Spyro: The Hero of Avalar

Ripto arc Episode three: Avalar's Life

Rock music played and a male voice was heard singing the main theme of the story, Spyro, with Spyro and his friends shown one by one with each guitar string, and the guitar played harder with Spyro dodging Ripto's wand blasts and breathing fire at him. "Spyro! He's a kid and he wants to get home, (Elora is shown to be sneaking around some of Ripto's forces to get a Talisman) and Avalar needs a hero, to beat Ripto's dome. (Hunter is shown to be spinning a Talisman on his finger before being chased by Crush and Gulp) Spyro! With power from his head to his tail, (Moneybags is shown to be shaking his money bag to a clearly annoyed Spyro) he'll be there and evil won't prevail."

Flame, Ember, and Cynder were shown working together to get Spyro back home. "When evil's breaking pace, (Sawyer is shown to be overpowering Ripto) he gets right in it's face, Spyro. (Spyro is shown to be struggling to control the pin in his forehead) When trouble comes for shock, (Spyro shakes the headache off and is then shown flying at Ripto) it's time; let's rock, (Spyro punches Ripto and makes the screen change to him and his friends standing with each other as Spyro: The Hero of Avalar is shown with Spyro standing confidently in front of it, Sparx laying right on top of him, Hunter on the O at the end of Spyro, Elora standing next to Spyro with a smile, Nigel and Melinda walking in next to the word 'Hero' as Cynder kissing Spyro on his right cheek, making him smile) Spyro!"

Spyro was currently making his way through Hurricos, which was shown to be a place full of gear themed gadgets and gizmos. He was impressed by what he saw, as the place seemed to be incredibly high tech to the other small worlds he'd been to in Avalar so far. Though, it did have it's brawn parts as well, such as when Spyro spotted a large, muscular brute that looked to be messing around with a gear grinder. A blue creature wearing goggles ran over to him and spoke up in a somewhat nasily voice about the creature. "That's him! That's a Gear Grinder!"

Spyro got a look at the Gear Grinder and walked onward as he spoke up about the creature's lack of fight. "Maybe I should teach the Electrolls how to defend themselves one day." The Electroll was unsure how to feel about that comment with Spyro walking up to the Gear Grinder, who saw him and raised a wrench. Spyro was quick to dodge and jump up however, breathing fire in the face of the Gear Grinder and blinding him. This caused him to fall onto his back and scream in pain from the fire.

Spyro picked up the gear and stuck it into a nearby machine, restoring some power to the land of Hurricos with the Electroll running over to him. "Thanks, Spyro! That's one gear grinder down for the count!"

Just then, a thunderstorm struck roared in the distance, leaving Spyro to question how the Electrolls can live with this while clearly being annoyed by it. "Geez; that storm's been roaring since I got here! How do you guys live with that!?"

"We just distracted ourselves and eventually got used to it." The Electroll explained, and Spyro then gave a deadpan look as the Electroll then pointed up to a big metallic pole on the top of the building to Hurricos. "We realized quickly that the thunderstorms that constantly happen around here power up the machines we use to defend Avalar. Ripto and his lackies may be able to make quick work of them, but we can still help to defend Avalar in every way we can!"

Spyro got a look at the building and saw what the Electroll was talking about when the gear he got back was put back into place. The machine turned on, and it was clear that the power it gained was enormous. Despite not having been here for a long time, he could get what the Electroll was saying. "You're gonna need a pretty powerful robot if you wanna keep Ripto on his toes."

"That's the plan!" The Electroll exclaimed, being excited to show Spyro where the next Gear Grinder was. "Perhaps we can show you the Gear Grinder that holds the gear for the building!" Spyro liked the sound of that, as it felt like he was getting a ticket to the boss battle. And if you've been paying attention, you'll know that Spyro's always up for a boss battle.

