A/N: Welp, when was the last time I gave an A/N that didn't just say thanks to KobeNiku? Anyways this arc is nearing its end I can feel it. Really I wanted to rush over this arc so I can get to the major derailing part of the story. Rushing was never really good for a story though. Special thanks to Hakon2feb for helping me with this chapter. Hope you guys enjoy it.
Edit: Added a description at the end of dnd spells since I realised not everyone is familiar with what dnd spells do... Also added a description of Seeming since I fotgot to do that last chapter. Thanks to UndeadLord22 for pointing that out to me.
Chapter 11
Glancing towards the opening [Gate], Ozimyy found herself looking at a few robed men looking back at her. Or rather the [Gate] in front of her judging on the uncertain looks on their faces. Sighing, cold air breezed upon her skin as she exited the portal.
Seeing the vampire exit the portal, the robed men stumbled backwards. Drawing their weapons in retaliation, only to feel a scorching heat on their abdomen.
"You know, I'd play with you all but I have an appointment to keep. Not planning on being caught late messing around…"
Watching the bodies collapsing, Lævateinn, the oversized crimson blade she was holding, dematerialized from Ozimyy's hands. Sighing, the vampire waited for the Wicked Hermit.
Exiting the [Gate], Tenshi glanced around her surroundings looking around for a potential corpse to resurrect. "Alright, Momon and his friends should be arriving soon. Lemme cast [Seeming] on you."
Tenshi deadpanned towards the vampire in response, looking back towards the girl. "You're not the only one who knows Yggdrasil magic right?"
Ozimyy tilted her head in response before shrugging. "Fair enough, just thought I'd help."
"Nevermind that, are you going to disguise yourself or not?"
Shaking her head, Ozimyy realised wasn't disguised at all. "Oh, right… [Seeming][3]!"

Approaching the churchyard, Momonga observed the vampire twirling around an oversized crimson blade. Walking closer, the vampire looked up towards the armoured overlord before smiling. "You have done well to get here, Momon and friends!"
Grabbing hold of his blades, the armoured Overlord pointed them towards the lilac vampire. "Castella Red!"
"Ho? Preparing to fight me already Momon? Instead of running away you ar-"
"You will pay for what you have done in Yeanyth!"
Behind his armour, Momon would have winced at the name he shouted if he could. Staring behind the girl, he noticed the same girl holding her phone at them. [Emotional Suppression] kicked in before he refocused his attention on the vampire girl, he wouldn't have noticed if she didn't tell him what she was going to do beforehand.
Ignorant of her phone holding self behind her, she grimaced on the lost opportunity before shrugging. "Cut me off from my reference, why don't you."
Sighing, she looked back towards the party. Just standing there. Menacingly. "Well, are you going to start fighting or are we just going to stare at each other for the entire night?"
Hearing the provocation, Kitsu shot an arrow towards the vampire. Readying another few from her quiver to keep the vampire from approaching the party. The girl tilted her body away from the projectile, not interested in approaching them. Good, now she coul-
A sharp pain slammed into Ninya's back as she found herself flying away from the group, crashing on the various gravestones to slow her fall. Turning around, Ninya noticed the raised leg of the vampire being right behind where Kitsu was, and in turn them. All without the party noticing.
"Oh don't mind me, I thought I'd bring someone along."
Glancing towards the source of the voice, she saw the vampire girl still standing there. Then back to the same vampire lowering her leg behind them.
"A one on seven matchup is hardly a fair match up you know?"
Seeing the vampire jump towards the cat girl, Ninya swung her arm at the vampire in an attempt to retaliate, she felt something shove her to the ground. A red projectile flew past where she had been shortly after.
"You know, I always wondered why people don't prioritise magic users first more often. They're usually the most bothersome to deal with."
Momon leapt towards the vampire, only to halt as he noticed the silhouette of another mirror image of the vampire swinging her blade towards the edge of his vision.
