Spyro: The Hero of Avalar

Ripto arc Episode six: Spyro and Cynder's Efforts

Rock music played and a male voice was heard singing the main theme of the story, Spyro, with Spyro and his friends shown one by one with each guitar string, and the guitar played harder with Spyro dodging Ripto's wand blasts and breathing fire at him. "Spyro! He's a kid and he wants to get home, (Elora is shown to be sneaking around some of Ripto's forces to get a Talisman) and Avalar needs a hero, to beat Ripto's dome. (Hunter is shown to be spinning a Talisman on his finger before being chased by Crush and Gulp) Spyro! With power from his head to his tail, (Moneybags is shown to be shaking his money bag to a clearly annoyed Spyro) he'll be there and evil won't prevail."

Flame, Ember, and Cynder were shown working together to get Spyro back home. "When evil's breaking pace, (Sawyer is shown to be overpowering Ripto) he gets right in it's face, Spyro. (Spyro is shown to be struggling to control the pin in his forehead) When trouble comes for shock, (Spyro shakes the headache off and is then shown flying at Ripto) it's time; let's rock, (Spyro punches Ripto and makes the screen change to him and his friends standing with each other as Spyro: The Hero of Avalar is shown with Spyro standing confidently in front of it, Sparx laying right on top of him, Hunter on the O at the end of Spyro, Elora standing next to Spyro with a smile, Nigel and Melinda walking in next to the word 'Hero' as Cynder kissing Spyro on his right cheek, making him smile) Spyro!"

Spyro was observing the Catbat from before, and he wasn't quite sure what to make of it yet. He knew about cats and bats individually, but he never thought he'd come across a hybrid of the two. As he observed it however, someone poked him from behind and he turned around, showing his teeth as he saw two cavemen behind him. He saw them back up a bit as he did and saw that they weren't a threat, letting his guard down as he spoke to them. "You seem harmless enough. Whatya want?"

"My cousin and I heard about you from Princess Elora. She said she was looking for a dragon the last time she came through here. One who could defeat Ripto." The first cousin explained, and then he held out the Talisman, which was an ancient bone. "We wanna test you to see if you're worthy of this."

The second cousin then explained what they wanted Spyro to do. "If you can get to the other side of Skelos Badlands, then we'll give you the Talisman without hesitation. But if you get too badly harmed to do so along the way, we'll have to save it for another time."

Spyro scoffed, feeling that the cavemen might've been underestimating him. "You clearly don't completely know who I am. (Looks at the nearby shortcut) Take that to wherever you want me to end up, and I'll find you. And then you'll be eating any words you might be saying about me not making it in that moment."

"Okay! Good luck!" The cavemen cousins went through the shortcut and whispered a bet to one another about how this would go down. Once they left, Spyro saw the catbat behind him and punched him in the face when the catbat showed it's fangs and readiness to fire. He then headed off to fulfill his end of the bargin.

Meanwhile, Cynder was walking around Crystal Glacier, looking for the Talisman as she came across a caveman who was trapped in a block of ice. She sighed and breathed fire on the caveman, freeing him as she indicated that this wasn't the first one she's come across. "Another one, huh? They really don't want me to get that Talisman."

The caveman laughed a bit before revealing himself to be the caveman elder of the Crystal Glacier. "As their elder, and ruler, I can confirm that." Cynder was glad to know the leader of this place now, and he showed her an Ice Crystal Talisman. "I take it you're the dragon Elora found to retriever these?" Cynder nodded her head no, but the elder gave her the Talisman anyway. "Regardless, a dragon is a dragon. And you'll make better use of this than me."

"Hey, thanks!" Cynder exclaimed, being grateful for the help as she then told the elder who else she saved. "I saved about three of your people after I got here. If you want, I can help save the rest, and you can relax by going to that hockey game they told me about. Sounds like it could help you during Sawyer and Ripto's reign."

The elder was grateful for that, but he knew he couldn't rest for long. "Thank you, my young friend. I wish to come as well, however. My people need me."

