Hi,

Chapter 87 - Desire
*** Alison's narrative (voice-over) ***
Love is a two syllable word for, 'Here is my heart and soul, please grind them into hamburger and enjoy.' It also comes with desire... oh, desire... difficult to live with, and impossible to live without. Because in life, there are some things you can't escape, and, desire, it's one of them...
Noel. - "Are you sure that we're not gonna hurt the baby...?"
Aria. - "Please, I'm in that trimester where I'm super horny..."
Noel presses his lips together, and, says. - "But..."
Aria drops the towel that was covering her naked body, and, Noel smiles when his eyes get locked over the belly of his fiancée.
Noel smiles. - "You're so, so pregnant..."
Aria. - "Yes, I'm, and, it's your fault! So, take responsibility for it, and, make me cum!"
Noel nods, he quickly undresses himself, and, jumps over the brunette. Both, giggle when they fall over the bed, till the desire of their bodies get too big, and, just moans come out from their room. They weren't the only couple with a busy morning that day...
Spencer moans. - "Fuck!"
The brunette moans like she has never done it before, her entire body shakes with pleasure, and, her skin glows, flushes with that perfect pinky red of love. She's having the best morning sex that she could dream up, and, the girl responsible for it, she gets out of the sheets, and, says with a cocky voice...
Blair smirks. - "That good, huh?!"
Spencer. - "Don't get cocky..." (She pushes Blair's head back under the sheets, and, orders) "Stop talking, put your mouth in a better use, and, get back there!"
Blair smirks. - "So, bossy..." (She smiles) "I love it!"
Spencer's body vibrates when she feels the breath of her wife over her wet folds, and, she purrs. - "God, your skills never stop to surprise me..."
It's not easy to please a Hastings, but, this doctor is proud to say that she's doing a really good job at it. Spencer smiles, and, her smile gets bigger when Blair puts her tongue to work, pushing her wife to scream her name more than once.
A bossy, and, noisy morning, it's what some couples were having that day, something that anyone could envy, especially one particular brunette...
(At the DiLaurentis-Fields House)
Emily opens her eyes, and, she sadly sighs when she sees empty the other side of the bed. The brunette sighs deeply, while she softly touches the spot on her side, and, recalls her last session of therapy...
*** Flashback ***
Samara. - "Emily, we have discussed this. I can't tell you any detail about my sessions with Alison..."
Emily. - "But, I'm her wife!"
Samara. - "And, I'm her doctor. I'm sorry, but, I will not compromise my ethic as her doctor..."
Emily sighs deeply, deep down, she understands the confidentiality between a doctor and a patient, but, she's desperate to know what is happening in Alison's mind because...
Emily sadly mumbles. - "She moved to the guest room a few days ago..."
Samara. - "I see..." (she takes some notes, and, says) "And, did she tell you why?"
Emily nods. - "Yeah... she said that she's hurt, and, that right now, she can't share the bed with someone she doesn't trust..." (She gets angry, and, says) "How can she say that to me?! How can she not trust me?!" (She looks at the girl who's sitting in front of her, and, says) "And, how is that therapy is not helping us?! I sent her to you, so, we could get better, and, things are getting worse! She's not sleeping with me anymore!"
Samara. - "I can see that you're upset..."
Emily says with sarcasm. - "Oh, you think?!"
Samara. - "You're upset, and, you've good reasons to be, and feel like that. But, let me ask you something: with whom you're more upset? With me, because I'm not giving you the results that you were expecting? Or, with Alison, because she's upset and angry at you? Or, maybe you're, you're upset with yourself, because you know that you hurt someone you love, and, you don't know how to fix it...?"
Emily sighs deeply, she looks away, not daring to reply because Samara is right, Alison is upset, really upset, and, this time, Emily doesn't know how to fix it, or even, if it's possible to fix it...
Samara. - "Emily, there are not more symptoms that persist can be signs of PTSD in your life, and, that's good..."
Emily smiles because the blonde is right, she can happily say that Sydney didn't break her after all, but...
Samara. - "And, now that those wounds are healed, maybe now you can realize that you're not the only one who has been hurt..."
Emily sadly pouts. - "I didn't cheat on her..."
Samara. - "But, You lied and hid things from Alison... why?"
Emily shrugs. - "I don't know..."
The blonde opens her mouth, she wants to say something, but, the clock reaches the hour, announcing the end of their time, so...