The Armoured Overlord skidded on the ground, feeling the force of her strike on his blades.
"Sorry, you're fighting me!"
Sensing an opportunity, Nabe swung her blade towards the vampire. Only for the vampire to notice and tilt her body away from the blade. A finger snap echoed into Momon's non-existent eardrums before an image of himself along with the vampire and Nabe projected themselves to pretend that a fight was going on.
Noticing how she had successfully split up the party to her desired groups. Ozimyy sighed before dismissing her large crooked clock handle.
Seeing the image of himself leaving to clash against the image of the vampire, Momonga presumed she had silently casted [Project image] [1] after snapping her finger. The so called damage to the environment probably meant [Mirage Arcane] [2] was stacked ontop was probably casted to make the fight look more legitimate whilst the three can converse whilst in [Perfect Unknowable].
"I did not expect things to go this well but it's a welcome outcome I guess…"
Ozimyy sighed before shrugging.
Noticing the change of atmosphere, Naberal paused. Taking a quick glance towards Momonga withdrawing his blades she blinked. "Pardon me for asking Lady Ozimyy. But were you not planning on stopping us from retrieving Nfirea just now?"
The vampire paused, holding back the temptation to snark. Not to Nabe, she doesn't deserve it. "Oh, no. That was part of the act. Sorry I kept this a secret from you Narberal, we deemed it necessary to have you believe I legitimately wanted to keep you from completing the mission back when you were at Carne… Now known as New Camelot…"
"No Lady Ozimyy, it was I who did not catch on to your plans until now."
Seeing the disguised maid kneeling in front of her, Ozimyy rested her hands on her shoulders before tilting her head. Uttering a syllable before deciding against telling her anything. Knowing her, saying anything would probably just make things worse.
"And to think I brought in Tenshi for nothing…"
Reaching to scratch her head, the vampire felt something pressing upon her left shoulder. Turning around, she saw the now lime haired wicked hermit. "Ozimyy, just because I'm not needed doesn't mean I don't want to be here."
Standing back up, Naberal took a glance towards Tenshi before looking back at the vampire. "Pardon me for asking Lady Ozimyy, why did you feel it necessary to bring Lady Tenshi?"
"Oh that? She was here in case something goes wrong. Just in case."
"I see."
~meanwhile~
"Now then, with Momon and the Swords of Darkness gone. I guess we can fight mono a mono?"
"Ohwooh, you wanna play with Onee-san?"
Ozimyy deadpanned. Sighing, she facepalmed before reaching towards her inventory.
Revealing a manga whose cover was that of a fox girl. Kitsu's eyes sparkled seeing the books, only for them all to suddenly get lit ablaze.
"Nooo, don't burn those! At least let me read them first Ozimyy!"
Still unconvinced, she grabbed another stack to set on fire, tilting her head to avoid an arrow heading towards her.
Seeing her opportunity, the cat girl lunged towards the vampire. Or so she thought, shifting her body around the attack, she eyed the cat girl grabbing hold of a book. Instinctively she jumped back, momentarily observing it glowing white.
"[Greater Teleportation]!"
Reappearing in the graveyard, the vampire's deadpan gaze met the ash covered cat girl.
"You didn't think I'd just bring out these books to burn right in front of you if you could just grab them like that did you?"
"Uwwhh, why are you so mean today Ozimyy?"
Tilting her head, she pinched the bridge of her nose. Letting out an "Oh my god…" Ozimyy exhaled before looking back at Kitsu.
"You know, I was going to do this thing where I parade these things in front of you initially. Maybe disable the failsafe and make a game where you can get these back if you're quick about it or something. But then I realised I would have to deal with your furriness… [Spell card: Taboo - Cranberry Trap]!"
Seeing the flurry of projectiles headed towards her, Kitsu began to weave around the extensive patterns of projectiles. Ducking, she prepared to leap forwards before noticing the silver glint of an oversized crooked hand clock being swung towards her.
