A/N: I'm really sorry for not updating. Last week's been very tiring, I'm beat. I apologize for not updating, and thank you for the guests who reviewed! This is a long chapter, I hope you enjoy!
dannyfenton598: Thank you!
Tay24: Sure! Thanks!
"Now, settle down." Red chuckled witnessing the horror in each person, except for Larissa who was cringing like she had experieced something similar like the scene in her youth. Thornhill was fidgety in her seat, she couldn't stop herself from tapping her red boots in a nervous manner, she can't help but feel trapped inside here.
"The rumours are enough, I wished I hadn't seen it." Enid covered her mouth, her eyes twitching in discomfort.
"C-can I go to the bathroom?" She asked. Red nodded. "But be quick, we're gonna play the next in 2 minutes." Red said and Enid practically ran towards the bathroom.
"Okay guys, make yourself comfortable, we're now starting. Get snacks and drinks! This is the time when Wednesday first went to Nevermore!" Red squealed. Eugene beside her was grinning, Xavier and Tyler perked with interest, Bianca rolled her eyes and Yoko whistles. Kent and Divina are neutrals, so are some Nevermore students. But some are also excited, Wednesday is really pretty and it makes her popular even if she's a homicidal sociopath, but only she doesn't knew, she's an Addams for gods' sake.
"Can I have a notepad and a pen? I thought that this technology might be of use to my investigation." Wednesday spoke, staring straight at Red. This is useful, but I won't make myself a slave to technology, this is only an exception, she thought. Red turned to her and smiles. "Here." The Goddess handed her a black notepad and pen. Wednesday wasted no time and scribbled on the notepad.
A minute later Enid came out of the bathroom still shaken but looking better than before. Red waved at her and the colorful she-wolf waved back. Everyone settled and the monitor lit up.
(A/N: I'll skip the intro since it contains spoilers in my own opinion, since Wednesday is a genius and an amateur detective, it won't be that hard for her to decipher the meaning of the intro. Especially the carnivorous plant, the flower (nightshade, I think) and the moon, it's really pointing out to Laurel Gates.)
The scene starts off from a road, aradio squawks, playing "In Dreams" by Roy Orbison. A black vehicle was seen moving on the road, a Packard V-12 with luggage ontop of the car. The Addams family's ride.
I close my eyes
Then I drift away
"Cool ride you got there Addams." Yoko smirked. The said girl she remained silent.
Wednesday was shown gazing out the window as a voice sang along with the music.
Xavier leaned forward and Ajax, who was beside him, leaned too.
"Why are you leaning?"
"Because you leaned?"
"What?"
"Huh?"
Bianca rolled her eyes at the psychic and gorgon duo.
"Into the magic night."
She glanced and the scene changed towards her parents, making the viewers see that it is her father, Gomez Addams, was the one singing with the music.
"I softly say." Gomez held his wife's hand. Morticia smiles and they both sang like a duet. "A silent prayer."
Wednesday grimaced. Her stay in Nevermore at first is terrible, but as the weeks go on it turned somewhat tolerable and pleasing, since she is currently investigating a serial murder crime. It was also a bonus that she doesn't get to watch her parents show their undying love for each other. Wednesday fought a sneer when she watched the whole thing play.
The inside of the car was shown. Lurch was driving, Pugsley was beside him. That leaves Wednesday sitting infront of her parents at the back seats.
"Oohh your driver's kinda attractive." Divina said in a sing-song voice, Kent nudged her and scowled.
"What's his name? Where did he live? Oohh, is he single? He's so big!" Divina gushed.
"His name is Lurch, he's out butler. He lives with us ever since I first inhaled the atmosphere on this dreadful world." The goth girl said, sullen eyes narrowed at the monitor.
"Like dreamers do" Morticia and Gomez gazed at each other so inlove.
"Then I fall asleep to dream" The parents sang beautifully, while Wednesday looks like she rather wants to be elsewhere than being infront of her parents, the deadpan look.
Wednesday look as what she did on the screen. Xavier couldn't help but laugh at the look on Wednesday's face.
"Mr. and Mrs. Addams never changed, huh?" Xavier smiles.
"Unfortunately."
"My dreams of you" Morticia and Gomez choruses and Wednesday was shown closing her eyes, irritated in Wednesday's emotional vocabulary.
"You look so done, Addams." Bianca chuckled. Wednesday pursed her lip.
"I remember" A bird chirps and the car was shown, suddenly series of birds hit their car, and the flying mongrels thud in time to music when they was hit.
"T-the birds..."
"That you said goodbye..." It shows Morticia snapping along the music, the scene shifts towards the birds rolling from heir car to the road, they twitches and a feeble tweeting was heard.