Samara. - "Our time is up for today, but, here's some homework. Try to put yourself in Alison's shoes; for one minute think about how you would feel if you find out that Alison is secretly texting with an ex-lover..."
Emily says with a cocky smile. - "That's impossible, Ali has zero ex-lovers... I'm the only one with whom she has been... It has been just me..."
The brunette says it with proud, and, arrogance, something that Samara takes note of it, so, the doctor changes her approach, and, says...
Samara. - "Just because you were the 1st one on getting into Alison's heart, it doesn't mean you'll be the only one..."
Emily. - "Huh?!"
Samara. - "Your wife is very charming, a unique girl. And, anyone who doesn't desire someone like that in her life, it would be a fool..."
Emily gulps hard, she's not liking where this conversation is going...
Samara. - "So, let me ask you something, how you would feel if someone new appeared in your lives, and, Alison would start to approach this person without telling you...?"
Emily gulps hard, she gets pale...
Samara. - "Don't do to others what you wouldn't want done to yourself... I'm not a very religious girl. But, I do like a lot that quote from the Bible. So, think about that, and, maybe you'll be able to understand why you & Alison are so upset..." (She looks at her agenda, and, says) "My other patient will arrive soon, Emily. Let's call it for today..."
Emily nods. - "Okay..." (She grabs her things, and, stands up, she's ready to leave, but, before crossing the door, she turns around, and, asks) "It's okay if we get a session next Saturday?"
Samara shakes her head, and, says. - "Sorry, I can't. I've a wedding to assist..."
Emily. - "Oh..."
Samara. - "Let's see each other in another day, okay...?"
Emily nods, she's ready to leave, but...
Samara. - "And, Emily..."
Emily turns her head towards the blonde, and, says. - "Yes...?"
Samara. - "Sometimes, all we need is to talk..."
*** End of the flashback ***
The brunette sighs deeply, recalling Samara's last words during their last session, and that's why the 1st thing she does when she wakes up, it's...
(knocks)
Alison was getting dressed for work in the guest room. Half of her wardrobe is already here, and, Alison sadly sighs when she sees all her dresses there, hanging alone. Lost in her thoughts till another knock at the door catches her attention. She stares at the door, she hesitates on opening it, but, in the end, she does it, and, takes a deep breath, even if she's upset, Emily's natural beauty always takes her breath away...
Emily shyly says. - "Hi..."
Alison makes a step forwards, her body moves by itself, the desire to kiss the mermaid like any other morning is too strong, so, the blonde turns away, trying to turn down her own desire to stay close, she sits on the edge of the bed, trying to put some distance between them...
Emily stays under the frame door, she says with a nervous voice. - "How did you sleep...?"
Alison. - "Fine, I guess..."
Emily nods, she hates that they cannot even have a normal conversation right now. The blonde keeps getting ready, Emily starts to play with her pajamas, not sure how to have this conversation...
Alison says while she puts on her shoes. - "I've to go..." (She looks at Emily in the eyes, and, says) "There's something you need to say to me?"
Emily. - "Are you still angry at me...?"
Alison says with a bitter voice. - "I'm still sleeping in the guest room. What do you think?"
Emily looks down, she plays with her fingers, and, says. - "I.. I'm sorry. Can you forgive me...?"
Alison says without hesitation. - "No..."
The words sounded harsh, just like Alison attitude towards Emily the last couple of days, and, Emily believes she had enough of that attitude, that's why...
Emily. - "C'mon, Ali! I'm trying, here!"
Alison snaps, standing in front of the brunette. - "And, do you really think I'm not trying?!" (she says with tears, already falling from her beautiful blue eyes) "Do you really think that I want to feel like this? Do you really think that I haven't tried to just move on, and, let it go...?!"
Emily gulps...
Alison. - "I want to forgive you... I want to look at you, and, not feel angry at all..." (deep breath) "But, I can't... I just can't..." (She says with tears in her eyes, and, with a wrenching voice) "You... you broke my heart again..."
Emily gulps hard when she sees how broken Alison looks right now, how sad, and, the worst part is that she caused that pain...
Alison runs a hand through her hair, and, says. - "This sucks, Emily! And, the worst part is that I believe that it will just keep happening..."
Emily mumbles. - "What will keep happening...?"
Alison snaps. - "Your lies! You, keeping me in the dark! You, hiding me things!"