A Gear Grinder robot was shown to be getting shoved off of Hurricos from an upward view, and Spyro was then shown dusting his hands off with a confident grin and his eyes closed. Some of the Electrolls ran over to him and started cheering, and Spyro made it clear that he didn't want to be carried. "I'll stick to flying for being above the ground; thanks."

The Electrolls took note of that with the Electroll Spyro was speaking to making a request to him. "Speaking of flying, now we should be able to activate the machine inside the building and restore Hurricos power to full!"

"Then let's fly!" Spyro offered the Electroll a ride, and he accepted, allowing Spyro to take flight as he went up to the building entrance and and headed inside. The Electroll got off of his back and ran over to the main machine of the building. It was a huge lightning rod with three gears surrounding it in a square formation; and when the Electroll put the last one in, it was four. The storm then hit the lightning rod with the Electroll backing up as the area regained it's former power. Spyro was impressed by how much power the place had now and just had to speak up after a chuckle. "How Shocking."

"Terrible pun aside," The Electroll began as he reached for something, and then showed a now happy Spyro a Gear of Power Talisman. "you've earned what you came here for!" Spyro happily accepted the Talisman as the Electroll expressed his gratitude towards him. "If you can handle Ripto like you handled the Gear Grinder thieves, I'll be even more grateful than I am now!"

Spyro took note of that as a portal back to Summer Forest opened up, and he gave a fist bump to the Electroll. "Stay safe, dude. Maybe I'll come back for a visit and teach you guys how to throw down." Spyro went over to the door with the Electroll being excited for a potential visit, and Spyro put the Talisman in his guidebook as he stood in front of the portal. He smiled upon having three of the fourteen Talismans he needed, and he went through the portal, confident he could find the rest and take down Ripto and Sawyer.

Back in Elora and Cynder's hospital room, Elora was expressing amazement over something Cynder did with Spyro. "Let me get this straight. Spyro raided an actual fortress with you and your friends?"

"Multiple different kinds of fortresses actually." Cynder corrected, looking back on all the times she had with Spyro, Ember, and Flame back in the Dragon Realms. "One of them involved him breaking into one of Sawyer's bases and beating a giant robot by farting dark fire on it."

Elora was unsure how that was possible and couldn't help but ask how it was. "How did he manage to do that? He couldn't have possibly-"

Just then, Spyro burst into the room and proudly boasted about his latest achievement while showing off the Gear of Power Talisman with Nigel and Melinda behind him. "Guess who successfully got the third Talisman for our team and got Hurricos back online for making Artisans defenses!"

Cynder coyly thought for a moment with Elora being impressed as the former then gave a sly grin and response. "Was it... (Points to Spyro) you?"

"That's right!" Spyro walked over to Elora and Cynder before putting the guidebook down and showing off the three Talismans he currently had. "This little scavenger hunt is proving to be more fun than I thought too!" Spyro looked to Elora, who smiled upon hearing that he was having a good time. "I didn't think Hurricos would be capable of using something as loud and annoying as a thunderstorm constantly looming over them to their advantage; let alone all of Avalar!"

"That's Avalar for ya. Always blowing away expectations." Elora responded happily, getting down to business as she got to showing Spyro where he needed to go next. "Anyway, now that you've been to Hurricos, the next location you should head to is Sunny Beach."

Spyro took a liking to the sound of that. A beach was exactly what he needed after this was over, and now he'd get a head start! "Sounds like an early vacation! Not that I'd take it mind you, it just sounds like a good place to take a breather."

"Yep. It's pretty relaxing." Elora confirmed, and then she made a suggestion to Spyro about how he should handle his mission, since he'd already been to four places searching for Talismans. "Maybe I could send Hunter to help this time. He's got some scuba gear that'd be helpful for searching underwater."

Back in Winter Tundra, it was revealed that Sawyer was currently watching Spyro from a dark orb he spawned from his palm. Spyro was currently giving Elora his response to the offer she made to him. "Thanks, Elora, but I think I can handle searching for a Talisman on a beach by myself."

