Spyro: The Hero of Avalar

Ripto arc Episode nine: Winter Tundra

Rock music played and a male voice was heard singing the main theme of the story, Spyro, with Spyro and his friends shown one by one with each guitar string, and the guitar played harder with Spyro dodging Ripto's wand blasts and breathing fire at him. "Spyro! He's a kid and he wants to get home, (Elora is shown to be sneaking around some of Ripto's forces to get a Talisman) and Avalar needs a hero, to beat Ripto's dome. (Hunter is shown to be spinning a Talisman on his finger before being chased by Crush and Gulp) Spyro! With power from his head to his tail, (Moneybags is shown to be shaking his money bag to a clearly annoyed Spyro) he'll be there and evil won't prevail."

Flame, Ember, and Cynder were shown working together to get Spyro back home. "When evil's breaking pace, (Sawyer is shown to be overpowering Ripto) he gets right in it's face, Spyro. (Spyro is shown to be struggling to control the pin in his forehead) When trouble comes for shock, (Spyro shakes the headache off and is then shown flying at Ripto) it's time; let's rock, (Spyro punches Ripto and makes the screen change to him and his friends standing with each other as Spyro: The Hero of Avalar is shown with Spyro standing confidently in front of it, Sparx laying right on top of him, Hunter on the O at the end of Spyro, Elora standing next to Spyro with a smile, Nigel and Melinda walking in next to the word 'Hero' as Cynder kissing Spyro on his right cheek, making him smile) Spyro!"

Ripto was holding an unconscious Spyro on the ground with a cold powered gem from his wand as Sawyer held Cynder in a headlock from above. Ripto was getting ready to kill Spyro, and Sawyer was willing to strike a deal with Cynder to let him live. "You can spare him with little to no trouble, Cynder." Cynder's eyes darted up to Sawyer, who could tell she was struggling to cooperate in the way he wanted. "If you wish to save Spyro... then you will hand over the last Talisman."

Cynder looked down at Spyro with Ripto continuing to charge his blast, and Cynder tried charging her magic, only for Sawyer to hold her more tightly as Ripto spoke up. "Don't even think about lying to us either! If it was still in Shady Oasis, my minions would have found it by now!"

Sawyer could feel the fear soaring through Cynder's veins and held his claws up to her neck as he got ready to finish her off. As this was happening however, Spyro started to wake up with Ripto holding him down with his staff. As he saw what happened, he was in full earshot of Sawyer's threat to Cynder. "It's a simple choice, Cynder. You give us the Talisman, and save Spyro..." The next words that came out of Sawyer's mouth struck a nerve in Spyro's mind. "Or we kill you both without a second thought."

The inside of Spyro's mind was shown with a line snapping as a dark purple aura surrounded the purple dragon. Ripto was shocked by this and tried to launch the blast onto him and destroy his mind, only for Spyro to knock the want upward with his elbow and send it towards Sawyer. Once Sawyer used Cynder as a shield, Spyro then dashed into action, flying in between the blast and Cynder and preventing the collision. Spyro crushed the blast with his bare claws and then gazed at Sawyer, who he then saw holding Cynder at the neck, causing him to gain a look of horror.

Spyro found himself unable to continue fighting, knowing that Sawyer would killed Cynder if he did. He was unable to think of another solution. He didn't want to endanger Avalar, but he also didn't want to lose his girlfriend. He clenched his fists as he slowly, but surely, changed back to his normal color. It appeared that his love for Cynder was stronger than the pin. Sawyer seemed disappointed, especially when Spyro nodded to Cynder, who reluctantly took out the Talisman. "What a shame. You have more of your conscience left than I'd hoped."

Sawyer released Cynder and allowed Spyro to descend to the ground with her before flying down to Ripto. He also seemed disappointed in Ripto's fialure to take Spyro out, since he was right atop of him when he broke out. "The next time you have him that close to death, Ripto, you will take the chance to kill him, and succeed."

