Chapter 7: Revelations Of The Creed & Moon Part 1

A/N: This will be in every chapter from now on, so you can ignore this first paragraph of the author note if you want. I would just like to thank those who read my story as this is the first one I am doing. I am quite nervous as writing is more of something I do to pass the time, so I am not the best. I try my best with grammar and spelling, so before I post a chapter, I put it through Grammarly, but even that is not perfect. A thing that I will say is that every chapter won't be the same length. The chapters will range from 3,000 words to possibly 6,000 words, but I will try to stay consistent with the lengths. I will state this in every chapter, but I am going to use information from every current Assassin's Creed game there is. I have never played Assassin's Creed personally, but I have watched others play the game on Youtube, so my information will most likely come from the Assassin's Creed Fandom Wiki.

Before I get to the responses to the reviews, I would like to give a big thanks to everyone who wished me luck in college and my new situation. I understand if I have lost readers due to being inactive due to this situation. For those who stayed and waited, I thank you and would like to hear from you in the reviews or even a private message. For any new readers, thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoy the story. I would like to say about my stories: while I would just like to focus on this story and finish it through, that might not happen. Since I have not been writing fanfiction, I have read quite a bit of it. This has forced plenty of story ideas into my mind, such as Pokémon, Percy Jackson & the Olympians, Assassins Creed, Game of Thrones, and Star Wars. I might start on other stories, but I have set a max of only three as all ideas get too mixed up after that. I won't start this until probably around chapter ten of this story. Just know that story two, though, will be book one of my Naruto/Pokémon book series. I hope I didn't confuse you and understand what I am saying; if you have any questions or ideas, just private message me.

I will say that college is a great experience, but it does have some downsides. These downsides don't apply to everyone; these are just things that happened to me. One downside was as a result of the COVID-19 shutdowns. I got very lax in my work, so my first few assignments hit me hard. I got A's on all of them, but the pressure did get to me. I now sometimes struggle with anxiety that hits its hardest around tests. My sleep schedule is also shot. While I would like to be laid down by 11:00 pm and asleep by 12:00-12:30 am, it has not worked out. I am asleep around 1:30 am to 2:30 am, not the best for anyone. Another downside is something that I don't think I have mentioned but might have and just forgot. I have had seizures all of my life. Now I have gotten these under control as best as possible due to medication, and I can usually tell when I will have one. It's just a strange feeling I get. I just still get nervous because of them, and when I get sick, I am affected on a terrible level. So I am almost constantly in a state of anxiety because of my fear of having a seizure if I feel the littlest bit sick.

I haven't had a seizure in just under a year, but that doesn't mean I won't have one. Enough about that stuff; let me get to the positives. The first is that I have made a decent amount of friends for coming to college as an introvert. When the weather was warmer, I would almost always go out at night and play volleyball on the sand courts, where I met most of my friends. But Colorado weather has decided that playing volleyball outside shouldn't happen anymore, so we can only meet at dining halls or our dorm halls. I got a job that pays well and works great with my schedule during my first week on campus. I had a great Thanksgiving during my break, and I hope you all did as well if you celebrate it.

Lonely warrior of death: the story looks good. I like the concept of an older Percy. I barely see it in these kind of stories where he goes away for a long time. Writing on a cellphone can suck sometimes. I have to do it sometimes to update one of my own fics. I hope your situation gets better so you can keep writing. Good Luck! Thanks for the positive words about my story. I also like the concept of an older Percy. I chose it because most fanfics I read of him leaving, he is only gone for a few years but is somehow a completely new person. In my opinion, the time frame is too small for the drastic changes that Percy has gone through. I just don't think that going from 17 to 22 changes someone that much. I guess that in the Riordanverse, it can, but I just like to see some real-world comparisons. Yes, I have decided to forego all writing on a cellphone for now as it just doesn't work for me. My writing situation has gotten a little better, but not much. I also wish you luck on your own fics.

Guest: Too much talk, but not bad. Yeah, I was kind of rushed in getting the last chapter out, so it wasn't even close to my best of work. I am sorry if anyone was disappointed; I just wanted to give you (my readers) something. When I get to Chapter 10, I plan to put all of this through Grammarly and make proper edits to clean it up a bit.

Zephyruxx: Been a while since you last updated. I hope you are doing ok. I never intended for this massive hiatus. It just kind of happened, and then I got too busy to write. I am doing better now. My first semester is almost over, just one week left!

