I BECOME SUPREME LORD OF THE BATHROOM read Paul.
Everyone laughed at the title.
"Are all titles gonna be like this?" said Apollo between laughs.
"Knowing Percy...yes." said Thalia recovering from laughing.
Clarisse groaned she recognized this. Annabeth looked at her and smiled widely.
Once I got over the fact that my...not trust Chiron's back end the way I trusted his front.
Everyone laughed.
"Well at least he didn't voice his opinion." said Chiron.
Everyone who said that looked really sheepish.
We passed the volleyball pit. Several of the campers nudged each other. One pointed to the minotaur horn I was carrying. Another said, "That's him." Most of the campers were older than me.
"How did he not get an ego." Grover mumbled.
Annabeth shrugged.
Their satyr friends were bigger than Grover...made me uncomfortable.
"Guess that is why." said Grover.
I felt like they were expecting me to do a flip or something.
"Can he do a flip, I've never seen him try." said Connor.
"He summersaulted over the 1st cohorts defensive line, so I would assume so." said Frank.
Everyone's jaw dropped again.
I looked back at the farmhouse...caught my eye, a shadow in the uppermost window of the attic gable.
Thalia raised her eyebrows, along with everyone who had seen the Oracle move.
Something had moved the curtain, just for a second, and I got the distinct impression I was being
watched.
"He saw it move that early?" said Thalia.
"My Oracle can move?" asked a shocked Apollo.
"Yeah, it can move." said Thalia with a shiver. As did everyone else who had seen it move.
"What's up there?" I asked Chiron...something had moved that curtain.
Thalia nodded.
"Come along, Percy,"..."Grover won't get in too much trouble, will he?" I asked Chiron. "I mean ... he was a good protector. Really."
Everyone nodded in agreement.
Chiron sighed. He shed his tweed jacket and draped it over his horses back like a saddle. "Grover has big dreams, Percy. Perhaps bigger than are reasonable.
Young Grover frowned, while older Grover grinned.
To reach his goal, he must first demonstrate great courage by succeeding as a keeper, finding a new camper and bringing him safely to Half-Blood Hill."
"But he did that" said Annabeth.
Paul chuckled.
"But he did that!"
Everyone laughed. Annabeth blushed and smiled then nodded in agreement.
"I might agree with you," Chiron said...unconscious when you dragged him over the property line...he might not have gotten in trouble.
"He is always blaming himself." said Grover. Everyone nodded in agreement.
"He'll get a second chance, won't he?"
Zeus was glaring at Grover. Thalia glared at her father, who reluctantly stopped glaring. He felt a little hurt she went against him, but he didn't show it.
Chiron winced..."Oh, twenty-eight."
Everyone looked at Grover. "What?" he asked.
"You went to school at 28. Sixth Grade to be exact!" exclaimed Travis waving his arms.
"Yeah it sucked, but at least I don't have to go back to school ever again." said Grover smiling.
"What! And he's in sixth grade?""Satyrs mature half as fast as humans, Percy. Grover has been the equivalent of a middle school student for the past six years.""That's horrible.""Quite," Chiron agreed.
"Well Percy and Chiron agree." said Connor.
"At any rate, Grover is a late bloomer..."That's not fair," I said. "What happened the first time? Was it really so bad?"
Zeus started. "Yes, and we should punish-"
"Father, you will do nothing to Grover. It was my decision to stay back." said Thalia.
Zeus huffed.
Luke was wondering why Thalia wanted to defend Olympus. She clearly doesn't like her father, like him. He would try and convince her to join him in overthrowing the gods. Sure she came from a time they won, but maybe she wasn't talking about the titans.
Maybe there was something that happened earlier. Whatever the case he need to try harder, and work on recruiting more demigods. But that was the easy part.
Chiron looked away quickly. "Let's move along, shall we?" But I wasn't quite ready to let the subject drop. Something had occurred to me when Chiron talked about my mother's fate, as if he were intentionally avoiding the word death. The beginnings of an idea—a tiny, hopeful fire—started forming in my mind.
Poseidon groaned. "Please tell me he didn't go to the underworld." he got no answer. But that silence said enough. He just groaned again.
