Hi guys, first of all, thank you to all those who took the time to reach me and ask me to keep writing. It really means a lot. Sorry for the long delay, but, I hope you're still here with me on this, I'll try to update all my stories in the following days. Anyway, this chapter will start the same night than the last scene of the previous chapter. In one of the previous chapter, when the boys were very little, the girls took care of them, Aria woke them up, and, they started to cry, why I'm saying this now? Well, because one scene will be linked with that moment. Thank you in advance if you've the time to leave a review ^^. See U!

Chapter 83 - Gut Feeling

(In the Hastings house)

Spencer.- "I miss you and love you so much…"

The pregnant brunette says it out loud, staring at a cup of coffee that's on the table of the kitchen while she is holding her phone, because she's having a face time with her wife, who's in the hospital, working…

Blair. - "I know you are talking to the cup of coffee, I just left there before leaving the house, but, I love you too, Spence…."

Both women chuckle and Spencer loves Blair more than coffee; the young doctor knows that even if Spencer doesn't say it out loud…

Spencer pushes away the cup of coffee, she's craving for the black substance, but, since she's pregnant, she knows she shouldn't take it, so, she stops staring at it, and, just focuses on the video chat she's having with her wife...

Spencer. - "So, how are Emily and the babies?"

Blair. - "They are fine, the fall did not hurt the babies, Emily's ankle got a little sore, nothing severe. But…"

Spencer. - "But?"

Blair whines. - "But Ali does not believe me when I say to her that they're going to be okay! She is paranoid, asking me to do so many unnecessary tests!" (sighs) "It's frustrating, and, she's being bossy and mean with everyone who doesn't follow her orders…"

Spencer mocks. - "Awww, is your best friend giving you a hard time?"

Blair rolls her eyes, she knows that she sounds like a little girl, whining to her mom about a friend, but, it's 3am, and, she doesn't have the energy neither the patience to deal with Alison, the Queen Bee in all her glory…

Spencer. - "You always find a way to reach her; she's scared, and, she cares a lot about her family, just talk with her, you'll find a way to make her see that everything is okay, so, not worry about it…"

Blair smiles, Spencer always knows what to say to make their issues look small and easy to overcome, that's one of the things she loves so much about her. For a moment, Blair puts herself, in Alison's shoes, she thinks what would be if she was in Alison's position, and, she realizes that she would be ten thousand heavier than the blonde if it was Spencer who would have fallen…

Spencer. - "Do you want me to go there and talk with her?"

Blair. - "No, you're safest at home, and, you should not drive, what if something gets in your way and you get in an accident? Or what if you come to the hospital and you get a mysterious lethal virus?! Or what if…?"

Spencer cuts her off. - "Wow, who's the paranoid now…?"

Blair rolls her eyes, and, Spencer just smiles, it is nice to have someone who worries so much about you…

Spencer. - "Well, I can't stay here without doing anything, so, I will give the girls a hand with the boys. The boys are asleep, but, the last thing our friends need right now, it is to find a mess in their home when they come back…"

Blair. - "Are Aria & Hanna staying with the boys? I thought that Emily's parents were with them…"

Spencer. - "They were, but, Wayne was going nuts without any news, so, Hanna texted me some minutes ago, telling me that she and Aria offer to stay at the house, so, the Waynes could go to the hospital. They are on their way to the hospital right now…"

Blair nods, now, she will have to deal with two overprotective parents too…

Spencer stands out from her seat and says. - "I will go and stay with the girls till you come home…"

Before Spencer could make a step, she hears a loud 'No' from her wife...

Spencer frowns. - "What do you mean by 'NO'?!"

The doctor takes a deep breath, she thinks about what she will say, the last thing she needs, it's to make Spencer mad at her...

Blair. - "The boys are fine, and, you're fine at home, just go to bed, and, stay there..."

Spencer. - "I'm going to Alison's house, and, that's final..."