Lycaon1096: The story makes you want to continue to the next chapter and the next one. Keep up the good work and update soon. Thanks for saying that. My goal for this story and any future stories is to keep my readers wanting more. I have read so many unfinished fanfics with amazing potential that it's not even funny.

dxlxtxd xccxxnt: Damn that sucks. Good story so far though, you gonna include some other Titans and give more insight into the plans of the Templars in the future as well? Would certainly be interesting. I plan to include some other Titans; I just don't know which ones. I plan to give some insight into the Templar plans but don't know when and how much. I mean, they evaded the gods for millennia, so I think they are tight-lipped about many things.

DeletedStories: Sorry for the late review, I have been incredibly busy lately, and I just have not had the time to properly read and review the chapter. Anyway, welcome back! It has been a while since the last update. Hopefully, the next one doesn't take as long to get out as this one did. So, this is my review for Chapter 6. I will be pointing out mistakes and writing what I think about the chapter. Anyway, I really like this chapter. I am hoping that the reveal of Zoe and Andromeda being daughters of Artemis is coming soon. As for what I think about the chapter: 1. I really like the talks between Zoe, Andromeda, and Reyna. It really shows the bond that they all share. 2. Good to know that Nico knows about everything. I was wondering what he has been doing and his relation to the Order and everything. 3. Good to see Jason and Piper again. Shame that Jason has become pretty arrogant. Guess I shouldn't be surprised, with him being a son of Jupiter and all. 4. I like that the Amazon's are involved with the Order and everything. Lol'd at the Kinzie part, though. Glad to see Reyna finds it funny too. Wonder what Artemis would think of it. As for the mistakes, I have not seen many big mistakes in this chapter, only some minor ones, so nice job. Maybe I missed some, but if that is the case, I'm sure other people can point them out for you. So starting off, in my opinion, I think you should separate these big wall text paragraphs into more, tinier paragraphs. They can be a little "intimidating" and can make you lose your spot when you are reading, as has happened to me quite a few times. Another thing I suggest is to replace the words 'The male' with just 'He' in the sentence, "The male stood around 6'2 with deathly pale skin and shaggy black hair." You already said that the person is a male in the sentence before, so there really is no reason for him to still be called a male. Just saying he is good. Another thing I think you should change is to rewrite this sentence: "After everyone was sat down and about started eating, a horn went off, signaling the arrival of the Romans." You should change that into something like this: "After everyone was sat down and about to start eating, a horn went off, signaling the arrival of the Romans." Another mistake I noticed is that you forgot the 'r' in the word Greek in the sentence, "Before Piper and Jason could ask her what she meant by that, she walked away towards the table that held the immortal Geek Campers." Another thing you should change is in the sentence, "Everyone at the table just looked at him while he was stupid." You should replace 'while' with 'like'. You should also replace the word 'well' with 'we' in the sentence, "Now, before well tell you about our aid, we must first give you some vital information that you all must know." So, this is my review on the mistakes in this chapter that I have caught. These are all of my suggestions, and you don't have to change everything I suggest if you don't want to, I am just simply trying to help you make the story better. Anyway, you are doing some great work, and I am really loving this story, so excellent job. I can't wait until the next update. Thanks for the very informative review. Your review wasn't late at all. I am the one who is late on my writing. Also, the reveal for Zoë and Andromeda will be soon, but I want to give a little "backstory" to how their father met their mother… again. I mainly put the talks between Reyna and the twins to show how strong their relationship is. From what I have experienced through friends, kids don't always get along with the step-parent. I feel that even if they always knew she wasn't their blood mother, they see her as one. My personal belief is that the parents are the ones who raised and truly cared for the kids. Just because you gave birth or are the man whose seed gave them life doesn't mean you deserve to be a parent. Family isn't always blood-related. That was just my opinion, so ignore it if you want; I don't want a debate to start over this. I have always seen Nico as Percy's right-hand man if he ever needed something, so him knowing about the Order seems right to me. Yeah, I didn't know what people's reactions would be to Jason. I liked him as a character in the books; he was great. But since the fight between him and Percy in Kansas, I have always had this image of him becoming like Zeus. Also, reading all of the PJO fanfics I have, his image was not improved. I put in the Kinzie part after going on Fandom to get more background on some characters. I was looking at the Amazons, mainly Hylla, for a potential lot point or flashback to show a meeting between the Order and the Amazons. This reminded me of what she was like to Percy when the Amazons held him and Frank captive. I kind of want to write something, maybe just a one-shot of a Percy and Kinzie relationship. Artemis and Reyna think it's funny as it makes Percy uncomfortable, as not much does anymore. I plan to fix the paragraph situation when I do my big edit after chapter 10. The same thing with fixing some of the mistakes you mentioned; if I do one big edit, I can see how well my writing flows. I appreciate all of your suggestions; suggestions like yours help me improve my story and writing as a whole. I hope this update is an improvement from the last chapter.

