Okay since some of you were wondering what her second wish was, it was to basically give her the same immortality as a freed genie, without having to be trapped in the lamp first. I was trying to figure out the best way to word that until I realized that it was easier to write the effect of the wish. The next chapter is the final one!

It had been six months, and Fleur was inviting them to a wedding. Specifically hers, as she had been dating Bill on the side while working for Gringotts.

Acacia was giddy, as she was dressed up properly for the wedding (Fleur insisted they coordinate their outfits and they went on a shopping spree) and she was going with her own betrothed.

Jamil had, with the assistance of Sirius and the permission of the Sisterhood, gone to the bank and had a proper betrothal contract written up. He was old fashioned that way, and he absolutely refused to sleep with her until after the wedding.

The Sisterhood, rather than be offended by this, cooed at how gallant he was being because he was upfront about the entire thing and was mostly staying hands-off about their future wedding so long as he was permitted to wear something to his tastes.

Considering he favored Gryffindor color schemes and subdued outfits, that made coordinating things a lot easier.

Mrs. Weasley was understandably annoyed, but she was so happy about her eldest being married she ignored this. Regardless of how...Slytherin...Jamil was, he genuinely loved Acacia and had set clear boundaries she approved of. Even if she was a bit surprised he was planning to take her last name, he was old fashioned enough that she could tentatively approve of him.

The wedding was gorgeous and giving her ideas.

"I still can't believe how things are going. I mean it's been insane at work with how many families have been scrambling to sort out the inheritance situation," said Bill over dinner.

"How so?" asked Acacia, mildly interested.

"Well for starters, a number of heads and heirs were wiped out in short order...people have been coming out of the woodwork to claim inheritances and even squibs are suddenly cashing in," said Bill. "It's been a logistics nightmare as we've all been working overtime tracking down bloodlines and new heirs and walking them through the claiming process."

"Sounds like you've been busy. I hope the goblins are paying you overtime," said Acacia.

Bill grinned.

"How did you think we were able to afford this wedding? Fleur's parents paid for the bride's side of things, but thanks to all the hard work I've made enough money that we'll be updating the Burrow soon. New wards included."

"Sounds like you have fun," said Acacia.

"What about you dear? What are you planning to do once you've completed your NEWT's?" asked Molly.

"Jamil and I are planning to explore the world a bit and see what options are available for mastery," said Acacia. "Considering the headaches in England and the recent upheaval, it's a tad too dangerous to look closer to home for someone to teach me a field."

"You're not going to become an auror?" said Ron.

Acacia rolled her eyes.

"I only said that in front of the bitch to piss her off. Cleaning up after people is not my thing, and honestly it sounds dead boring. I'd rather see what the world has to offer first."

"I for one would like to track down where my sister is," said Jamil. "I haven't seen her in quite some time, but knowing her she's likely to pop out of the woodwork again once she hears I have a fiance."

Nasira wasn't likely to leave that sort of rumor lying down. She would pop up if only to find out what was going on...especially after what happened with his ex.

(Jafar still shuddered at the thought of his ex...he had almost sworn off women entirely after it.)

"So when is the wedding?" asked Fred.

"Due to how much of a headache planning weddings are, we're going to wait until after I pass my NEWT's. That way we'll have plenty of time and I won't have any impending exams to stress out over in between planning," said Acacia.

Molly looked at her with approval. While she didn't fully approve of Jamil for a few reasons, she did approve of the fact that he was willing to wait until after she had passed her exams to have the wedding, and that he was firm on waiting until the honeymoon before they engaged in any physical activity.

Acacia was heading back from getting groceries when a voice called out to her.

"Care to have your fortune told?" said a voice.

Her internal radar for trouble went off at full blast. However something told her that it would be worth her while to approach the woman anyway.

It was the eyes really. They were too old and they reminded her of her fiance.

"Five sickles for you fortune told," said the woman.

Acacia wandered over to the stall, and her suspicions that this was Jafar's sister skyrocketed the closer she was to the other woman.

She handed over five sickles, and let the woman read her fortune.

"I see the wings of destiny about you. You have an unusually heroic fate," said the woman.

Acacia had to resist the urge to snort, as she had known that since the moment she first entered Hogwarts. It took everything in her to keep a straight face as Jafar's sister tried to create an all knowing atmosphere.

Finally she couldn't take it anymore and said "Luna pulls off the mysterious knowing atmosphere better...and did you really think I wouldn't immediately peg you as his sister the second you called out to me?"

Rather than be offended, Nasira smirked.

