CH 98 - One Step Too Far

*** Veronica's narrative (voice-over) ***

These last couple of days, I often ask myself: Am I into girls or boys? I go back and forth on that question a lot. Especially when these two don't stop fighting for my attention…

"Hey, V! I brought you pound cake! I made it with my mom last night and you have to try it, it's to die for!"

"Oh, okay, thank you, Betty… I didn't know you liked to bake or cook at all…"

To be honest the blonde doesn't put a foot inside the kitchen at all but that might change since she knows Veronica has a sweet tooth. A fact that gets confirmed with the young Hastings' moan because the cake tastes amazing. Of course, it was delicious like everything that's cooked by Alison and for once, Betty feels confident on getting extra points with this, but she's not the only one who has Alison like a mother…

"Veronica! Look who brought you lasagna!"

"Oh! I love your mom's lasagna! Thanks Wayne!"

It's lunch time and unlike the rest of the students, Veronica Hastings doesn't need to wait in line to get a meal, why bother to buy something in the cafeteria when she has these two DiLaurentis, filling her with free food, right? And, it's not just delicious food, what she's getting these days. Wayne is always giving her roses, or flowers, something nice, just like Betty, who has given her a beautiful bracelet with her name on it. Sounds familiar? Like mother, like daughter…

Anyway, that's how Veronica is these days, between these two all day long. Who doesn't love to get extra attention, right? Feeling desired, the center of the Universe is something good, that's what Veronica thought when these two siblings started their own rivalry about getting Veronica's attention. And, do not get it wrong, Veronica loves contests, she's a big fan of the bachelor tv show, but, there's a point where fantasy meets reality. And soon the reality is nothing like what she daydreamed of…

"Wayne, leave!"

"You might believe you rule this school, Betty, but I'm not leaving. I'm eating lunch with Veronica"

"Yeah, well. Me too, and I arrived first so back off!"

"Guys, we can eat all together, right?"

"Hell NO!"

Veronica rolls her eyes when she hears the negative from the two of them. Betty and Wayne, they don't tag along and now that they both want the same person, it's even worse. None of them have put it in words, but their intentions are clear. They want to be with Veronica, not like friends, like something more. But, the real question is, with whom Veronica really wants to be? Well, right now she wants to be out of this fight between the two of them so…

"Robin! I forgot I promised to eat with my sister today, so… bye!"

Before Betty and Wayne could protest, Veronica sneaks out of their table, looking for her dear sister who was looking adorable, staring from the distance at the girl who means the world to her…

"Alice…"

Robin Hastings whispers the name of the girl she adores when Veronica sits at her side.

"Wow, can you sound less in love, little sis?"

"What? I… I don't want to talk about that. Anyway, why did you leave your table? Aren't you supposed to have lunch with Betty and Wayne?"

"I… I don't want to talk about that either"

No one likes to talk about feelings. Love is so hard to understand and even harder to hide. And, maybe that's why Alison decided a long time ago, to stop fighting such a feeling. After all, you just get one true love, right? And, there's no bigger true love in town than the one of a mermaid and her Queen Bee who are just arriving home, right now…

"Mermaid, I'm home…"

With the kids at school, the house stays empty just for the two of them. They don't do it very often, but, sometimes, they make the time to meet like two secret lovers who can't wait to steal kisses from each other.

"Ali, that tickles"

The mermaid giggles when Alison buries her face in her neck. It's lovely to see how these two can still act like two horny teenagers even after all these years. And, talking about horny teenagers, there are noises coming from upstairs…

"Ali, did you hear that?"

Emily detaches herself from her wife, following the noises and, Alison groans, but decides to follow her.

"Mermaid, it's probably Pepe…"

It wouldn't be the 1st time that the dear dog would mess around while it's alone.

"It doesn't sound like Pepe…"

"Em, there's no A-, anymore, it's the dog, c'mon, I'm horny!"

"You're always horny"

"And, can you blame me? Look at you, so sexy, so grrr…"

Emily blushes when the blonde tries to get some clothes off, but the mermaid is not going to do anything naughty till they find the sources of those noises. Old habits die hard and of course the first instinct of the killer, Emily, it's to grab the first thing she has and use it as a weapon. Alison rolls her eyes when she sees Emily in all killer mode again, the brunette is overreacting, it's what the blonde thinks, but she also loves how overprotective the brunette is when Emily asks her to stay behind.