Ripto nodded in response as Spyro then spoke confidently to Sawyer, refusing to let him win this battle. "Don't think this is over, Sawyer! You may have all fourteen Talismans now, but I'm not gonna let you win no matter how strong your chances are now!"

Elora then took the time to speak up as she hopped down, hoping that somehow, she could get through to Sawyer. This did surprise everyone else however, and it worried Nigel and Melinda especially. Meanwhile, Sparx was getting ready to go through with the plan Elora told him about earlier. "I don't understand, Sawyer. You're Spyro's own flesh and blood. What could have made you so cold and ruthless compared to him?"

Sawyer gazed at Spyro, unfazed by Elora's words, as well as Spyro's look of determination. He couldn't help but grin evilly while chuckling coldly at the thought. And as he responded to what Elora, he couldn't help but keep his grin. "Oh, Elora. If only you knew how accurate that 'flesh and blood' part actually was." Sawyer and Ripto vanished with Spyro and everyone else being confused by that claim. As Spyro looked at his palms, he couldn't help but question it. What could Sawyer have meant by it? What he could have possibly been saying from that sentence alone?

And no one noticed Sparx sneaking up to the villains as they left.

Sawyer and Ripto were back in Winter Tundra, unaware of Sparx presence as he stayed out of their sight by hiding in Ripto's coat hood. Sparx made absolute sure to stay out of sight, and when he saw the stone they were keeping the Talismans in, he knew he had to act quickly. He waited patiently as Sawyer put the barrier down, and watched as Sawyer put the last Talisman in. He dashed in and managed to get behind the boulder just before Sawyer put the barrier back up. Somehow, he was small enough to avoid being detected by either Sawyer, or Ripto.

Sawyer then looked to Ripto, making sure to let him know that his plan wasn't put on hold yet. "And now, we wait." Though, he probably already figured that out by now. As Sawyer and Ripto went to get prepared for when Spyro and the others arrived, Sparx inspected the slots the Talismans were in to find a decent opening. He couldn't find any that looked as if they had a flawed seal. This caused Sparx to give an annoyed look, but had to admit; Sawyer really thought this through.

None of the Talismans were even slightly loose either, which meant this job was harder for Sparx than it looked. Still, he knew Elora gave this request to him because he was the only creature involved who was small enough to sneak in undetected. He only had one method of what he could do, so he slid his wing right into the crack of the seal. He could barely fit it in, and even then, he had to bend it a little to get a grip on the Talisman. This was the Talisman from Glimmer, and he did his best to get it out in time. He couldn't help panicking when the stone slowly started shining however.

Sawyer was discussing the next part of his plan with Ripto, and both were facing away from the barrier, unaware that Sparx was inside of it at the time. Sparx was barely able to take the Talisman out with all of his strength, and he quickly moved to behind the stone so he wouldn't be caught. This was when Sawyer and Ripto turned around, and they went over to see what was going on as Ripto spoke up. "Forgive my questioning, Sawyer, but you didn't specify how long it would take to finish."

"I didn't feel the need to since we had everything under control well enough to put it on hold." Sawyer responded, and he inspected the stone and found that one of the Talismans was missing. He took the barrier down and flew up to inspect it, and the spot he arrived at was the spot that originally held the Talisman from Glimmer. He gained an incredibly suspicious look, knowing that the Talisman couldn't have just vanished into thin air. Sparx made absolute sure to descend quietly, and as he did, he sped down the edge of the castle as he reached the bottom of the stone.

As Sparx rushed down however, Ripto caught a glimpse of him and alerted what he saw to Sawyer. "Sawyer!" Sawyer looked to Ripto, who told him what he just witnessed. "I think I might've just seen Spyro's dragonfly friend rush down the wall of the castle! He might have something to do with the Talisman disappearing!"

Sawyer descended to Ripto, putting the barrier back up and being determined to get the Talisman back. "Somehow... that's the only thing that makes sense." Sparx was hiding at the wall of the castle as he looked for what would look like a good hiding place. Fear was shown in his expression as he tried to figure out what to do. "Get yourself ready, Ripto. This is about to get much more personal for Spyro and his friends." Sparx found a good hiding spot from afar and dashed over to it, making sure to stay out of sight from the minions roaming around the area as he did.