The brunette has no clue to what she should say, can she promise that it would not happen again? She's not sure about that, so, the brunette just looks down, and, sadly says...
Emily. - "I'm sorry, I'm really sorry..."
Alison. - "Do you...?"
Emily looks up, their eyes meet, and, the blonde asks...
Alison. - "Are you really sorry...?"
Emily. - "Of course I'm!"
Alison sadly chuckles. - "You say you're sorry, but, you keep lying to me..."
Emily approaches, she tries to touch Alison's arm while she says. - "Ali... please, I..."
The blonde ignores the pleading of her wife, she grabs her bag, and, says with a bitter voice...
Alison. - "You betrayed me once again..."
The brunette freezes, Alison's words hurt so much that Emily recoils, and, she doesn't dare to touch Alison's arm at all...
Emily. - "I... I didn't betray you..."
Alison. - "I asked you to make a choice, and, you chose to run towards who you believed it was Maya..."
Emily. - "And, I'm sorry for that, I..."
Alison angrily snaps. - "You! You looked me in the eyes for weeks, and, weeks. And, you pretended like nothing was happening while the girl you loved once, appeared in your life again?!"
Emily gulps hard, she doesn't know what to say...
Alison. - "You texted with Maya for weeks behind my back..."
Emily mumbles. - "It wasn't Maya..."
Alison. - "No, it wasn't her, but, it could have been her, and..." (She sadly says) "And, I can't stop thinking that you love her more than me..."
Emily shakes her head. - "Ali, NO! I did love Maya, but, my love for you is bigger..."
Alison says with a sarcastic tone. - "Really?! Because, between Maya and me, for me, it looks like she's your 1st choice..."
Emily pleads. - "Ali, please, she's dead, she..."
Alison. - "She appeared in your life again. And, you didn't believe that I deserved to know... why...?"
Emily presses her lips together, Alison is making the same question that Samara made, and, once again, she's not sure how to reply...
Alison. - "You know, everyone around here points at me as the liar. But, truth be told, Emily. In this family, you're the liar..."
Emily gulps hard, she never thought that word could hurt so much...
Alison. - "Whether you realize it or not. You're a liar. And, your lies hurt me..."
Emily looks down at the floor, tears falling from her brown eyes too when she sadly mumbles. - "I'm sorry, Ali..."
Alison sadly says. - "And, I want to believe that you're sorry..."
Emily looks up, their eyes meet, and, the blonde says...
Alison. - "But, I can't... I don't believe a word you say, and, I don't see that changing any time soon..."
The blonde leaves the house, and, Emily sits on the edge of the bed, crying in silence, regretting all the last decisions she made to get to this point on her marriage...
*** Emily's narrative (voice-over) ***
You say sorry, and, you believe that all the wrong you did, it will just vanish... don't you wish that it was that easy? But, nothing in life is easy. Every day, we make decisions that can go one of two ways, Either very good or very, very, very bad. The problem is, the epically great decisions and the epically bad ones look exactly the same when you're making them. Looking back, it's easy to see when a mistake has been made, the tricky part, it's to see the mistake before it happens...
(Next Saturday)
Samara was ordering a coffee for the road at the Brew, she has to drive towards NY for a wedding she doesn't want to assist, mostly because it's the wedding of an Ex. Why she said 'yes' in the 1st place? She doesn't know, maybe it was to prove that she has moved on, and, she has, but sadly, right now, she's alone, and, there's nothing worse than appear at the wedding of an Ex without a +1 but...
Alison smiles. - "Sam! Hi!"
Samara turns towards the source of that voice, a big smile immediately appears on her lips, she wonders why...
Samara smiles. - "Good morning, Alison..."
Alison. - "How many times I've to tell you, just call me 'Ali'..."
Samara chuckles, she shakes her head, there are some lines she doesn't want to cross with her patients, but, for some reasons, Alison DiLaurentis seems to be the exception because...
Alison makes deer's eyes, she pouts, and, says. - "Please, call me, Ali...?"
Samara. - "Fine... good morning, ALI..."
Both blondes smile, and, Alison orders a coffee too. They were waiting for their orders when Alison looks at her, and, says
Alison. - "Beautiful dress..."
Samara blushes. - "Thanks..." (She looks at Alison, and, says) "Yours too..."
Alison smiles. - "Thanks. I've a meeting with some new investors..."