Cynder liked that attitude, and she offered to let the elder hop onto her back as she flew him off to wherever the other cavemen were. "A reasonable thing to want. Hold on tight." The elder suddenly held onto Cynder a little too tight causing her to...

PFFFFFT

...release a three second fart that shot out electricity, shocking a nearby butterfly and leaving a lingering scent of bacon. "Not that tight." Cynder brushed off her fart and flew off after the Elder loosened his grip, leaving Cynder to wonder how Spyro was doing. 'I doubt Spyro's Talisman retrieval mission was THIS easy."

Spyro was braving his way through Skelos Badlands, and he managed to take out a decent amount of enemies there. As he ran through the place, he had already scorched some catbats from the beginning, and rammed some lava toads and lava lizards into the wall before tail slamming one into the ground. He also ran into three fire wizards, who he dodged the attacks of and jumped onto a wall before flying at them. With one tail swipe he was able to knock all of them to the ground. He then gave a confident grin before walking past them, knocking out one guard who tried to scorch him with a back foot kick.

As Spyro continued onward, he saw some vultures in the sky, and one of them came down at him. He decided to have some fun and challenged the vulture as it dove down, jumping up right before it could strike. He then rode on the vulture as it tried to get him off while pulling it's feathers on the back of it's neck. When the vulture tried to ram into a wall to get him off, Spyro jumped off just in time and flew away, flying towards another vulutre on the attack. Spyro however, managed to tail slam him right then and there.

Spyro then flew down to where he saw the cavemen cousins and skidded on the ground, amazing them with how he managed to get out of there unharmed. He then bragged a bit as he held his claw out for the Talisman. "Too easy. Piece of cake!"

The cavemen cousins liked what they saw with the first one giving him the Talisman as he spoke up. "Princess Elora should be save in your claws. Make sure you give that Ripto tyrant a piece of your mind for everyone in Avalar."

"You know I will." Spyro then noticed an orb behind one of the houses and went over to it, picking it up and turning to the cousins to ask about it. "Can I borrow this too?" The cousins nodded their heads yes, making Spyro glad as he put it away in his guidebook, along with the Ancient Bone Talisman, "Thanks." and then he headed back to Autumn Plains through the nearby portal.

Cynder was still flying around Crystal Glacier, and as she was looking for more Cavemen to unfreeze, she saw what looked like a big snow monster nearby. She figured that was what Sawyer and Ripto were using to take down the cavemen, and she let the elder know to be careful. "Hold on tight." The elder did so, making sure not to squeeze too tightly again, and Cynder then flew down at high speeds. She then launched a lightning ball at the snow monster, stunning him before getting ready to finish him off. "Hey, Frosty! Try freezing THIS one!"

Cynder breathed fire onto the snow monster and caused him to start melting, much to his horror as he cried out in pain. Once Cynder was done, the Elder got off of her back as she expressed joy at what just happened. "That was easy. And I didn't fart from that last squeeze."

The elder smiled as he put an appreciative palm on Cynder's shoulder with the nearby cavemen cheering as he spoke up. "Thank you, Cynder. Even if you're not the dragon Elora sought out help from, I speak for all of us when I say your help is most appreciated."

Cynder was glad to have been of service, and also was glad to have gotten the Talisman before her duties were done. "My pleasure." Cynder then thought about Spyro and felt that she could get him some more power for the final battle. She hoped it wouldn't hurt to ask if they had any orbs lying around. "Say; you wouldn't happen to have any orbs I could use, would you? Spyro, my boyfriend, and the dragon Elora DID seek help from, could really use it for the battle"

"But of course!" The elder exclaimed, and then he held out an orb after pulling it out from his pocket, allowing Cynder to have it with full trust in her.

Cynder smiled upon receiving this and was grateful for the help. "Thanks, Ice Caveman Elder. We won't let you down!" The elder nodded in response to that, and Cynder made her way to the exit portal, excited to let Spyro know about the progress she made for him.