Disclaimer: I don't own anything in this story relating to Percy Jackson & the Olympians or the Assassin's Creed saga. If there is any talk in a different language as Assassin's Creed covers the entire world and Percy Jackson & the Olympians sometimes speak in Greek and Latin, it will be in bold and italics.

"Educate them. Teach them right from wrong. It must be knowledge that frees them, not force."

- Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad

- Long Island - Camp Half-Blood -

Since there was nothing left to discuss, the gods were about to dismiss them until someone spoke up. Everyone looked towards who prolonged the meeting. They were all curious when they saw that it was Ares who spoke.

"Now, before everyone tries leaving, I think that Artemis has forgotten to announce something that has remained a secret for a while now." He said with a knowing look being sent towards the aforementioned goddess. Almost everyone was confused by what he meant, with whispers going around about possible answers, with most of them surrounding the Assassins Order.

Artemis froze as she knew what Ares was talking about. She wasn't emotionally prepared to do what Ares wanted as she thought she still had time. The fact that another god found out her secret so fast after just being discreetly shown it a few days prior made her scared. She wasn't scared for herself but rather for her daughters' safety as she knew how her father would react. She gave a small signal to her uncles, who understood what it meant, protect the girls at all cost. No one seemed to notice Nico materialize behind the twins and Reyna. Before she could speak, she heard the voice of Dionysus.

"So we are finally going to talk about this. I thought that I was the only one to notice, with how quiet the rest of you were being." Artemis really should have expected him to notice with the look he gave her in the dining pavilion. This seemed to garner even more attention and whispers from the audience as the gods tried to figure out what was being insinuated by the two gods. As a goddess of war, Athena noticed the tensing forms of her uncles and was trying to figure out what they were planning.

"Since Ares and Dionysus seemed to have figured it out, I guess there is no other option left." Artemis took a deep breath. "The thing is… when Perseus left all those years ago, it was because he felt that he had completed his mission. If this confuses you, then you must know that when Perseus first reached Camp Half-Blood, he wasn't as clueless as you thought. People of Perseus's lineage on his mom's side are trained to blend into every type of environment they enter just by looking at those surrounding them. He immediately knew how he should have acted when we got to camp just by analyzing how his friend Grover acted when he and his mom were attacked."

Murmurs were starting to spread through the crowd, most not believing what was being told to them. It was understandable to Artemis, though; she didn't believe it at first when Perseus told her. She looked towards her fellow Olympians; Most were absorbing what she said. Ares acted as if he already understood, which she then realized why. There was one person who could connect Ares to anything in the order. Kassandra, the granddaughter of his champion from long ago, Leonidas I of Sparta. While she believed that Kassandra would never betray the order, she wouldn't doubt that Ares would keep an eye on someone he deemed as the epitome of what a warrior should be. Shelving the thought for later, Artemis prepared to continue where she left off.

"I understand if you don't believe any of what I am saying, most believing that Perseus couldn't do what I am saying. You all think he is a terrible actor. He couldn't lie to save his life. He is way too clumsy to be an assassin. Remember what I spoke of earlier than ask yourself these questions again." People seemed to start to realize that the Perseus they knew or heard of wasn't what they were finding out to be the truth. The immortal campers seemed to be in denial, with only Piper, Hazel, and Frank accepting it. She remembered her husband telling her about others knowing the truth but being sworn to secrecy. Maybe they knew.

"Ahem," everyone turned towards Poseidon as he gathered everyone's attention. "As I can see where my niece is going, I will say this. If you arrogantly think that he must have still been untrained, don't. He never truly tried when he sparred with you campers. My son once spoke to me; it was just after he, Thalia, and Annabeth arrived on Olympus when they completed the quest to save Artemis. He told me that he recognized Zoë, Artemis's former lieutenant, as one of the few people he thought could kill him." That confused many; why did this matter, they thought. "He said that thought of her as a warrior with little equal, and he would ensure she would be honored, even if no one knew. Also, so that you know, the list of those that he recognized as this has yet to reach ten. I would later learn that he had Zoë recognized as an honorary member of the Order and even a master-level assassin into their record books. So, until an order of the most elite warriors recognizes your ability, don't so you are a warrior."

