Spyro: The Hero of Avalar

Ripto arc Episode four: Elora's Plan

Rock music played and a male voice was heard singing the main theme of the story, Spyro, with Spyro and his friends shown one by one with each guitar string, and the guitar played harder with Spyro dodging Ripto's wand blasts and breathing fire at him. "Spyro! He's a kid and he wants to get home, (Elora is shown to be sneaking around some of Ripto's forces to get a Talisman) and Avalar needs a hero, to beat Ripto's dome. (Hunter is shown to be spinning a Talisman on his finger before being chased by Crush and Gulp) Spyro! With power from his head to his tail, (Moneybags is shown to be shaking his money bag to a clearly annoyed Spyro) he'll be there and evil won't prevail."

Flame, Ember, and Cynder were shown working together to get Spyro back home. "When evil's breaking pace, (Sawyer is shown to be overpowering Ripto) he gets right in it's face, Spyro. (Spyro is shown to be struggling to control the pin in his forehead) When trouble comes for shock, (Spyro shakes the headache off and is then shown flying at Ripto) it's time; let's rock, (Spyro punches Ripto and makes the screen change to him and his friends standing with each other as Spyro: The Hero of Avalar is shown with Spyro standing confidently in front of it, Sparx laying right on top of him, Hunter on the O at the end of Spyro, Elora standing next to Spyro with a smile, Nigel and Melinda walking in next to the word 'Hero' as Cynder kissing Spyro on his right cheek, making him smile) Spyro!"

Elora and Cynder were heading up to the roof of the Summer Forest castle for the plan Elora needed Cynder for. When they got up to the top of the ladder they were climbing, Cynder discovered that the roof had a bunch of cannons on it, and she had an idea as to what Elora wanted from her. "Let me guess. Spyro told you about my lightning powers at some point, and you want me to use them on these cannons to power them up."

"On point, Cynder." Elora answered, and then she guided Cynder to the first cannon, feeling that it'd be enough for a test. It was a small, yellow cannon, and Cynder felt this would be easy enough to handle. "This is a level one cannon. It's not the strongest, but it's still efficient enough to catch an enemy's attention."

Elora opened up an electrical hatch and Cynder snapped her fingers, creating a small lightning orb and putting it into the hatch. This got the hatch working again, only for it to start firing, surprising Cynder and Elora. Thankfully, Elora turned it off quickly, and then she giggled as she realized her mistake. "Sorry about that. I forgot this thing was on when it got taken down. (Points to the switch) This switch will determine whether or not that's the case."

Cynder took note of that and felt that these cannons could be useful as she looked at the towers. It was clear that these cannons were made for distracting the enemy rather than actually harming them. If it were made for actual battle, it would've definitely done some damage. "So these cannons are made for making sure the enemy lays off of it's current target."

"Yep. That's their basic purpose." Elora confirmed before guiding Cynder to the next cannon. "There's two of each level cannon on each of the four sides of the castle. If we get all of these made first, then we can get to the level two cannons with ease, which will be when we actually start turning the battle cannons on."

"Sounds like a plan to me." Cynder said in response, and Elora opened the next hatch with Cynder turning it on the same way she did before. She then asked if Nigel and Melinda knew what they were doing up here. "So, King Nigel and Queen Melinda are okay with this?" Elora nodded her head yes to answer, making Cynder pleased that they had permission to do this. "That's good. Last thing I'd want to do with royalty is make them mad." Elora could get behind that, especially with how her dad was. Thankfully, he seemed to be lightening up a little.

Spyro and Hunter were searching around the Aquaria Towers homeworld with Spyro rising out of the water with a stylish jump. He then started moon walking as Hunter came up and saw him celebrating his graceful rise. He couldn't help but laugh as he watched and then he saw Moneybags, heading over to greet him. "Oh; hey, Moneybags. Still working for those gems of profit I see."