Sawyer was getting a look at the locations of Autumn Plains while also adopting Ripto's teleportation spell from his staff. As he observed the locations, he tried to think of a good place to distract Spyro and Cynder so he could get the next Talisman. He then saw a world called Metro Speedway, which he felt would suffice, since there was no Talisman there. "You will send some of your minions to invade Metro Speedway. Then, we will go to the next world we can get a Talisman from."

"Of course, Sawyer." Ripto assured Sawyer, but then he showed concern about the progress Spyro and Cynder were making. "I think this spell transfer is taking kind of a long time, though. Not that it won't help us, but in the time we've been transferring it, Spyro and Cynder found two more Talismans! We'd better act fast to catch the next one before they can find it."

"Precisely, Ripto. That's why we're going to distract them." Sawyer informed Ripto, and then he went into detail as to what his plan was. "Spyro may be getting closer to falling victim to the pin I gave him back in Magic Crafters, but he still has a pure heart. When he senses danger in another place, or hears of it, I believe he'll jump into action and help in any way he can. That will give us more time to retrieve more Talismans."

Ripto liked the sound of that, feeling that it would help him and Sawyer immensely in the long run. "That's brilliant! And here I was thinking you were all brawn and no brain."

Ripto laughed a little more with Sawyer not being too offended by the joke, showing that he could handle jabs at him at the very least. "Well, now that I have knowledge on Avalar, and know of the locations we can go to in Autumn Plains, my intelligence will be much more useful." Sawyer finished transferring the spell and got ready to go to Breeze Harbor as he gave Ripto his orders. "Start causing as much having as you can in Metro Speedway. That should keep Spyro off our tracks." Ripto nodded and teleported to Metro Speedway at the same time Sawyer teleported, ready to fulfill his part of the plan.

Spyro and Cynder were talking about how easy it was to get the Talismans with Spyro being impressed with how Cynder did in her world. "They just gave it to you!? Wow; you got lucky! I mean, so did I, but you sure hit the jackpot there!"

"I mean, I did have to save the elder's life from an ice block, but yeah. It was easy." Cynder responded, being glad that they now had six of the fourteen Talismans. "And now we're two Talismans closer to being able to take out Sawyer and Ripto. And if possible, I'll trap them in my lightning powers and force them to fix that pin you have there."

Spyro smiled in response to that with Elora coming in from the other room to let them know of her progress with something. "You don't have to! I found most of what we need for the cure for that in the Summer Forest castle."

Spyro and Cynder looked at each other with glee with Elora smiling in response to their hopeful looks before Cynder commented on how easy it was. "I've been wanting to get around to this for days! How did you find the ingredients you needed for it so fast!?"

"Like I said. They were in the Summer Forest Castle." Elora repeated, and then she let them know what the last thing she needed for it was. "The last thing I need is really hard to get, though. I need snow from Winter Tundra, and that's where Ripto came along and took over."

Spyro expressed annoyance at the last item being a challenge to get, especially since he knew how MUCH of a challenge it would be. "I knew there was a catch."

"Just a small handful will do, Spyro." Elora informed Spyro, making him more relieved that it wasn't as big of a hindrance as he'd thought. "I'll head there later myself and try to get the snow for the potion. If I'm quick about it, I should be able to make it an in and out mission."

"Just be careful, Elora." Spyro informed Elora, knowing that he couldn't come with her due to needing to find the Talismans. "Sawyer isn't gonna hesitate as easily as Ripto when it comes to hurting you."

Elora nodded in response and then got a call, making her concerned as she answered her phone. "Yeah, dad?" Elora then gained a fearful look as she heard what her father had to say. "They did what!?"

Spyro, Cynder, and Elora found themselves in the Autumn Plains castle throne room as Hunter's parents explained what they found. "It seems Metro Speedway is at a big risk of being destroyed as we speak. They haven't done much yet, but we fear it will get much worse if we don't act fast."