Cynder then went over to Spyro and nuzzled his right cheek, hoping that he would be safe during this mission. "Even if it IS a beach, promise me you'll be careful, Spyro. Sawyer and Ripto could come for you at any time without warning."

Spyro gently scratched the bottom of Cynder's chin as he assured her that he would be okay. "You can count on it, baby."

Cynder sighed softly as Sawyer then crushed the orb and looked to Ripto, who was standing in front of him as he saw the vision as well. Sawyer then stepped down and walked up to Ripto as he began to speak. "Sunny Beach."

"It's pretty self explanatory." Ripto responded, knowing that Sawyer would be smart enough to figure it out on his own. "I'm guessing you want us to attack the place."

"Precisely." Sawyer confirmed, and he and Ripto walked over to the edge of the Winter Tundra castle with Sawyer explaining his plan. "You will teleport us to Sunny Beach and come with me to demand the Talisman from the residents there. If they refuse to hand it over, we will force it out of their grasp." Sawyer then looked directly at Ripto, making sure he knew he was serious. "You will not hesitate to attack anyone who stands in the way of our mission. And I give free reign to kill anyone who goes too far."

Ripto wasn't sure how to respond, so he simply nodded and allowed Sawyer to take the lead on this one. He just hoped he wouldn't have to resort to outright genocide. He saw what Sawyer could do back in Idol Springs. "Right. Got it."

Sawyer then turned to Ripto, pointing to his staff after he made his response with a grin. "Brilliant." And with that, Ripto used his staff to teleport himself and Spyro to Sunny Beach.

Spyro was at the Sunny Beach portal with Elora and Hunter there as Hunter realizing something just before Spyro got through. "Oh, wait!" Hunter took out a bag of some kind and took out some green orbs, intriguing Spyro as Hunter handed them to him. "They're called Power Orbs. They aren't as powerful as the Talismans, but there are a lot more of them and should provide you plenty of power along with them."

Spyro was impressed by the Power Orbs that were sitting in front of him, and he put all five of them away in his guidebook. He didn't know how to use them yet, but he was sure Elora and Hunter would inform him when the time was right. "Thanks, Hunter. Guess you're not as bumbling and useless as you look."

Hunter raised an eyebrow with a confused smile towards that as Elora then wished Spyro luck in Sunny Beach. "Good luck with Sunny Beach, Spyro. Now that Hurricos is back in working order, Ripto and Sawyer will most likely be harder on your trail."

Spyro was confident he could take on Ripto, but not so much about Sawyer. He then had a flashback to the battle he had with him, along with the exact moment he got knocked out. His pin glowed a little as he started to feel fear from that memory, but he quickly shook it off as he replied. "As long as it's just Ripto, I should be okay." Spyro then went through the portal hastily, leaving Elora concerned for him as he thought about Ripto and Sawyer.

Spyro arrived in Sunny Beach, only to find that the entrance to it was surrounded with chaos, much to his horror. Unconscious bodies, one of the adult turtles about to be killed by Sawyer, and Ripto was now setting fire to one of the trees there. The sight of the two of them being here infuriated Spyro, and as he flew at Sawyer at max speed, he ended up getting stopped by Ripto's wand. Ripto then laughed a bit as he walked over to Spyro and boasted about his chances of winning. "You really aren't as clever as you think, dragon! (Looks at Sawyer) No offense."

"None taken. Anyone dumb enough to think you were referring to them instead should be frowned upon." Sawyer assured Ripto as he set the turtle down, holding him there as he then looked at Spyro. He decided that now would be a good time to try and play with his morality. "Let's play around with an ultimatum of morality, Spyro." Spyro was unsure of what Sawyer was going to do, and he looked down at the turtle, and then back at him. "This turtle... or you? Who shall I kill?"

Spyro gave a deadpan look as he made his response, finding that Sawyer was making this too easy. "Really? You're making me choose between the only one strong enough to take you down and a turtle I don't even know?" The turtle was offended by that remark. He saw Spyro's point, but it still upset him. Spyro's pin was then shown glowing, indicating that Spyro wasn't in complete control here. "Dude, if I die, then you'll just kill everyone here, and Ripto will move onto the next one, and then the next, until you take over all of Avalar; go right ahead."