Spyro and everyone else were currently in the Autumn Plains throne room as they discussed what happened with the last Talisman. Spyro felt awful for what happened, as he knew that him hesitating was a huge part in the last Talisman being taken. "As soon as he threatened me with Cynder, I just... froze." Cynder placed a palm on Spyro's shoulder to comfort him as he continued. "I'm sorry. The last thing I wanted to do is endanger you. Even so... I couldn't risk hurting Cynder."

Nigel was first to speak in response to what Spyro just said, having a new layer of respect for him after seeing what he did earlier. "You showed compassion for your significant other that overshadowed everything else when it was her safety, or your goal." Spyro looked up at Nigel, surprised by his compassionate tone as Nigel then smiled in response to what Spyro did. "We will find a way to save Avalar, even with this setback."

Spyro was glad to hear that from Nigel, hoping that it wouldn't be too hard to make things right with Avalar. Elora then took the opportunity to bring something else up that she felt could lift everyone's spirits. "Actually, we may not have to worry about Sawyer and Ripto's plans for the Talismans. At least not yet." Spyro and the others looked at Elora, who explained what she told Sparx right before the battle with Ripto and Gulp. "I knew Sparx was the only one small enough to guarantee sneaking around the whole castle undetected. So I sent him to stall their plans."

Spyro was impressed with that plan and couldn't help but feel psyched from it. He just knew that Sparx wouldn't let him and the others down. "Alright! Go, Sparx and Elora!"

Spyro hi fived Elora, and then Cynder gained a look of concern, since Sparx was in fact a small and delicate creature. "Let's hope he's able to find a good hiding place before we find him. Dragonflies don't look like they'd be able to take a lot of hits before going down."

"Don't forget that this is MY dragonfly we're talking about, Cynder." Spyro reminded Cynder, being confident that Sparx would be able to avoid Sawyer and Ripto no problem. "I can personally assure you that Sparx has adapted my keen sense of observation when it comes to battle, missions, or anything important."

"Says the dreamboat who was just expressing regret over losing the last of the Talismans." Cynder teased playfully, and Spyro growled flirtatiously as he allowed Cynder to nuzzle his cheek. "You're right, though. Sparx has to have been observing you since the two of you became a team."

Archer then brought up another idea they could try once they actually started looking in Winter Tundra. "And Winter Tundra is littered with power orbs. We could use those to give Spyro enough power to at least hold back the power of the Talismans."

Everyone seemed to like the sound of that with Elora then questioning how many orbs they would need for that to work. "That could work, Archer, but even with someone as skilled as Spyro, how many orbs exactly would it take to withstand the power of all fourteen Talismans?"

"I'd say at least forty." Archer guessed, having to admit that he didn't know the exact line between the power of an orb and a Talisman. "But that's just a wild guess, so let's get more than that to be extra sure." Archer put a paw on Hunter's shoulder as he thought about where they would go first. "And we'll be sure to stay out of sight from as many riptocs as possible with the area we search."

"Hehe. Yeah. That's a guarantee." Hunter assured the others, and everyone seemed to be ready as a question re-entered Spyro's mind. What was going to happen to him regarding his pin?

Spyro and the others had just finished dinner with Spyro having finished four helpings of chicken. After he finished gobbling it all up, he patted his belly and commented on how much he loved food. "Okay, real talk. When I get older, or whenever I can, I'm totally learning how to cook. I love food too much to ever be apart from it for too long."

Cynder and Elora couldn't help laughing at how big Spyro's appetite is with Elora making him an offer. "If you're up for it, Spyro, I can definitely see myself giving you lessons if you decide to come back to Avalar for a visit." Spyro loved the sound of that, and he couldn't help drooling a bit. He then stopped himself when he noticed so he didn't make a mess as Elora smiled, having a feeling as to what that meant. "I'll take that as a yes."