It shows Morticia and Gomez leaning in towards each other, both moaning until they kissed. When they pulled away, Wednesday was shown, staring at both of them unimpressed with a dead stare. "Mmm." Morticia hummed, and Gomez sighed when they faced their daughter.
"How many years have they known each other?" A Nevermore student asked.
"What?" Red answered, raising an eyebrow. The Goddess stood up and took a snack and coffees from the table. She placed a black coffee on Wednesday's armchair, gave a cookie to Eugene. She sipped on her own latte.
"Wednesday's parents."
"For more than 30 years, give or take." Red rubbed her chin, sitting beside Wednesday again. Wednesday actually didn't mind the presence of the Goddess, she reeks of death and lies, and it's acceptable for the homicidal goth, like a knife in her side, but in a good way.
"They look so inlove. I wish I have that kind of relationship!" Gushed another Nevermore student. The faceless students gestured that they also wanted that.
"Try witnessing it your whole miserable life. It's nauseating." She deadpanned. Eugene laughed at what she said.
Enid heard the whole thing, it made her smile for a bit but then she remembered what happened and their fight again, it only happened minutes before they were kidnapped by the Goddess, it made her sad, guilty and angry at the same time.
"Darling, how long do you intend on giving us the cold shoulder?" Morticia asked. Wednesday ignored her and faced their butler.
"Lurch, please remind my parents that I'm no longer speaking to them." She said. Lurch grunts.
"Love how you casually said that infront of your parents, if I did that on mine they might disown me." A student grumbled.
"Same."
"Hmm." The woman frowned. Gomez leaned to Wednesday and spoke in a sweet voice.
"I promise you, my little viper, you will love Nevermore." Then he faced his wife. "Won't she, Tish?"
"Of course. It's the perfect school for her."
"Why? Because it was the perfect school for you? I have no interest in following in your footsteps. Becoming captain of the fencing team, Queen of the Dark Prom, President of the Séance Society." Wednesday listen and Gomez was looking rather smug as the list goes on, Morticia seemed to look away with her mouth twitching upwards.
Wednesday was silent. The Addams was always compared to her mother, in looks, intelligence, beauty, etc. she's a perfect mini-Morticia, that's when the feud happened, it irked her to be always compared to her mother dearest. In the past, she swore to never be like her mother, she made her a competition, because everything is a competition. But ever since that day, something changed in their dynamic.
"I merely meant that finally you will be among peers who understand you." Then she looks at Wednesday. "Maybe you'll even make some friends." Morticia smiled.
"Yeah, right! As if a killer is welcome there. Even old Nevermore freaks knows not to hangout with a homicidal maniac. This chick's got only one friend and it's a short pathetic one, the same as her!" A friend of Lucas laughed, his friends followed except for Lucas who want to shrink in his seat.
Enid snapped her head to the said person, her claws sharping, that was the same boy who was with Lucas when they ruined the Rave'N. An overprotective feeling was injected through her system, and efore she knew it, she already pounced on the pilgrim, who shrieks in horror. Red paused the episode and watched with interest, chewing a cookie.
Wednesday was used to being insulted because of being herself, she always ignores it, but when the pathetic excuse of a pilgrim mentioned Eugene in that manner, she unconsciously pulled the hidden pocket knife in her boot. But before she can stand up, Enid was already ontop of the pilgrim.
"Don't ever talk about Wednesday that way. You don't know her! Apologize before I claw your face off, you stupid normie!" There was a feral gleam in her eyes that made the pilgrim tremble in fear. To say that Wednesday was shock is an understatement, earlier in the evening she had a fight with the said girl, now Enid was defending her. It's confusing, all these emotions.
Something about the feral look on the sunshine of a werewolf repulse Wednesday, it felt like hundreds of spiders crawling inside her gut, slicing her internal organs that made her want to vomit, a good vomit. Lycanthropy is an interesting species to investigate; carnivorous, frightening and possibly have kill impulses, this is the first time seeing her non-violent 'friend' made some violence.
"Apologize!" Enid growled. Everyone gasped when they saw the she-wolf raised her clawed hand but they didn't make any move to stop her. The sheriff and polices made no advances on the triggered werewolf, they don't want to make it worse.
"Stop! I'm sorry! I-i'm sorry, don't kill me!"
"Okay enough Ms. Sinclair. We do not want to cause havoc in a Goddess' place." Principal Weems came to the rescue and pry Enid, with the help of Ms. Thornhill, off of the boy, who seemed to wet himself.
"Okay, let's have a tiny break. This is getting out of hand." Red said.
Enid felt satisfaction when she saw the fear on the boy's face. But has she felt any guilt on what she did? None. She returned to her normal cheery self and looked at her friends.
"Why are you all looking at me like I've grown scales?"
"Woah Enid, that was the most bravest thing that you did."
