows that got to keep up with the pretense, right?"

Her grin turned frightening, there was something hidden in it that made him want to crawl back under the covers and whimper for her to go away. Unfortunately, his familiar had other ideas as he blasted him with a low-level energy pulse that knocked him and Dora to the ground.

Their positions had now reversed and had him on top of her, causing both of their faces to flush as they quickly scrambled away from each other.

$ Just mate with her already, it might shut her up for once $ His snickering horned serpent said.

Harry turned towards his traitorous snake, $ Dammit Zephyr it's too early for your shit. $

Dora was looking at the two wondering what they were arguing about now. Knowing Zephyr is probably something perverted.

Shrugging, she decided to end their feud. "Come on let's get brekkie and then go explore!"

Harry let out a sigh, there was now winning against Dora. "You do know we have classes today?" She nodded. "I guess we can explore for a bit, now go I got to get dressed."

"Or you could stay like that, I don't mind," Dora said giving him her best-perverted grin.

Shaking his head, he shoved her out of his room, a pout adorned her face. Dressing in his school uniform, he glanced at his appearance in the mirror. Deciding to adjust his morph to his new default appearance, he still had trouble holding his morph in his sleep. He felt like a blonde for the day, so he morphed his hair to follow suit, he decided to make it look more exotic though by adding red streaks throughout the blonde.

Exiting the room, he noticed Dora waiting for him expectantly. He wasn't even out of his room for 10 seconds before she grabbed his arm and started dragging him through both common rooms and then through the portrait. He should be annoyed but instead, he felt slightly amused as usual at her 'personality'.

When they finally made it to the great hall, he almost went to the Gryffindor table, thankfully Dora was still attached to his arm.

Sitting down he loaded up his plate. Since his growth, his appetite had felt unending. Andromeda and Ted had told him it would be like that for a while, the effects of the potions could only do so much, after all, his body needed nutrients he had missed out on. The fact that he was still growing was another reason, as was being a metamorph. A condition that drained a lot of energy from the body.

"You excited to explore your new home?" Dora asked between mouthfuls of food.

Giving her a grin, "Of course I am Dora." The way he said it was in a clear form of sarcasm, causing her to raise her eyebrow while her mouth twitched.

He didn't know why she wanted to explore the castle; he had lived here for the last 4 years after all. It couldn't all be a pretense to get him alone, could it? No, she probably was doing it so that he would have an alibi if he needed to explain how he knew things about the castle.

They quickly demolished their small mountain of food, a mountain he mused that Ron would have loved to eat himself. He felt a sudden pang in his chest at the thought of his missing best mate. It was odd to be back here without Ron, and Hermione.

He was broken out of his thoughts as Dora nudged him with her shoulder, "Come on Evans, let's get our schedules from Professor Sprout so we can dip out."

Following her, to the head table, they made their way to their head of house.

"Wotcher Professor Sprout! Any chance we can get our schedules so I can go show this one around a bit before classes." She jerked her thumb at him.

Professor Sprout gave her a fond smile before digging through the stack of schedules on the table.

Before giving over their schedules she spoke, "Good morning to you two also. Now Ms. Tonks I do hope you'll show him the castle and not just the broom cupboards."

This caused his hair to redden as Professor Sprout let out a giggle, "No Promises Professor!" Tonks added with a flirtatious wink at him, causing a blush to accompany his red hair.

Getting their schedules Dora led them out of the Great Hall giving the newly entered Hestia a wave, which she sent back.

Before they made their journey she glanced down at her schedule and let out a groan. Glancing down he saw the cause of her groan, the cause being Potions was their first class, followed by History of Magic, and then Ancient Runes.

"At least we have Ancient Runes." He weakly stated, causing Dora to give him a deadpan stare that made him shuffle uncomfortably.

Dora huffed a little, "We have a little over an hour before we have to head to the dungeons, so let me show you my favorite place in the castle."

Grabbing the sleeve of his robes she started dragging him up the stairs. Stairs that seemed unending as she dragged him up seven flights of stairs. He tried to question her only for her to shush him.

Shrugging he continued the long journey, at least the journey back would be down the stairs rather than up them he thought. Dora then stopped in front of a tapestry that showcased a man trying to teach what looked like trolls to dance. Mentally sighing, at the odd tapestry, only at Hogwarts.

Dora ignored the questioning gaze of her boyfriend as she marched three times back and forth around the tapestry. Thinking that she wanted a nice quiet room to snog her boyfriend the whole time.

