"Gaze upon the monster," spoke Pasti, he then threw the mask on the concrete. Everyone gazed upon the face of the giant fighter. He possessed a face riddled with scars. He possessed many scars showing signs of clean cuts. He even had one over his left eye. It was a wonder he didn't lose the sight in his eye.
Speaking of his eyes, they were one of his most off putting features. What is normally white conjunctiva or the white outside part of the eyes with red veins was black with white veins. The iris, or colored part of the eye, was almost a ghostly white if it wasn't for the very slight hint of baby blue.
The man's irises were almost as white as his skin. His skin was a ghostly pale white. He was bald, and another thing Dean noticed were his ears. They didn't look normal, but Dean understood exactly why they didn't look normal. His father said human fighters get this condition occasionally. It is called Cauliflower ear. His ears suffered much trauma through the fights he went through, and became puffy and swollen. This showed Dean that this man had been in many fights.
What made Dean most uneasy was the man's smile. It was crooked, and did not bring any joy with it. It looked rather off putting. Pasti looked like a predator that had just caught its prey, and was about to sink his teeth in it. He looked down at Dean, and noticed Dean's unsettled facial expression.
"What," asked Pasti. "Is it the eyes, the scars, or all of the above?"
Dean didn't answer. He instead tried to wrestle out from under the man's boot.
"I didn't always look like this. I was once a good looking soldier."
"I find that hard to believe," spoke Dean. He then felt the boot apply more pressure to his sternum. He began to wheeze. Breathing began to become a chore.
The Russian began to speak once more. "As I was saying, I was a good looking soldier. My father was high ranking officer in Russian military, and trained me when I was very young. As I grew older, I ran through the ranks, and quickly became the highest ranked soldier in the Russian forces. That did come at a cost as you can see." Pasti then pointed to the four claw marks that raked the right side of his face.
"Bear that came too close to my camp, and killed some of my men," he said. "I killed it with my own two hands."
He then pointed to a scar over his left eye.
"Fighting an enemy that had a knife. I was six. This was my first one. He almost blinded me too, but I dealt the final blow. After all that, I was asked to become apart of a top secret experiment in Russia. It was in order to become a new breed of soldier. We based it off that of the Guardian."
Dean's shock couldn't be seen on his face, but he definitely felt the shock through his body. The giant continued his monologue.
"The Guardian is considered by most to be the strongest on the planet. I would love to fight him, and my power is now on par with him. Years ago, my superiors signed me up for an experiment. They said a team from the United States received this small experiment from an unknown source. My scientists said the US team fixed it after finding...flaws. My scientists also applied some of their own techniques to the serum."
"I was injected with it, and now I have the ability to destroy a tank with my bare hands. Bullets ricochet off me. I am near indestructible. I am faster than an eye can track." Eventually after I destroyed millions upon millions of small armies, I became the secret weapon Russia uses to take care of the things Russia doesn't want you to know about."
Meanwhile at the farm house, Tikanni is on the edge of his seat.
"That maniac," he uttered.
"Tikanni," began Kate. "What is he talking about?"
"Remember Dean's experiment, or him talking about it?"
Everyone except Willow nodded.
"His Uncle was the one who created it. Dean told me what was made in this experiment. He used Amarock blood."
The fear in everyone rose. Dean was in a cage with a Amarock drugged Russian.
"Are you saying Dean's fighting someone as strong as you," asked Stinky.
"No, he's not as strong as me. It would be close, but he'd lose if we fought."
"Dean can still win, right," asked Tyson.
Tikanni didn't say anything, he just stared at the monster in the TV.
"Now that I told you of my power, and why I won before you even got into the cage, why don't you continue to try and hit me?" Pasti's monologue could be heard through the whole house.
The Russian then looked down at Dean.
"Or why don't I see if the girl can do better?"
Dean's hands began to light up. His whole body began to glow with static.
He unleashed blue lightning from his hands, and they threw Pasti into the fence. Dean staggered to his feet followed by Drew.
"Capitalize," screamed Ebbs.
"Ebbs I doubt they can capitalize on Pasti," spoke Calian.
"In fact, I think this match is over. Don't you agree Ebbs?"
"It ain't over until it's over," he corrected.