"Hunter, my boy, you couldn't be more right." Moneybags responded proudly, and then Spyro took note of this when pressing a nearby switch that helped the water in another area rise up as he then brought up something that was down underwater. "I must say however. Those mechanical sharks in the water are certainly making it much harder for me to make profit here. Almost every seahorse is too immobile to use my submarine."

Spyro liked the idea of using a submarine and couldn't help but show that with his excited grin. "So that submarine could kill the robo sharks, right?"

"I suppose it could." Moneybags answered with a chin rub, and then he gave a sly grin as he lightly shook his bag to Spyro and made him an offer. "For a price. One hundred gems, and you can use it whenever you come here."

Spyro didn't like the idea of giving Moneybags MORE money, but if it was to save Avalar and return home, it was worth it. So he sighed and pulled out the gems to give him and put them in his bag. "Fine. This world lets me find them like a baby with candy anyway."

"It tends to do that." Moneybags chuckled, and then he pressed a button on a remote he pulled out, which allowed the submarine to form and leave Spyro and Hunter in awe. Did they seriously just see a submarine go from being invisible to being visible to the naked eye? "Thank you, Spyro. These gems are music to my ears. (Looks at Hunter) Keep an eye on him, Hunter. He's a keeper."

"With what he's pulled off so far, I can believe that." Hunter replied after laughing a bit, and then he and Spyro thanked Moneybags before jumping into the submarine to take down the sharks. Of course... it wouldn't be the easiest of tasks for Hunter, for a couple reasons.

Cynder and Elora were currently powering up the last level one cannon, and when they did, Elora pulled out a small device that showed this fact. She was glad to see the cannons back online, and the bar graph she had on the device showed that there were four levels of cannons to patch up. She knew this would take some power, and she didn't want to overload Cynder. "This is gonna take some time to get done, Cynder. And a lot of power to boot. Let me know if you ever wanna take a break."

Cynder took note of that, but felt she could handle the level two cannons for now. "Thanks, but I think I have enough energy to handle the level two cannons. I've learned a lot of lightning spells from my spell book too, so if I have to use a specific lightning to power up a cannon, that should be no problem."

"Knowing that, you would also be perfect for the actual fighting!" Elora excitedly pointed out, heading back over to the first level two cannon with Elora, and the first level two cannon was right behind the first level one cannon, like all the others were. The level two cannons were bigger and colored in grey, which indicated that they did a basic amount of damage to the enemy they hit. "Now THIS is a fighting cannon. It's gonna require at least twice times the juice of a level one cannon."

"I can work with that." Cynder assured Elora, and then Elora opened the hatch that was on the side, and Elora put her claw up to it and put some of her lightning magic into it. This got it powered up, and this time, Elora made sure that the cannon was turned off before they fired. Cynder was glad to see this going well as she asked how the cannon worked. "So do these cannons lock-on to their target, or..."

"They sure do." Elora answered, and then she went into a little more detail. "The level one cannons home in on enemies that are endangering downed creatures. The level two cannons home in on any attacking enemy, and while the level one cannons shoot balls, these ones shoot lasers."

Cynder liked the sound of that, and she knew that Spyro would get a kick out of it too. "Just wait for Spyro to hear about this." Elora smiled as she looked at the cannon. She was glad to me doing something of use when it came to the actual fighting, even if she couldn't physically get involved in the scrap out there.

Spyro and Hunter launched a rocket at one of the sharks that was chasing after them and made the shark accidentally eat it. This led to the shark malfunctioning for a bit before exploding, which caused his metallic remains to sink to the bottom. Spyro and Hunter arrived at the location of the last switch, and Spyro proudly jumped out of the submarine with Hunter gasping for air as he rose out of the cockpit. He then called Spyro out as he finished. "You, are a nasty kid, Spyro."

Hunter hopped off of the submarine and went over to Spyro, who pressed the last switch and allowed water into the last part of Aquaria Towers. "Well, yeah; what'd you expect?" Spyro took notice to a sack Hunter was carrying and wondered what was in it. Actually, he had a pretty good idea. "Is that a bag of those orbs you told me about?"