"Please, Ali, stay behind me, someone is in the house"

"Uhm, I love to get you from behind…"

The blonde holds her from behind, kissing the brunette's neck, not looking scared about the possible threat and Emily rolls her eyes when she notices that Alison is not taking this seriously at all.

"Ali, stop it…"

Before Alison could go one step too far on her teasing, they hear some whispers inside one of the rooms. Thinking someone got inside the house to rob them, they open the door, looking forward to scare the shit of any thief who has dared to enter into the QB' home but to their surprise, there's no thief to tear apart, just two scared teenagers who might have taken one step too far to take it back…

"Enzo, Hayley? Why aren't you at the school?"

Emily asks as soon as she finds the two teenagers, looking afraid, like a deer in front of headlights. And, they're not the only ones who look scared because Alison gets the same look when she notices the stick of plastic that Hayley has in her hand.

"It's that… a pregnancy test?"

Emily gasps in shock, no it can't be! They are just kids, they are… not replying to the question. And when you don't want to answer a question, what better way to avoid a subject than replying with another question, right?

"Why are you home earlier?"

Enzo tries to avoid the confrontation, changing the subject, but he will not get away with it, especially in front of the Queen Bee. Alison goes straight to the point, leaving very clear who's in charge and making the questions here.

"You're not in a position to ask questions, Enzo. Answer us why you've a pregnancy test in your hands?!"

Alison says with authority and the scared kid has no other choice than to open up, with watery eyes.

"Mommy, I… I'm so sorry, I…"

Enzo starts to cry and Alison holds him, she holds them both while Emily stays stiff, still in shock of what is happening and what might happen in the next 9 months.

Open dialogue, no stigmatization, no fear on talking about sex and sexuality. They did everything they were supposed to do, so what the hell did they do wrong? It's what these mothers ask themselves in front of this situation. They don't know what to do and maybe that's why they send an SOS to the group of friends. After all, this matter involves another liar of the group.

"Hanna…"

"When did we become these parents who have no idea what is happening under their roof?"

Emily sighs deeply when she hears her friend's question. The blonde is in shock and the brunette cannot stop feeling guilty about it, after all, she thought her son knew better.

"I guess now we know what our parents felt back then when we were teenagers"

"Em, you cannot compare! This is not -A, this is about two horny teenagers who are impulsive and secretive! Not thinking about the consequences of their actions!"

Hanna says and then the other blonde in the room adds…

"Doesn't ring the bell?"

Alison says. She doesn't want to sound sarcastic on the matter, but her natural mechanism of defense pushes her to show old habits.

"I'm sorry, Hanna, I didn't mean to…"

"I know what you meant, Ali. And, you're right, we as teenagers, we were not role models to follow. That's why I wasn't expecting our kids to follow our same steps. They are supposed to do better…"

"I know… I know…"

They stare at each other in silence till once again, it's Hanna, who breaks the silence when she asks…

"What do we do now?"

"We should tell Caleb, too, right?"

"Well, Em, if you're ready to get your kid killed, yeah, tell him; he's gonna freak out so much when he finds out her baby girl is having sex…"

Emily gulps hard, she wouldn't blame him, she would probably get the same reaction or worse if it was about one of their girls. Once again, they don't dare to say a word. After all, in a day, in an instant, everything changes, everything. You just have to step forward, even if you're too afraid where that step will bring you. One step at a time, they say when they meet with the rest of their friends, at Hanna's place.

And, no one else is more afraid to take a step too far than Spencer Hastings, who has been walking in circles since the moment she arrived at her friend's house. With a glass of wine in one hand and her phone in the other, trying to decide if she should or not call her wife, after all…

"I went too far, too fast, didn't I? I mean we had a great time the other night. And since then, nothing! Radio silence! Why?! I feel like Blair has been avoiding me. She's distant. I screw it up again, right? RIGHT?!"

Hanna rolls her eyes and just refills Spencer's glass when she says.

"Spence, calm down and please stop walking in circles, you're going to damage our new carpet if you keep doing that!"

Spencer rolls her eyes when Hanna scolds her, for once. When did their places reverse?

"We didn't call you to talk about your sex life, Spencer, but, to talk about the one of our kids"

"WHAT?!"