She giggled at the look of wonder on her boyfriend's face as the door to the come-and-go room materialized. Pulling him into the room, she slammed him back first into the now closed door as she started snogging the living daylights out of him.

One minute the wall was solid the next there was a door, a door which he was pulled through, and the next he was slammed against as Dora preceded to push her tongue down his throat. Not that he was complaining, he felt awkward though as he lost himself in their clumsy actions.

Breaking out of the snog to catch his breath, something Dora was doing at the same time. Before she could continue, he held her back causing her to give him a look of hurt.

She moved him out of the way of the door as she went to leave. At least until he did what she did and pushed her against the door and mirrored her previous actions. It felt like a lifetime that they spent kissing. In reality, it wasn't even 5 minutes, they had yet to realize that they should breathe through their noses

Breaking away again he cupped her cheek as she leaned into his touch. Looking at her he realized that she returned to her default state. Long black curly hair with violet eyes. She looked incredibly like a younger version of her mother, though he could see traces of her father in her nose.

"What are we, Dora?" He blurted out.

Narrowing her eyes, "What the hell do you mean! I don't just snog random people, I'm not a slag." She finished with a growl.

Raising his hand to placate her, "I didn't mean it like that, it's just one minute you flirt with me and the next you're kissing me like we're the only two people in the world."

Looking at him nervously, "I like you Har, I like you a lot." Finishing with a shy look.

A look he couldn't help kissing her for.

Pushing him away, she needed to tell him what she should have told him on his birthday. Walking to the center of the room she sat cross-legged sideways on the love seat as Harry took a seat next to her his body turned towards her.

"I fudged things up when we first met. I didn't realize how bad it was until I started to get to know you and realized that I was pushing you to be what I wanted you to be."

Raising her hand to halt his protest, "Don't Har, we both know I did. When I kissed you that day, that was my first kiss. Even if our first real kiss wasn't until yesterday."

A lone tear went down her left eye as she wiped it away ignoring the concerned look Harry was giving her. "Afterwards I stopped looking at you as just another metamorph and I looked at you for who you were. I won't lie what drew me in was you being like me. Though I didn't fall for Harry the Metamorph, I fell for Harry the man who always does his best to make sure his friends are ok."

Giving him a soft smile at the look of happiness on his face, "I wanted to tell you how I felt on your birthday, but I didn't want to push my expectations on you."

Realization passed across Harry's face, "That's why you seemed off when we got home, and why you avoided me for a while."

She nodded at him, "Yeah, I didn't want to ruin your birthday and then I was just worried that you wouldn't feel the same way."

Taking her hands in his, "I can't say how I'm feeling Dora because I don't know. What I do know is I like being around you, at this point my best friend is you."

She gave him a wonderous smile that made his heart skip a beat, shaking his head he continued, "I do want to see where this goes though, I can't imagine my life without you. While I don't like the circumstances that caused my arrival, I can say with you and your family I for once feel completely at home."

She pulled him into a hug and whispered in his ear, "Our family Harry. My parents love you and think of you as their son."

A sob escaped him as he tried to utilize his Occlumency to control the relief and love he felt at that. Leaving Dora's embrace he kissed her on the cheek, causing her to let out her wonderful laugh.

"Let's just take this slow Dora, I've never had a relationship before. Outside of the Yule ball I've never even had a date."

Glaring at him, "Fine! But I get to plan our first date, and it's only your first ever date. Whatever date you supposedly had at the Yule Ball that was more of an obligation, this will be a real date."

"Something quiet at least please." He managed to say weakly.

Her tinkling laugh echoed around the small room, "No love declarations from the Eiffel Tower then?"

Giving her a glare of his own, which broke as she laughed at him.

Grabbing his right hand, "I know how you feel Har, it will be nice and quiet."

Sighing in relief, "Thanks Dora, I appreciate it."

Cupping his cheeks in her hand she leaned forward and gave him a soft kiss that was filled with her affections. Resting her forehead on his, "I'm your girlfriend now, though surprise snogs will have to wait, at least for now." She finished with a teasing glint in her eye.

Kissing her softly, "I suppose I could do worse for a first girlfriend." He teased back.

Slapping him on the arm, "Careful Har, wouldn't want to make someone who can shift into you angry now would you."

Gulping loudly, he thought of the ramifications of the trouble that could befall him if he pissed his girlfriend off.

Laughing at him she wrapped her arms around his neck, "Besides love, I plan to be your only girlfriend."