Spyro, Cynder, and Elora went into the kids bedrooms in Autumn Plains, and it was shown to be quite the luxurious one indeed. It not only had a flat screen TV, but the beds were designer and the view of the Kingdom was great. Spyro instantly called the window view bed so he could see the outside when he woke up. "dibs on this bed!"

Cynder then climbed into bed with him, much to his delight as she started gently scratching his chest with her right finger. "You'd better be thinking of me when you look at a view this great."

Elora sat down in the bed next to Spyro and Elora's before reminding them of the plan for taking on Winter Tundra. "Remember, you guys. Tomorrow, we're all taking out own locations in Winter Tundra. We'll have to decide carefully too, as the layouts are all different, and they could be littered with riptocs."

Spyro and Cynder were both ready for what Winter Tundra had in store for them with Spyro happily expressing his confidence. "Throw as many of them at me as you can and I'll wipe them all out in seconds!" Elora was glad to hear that, and she knew Cynder was confident as well. Now all they needed was a good nights sleep to be ready for tomorrow. Well... after dessert for those who want it.

Spyro, Cynder, and Elora were sound asleep in their room with Spyro and Cynder shown to be snuggling with one another in their bed. The two were incredibly cozy and were having the best time of their nights just sleeping in each other's arms. Elora was also cozy in her blanket, seeming to be having a good dream. Even if she didn't have a snuggle partner like Spyro and Cynder do, she was glad to be in a comfy bed before the big moment came. However, as cozy as Elora was, her rear end was then shown pointed in the direction of Spyro and Cynder's bed as...

PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT

...a loud and bassy ten second fart that reeked of rotten eggs left Elora's vibrating butt and hit Spyro and Cynder. Spyro smelt the fart and tried to resist, while Cynder was woken up by how bad it smelt. She wasn't sure if it were Spyro or Elora who did it, since she didn't feel any gas leaving her body, and knew it couldn't have been her. She then got introduced to another one however, as Spyro, who the fart didn't wake up anywhere near as easily, ended up letting out...

PHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHT

...a loud and bassy fifteen second fart, one that was even bigger nastier than Elora's and made Cynder flinch upon the sound and gag upon the smell. She went out of the room after opening a window and decided to wait for the noxious fumes to die down. Once she coughed and gasped for breath for a bit, she went to the kitchen to get some water. "So now I'm sleeping with TWO gasbags again. Good to know." Cynder went into the kitchen and saw Hunter in there drinking a soda while sitting down by the counter, surprising her a bit. "Hunter? Why're YOU up so late?"

Hunter saw Cynder walking over to the fridge and was glad it wasn't whoever he was hoping wouldn't see him. "Oh; hey, Cynder. Not much going on here, just needed a moment to myself."

"Archer a room clearer too?" Cynder asked, and Hunter nodded his head no after laughing a bit. This led to Cynder sitting down next to him after getting her bottle of water. She felt it wouldn't hurt to ask Hunter what's wrong. "Something on your mind?"

Hunter nodded his head yes, and hoped that Cynder would mind him talking about it with her. "I've just been thinking about what we'll do after we stop Sawyer and Ripto. Elora's gotta be planning something big for when Avalar's safe and sound, and I have no idea." Cynder had a feeling she could emphasize with Hunter there. It wasn't until she met Spyro when she started making her own calls in life. "I'm glad my parents were fine with me not taking over the throne, but I still haven't figured out what I want to do after we've saved Avalar."

Cynder thought about how Hunter could find what he wanted to do and felt she had some advice that would work for him. "Well... why not just start somewhere you feel comfortable with?" Hunter looked at Cynder, who was being genuine with her advice as she explained what she meant. "Maybe before you find out what you REALLY wanna do, why not start small? Like finding something to do around Avalar that could contribute to one of the royal castles?"

