Kaysa entered the main room for the fifth time. Everyone was eating and having a good time as they congratulated Loki and Ada for their marriage.

She saw as a couple dressed in gold walked to them. The bride seemed to be proud then. Ada was talking to Loki, who was sitting next to her. He did not answer nor even looked at her. Kaysa could not help but feel bad for him. He was doomed to live to be with someone he did not love.

"Excuse my husband. It's been a long day." She excused Loki silence. He was with a cup of wine in his hand. It was the fifth one.

"Oh my dear, I'm sure he is thinking about this night." The woman laughed and made Ada blush. "Do you remember everything we've talked about it, right?"

"Yes, mother," Ada replied ashamed. She turned again to Loki who was still looking at something in the back of the room. "Prince Loki," Ada called him as she tried to reach his hand. Loki took it apart when he felt the touch. He had come back to reality.

"What do you think you are doing?" He hissed. Ada's face turned red. Her eyes tried to find what he was looking at but she did not find anything remarkable. Ada stood up and excused herself to her parents, asking them to leave them alone.

"How dare you?!" She exclaimed to Loki. He sighed bored. "You cannot even control yourself in front of my parents?!" He did not answer. "At least you could pretend that you are happy with the idea of having me as your wife."

"Is that all? Cause I really want to get back to my wedding." Loki said as he looked back to the main room. Ada did not say anything. She walked with him and sat down on their seats. Loki took his cup again and went back to lose his mind in the people running and dancing in front of them.

"Don't you think that you have had enough wine for one night?" Ada hissed.

"Oh, come on. Just shut up!" Loki exclaimed without looking at her. She followed his gaze and found out who was having her husband attention. She closed her hands into fists as she tried to hold her anger. She was feeling humiliated. But she was sure that she would get her revenge.

Kaira was chatting with some of Viggo's friends as she heard the beautiful melody in the room. Her eyes travelled through the room observing every little detail. The King and the Queen had left their thrones to the new couple. They were talking with the guests. Thor had danced once with his mother. She enjoyed the dance, although Kaira was sure she would have enjoyed it more if it was with Loki. During the months she had spent in the palace, she learnt a lot about the connection between Loki and the Queen.

"Come with me." A soft voice said to her back. Kaira found Kaysa with a look of concern. She nodded as she did what Kaysa said.

They met at a balcony where they could see all Asgard's gardens. Kaysa was hiding in the shadows. Kaira ran and hugged her. She was wishing to do that since the ceremony.

"I need your help," Kaysa said as she moved away from her sister.

"Of course Kaysa. What can I do?" Kaira asked worriedly.

"Do you remember the sleeping spell?" Kaira nodded slowly. "I need you to create it. Not for me, of course." She added as she saw Kaira's expression.

"But why can't you do it yourself?" Kaira asked.

"I don't have my pendant. I don't have enough power to create it." Kaysa explained how she lost it. Kaira knew how important the pendant was for her. Without it, they could not control their power and energy. They were almost as mortals. "I need you to collect everything and bring it to me as soon as possible. Kaira, please. You don't have an idea about how important is this to me." Kaira looked at her sister. It was the first time she had saw Kaysa pleading. Kaira knew it was an important thing for her.

"Meet me here in an hour," Kaira said as she ran to the gardens. She knew where to find everything she needed.

Kaira knew where to find the herb that Kaysa needed. She had seen it a few weeks ago in one of her walks through the gardens and she remembered the right position where it was. Kaira was sure that she would need it someday.

Everyone was in the palace dancing and eating. Kaira climbed a tree easily, hanging down from one branch. She was trying to reach for the glowing herb that was growing on the side of a cliff. Kaira had almost it when she heard a crack.

"I've almost got you." She mumbled as she extended her hand to it. The branch was not strong enough and it did not hold her weight. It broke down and Kaira fell from it. A scream escaping her lips. She fell down the cliff. Kaira was quick and held a root. She did not know what to do then. None would hear her. She tried to climb the root, hurting her hands. A glow caught her eyes. The herb was next to her. She could reach out for it, but it was not safe. She could fall down because of that.

"Kaira?" A male voice asked her name.

"Hello?" Kaira answered trying to catch the attention. "Down the cliff!" She saw Viggo looking down at her. "Viggo!" Kaira had never been happier.

"What are you doing here?" He asked as he held out his hand. "Take my hand Kaira." He asked. She looked at the herb and then at the hand again.

"I just need it." She reached for it and held a bunch of the herb. The blood of her hand made her split. Viggo looked at her terrified and through himself to catch her. It only took Viggo a few seconds to get Kaira up. These seconds were eternal for Kaira. She started shaking as she embraced herself with the herb in her hand.