Aria and Spencer, they say in unison, Alison and Emily say nothing, but the way they share looks with Hanna, it says more than thousands of words.

"What is happening here?"

Aria asks and it's Emily, the one who shows a negative pregnancy test. Yes, it's negative, thank's God! But, that doesn't make the issue any better. The scare is a wake up call, they must change things after this and that's why all of them are here. After all, all of them have several teens who might be thinking or already having sex without them even knowing. They need to figure out what could be the best approach with the kids and, that's why Emily explains the event that led to this meeting.

"To be honest, I'm not surprised this involves Hanna some way"

"Hey! Aria, what does that even mean?"

"Sorry, Hanna but you're not the best on putting limits on your kids"

"Oh, yeah? And you do? Do I need to remind you, who caught her own kid on top of another DiLaurentis kid in the middle of her living room?"

"WHAT?!"

"Hanna! I told you that in confidence!"

Emily and Alison look shocked by this new revelation and now it's Aria who looks like a deer who's facing two headlights now that these two mothers are looking at her, expecting more specific details.

"Well, a few days ago, I came home earlier, I forgot my phone and I found Ava on top of Ollie…"

"My Ollie?"

Alison asks, still shocked to realize that her sweet little boy, the innocent kid who loves to play the piano might not be so innocent after all.

"Please do not tell Noel about this, he's capable of grounding Ava for life. I talked with Ava and Oliver, they promised me it will not happen again"

"And, do you believe them? C'mon Aria! They are teenagers! Of course they will tell you anything to get out of the hook, but I doubt they will stop making out, why didn't you tell us?"

Alison points out how hormones were for them and if their kids got the same sex drive than them, they're defintely screw up.

"I'm sorry, Ali. Oliver asked me to say nothing to you, guys"

"Why? I didn't even know our kids were dating…"

Emily admits it, she knows Ava has always been around Oliver, she's his biggest fan. Always going to all his piano recitals, but till now, Oliver hadn't shown any interest in the girl, no further than friendship. So, what happened? They wonder, well…

*** Flashback***

"Are you gay?"

"WHAT?!"

Oliver looks taken by the question. When Ava asked him to come over, he was expecting anything other than this question.

"So, are you? Or, you're just not attracted to me?"

Ava doesn't want to push Oliver to define his sexuality if he's not ready, but she's already at her limit. For years, she has been pining over this boy, hoping her constant presence will make him see her, the way she sees him but, nothing. Oliver has shown no interest in changing their friendship to something more and Ava needs to know if she even has a shot at all.

"Ollie, I like you, really like you. And, I need to know if you like me too, because every advance I try to do, you just ignore it and if I don't have a chance with you, then I would like to know"

"I… wait a minute! What advances?!"

Oliver looks surprised to find out that all this time, Ava has been trying to seduce him. Has he really been too naive to believe Ava's interest in him was just for the music? Any girl has a favorite rock star and the boy always thought he was nothing more than that for Ava Kahn but, he was wrong, so wrong.

"So, are you gay? Or, is it just me?"

To be honest, Oliver has never questioned his sexuality. He's into what, exactly? All his life has been the piano. He's a senior in high school and has never kissed anyone in his life. Neither, he has shown any interest in doing it. What does that say about him? And, now that Ava has pointed it out, he has no idea how to answer her question. What to reply? He doesn't know, but Ava has been bold enough to be honest and he should at least reciprocate with the same kindness.

"My life has always been the piano. I have never shown any interest in anything else. I haven't tried to kiss a girl or a boy, so I'm not sure what to say. If I'm gay or not. I don't know. I might be a weirdo for not wondering about it before, but, all I can say it's that I don't know. All I know is that I love to play the piano"

Life is more than just playing an instrument, it is one of the things Ava wants to say, but to be honest, another thing seems more important to clarify.

"You've never kissed anyone?"

Ava is surprised by the revelation, he's a senior after all. A shy but very sexy senior, she knows too well that she's not the only one pinning badly for him, he has a big group of fans in the school and Instagram. So how is it possible that he has never kissed anyone? She cannot believe it, but Oliver never lies, he might be oblivious, but he's not a liar, and now that the virginity of his lips is on the open, Ava cannot stop, staring at those tender lips that no one has ever kissed.