Hades appeared thoughtful, maybe this kid gets his helm back. It's clear he didn't steal it because he is just now learning of the gods.
"Chiron," I said. "If the gods and Olympus and all that are real …" "Yes, child?" "Does that mean the Underworld is real, too?"
Everyone who didn't know he went to the underworld thought he was crazy.
Chiron's expression darkened. "Yes, child." He paused, as if choosing his words carefully. "There is a place where spirits go after death..."Come, Percy. Let's see the woods."
Hermes shook his head in disappointment.
As we got closer, I realized how huge the forest was..."Armed with what?"..."You'll see. Capture the flag is Friday night. Do you have your own sword and shield?"
"Chiron. You taught his class at Yancy, you know he doesn't have a weapon. So why did you asked." said Annabeth looking pointedly at Chiron.
"I am afraid I don't know seeing as this is the future." said Chiron.
"My own—?""No," Chiron said..."What do you do when it rains?" I asked.
"Don't even ask he never answers that question." said everyone.
Chiron looked pretty sheepish, he forgets they are new to everything which includes the no rain.
Chiron looked at me as if I'd gone a little weird. "We still have to eat, don't we?" I decided to
drop the subject.
"Smart." muttered everyone.
Finally, he showed me the cabins...bizarre collection of buildings I'd ever seen.
"Well, they aren't your traditional American home, or Apartment." said Athena.
Except for the fact that each had a large brass number above the door (odds on the left side,
evens on the right), they looked absolutely nothing alike. Number nine had smokestacks, like a
tiny factory.
Hephaestus and his kids smiled at the description of there cabin.
Number four had tomato vines on the walls and a roof made out of real grass.
Demeter and her kids smiled at there cabin.
Seven seemed to be made of solid gold, which gleamed so much in the sunlight it was almost impossible to look at.
Apollo and his kids smiled at there cabin.
They all faced a commons area about the size of a soccer field, dotted with Greek statues, fountains, flower beds, and a couple of basketball hoops (which were more my speed).
"He plays basketball?" asked young Travis to his older self.
"Don't remind me, he is the best player at camp. Even better than the Apollo campers." said Travis as he groaned.
"Really?" asked Micheal Yew.
"Yeah, while not the best 3 point shooter. His skill with the ball is unlike anyone else." said Travis. "It's fun to play with him. We had playe against him which he won, and his only teammate was Will. It doesn't take a genius to know that will is awful at basketball."
"Hey! I am not that bad." said both Will's. Everyone just looked at him saying 'uh-huh'. "Ok, fine I am bad, but not the worst."
All the campers who didn't know Percy were surprised, while Jason was even more Jealous. He could manipulate the air and he wasn't even as good as the Apollo campers.
In the center of the field...poking the coals with a stick.
"He saw me." Hestia smiled. "Not many people see me when they first show up to camp."
Everyone looked sheepish. Except for Nico who had a small smile. Hestia was his favorite goddess, as she was everyone's.
The pair of cabins at the head of the field, numbers one and two, looked like his-and-hers mausoleums, big white marble boxes with heavy columns in front.
Zeus and Hera smiled at the description of there cabins.
Cabin one was the biggest and bulkiest of the twelve. Its polished bronze doors shimmered like a hologram, so that from different angles lightning bolts seemed to streak across them.
"Do you like your cabin Thalia and Jason?" Zeus asked.
"Not really." said Thalia. "The statue inside is creepy, and there is also no bathroom." Jason nodded in agreement.
Poseidon snickered. "Told you the statue was creepy." Zeus glared at his older brother, who just shrugged it off.
Hades was sulking that he didn't have a cabin yet. But he was hopeful with the curse being gone, perhaps his son has a cabin.
Cabin two was more graceful somehow, with slimmer columns garlanded with pomegranates and flowers. The walls were carved with images of peacocks.
Hera smiled.
"Zeus and Hera?" I guessed. "Correct," Chiron said. "Their cabins look empty."
"They should be empty." Hera said glaring at her husband. Zeus looked at his shoes as if they were the most interesting thing in the room.
"Several of the cabins are. That's true. No one ever stays in one or two."...I stopped in front of the first cabin on the left, cabin three.
Poseidon smiled.