Seeing the tease in her eyes, "Is that a proposal Dora? We haven't even had our first date yet!" He teased back.

Shrugging at him, "What can I say Har, a girl just knows."

He paled as the thoughts of his girlfriend terrified him. Seeing his expression, she decided to let him down easy, "I'm just playing Har, like you said before will see where we go from here. Though if I'm being honest, I'm not going to let someone so good get away from me."

He let out a sigh of relief, "Don't even joke about marriage. I'm too young to think about that."

Chuckling at him, "So am I, besides we could be together for decades and still not be married, mum might grumble though."

Snorting at that, "I think if we shacked up and weren't married, she would kill me."

Shaking her head, "More like me, she sees you as innocent. Probably because she worries, I'll corrupt you."

Raising his eyebrow, "Is that your plan, Dora."

Winking at him, "Guess you'll have to wait and see."

Smiling at her antics he looked down at the watch he got before he returned to Hogwarts, he noticed that they only had 20 minutes to get to the dungeon. Flashing his watch to her she noticed the time and nodded, they needed to get their supplies. Shifting back into their school look they made their way out of the room.

They practically ran towards their common room. Grabbing their supplies they bolted towards the Potions room, which was thankfully not too far from their common room.

By the time they reached the potions classroom, they were both out of breath.

Hestia gave them a wry grin, "Too busy snogging your boyfriend Tonks?" Harry's hair turned red as Dora just smiled at her. Harry noticed the looks that some of the males were giving him, they seemed downright pissed.

For a moment he wondered why until he realized the looks of desire that his girlfriend was getting. Pulling her to his side he kissed her cheek, an action that she reciprocated. Unknown to him the girls were giving her the same looks that the guys had given him.

Snape appeared at the doorway only to freeze when he spotted Harry who was still sporting his red hair. He didn't see him at that moment as Harry Evans, he saw his lost love, Lily Evans. A part of him wondered if the boy was related to his Lily.

Ignoring those thoughts he snapped, "EVANS! This isn't a theater, change your hair to something natural." He finished with a sneer.

Harry almost retorted that red hair was natural but held his tongue, he knew that it wouldn't do him any good. Shifting his hair to blonde, he glared at the potion master. Some of the students seemed to be surprised at his morphing, they probably thought that he was just using glamour charms.

After that, the class shuffled into the room and had the typical potions lesson. Which consisted of a lot of sneering from the teacher and unfair grading. When he was Harry Potter, he was constantly singled out but as Harry Evans, he was mostly ignored, which was a welcome change.

That's not to say that the class was easy for him. Snape seemed to be in a foul mood, which he took out on the Hufflepuffs as he derided them and unfairly grade their work. He and Dora had worked out a schedule that would have them practicing their potions work in secret before they even entered Hogwarts this year.

They needed to get into NEWT potions to qualify for the Aurors. While he still wasn't sure that he would become an Auror or an Unspeakable he did realize that Potions was important. He had come to love potions when Ted and Andromeda had tutored him.

He abhorred the thought of entering NEWT potions as much as was excited to enter it. He knew that he needed an O to get into the class, thankfully they wouldn't be tested for the OWLS by the biased Snape.

After potions, they made their way to afternoon nap time. He had decided early on that he would just study for the OWLS in history on his own, which was mirrored by the entirety of the class as they all choose to sleep. It was nice not to be chastised by Hermione. He didn't plan to continue History to NEWT anyway.

When history let out, they made their way to the Great Hall to get some lunch. Sitting at the table in between Hestia and Dora. They were soon joined by Charlie and Bill across from them.

"How's your first day going, Evans?" Bill wondered.

Scratching his chin, "Not bad, Dora showed me a weird room before we went to Potions."

Bill gave her a questioning look, "Trolls, seventh floor." She said.

Their three companions gave them a look of understanding, as the rest of the table looked at them in confusion. Harry went to ask only for Dora to shake her head and mouth later.

Shrugging he went back to his meal. They idly chattered as they ate. He was excited about Ancient Runes, and it didn't disappoint. With his studying, he had an easy time following along, though he did stumble a few times.

Today had been a good day. He had gotten himself a girlfriend and for once he hadn't felt like he was the center of attention even with his metamorph gift. He was sure of one thing, he liked being Harry Evans over Harry Potter, even though it was fiction. He knew that he would eventually have to reclaim his identity, but for now, he was happy being Harry Phillip Evans.