Sawyer was unfazed by Spyro's indifference to the ultimatum, and he then looked down at the turtle as Spyro started to instantly regret making the decision so hastily. His pin stopped glowing as Sawyer crushed the head of the turtle, making Spyro look in disgust and then almost vomit in response. He managed to swallow it, and then Ripto looked in shock before calling out the two dragons on what just happened. "You two sure have some twisted logic! You could've at least thought it over for one second!"

"One." Sawyer then slammed Spyro into the ground and looked into his eyes, as he put his palm on his head. The purple dragon wasn't sure what Sawyer was going to do, and he let out a nasty growl, which Sawyer soon pushed his head downward for. He then made a comment that would pierce Spyro directly in his heart. "I suppose the two of us aren't so different after all." And after Sawyer made sure that comment sunk into Spyro's head, he gave a sadistic grin and slammed his head into the sand. And even though it was soft, Sawyer's strike was strong enough to make it happen.

Twenty minutes later, Spyro was still knocked out on the beach, and the presence of Sawyer and Ripto was no longer there. He looked around to find that the area he was in was completely destroyed, and he was horrified by all the destruction he saw. He then saw the deceased turtle and remembered what happened right before he was knocked out. His guilt skyrocketed and he could barely contain his anger towards himself for what he'd done. He looked around and tried to find survivors, flying in the hopes that he could have a better chance if he were using his wings.

He started low to the ground and spotted a turtle hiding underwater, and he felt he could get some information from them. He breathed in deep and dove underwater, swimming down to the turtle, who was at first startled due to him looking similarly to Sawyer. He then saw that he was purple and not black, and he allowed Spyro to swim over to him and did his best to ask the turtle if there were more survivors. He also added in a plus sign after pointing at him for good measure.

The turtle nodded his head yes with Spyro giving a thumbs up and asking if the turtle if he was safe down there. He nodded his head yes with Spyro nodding in response before flying up and out of the water. He breathed in and out when he did, catching his breath as he then looked around and saw some of Ripto's minions bullying some of the turtle children. He became enraged upon seeing this and flew straight at them, smacking one of them into the wall and grabbing the other one's lightning rod. After he did that, he took it from him and shoved it into his body, shocking him brutally.

Spyro looked towards the turtle kids and he saw that one of them had a shock mark on them. He felt awful for what'd happened here. He only got a glimpse of what happened back in Idol Springs, but now he was getting the full picture of what the Sawyer and Ripto team up was doing to Avalar. He knew he had to at least check and see if the Talisman was still there this time, so he spoke to the turtle kids, making sure they weren't too badly hurt. "You three okay?"

The turtles looked at Spyro, and despite their silent crying, one of them was able to answer his question for all three of them. "I wish I could say yes." The turtle explained the situation to Spyro, and his look of guilt further increased as she did. "That mean dragon who was with Ripto killed my father and now he's attacking the Sunny Beach throne area along with his minions, who keep shocking and cooking us."

Spyro clenched his fist, and he knew he would've had to find out where that place was to stop Sawyer and Ripto. He felt too much guilt, and he only hoped speaking up would help. "Kid. I think I... might've had something to do with your father's death." The turtle looked up to Spyro, who gulped as he spoke up about what happened. "I don't know for sure if it was him, but there was this turtle who... Sawyer had by the beach. He was about to kill him, and I charged at him to save his life. Sawyer caught me, and he made me choose between my own life, and the turtle's."

The turtle was shocked to learn about this, and her friends went over to her and patted her shoulders to help her feel better. "Did... did you choose to save yourself?"