It wasn't high and mighty like cabin one, but long and low and solid. The outer walls were of
rough gray stone studded with pieces of seashell and coral, as if the slabs had been hewn straight
from the bottom of the ocean floor.
Poseidon's smile got wider.
"That sounds so cool." said Travis.
"Yeah. No wonder Annabeth sleeps there." said Thalia.
Annabeth blushed madly.
"Why do you sleep in that cabin Annabeth?" asked Athena, Chiron was looking at Annabeth suspiciously.
"When Percy went missing, sleeping in his cabin made me feel happier. It reminded me of him, so I...would sleep in his bed." said Annabeth who was still blushing, but also sad that Percy wasn't here yet.
"You slept in there before he went missing too." Thalia said while dodging a punch from a blushing Annabeth.
"OOOH! What happened?" asked Aphrodite. "Did you two-"
"READ! NOW!" said a very red Annabeth, and the young one wasn't looking much better.
Paul was about to start but was cut off by Athena.
"Daughter. I don't have a problem with your relationship with this Percy he seems to bring you happiness. But I do not want to be a grandmother before you two are married." said Athena.
Annabeth's blush got a deeper red. Poseidon's jaw dropped at what Athena had said and she saw this.
"What? Do you not approve?" she asked with a small smile.
"I do approve. But you approving of it? I am shocked." said Poseidon.
"Well, while it's true most of your children have been heartbreakers. From what we have heard about Percy from the futures has been enough for me to say he wouldn't hurt my daughter." said Athena.
When she said this Theseus felt guilty. He had dumped Ariadne after she helped him navigate the labyrinth.
Upon hearing this both Annabeth's smiled. Then Athena added. "Except the 12 year old Percy, he will have to prove himself worthy of my daughter. So I will not go easy on him because of stuff he has yet to do."
Young Annabeth frowned. "But, what I won't tell him is that I do approve seeing as they are meant to be together. Until the time is right to tell him." said Athena. Young Annabeth smiled at that.
I peeked inside the open doorway and Chiron said, "Oh, I wouldn't do that!"
"I wouldn't harm anyone for being curious." said Poseidon.
Before he could pull me back...Number five was bright red...its eyes seemed to follow me.
Ares and his kids grinned at there cabins description.
Inside I could see...She reminded me of Nancy Bobofit...brown instead of red.
"HEY!" said both Clarrise's. "Do not compare me to her."
"He doesn't anymore, you look completely different now that you are older." said Annabeth.
Clarrise seemed to accept this answer. While the younger one was still a little miff at the description.
I kept walking, trying to stay clear of Chiron's hooves...or at major sporting events. But you won't see any here."
"PARTY PONIES" cheered everyone that had met them.
"Chiron can you invite them to camp again?" asked young Travis and young Conner.
"NO. That is not a good idea." said Chiron grimacing as he remembered what happened last time. He did not need to wear another tutu ever again.
"You said your name was Chiron. Are you really …"He smiled down at me. "The Chiron from the stories? Trainer of Hercules and all that?
Hercules had smug look. But it was quickly gone as everyone that knew his story rolled their eyes.
Yes, Percy, I am."...assume I'm still needed."
"You will always be needed Chiron." voiced everyone in the room. Chiron smiled sadly remembering he has to watch all the hero's he trains die so young. But he was glad to be needed.
I thought about being a teacher for three thousand years. It wouldn't have made my Top Ten Things to Wish For list.
"Same." Chorused everyone, including some of Athena's children.
"Doesn't it ever get boring?" "No, no," he said. "Horribly depressing, at times, but never boring." "Why depressing?" Chiron seemed to turn hard of hearing again. "Oh, look," he said. "Annabeth is waiting for us."
Aphrodite squealed. Annabeth blushed.
"Chiron we need to give you lesson in changing the subject." said Hermes. "Here that kids, give him lessons." They all nodded and wrote stuff down in their notebooks.
The blond girl I'd met at the Big House was reading a book in front of the last cabin on the left,
number eleven.
"Still the blond girl." muttered Annabeth fondly.
When we reached her, she looked me over critically, like she was still thinking about how much I drooled.
Annabeth snorted. "That wasn't it."