Blair takes a deep breath, she knew the answer of the brunette before hearing it. It's not like she wants to keep Spencer inside a crystal bubble, but, this night has been crazy enough already, the last thing they need is another pregnant woman injured, but, there's no way to say 'no' to Spencer, so...

Blair. - "Fine, let me just text Aria, so she can come for you, and, escort you to the house..."

Spencer raises an eyebrow and says. - "The house is just a few meters away, they are at the next door from us, are you really saying that I need a nanny to walk me out?!"

Blair pleads. - "Please Spence, it's very dark and..."

Spencer. - "And, what? I don't know how to walk in the dark?!"

The doctor takes deep breaths, she knows that the pregnancy hormones make of Spencer a scary monster, but, even then, she will not stop trying to keep her safe...

Blair. - "Please, Spence, I'm begging you, for my sanity, can you wait for one of the girls to pick you up? I really don't want you to walk alone in the dark..."

Spencer finds it very ridiculous, it's just a few meters from where she's standing, nothing bad could happen to her, but, when she sees how stressed Blair is already, she just sighs deeply and nods. Accepting Blair's petition... she really loves this doctor. Their talk ends, and, in a question of minutes, someone knocks the door...

Spencer opens the door and says with a grumpy voice. - "What took you so long?!"

Hanna smirks, with food in her mouth. - "Nice to see you, too, Spence... it looks like the hormones of the pregnancy made you a very sweet person..."

The brunette rolls her eyes, she knows that Hanna is being sarcastic...

Hanna says while she puts a fork with food in her mouth. - "C'mon, let's go, I put something in the micro-wave, and, I want to eat it before it gets cold..."

Spencer raises an eyebrow. - "Are you eating right now...?"

Hanna nods and takes another bite from the tuperware she brought with her. - "Yeah, I'm eating some leftovers I found in Alison & Emily's fridge..." (She takes another bite and moans) "God! Alison really knows how to cook..."

Spencer. - "It's 3am..."

Hanna shrugs. - "Yeah, so...?"

Spencer raises an eyebrow. - "So...? How is possible that it's 3am of the morning, and, you're eating like if it was lunch time...?!"

Hanna rolls her eyes. And, both girls get ready to leave the house, when the brunette says...

Spencer. - "Geez, Hanna, you're acting like if you were having cravings of food, like..." (She looks how Hanna looks at the roof, like each time she gets caught doing something bad, and, the brunette gasps surprised by what this might mean for them) "OMG! Are you...? Are you...?!"

Hanna shrughs, and, mumbles with a shy voice. - "Maybe, I don't know..."

Spencer. - "What do you mean, with I don't know?! This isn't an open question, Hann!"

Hanna. - "I'm late okay! But, I haven't made any test yet, so, I'm not 100% sure if I'm pregnant or not..."

Spencer. - "Oh..."

The blonde looks at the empty tuperware, and, they stay in silence for a moment till...

Hanna. - "I just have this gut feeling that I'm pregnant, you know...?"

The brunette smiles, she knows of what Hanna is talking about. So, she hugs Hanna and says...

Spencer. - "Well, let's trust your gut, so, congrats..."

Hanna smiles, they hug, and, the blonde asks Spencer to keep it between them, at least for now, till she finds the time to do a pregnancy test. Spencer nods and promises to keep the secret, after all, they do know how to keep a secret. They were approaching the front door of the house of their friends when...

(Phone buzz)

Spencer looks at her phone and says. - "OMG! Aria woke up the boys!"

Hanna. - "What?!"

They are outside the house, but, they can hear the crying of the boys already. Aria opens the door and she says to her friends...

Aria. - "I just wanted to hug them, I swear..."

Hanna rolls her eyes. - "You really didn't learn the 1st time, isn't shorty?"

Spencer smirks. - "You know? I really got this gut feeling that you would need me here..."

Hanna. - "Oh, shut up, I can handle a crying baby..."

Aria smirks. - "Yeah, you could give me a hand with it, if you weren't so busy eating everything that's in the fridge..."

Spencer chuckles, Aria chuckles, and, eventually Hanna chuckles, too, they look at each other, and, then, they walk inside, like the team they are, ready to face 3 crying boys...