"I didn't know you had it in you."
"Addams' rubbing off on you, Sinclair."
"I thought you're soft, but you're wild Sinclair. I love wild."
"Ew, gross."
"I-" Everyone stopped when Wednesday spoke. The goth girl cleared her throat. And for the first time, ever since they went in the theatre, they looked at each other's eyes.
"Thank you." Wednesday coldly said and turned around immediately, as if it's hurting her just to say those words and look at Enid directly. "And I apologise for what I did earlier, endangering you wasn't in my plan." The stormcloud in the form of a girl, sat. She ignored everyone and sip on the black coffee Red gave her, nonchalant. Enid beamed, and like a puppy, she went to Wednesday. She knows Wednesday is a person with few words, but is always honest.
"Uh, you know, uhm, I'm sorry too. For the words I told you earlier, I was just so angry and I don't want to look at you-not that I don't want to, but I was just so mad-"
"Enid."
"-I can't control my anger. I thought we were going to die! I'm sure you welcome death but yeesh! It was too dangerous and one of us got injured! The monster was so big and hideous I thought I died when we we're inside the-"
"Enid." Wednesday hissed, Enid stopped. "Sit, and shut up." Enid sat next to Wednesday, on her right. Larissa smiled when she saw the interaction. Maybe there is hope for the Addams girl after all.
"Well, that happened." Yoko said, suddenly speechless. Her friend went to sit beside the goth like nothing happened before, like she didn't cry on the vamp's shoulder like a baby. The vampire don't understand their tandem, it's weird but okay.
"Now, we'll continue." Red presses play.
"Nevermore is like no other boarding school." Gomez said and he turned his head to Morticia again.
"It's a magical place." It was shown that Gomez is gazing with an inlove face to Morticia. "It's where I met your mother." Wednesday's parents face each other. "And we fell in love." They both released a yearning sigh.
"I'm genuinely surprised there's only two Addams children, the way the Addams' clung onto each other is really making me spit my dinner out." A police officer bitterly said.
"It's so romantic officer. They are so inlove!" A student argued.
"Pwah, disgusting!" Said the man.
The officers laughed.
"You guys are making me nauseous. Not in a good way." Wednesday deadpanned.
"Same." The same police officer agreed.
"Darling, we aren't the ones who got you expelled. That boy's family was going to file attempted murder charges. How would that have looked on your record?" Morticia scolded.
"Terrible." Wednesday said, thoughtful.
"Did you just admit-" Xavier started.
"Everyone would know I failed to get the job done." She finished.
"-nevermind." Xavier finished.
"Hmm." Morticia silently agreed.
"Addamses are really weird." A student said. Most agreed.
"They're unique."
"Even if they are related to death." The student joked. The teenagers laughed.
The scene showed that as the Packard V-12 drove past, the sign of Nevermore Academy was shown. A car pulled over by the sign.
"Just over here is fine."
"Thanks." A man was shown, getting out of the car. An old woman was shown as well at the driver's seat, looking out the window.
"Isn't that one of the victims?" An officer asked. She pointed at the outfit the man's wearing.
"Yes. You're right."
"You sure you want to get out here? The trail might look pretty, but it runs right past Nevermore."
"That school for outcasts?"
"Huh. That's a polite way of putting it."
"I never had a problem with outcasts."
"Woah, if he was still alive, maybe this normie and I can be friends."
"My counselor at summer camp was a werewolf. Great guy."
"Aw man, he's precious, too bad he's dead."
"Yeah, they're just like you and me, until they rip your throat out." The old woman stared at the man.
"Hey!" Couple of furs shouted, offended at the accusation.
"Her stare is quite disturbing."
He chuckles wryly. "Thanks." The man walked into the forest, the old woman's stare never leaving his form.
Scene changed. Birds caws. The man was inside the forest and he sighed as he sat on a log, a low menacing music was played when he poured himself a drink and he glanced around while drinking. The branch snapping rang around the theatre.
Everyone tensed, they knew something bad will happen, this was the time before they announced the man dead.
Suddenly there was a ragged breathing, the creature snarls and ran towards the man. The man screamed in panic, the beast sliced him and blood squirted out.
Lot of students screamed. Wednesday took note of some aspects, Enid beside her peeked at her notes instead of looking at the gorey details on the screen.
"As if that would work." Tyler spoke, for the first time.
"What?"
"Nothing dad."
The polices look sullen at the scene, the Addams really isn't lying. Larissa pursed her lip at the monster's claw, it was familiar. Thornhill cursed under her breath.
A/N: Okay! I finished this after my bed time, excuse my rushed work I'm really sleepy rn, I'll revise it tomorrow, please tell me what I should change. Thank you for the reviews! I'll update a longer chapter tomorrow! Enjoy!