"Well what was it then?" ask Thalia wiggling her eyebrows.
Annabeth blushed. She was struggling to mutter out an excuse, while everyone laughed. She sighed in defeat. In truth she was checking him out, while he was skinny he was still very cute.
I tried to see what she was reading...those in an architecture book.
"It was an architecture book." said Annabeth recovering from her blush.
"Annabeth," Chiron said...a winged pole with two snakes wrapped around it. What did they call it... ?
"A caduceus." said Hermes.
A caduceus.
Athena was impressed.
Inside, it was packed with people...I knew this routine. I'd gone through it at enough schools.
"Well?" Annabeth prompted. "Go on."So naturally I tripped coming in the door and made a total fool of myself.
Everyone chuckled. Annabeth smiled fondly.
There were some snickers from the campers..."Undetermined." Everybody groaned.
"Claim. Your. Kids." said Hermes looking at all the gods. Some looked down, while others rolled their eyes (Ares).
A guy who was a little older than the rest came forward. "Now, now, campers. That's what
we're here for. Welcome, Percy. You can have that spot on the floor, right over there."
Hermes and his kids frowned as well as the undetermined campers present.
The guy was about nineteen...his right eye to his jaw, like an old knife slash.
Luke scowled at the reminder of her scar.
"This is Luke," Annabeth said, and her voice sounded different somehow. I glanced over and
could've sworn she was blushing.
Aphrodite raised an eyebrow in Annabeth's direction.
"That isn't why I was blushing, Luke is my older brother." said Annabeth. Young Annabeth nodding in agreement.
"Yeah she is a little sister to me, she has never done that around me before." Luke added.
"Well then...why?" asked Aphrodite.
Annabeth blushed. "Because, when I was nursing Percy back to health Luke came in to check on me. Since I had been in there for a while. He figured out I had a crush on him, and would tease me about it whenever I saw him."
Luke chuckled. "That sounds like something I would do."
Aphrodite sighed. "Shame...some drama would've been fun." Annabeth threw her knife and glared at her along with Athena, Frederick, Sally, Paul and Poseidon. She gulped. "Alright, no more drama."
"I don't think that Percy could make me blush though." said Annabeth. "I mean I haven't even met him yet."
A bright light filled the throne room forcing everyone to look away. When the light died down and everyone looked back they saw a young boy who was asleep hovering in the air for a second before hitting the floor with a thud.
"Ow." the boy groaned. Annabeth saw him and gasped. Young Annabeth saw him and blushed. Some younger girl campers got a little pink. While he wasn't buff they still thought he was very cute, so that is why.
Apollo saw this and laughed. "Guess we know he can make you blush." After that everyone joined in.
Young Percy looked around confused. "Um...where am I?" he asked. Annabeth got up off the coach and made her way over to Percy. Who was shortly followed by young Annabeth after she recovered from her blush.
They quickly explained everything to Percy who just nodded in disbelief and stared in between them. Then he asked the question that had been bugging him. "Are you two sisters?" he said.
They both chuckled, because they had just explained that one of them was from the future. "No. We are both the same person from different times, remember how I told you about time travel?" said older Annabeth, he nodded. "Well I am from the future, while she is me from your time." she pointed at young Annabeth.
"Ah, makes sense." said Percy. He then looked over and saw his mom, he had been told her future self was here. "Mom!" he ran over and hugged her.
Then he noticed she looked a little different. "You look younger mom." he said.
She lightly blushed. "Thank you sweetheart. Here is your new step-father Paul in the future." she gestured to Paul.
Paul stuck out his hand, but Percy hugged him and he hugged back getting smiles from everyone.
"Thank goodness we are rid of Smelly Gabe." said Percy. At the reminder some in the room flashed out with Gabe and beat him up again.
"Percy. Come sit over here." said young Annabeth who was ignored everyone's knowing smile.
Percy nodded and blushed a little bit. He made his way over to where young Annabeth was sitting with, Annabeth and Thalia. (Thalia, young Annabeth, young Percy, and Annabeth is the new order for their couch).
Aphrodite was smiling at them.
Poseidon wanted to go and hug his son, but figured he would wait for a better time. He hadn't been in his life for twelve years, he wanted his son to know he didn't leave on purpose him before he overstepped.