Spyro knew that they had to find the Talismans, but he also knew that he couldn't leave the people of Metro Speedway hanging. He looked at Cynder as he told her the plan. "No time to debate over this, Cynder. I'll take care of Metro Speedway. You focus on getting the next Talisman."

Cynder liked the sound of that. Mostly because it showed that Spyro was still pure hearted. "Sounds good to me. Just be careful."

"I'll do my best." Spyro responded, and Elora smiled to him as she noticed how he was willing to help the residents of Metro Speedway without hesitation. She only hoped she could get the potion finished in time to successfully stop Spyro's pin from taking full effect of his mind.

Moneybags was waiting by the portal to Metro Speedway as he spoke to someone over the phone and was seemingly frustrated about it. "Yes, I know I'm late on my child support, Greed-Parcel, you don't have to remind me for the third time this week!" Spyro was going over to the portal as he overheard Moneybags conversation and got curious. "I know Capital wants to see me. I want to see him too." Spyro got what this was about and was starting to feel awkward listening to it. "I just don't have enough money for a trip to where you two ended up moving to right now."

The argument continued with Moneybags being so upset that he failed to notice Spyro right behind him. "This is one of the reasons we divorced! You never considered MY perspective when we were struggling! It was always YOUR desires!" Moneybags allowed his ex-wife to speak a little longer, only to then end the conversation on his own accord. "Don't you think I feel bad enough as it is? I had to lie to the dragon Elora trusted in the hopes he could give me the money I need."

Spyro flinched upon hearing that part, and let Moneybags finish what he was saying before he intervened. "I hate to do anything that would classify as playing the victim card, but if you were more helpful in my situation and not constantly whining about child support and not being able to see Capital, I wouldn't have to do what I'm doing now!" Moneybags hung up and sighed with remorse. The one thing he hated most was letting his son down. He didn't know what to do.

Spyro then spoke up, startling Moneybags as he heard his voice. "So is it safe to assume you're done with your domestic dispute?"

Moneybags turned around and saw Spyro giving him a deadpan look as he apologized for what he'd just heard. "I'm sorry you had to hear that, Spyro." Moneybags then realized that Spyro might've heard the end of that conversation and hoped he was wrong. "How much DID you hear exactly?"

"Only enough to know that you miss your son and that you're not actually helping Elora and her parents save Avalar." Spyro confirmed bluntly, leaving Moneybags to gulp as Spyro then emphasized with Moneybags, hoping that he could convince him to get more help with this. "Why don't you just ask Elora for help? She's the sweetest thing I've seen since I got here and I think she'd be more than willing to help."

"She's got enough on her plate as it is." Moneybags responded, explaining to Spyro why he didn't want to ask Elora for help with this. "Between her working to save Avalar and from what I heard from Hunter, that pin that's taking you from yourself, it wouldn't be fair of me to ask her." Moneybags then took the time to tell Spyro how he knew that last part. "Hunter isn't a very good secret keeper."

Spyro took note of that as he then let Moneybags know what he thought about Elora so far, despite having not knowing her for so long. "Listen, dude. I get what you're saying. Elora's obviously got a lot on her shoulder right now, and maybe you're right about this being a bad time." Spyro went over to Moneybags and held out some gems for him, putting them in his sack. Moneybags couldn't help but be surprised by the generosity. "I haven't known her long, but if you still need help after Sawyer and Ripto get taken down, I know she'll be more than happy to help you then."

Moneybags was touched by this offer and smiled down to Spyro with gratitude. Spyro did so in response, being glad that he could help Moneybags see his kid. "Thank you, Spyro. My sincerest apologies for the deception." Spyro shrugged in response with Moneybags then asking why he helped him with his money troubles. "However, I fail to understand your motivations. I haven't even charged you yet."

"I know what it's like to be separated from those you care about most." Spyro admitted, revealing to Moneybags that he emphasized with his struggle. "No one deserves that." Moneybags was astonished to hear that as Spyro then gestured the portal. "Now that you mention it, though, I do have to get to Metro Speedway. Sawyer and Ripto started attacking that place and I don't know how long it'll take for me to get it done."