Unable to avoid the weapon and the projectiles simultaneously, Kitsu could only brace herself for impact. A sharp pain pulsed through her arm before Kitsu found her body flying towards the nearest gravestone.
Picking herself up, Kitsu pouted before glancing towards Ozimyy.
"Weren't you meant to be shooting me?"
"Why would I do that? You'd just dodge it all if I just tried to shoot you."
Feeling the pout intensify around her mouth, Kitsu inhaled, feeling a tinge of frustration. "Why are you so mean!"
"Why were you acting like such a furry?!" The vampire responded, yelling whilst doing it.
"Is that why you're acting this way?! You could have just told me to stop."
"Maybe it's because I was too busy dealing with ROB, whatever that being is."
"Aren't you taking this too seriously Ozimyy?" Kitsu shrugged, not understanding where Ozimyy was getting at. She was a crack fic writer wasn't she? She'd be the last person kitsu expected to lash out at her for not taking things seriously.
"This is quite literally a life or death situation Kitsu. ROB isn't exactly cooperative with us. Don't you have common sense?"
Ozimyy's dead eyes bored themselves towards the cat girl once more. Kitsu winced.
"Ok, I see your point… But can't we just talk this out?"
"I was confronted by Reinhard for covering for a mistake you made. Can't help but feel a bit irritated if you didn't even acknowledge your own mistake. I only have so much patience, you know."
Suddenly things clicked for the cat girl. How could she be so foolish?
"... You just wanted to get back at me for getting you into trouble. Didn't you?"
"I would be lying if I said no. [Spell Card: Taboo - Kagome, Kagome]"
Observing the vampire attempting to blast the cat girl, Ozimyy from on top the chapel couldn't help but chuckle. It's not like one could have a comedic routine without a straight man after all. Flinching, she slowly readjusted her phone. Noticing the two beginning to escape her camera's view.
~line break~
Ninya clicked her tongue seeing another barrage of [Magic Arrow] fly past the vampire without any signs of damage.
"Oh come on Ninya, that wasn't even close. Are you even trying anymore?"
Ninya winced, besides the whole 'how did the vampire even know who she is?' she began to feel irritated at the vampire. Another twang of the bow rang as an arrow flew towards the vampire, who in a surprising turn of events decided she was done trying to avoid their projectiles.
Ninya's heart fluttered, only to see the projectile fly past her as though nothing happened.
Lukrut gritted his teeth, how did the vampire avoid that? She didn't even move! Desperation flooded his mind as the ranger reached for multiple arrows simultaneously in a bid to land a hit. The vampire merely nudged slightly, letting the arrows pass before looking at them with a smug look at her face.
"Oh come on Lukrut, I didn't even have to move that time."
"Damn it, get down here yo-"
Feeling a sudden spike of pain on his gut, he noticed the vampire no longer floating above him. Looking down, the ranger observed his body flying away from Castella. Before being able to feel the pain digging into his gut further, his senses suddenly went blank.
"LUKRUT!"
Twisting her body towards the tree that had caught Lukrut, she failed to notice the vampire until she appeared right in front of her. Castella's face grinned as she held her hand towards Ninya's face. Her thumb held a middle finger back as it pointed towards the caster's forehead.
Ninya suddenly felt a sharp pain on her forehead before everything went black.
"NINYA NO!"
Shifting her body away from Dyne's mace, the vampire suddenly vanished from the druid's vision. Dyne's feet suddenly found themselves unable to grip the ground, noticing the ground coming closer he attempted to save himself from hitting the dirt, instinctively his arms sprang towards the surface. Or rather, they attempted to.
Looking towards her arms, he noticed the vampire grasping hold of his arms whilst standing on his back. Unable to retort he braced for impact, a sharp pain struck the back of his neck shortly after.
Slowly standing up, Castella glanced towards the remaining member of the Swords of Darkness before once more floating in the air.
"Catch me if you can Swords of Losers."
Peter grasped hold of his blade, gritting his teeth he attempted to hold back the desire to flee. "Wha… What are you."