She saw me looking, and her expression hardened again. "He's your counselor for now." "For now?" I asked.
"What happened in the book so far?" Percy asked looking at young Annabeth. 'Wow. She is really pretty' he thought.
She smiled and explained what happened so far, excluding some more embarrassing details for his sake. He nodded sadly and went back to look at Paul who was reading. While he wasn't looking, young Annabeth was looking at Percy. He was wearing a dark green hoodie with a fish on the front, on his lower half he was wearing black jeans and some scuffed checkered vans. 'He must be a skater' she thought.
But what she was really looking at were his eyes. They were the most gorgeous eyes she'd ever seen, they were sea green and constantly changing to darker and lighter shades. It reminded her of the ocean. His windswept raven black hair was just as beautiful and unruly. That made it hard for her to resist the urge to run her fingers through it.
Older Annabeth saw her looking and smiled at her. Making young Annabeth blush 'She must know what I'm thinking.' she thought. 'At least it would be just as embarrassing for her if she told everyone.'
"You're undetermined," Luke explained patiently...Just the Minotaur's horn.
Percy raised his eyebrows. 'There is no way I beat the Minotaur.' he thought. 'I can't even protect my best-friend from Nancy.'
What he didn't notice was both Annabeth's inching their way towards him on the couch.
I thought about setting that down, but then I remembered that Hermes was also the god of thieves.
All of Hermes' kids looked disappointed. "Was hoping to get that." some muttered. But a glare from both Annabeth's made them change there minds.
I looked around..."Come on," Annabeth told me. "I'll show you the volleyball court.""I've already seen it.""Come on." She grabbed my wrist and dragged me outside. I could hear the kids of cabin eleven laughing behind me.
"She was trying to help you Kelp Head." said Thalia glancing at young Percy.
He shrugged. "Not used to people helping." he said.
"Well get used to it when around us." Thalia said as she gestured to everyone. Percy just nodded not really believing it.
When we were a few feet away, Annabeth said, "Jackson, you have to do better than that."
"Oooo last name." said young Travis. "You mad at your cru-"
He was cut off by a knife throw from young Annabeth who was blushing. Percy just yawned during the entire encounter, he was close to falling asleep.
"Where do you keep getting knives?" Travis asked.
Both Annabeth's smiled and gestured to Poseidon who was smiling.
"What?" She rolled her eyes and mumbled under her breath, "I can't believe I thought you were the one."
Before this was read Percy feel asleep leaning his head back.
"Oh but he is the one." said Thalia wiggling her eyebrows at both Annabeth's who blushed.
Everyone was laughing at their red faces. This woke Percy back up, he looked around confused as to why everyone was laughing.
"What happened?" asked a groggy Percy.
Everyone kept their mouths shut from a glare from both Annabeth's. He looked between the two of them, they both managed to recover from their blush.
He sighed and went back to sleep. Young Annabeth let out a breath in relief. She and her older counterpart scooted closer to Percy again. They were now an inch away from him. Older Annabeth just wanted to be reassured her Seaweed Brain was ok, while this version was twelve he was helping her calm down. While young Annabeth wanted to be closer to him, because why not.
"What's your problem?" I was getting angry now. "All I know is, I kill some bull guy—""Don't talk like that!" Annabeth told me. "You know how many kids at this camp wish they'd had your chance?"
Everyone raised an eyebrow at young Annabeth who sighed. She just wanted to see the world, and she can't do that at camp.
"To get killed?"
Everyone nodded in agreement, except the Ares cabin.
"To fight the Minotaur!..."Monsters don't die, Percy. They can be killed. But they don't die."
"Unfortunately." muttered Theseus who was thinking about every other monster he'd fought.
"Oh, thanks..."You talk in your sleep."
Aphrodite smiled widely and said. "You watched him sleep."
Annabeth blushed and nodded.
"I remember after his first year at camp. He came home and described everything he'd done and everyone he'd met. The way he described Annabeth I knew he had a crush." said Sally, both Annabeth's blushed. "But when he feel asleep on the couch, I heard him talking about how pretty her blond hair was and her grey eyes."