Samara. - "You work during the weekend...?"
Alison smirks. - "I work even under my sleep..."
Samara chuckles, and, Alison chuckles too...
Alison. - "So, I'm dressed to kill because of work... what is your excuse? A hot date...?"
Samara chuckles. - "I wish..." (She gets her coffee, and, after saying 'thank you' to the barista of the coffee shop, she says to the blonde who's at her side) "I'll assist to a wedding..."
Alison. - "Oh, I see..." (She looks at the reflective attitude of the other blonde, and, says) "Uhmmm... you don't look happy about it... why?"
Samara takes a deep breath, and, the QB gets worried...
Alison says with concern. - "What is wrong...?"
Samara shakes her head. - "Nothing..."
Alison. - "Your face says different... c'mon, talk to me..."
Samara. - "You know, normally, that's my line when we meet..."
Alison smirks. - "But, we're not in therapy right now..."
Samara chuckles, and, shakes her head. - "I'm not doing this..."
Alison. - "Doing what?"
Samara looks at her in the eyes, and, she opens her mouth to say something like: I don't socialize with my patients, I don't cross that line, we're doctor & patient, nothing else, so, please do not give me a nickname as 'Sam'... so many things she could say, she should say, but, she couldn't... she just closes her mouth, and, walks away...
Alison frowns. - "Sam...?"
The bell of the door sounds when Samara leaves the Brew, and, Alison doesn't understand why she left like that. The day keeps going, but, she's still worried about how Samara just left like that, looking unhappy. Alison tries to focus on her work, and not worry about the other blonde, but, when her lunch with the investors finished, and, she gets ready to leave the fancy restaurant of a big hotel, she's surprised to see that in that same hotel, a wedding was taking place...
The bride. - "Samantha Cooks! Wow! I wasn't sure that you would come..."
Samara. - "Well, I gave you my word. So, here I'm..." (the other bride arrives, and, she says) "Congratulations..."
They start making a small talk and, when the other bride leaves to greet the other guest, the Ex of Samara says...
The bride. - "So, where is your +1...?"
Samara stammers. - "Well, I... uhmm..."
The bride smirks. - "Don't tell me that you're alone...? You see, you should have never let me go, now you're alone... that's sad ..."
Samara gets irritated with the comment, she shouldn't have come, she knew that her Ex will keep making comments like this one, because that is the kind person she's, that's the reason she broke up with her...
Samara. - "I see that you haven't changed at all, you keep loving to tear apart people with your toxic words..."
The bride smirks. - "And, I see that you are more pathetic than ever. You left me because you desired something better, but, I guess that there's nothing better than me, since you're alone..."
Samara takes a deep breath, she really shouldn't have come, and, when the bride keeps hurting her with her words, Samara is considering to leave when...
Alison. - "Do not talk to her like that..."
Samara turns at her right and says, surprised. - "Ali..."
The bride. - "Who are you...? Who...?"
Alison wraps her arm around Samara's waist, and, says. - "This might be your wedding, but, that doesn't give you the rights to talk to my girlfriend like that..."
The bride & Samara say at the unison, in shock. - "Girlfriend?!"
Alison winks an eye to Samara, and, says while she drags her inside. - "Let's go babe, I want to dance..."
They walk away, and, the bride just huffs angrily, something that the blondes are able to see over their shoulders...
Samara. - "Thank you..."
Alison. - "My pleasure, I overheard your conversation. I didn't like how she was talking to you, and, I just stepped in. I hope it's okay?"
Samara. - "It's okay, but, it was necessary to say that I was your girlfriend?"
Alison. - "Maybe not, but, did you see her face when I said it?" (Big smirks) "She was so shocked that I was sure she was going to have a heart attack..."
Samara laughs, and, Alison smiles, loving the sounds of that laugh...
Alison. - "You have a beautiful laugh..."
Samara freezes, her heart beat faster, and, somehow she feels that she's crossing a line she shouldn't cross, but...
Alison. - "I don't like that bride, she was very mean to you, so, let's steal the limelight of her wedding..."
Samara. - "What?!"
Alison. - "C'mon! It will be fun! It will be just like in high school!"
Samara. - "I never stole the limelight in high school..."
Alison smirks. - "But, I did..." (big smirk) "And, I love it..."