The predatory look of the girl makes him blush a lot, he's sweating now that he sees Ava staring at his lips. And, he reciprocates the same look towards her when Ava admits she hasn't kissed anyone either. But, she would like pretty much if Oliver could change that now.

"O-oh-okay…"

Oliver stammers, eyes on Ava's mouth while his mind wonders what will feel to taste those tender lips. She's younger than him and yet, she's bold enough to move forwards and steal his, their first kiss since according to her, Oliver was overthinking it.

She takes him with the guard down when she introduces her tongue inside of his mouth and a short-circuit happens in his brain when their lips touch. And, he might be taken by Ava's actions, but one thing is sure now, he's not gay, oh, he's not gay at all! Especially when his body reacts to Ava without second thoughts.

"Ollie!"

Ava chuckles, looking happy when she notices the tent in his pants. The timid Oliver DiLaurentis tries to hide it, but the teen girl stops him, there's no reason to look ashamed. The boy who has shown no interest in touching anything else besides the keys of a piano, now, looks curious to touch something else for the first time in his life.

"Is this okay?"

Oliver asks, hesitating on holding her hand, he would never put a finger on the girl without consent and that makes Ava to love him even more if it's possible. And, while the timid Ollie looks hesitant to go further, a very bold Ava has no hesitation at all to get her hands on the young pianist.

"Cold! cold, cold! Ava!"

Oliver looks very surprised how fast Ave pulls off his T-shirt. Without a T-shirt, he feels cold while Ava feels extremely hot. Especially when she notices the perfect abs of the boy. The girl gasps, surprised, happily surprised with the muscular body of the young DiLaurentis. And, he might not be as athletic as his brother, Wayne, but he likes to be in good shape.

"Ava, are you drooling? A- - -Ava!"

Like a lion, Ava dashes forward, pushing Oliver to lay down over the sofa while she's on top of him. One kiss becomes two and before they know it, Ava is already sitting over Oliver's lap without a top. So lost in each other that they miss to notice the person who's entering the home, looking for her phone.

"OMG! AVA! Ollie?!"

"Mom!"

"H-Hi, aunty Aria!"

*** End of the flashback ***

And, that's how Aria found them before things could escalate any further. Alison looks pissed to find out about this till now, and Emily's denial is not making it better. Aria, Hanna and Alison start a heated discussion and since Emily is too shocked to control her wife, well, Spencer feels the need to step in and like old times, act like the leader of the group.

"SHUT UP!"

"Do not shut me up, Spencer!"

Alison's anger is now towards the dear Hastings but that anger is put down when Spencer points out that venting against each other is not helpful and she might feel frustrated, but Aria is not the one to blame if Oliver wanted to keep this from them.

"They're probably scared of you, Ali. And, looking at the way you're reacting right now, you cannot blame them…"

Alison angrily pouts, she crosses her arms and looks away while Spencer points out another fact.

"Do you see the common denominator?"

"What do you mean?"

Spencer points out the common denominator in both events: a DiLaurentis kid, and all the eyes lie now in the couple who's planning to have a serious, very serious talk with all the kids who're living under their roof.

Back at home, Emily says to her wife…

"Deep breaths, Ali, deep breaths…"

Alison rolls her eyes, it's the 3rd time Emily asks her to do breathing exercises.

Responsibility. It can't be avoided. Either someone makes you face it or you suffer the consequences of your own actions. And, in the case of the DiLaurentis, it's time to face it before they get another scare, before any of them make a step too far. And with that in mind, Alison and Emily call for a family meeting that evening. The entire family is reunited for a family talk and all the kids look at each other, wondering what is the reason for what looks like a big intervention.

"What did you do this time, Betty?"

"What?! I did nothing, Wayne! Why am I always the one to blame?"

Betty starts to argue with her siblings when everyone blames her for this family meeting. But, just because she's always the most problematic of them all, it's not reason enough to think she's the reason why they're here, sitting on the sofa in the living room, waiting for their mothers to start the talk. Emily is too timid to start the conversation and that's why Alison takes the lead, admitting that this talk is not because of something Betty did.

"See, I told you!"

Wayne rolls his eyes and everyone looks confused because what other reasons could bring up such an emergency meeting? They've no clue till Emily shows them a condom and… a cucumber?

"Mermaid, what happened to the banana?"