"You bet it is!" Hunter answered, and then he kneeled down to Spyro as he opened the sack up and showed that he had at least ten orbs in there. I found at least three in this place before Moneybags gave us that submarine at switch four. We could use some of these to power you up to stop Ripto and that Sawyer dude before they have a chance to fight us."

Spyro liked the sound of that and happily accepted as Hunter handed him three orbs without complaint. He then laughed a bit as a bizarre thought came to his mind. "Thanks, dude. Thank God you didn't feel the need me to help you tame some manta ray for some of these."

"Nah; there are more major things at stake." Hunter assured Spyro, and then some of the seahorses came up and smiled to them as some of them cheered. This made Hunter chuckle a bit as he pointed out. "Looks like we've got a bit of fanfare goin' on."

"I could definitely use it. It's been a long week for me." Spyro admitted, and Hunter could get behind that, since anyone who's suffered a long week could do with some praise. The two friends then went back to the submarine with Hunter breathing in deep before he jumped in, knowing it was gonna be a tough ride on the way back.

It was evening time in Summer Forest, and Elora and Cynder were currently in Elora's favorite swimming pond, which was, of course, in the Summer Forest garden. The two of them were very relaxed with Elora just floating in the water, which Cynder took notice to as she swam over to her swiftly. "You really know your relaxation spots, Elora."

"I try my best. This is kind of a personal spot for me though, so it's pretty obvious of me to pick it." Elora replied as she looked at the ceiling, revealing some kind of painting that showed herself and her parents. "I think you can guess why just by looking around."

Cynder was looking at the painting too and saw what Elora was getting at with Spyro and Hunter entering the room while chatting. Spyro was currently boasting about how he was able to now secure four Talismans compared to Sawyer's two. "And now that I have two more Talismans than Sawyer and Ripto do, I'd love to see how they're gonna try and find the other eight before I can even get a look at them."

"Just make sure you have those orbs I gave you so you can take them down more easily." Hunter informed Spyro, knowing that these orbs would be more than helpful to him. "One orb in your veins, and you'll be able to slam that giant club Crush holds so hard into his skull, that he'll have brain damage for a week!"

Elora and Cynder overheard what was going on with both of them being pleased about the progress as Elora spoke up when they swam to the edge of the pond. "I knew it was a good call getting a dragon on board, Hunter. You and Spyro are already making a great team!"

Spyro and Hunter fist bumped with Cynder starting to get cautious as she remembered just how powerful Sawyer was. "Just don't get too cocky, Spyro. Don't forget; I fought Sawyer as soon as I got here, and he's more than capable of smashing your bones if things get too serious."

"What is it with everyone and mentioning broken bones right now?" Spyro asked, and Hunter shrugged, not really knowing why there was so much mention of it despite doing so himself. Spyro then brushed it off and went to letting Cynder know he would be okay. "Don't worry, Cynder. I'm not gonna let that try-hard clone of me get away with anything he's done so far." Cynder was glad to hear that, but then Spyro saw Elora looking a little suspicious by that and quickly spoke up. "The clone thing doesn't mean anything. It's just something I came up with on the spot."

Elora took note of that, despite not entirely believing it, and then jumped out of the water to rub Spyro's forehead. Cynder didn't mind, since she knew Elora was probably doing that to help Spyro feel better about the situation. If only they could tell her that Spyro's pin was making his mood swing at random. "If there's something you need to tell me, Spyro, you can take as much time as you need. You aren't obligated to tell me anything that makes you uncomfortable."

Spyro was glad to hear that, but it also made him feel bad about lying to Elora. "Thanks, Elora. I'll take note of that." And he did. He just wished Elora wouldn't be betrayed if he revealed what he was hiding from her. Oh well. He got all of the Talismans here. Now he had to figure out where to go next.

Sawyer and Ripto were still in Winter Tundra as Sawyer and Ripto were watching Spyro and the others at the castle garden. The mention of the amount of Talismans they had made Ripto frustrated, as he knew that they could've gotten the next Talisman if they'd went to Aquaria Towers. "We should've gone to Aquaria Towers after hearing about it! If we did, we could've beaten that ignorant dragon to the Talisman!"

