Authoress Note: Welcome to Chapter 3 of Make It Right. Thank you to those who have left reviews for this story. It really does mean a lot to me that you guys are enjoying it. I am going to try my best to make this a longer story and I'm making sure that I'm not diving head first into the movie. There are going to be scenes of course before we dive more into the movie. We probably have a few chapters during the time of the Academy before I go back into the movie. Which shirt do you think Andy is going to be? Yellow, Blue, or a Red shirt? I would love to see what you guys think she'll fit right in with. Without further ado Chapter 3. ENJOY!

Chapter 3

Andy came out into the courtyard dressed in her Academy red uniform with the skirt since she felt more comfortable in it since she didn't like the pants option of the uniform. It was only a few weeks into the first year and she was surprised that she was fitting in that well which was rather concerning to her. She hadn't expected that she would fit in that well. Her long blonde hair was pulled up into a ponytail to keep her hair off of her neck. Her blue eyes scanned the courtyard seeing her brother pestering Leonard with something. She let out a groan as she slowly walked over her booted feet barely making any noise on the ground.

"Come on Bones, we should go out tonight." Jim complained as he put his arm over Leonard's shoulder. He wanted to go out for drinks, something fierce. He wanted to celebrate getting into the academy with his sister.

"Jim, you think that is a good idea to go out drinking when only a few weeks ago you had gotten into a fight with cadets before you started here?" Leonard questioned his brow, raising slightly looking over at the younger man trying to brush Jim's arm off of his shoulders.

"Oh come on, it'll be fun." He pointed out with a grin that was becoming more and more cheeky. He really wanted to take Leonard to the bar and drink some booze.

Andy walked up to her brother and let out a breath. "Seriously Jimmy? You can't even take a few weeks off from drinking?" She questioned, her brow raised slightly crossing her arms.

Jim turned his head and his cheeks paled. He was hoping that his sister wouldn't be out in the courtyard. "Andy…"

Andy looked at her brother with anger in her eyes. "You want to go out drinking where you probably could cause trouble again. You've just gotten done fighting two weeks ago. You still have a few wounds from fighting with that guy at the Shipyard Bar and you want to go out drinking again where there is a risk of you fighting again?" She shook her head lightly. "I'm not bailing you out if you get into a fight with another cadet."

"But Andy…"

Andy held up her hand silencing her brother. "I warned you I'm not bailing you out." She shook her head lightly. "We're here to study and learn. You want to prove yourself to Pike correct?" Her brow raised slightly knowing that she was doing a low blow knowing that Jim wanted to prove himself that he could do it in 3 years instead of 4 years to Pike.

Jim let out a groan looking down.

Andy let out a breath. "I'm not bailing you out and you can't have George bail you out either. It won't end well." She shook her head lightly. "If you go out drinking, don't get yourself in trouble." She let out a breath. "I'm going to class." She pointed out before she turned on her heels to leave her brother and Leonard together in the courtyard. She wasn't about to let herself get sucked into Jim's life once again in bailing him out of fights.

Jim let out a breath as he watched his sister leave. "Damn. I didn't think that she would bust my ass on wanting to go out and drink."

"She has a bit of a point." Leonard pointed out looking at his new friend.

Jim shook his head lightly. "I know that she wants me to prove myself, but going out to drink some to celebrate getting into Starfleet shouldn't be a big problem to her."

Leonard shook his head lightly. "She doesn't want you to fail in what you are trying to prove."

Jim ran his hand through his blonde hair knowing that was fairly true. "I am going to prove myself. I will finish what I am going to do in three years instead of four." He stated proudly as he tried to make it look like he wasn't all that upset with what had happened.

Leonard let out a breath shaking his head lightly knowing that Jim was going to probably be a problem child and cause problems for him and most likely his sister as well. "Well don't cause trouble for us. Please."

Jim waved his hand knowing that Leonard was going to try and stop him from having fun and he didn't like that idea. "Having some fun won't cause harm."

Andy slowly entered her classroom letting out a soft breath as she moved carefully up the stairs to sit in her normal seat that she had taken during her first few weeks of classes. She nibbled her lower lip softly as the teacher Mr. Spock entered the room. She shyly looked up seeing the stoic Vulcan enter the room. She was rather surprised that a Vulcan was willing to teach students at the Academy. She looked down, pursing her lips softly together knowing that his eyes wandered across the room meeting some of the eyes of the students. She carefully brought her padd out that she had turned her homework in on.

She was rather surprised that she was able to quickly finish the work, but it made her wonder that her father had that easy of a time sailing through his academy days and so did her brother when she heard from him. She actually wondered if her and Jim would have that easy of a time sailing through the classes. She knew that she and Jim were both fairly smart, but they actually kept it to themselves since they didn't want people to think that they were some kind of smart hicks from the country. They always thought that hicks from the country didn't matter if it was from the south or the west; they always thought they weren't all that smart.

She shifted slightly as she listened to Mr. Spock begins the lesson for the day. She bit her lower lip softly as she kept her attention on the Vulcan that was teaching them. She wouldn't let her little brother's drinking idea get to her. She wasn't going to let him win on the whole plain of having her there for a new life. Granted in a way she was thankful that her brother had done such a thing in helping her get fired to start a whole new life. Perhaps just perhaps she would be able to be a Starfleet officer and do some good in the world. Perhaps she could see what her brother George saw in the world of Starfleet. Perhaps she would see her brother there at some point, but then again, it was something that she was fairly unsure of.