"I ate it…? Sorry! You know I get hungry when I'm nervous…"

Alison rolls her eyes and takes the cucumber away from her wife before she eats it too.

"What is happening?"

Oliver whispers with big eyes and Wayne replies, already remembering how this conversation went, the first time.

"I think they're planning to give us the talk again…"

"OMG! Please! Not again! I'm still traumatized by our first sex talk!"

Betty says, already standing up, ready to leave, but before she could make a step, Alison stops her and gives the order to sit and listen.

"Why?!"

"Well, you don't have a choice! You need to be reminded about the use of a condom"

"Again, why?"

Emily and Alison exchange looks, they are not sure if they should tell why so, Alison just makes sure to shut down the discussion and compels everyone to listen. She and Emily have no experience about the mechanics between a man and a woman, but they got as many pamphlets as possible from the clinic.

"I want you to read them and talk about it with us, or Granpa Wayne if you feel more comfortable to talk about it, with him"

Emily doesn't want to delegate this kind of thing to her father, but maybe the boys might feel more comfortable to ask questions to another man.

"You're teens, we cannot ask you to not do it, but we can ask you to not take it lightly. Sex is more than feeling great, it's about connecting with someone, and not only physically speaking"

Alison says and for once, one of the kids takes interest in what she says.

"What do you mean?"

Alice asks, the baby of the family is the one who's taking this conversation more seriously than the rest of the siblings. And, Emily gulps hard, wondering if her little baby girl is already thinking about having sex. Maybe she really needs to get out of the attic the rifle her father gave her. And, while the brunette is already imagining how to scare any horny teen who might try to get Alice's V-card, Alison takes once again the lead on the talk and replies to Alice.

"Well, Alice, with sex, you make an emotional connection with someone. Even if you think it's just for fun. It's important to think about how it makes you feel, how the other person will feel about it, too. When you're intimate with somebody that way, you're exposing yourself, you're vulnerable and it's scary. When I was your age, there was nothing that scared me the most than being vulnerable with someone else"

Alison recalls those days and how she always hesitated on crossing that line with Emily but, when she did it, it was the best decision of her life because she did it with the right person, her soulmate. But, can their kids have the same luck as her, finding their soulmate at a young age? She doesn't know, she can just hope for the best.

"Anyway, what I'm trying to say it's that it's important you realize that having sex, it means something. Being with someone always means something. It's not just sex. It's doing something to your body, to someone else's body, to your heart, to your self-esteem, so, I think that it'd be a perfect 30th's bday gift for all of you…"

"Ali…"

Emily chuckles, finding cute how Alison tries to persuade them to avoid sex till their 30's. And, Alison rolls her eyes, she knows she's asking too much, especially because they know that at least Enzo is already having sex and probably Oliver is already thinking to do the same? Alison is not ready to see herself as a grandmother and she hopes the kids will be safe and responsible enough to not get pregnant at a young age, but more than that, she hopes to make their kids understand one thing…

"Sex is more than feeling ready or horny to do it. It's a way to connect to another person. So, I just hope you don't take it lightly, do not throw yourself around like it doesn't matter because it does. You matter and everything you do to your body matters"

The kids nod and the conversation continues. Some questions are answered, some more stories get out to the light and while this family is having a big conversation, another liar is planning to have an important talk too, just another kind of talk.

Spencer is outside Rosewood hospital, overthinking if she should step in or not, till she decides to just go for it.

"Oh, fuck it!"

Spencer says to herself while she steps into the hospital, looking for Dr. Blair Sloan. The dear doctor has been MIA since their sexy night together. And, Spencer is not the kind of woman who waits at home for the call. If Blair doesn't come to her, she will come to her, or at least that's what she was planning to do when a little brunette blocked her path.

"Mona! What are you doing here?"

"Well, like I said in my last email, I had a meeting today with the hospital since It's time you make some public appearances and what better way to make people believe you care about them than getting a set of photos with a bunch of sick kids. Believe me, Spencer, you've no idea, the good publicity will give you a few pictures with some kids. Oh! bald heads even better!"

