A/N: Special thanks for KobeNiku and Hakon2feb for helping me with this chapter

Chapter 10

Seeing the familiar jingle of rewards given for errands, Ozimyy decided to exit the application. Content with daily tasks she performed on the gacha game. Taking a glance at the bowl haircut kid leaving his girlfriend.

As the boy walked towards the vampire, she exited the application before tossing her phone back to her [Inventory].

"So, ready to talk to Kobe now, Mister Bowl Haircut?"

"Please don't call me that miss Ozimyy."

Tilting her head, a part of her missed when the kid was freaking out around her. Maybe she should have kept the [Seeming] illusion up and not actually telling him that it was just some sort of elaborate prank. She could be too honest sometimes…

Letting out a deep sigh, Ozimyy exited the [Gate]. Keeping the portal open for the kid to enter through. She might even been able to sneak in a few minutes catching up with some youtube channels at this ra-

A thundering echo rang to her ears, snapping to the source of the location. A man with long golden hair and a trench coat stood in front of her, his brow's furling in restrained fury.

"Ozimyy, mind telling me what the hell you are doing?!"

"What do you mean Inqu- erm I mean Reinhard?"

"You know exactly what I mean, Ozimyy. Why are you doing ROB's bidding?!"

The vampire paused momentarily, resisting the urge to look away from the inquisitor. The inquisitor in turn folded his arms awaiting her answer.

"I mean, sorry… It's just that Kitsu demanded benefits from ROB of all things when we were at New Camelot. For being less boring…"

"New Camelot?" The inquisitor raised a brow.

"The place was formerly known as Carne until Inkrael decided to settle there." Inquisitor relaxed a bit, it does seem like something Inkrael would do.

"Anyways, it threatened to punish Kitsu for asking it for benefits, obviously. I had to jump in and convince it to let her go if I were to give her a hard time and change canon a bit…"

Reinhard paused for a moment, baffled over the idea that someone in the server legitimately thought they could get ROB to do something beneficial for them.

"It's only a one time gig anyways and nobody would have been seriously hurt, the Swords of Darkness also would have gotten out of this fine. That and I don't think we are ready to deal with ROB right now, who knows what it'll do to escalate the situation."

Reinhard, unfolded his arms. The idea of ROB escalating the situation was a worrying one. "Fair enough. I just wished you told me that sooner."

"I did call Momon through [Message] though. I'll just make sure to call you too next time." The inquisitor sighed. His head nodded towards the vampire before he reached to massage his forehead.

"I suppose I'll have to give Kitsu a stern talking to then."

"Preferably after I play the prank on Kitsu if that's fine with you."

Reinhard's eyes quickly jumped towards Ozimyy before looking back towards the ground beneath her. It seemed like a reasonable response for someone who wasn't as strong as he was.

"Fine, but you are to see me after your game. And bring Kitsu with you, will you?"

Seeing the inquisitor warping out of reality, the vampire glanced back towards the Bowl Haircut kid wondering if he should enter her [Gate] through the gate or not.

"Come on Nfirea, Kobe isn't going to wait for you forever." Seeing the kid gasp, Ozimyy turned back around.

"That is concerning…"

Lizzie Bareare frowned after hearing the news from the armoured warrior. A sense of worry began to flood her mind, if it wasn't for her ageing body she would have dashed towards her residence by now.

"Indeed, I believe it is in our best interest to get to your residence as soon as possible."

She heard the armoured warrior comment, it seemed that the warrior had the same idea as she did.

"I agree, the sooner we get there the sooner we can start looking for clues for where the kidnapper had left."

Lizzie paused for a moment, trying to recall the situation. Besides the two here there were another four who were still with Nfirea weren't there? If the kidnapper had managed to kidnap him despite those adventurers being there this wasn't just some ordinary kidnapper. Especially if the kidnapper was bold enough to do so in front of countless witnesses.

A dumb person would have been caught by now, it the kidnapper wasn't it could only mean they were able to overwhelm them in some way…

"I feel that we head to the guild first however. This doesn't seem like something your group can handle alone."