Spyro nodded his head yes, and then he spoke up about why that was. "I knew that if he killed me then no one would be left to stop him. I'd rather not say, but I have history with Sawyer, and as far as I know, I'm the only one strong enough to have even a chance at taking him and Ripto down." The turtle let Spyro finish as his look of regret only amplified from there. "I didn't even hesitate. (Gulps) I know sorry doesn't even begin to make up for getting your dad killed, but I have to know where your throne room is, so I can stop Sawyer and Ripto."

The turtle was disgusted by what she just heard, but she knew that she couldn't take any chance to see Sawyer and Ripto being defeated. After all, it wasn't just her father's life that was on the line. It was all of Avalar. "Even if you don't win, I know this is the best call."

Sawyer and Ripto were watching as some of Ripto's minions shocked the turtles while Ripto asked about the turtle from earlier. "So. That turtle was definitely killed in a rather... gruesome manner."

"He was merely used as a means of letting fear sink into the creatures of this land." Sawyer informed Ripto, and then he turned to him as he made absolute sure he knew what to do next. "Get the Talisman from the main room, and come back to me once you've obtained it."

Ripto nodded his head yes, and just as he hopped down and was ready to head for the main room, Spyro jumped out and pulled Ripto under the water, much to his surprise. Spyro then placed his rear end into the water as he then...

BRRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUUP

...ripped a loud and bassy five second fart on cue right onto Ripto, hitting him with a nasty rotten egg fart that knocked him out and caused the water to start turning a greenish yellow. Spyro took notice to this and hopped out, deciding to leave Ripto there as he then whiffed the air, being proud of his fart, but knowing the still alive turtles wouldn't agree. "Yeah; I should definitely help them clean this when I'm done." Spyro went over to the main room with Ripto still being dazed as he awoke, only to become disgusted when he saw the water and smelled the air, knowing what'd just happened to him.

Spyro went into the main room to find a scared chef hiding in the corner while facing the wall in immense fear. Spyro knew that this fear was because of Sawyer and Ripto, so he went over slowly while speaking as calmly, and as earnestly, as he could. "You okay?" The chef turned to see Spyro, holding his spatula up as Spyro then stayed back to avoid anything happening with his pin. "Don't worry, dude. I'm not here to hurt you." Spyro then saw a Turtle Medallion Talisman, and gestured to it as it hung up on the wall. "I just need that Talisman to stop Sawyer and Ripto."

The chef looked back at the Talisman and backed up slowly towards it with Spyro smiling softly in response. "Yeah, there we go. This'll help us stop those creeps."

"Those 'creeps' are going to kill you all!" Ripto shouted from behind, causing Spyro to turn around and saw his furious glare. "You think you can pull that juvenile prank on me and expect me to just walk away!? Ha! Big mistake, bub! I don't walk away from any dragons without leaving them for dead after ripping their guts open!"

"I'll keep that in mind, Ripto." Sawyer spoke from above, causing Ripto to flinch as he looked up and saw Sawyer looking down upon Spyro, unfazed by Ripto's words. Spyro quickly noticed that he was holding the head of the turtle elder, causing him to seethe with horror upon seeing it. Sawyer gave a look into the eyes of the elder as he then gave a devilish grin and cold chuckle in response. "To attempt to save lives... and fail." Sawyer dropped the head on the ground and dove down, crushing it and letting the horror sink into Spyro's heart as he continued. "You must be used to it by now."

Spyro then started seething with anger as his pin started glowing brightly, which Sawyer and Ripto quickly took notice to. Ripto got scared and ran out of the way, leaving Sawyer to give an intrigued look as Spyro then started glowing an even darker purple than he was. His anger screamed that he was ready to kill Sawyer, and it caused the chef to be even more scared of him than he was of Sawyer. Spyro took advantage of this and turned to the chef, speaking in a harsh and violent tone. "Give me that Talisman if you know what's good for you."