*** Alison's narrative (voice over) ***

If you get that gut feeling that something bad is coming? What do you do? Your brain can be fooled, and, your heart is an idiot, a complete mess when someone you love is in danger. So, what else do you have to lean over? Just your gut... and, you should pay attention to it, because it doesn't know how to lie... even when you're an expert in the field...

(In the hallways of the hospital)

Alison yells. - "Where the hell were you?!"

Blair. - "Geez, Ali, calm down..."

Alison. - "I'm calm..."

Blair. - "Oh please, you are a better liar than that..."

Alison rolls her eyes, the last thing she needs right now, it's Blair being a smart ass...

Blair. - "I was talking with Spence, telling her not to worry, because Emily and the babies are okay..."

Alison. - "Are they really okay?!"

Blair. - "YES! They are! Why is so hard for you to believe me?! Do you really think I'm so bad at my job?! Let me tell you something, I'm an amazing doctor, so, please, have a little of fate in me when I tell you that Emily and the babies are okay!"

The blonde takes a deep breath, more than anything, she wants to believe in Blair's words, but, she has this feeling, this gut feeling that scares her a lot...

Alison gulps hard. - "You keep saying that they are okay, and, more than anything I want to believe it, but..."

Blair. - "But you're scared...?"

Alison nods, wrapping her arms around her like a scared kid...

Blair. - "It's normal to be scared when this kind of things happen, hell, I would be all over the top if it was Spence..."

Alison takes a deep breath and says. - "It's just that I did so many bad things in the past, and, despite the awful teenager I was back then, somehow I got my happy ending with Emily, a happy life. And, I still can't believe it, I mean, there's not a day when I don't ask myself if I'm dreaming or if somehow Karma will come after me and destroy everything, I just..."

Blair. - "You're just used to expect the worse, right?"

Alison nods. - "I don't want to be a pessimist, but, I don't know how to explain it, I just..." (She puts her hand over her chest and says) "I just have this gut feeling telling me that something bad is going to happen..."

Blair pats Alison's arm and says. - "Look, I know how over protective you're with your family, and, I respect that, really. but, you're still in shock with everything that happened tonight, you need to shake it off, nothing bad will happen, so, just give it time and you will feel better, I promise..."

Alison nods, she wants to believe it, that everything is going to be okay, but then, why she can't shake off this gut feeling from her heart...?

They keep talking and, when the Fields arrive, Blair talks to them while Alison gets inside Emily's room. In a hospital bed, Emily opens her eyes, she tries to move, but, someone stops her...

Alison mumbles. - "Hey, don't move too much..."

Emily. - "Ali?"

Alison caresses Emily's face and says with a tender voice. - "Yeah, I'm here..."

Emily gets more conscious of where they are, her eyes get wild bigger when she recalls why they are in the hospital. Everything happened so fast, Alison calling 911, the ambulance arriving, the doctors taking care of her, and...

Emily. - "Ali, what happened?"

Alison takes a deep breath, she knows what to say, but, she doesn't know how...

Emily. - "Ali! Talk to me! Say something!"

The brunette fears for the worst when she sees the pain in Alison's look. And, when the blonde starts crying in silence, it just makes it more painful...

Emily mumbles with a wrenching voice. - "My babies..." (Tears) "No, no, no..."

The blonde reaches Emily's hands, she tries to calm her down, but, words will not reach the brunette, her mind is already thinking the worse...

Alison. - "Emily, you need to calm down..."

Emily cries. - "How can you tell me that?! I hurt my babies, our babies, I..."

Someone approaches, and, tells what Alison is not able to say...

Blair. - "You're okay, and, the babies are okay too..."

Emily. - "Blair..."

Alison smiles to their friend, but, deep down, she's still doubting about it...

Emily asks. - "The babies are really okay...?"

Blair nods. - "You hurt your ankle, so, you will need some rest for now. Walk with that big belly you have and the ankle hurt, it might be too risky for now..."