Spencer rolls her eyes, she didn't come for this and for some reason she doesn't look surprised to see that Mona is still working on her campaign for Governor. The little brunette has already scheduled a date with the hospital board even when Spencer told Mona she was out, she's not running for Governor anymore, but, just like Spencer, Mona is not giving up on her dreams. And, this little brunette will do till the impossible to have this big win, even crossing some lines like, involving the doctor who wants nothing to do with politics…

"Blair already said yes to the set of photos"

"You didn't…"

"What? Ask your wife to look pretty so she can pose at your side as the sexy, amazing, power couple you're? Yes, I did and you can thank me later"

Spencer doesn't look happy, she looks pissed because this is what caused problems in her marriage in the first place. She promised Blair that all this circus was over and now, Mona goes behind her back and puts this in motion? Oh, hell no! She will not lose the progress she has made, to win Blair back because of this and she plans to make sure Mona gets the message, right now.

"You went one step too far, Mona…"

"You hired me because I always make the extra mile"

"I'm not running for Governor any more! I told you I was out!"

"You say that and yet, you haven't sent the papers to formally get out of the race"

Spencer is taken by the reminder of her lack of actions. It's true that she hasn't officially done the paperwork. And, sometimes, she wonders if that's because she's still not able to commit at 100% with her marriage and family. Maybe, she's not in a position to ask Blair to give her another chance. Maybe she's not ready to quit politics after all.

Standing there, Spencer is having an internal debate with herself about what step to take. Thankfully, one person makes it clear to her, when she walks towards them.

"Blair…"

The dear doctor walks towards them with a shy smile. And that's all Spencer needed to realize she can quit to anything other than this amazing doctor.

"Spencer, Mona, hi! The photo session is not tonight, right?"

She wasn't happy to do this because it felt fake, but the moment Mona said it was for Spencer's happiness, well damn, Blair knew there was no way she would say no to pose for a picture or a bunch of pictures. She would do anything for Spencer, anything because…

"I love you, Spencer"

"You do?! You still love me?"

Blair gulps hard, her brain must be very tired because she wasn't planning to say out loud her feelings, but, there's no turning back, she said it and now she has to face it.

"I… Mona, can you give us a moment?"

"You're not my boss, Blair"

"Mona back off, now…"

The little brunette rolls her eyes and steps back when Spencer orders her to do it. Now, alone, face to face after days without speaking. They don't find their words. Starting a conversation you've rehearsed in your mind a thousand times should be easy but it's not. At least not till you let your heart speak for you.

"I love you, Spencer…"

"You do?"

"Yeah, and I'm sorry if I haven't been around, I needed time to deal with my feelings too, but that shouldn't be new for you. I realized my love for you hasn't changed at all, but I don't think love was ever the issue between us, you know?"

Spencer nods, they haven't fallen out of love, but that doesn't mean that they are on a good track. The dear Hastings has amends to do and mostly, she has to prove with actions what are her priorities. And, what better way to prove what is really dear to her right now than kissing the dear doctor while she says 'I love you too'.

"I love you too, and I'm planning to kiss you, to fuck you every day, every moment I can so you never doubt, you and our girls are my priorities, now & forever"

Blair blushes hard. This new vow is refreshing, it's a turn on. And, it's the reason why the young Hastings dismisses the photo session and finally sends the email, announcing she's out of the race to be Governor. Something that doesn't make Mona happy at all. After all, the little brunette has been so invested in the project to be the Chief Assistant of the new governor that she cannot tolerate the idea of seeing Spencer, walking away from their dream, her dream, just like that.

"Spencer! You cannot quit now!"

"Mona, I already told you, it's over! I'm done with politics!"

"No! I don't accept that! The past 2 years, I've dedicated my life to you and your campaign! And now that we're so close to getting what we desire the most, you're telling me, it's over?!"

"I'm sorry, Mona but what I desire the most is to save my marriage and spend real time with my kids, nothing will change my mind"

She looks at Blair and says with a smile…

"You're what I desire and nothing more…"

"Are you sure? I mean, I don't want you to walk away from your dream, Spencer, I…"

"You've supported me from the moment we met. You've always put me first and now, I want to put you first. Why spend the next couple the years getting angry with a bunch of stubborn politics when I can spend all that time with you, loving you, loving each other"

Blair smiles and just like that, she holds the hand of the woman who still takes her breath away, every time.

"Let's go home, then…"

Spencer smiles and nods.