The chef threw the Talisman to Spyro, who stopped Sawyer from dashing in front of him before grabbing it. Sawyer was impressed by this level of speed, and he was quick to counter it after his word on it. "Impressive." Sawyer swatted Spyro into the wall, which he then jumped off of and breathed a heavy flame at Sawyer, who blocked it and walked towards Spyro. The flame was also purple, which was even hotter than red flame and blue flame combined, much to Ripto's and the chef's awe.

Sawyer walked up to Spyro and punched him in the chest, causing him to snap out of his trance and fall to the ground while holding his chest tightly. Sawyer then took the Talisman from him and looked down at Spyro, holding him by his forehead as he then started slamming his head into the ground and causing him to black out.

Once. Twice. Thrice. Four times. And then five. That was what it took to knock Spyro out, and Sawyer checked to find his pulse, only for Ripto to speak up. "Sawyer! My staff is almost out of magic! We'll have to leave now so I can recharge it right away!"

"Drat." Sawyer glared down to Spyro, who was starting to wake up, revealing that Sawyer was going easier on him than before. "Remember this, Spyro. You will die. Not now of course, but soon." Sawyer dashed over to Ripto and teleported off with him, leaving Spyro to stand up and look towards the chef. The chef was still trembling with fear, and it was clear that he was traumatized from this experience. Spyro had to get to Elora and Cynder, but first... he had to atone for his mistakes here.

Flame and Ember were currently helping out with the portal repairs with Lindar doing the electrical work while they gathered some defense supplies. While they were doing this, Ivy flew in from the window to inform Lindar of their current defense units. "I have my fellow Darkness Breakers on high alert for danger, Lindar. We should be able to keep anyone else from breaking in long enough to fix the portal now."

"That's brilliant, honey." Lindar responded gratefully, and he put a wire together as he confidently told Ivy what he felt was going to happen. "I was going to put everything I had into getting Spyro back regardless of the defenses, but now I think I can guarantee finishing the portal to help get him back relatively quickly."

Ivy sat down next to her husband and smiled at his dedication to getting Spyro back. "He's lucky to have you as a father. Ever since you found his egg in that river... you've done nothing but be the best father you could for him."

Lindar was flattered by that comment, but he was more than aware that he hadn't done it alone. "That's not to say I did it single handedly. If you hadn't come into my life before that point, I would've had to raise him without a romantic partner. (Gently strokes Ivy's chin) You've always been the one to teach him responsibility."

Ivy laughed gently towards the stroking with Flame and Ember taking notice to the situation and Flame gagging as he pointed it out. "I don't know what you see in that stuff, Ember."

"It just looks like something I'd want, I guess." Ember answered, and she showed a bit of despondence when doing it; not because of Flame not understanding completely why she loved romance, but because of her feelings towards Spyro. It was clear that she was having a hard time trying to move on from him. 'Maybe he'll change his mind, and if not, then maybe I'll find someone else one day. Whatever makes us both happy.'

Spyro was currently helping the turtles by fixing the water at some kind of pipe that looked as if it was next to a cemetery. When Spyro finished heating it up, the green water on one of the monitors went away and replaced it with fully green water, and he then spoke to the new village elder, who was more middle aged than old, but hey; you try coming up with a new leader on the spot, to inform him about another detail. "And if I come again, I'll try not to fart in the water."

The turtle laughed a bit at that comment, and then he spoke up about another one of Spyro's misdeeds. "I'd prefer you also refrain from traumatizing our chef." Spyro chuckled a bit and nodded in understanding, and then he noticed the turtle's look of despondence, and he knew why. He didn't count, but he knew there were a few lives lost in Sawyer and Ripto's attack. "I only hope the deaths we faced won't be in vain. Sunny Beach won't be the same after today."

Spyro gained a look of determination after a couple seconds of regret and made the turtle a promise that he knew he could keep. "I swear on my life, turtle leader. I'm gonna take Sawyer and Ripto down." The turtle leader looked at Spyro, who was confident that somehow, he would be able to stop Sawyer and Ripto. "I can't tell you when I'll do it, and losing the Talisman from here is a big setback, but I'll do it. And I won't stop moving until I will." The turtle was glad to see Spyro's commitment. It was clear to him that Spyro really did have a good heart.