"What is that?" Viggo asked angrily. "I hope it is worth it." Kaira did not say a word. "You almost die Kaira!" He shouted.

"Stop it!" Kaira looked up and found Thor, who was running to them. She stood up and tried to hide her scared face. Viggo looked at him and then at Kaira.

"Prince Thor," Viggo said as his hands closed into a fist. He knew that Thor had feelings for Kaira, but he did not know why he had not asked Odin to be him the one marrying her. It was what made him mad. He did not love Kaira, but with time he came to appreciate her. He wanted her to be happy, but he was sure that she would not be happy in Asgard. Odin hated the ones of her kind.

"Are you okay?" Thor asked Kaira while he held her free hand. "Who do you think you are? You cannot talk to her like that." He said turning to Viggo. He was looking down as he heard the prince shouting at him.

"My fiancé," Kaira answered and surprised everyone. She was admitting who Viggo was in her life for the first time in front of the man that she loved. "He is... he is my fiancé." She repeated again. She could not stand the situation. It was true that she did not have feelings for Viggo, but she appreciated his help. "It's been my fault."

"No Kaira. He cannot talk to you like that. Even if he is your fiancé."

"Please, Prince Thor... It was something between Viggo and me..." Kaira did not want Thor to know anything about her plans with Kaysa.

"If you forgive us, Prince Thor, we are going to go back to the wedding," Viggo said as he put his hand in Kaira's back and pushed her lightly to the palace. Kaira looked over her shoulder and saw Thor standing there, speechless. "Please, let me help you with whatever you need," Viggo whispered in Kaira's ear. She doubted for a moment. It was true that her relationship with Viggo was different, but she was not sure she could tell him about Kaysa.

Kaysa was waiting outside the palace for Kaira. She should have been there half an hour ago. Kaysa walked up and down without taking her eyes from the big window where she could see Loki and Ada closing the dance. She knew she did not have much time.

"Kaira... come on!" She whispered and it was when Kaira appeared next to her running. "What has taken you so long?" She asked joining her sister halfway.

"You'll under in a minute," Kaira said as she tried to hold her breath.

"Did you manage to get the herb?" Kaysa asked. Kaira gave it to her. "I need you to do the spell, Kaira. I've already told you my powers are too weak."

"That's why I've got late." Kaira got her hand inside her pocket and took Kaysa's necklace.

"Where... How did you get it?" She asked. Kaysa was scared to touch it.

"I've got some help," Kaira said and a shadow moved from behind her. Viggo showed up and nodded his head. Kaira looked at her sister in silent before start telling her how Viggo got her necklace back. After listening to the story, Kaysa was left without any word.

"Wow... I guess I should thank you then." She said, unsure that was the right thing to do.

"Don't take it wrong. "Viggo said. "I don't approve of your idea. But I hate that family more than anything else. I want to make sure that prince Loki will be okay." He said with a serious face and tone. "And if I do it helping you, I am willing to do anything." Kaysa understood his words. He was not helping her for free. She knew that Kaira and she would have paid him back sooner or later.

"I have to go back to the palace," Kaysa said as she put on her necklace. "Thank you again." She said to her sister and Viggo and ran back.

Kaysa got back to the room with a plate in her hands. She needed to go to her room and do the spell that would put Ada and Loki in a deep sleep for the night. Kaysa took some dishes and cups and ran to the door when a sweet voice stopped her.

"There you are!" It was Biscuit. She looked angry at her. "I've been looking for you the whole night!" She took the things from Kaysa's hands. "Princess Ada is looking for you. She and Prince Loki want to go to their room to continue the night there." Kaysa felt as her lungs asked for air. The image of Loki doing martial duties killed her inside.

"Why is she asking for my help? I'm just the one in charge of the food." Kaysa said.

"I've been wondering the same thing since she asked me for you." Biscuit turned around before shouting Kaysa to go and prepared everything for the Princess.

Kaysa waited in the room for the couple. She had lighted some candles so they could see their faces in the night. Ada's nightdress was hanging from the wall and she made sure that they had enough wine for the night. That was where she put the infusion of the herbs and the spell. She could not let them sleep together. One of the reason was that, if she could stop them, she did not risk the fact that Ada would carry Loki's baby. She touched her belly as she thought about the fate of her child. What if Loki did not recognize it as his? She would need to run away from Asgard just to save him or her. The other reason was that, even if Loki was not married to her, she was the only one that could share his bed.