"They are!?" Moneybags happily opened the portal, and then said something that surprised Spyro. "Believe it or not, I would've let you go through for free under that circumstance!" Spyro smiled in response and went through the portal, glad he learned that there was more to Moneybags than meets the eye.

Meanwhile, Sawyer was searching around Breeze Harbor in search of the next Talisman he needed. As he was searching around, he found a nearby trolley and landed on the platform near it to see who he could get information from. A pelican nearby in an army outfit then caught his attention. "Hey, buddy! Over here for a sec!" Sawyer was already annoyed and went over to the pelican, who snickered a bit as he spoke up. "So I'm thinking that whenever someone fails the trolley ride, I could go 'Trouble with the trolley, eh?' just to make them mad. Whatya think?"

The pelican laughed in response to his cruel joke as Sawyer then tail smacked him into the wall and pinned him there before he started threatening him. "What I think, is that you will tell me who I should go to for the Talisman held in this world. And don't try lying to me either. I know it's here." The pelican started gasping for breath as Sawyer put him down with the black scaled dragon glaring into the pelican's eyes. "Tell me now, or I shall declare your life over in seconds!"

"Beaky! The leader of the Breezebuilders!" The pelican exclaimed in fear, and then he pointed to the ship he was on as he explained what they were doing. "He's on that war ship over there! We've been at war with the Landbubblers for years, and he's been leading us and keeping hold the Talisman!"

Sawyer was glad to get the information he needed, and he smiled sadistically to the pelican as he held a claw up to his neck. "Thank you. Now die." The pelican looked horrified as Sawyer scratched his throat with his claws and ripped out the cord he ripped that killed him. He then flew off and went over to the ship with the Talisman on it. "Is General Beaky on this ship!?"

Beaky heard his name being called and walked over to Sawyer, demanding to know what he was doing on his ship. "A dragon, eh? Well you'd better have a reasonable excuse for being on my ship! We were just about to attack the Landbubblers!"

Sawyer started choking Beaky with his powers as he then got down to business. He made absolutely sure that Beaky got a viewing of his ice cold, frightening glare as he did. "My reason is that I want your Talisman; and if you wish to live, you will hand it over regardless of what your troop thinks about it." Beaky couldn't help but look in horror, but he still did what he could to protect the Talisman, which was revealed to be a glass anchor on his vest. Sawyer then got ready to get what he desired, and his expression of pure evil proved what he was about to do.

"Suit yourself."

Back in the Dragon Realms, Flame and Ember were currently helping Lindar with the repairs of the portal. Flame was currently snickering at a conversation he and Ember were having in regards to what happened earlier that morning. "So you didn't even realize you were still on the call? How does THAT work? Your phone was right next to you."

"Believe me; if I could explain it, I would." Ember assured Flame, knowing glad that he was okay with what happened earlier that morning. "Thank God it wasn't someone else I was on the phone with. And if my Mom heard that she would've flipped out."

"She really needs to lighten up." Flame admitted, having a good chunk of memories about Ember's mom. "Remember that time she stopped your last birthday party early because Spyro farted in the pool?" Ember nodded her head yes as she groaned in response to that day. "Good thing Spyro and I brought that boombox so we could all leave in style." Flame laughed a bit, and as he put another gear into place, he got a text from Spyro. He checked it, and he knew he had to show it to Ember, which he instantly did. "Check it out, Ember!"

The text was revealed to be a photo of Spyro giving a peace sign with a gnorc slammed into a wall behind him. She smiled upon seeing this; both because Spyro was having a good time, and because she knew he was okay. "Even in a new place, he'll never change." Flame put his palm up, and Ember happily accepted the hi five when they got back to work. She just knew Spyro and Cynder were gonna have a lot to talk about when they got back to the Artisan home.