Samara wasn't sure, but, there's no way to say 'no' to this Queen Bee, so, she strutted along with Alison at her side, impressing everyone around, especially the Ex, because, after all, there's no one like Alison DiLaurentis...
*** Samara's narrative (voice-over) ***
Sometimes, we desire things we can't have, and, the stronger the desire, toughest it's to walk away from the temptation of crossing the line you never thought you would ever want to cross. And, there's nothing more difficult than finding the courage to not follow your desires...
Samara. - "I should go home, now..."
Alison. - "Am I really so bad company...?"
Samara shakes her head. - "No, in the contrary..." (She looks at her in the eyes, and, says) "You're really charming..."
Alison smiles, and, when Samara feels how fast her heart beats because of that smile, she knows that she needs to stop this before going any further that that...
Samara. - "I can't do this..."
Alison frowns. - "What are you talking about...?"
Samara tries to run away, but, Alison stops her, she forces her to look at her in the eyes...
Alison. - "Please do not leave like that, talk to me, tell me what is wrong, tell me..."
Samara cuts her off. - "That you make me blush...?"
Alison. - "Huh...?"
They stay face to face in silence for a moment, till...
Samara. - "I'm starting to like you, really like you. And, the more time we spend together, bigger gets my desire of seeing you..."
Alison blushes, she has no idea of what to say...
Samara. - "You're married. Normally that's a big 'no' in my list to fall in love with someone, but..."
Alison. - "But...?"
Samara sighs. - "But, I'm afraid that if I don't walk away from you right now. I'll cross a line that I don't want to cross..." (Deep sighs) "Well, I want to... I desire to... but, I shouldn't..."
(Awkward silence)
Alison. - "I... I don't know what to say..."
Samara. - "You don't have to say anything. Just let me go..."
And, that's what Alison was doing, she was letting her go, till...
Alison grabs Samara by the arm, and, says. - "Wait!"
Samara. - "What are you doing...?"
Alison. - "I... I..." (sighs) "I don't know..."
Samara softly caresses Alison's cheek, and, says. - "What do you desire to do...?"
Alison mumbles. - "I'm not sure..."
Samara locks her eyes over the soft lips of Alison, and, mumbles. - "I desire to kiss you..."
Alison freezes
Samara leans forwards, getting closer, and, says. - "I really, really desire to kiss you... and, you? What do you desire to do...?"
*** Alison's narrative (voice-over) ***
If there's one thing I've learned over the years, it's that it only takes one person, one decision, one moment to change your life forever, to change your perspective, color your thinking. To force you to re-evaluate everything you think you know. To make you ask yourself the toughest questions: Do you know what you want? Do you know what's, what you desire the most? One moment... one decision... the question is, what it's the choice, I desire to make in a moment like this...?
Samara was going to kiss her when Alison steps back, and, says...
Alison. - "I'm sorry... I... I can't..."
Samara sadly nods. - "I knew it... you're not a cheater..."
Alison. - "It's not just that, I might be angry at my wife right now. But, I'm still in love with her... I still desire to be with her, and, just her..."
Samara takes a deep breath, and, nods...
Alison looks down and sadly says. - "I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings..."
Samara smiles. - "It's okay... maybe in another life..."
Alison chuckles, she looks up, and, says. - "Yeah, maybe in an alternative universe, you could get stuck with me..."
Samara chuckles. - "Well, in that case, I don't believe that being stuck in love with you could be the worse thing in the world..."
Alison chuckles, their eyes meet, and, the blonde says...
Alison. - "So, I guess that this is the good-bye...?"
Samara nods. - "I hope you understand that I cannot keep being your therapist..."
Alison nods
Samara gets ready to leave, but, before she leaves she hugs Alison, and, then she leaves. Alison watches her leave, her phone rings, but, she ignores it, she just stays there, in the middle of the lobby, thinking...
*** Emily's narrative (voice-over) ***
We can't change the past. We have to learn from it, from our mistakes or we will wind up locked into a future we never choose. The past is written, there's no changing it. What's done is done, but the future is ours to choose, for better or worse... but, I wonder what will be... for better or for worse...?
(At the DiLaurentis-Fields House)
Emily hears the door, and, she rushes to the entry of the house. It's very late the kids are already asleep, but, she wasn't, she was waiting for the blonde who has refused to take her calls or reply to her texts all day long...
Emily. - "I called you..."
Alison sighs deeply, she takes off her coat, without saying a word...