Kaysa heard some voices on the other side of the door before the couple entered in. For a brief second, Loki looked at her surprised and with a strange look in his eyes. They were greener than usual. His lips asking why. He seemed to get back when Ada spoke.

"Where have you been?" She asked annoyed. "I've been asking for you the whole night."

"I've been told to prepare the room, my lady," Kaysa answered looking down at her hands crossed in front of her belly.

"Your Princess." Ada corrected her as she took the nightdress and walked behind a screen. Kaysa exchanged a brief look with Loki, who had sat down in a chair and was looking at the fire that she had lighted. "Come here!" Ada called her and Kaysa walked without much interest. She helped her changing her clothes. "I need him to desire me. You know what to do."

Kaysa did not say a word. She knelt down and cleaned her legs and spread some rose oil on them. Kaysa did the same with the zone between Ada's legs. She did not look at her face, but she knew she had a triumphant smile on it. Kaysa bit the inside of her mouth, trying to control her emotions. Once she had finished, she went out.

Loki did not move from his seat. Kaysa walked to him and placed her at his back. She should prepare him for the night.

"My Prince." She called his attention. Loki startled and looked at her from his seat. He seemed nervous. "Let me help you," Kaysa observed as he stood up and walked in front of her. Kaysa stood on her tips and took his cape. Loki was taller than her. She reached his chest. In another situation, Loki would place his hand on her waist but he did not do it that time. After all, he made sure that she understood what she meant to him. Kaysa closed her eyes and smelled his scent trying to call back all the memories with him. Memories of their night together arrived in her mind. Loki was a rough and soft lover at the same time. The first time, Kaysa followed his rhythm. She moved the way he wanted and she managed to ask for her pleasure. However, the second time was different. She could not follow his rhythm and she was left in the bed following his orders. But in both times, Loki watched that she get the same or more pleasure than him. It was what Kaysa liked most. The moment her gaze turned white and her legs started shaking. She could not help but bite Loki's back with her nails, making him grunt as his body tense. It was like the storm before the calm. After that, they laid together, only holding one finger of the other. They did not hug each other, because, after that, it was only sex. They did not have feelings for the other, or that was what Kaysa thought before realising that she was a liar. She had feelings for him. She loved him.

"Move," Ada said and Kaysa opened her eyes. She did not notice she was crying until she felt a tear running down her cheek. Kaysa wiped out the tear as quickly as possible and moved to the door. "No. I want you to stay." Kaysa stood in silence with her back turned at the couple.

"I don't want public this night," Loki said. Kaysa looked at him over her shoulder and saw as he tried to move away from Ada. Even his movements seemed strange that night.

"Oh, my dear. Do you think you have an option?" Ada laughed cruelty and pushed him down as she sat on top of him. She started moving forward and back with a disgusting face. Loki held her hips trying to take her up, but she stopped him. Meanwhile, Kaysa's eyes could not move away from the scene. Loki threw her a pleading look.

"Maybe my Prince and Princess want something to drink," Kaysa offered as she took the cups. Ada looked at her before taking one of them and put her lips on it. Kaysa's eyes glowed nervously. It was something that Ada noticed. She stopped and put the cup in Loki's mouth, looking at Kaysa again. She needed to control her emotions. It was only a sleeping spell. Loki would not suffer. Ada poured the whole content on him and then threw the cup away. She did not take the other one and Kaysa started to worry. Ada looked at her triumphant before kissing Loki's lips.

In a few minutes, Ada fell to the ground as Loki, both in a deep sleep. Kaysa was surprised. She did not know that it could work that way. She took the other cup to save its content so she could use it the next night. When Kaysa turned around she noticed something was different. Ada was still lying on the floor but Loki was not next to her. Instead of him, the young servant that a few weeks ago invited her to the party at the beach was there. Kaysa heard something behind her.

"You surprise me, my Prince," Kaysa confessed. She did not turn around, but she knew that Loki was there.

"I can say the same." He walked to her and looked at the scene. "What is that supposed to do?" He asked. Kaysa looked at him through the corner of her eye. He was wearing his black and loose tunics.

"I thought that you might need a nice sleep. After this great day..." Kaysa said as she walked to the door.

"Kaysa," Loki called her. She stopped but did not turn at him. "I cannot protect you always. Even if I would like to. Watch out what you are doing." Kaysa turned quickly but she was alone in the room. He had not been there. It was just an illusion. Kaysa thought about his words as she walked out of the room. She opened the door and had to face Loki, who was standing there in the same clothes that a moment ago.

"An illusion again?" Kaysa asked as she lifted her hand to touch Loki's cheek, thinking that it would make him disappeared. She froze when Loki took her wrist.

"I am here."