Hunter felt that sounded ideal. He and Elora did talk about that before after all. "That sounds like something Elora said to me one time. Before we started working to summon a dragon here." Cynder smiled at the fact that she was able to further help Hunter with his struggles "Yeah, that could work." ...before wheezing a bit and chugging down her water bottle. No way was it healthy for anyone to handle gas fumes like that for an extended period of time.

Sawyer and Ripto were currently watching over Spyro and the others through Sawyer's energy ball at an early time in the morning. Ripto couldn't stop thinking about the thing he saw take the Talisman however. "Can't we just destroy the part of the castle he could be hiding in? It should be easy to rebuild?"

Sawyer sighed as he then explained why that would be pointless, even with how easy it was for them to fix it instantly. "Even with the instantaneous rebuilding spell from my dark magic, destroying parts of the Kingdom would be a waste of time." Ripto gulped as Sawyer then looked at him to further explain this. "He's a small creature. There could be cracks he could squeeze through in the walls that even WE don't know about." Sparx was then shown waking up early in the crack he was in and finding that there were now drone riptocs looking out for him.

Sparx tried to find ways to escape with Sawyer further explaining the setbacks behind the action. "In addition to that, if he still has the Talisman, then we could be looking at risk of losing it through reckless action. Once our drones find him, I'll capture him and force him to tell us where he took the Talisman. By force."

Ripto nodded nervously in understanding with the alarm going off and Sawyer giving a sadistic grin as he thought about the upcoming events. It was clear that what he just said to Ripto was about to happen. "And if he refuses... his fate will be sooner than he realizes."

Spyro and the others were all getting ready for their venture to Winter Tundra in the hopes of getting the Talismans back and saving Sparx. While they were getting ready, Spyro managed to find the time to put some more time into his game. As he was playing, Elora finished packing her bag and took notice to how in the zone he was. Once he finished, he pumped his fist and cheered in joy. "Yes! DireChomp is level fifty now!"

Elora got a good look at Spyro's game, curious as to what party he had. She was surprised to find the selection he had there. "Wow; that's a lot of impressive Trainer Beasts! Is this the new game that came out last month?"

"Yep." Spyro answered, admitting how much time he's wanted to spend with it since his journey began. "I've been trying to find the time to do some more gaming, but these last few days have been way too time consuming on me." Spyro saved his game and put his gameboy away, deciding that he was ready then and there to head off to Winter Tundra. "Alright then. Let's get to Winter Tundra and save Avalar! And also get me, Cynder, and Sparx home."

Elora nodded in response with Cynder finishing her packing as she went over to Spyro and Elora in the hopes of leaving Spyro comfortable with this mission. "Just remember, Spyro. If you start to feel tense during the mission, I'm right here."

Spyro was grateful for that and smiled as he placed his paw on Cynder's after she put one on his leg for comfort. "Thanks, Cynder. I'll keep that in mind." Cynder smiled back in response to that. She knew it would be worth it to see Spyro completely happy when they got home.

Flame and Ember were at the castle as Ember listened to the new melody Flame was currently whipping up. It was a peaceful, and cheerful melody, one that displayed the feeling of comfort and relief upon the return of a loved one. It seemed to fit the mood perfectly for when Spyro and Cynder came back. Once Flame finished the last few notes, Ember was more than happy to give her thoughts. "That was really good, Flame! If I came back from a long, hard adventure, I'd wanna listen to that."

Flame was glad to hear that and knew that Spyro and Cynder would love it too. He just hoped he would be able to play it when they got back. "Glad I can" contribute something to the mission." Ember looked at Flame with concern when she heard that, and Flame then explained why bashfully. "It's just... I contributed the least to the overall mission of helping Spyro find his birth dad, or helping to stop Gnasty Gnorc. Cynder fought alongside him in some battles, and you even learned lightning magic from her."

"You still helped with that." Ember reminded Flame, despite him being right about the others contributing more. "Even if what you said is true, your help with the mission still counts. And it's a lot better than sitting on your butt all the time and expecting everything to go well."