Cynder was currently in Zephyr as one of the Land Blubbers was explaining to her what she needed to do for the Talisman. "So if you help us take out the Breeze Harbor birds up there, we'll give you the Talisman! Sound like a deal?"

Cynder wasn't entirely sure if she was willing to get involved in someone else's war to save the world. Not just because it wasn't her business, but also because she was killing innocent lives. "Do I really have to get involved in YOUR war to get the Talisman? Why not just give it to me so I can help my boyfriend kill Ripto and save us all the trouble?"

"War is all about trouble, ma'am." The Land Blubber informed Cynder, who was still skeptical about the situation. "Part of this life is all about trouble."

Cynder was about to retort, only to find a much better one as she pointed out something in the sky that made her look in horror. "Just try not to blame them for that."

The Land Blubber looked up in confusion and became horrified when he saw the Breeze Harbor ship crashing down at them. "What the heck happened there!? We haven't even attacked yet!" The Land Bubbler called to his leader with Cynder running off as he quickly moved after her the best he could. "General! General! A Breeze Harbor ship got shot down by something else!" Cynder realized how slow the Land Bubbler was going and picked him up so she could take him to base. "Thank you, ma'am. (In his walkie talkie) Get your defenses ready now!"

Spyro was taking down the last of the Riptocs in Metro Speedway by knocking them out with a tail smash. He laughed at the sight of the last Riptoc with one of the resident pigeons flying down to him to thank him for his services. "Thank you for your help, Spyro. Things would've been much worse if not for you."

"I try. And look awesome when doing it." Spyro proudly boasted, and then he got a call from Cynder, wondering what she would need as he answered. "Yeah, Cynder? Did you manage to find the Zephyr Talisman?"

"Um... not exactly." Cynder answered, and then she kept helping some of the residents of Zephyr get to safety with Spyro hearing it all. "Get inside, quick! Leave the fighting to me!" Spyro was concerned when he heard that, and Cynder quickly explained what was going on. "I saw Sawyer with the Talisman from Breeze Harbor in his claw, and he also killed their leader. I asked, and they said Sawyer made the ship crash into Zephyr, killing some of the residents from both areas."

Spyro was horrified and furious when he heard this, gaining a dark purple aura as he responded. His anger at what Sawyer did was made clear as he responded with pure fury, which caught Cynder off guard. "He did what!?"

Spyro quickly calmed down to avoid smashing his phone or scaring the nearby pigeon as Cynder finished. "Finish up what you're doing in Metro Speedway and meet me down here! I'll be fighting back as soon as I get everyone to safety, and I already lost to Sawyer once!"

"I'm on it!" Spyro hung up and quickly explained to the pigeon where he had to go. "Sorry, dude; I gotta fly. Official world saving business."

"You've done all you need to. Good luck!" Spyro flew off with the pigeon going in his own direction, hoping he wasn't to late to help Cynder stop Sawyer from doing too much damage. The look of horror on his face pretty much spelt out how worried he was about the situation.

Spyro arrived in Zephyr in the hopes that he wasn't late in helping Cynder stop Sawyer's current attack. When he got a good look at what the state of Zephyr was like, he was horrified. There was a Breeze Harbor ship crashed straight into the ground, and a good chunk of the area was destroyed. Cynder, thankfully, managed to save most of the residents there, but a couple of soldiers were killed, and when Cynder came out from her hiding spot, Spyro ran over to her. "Cynder!" When Spyro ran up to Cynder, the two of them embraced before they discussed what happened.

Cynder felt awful for what she witnessed today, and Spyro could see that, hoping she was okay after what happened. "Talk to me, baby. What are you feeling? Are you hurt? Do you need to take a break from hunting down the Talismans?"

"I'm as scared as you, I'm fine physically, and no." Cynder assured Spyro, being determined to put a stop to Ritpo and Sawyer's reign of terror once and for all. "I'm not gonna let my emotions stop me from taking Sawyer and Ripto down."