Emily. - "Why you didn't call me back...?"
Alison doesn't reply, she walks towards the stairs in silence when...
Emily says very loudly. - "When are you gonna trust me again...?!"
Alison sighs. - "I... I don't wanna do this right now, Emily..."
The blonde starts walking away again, but, she stops when she hears...
Emily says with a heartbreaking voice. - "Just talk to me, Ali! Please?!"
Alison doesn't turn around, she just stays there, in silence, in the middle of the stairs...
Emily pleads. - "The silence..." (tears) "It's just..." (sobs) "I just don't know how much I can take..."
Alison takes a deep breath...
Emily. - "If you're trying to punish me... it's working... I..."
Alison. - "I almost kissed someone else today..."
Emily. - "WHAT?!"
Alison turns around, she's facing Emily, looking at her in the eyes when she says. - "Someone confessed its feelings towards me, and, this person tried to kiss me, but, we didn't kiss... I stepped back, away... I... I don't desire to kiss someone else..."
The eyes of the brunette get bigger of shock with the confession. Multiple scenarios pop up in Emily's mind, every new one, worse than the other. Emily wants to make so many questions, but, she's terrified to hear the answers to those questions...
Alison. - "Today, I had a great time with someone else. Nothing happened... I mean, we just talked, we danced, we ate cake..."
They stay in silence for a long moment, Alison is still in the middle of the stairs, without moving when...
Emily asks. - "With whom you...?"
Alison. - "Her name doesn't matter right now..."
Her... it's a 'she', and, jealousy spreads over Emily's heart like the worse poison that could exist on Earth...
Emily angrily says. - "Tell me her name! Tell me...!"
Alison. - "That I think she's pretty and nice...?"
Emily gulps hard, Alison caught her off guard with those words...
Alison. - "She's pretty... I've noticed that..."
Emily says with a shaky voice. - "Should I worry or something...?"
Alison. - "Should you worry that a pretty woman wanted to kiss me? No..."
Emily smiles, she feels like she can breathe again, but...
Alison. - "But... should you worry that for me, the time I spent with her today, it was the highlight of my week? Yeah, you should be worried about that..."
Emily gulps hard, her breathing becomes erratic, she has no clue how to process this information. The blonde resume her walk, climbing the stairs when she says...
Alison. - "Good night, Emily..."
Emily yells. - "Wait!"
Alison stops climbing the stairs...
Emily. - "You can't just tell me that, and, walk away!"
Alison turns around, their eyes meet...
Emily says with watery-eyes. - "How did we get to this point...?"
Alison sadly sighs. - "I don't know..."
Emily sadly mumbles. - "Can we fix this...?"
Both girls look down at the golden ring they have on their fingers, and, they've no clue to what to say at this moment till, they look up, and, their eyes meet again...
Alison sadly mumbles. - "I don't know..."
They stay in silence for a long moment till...
Emily. - "Maybe it would be better if I just left..."
Alison. - "Do you want to leave...?"
Emily. - "No... But, that day when you just hate me... I don't want that day to happen..."
Alison sighs. - "You, leaving the house, it will not make things any better, Emily..."
Emily steps forwards, climbing a step of the stairs. - "Then, what will make it better?! Tell me..."
Alison sadly says. - "I don't know..."
They stay in silence, looking at each other in the eyes when...
Emily. - "I love you..."
Alison. - "I know..."
Emily. - "And... do you still love me...?"
Alison. - "I do..."
Emily smiles
Alison. - "But, I don't trust you..."
Emily. - "You almost kissed someone else today, I shouldn't trust you either, but, I do..."
Alison. - "It's not the same, and, you know it. I'm telling you everything at the moment, I could have lied, I could have hid this from you, but, I didn't..."
The blonde takes a deep breath, she doesn't know what to say, so, she just turns around, she climbs the stairs, but, before getting into the guest room, she says...
Alison. - "Someone asked me today, what I desire. And, I realized that I desire to trust you again..." (She looks at Emily, and, says) "I want to trust you..."
Emily. - "And, there's nothing I desire more than that..."
*** Emily's narrative (voice-over) ***
Don't you wish you could just take it back? That thing you said? That thing you did? There's no undo button. There's only hope we can learn. We can change, right? We can do better. We can't take back what we've done. We can't undo the past, cause the future keeps coming at us, but, maybe we can remember the time when love was the only thing between you & me...