Meanwhile, in the cage. The two fighters rallied together.
"Backs to the fence," ordered Dean. The two then heard laughing. They turned to see Pasti standing. His tank top had a massive hole in the center.
"That was good hit. It's about time you damaged me. Too bad I've had paper cuts that hurt more. My turn.
Pasti then became a blur. Drew was the first to fall victim. She had no time to react as a knee slammed into her stomach.
Dean immediately ducked and he heard something hit the fence. He then heated his hands up. Fire began to envelope his hands.
"So Lobo is a magic user," spoke Calian. "Interesting, I might not have to send you in after all Ebbs."
"What?"
Dean then sent a ball of fire in front of him, but Pasti caught it, and threw it on the ground. There's an opportunity Dean was waiting for.
Pasti then felt an immediate anchor on his feet. He looked down to see that his feet was enveloped by concrete mounds. Blue light then enveloped Pasti's hands. Dean was holding him in place.
"PREDATOR," he screamed. "GET HIM!"
Drew staggered to her feet. She saw the plan, and immediately launched a kick to Pasti's chin. He remained standing. She then sent several punches to his gut, and ribs.
Pasti didn't even looked that phased. He was still trying to escape from Dean's hold.
"If I wasn't sick, this guy would be a great fight. I would actually be hurting him," thought Dean.
"Hey Boss," yelled Pasti. He did so while Drew was punching and kicking him.
"Yes," answered Teowulf.
"Send in her master. I want more fresh meat."
Calian then grabbed Ebbs, and drug him into the cage. He slammed the door behind him.
"Finish him first, Pasti," ordered the sheep faced man.
"Ok, playtimes over," spoke the Russian. He then head butted Drew, and a black hand enveloped Dean's foot.
"Uh oh," was Dean's last thought, before he was dragged, thrown, and slammed all over the arena. The white veins in Pasti's eyes glowed as his magic, did its work.
Drew was utterly speechless. Pasti's bindings were undone, and all of the trio's planning went out the window when he used magic.
"Ebbs," called Pasti.
The magic hand that had Dean held him in place.
Ebbs stood in the path of the monster. There was no way he could beat him.
Meanwhile, Drew was punching and kicking him every step of the way. Finally, she just put herself in the way.
"Ebbs, get out of here!"
Before she could react, Pasti wasn't in front of her anymore.
She quickly turned around to see Ebbs in the arms of Pasti. Pasti's hands were wrapped around the fighters head.
"Cuidar a mi hija," (Take care my child,) spoke Ebbs. His head was then turned violently, and a vicious snap was heard. Ebbs fell to the ground. His body now lifeless due to a broken neck he suffered at the hands of this monster.
Drew screamed, and fell to the ground. Tears streaming down her face. She looked at his body, and this triggered something. The man from her dreams was laying in the same position Ebbs was in. The two kept switching in Drew's vision.
She then felt something snap in her. A roar bellowed from her, and green aura began building up around her, but then she cried out in pain. The power dissipated. She fell to the ground unconscious.
Pasti dropped Dean, and he saw everything.
"Hey," asked Pasti. "Did I break you?"
"DREW," cried Dean. He ran and immediately got caught. He was thrown on his stomach, and Pasti put Dean in an arm lock.
"I'm going to snap your arm, and then I'm going back to play with...Drew, is what you called her?"
Dean then thought of nothing else except his vow to protect.
"Even if it kills me," he said to himself. His eyes then glowed a grayish blue. In a split second, Pasti released the arm and slid away. When he looked at his previous position, he saw the concrete itself was dug into. A massive crater was all that remained of the place of a violent struggle. A vicious snarl broke Pasti of his trance, and he looked to the beast that now stood between him and Drew.
"He dug through solid concrete," exclaimed Pasti. "His punches tickled a second ago. Where is this power coming from?" He then felt something dripping from his cheek. He wiped his cheek, and his hand was stained crimson. He had been cut. Three scratches adorned themselves upon his scarred face.
Dean remained as still as a statue between his sister. His hair now a silver blonde tint.
Pasti began to laugh. "Now let the fight begin."
Pasti used his top speed to run and catch Drew. He had his fist ready to come down on her head, but it was caught. Pasti didn't even see what happened.