Emily nods, she looks at Alison and asks. - "If the babies are okay. Then, why you look so sad, Ali...?"

Alison says with tears in her eyes. - "You scared me! I was so scared, I'm still shaking..."

Emily. - "Oh Ali..." (She waves her hands) "Come here..."

Emily hugs the blonde and, Alison cries, a mix of emotions all over the place, and, Alison doesn't know what else to do beside hugging her dear wife, and, grip on her, like if her life depended on it...

Alison cries. - "I'm so sorry, I couldn't protect you..."

Emily. - "It was an accident Ali, I fell, it's not your fault..."

Alison. - "But, I promised to always protect you, and..."

Emily caresses Alison's face and says. - "And, you're always protecting me and our family..."

Alison smiles a little, with Emily's words, the blonde feels a little better...

Blair. - "Aww, aren't you cute?!"

Alison rolls her eyes. - "Stop it..."

Blair. - "Anyway, Emily you're free to go..."

Alison. - "Can we stay for tonight? She should be in observation at least for tonight..."

Blair. - "You shouldn't, you don't need it, but..."

Alison. - "But, you're my BFF so, you will make it happen, right?"

Blair takes a deep breath and says. - "I'll take care of the paperwork..."

The young doctor walks towards the door, ready to leave them alone, when...

Alison. - "And, bring me a pillow and a blanket, please, I'm staying here too..."

Blair. - "You're too bossy, you know that?"

Alison shrugs. - "And...?"

Blair rolls her eyes, and, gets ready to bring what the Queen Bee wants... really Alison DiLaurentis always gets what she wants. Once alone, the couple talk...

Emily. - "Ali, we shouldn't stay if it's not really necessary, what about the boys...?"

Alison. - "The boys are with the girls, so, they are more than okay..."

Emily. - "But, Ali..."

Alison. - "Stop it, Em, we're staying tonight, I need to know that they are doctors around if you need something. And, I'll not leave your side..."

The blonde kisses Emily's head and the brunette smiles, she doesn't want to admit it, but, knowing that they will stay in the hospital at least for tonight, it really makes her feel better. The Fields come in too, for a brief moment; they hug Emily, they talk with the brunette while Alison calls the girls to check on the boys...

Emily looks at her wife coming inside the room again and asks. - "It's everything all right?"

Alison sighs deeply. - "Yeah, we will just need to do some groceries before going home. It looks like Hanna attacked our fridge..."

Emily chuckles, and, Alison smiles, at least she can make her mermaid smile in times like this...

Wayne. - "Well, we will leave you to rest a little, we will come back tomorrow morning to pick you up,, okay...?"

Alison nods. - "Ok, thank you..."

Once alone again, Alison tries to get comfortable in the chair, but, Emily slowly moves in her hospital bed, making room for her in the bed...

Alison. - "Em, no, you need to rest a little, and..."

Emily cuts her off. - "And, I rest better when you're at my side..."

Alison chuckles, if she's stubborn, Emily is a thousand times worse than her. So, she stops protesting, the blonde puts the extra pillow that Blair brought her, and puts it beside Emily, while she covers them with the blanket...

Alison hugs Emily and says. - "I love you... you know that, right...?"

Emily nods, she snuggles into Alison's embrace and says while her eyes close. - "I love you too, and, we will be okay... not worry..."

The brunette fall asleep, but, the blonde stays awake. She really wants to believe that everything is okay, but...

Some days later, in the DiLaurentis-Fields house...

Alison. - "Em, what are you doing?!"

Emily says while she tries to get out of the bed. - "I just want some juice..."

Alison. - "I'll bring it to you, you don't have to move..."

The brunette sighs deeply, she knows that Blair said complete rest, but, Alison took Blair's words to a whole new level. Emily can't remember when was the last time she did something by herself. And, she really loves how Alison takes care of her, but...

Alison brings the juice and says. - "Here..."

Emily takes the juice and says. - "Thanks..." (She looks at the blonde and says) "Ali, we need to talk..."