Everyone was laughing at what Percy had said, while both Annabeth's were blushing madly. They both scooted next to young Percy in response, their legs touching his. He was sandwiched. Annabeth was much more relaxed (in a non-pedophile way chill).
While young Annabeth had butterflies in her stomach, and her heart was beating faster than it had already been beating. Which was at an accelerated rate next to Percy.
Then Frederick added. "Well...when Annabeth came home the same year Percy went to camp, she described the quest they went on. Then whenever she described Percy, I just knew she had a crush on him."
Both Annabeth's was blushing tomato red. The younger one was confused why she would go home, maybe it would explain in the book. But her older self didn't seem to mind, so maybe it wasn't so bad. Meanwhile older Annabeth was silently begging her father not to say how she had described him.
But to her embarrassment it wasn't her lucky day.
"She described him as a bunch of nice things then she let the word 'cute' slip from her mouth." Frederick said the last part chuckling. "Then Helen pestered her for details girl to girl."
"Well, I wasn't going to share what she said, but seeing as we heard what Percy thinks its only fair." said Helen.
Both Annabeth's groaned, and were tomato's. 'At least Percy is asleep' they thought. Said boy was drooling making them both smile.
"She told me his hair was really messy, and that it made you want to play with it." Helen said as everyone laughed a little, and the young girls nodded in agreement. "She also said his eyes were unlike anything she'd ever seen. If I remember correctly the wording she used was 'His eyes are gorgeous'."
When she finished everyone laughed out loud, but this time Percy just shifted in his sleep. He ended up leaning up against a very red young Annabeth who didn't seem to mind. Even if he would end up drooling on her.
Poseidon saw this and smiled, then decided that since it was late and this was the last chapter he would summon blankets for everyone.
When Thalia, young Annabeth, young Percy, and Annabeth got the blanket they smiled. While young Annabeth blushed because she was now snuggled up to Percy. While older Annabeth saw this and was a littler jealous her Percy wasn't here she was smiling at her younger self. Thalia was grinning at the two of them.
Young Annabeth was also sleepy but was trying to stay awake because of the book.
"You almost called her...if we have to speak of them at all."
Everyone glanced at Hades who just shrugged.
"Look, is there anything we can...There are plenty of empty bunks right over there."
"Because it's tradition." said Hermes sneering at Zeus.
"Well we can't have them staying anywhere else." said Zeus.
Before they could start another argument about the unclaimed Hestia spoke up. "Lets just read and discuss this later."
I pointed to the first few cabins..."He's dead. I never knew him."
Poseidon frowned.
Annabeth sighed...Probably ADHD, too."
"Freaked him out." said Thalia with a chuckle.
Annabeth shrugged. "Well I think he gets it now."
I tried to swallow my embarrassment...I was reeling with so many questions..."Well! A newbie!"
Young Clarrise smiled. Then she saw her older self groan and the futures chuckle.
I looked over..."Sure, Miss Princess," the big girl said.
Both Annabeth's growled at the name.
"So I can..."Who's this little runt?"
They growled again.
"Percy Jackson,"..."It explains the bad smell."
Everyone laughed. The they thought. 'This kid has a death wish'.
"I do not smell bad! This runt is gonna get it now." Ares said while glaring at a sleeping Percy.
Both Annabeth's glared back at the war god, who's glare softened.
Clarisse growled..."Stay out of it, wise girl."
The futures jaws dropped. "He got that from Clarrise?" mumbled some of them.
"Yeah, but I don't dare use it again. Prissy gets mad and I hate to admit it, he is stronger than me." older Clarrise said. Young Clarrise looked like she got punched in the gut at the thought of someone being stronger than her.
The futures were staring at her in shock. "Don't expect me to admit it again, and if you ever tell Prissy you are dead." said Clarrise with a glare to everyone.
Annabeth shrugged. She already knew Percy was stronger, even without being in the water.
Annabeth looked pained, but she did stay out of it, and I didn't really want her help. I was the
new kid. I had to earn my own rep.
Ares nodded in approval, but was also grinning ear to ear.
Poseidon was listening, and debating whether or not to blast the girl for bullying her son. But decided to wait...for now.