Andy let out a soft breath as she gathered her padd putting it into her bag before picking it up and carrying it with her as she walked out the door. She tried to avoid the other students who were leaving the classroom. She knew that she had some homework to do for Mr. Spock's class which to her would be fairly straightforward and easy for her to understand and finish fairly quickly. But her mind began to drift to her brother. She could only hope that if Jim did go out this evening, he wouldn't cause any sort of trouble by getting into a fight since she had already warned him that she would not be bailing him out of any of the fights that he would be getting into this time.

She blinked a few times seeing Leonard coming out of one of the buildings looking rather frustrated about something. Her brows furrowed, having a strange feeling that this had something to do with her brother. She noticed that he was headed right her way. She let out a breath and walked towards him knowing that this was exactly something that had to do with Jim. "Why do I have the feeling that Jim did something?" She questioned her brow, raising slightly as she looked at the frustrated Doctor.

"You know your brother well." Leonard said letting out a huff of frustration. "He took off. He was sent to the hospital to get checked out."

Andy let out a breath crossing her arms. "Don't tell me. He got into a fight with someone." She then pinched her nose in frustration. "Of course he would do just that. Not even three weeks into the first year and he already started a fight."

Leonard let out a breath. "I don't know how you put up with his crazy antics." He drawled out causing the older Kirk sister to look up at him.

"There is no such thing as dealing with him. Any more is just letting him get away with it and not even bother to try to reprimand him because he'll never listen." Andy shook her head lightly. "Did he even go into detail about the fight before he decided to slip away?"

"No, he didn't really say much before a distraction was caused and he slipped away."

Andy let out a breath, closing her eyes in irritation. "It doesn't surprise me that he slipped away. One thing that Jim hates the most in this world besides our uncle and step father is Doctors." She shook her head lightly.

"He doesn't like Doctors?"

"I think it is a phobia of his." Andy shrugged her shoulders lightly. "I don't even know where it began or anything." She let out a soft breath as her brows pinched together slightly. "I mean I can understand a phobia but this phobia I can't really understand. I'm sorry that he gave you the slip. I'll go and see if I can find him and find out why he was so angry to start a fight."

Leonard nodded his head. "Well, let me know what you find out about why he started the fight."

Andy nodded her head slowly. "I'm sorry again." She said softly before moving quickly to find her brother. She needed to know why he had started a fight not even three weeks into the academy. It worried her that something had happened and it wasn't a good thing.

Andy began to climb the stairs of one of the buildings letting out a soft breath when she saw the familiar blond hair of her brother. She shook her head lightly as she walked over to her brother who was sitting on top of one of the roofs of the campus. She slowly sat down next to him. "Leonard found me." She said softly, keeping her tone soft. She knew that there had to be a reason for him getting into a fight with someone on campus.

Jim let out a soft groan turning his head to look at his sister, bruising on his face. "You're not gonna yell at me for getting into a fight?"

Andy let out a breath shaking her head lightly. "What's the point in me trying to yell at you? You hardly listen Jim because you're so hard headed." She looked out looking at the scene that was before them. "I am not going to be angry with you Jim, but why did you get into a fight?" She slowly looked over at him out of the corner of her eyes.

Jim let out a soft breath trying his best to avoid hitting any of his wounds. "I was hoping Bones wouldn't find you to tell you that I slipped away even getting into a fight."

Andy let out a soft scoff. "I apologized for you bringing him into this mess. Are you afraid that I'm going to yell at you for fighting? All I want to know is why you got into a fight?"

Jim closed his eyes. "One of the male cadets."

Andy turned her head to look at her brother fully to hear what he had to say. "What did the male cadet say?"

"He was bragging that he had gone to the club that you had been working at and he said that he was surprised that they allowed a whore and a stripper at Starfleet. He said the only thing that you were good at was taking your clothes off and dancing and being on your knees sucking…"

Andy wrinkled her nose in distaste. "Okay that's enough information." She said softly, getting up to her feet. "You didn't think of going to Captain Pike to talk to him about the cadet?" She had no reason to yell at her brother for what he had done. She knew that he was protecting her.

Jim shook his head.

"Think you would be able to show me a photo of him?" She questioned her brow raising knowing that she was going to have to deal with this on her own.

Jim nodded his head knowing that his sister was going to do a different approach and most likely get this guy kicked out of the academy by slandering her name so far. "Yeah."

Andy's lips quirked a little bit as she looked at her little brother. "Good."

"You're not going to yell at me?"

Andy shook her head lightly. "No, you thought it was wise to fight that cadet because he said something horrible about me." She let out a soft breath. "But you should've brought this up to Captain Pike or one of the higher ups." She pointed out softly knowing that Jim was just trying to protect her.

Jim nodded his head weakly.

"But next time. Don't start a fight." She pointed out softly.

Jim took a breath and nodded his head slowly.

This is the end of Chapter 3. I hope that you guys enjoyed this chapter. A completely OG chapter for this story. I hope that I did alright with this chapter. I hope that it isn't choppy. I have a hard time with choppy chapters sometimes when it comes to writing a completely OG chapter. We see that Jim has gotten into another fight which of course is never a good thing, but we've seen interaction between the siblings and how Jim will go far to protect his sister. But with the information that she now knows, will she turn the cadet in for what he has said to Jim? Please leave a review and let me know what you think of this chapter. Reviews actually help me out a lot. I will update as soon as I can. Until next time.