The armoured warrior only shook his head in response. "If you wish, however, if the kidnapper is who I think this is. I fear we'd only be throwing their lives away in a futile attempt to subjugate her."

"How do you know this is the threat you were thinking of?"

"I wasn't entirely sure until a party member of mine mentioned the perpetrator leaving a slip of paper with a crude drawing on it. I've only encountered one individual who does that."

The warrior glanced towards the old woman, for a moment Lizzie could have sworn she saw the vizor he wore glowing red momentarily. "Luckily, I believe I am able to deal with the problem. For a price."

Lizzie felt the air freeze momentarily as she looked back towards the armoured warrior. "Alright, what's the cost?"

"Everything"

A chill briefly breezed through her spine. However, seeing as her grandson may be in serious danger…

"I'll have to give this some thought Momon-sama"

Momon nodded before leaving the building with Nabe and Lizzie following shortly afterwards. Heading towards her residence, the old woman noticed the aroma of burnt charcoal coming from the residence. A pit on her stomach made itself known as she continued to stare towards the building.

Lizzie felt her body shake, the feeling in her gut growing more noticeable by the second. Noticing the two adventurers advancing ahead of her, she realised that she had stopped moving. Staring at the damaged interior through the glass panes.

"About that deal Momon. I'll pay for it. It's said that demons would grant you a wish in exchange for your soul. You don't seem to be quite like them."

A faint hum of acknowledgement was the only thing that escaped his visor as he headed towards the residence..

Entering the building, Momon observed the Swords of Darkness baring their eyes towards him.

"Momon-sama, I think you need to see this."

Grabbing hold of the slip of paper from the leader, Momon scanned over the message left behind by a certain vampire. A part of him paused, a crude drawing of the vampire presented itself standing on top of them along with what he can only assume was a provocative message.

"In English no less…"

"English Momon-san?"

Glancing towards the magic caster, Momon nodded. Not willing to make his backstory too complicated, some of his friends mentioned to him how overly complex his made up backstory had become on another timeline and he wishes to avoid that.

"The native language of the vampire who I was trying to find, the one who I presumed wrote this."

"You mean the same vampire you mentioned you were trying to hunt down back at Carne? Or is it New Camelot now?"

"Indeed, she's a tricky one to deal with. Especially if you are trying to fight her, it'll be a miracle if you could even land a hit."

Ninya glanced towards the charred marks on the floorboards momentarily, indeed she attempted to shoot at the vampire once she saw Peter being thrown back by her monstrous strength. That combined with the absurd agility could mean problems.

"But you know where she was?"

"Yes, she might give out a… Very immature outward appearance as you all may know but she isn't one who likes to wait for anyone who might not even show up. Telling a false location would be counterproductive."

Ninya nodded before glancing towards Kitsu. She was uncertain of the girl's reliability seeing as she ran as soon as the vampire mentioned 'Yog-Sothoth' whatever that meant. Though seeing her strength, it might have been because she was able to sense something Ninya didn't?

"You said Castella was at the graveyard right?"

"Huh, oh yes she'd be there…"

Though she couldn't deny that Kitsu was better than any other adventurer she knew. A part of her felt bringing along Kitsu was a mistake.

Feeling a part of her missing something Tenshi sighed. What's worse is that she knew exactly what she had missed too, but unfortunately she just couldn't find the ingredients to make it. She contemplated just returning to the half-elf and getting the training over with only to find a vampire with a phone on her hand glancing towards a [Mirror of Remote Viewing] as she turned a corner.

Hearing footsteps from the Wicked Hermit, Ozimyy glanced towards Seiga Nyan Nya- ahem Prince Tenshi.

"Oh, hi Tenshi. You look like you are searching for something. What's up?"

Closing her eyes, she supposes it wouldn't hurt to ask the vampire. But it's not like she would have known where she could find some either right?

"You wouldn't happen to know where I can find a corpse do you Ozimyy?"

"Now that I think about it, I did kill that necromancer in Nfirea's place just recently. The guy with Clem for most of the series, left him there a few minutes ago. You could grab him before the authorities arrive if you want."