Flame laughed a bit at Ember's honesty there, especially towards that last part. He was more than glad to have not done that. He then set his guitar standing up for a minute as he thought about what Spyro and Cynder must be up to right now. "I know Spyro and Cynder aren't doing that right now. Not with Sawyer killing them being a risk."

"Of course!" Ember agreed optimistically, knowing that Spyro especially would never back down from action. "And we've both known Spyro for the longest time now. I mean... you since birth, but I've still known him long enough to know that he wouldn't just let stuff happen and not do anything about it." Ember then started thinking about how she was going to move on from Spyro. "That's... part of what I love about him."

Flame chuckled a bit before bringing up something that he felt would help Ember out. "Any chance you wanna get back to the portal and focus on saving our friends' scaly butts and Spyro's pet dragonfly?" Ember smiled and nodded, heading over to the portal after Flame grabbed his guitar so they could continue fixing the portal together.

Spyro and the others had arrived at Winter Tundra with Hunter and Archer currently scoping out the area as they snuck around from the nearby trees. As they looked around to see how many guards there were, they noticed that some of them were scoping around the walls as well. The two of them knew they would have to take out some of the guards to give the others a chance to get in as well, so they signaled each other on which guards they were gonna take out. Hunter went after the ground guards on the right, and Archer went after the ones on the left.

Hunter went in quickly and took out all three of the guards he had with three quick shots. He managed to hit two of them in the chest, and he hit the last one in the leg. Before he could call out however, he used another arrow that shot it right in the head. Archer was glad to see that Hunter was keeping his archery skills up to date. He was about to one up him however, and he did so by shooting two gnorcs with a split double arrow shot, and then taking out the last one with a head shot.

Hunter could tell that Archer had improved since they last went on a mission together, and they headed back to tell the others. Archer then noticed the gnorc on top of the castle wall spying on them however and timed his next arrow carefully. When he shot it, the gnorc was shown attempting to run down the ladder to where Sawyer and Ripto were, and it struck him right through the head and down the body. Only the bottom part of the arrow was shown as he fell down the ladder. Once Archer was sure his shot had landed, he ran on ahead to rejoin Hunter.

Spyro and the others had already set up a small camp close to Winter Tundra, but not close enough to be seen by Ripto. Spyro was currently thinking about something heavy as he sat by the fire with Cynder having a feeling she knew what it was. "You're worried about whether or not we'll save Sparx too, right?"

"I can't see why I'd be worried about anything else right now. Outside of saving Avlar, of course." Spyro admitted, having his mind fully set on saving his dragonfly companion from Sawyer and Ripto. "And I don't even know if he's kidnapped yet, so there's no telling how much time we have left to save him. As soon as Hunter and Archer get back from scouting the opening of the castle, I'm gonna be as ready as can be to save him."

Just then, Archer's voice was heard from behind as he said exactly what Spyro wanted to hear. "Then let's get to Winter Tundra and save all of Avalar!"

Spyro and the others looked to find Hunter and Archer walking over to them as Hunter let them know about how they took out the guards. "You should've seen our skills. We took out these guards like it was nothing, all seven of them. We even stuck an arrow through the last one over the roof!"

"Um, I, stuck an arrow through the last one over the roof. My arrow, and my bow."

"Well we were both there taking out gnorcs, so all seven kills get shared equally as a team."

Elora then stepped into the brotherly argument, wanting the mission to be everyone's main focus. "Let's just get to Winter Tundra. We have a Kingdom to save, and a castle to take back."

Spyro and the others made their way to Winter Tundra from that with Spyro thinking about saving Sparx. 'Don't worry, Sparx. As soon as we get to Winter Tundra, I'm gonna find a way to kill Sawyer and Ripto, save you, AND Avalar, all in the same day.' Spyro then realized how hard it was gonna be to defeat Sawyer and Ripto if they both went up against him. 'Here's hoping they're generous enough to come at me one by one?"

Elora then got a text and checked her phone, finding that it was Moneybags letting her know that he got into the castle. She was surprised by this and let the others know after she saw it. "Moneybags managed to get into the castle! He might've seen some stuff we haven't yet!"