Sawyer snapped his fingers and caused some kind of pillar to appear before him and Ripto. This startled Ripto, and Sawyer walked over to the pillar with the two Talismans he had on him. "Even if they end up with more Talismans than what we have, they will still find themselves unable to prevail." Sawyer set the Talismans down and a dark force surrounded them, leaving Sawyer to give a sadistic grin as he watched. "My plan is still going accordingly."

"You mean OUR plan is still going accordingly." Ripto corrected, and then he realized that he would need confirmation before he said something like that. "Assuming you want me involved in... whatever it is you're planning, past the Talisman collecting."

Sawyer snapped his fingers after the Talismans vanished, and Ripto flinched as Sawyer looked right at him; his gaze, cold as ice. "Prove yourself to be useful past the Talismans, and you will work alongside me as my right hand for when my plan is successful." Sawyer then walked up to Ripto, intimidating him and causing him to back up as Sawyer then got aggressive. "Fail me, and you will die at my claws. Or I'll do to you what I did to my previous right hand; Gnasty Gnorc."

Ripto gulped and nodded his head yes fearfully, hoping he could continue to prove himself worth Sawyer's time. "Of course, Sawyer! Should I send Crush after Spyro now?"

Sawyer thought for a moment and felt that would be most appropriate. "That would benefit us." Sawyer's words had Ripto aim his staff up to the sky, and he got ready to teleport as Sawyer stepped away and stated what he would do. "I'm going to look for those power orbs they speak of. They could provide use if the Cheetah speaks the truth." Ripto teleported away with Sawyer setting off to do what he said he would do. He then gave a sadistic grin as he prepared for when he would face Spyro again.

Cynder was powering up the last of the level two cannons, as she'd powered up the first half before she and Elora took their break. When it finished powering up, Elora looked at her device and saw that all of the cannons for level one, and level two, were all powered up. She was satisfied with the progress being made as Spyro got a look at the cannons himself. Elora could tell that he was hyped to see this kind of stuff. "Sawyer and Ripto had better think twice about attacking us after Summer Forest deals with them!"

"You're darn right, they'd better." Cynder responded, being ready for whatever Sawyer and Ripto threw at them. "It doesn't matter what those goons will throw at us. We'll be ready for whatever comes our way."

Elora was glad to see Spyro and Cynder being so efficient, and decided to give them some more context as to what was going on. "Before we keep going, I think you guys should know exactly how Ripto started ruling this place. Or, trying to anyway."

"Just bare with us on this." Hunter chimed in, and then he gave a little more context as to why. "We weren't helping him."

Spyro and Cynder seemed a little confused, and then a flashback was shown with Elora, Hunter, and Professor Pencil in Winter Tundra as they were working on a whole new portal there.

Professor Pencil seemed to have finished the portal, and just needed the coordinates to make it work. "There. That's the last orb in place. Now let's see. All we need are some coordinates!"

"Let ME take a crack at it." Hunter suggested as he took the device and typed some stuff in. "How about 22475? Hehe. That's my birthday."

Elora wasn't so sure about this, and was quick to warn Hunter not to go through with it. "No, Hunter; don't!"

"What?" Hunter pressed the device as he made that reply and activated the portal, surprising Elora and Professor Pencil.

Ripto came through suddenly after Elora turned around and looked at the portal, and as he fell to the ground, he groaned when trying to get up. He then flinched as Crush and Gulp came through and landed on him. "Get off. Get off me, you useless baffoons!" As he got up, he dusted himself off and began to scold Crush and Gulp. "Why can't either of yooo..." Ripto then realized where he was and looked around for a bit as Elora, Hunter, and Professor Pencil looked in shock with Hunter dropping the device. "Where... are we?"

Ripto sniffed for a bit, and then he walked up to Professor Pencil and sniffed him. He became delighted when he failed to smell any dragon scent on him. "Mmm. No dragons? Wonderful." He then looked back to Crush and Gulp with a command. "Crush! Go back and pack my bags! (Looks at the Professor) We're moving in!"