"Well you're not the usual half-witted heroic type that I have to deal with who take offense to my occupation," she replied, dropping most of the act.

Acacia rolled her eyes at that.

"So long as you don't target innocents or children, you'll have no problems from me. The world is overpopulated at this point anyway, and I highly doubt you'd be foolish enough to target anyone I actually care about so why should I waste my time rescuing someone I don't know?"

Nasira beamed at her... her brother had attached himself to someone with actual sense.

"Would you like to get some tea?" she asked hopefully.

"I'd be delighted to."

Nasira found the girl an absolute delight, and the expression on Jafar's face when he realized his sister had tracked them down rather than them having to do it was hilarious, before he became exasperated.

"Of course your luck would lead her straight to us," he deadpanned.

"Actually it was your familiar," said Nasira amused. "I put a tracking spell on him after I cursed him because he wouldn't stop complaining, and after the devices I used to keep track of your lamp suddenly died I knew something had happened."

Iago glared at her, and she was unimpressed.

"I like her. I approve, brother."

Well that was one potential headache averted.

"Jamil said you were well familiar with rituals involving the dead. Do you know of any way to deal with an annoying parasite that won't take the hint and pass on?"

"Depends on the parasite really," said Nasira, stirring her tea.

"She had a phylactery inside of her actual body, and that annoying pest of a genie removed it without being asked," deadpanned Jafar. "From what I could tell, the idiot had made several of them."

Nasira's expression said volumes.

"Please tell me you're joking and someone isn't that stupid," she said.

Jafar and Acacia's expression said they weren't.

"I'd need an item that contains a fragment of the soul in question, or something with strong enough ties to them," said Nasira immediately. "Considering the location and likely source of the magic used, odds are we're dealing with one of Herpo the Foul's usual bungling."

"The same fool who made the basilisk?" asked Acacia.

Nasira nodded.

"Why do I have the feeling you know more than you let on?" sighed Jafar.

"Where do you think he learned half his dark arts from? I'm not exactly celibate you know," she shot back. "The idiot decided he had learned all he needed after he created those silly horcruxes of his, only to learn the hard way that the ancient rituals have ties to some very vindictive old gods and they don't like it when people don't give them the proper ritual first."

Herpo was still suffering in his own personal hell. Nasira would view it when she had a particularly bad day.

As it so happened, Sirius happened to find something that didn't belong to the Black family and Kreacher (the house elf tied to his line) threw an absolute fit. It took a lot of careful wording, but the end result was the same.

Nasira took one look at the locket and smirked, as she could sense the dark magics infesting it.

Coincidentally Sirius was all too happy to sell her the London town house because she knew damn well how to handle the dark artifacts he wanted nothing to do with, and mostly just removed the personal items, books and sentimental things.

Kreacher was happy to have a proper mistress again, Sirius was happy to be rid of a place that held nothing but bad memories, and Nasira was pleased because she had a new home for cheap in the country her soon-to-be sister-in-law would likely be frequenting in that they could visit.

(Coincidentally Sirius's mother took one look at the woman and highly approved of her, even if she was a foreigner.)

She was well and truly free of that nuisance. All without once having to deal with Dumbledore's nonsense.

Acacia was relieved when she finally finished her exams. Jafar was taking her on an extended vacation on a Black family island to celebrate.

After about two weeks, Acacia noticed some activity happening in the opposite side of the island while flying on Carpet.

Now, as a way to distract herself from studying she had jokingly looked at wedding magazines and other books. She had even talked to Jafar, mostly in jest, about using their birds to fly the flowers down the aisles and have Iago hand them the rings since he was able to do so. After all, they didn't know of any children to perform the task.

Suspecting what was going on, Acacia decided a special visit to Gabrielle was in order.

With Gabrielle and Fleur...

The sisters originally panicked, thinking they were busted for the surprise...until Acacia explained what she wanted.

"You want us to enlighten Jamil on how to look up your search history on certain sites?" said Gabrielle stunned.

Fleur, after a moment, just started laughing. Jamil was extremely old fashioned, so it made sense Acacia wanted her first time to be memorable and to avoid some of the pitfalls of having to explore each other's kinks right off the bat.

He was more than old enough to know what to do, and Acacia was slowly learning exactly what she liked via the wonders of the internet and being old enough to know how to access such sites.

Besides, as a genie he had limited access to how much things had changed since his time.

Nasira, when she happened to overhear that request, had great difficulty breathing from how amused she was. Jafar had a few lovers before (the most notable being her) but compared to modern women their kinks were extremely tame. The idea of his future wife asking her sisters to clue him in on what she liked before they were even wed was downright hilarious to her.