No one noticed, but Artemis had tears gather in her silver eyes. She never knew anything about what Perseus thought or did for Zoë. Then she remembered what her husband said when the twins were born, naming their daughters. "She will be named Zoë, after a valiant warrior who fought to her last breath". Artemis always thought that she saw something else in his eyes as if he was not speaking to just her, but to someone who wasn't there. She didn't think she could love her husband any more than she already did, but she was just proved wrong. Artemis then discreetly wiped her tears away before speaking.

"Thank you for saying that, Uncle," Artemis said as she was grateful for it. "Now, during the war, Perseus himself couldn't always fight the way he wanted to as it would bring unwanted questions. Don't take this as him not trying in the war. Perseus instead enlisted the help of his fellow assassins to help fight from the shadows, with neither side knowing. If you don't believe me, then let my uncle show you." Everyone turned towards Poseidon and Hades, with the former waving his hand and mist consolidating before a video of sorts started playing.

Flashback

- Manhattan, New York City -

There was a small gathering of about twelve people. They all wore the same assortment of clothes in dark shades of colors. The figures wore robes with the hood being shaped like an eagle's beak in the center. The lower portion was layered, with the back of the robes extending down lower than the front. Around the waist was a red sash, with pouches containing supplies and a sheath for a sword connected to the belt. Scabbards for throwing knives were contained at the right shoulder, at the front of the waist, and on the left boot. Around the back was a belt containing a sheath for a dagger, which was buckled below the shoulder.(1)

"Is this necessary, Kassandra? The clothes, I mean? These are outdated from times of Altaïr." A blonde Russian woman spoke. She was young, only looking to be in her late twenties with fair skin, looking towards her leader. The leader was a tall, beautiful woman with bronze skin and brown hair, but she possessed various weapons, unlike her comrades. Strapped to her back was an intricately designed golden bow with a matching quiver filled to the brim with arrows. A shortsword was strapped to her belt, opposite to the other sword she had. Under the bow and quiver was a gold staff with an incredibly detailed pointed end that consisted of twin snakes coiling around one another and ending with a pair of angelic wings. In her right hand was the head of a broken spear that seemed to radiate a power that only those who knew what it truly was could understand. A golden eagle sat perched on her left shoulder.

"We wear these because the missions we are going to be conducting here aren't regular. You all know of Perseus and the mythological world. Why else would I gather so many master assassins, Galina?" She questioned with a heavy Greek accent. The assassins around her seemed to agree with her, and the Russian woman Galina relented and decided not to complain about the clothes. "The Mentor chose these old assassin robes as they will hide us better and can conceal more weapons. Now, since Perseus cannot blow his cover with the demigods, we will do what we do best and attack from the shadows. These rogue demigods and monsters wish to enslave and eradicate humanity in the name of Kronos. No better than the Templars, so let us show them what it means to fear the protectors of humanity. Now, remember why we do this. Nothing is true…."

"Everything is permitted." Finished the group of assassins as they recited the Assassins' Creed.

We work in the dark…."

"To serve the light…" replied the group of assassins. Kassandra smirked as she pulled up her hood, something the other assassins mimicked.

"We are…"

"Assassins!" Everyone said at once as they split into groups as they seemingly disappeared into the shadows. The enemy would never know that they were there, as only one who lived in the shadows knew what lurked within them. These monsters and demigods would know true fear, fear of the Creed.

The twelve figures worked restlessly through the night into the early morning on the second day of the war. The master assassins took out multiple squads of rogue demigods without notice, along with entire platoons of monsters who were obliterated with ease.

If she had to give these monsters and rogue demigods anything, Kassandra would commend them for their determination. They didn't give up trying to fight for the past day and a half of the war. But the demigods were foolish if they thought that they could take on some of the most elite warriors in the world. It was one thing for Perseus to tell them how the enemy would underestimate them; it was another to see the arrogance the demigods held, thinking that they could defeat them. She and the other master assassins could tell that these children had never killed another human being before. And they were just that, children, not even adults yet. Most of these rogues weren't older than seventeen years of age. Out of anyone in the world, they should know the most that you don't get everything you want in life. Life is unfair like that, and nothing will ever change it.

'Shink, Squelch,' Kassandra faintly heard to her left as Galina activated one of her hidden blades before she stuck it in a demigod's neck while silencing their scream. While she knew it was necessary for this war, Kassandra would never want to kill a child. She looked out the end of the alley they were in when the other ten assassins entered through various means. An assassin carrying a katana instead of Syrian/Yataghan swords the others were using walked up to her with the clear intent to speak.