"Yeah, let's go home…"

They walk away, leaving behind a very pissed Mona. Some things never change and just like in the past, the little brunette feels mistreated by one of the liars. Is she gonna let it go or is there gonna be a retaliation for it, just like before? Mona vs. Spencer, we've seen that before and we know how that ended but, maybe a rematch will end differently? Will old habits come back? Hard to say what will be the next move of Ms. Vanderwaal. But, something is sure, this is not the last time the liars will hear from her.

And, just like Mona, another girl in town feels mistreated by a Hastings. Taylor, the girl who was supposed to be the leader of the cheerleaders, is finding it hard to keep her leadership since Veronica Hastings joined the team.

"She has good new ideas"

"She has better choreographies"

"She treats us better''

'She… she… SHE!' Taylor is so tired to hear over and over how the entire team likes Veronica Hastings more than her. Somehow, Veronica can do everything better than her?! No way! She's the captain and yet, all the members of the team follow Veronica's lead? Well, that ends now! If Veronica has no issue to mess with what is precious to her well, Taylor will also not hesitate to do the same.

Revenge is in the works in Rosewood, nothing new at all. There has always been a love of scheming in this town. And, Taylor has all the intentions to break what is not broken, starting with Veronica's family.

It has its perks to live in Mona's house and get access to all the stories Mona had to shut down as bad propaganda in Spencer's campaign. The Hastings have very juicy secrets and one in particular catches Taylor's eye. A story, telling the truth about Veronica's biological father and all the horrors he did as AD. Veronica knows she's actually the daughter of Spencer's big sister who died giving birth. But, she has no idea the kind of monsters her parents were till now, now that the story is posted in all the lockers of the school.

"Why is everyone looking at me weird?"

Veronica asks her sister, Robin, when they entered the school. They completely ignore what everybody is reading till the whispers around them get louder and louder…

"OMG! Run! Veronica, the daughter of the psychopath, is here! Run, run for your lives!"

Everyone starts to laugh and Veronica doesn't understand why this mockery is happening.

"What the hell is going on here?! What are you talking about?"

Veronica doesn't understand till she gets to her locker and sees the copy of a newspaper article. She shakes her head, not wanting to believe anything of what she's reading.

"V…"

"It's not true! It cannot be true, right? Robin?!"

Robin is not sure what to say, how to protect Veronica from all of this. But, she doesn't need to move a finger when Wayne and Betty arrive. Just one stare of Betty and no one dares to make another joke. And, while the blonde DiLaurentis is infringing fear, Wayne is getting rid of all the papers. For the first time in their short life, they make a good team. They have a goal in common: protect Veronica from any harm. And thankfully, they've their siblings and all the rest of the big squad to help.

Aria's kids, Hanna's kids, all the kids, they're a big family, they're there for each other and if you mess with one of them, then you mess with all of them. And, that's a step too far, no one had dared to take till now.

"Who could have done this?"

Everyone wonders, and they don't know how the rumor spreads faster, even when they got rid of all the papers. All the gossip around her, the bad looks, it's too much to handle and that's why before lunch breaks, Veronica leaves the school, running as fast as she can, without turning back.

"Veronica! Wait!"

Betty yells, but the brunette doesn't listen, she runs to hide as if she had done something wrong when she hasn't done anything at all. The blonde wants to run after her, but she desires more to know who's responsible for this. No one has perfect parents, but this is not the way to find out you're linked with monsters. This is cruel, too cruel to be happening. And, that's how Betty knows exactly who's behind this.

"Taylor…"

Betty clenches her jaw, looking at the girl who's enjoying too much to see Veronica is leaving the school like a scared kitten.

"Taylor!"

"What the hell, DiLaurentis?!"

Taylor gets upset when the other blonde pushes her against the locker. Betty gives her a lethal gaze when she angrily says…

"You went one step too far, Taylor…"

"I don't know what you're talking about…"

"Do not play with me, you're the one who's behind all these rumors about Veronica"

"They aren't just rumors, it's the truth…"

Betty gets even angrier now that Taylor shows no remorse for the pain she's causing. And, if that is the case, well then this is war!

"You'll pay for this, Taylor!"

"Yeah? And, what are you gonna do about it?"

Betty could kick her ass, she has done it before, but no, Taylor deserves to be served with a dose of her own medicine.

They say every action has an equal and opposite reaction, and it's true. The actions of today will set in motion something which will help to build the momentum of something big… something epic.