Alison. - "Something wrong...?"

The brunette pats the bed, the blonde sits at her side, and, Emily interlocks their hands when she says...

Emily. - "Ali, let me tell you that I really appreciate everything you're doing for me..."

Alison smiles

Emily takes a deep breath and says. - "But, I need you to back off..."

Alison frowns. - "What?"

Emily. - "Ali, you're treating me like a baby..."

Alison. - "You need to rest, Blair said..."

Emily. - "Blair said that I had to rest, to try to not walk a lot, but, you are taking it in a completely new level! Doing everything for me all of the time, it's not helping me with my stress..."

Alison. - "What do you mean...?"

Emily. - "We are independent women, we love to take care of each other, but, we also love to feel that we can do things by ourselves..."

The blonde takes a deep breath, she knows what Emily wants to say with that, but...

Alison. - "I can't let you get hurt again..."

Emily. - "And, I promise I'll put more attention when I walk... when I fell in the bathroom, I fell because I didn't notice that the floor was wet, but, that will not happen again..."

Alison pouts, she doesn't want to risk it. Something happening to her dear mermaid can't happen again...

Emily. - "I need to do some things by myself, Ali..."

Alison. - "I let you watch TV alone..."

Emily raises an eyebrow. - "Ali... you know that I'm not talking about that..."

Alison tries to protest. - "But, Em! You don't get it, I just have this gut feeling that..."

Emily. - "That something bad will happen...?"

Alison nods

Emily. - "I know about what you're talking about. I felt the same when you were pregnant with the boys. Do you remember our talk from back then...?"

Alison nods

Emily. - "I was scared of losing you too, because with triplets, the pregnancy was more risky. I was scared about everything, but..."

Alison. - "But I told you that everything was going to be okay..."

Emily smiles and nods. - "Yeah, and, I need you to tell me that again, Ali. You need to be the braver person you were back then. I need that from you, Ali..."

Alison. - "But, Em, I..."

Emily. - "You're the bravest person I ever know, and, I need you to be that person right now..."

The blonde stares at Emily in the eyes, she can sees that even if she feels okay, Emily is still scared. So, if Emily needs a rock...

Alison nods. - "Okay, I'll let you do more things by yourself..."

Emily smiles, she kisses Alison's cheek and says a thank you...

Alison. - "But, you, going back to work, it's off the table..."

Emily. - "But, Ali, we are in the middle of the season, I can't leave my team without a coach..."

Alison. - "Em, I already talked with the Principal, and, he agreed to give you a longer maternal leave, and, find a temporary substitute for you..."

Emily raises an eyebrow. - "He agreed or you forced him to...?"

Alison smirks. - "What I can see? Sometimes my QB gens just shine through..."

Emily chuckles, she can already imagine, Alison acting all Queen Bee against the Principal...

Alison. - "So, you're staying at home, and, not worry about the boys or anything, the girls and your parents are more than happy to help..."

Emily. - "So, you're putting everything to act like my nanny when you're not around? What about the part of letting me do things by myself...?"

Alison chuckles, she kisses her wife and says. - "Stop complaining, and, just drink your juice..."

Emily giggles under their kiss, and, just like that another day in their lives go very well... but, good times don't last forever...

In another day...

Alison walks into their bedroom and says. - "How was your day, Em...?"

Emily is very quiet, she's over thinking about something, and, the blonde gets worried about what could be it...

Alison. - "Em...?"

Emily. - "I talked with the Principal, on the phone, today. He informed that he found a good substitute to take over my classes and my coaching tasks in the pool..."

Alison. - "Oh, that are great news, right?" (She looks at the face that Emily is making, and, says) "Em, it's good news right...?"

Emily looks at her wife and asks. - "Can you do me a favor?"

Alison sits at her side at the edge of the bed, the blonde nods while she holds Emily's hand and says. - "Sure, anything..."

Emily. - "Can you spy on the pool practices of tomorrow, and, let me know if this new coach is really doing a good job with my team...?"

Alison mumbles. - "Please, anything else than that..."