I handed Annabeth my minotaur horn and got ready to fight, but before I knew it, Clarisse had me by the neck and was dragging me toward a cinder-block building that I knew immediately was the bathroom.
Poseidon had a small smile. Ares noticed and said. "What are you smiling at, your punk kid is gonna get creamed."
Poseidon glared at Ares and said. "Bathrooms use water." Ares paled a little, but still kept grinning although much less than before.
I was kicking and punching...afford classier johns.
Everyone laughed and agreed.
Clarisse's friends were all laughing, and I was trying to find the strength I'd used to fight the Minotaur, but it just wasn't there. "Like he's 'Big Three' material,"
Everyone snorted. "He is." everyone chorused.
Clarisse said as she pushed me toward one of the toilets...Annabeth stood in the corner, watching through her fingers.
"I WAS NOT." said Annabeth.
"Yeah you were." Clarrise groaned wanting to skip this part.
Annabeth huffed. At this point young Annabeth had almost fallen asleep and was laying her head on top of young Percy's head. She smiled at the scene.
Clarisse bent me over on my...thinking, I will not go into that. I won't.
Poseidon was grinning like a madman now. Along with Theseus and Orion.
Ares was very worried all of a sudden.
Annabeth had a proud smile, while young Annabeth was curious on the verge of sleeping.
Then something happened...I was sprawled on the bathroom tiles with
Clarisse screaming behind me.
Everyone laughed, while Clarrise groaned. Young Clarrise was fuming and really considering getting up and creaming the punk.
I turned just as water blasted out...water shut off as quickly as it had started.
Everyone was laughing and impressed at the power demonstrated by Percy who didn't even know his own father.
Young Annabeth smiled and fell asleep with her head on young Percy's head.
The entire bathroom was flooded. Annabeth hadn't been spared. She was dripping wet, but she hadn't been pushed out the door. She was standing in exactly the same place, staring at me in
shock.
"Shock yes, Awe as well." said Annabeth smiling. "Not to mention annoyed for being wet."
I looked down..."I don't know."
"Thats a lot of power for someone who doesn't know." said Zeus glaring at Poseidon. Who just smiled widely in return.
We walked to the door..."You want to gargle with toilet water again, Clarisse? Close your mouth."
Everyone snorted and thought. 'Yeah he has a death wish.'
Young Clarrise was about to get up, until her older self gave her look that said. 'Not now.' So she just sank into her seat and glared at a sleeping Percy along with her father.
Her friends had to hold her back...grossed out or angry at me for dousing her.
"Not grossed out, because I got the shower water thankfully." said Annabeth. "As for angry, not really. I wasn't happy to be wet."
"Not the last time he's gotten you wet though." Thalia whispered to Annabeth who blushed a brighter red than a fire truck.
"What?" I demanded. "What are you thinking?"
"Thinking about how cute you thought he looked." teased Thalia. Annabeth blushed again.
Everyone chuckled.
"I'm thinking," she said, "that I want you on my team for capture the flag."
"That's the chapter." said Paul as he handed it to Athena to hold for the night.
"I see what your planning Annabeth. Smart, but he won't take it well." said Athena.
"Yeah, he didn't at the time. But I was there watching the whole fight and would've jumped in if he needed the help." said Annabeth. "When I told him that he was a lot happier, he thought I just left him there alone. Which I wouldn't have done."
Everyone was starting to get up and looked at young Annabeth and Percy fast asleep next to each other. They smiled at the sight, while the younger Stoll's got a sneaky picture for blackmail. Thalia shook young Annabeth awake, who looked around to see everyone looking at her. Then she looked over at Percy on her shoulder and started blushing uncontrollably. Everyone chuckled.
"Alright. Someone wake Percy up it's time for dinner." said Hestia.
As soon as she said dinner Percy woke up. He was starting to move off the coach, then noticed the two girls next to him and they were all under the same blanket. He started blushing just as much as young Annabeth. Everyone laughed at both of them and walked to the dining room.
Annabeth removed the cover from the four of them, stood up and grabbed young Percy's hand to lift him of the couch. Young Annabeth got up soon after and walked in the dining room next to Percy, followed by Annabeth and Thalia.
Next chapter will have dinner/sleep/morning breakfast in it.