"Kassandra, we have a large group of demigods walking down this street. I number them at least forty, possibly fifty." This was Kiyoshi Takakura, a member of the Onmoraki-Gumi and Japanese Brotherhood of Assassins. He is one of the Order's most trusted and valuable members. Truthfully, everyone around here was some of the most trustworthy members she knew. There was Hajime Shimada and Tomo Sakagawa, who, like Kiyoshi, were members of the Japanese Brotherhood and very trustworthy. Then there was Yanmei; she was a member of a cell of Assassins belonging to the Chinese Brotherhood of Assassins, led by Barindra Mita, who stood to her side. Barindra was an excellent information gatherer and was key to them currently wiping out all the enemies they have in the past day. Standing beside Galina was Arend Schut-Cunningham, a member of her Assassin cell after the destruction of the Russian Brotherhood of Assassins and an amazing hand-to-hand combatant. Harlan Cunningham was a short distance away, a member of the Italian Brotherhood of Assassins and husband to Arend. Then there was Susan Drayton and Janice, who led a small cell of Assassins and belonged to the Canadian Brotherhood of Assassins. Finally, the woman to her side opposite of Galina, Charlotte de la Cruz, was a member of the American Brotherhood of Assassins and had a rich ancestry within the Order.

"Ok then, we will split into three groups of four and surround them. Group One is me, Galina, Yanmei, and Barindra. Group Two is Kiyoshi, Hajime, Tomo, and Charlotte. Group Three is Harlan, Susan, Arend, and Janice. The plan is simple. We surround them on three sides before moving in. Knowing the demigods, they will underestimate us thinking they will win with numbers. I shouldn't have to tell you not to hold back. Now head to your positions." With Kassadra's piece said, the assassins split into their groups and disappeared.

Kiyoshi was right. About fifty demigods were walking down the street. 'Ok, there's fifty of them and twelve of us, unfair odds, but they have never faced enemies us before. They might have stood a chance if they brought triple the forces.' Thought Kassandra as she assessed the approaching enemy.

Everyone was in position, waiting to ambush the demigods as they walked without caring about their surroundings. As one, all of the assassins knocked an arrow before focusing on one target. At the sound of her eagle Ikaros's cry, everyone let loose their arrows. The bodies dropped with a resounding clang as the armor made contact with the asphalt. It was made apparent that the demigods of Kronos's army didn't expect the fight to be brought to them as they just stared at their fallen comrades in shock. One demigod seemed smart enough to rally the remaining demigods around him as they formed groups.

"WHOEVER IS THERE!? SHOW YOURSELF!" shouted the presumed leader. He didn't seem like much from what Kassandra could see with her eagle vision. The demigod was tall with brown hair and green eyes. The bags under his eyes were enough for Kassandra to know that he wasn't ready to fight his best. But he made one fatal mistake, asking an assassin to show themselves. He would get his wish, but he wouldn't walk away from the result.(2)

The only sound heard before the pandemonium started was that of multiple windows being broken. The demigods looked up only to see multiple robed figures descending upon them with weapons drawn. The demigods were further spread apart to avoid the falling figures.

Kiyoshi didn't know what to think when he was first assigned to this mission. After Daniel Cross attacked and severely injured the Mentor, the assassin order went into even deeper hiding.(3)(4) This wasn't the first major Order mission since the incident, but it was the first to include so many Master Assassins. It was even a bigger surprise that Kassandra was the one leading the mission as she normally only did missions with her apprentice Perseus and was a legend to every Assassin and Templar.

While the mythological world wasn't a mystery to the Order, they usually left it to the members who had ties to the mythological. Now though, he was thankful that he and the others were assigned to this mission. He couldn't imaging having to kill someone that was family to him. So as he jumped through the window and onto the street, he remembered that he was doing this for the greater good of the world and his fellow assassins.

With a slight motion of his hand, Kiyoshi motioned for his team to corral one of the demigod groups away from the others. He counted thirteen in total for this group as he moved one hand to the communicator in his ear. "Each of you takes four apiece, and I'll handle the final five. Hajime and Tomo, I want you to ensure that anyone who tries to run is taken out when you finish. Charlotte, I want you to come with me to ensure that no one unwanted has seen us." His team responded in conformation to the order. With that said, they attacked.