"Well if you're going to do that, then perhaps I should give you a head's up on what few things I know he likes," said Nasira, amused.

Acacia seemed to materialize a notebook with interest. Nasira wanted to laugh harder, but instead told her as much as she could recall about her brother...and more importantly what to avoid.

If Jafar noticed the odd shiver down his spine, he said nothing about it later. As it was, it took him a few hours to get the hang of looking up the search history...and getting over the disbelief that people had become so brazen about their bedroom activities that they would post it for perfect strangers to look at.

(He wouldn't learn it had been Acacia's idea until after the honeymoon when he made a comment on it.)

Jafar was rather pleased that certain customs hadn't changed overly much. The venue was decorated beautifully and none of Acacia's friends and family overly complained much about the red and gold color scheme, as they were Gryffindor colors with a Middle Eastern decoration theme.

Jafar had gone over a few things with Sirius, Andromeda and Narcissa while Acacia studied for her NEWT's.

Acacia had zero interest in politics. Jafar found them a delightful way to spend his hours, so long as he wasn't beholden to a complete idiot who destroyed his hard work without a second thought.

With that in mind, Acacia had no problem allowing her soon-to-be husband full control over her seats in the Wizangamot, so long as he made decisions she approved of. He enjoyed it and knew more than she did about what he was doing, so it worked out. She was more interested in physical activities like martial arts, dancing and just plain moving.

Which was why Jafar spent hours with Narcissa (who survived Acacia's wish with begrudging respect to the younger woman), Andromeda and Madam Longbottom going over what they could tell him about the surviving members.

Once he married Acacia and took her place in the Wizangamot, it would only be a matter of time before the Potter/Black proxy ruled the 'esteemed' council with the same power he held as the Grand Vizier.

He couldn't become the head of the council, but hiring a proxy in his place was child's play and far more satisfying because he kept his hands clean.

Iago and Hedwig were waiting at the end of the aisle for the music to begin. In between their claws were baskets that would scatter the flowers that the Sisterhood had insisted were traditional, as they claimed rose petals were 'too tacky and overused'.

Jafar had looked up the flowers they were using and had approved of them without a second thought, as the Sisterhood had used floriography to convey how he felt about his wife without relying on a common rose.

Hearing the music begin, Jafar looked down the aisle...and his breath caught.

How had he gotten so lucky to find such a beautiful woman who would not only free him from his curse, but agree to marry him?

Acacia's dress was done in tasteful shades of white that shimmered in the light. Closer inspection revealed that the glimmers he saw were crystals...diamonds, to be exact. Acacia's shoes were sandals disguised as heels, giving her a bit of height.

Jafar could feel the happiness and love in her eyes as she looked at him.

Iago and Hedwig proceeded Acacia down the aisle, with Sirius looking half a step away from bawling his eyes out because his pup was getting married. He knew James would be so proud of her and Lily would be eager to have as many grandbabies as she could get from the two.

Remus looked just as emotional, but at least he had a date. Nymphadora kept giving him looks, as she had basically ambushed him on the idea of going as her date to the wedding.

Andromeda didn't exactly approve, mostly due to the age difference, but as long as her daughter was happy she would learn to live with it.

Beside Jafar was his sister Nasira, while Neville stood beside Acacia with Hermione and Gabrielle beside him.

He barely paid any real attention to the actual ceremony. He had the parts memorized and his full attention was on his bride.

He could feel her happiness and love radiating off her in waves, and the ritual they used for the binding ceremony responded better than it normally did.

Being announced as "Jamil Black" had a nice ring to it. He didn't even mind that he had taken on her surname, since technically he didn't have one anymore.

Jafar would have slipped out of the reception with his new bride to start their honeymoon early...if Nasira hadn't given him looks that promised a painful retribution for it.

Later that night...

Jafar looked at his new wife, dressed up in special garments prepared by his sister. She had already taken the special birth control, so there wouldn't be any...accidents.

As much as he liked the idea of having children, he wanted to thoroughly enjoy his wife without the headache of raising any for the first few years. Besides, just because she could easily afford several of them didn't meant she had to. Not when she was only seventeen, especially when teenage pregnancies took such a toll on the mother.

"Now then...how shall I worship my beloved?" purred Jafar.

Seeing her writhe and hear her call out his actual name was such a delight. Knowing he was her first (and only), more so.

By the end of that night, Acacia was a sore, but satisfied witch who had no inclinations to leave their marital bed for the next week.