Castella raised a brow, looking at him momentarily before grinning. "Ho? Is that fear I smell?"
His mind began to scramble for ways to take down the vampire. They can't touch her yet she was clearly able to touch them. Glancing towards Lukrut's bow, Peter exhaled. Snapped in two. Peter suppressed the urge to wince, he couldn't beat someone who would just fly away and shoot him! Should he run?
Shaking his head, Peter planted his foot on the ground.
"No… I… I must avenge them!"
Noticing the leader's defiance, Castella… Nodded in understanding? She relaxed before displaying a warmer smile towards the leader. Peter paused in confusion.
"You know, I would say I'm surprised at your defiance but I'd be lying."
Seeing her smile turning back to the all too dreaded feral grin, the leader clenched his blade. Withdrawing the weapon in preparation to strike.
"Also your friends aren't dead, did you think I'd be satisfied with only one outing against me? I prefer my toys for next time you know?"
With the sudden revelation flooding his mind, his body subconsciously relaxed. Not noticing the vampire disappearing until she appeared in front of him with her middle finger held back by her thumb.
"Nighty night, Peter. Don't let the bed bugs bite~"
Unable to swing his blade on time, Peter's vision suddenly went black.

"Damn, that was fast."
Momonga would have raised a brow towards the vampire had he not been an Overlord. Noticing the Overlord shifting his head, the vampire shrugged.
"Looks like the Swords of Darkness were wiped out."
Nodding, He supposed that was the case. Tilting his head towards the fallen members, Momonga would have winced at the aftermath of the vampire's fight against them.
"You didn't kill them did you?"
Ozimyy's head tilted before realising Momonga wasn't able to tell if blood was still circulating in someone's body or not.
"Nah, their hearts are still pumping. At most they'd be comatosed. Probably for a few days give or take."
"Good, I'd hate to lose my source of information so early on."
Ozimyy smiled, before looking towards her double's fight against Kitsu. Pausing momentarily, she glanced towards the ground.
"Oh yeah Ai- Momonga, you mind if I have one of my doubles hang around with them for a bit? Not as Castella of course."
"You're more than welcome to, anything is better than Kitsu at this point."
Glancing around the disguised maid and Overlord, she couldn't help but notice Tenshi missing.

Taking a glance towards the moon, Hakon wondered if they would ever meet the blue bandit. A quick look towards the environment already raised doubts. Shell craters plasted around what used to be a forest. Had she still been on Earth she would have thought she'd somehow been warped back to World War One.
"Are you sure if Brain is still alive?"
"After this mess? Probably not, though he should have a lot of loot left over shouldn't he? Also I'm pretty sure the Slane Theocracy should be arriving soon, with some world class items we can take too."
Hakon nodded, though not as much of a force of nature as it was canonically thanks to a certain being. The pair were still unaware how WCI's would affect the different magic systems everyone found themselves having. Grasping the WCI on her hand, Hakon knew better than to take that chance.
Feeling the cold air breezing upon her hair, she couldn't help but wince. Hours spent combing her hair going undone in seconds. Looking around, she wondered why their [Gate] threw the pair so far away from their target location.
As she began to zone out, looking around for things to do, her ears suddenly twitched. An outworldly scream rang across the ruined forest.
"Boss, you hear that?"
"Yeah, looks like we have company…"

[1] Project Image: An illusionary spell from D&D 5th edition. Creates an illusory copy of yourself that lasts for the duration. Had some creative liberties adding a mechanic that allows the caster to also copy others since I couldn't find an equivalent.
[2] Mirage Arcane: Also an illusionary spell from D&D 5th edition. Makes terrain in an area up to 1 mile square look, sound, smell, and even feel like some other sort of terrain. The terrain's general shape remains the same, however.
[3] Seeming: An illusionary spell from D&D 5th edition. This spell allows you to change the appearance of any number of creatures that you can see within range