Emily. - "Please Ali, for me...?"

Alison. - "I know nothing about swimming..."

Emily. - "That's not true, you were always there, watching me in my practice..."

Alison smirks. - "Yes, watching you, looking so damn hot in that tiny swimsuit..." (She bites her lips, just picturing in her mind how hot her mermaid looks each time Emily wears a swimsuit and says) "I love to watch your figure shapped into a swimsuit, water droplets running down your beautiful legs..."

The blonde looks at Emily's legs, they are under the sheets, but, she has a great imagination, her mind is already gone, lost in her naughty thoughts till...

Emily hugs Alison's face with her hands and shakes it when she says. - "Ali, focuses!"

Alison looks back at her wife, in the eyes and says. - "Oh, yeah, sorry... what were we talking about...?"

Emily. - "Look, you know how much I care about my students, at least, I need to know that someone else is taking good care of them..."

Alison mumbles. - "I don't know..."

The brunette makes her deer eyes, and, she knows that Alison can't say 'no' to her deer eyes...

Alison rolls her eyes. - "Fine, I'll spy during their practice, it's each Thursday at 4pm, right...?"

Emily smiles. - "Yes! Thank you..."

Alison. - "Don't thank me yet, if the cops find me spying, and, think that I'm a creepy pervert for spying on teenage girls, swimming in the pool, then, that will be your fault..."

Emily chuckles, she kisses Alison's lips and says. - "It will be fine, Ali..."

The blonde sighs deeply, she will do it, but, she's not happy with the tasks, so, Emily decides to reward her in advance...

Emily drops away the sheets, she shows her legs and says. - "So, tell me, how much you love my legs...?"

Alison smiles, she could talk for hours about the beautiful body of Emily, but, why talk when they could do so much more than that...? Like an animal in heat, Alison attacks Emily and makes the brunette comes... more than once...

*** Emily's narrative (voice-over) ***

We put things in motion without even noticing it. Something is coming. Can you feel it? Can I feel it? Or, Am I too busy in my routine to notice it? If you feel something is wrong, that's it because it usually is... sadly we might put attention to our gut feeling, when it's too late to do something about it...

(At the Rosewood school)

Emily's wife was walking in the hallways of the school when she steps over someone...

Alison. - "Oh, sorry, I wasn't watching where I was walking, I..." (She recognizes the girl and frowns) "Sydney...?"

Sydney Driscroll was part of Emily's team when they were in high school. She always admired Emily and her swimming talent and she tried to adapt her style to suit that of Emily's, but, she never arrived to even approach to Emily's level. So, when she heard that they needed a substitute for Emily, she thoughts that this was her chance to get in Emily's shoes, and, finally be able to be just like the great Emily Fields...

Alison asks. - "Are you Emily' substitute...?"

Sydney nods

Alison. - "Oh, I see. I didn't know you were back in Rosewood..."

Sydney. - "And, I can't believe that I'm talking with Alison DiLaurentis, I mean, you were royalty back then, when we were students in this school..."

Alison blushes. - "Oh please, stop it..." (She smirks) "But, you're not wrong, I was royalty back then..."

They chuckle, they make a little talk, and, while they are talking, Alison notices how a creepy teacher looks at them...

Alison frowns. - "Who is that...?"

Sydney looks in the same direction that Alison and says. - "I'm new here, but, I think he's the football coach..."

Alison mumbles. - "He looks drunk..."

Sydney. - "What?! No, come on, as teachers, we shouldn't drink during teaching hours, I'm sure he wouldn't do that..."

He was drunk, Alison could smell the liquor from the distance...

Sydney looks at her watch and says. - "Crap, I'm late, I should go..."

The blonde nods, she keeps an eye on the creepy coach, she tried to let it go, but, when Sydney walks towards the pool, rushing to not get late in her 1st practice with the team, Alison notices how this guy looks at Sydney, and, the blonde doesn't like it... at all...

(At the DiLaurentis-Fields house)

Emily was at the kitchen and says. - "Really Hann, you can go home, Ali will arrive at any minute..."