Spyro was glad to see Cynder's determination, but he still wanted to make sure she was going to be okay. "If you say so. Just let me know if it starts to become too much for you."

Cynder nodded in response, and the leader of the army came over from the corner and took out a Ruby Bomb Talisman. "I know I had my soldier tell you to help us before we gave you this, ma'am, but I think this is a sign you need it more than us." Cynder was glad to hear that and nodded to Spyro, who smiled as he held out the guidebook. The army leader put the Talisman in and hoped for the best with the two dragons. "I hope you two can make it out of this alive. And that those menaces are stopped."

Spyro and Cynder knew what had to be done, but just before they could leave, they heard something emerging from the ship's rubble. When he did, Spyro caught sight of the Anchor Talisman on his chest, revealing that he'd made a necklace out of it. Sawyer gave a devilishly evil grin to Spyro and Cynder, hoping he didn't miss too much of what was going on. "I hope I didn't miss the blood bath." Spyro started fuming when he saw Sawyer, which Sawyer was more than happy to comment on. "Here we go again. Just don't expect me to hold anything back."

Spyro gained a dark purple aura and pushed everyone back gently with his power, shocking everyone except for Sawyer. As Spyro glared at Sawyer, his fury was shown clear as day. Sawyer was impressed with how much power he sensed from Spyro, but he was even more amazed when the purple dragon spoke in a cold, ruthless, and incredibly violent voice "You won't win, Sawyer. I won't let you win! I'll NEVER let you win! I'll kill you with my own two claws! You hear me!? I'll kill you!"

Spyro dashed at Sawyer, who was amazed by the power he was showing as he held him back, only for Spyro to this time, punch him in the face. Sawyer didn't get sent back, but he did have to admit that he was slightly harmed from Spyro's punch. He turned to Spyro and got serious as he looked into his eyes. "That actually hurt a little, Spyro. You've gotten stronger." Sawyer knocked Spyro back with Cynder catching him as Spyro tried to charge at him again. "Good luck, Spyro. Even with as much of it as you can muster, you have no chance at defeating me."

Sawyer laughed evilly as he teleported off with the Talisman, which Spyro failed to grab due to his immense anger. Cynder was able to calm him down by rubbing his shoulders, but he still had his fists clenched as he thought about what Sawyer did to this place. He was unable to believe that he was actually related to such an evil creature. He was already prepared to take Sawyer down thanks to the lives he was taking, but now he was even more determined to do so.

And no one was going to stop him.

Elora was getting ready to go and get the Winter Tundra snow she needed with Spyro and Cynder entering the throne room, where she and the others were. They instantly noticed how distraught they both looked, and Elora was quick to ask if they were okay. "Are you guys okay?"

"Define 'okay'." Spyro requested, and he then explained the situation when he and Cynder went over to the others. "Sawyer took out a Breeze Harbor ship and caused it to land into Zephyr, killing some of the soldiers in the area it destroyed."

Everyone was shocked to hear this with Elora quickly asking about the remaining survivors. "What about the citizens? Are they all safe?"

"I was able to get them to safety before the ship crashed." Cynder assured Elora, who was relieved to hear that as Cynder then elaborated on what happened. "Sawyer also had his claws on the Breeze Harbor Talisman, so he has three so far. We were thankful enough that the Zephyr army leader was generous enough to give us his Talisman."

Hunter then asked about Ripto, feeling that he had to have been seen as well. "Did you guys see Ripto?"

"Not yet." Spyro admitted, and then he looked at the group with determination in his eyes as he spoke up about what happened. "And after what I saw in Zephyr, you bet I'm gonna give it everything I have to take him and Sawyer down. I can't let Sawyer being my brother get in the way of doing what's right. And in this case, it's defending this land." Spyro's next words really struck a cord with everyone. "Forget the portal for now. I'm gonna save Avalar; no matter what." Elora gave a grateful smile when she heard that. Her point about Spyro being able to save them was only further proven with that alone.

To be continued.

An instrumental version of the main theme played during the credits.