Kiyoshi didn't even need to parry the first strike from the boy charging him. A simple spin and a reverse stab, and the demigod was on the ground in a growing pool of blood. The remaining four were in shock at the ease Kiyoshi handled their comrade. Three boys and a girl remained. Kiyoshi grabbed a throwing knife from his shoulder and flicked his wrist, sending it into the boy's throat to his left while he simultaneously moved towards the girl on the right. She barely registered his katana about to bisect her as she got her shield up, never realizing it was a distraction. Kiyoshi unsheathed the dagger on his back as he parried and dodged one of the boys trying to skewer him from behind with a spear. Neither demigod would have expected the redirected spear to pierce the girl's throat.

Acting quickly on the demigod's frozen form, Kiyoshi shoved his dagger into his side before driving it into his throat. Kiyoshi gave chase, noticing the last demigod trying to run in his peripheral vision. Once close enough, Kiyoshi jumped while activating the hidden blades on his wrists. As he fell on the scared demigod, he drove both blades through the back of his neck. As he returned to grab his dropped weapons, Kiyoshi noticed that the girl was still alive, just clinging on to life as he tried to step the blood flowing from her throat. Deciding to end her misery, he stabbed her in the neck again, severing her spinal cord. "Rest in peace," Kiyoshi muttered. To distract himself, he looked at the fights of his comrades and noticed that they had all finished. At an unheard signal, the team divided to do their assigned tasks.

Harlan didn't mind the mission assigned to him. He was always ready to accept a mission, the fact that this mission came directly from the Mentor and was marked as of the utmost importance just fueled his curiosity about what it was. A plus was being assigned to the mission with a team that included his husband, Arend. And that is where he was, standing back-to-back with his love while being surrounded by eight demigods; he could make out Janice and Susan doing the same thing.

"Well, Arend, this feels familiar," Harlan spoke to his husband as the demigods tried to tighten their circle around them. He noticed that there were five males and three females around them, most carrying swords while some had spears.

"You are not wrong, Harlan, just this time, we are surrounded by children and not Templars," Arend responded. The two assessed their targets and came to the same conclusion, with just a little disarray, these demigods would fall apart. Without a word, the two set off; Arend brandished dual trench knives while Harlan unsheathed his shortsword.

Arend ducked under the first slash before punching the attacker in the stomach and sweeping his legs. He quickly slit his throat before rolling forward to avoid a spear thrust at his back. Turning around, he caught a downward sword strike by crossing his blades. Noticing the spear wielder rushing from the side, Arend slightly rotated before pressing a button on the pommel. The blade launched from the knuckle guard, hitting the demigod between his eyes. He was dead before his body hit the asphalt.

Arend quickly launched the other blade into the arm of his previous attacker, making him drop his sword. Before the demigod could utter a sound, the assassin quickly snapped his neck. Turning around, Arend noticed that the demigod was still ready to fight. He noticed that she only wielded a small dagger, so he decided against brandishing any more of his weapons. She charged him while yelling, which confused Arend as he didn't understand what it would accomplish. 'Hasn't she realized that shouting like that only gives away your position and intent to attack. Kids these days don't know a thing about the basics of fighting anymore; it's sad,' Arend thought. He easily batted away her first few strikes before grabbing her arm and pulling her towards himself. A knee to her gut took away her breath; he then threw an elbow into her face, forcing her back up. With a quick jab to her throat, Arend crushed her larynx before snapping her neck as well. Looking at her fear-stricken face, Arend whispered, "Rest in peace."

Harlan immediately slid under three simultaneous spear thrusts before lunging forward and sheathing his sword in the chest of the girl in front of him. Not bothering to remove his blade, Harlan grabbed a throwing knife in each hand. He quickly threw them at the legs of the other two spear wielders. As they fell in pain, he grabbed the spear of the girl he killed. Without looking, Harlan twirled the spear to deflect an arrow launched from the side. A quick step to the right and a spin had the boy's throat slit by the spear tip.

Turning back towards the two demigods he hit with his throwing knives, Harlan noticed that one was up, while the other was struggling. Walking towards the struggling demigod, the other tried to limp towards his position to stop him. Lazily batting away the spear thrust, Harlan activated his hidden blade before stabbing the boy in the gut; his armor did little to stop the blade. Harlan continued walking, forcing the dying demigod to stumble backward before falling beside the struggling demigod on the ground. He slit both of their throats with his stolen spear in one simple stroke. Dropping the spear, he walked towards his finished comrades. "I want everyone to form a perimeter and silence anyone who has strayed too close to us," Harlan commanded before the group split up to do as Harlan told them.