Ripto threw Professor Pickle back with Elora and Hunter catching him. Elora didn't like this and got bad vibes from Ripto as she spoke authoritatively. "Hey; you can't just-"

"Can it!" Ripto shouted, and then he backed up with a menacing grin and cold tone. "Say hello... to your new, King."

Elora had to think quickly, as Professor Pickle couldn't see the controls thanks to his glasses being broken. She looked to Zoe and gave her instructions on what to do. "Tell your friends to get the orbs and spread them throughout Avalar. Hunter and I can get them back."

Crush started hitting the portal like an idiot, giving Zoe and her friends enough time to take the orbs and vanish with them, much to Ripto's anger as the portal shut down. "Nooo! Gulp! Crush! Get the orbs, now!" Crush and Gulp did as they were ordered, though not very efficiently, leaving Ripto to attempt to grab one from Zoe herself. "You despicable little creature! I'll kill you!"

Zoe gave a smug grin as she playfully taunted Ripto, being much stronger than him despite her size. "Yeah; good luck with that."

Elora knew this would be bad news for Avalar, and knew she had to think of something. "This is bad news for Avalar." She turned to Hunter, and while not being upset, she wanted to know why he didn't do anything. "Hunter, why didn't you chase him?"

Hunter had to admit that he was scared in the moment, but he then brought up something that could be helpful. "I was going to, but then I got a look at the big guys and figured I'd get crushed by them." Elora sighed as Hunter then brought up said helpful information. "Although, didn't he say something about not liking dragons?"

Elora gained a look of hope upon hearing that, knowing that there was still a chance for Avalar to be saved. She hi fived Hunter and then looked at Professor Pencil to see what he could do. "Professor! Is there any chance we can make a new portal in Avalar to help us catch a dragon?"

Professor Pencil was confident in that plan working, and knew that making a new portal would be possible. "Yes. Yes; I think so. We'll need a world that has an alignment much better suited to intercepting one of these creatures. How about, Glimmer."

Elora and Hunter liked the sound of that with Elora being ready to execute the plan. "Perfect. Let's head out to save Avalar!"

The flashback ended with Spyro questioning how he and Cynder were able to see all of that. "Did we just watch YOUR flashback?"

Elora looked a little confused about that herself, and Cynder was quick to comment on the situation to avoid further confusion. "So, basically, you guys were trying to open up a portal to some random place, that ended up sending Ripto here, and now you guys are trying to take him down so he doesn't take over all of Avalar?"

"That's the long and short of it, yes." Elora admitted, and then she spoke up about the cannons and what they were going to do. "That's why I had the cannons recharged. With the ones we currently have active, we shouldn't have much of an issue taking out his forces. Or... at least the ones who don't get into the castle."

Spyro was still ready to take Sawyer and Ripto down, and he showed it clearly with his anticipation to fight back. "Well I guess how they got here isn't as important as taking them down. (Punches palm) And you bet I'm ready to roast their butts like a marshmallow in a mouth watering smore!" Cynder couldn't help but laugh a bit at Spyro's comparisson with Elora and Hunter looking at each other confidently, feeling that Spyro and Cynder helping them was improving their odds greatly.

Just then, an explosion was heard from under the castle, leaving the four stunned as Elora pointed out where that was. "That was from underneath the castle! I think I have an idea as to what's going on under there."

"Then let's skip the exposition and get there as fast as possible!" Spyro responded with determination, and Elora nodded before taking out what looked like a cell phone and giving a call to Zoe, knowing that her spells would help the group get there faster than any other method imaginable.

Crush was currently smashing some kind of steel door as Ripto shouted at him to get it taken down faster. "Take it down faster, Crush! Too much time and our efforts will be for nothing!" Crush tried to break through the steel door faster, leaving Ripto to groan in annoyance as he commented on how long this was taking. "Next thing you know, I'll have to find a way to hold off that infernal dragon." Just then, Spyro and the others appeared in the room which, causing Ripto to look behind himself after flinching. He was infuriated when he saw Spyro. "Darn it! You could've at least waited a few more minutes!"

