This is a bonus chapter for Shards of Your Voice that'll detail my original idea for how the story would've progressed and concluded.

Before I begin describing what would've transpired in each individual chapter, I would like to call attention to the naming schemes of them all. In total, there would've been 11 chapters, and 8 of them would've been named. Their titles were as following:

Chapter 1: ...
Chapter 2: Innocence
Chapter 3: Loyalty
Chapter 4: Open
Chapter 5: Viability
Chapter 6: Echo
Chapter 7: Yourself
Chapter 8: Ourselves
Chapter 9: Unity
Chapter 10: Epilogue.
Chapter 11: Bonus

If you got eagle eyes or are simply just as cheesy as I was in 2016 (I still am), then you may have noticed the very unsubtle reference to how Kirby games hides words in the names of their worlds. This one, spelling out ILOVEYOU. It was silly. It was saccharine. And yet, I had to do it for the vine.

With that out of the way, let's go into the remaining half (that probably would've been way beyond half the word count.)

Chapter 6: Chapter 6 would've involved Taranza addressing the magical issues Sectonia met in Chapter 5 by taking her to friends of his, Claycia and Elline. It would've been in this chapter that Taranza's job would've been revealed, that being King Dedede's Foreign-and integration Minister for all of those that would move to Dream Land. Claycia is by far the character I regret not getting to write, I would've enjoyed making her this aloof woman who's all friendly. Sectonia would've made an estimate of Claycia being around the same age as her, which Claycia would've laughed heartily at and explain that she's actually four billion years old. She's the creator of Seventopia after all, a wholeass planet! Claycia and Sectonia then would've sit down and enjoyed a conversation explaining Sectonia's situation, before Claycia would take the Cool Shades that Dark Crafter had, now in her possession, and use them to look into Sectonia's spirit. There she would see that a curse had been laid on Sectonia's soul, one that kept her memories bound in cursed locks. A trap set by an evil being, (This would've been Dark Mind, but never explained) breaking these locks would result in Sectonia's immediate death. Sectonia is of course terrified of that, but Claycia subverts those concerns by immediately removing the curse. Yep, just like that. The memory lock is still very much in place, it just won't kill her on the spot if she breaks the chains and gets her memories back. After that, her and Taranza return home.

Chapter 7: Chapter 7 would've involved Taranza going to Daroach to cash in on a favor, namely helping him break into the former Floralian Great Palace, that now being a part museum, part parliament building for the new Republic of Floralia, after they did away with monarchy post the events of Triple Deluxe. Daroach and the rest of the Squeak Squad would divert the attention of the security guards there, while Taranza would sneak into the palace and into the former, untouched bedroom of Sectonia. There, he would summon her again, creating a portal that transported her back to her old home. Witnessing the familiar sight of being summoned from a portal by Taranza, and appearing in her old bedroom, Sectonia would break the locks on her soul and regain all of her memories, from her childhood, to meeting Taranza, to everything they went through together, to her demise and resurrection. She then cries, falling into his arms (hands) as the two intimate friends finally reunite for good. To set the setting, all of this would be set at night, to the backdrop of the big glowey moon.

Chapter 8: After breaking into the palace previously, Chapter 8 would see the two break OUT of the palace, again with the help of the Squeak Squad. As a distraction, Spinni would steal the Floralian Royal Crown that is on display, running off with it. When Taranza and Sectonia arrive at the podium where it once stood, Sectonia is confused, as she pulls out the Floralian Royal Crown she has always carried with her since her resurrection. Taranza then concludes that the crown that was on display must have been a fake, before Sectonia then puts her former crown on to the podium, giving up her former position for good. The two then make their way to the Floralian Archives, where Taranza would be looking after a document that describes a law that was instated after Sectonia's death. (This will be important for later) The two then make their way out, escaping without being noticed. Morning approaches.

Chapter 9: This is the chapter I had the least ideas for, but it wouldn't really need to be anything other than emotional resolution between the two, and perhaps even a kissymissy love confession to the backdrop of a sunrise, you know how it is. This would've also been set on Fine Fields, the lowest island in Floralia.

Chapter 10: Chapter 10 would've been the epilogue to the story, being a short little chapter where Sectonia wakes up in a field on the surface with huddled up to Taranza, who is still sleeping. Then, from over the hills, a pink, little ball of a boy bounces over to the two and gives them a "Hiii!," before noticing that Taranza is still sleeping and quieting his voice. He would then hand Sectonia an envelope with the seal of Dedede on it, before doing a cute little pose and waving goodbye, before running over the hills again. Sectonia decides to wait with opening it, prefering to going back to sleep with Taranza.

Chapter 11: This would've been a bonus chapter from Meta Knight's perspective, taking place a few months later. The new Prime Minister of Floralia has called for conversation between them and Dream Land, and Meta Knight is sent as a representative. Arriving, the exchange pleasantries before the Prime Minister says that their intelligence unit has spotted the previously believed deceased Queen Sectonia in the outskirts of Dream Land, and that those of Dream Land should hand her over to the authorities of Floralia so she may recieve due punishment for her crimes against the nation. Meta Knight then reveals his trump card, that being the former law that Taranza and Sectonia previously found in the archives. It states that, as long as this law were in effect, at the death of any individual who could not be proven to have descendants, their assets would be seized by the government and their birth certificate would be destroyed. Essentially, they would cease to exist. A law that was previously put in place only to legally justify the seizing of the former Floralian Royalty's assets would now come back to bite them, as they would now have no grounds to arrest a woman with no criminal background. That, and Meta Knight also adds that his Highness King Dedede (his full name would've been revealed here as Desmond Descartes Deacon) has granted Sectonia full citizenship to Dream Land. Outside of that, Sectonia may also be difficult to get a hold of at the moment, as Meta knight lastly adds that she is currently outside of Dream Land on vacation for her honeymoon. The Prime Minister, a former member of the royal court, looks at him confused before realizing who her bethroed obviously is. He then concedes, thanking Meta Knight for his visit and wishing him a good day. Floralia is doing fine as is anyway.

That would then conclude Shards of Your Voice, putting a bow on everything, more or less. Thank you once again for reading all of this, I hope this conclusion satisfies the curious mind. Have a good day!