Hanna opens the fridge and says. - "I'm fine here, thanks..."

Emily chuckles. - "Well, yeah, of course you're fine, eating all our food!"

Hanna. - "Hey! It's not my fault that your wife cooks so damn good!"

Emily chuckles, she smiles and she rubs her big belly with a big smile on her lips while she thinks about Alison. And, she was thinking about the blonde when...

(Phone buzz)

The brunette smiles when she recognizes the number, she picks up her phone and says...

Emily on the phone. - "Hi, Ali! How was the practice? Could you check on my substitute...?"

(At the school)

Alison says with the phone on her ear. - "Yeah, and, you will never imagine who's your substitute..."

Emily asks on the phone. - "Who...?"

Alison replies. - "Sydney Driscoll..."

Emily on the phone. - "What? Really? I didn't know she was in Rosewood..."

The blonde keeps talking with her wife, she sees all the girls get out of the lockers, she sees the hallways stays empty, and, she has no reason to stay any longer, but...

Alison mumbles. - "Is she still here? I didn't see her go out...?" (Sighs) "Why I've this gut feeling that something is wrong...?"

Emily on the phone. - "Ali, what are you talking about...?"

The blonde doesn't reply Emily's question because she dropped the phone the moment she heard a scream coming from the locker room.

Emily on the phone asks. - "Ali! Talk to me! What is coming on?! Ali..."

Later, at the DiLaurentis-Fields house at night...

Sydney says with a shaky voice. - "Are you sure that I can stay tonight, here...?"

Before Alison could answer it, her dear wife speaks on her behalf...

Emily hugs Sydney and says. - "Of course you can stay here. God, Ali already told me what almost happen, you shouldn't be alone, at least not tonight..." (She looks at her wife and smiles when she says) "Thank God you were nearby, to stop it..."

Alison smiles and nods. She's still a little taken by how things happened. When she got inside the locker room, and, saw this drunk coach trying to assault Sydney, the blonde recalled in her mind the night when Bel almost raped Emily, and, that triggered a monster in her...

Sydney. - "You should have seen her, Emily! Alison kicked his ass so bad, I'm sure he will not be able to walk in weeks..."

Emily smiles with pride. - "I'm sure of it..."

Alison smirks. - "I did really kick him very hard in the balls..."

They laugh, and, even if it was a terrifying moment, all that Sydney will remember about tonight, it's how Alison DiLaurentis show up for her... being a hero... something she has never had before...

Sydney hugs Alison and mumbles. - "Thank you..."

Alison pats Sydney's back and says. - "Yeah, sure..."

Emily smiles. - "Looks like you made a new friend..."

Alison frowns. - "What?!"

Sydney says with euphoria. - "Yes, let's be friends... no, even better, best friends! From now on, I'm your biggest fan! Your biggest follower!"

Alison wasn't sure what to say, but, from this point, there's nothing she could say that could stop Sydney to get attached to her...

(In Alison & Emily's bedroom)

Emily. - "You did great today..."

Alison gets in bed, she hugs her wife and says. - "Tell me the truth Em, that coach, he never tried to hurt you, right...?"

Emily. - "What? No, of course not..." (She sighs) "I don't know what came to him, he was a really nice guy..."

Alison. - "When the police arrived, he blamed his wife for it..."

Emily. - "What?!"

Alison. - "It looks like his wife cheated on him, that's why he started drinking, and, he said that Sydney looks a lot like his wife, and, that triggered the worse on him. What a lame excuse, don't you think?"

Emily snuggles under Alison's embrace and says. - "Yeah. But, he didn't harm Sydney, and, that's the important thing here. Anyway, I'm happy you were there to help her..."

Alison nods. - "Yeah, I just got this gut feeling that something was wrong, you know?"

Emily nods, and, she falls asleep, feeling safe in Alison's arms. And, after tonight, Alison thought that her gut feeling would turn off, but, it didn't...

*** Alison's narrative (voice-over) ***