"I could have. I just didn't WANT to." Spyro said confidently, and Ripto glared at him as Cynder then took notice to what they were doing, nodding to Spyro, who nodded back as the two then dove into action. Ripto aimed for Spyro, only for Cynder to use a lightning bolt to halt the orb he shot at him. Spyro then went under the orb and breathed fire at Ripto, who dodged it and ran off with Spyro taunting him as he did. "Ya might as well give up now, shorty! You can't win!"

Ripto stopped in his tracks as he gave a glare to Spyro, refusing to let him win without a fight. "Win, no. Stall for time? Yes! Take him down, Crush!" Crush was now paralized thanks to Cynder, who was using her lightning magic to keep her down. Ripto wasn't upset about this however, and instead taunted Cynder. "Ha! You think that'll keep Crush down for long!?"

"Huh?" Cynder looked to Crush and saw him getting up rather quickly after his paralysis kicked in. She acted as soon as he roared and dodged his club, flying back to evade his swings as Ripto saw the arena as Cynder stood next to Spyro. "Stay back! Unless you wanna see what I can do besides lightning!"

"Oh; he won't have to." Spyro and the others looked back at Ripto, who teleported over to Spyro and Cynder and kicked Spyro aside before teleporting off with Cynder.

Spyro was horrified when he saw this and called out to Cynder after he regained his balance from the kick, with it being rather quick since Ripto wasn't strong very physically. "Cynder!" Spyro and the others then heard maniacal laughter coming from elsewhere in the room and looked around to see where it was.

The room itself had a platform in the shape of a circle, and when the others ran out onto it, they saw Ripto standing by one of the windows, holding Cynder with a rubber rope from his wand. "Don't worry about your little girlfriend, Spyro. She can't hurt me as long as this rope is around her, so I don't have to do anything to her."

Spyro was furious when he saw this and his pin was starting to act up again, which caught the attention of Elora and Hunter. "You expect me to believe that!? Bring her back down here NOW, or I'll break you without a second thought!"

"Oh, but it's not me you'll be fighting." Ripto pointed to Crush, who was revealed to be coming from behind everyone else. "It's him." Crush attempted to smash the others, almost hitting Elora with Hunter pushing her out of the way. She was grateful for this and the two smiled as she thanked him silently with Ripto calling Crush out. "Not them, Crush! The dragon!"

Crush looked down at Spyro, who threw him off with how vicious he looked with Spyro being quick to challenge him. "Come at me!"

Crush looked up at Ripto, who spoke to Spyro as he went over to the other side of the arena with Elora and Hunter getting away from the battle and sitting on the sidelines for it. "Just defeat Crush, and I'll let you have your girlfriend."

"My name is Cynder!" Cynder informed Ripto, who was getting tired of not being referred to by her name. "I mean, you're right about me dating Spyro, but still."

Ripto then shot a firework into the air with his wand, which allowed the battle to commence. "Let the battle begin!"

Spyro instantly went for Crush, dodging his club swing and smacking him hard in the face with his tail. This sent Crush to the ground with Spyro then breathing fire directly at him, hitting him in the stomach and making him burn a little there. He then stood up and attempted to smash Spyro with his club, leaving Spyro to dodge. However, Crush hit the ground so hard with his club that he caused the room to shake, leaving Crush to run as he avoided what was about to fall on top of him. Spyro then used that as a platform and jumped off of it for extra charging speed.

Spyro charged directly into Crush, striking him in the back and causing him to jump in pain. Spyro then breathed fire directly onto him and burned him again, causing Crush to drop his club. Ripto was impressed by what he was seeing. Spyro was absolutely dominating the fight, and he wasn't letting up yet. Once Crush fell to the ground, Spyro hit him in the back of the head as hard as he could, and when his pin started to activate again, Elora took notice and directed Hunter to it. "Hunter, look!"