Kassandra eyed the five demigods in front of her with a critical eye, especially the leader from before. He seemed to be more powerful than the rest, but not recognizing any known traits of the Olympians' children; she could only assume that he was the child of a minor god or goddess. Kassandra unsheathed the Sword of Damokles(5). It was made of the same material as all Pieces of Eden while radiating the same presence as the broken spear in her right hand. Kassandra slid into a stance, preparing to defend and attack whoever struck first.

A girl to her left lunged at her while bringing her sword downward, thinking Kassadra's one-handed grip would be weak. Without hesitation, Kassandra quickly drove the Spear of Leonidas into the girl's heart, killing her immediately. The celestial bronze armor was too weak to match up to the Isu metal of the spear. Removing the spear, she quickly dropped to a knee before twisting under a slash meant to bisect her. Acting on instinct, she grabbed the offender's arm before throwing them over her shoulder. Not giving the downed demigod the chance to get back up, the Sword of Damokles found its home in his chest.

Suddenly feeling something try to disrupt her senses, Kassandra realized that one of the demigods could manipulate the Mist. Using the echolocation of the Spear of Leonidas, she quickly deduced that only two of the remaining three demigods were moving towards her location. Grabbing the Staff of Hermes Trismegistus, Kassandra sent a blast of energy directly in the center of the trio, throwing them all to the ground. The leader was the first to stand up with an enraged expression on his face.

"You dare attack us like this? We are the soldiers of Kronos!" The demigod shouted. "As a son of Hecate, I will ensure you a terrible death." The son of Hecate ordered the other two demigods to buy him some time while he controlled the Mist.

"We attack you because you chose the wrong side in this war," Kassandra answered before moving forward. She easily parried the first sword strike before kicking the demigod in the chest. The boy flew into his comrade before being thrown to the ground. Kassandra blocked the slash from the second demigod before knocking him off his feet with her staff. The demigod soon found the Spear of Leonidas in his neck. Releasing her spear, Kassandra rolled forward under the stab of a sword before thrusting her hidden blade into the boy's gut; she then slit his throat.

As the body fell to the ground, Kassandra spotted the son of Hecate staring at her. His face held a look torn between unbridled rage and overwhelming fear. Realizing that he would be dying tonight, he charged her. Unlike the other demigods who wielded Celestial Bronze, he wielded Imperial Gold, which Greek demigods shouldn't know of. Noting this for later, she playfully dodged his first few strikes that he easily telegraphed for her. Deciding to show him that his effort was naught, Kassandra hooked the wings of the staff around the edge of the blade and swung up. As she predicted, the sword flew through the air and impacted the ground behind him. She then kicked him to the ground before planting the spear tip of the staff in his chest.

The demigod tried to spit in Kassandra's face but only succeeded in spitting on himself. "You will not win. Hack, cough, cough." The demigod started before coughing up blood. "Kronos will win, and I decree this as the son of Hecate, Alaba- uke," Was all he said before Kassandra let loose a blast of energy directly into his chest.

"Quiet child, weren't you ever told to respect your elders," Kassandra reprimanded him before strapping the Staff of Hermes Trismegistus to her back once more. She then retrieved the rest of her weapons before heading to her comrades.

At first glance, Galina was not the most imposing figure, but her continued silence was unnerving to the demigods. While they couldn't see her eyes, they could tell that she looked at them the same as a predator saw prey. Faster than any could think, Galina was already upon one of the demigods. All the remaining three saw was their comrade falling with Galina on top of him with one of her hidden blades in his neck. She stood up slowly, driving even more fear into the demigods. In their eyes, in front of them was no human, but a monster wearing human skin.

'Why did these children think they had a chance? I am feared even among the most skilled master assassins.' Galina thought before speaking with her heavy Russian accent. "You should just surrender. I will grant you easy and quick deaths. Don't continue fighting because of your pride." To be honest, Galina didn't want to fight the children when she could end their lives more easily. But it seemed that the demigods denied her offer as they shared a look before charging.

The demigods attacked Galina from three different angles as they all carried spears. Galina saw this and wondered why she was still being underestimated; did they not see how easily she killed their other comrade. Not caring anymore, the Russian assassin jumped into the air, avoiding the three spear thrust. During her descent, Galina kicked out with both of her legs. She hit two of the three demigods in their heads, making them snap sideways.(6) The resounding cracks were heard by her and the third demigod, confirming that Galina had broken both of their necks with her maneuver. Galina focusedCapitalizing on her enemy's shock and drove her hidden blade into his neck. She was already walking towards Kassandra before the body fell to the ground.