Cynder, Elora, and Hunter were talking about life as Elora brought up something funny from the past that Hunter did. "So then he balanced the punch bowl on his head when it went flying and tried to tilt it into a cup to serve it to me. Needless to say, it wasn't the best idea."

Cynder laughed a bit with Hunter bringing up another detail from that day. "I'm just lucky you weren't wearing your GOOD dress. King Nigel would've gone crazy on me if I'd ended up ruining THAT one."

Elora couldn't deny that with Spyro entering the room as Cynder then stood up, feeling better than before as she walked over to him. "Spyro!" Spyro and Cynder nuzzled each other gently as Cynder expressed her excitement to see him again. "I never get tired of seeing your face."

Spyro smiled upon hearing that, only to then gain a remorseful look, much to the worry of Cynder, Elora, and Hunter. "The feeling's mutual, Cynder, but I... I didn't get the Talisman." Spyro showed the others where the Talisman would be when Elora and Hunter walked over and showed that there were now two empty spots. "I was about to get it, but then Sawyer and Ripto got it from me." Spyro then clenched one of his palms, furious at what he saw from Sawyer. "Sawyer killed the elder right in front of me. And with that smug grin to boot!"

Spyro threw the guidebook at the wall, leaving Hunter to step in immediately after to try and calm him down. "Don't take it out on the book, Spyro. What you saw was awful, but you gotta keep a cool head if we're gonna take these creeps down." Spyro saw Hunter's point and did his best to calm down, and Hunter then pulled out some scuba gear as he got ready to help Spyro find the next Talisman. "And if it helps, I'm ready to help you find the next Talisman." That did help a little. Spyro was always glad to know someone who was willing to lend a paw.

Spyro and Hunter were getting ready to find the last Talisman as Cynder and Elora stood with them outside the portal as Cynder spoke to Spyro. "Elora gave me this healing potion that's been working like a charm since I got it. I should be able to help you with getting the Talismans and Orbs soon enough."

"As long as you get better, baby, you can do whatever is on your mind." Spyro assured Cynder, giving her a gently peck on her snout and making her laugh a little as he then looked at Elora. "Don't worry, Elora. I'm gonna give it two hundred percent with getting the Talisman this time."

Elora was impressed when she heard that. Was going two hundred percent even possible? Hunter then assured Elora that he would also give it his all. "I'll be ready if he runs into any danger. Or, at least I hope I'll be. I'd probably have to know what that Sawyer creep is like before I do anything to face off against him."

"Just keep your mind set on helping Spyro get the Talisman and both of you returning safe and sound." Elora assured Hunter, and the two of them then hi fived as she looked at Cynder. "Cynder, I could use you for a special task here in the castle if you're up for it. We should be able to finish it before Spyro and Hunter get back from Aquaria Towers."

"Anything to help stop Sawyer and his new sorcerer wannabee sidekick." Cynder assured Elora, who was glad to see that Cynder was on board. Spyro and Hunter then nodded to each other, jumping into the portal to head to the next location.

On the other side of the portal, there was a land that looked like it had some mechanical stuff going on, but also some immobilized seahorses. When Spyro and Hunter went through, they saw what was going on and were shocked by what they saw. It was a lot less wet than Spyro anticipated, and Hunter was quick to inform him that the place usually wasn't like this. "I don't like this, Spyro. Aquaria Towers usually isn't this dry."

"I could figure out that much without a guide." Spyro walked up to one of the seahorses to see if he could still speak. "You okay to talk, little guy? If so, then tell us who did this so I can floor them." The seahorse jumped the best he could and pointed over to a water worker messing with the machine that lets the water out. Hunter nodded to Spyro, who charged at the water worker and knocked him out. He then looked around and saw that he was going to have to do a lot of work to get this place up and running again. "This could take a while."

To be continued.

An instrumental version of the main theme played during the credits.