Hunter looked at Spyro and saw the pin being activated as well. He didn't see why it interested Elora, though. "Okay; so Spyro has something in his forehead that makes him stronger. Isn't that a GOOD thing?"

"I don't know, Hunter." Elora admitted, fearing that this may be more serious than that. "I think it may be more complex than that."

Spyro smashed the club into Crush's chest, causing him to stop in place and breathe heavily with Spyro getting vicious with him. "You'd best fess up, buddy. Is there some kind of treasure back there that caught Ripto's attention?" Crush nodded his head yes in fear, leaving Spyro to sigh as he replied. "Thought so." Spyro then smashed Crush with the club so hard that he fell onto his back and passed out. Spyro wasn't done yet though, and got onto Crush with a death glare, one that scared Elora, Hunter, and Ripto, and alerted Cynder once she got a good look.

Spyro continued to smash Crush's head in, and everyone was shocked as they watched with Spyro getting ready for the final smash as Elora called out to him. "Spyro, stop! He's down!"

"Shut up, Elora!" Spyro snapped, leaving Elora to flinch as Spyro glared back at Crush. "I'm not finished with this barbarian yet." Spyro smashed Crush's head in one more time, and it was so strong, that Crush's head cracked open and his brain rolled out. It was small, but it was enough for Spyro to notice as it came out of his now open skull.

Spyro's pin stopped activating as he looked at what he did, as he was so horrified that he started to lose vision from it. Had he actually killed someone in a gruesome manner such as this? Was their blood really on his claws in such a horrific manner? Could he even say he was himself anymore? His emotions were spiraling out of control, and his pin started reacting to his fear. Ripto didn't care however, and was instead mourning the loss of Crush. "Nooooo! Crush!"

Ripto growled and released Cynder, who was quick to let him know that he would get away with this. "You won't win, Ripto! We'll stop you, and Sawyer!"

"I don't doubt the possibility," Ripto admitted and then he activated his teleporting spell as he informed Cynder of his refusal to let that go down. "but make no mistake. We won't let you defeat us. Especially not like (Points to Spyro) that."

As Ripto teleported away, Cynder raced down to Spyro, who's aura started to activate again with Elora and Hunter getting close. "Spyro!" Spyro's fear started to corrupt him as he even started to be unable to handle it. Cynder did what she thought was best and flew up to him, putting her claws on his shoulders as she spoke to him. "Spyro. Look at me." Spyro was able to muster the strength to look at Cynder, who tried to get through to him. "You're still you. You aren't Sawyer. And despite what happened here... (Smiles) we can get past it. Together."

Even though Cynder's comforting words were somewhat off the top of her head, they seemed to work. As the aura calmed down, Hunter asked what the pin was about. "That worked? But the aura was only up for like, a minute at most."

"I think the pin does whatever it wants." Elora guessed, and then she walked over to Spyro when the aura was completely gone while speaking to Cynder, being genuinely worried about him. "Is he okay?"

Cynder wasn't sure what to say, and she looked at Spyro, who's sight was once again, on Crush's brain, lying on the floor... completely inactive. His look of guilt said it all. He not only killed Crush. He brutalized him. "I did that, Cynder. That was on my claws!" Cynder hugged Spyro, who was still horrified by what he'd done. "This wasn't me defeating a bad guy. (Holds back his tears) This was murder."

Elora saw Spyro trying not to cry as she spoke to him in the softest voice she could. "Spyro." Spyro and Cynder looked to Elora, who climbed up to them with Hunter standing nearby, making sure she was safe as she spoke to Spyro. "I still want to help you and Cynder get home. And I know you still want to help us." Spyro and Cynder nodded with Elora needing one more thing from Spyro. "But before we can help each other... I need to know the truth. All of it."

Spyro didn't even need to ask how Elora knew that. He instead, prepared himself for what was to come, and gave Elora the most sincere look as he could. His voice cracked a bit as he gave his answer. "Okay."

To be continued.

An instrumental version of the main theme played during the credits.