Kassandra gathered her fellow master assassins as she had received word from her apprentice Perseus. "I have received word from Perseus," she spoke. Now this drew everyone's interest immediately. Aside from when they all first arrived in Manhattan, Perseus had gone dark on all of them. It wasn't surprising, but a sudden message from him must be important. "He has notified me that it would be best if we left Manhattan and returned to the Altaïr II. According to him, the final confrontation will happen soon, and we can't help further without exposing ourselves. Lord Poseidon cannot cover for us here." Everyone agreed with her, they had done what they could, but they couldn't expose the Assassins Order to the rest of the Greek pantheon so soon. "Then let us leave." With everything said, the assassins left towards a dock to get a boat to the Altaïr II.

Flashback

-Long Island - Camp Half-Blood -

The camp was eerily quiet. After seeing what they did, both gods and demigods didn't know what to say. A large portion of the demigods looked a little green at all of the death and blood that the memories showed to them. The demigods, especially the children of Hecate, were looking towards Zoë and Andromeda with fear in their eyes. If the people they now believed to have trained and worked with the Perseus Jackson could so easily kill demigods in the Second Titan War, what could the girls do them? The gods, even the paranoid Zeus, were starting to see why the Assassins Order had remained hidden for so long and silently agreed that them carrying the treasures was possibly a good thing. No one noticed the greedy and spiteful look on the visage of Jason Grace. "Well, then. Shall we continue with the story?" The Goddess of the Moon asked with a small smirk on her face.

A/N: I'm alive! Yes, I know, after so long, I have returned. I hope the chapter is up to par for all of you. Hopefully, since my winter break is about five weeks, I can get a few chapters out for you folks. Now I know that a majority of this chapter was in italics. This is my second attempt at fight scenes, and I hope that I possibly improved. I know that I didn't give everyone a fight scene, but I was starting to lose track of the fights I wanted to write. This is why I wrote at least one fight for each group. It was shown as a flashback/memory to the campers. The next chapter will be almost completely about the past as I am showing some of what Percy was doing and how he got together with Reyna and Artemis. Because of this, the entire chapter will be in normal writing. As I have said in my first author's note, Percy is my Desmond Miles. This means that you might see me try to write a little about some stuff that happens in the games but with Percy instead of Desmond.

A/N: I would appreciate constructive criticism, but don't flame as there is a difference. I will also try my best to answer your questions that you leave in the comments. If I post a chapter and there are random mistakes in it, the reason is that I am uploading this on my phone. I will also write other stories as well aside from this one. You might think that my stories are similar to others; well, that is because I take inspiration from other stories. Another reason for this is that I hate it when I am reading a story and the author leaves it unfinished and doesn't even give a reason why they stopped. I will sometimes just take an unfinished story and try to continue it or add my own twist. I do this because I think that it is fun and I can get bored pretty easily. When I do this I will mention the story title and name of the author that I took inspiration/used material from. Remember, if you don't like it. Then why are you reading it?

(3) * https/assassinscreed./wiki/Mentor This is a wiki describing the Mentor. It is the title of the leader of the Assassins Order. It started as the title of the leaders of each Brotherhood branch. It later became the title of the overall leader of the Assassins Order as the number of members worldwide decreased. Some of this is also detailed in the link of the next note. *

(4) * The leader of the Assassins https/assassinscreed./wiki/Mentor_(2000) If you choose to read this wiki page, you will learn that I have altered some of the histories from the lore. In the lore, a Templar killed the Mentor in the year 2000. He is murdered by a Templar sleeper agent by the name of Daniel Cross. This was incredibly difficult for the Templars to do as the Mentor was thought to have not even existed by some of the Assassins. He was constantly on the move and never seen, so the Assassins viewed him as some kind of legend as he also did everything, such as lead the Order from the shadows of the shadows. As it goes, Daniel Cross was behaviorally conditioned to kill the Mentor when he met him. The Mentor didn't know this, so he trained Cross. When he gave Cross his hidden blade, Cross stabbed him immediately, thus killing him. Cross then informs the Templars about numerous Assassin camps/bases worldwide. The only reason the Assassin Order survived is that he didn't learn every location. For the sake of my story, I am making it to where Daniel Cross only severely injured him as the mentor had other Assassins with him. This also means that the Assassins worldwide were warned in time, and the event known as the Great Purge never happened. He has been leading the Assassins still before he can find his successor. *