Hunter had to admit that he was confused by this. He couldn't recall any times Elora and Moneybags hung out together. "Since when are you and Moneybags friends?"

"I keep in touch with ALL creatures helping in the Avalar Protection Squad." Elora answered with a smile, and then she snickered a bit as she thought about the name she just revealed. "Okay; I know we're not actually called that, but it just popped into my head while I was brainstorming team names we could have."

Spyro laughed a bit before coming up with one himself that he felt Elora would like. "What about Flaming Heroes of Avalar? It's like a reference to the burning desire we all have to save Avalar and everyone in it."

"Oooh; that's a good one." Elora admitted, and then she was curious to see what the others had in mind. "Cynder, Hunter, you two have any good ones?"

Cynder and Hunter did like the idea of brainstorming team names, and Cynder had one that referenced her lightning powers. "Maybe... Shockers of Evil in Avalar."

Hunter had one that referenced Avalar a little more clearly, but was also a little goofy. "Avalar Avengers. Proof that Avalar will be avenged." The four friends then laughed at the goofy names they were coming up with as they all made their way to the Winter Tundra castle with the rest of the group.

Sparx was now under interrogation from Sawyer and Ripto with the former holding him still with his dark magic. He wasn't in pain that was too severe, but one wrong move and he was a goner. Sawyer was quick to praise Sparx for his stealth as he spoke up. "You're quite slick, Sparx. Not many creatures could have succeeded in stealing a Talisman from my grasp that silently." Sparx glared at Sawyer, who then got to the point of the interrogation. "Of course, that's also why you're here. You will tell me where you're hiding the Talisman from Glimmer. Or, show me, since you can't speak."

Sparx nodded his head no with Sawyer increasing his magic's grip just a little more tightly. This caused Sparx to start sweating as Sawyer reminded him of the position he was in right now. "Don't forget, Sparx. I could kill you without a second thought if I wanted to. I snapped the neck of that dragon in Magic Crafters without any regard for the outcome." Sparx started to look horrified as Sawyer gave a cold stare. "I will ask you again. Where, is the Talisman, to Glimmer?"

Sparx darted his eyes to the right with Sawyer carrying him over to where he was referring to. When Sawyer noticed the crack in the wall that was big enough to fit the Talisman through, Sawyer felt that should have been obvious. "The crack you hid in? That does make sense." Sawyer nodded to Ripto, who sent his rynocs over to the crack to investigate the crack. When they got down there, they didn't see anything that was directly in front of them. One of them reached through, and he had to move his hand around a little before he could find anything to grab.

The rynoc was reaching far to the right with his hand all the way through, and he managed to pull on an object that was in the crack. When he pulled as hard as he could, his hand got stuck, but he was able to pull the object out successfully. Surely enough, it was the Talisman! The rynocs went back over to Sawyer and Ripto with the former taking the Talisman and inspecting it. He was pleased, and he looked to Sparx with a grin towards the fact that he was honest. "So you're smarter than you look, Sparx."

Sawyer slammed Sparx onto the ground, which led to him being almost completely squashed, shocking the others around him immensely. Sawyer then walked off with Ripto carrying him with his magic in case Sawyer wanted him to do something with the dragonfly. Ripto has to ask why Sawyer went through with the attack however, since Sparx was honest about the Talisman. "I don't understand, Sawyer! He told us where the Talisman was!"

"And he's still alive." Sawyer responded coldly, looking to Sparx as he gave Ripto an order. "Cover him up with something. Perhaps a nearby cup if you will." Ripto nodded in response and walked off with Sparx as Sawyer put the Talisman back into it's registered slot. Once it was back in, Sawyer put the barrier back up and went back to waiting for Spyro and the others tos how up. He couldn't help but chuckle devilishly as he looked over Winter Tundra, giving a devious grin as he did. It was clear that he was excited to make Spyro and his friends suffer.

To be continued.

An instrumental version of the main theme played during the credits.