Snapping open her eyes, Tenshi tilted her head towards the vampire. At the very least she felt she was in the right direction asking her. However…

"I was more looking for someone who isn't a crusty old man."

Seeing the vampire perk up, she observed the girl throwing the phone in her hand to her [Inventory] before bringing a fist to the palm of her hand.

"Oooohh I see, well I am heading towards a graveyard to fight Kitsu and the Swords of Darkness. Just to mess with them though, wanna come with?"

Tenshi paused, she did suppose looking for corpses in places outside of Nazarick is something she hasn't tried yet. Besides, the trip wouldn't take that long anyways. Zesshi could wait a few more minutes, no?

"I suppose I'd have to oblige."

"Neat, well the Swords of Darkness should be arriving within a few minutes. If you just want a corpse you'd have to act quickly otherwise you're going to have to play along."

"Very well, I plan on finding the perfect body while I'm there so please don't desecrate the corpses."

"I'll keep that in mind. Welp, you ready to go?"

The full moon shone brightly above the Eientei. What had been a peaceful night had quickly turned into a serious incident within an hour, probably related to the odd cracks in the fabric of reality in Gensokyo that appeared a week ago. Meeting up with a weary Reimu rushing towards the incident site, she decided to accompany her…

And by that she meant she decided to trail Reimu towards the Eastern mansion.

Arriving to meet a distressed Kaguya, the two entered the mansion to investigate the area. Sliding open the door, Yukari glanced over the study.

"So this is where you last saw Erien?"

The princess nodded before looking back towards the empty room. For a moment, Yukari noticed her clenching her hand momentarily, releasing it before anyone else could take notice. Before the Gap Yokai could say anything the Red and White shrine maiden walked past the two.

Entering the room, Reimu approached the empty chair. Inspecting the piece of furniture before she glanced towards the ceiling momentarily.

"Ho? It seems like Reimu is on to something."

Hearing the Gap Yokai's musings, Reimu rolled her eyes before lowering her head to ponder.

Approaching the room, Reisen glanced towards the ceiling Reimu had briefly glanced at before looking back towards the shrine maiden.

"What did you find Reimu?"

Raising her head towards the purple haired Rabbit girl, the shrine maiden tilted her head.

"I feel like those cracks had something to do with Eirin going missing."

Yukari nodded, looking back towards the princess she noticed her eyes shimmering momentarily. Once again ceasing before anyone else could notice.

"I suppose we'd have to find one of these cracks now?"

Yukari nodded at the princesses' conclusion, the only question now was how to find them before they disappeared. Before she could ponder up ideas to analyse, knocking echoing towards the Eientei's front doors.

"You can come in."

Though she had said it on the princesses' behalf, she figured Kaguya wouldn't be bothered by it, anything to help find her servant, no? Entering the room, a silver haired maid escorted a pink dressed vampire towards the chair.

The vampire girl sighed, glancing towards the ceiling before lowering her head.

"The crack that took Eirin must be related to the one that took Flandre then?"

Seeing everyone glancing towards the Gap Yokai's musing, she supposes she nailed down what everyone had been thinking about. However that still doesn't solve what to do from now, with Remillia involved she could identify where the cracks would be but should it appear in a large location it would have disappeared before it could be traced.

"Sakuya! Another one, up north!"

"Another one you say? I don't suppose we can come with you?"

Staring towards the Gap Yokai momentarily, Remillia sighed. "Fine, but make it quick. We don't have much time to lose."

"Certainly."

Observing the surface below, ROB contemplated the current situation. Thus far, despite the fact that the being isekai'd over 40 individuals from an alternate universe to the world there were only minor changes to the timeline so far.

Though it appreciates the rainbow winged vampire playing along with its path the being is pushing it knows it's only a temporary agreement to save an allies skin. As for the others, there were a few who planned on doing their own thing which might be fun in the future but it'd have to wait and see.

Unfortunately, most of them have seemingly grown wary of the being. Fine of its own but pretty boring in the grand scheme of things. It wanted to see differences, not yet another Momonga and Me plotline where nothing significant changes.

The being pondered for a moment before glancing towards the vampire once more. Maybe…