"What?!"
He looked down to see his fist was caught by the beast before him. He tried to pull it back, but the vice grip his fist was caught in prevented it.
Dean then looked up at Pasti, and Pasti saw a completely different animal. The eyes alone shined a bright blue grey tint. Instead of nails, Dean's hands and feet had claws. The clawed hand dug into the his fist.
Dean then gave the man a toothy grin. This grin wasn't normal, the teeth weren't normal. Normal for a human. These teeth were more canine. Dean finally gave into his Shunkaha form as Tikanni calls it. Dean now has the claws, jaws, and a silverish blond tail of a form he previously possessed. When he was younger, this form was a match for his Uncle, a nearly Guardian level threat.
He also used a smaller version of this form to fight Charles, Willow's father. This form was weaker than the first form due to Dean's body being unable to withstand the full power of the first form.
"Final Round," snarled Dean. His voice more primal and animalistic. His claws began digging in the hand of Pasti. He struggled to pull the arm away. He sent a punch to Dean's face, but that was a big mistake. He pulled his hand back to see a line of holes in his hand. These holes were reminiscent of an animal bite. This on top of the claws digging into the other hand are the first signs of actual damage the brute has taken. Dean then clenched his clawed hand into a fist.
The fist connected, and Pasti was sent flying through the cage, and through a nearby tree. Pasti quickly stood up, and he gazed into the cage. Only Drew was seen. Pasti then felt a judo chop across the back of his neck, and he was slammed into the ground once more.
He slowly rose up, and barely dodged a clawed foot coming down on his head. He was moving at his top speed, and still struggled to doge this beast's attacks. He quickly stood up, and only glared at the beast. He then got into a fighting stance.
"COME ON!!!," roared the Russian. He tried to use his magic to grab Dean, but he possessed this aura around him. It was Silver and blue. It was pure magic, and was much stronger than Pasti's magic abilities. Dean did as he instructed and ran at him. At first he got into a Muay tai stance, and performed Muay Tai punches, kicks, elbows, and knees. He then changed to Taekwondo, then Kickboxing, then Boxing. Karate, Kung Fu, judo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, jui jitsu, Jeet kune do, Lethwei, Krav Maga, and finally wrestling was used on Pasti. Dean's martial arts made Pasti look like a beginner. After a judo throw through another tree. Pasti then looked at Drew. She was still unconscious from her outburst inside the newly opened cage. He wanted leverage, and was not above using a hostage to get it.
He sprinted to the girl. He could see her, and she was almost in his reach before a toothy grin stopped him in his tracks, and Pasti was grabbed by the throat. Pasti grabbed Dean's hand, and using his full strength to push Dean back. The only problem with that is Dean wasn't budging. He remained firmly planted on the ground. In a second, Pasti was losing a shoving match to Dean, and the next, Dean is behind Pasti. He then lifted Pasti to deliver a German suplex to the Russian. The concrete crumbled with the force.
Pasti was now in a crater, and Dean was tending to his sister. Pasti's eyes shot open but he didn't get up. He was shaken by this new foe. This kid has literally wiped the floor with him. Pasti stepped out of the crater. He was enraged by how much of a pushover he has become. He's the future of military weaponry. One measly 17 year old shouldn't be running through him like this. He saw Dean was now waiting for Pasti to make a move. He stood between him and Drew.
The anger and hatred Pasti felt towards Dean was so immense that he came to an evil decision in his head. If he can't kill Dean, then he'll kill the next best thing, Drew. Pasti's eyes glowed, and he sent a magic blade flying towards Drew's unconscious body. It was immediately blocked by Dean, and Pasti saw a new emotion in Dean's bright blue eyes; hatred.
"How dare you," growled Dean.
Pasti then saw the error in his mindset. He just poked the bear too much. Pasti is now experiencing something he hasn't felt in a long time, fear.
"Now, now," he bargained, "let's use words."
"I'LL TEAR YOU APART!!!" In the blink of an eye, Pasti felt something move by him. He looked to see his left arm was gone. Pasti turned to see Dean...with his severed arm...in his mouth. Before Pasti could scream, Dean dropped the arm and ran by him once more, this time taking a leg as he ran. Pasti fell, and Dean got on top of him. He began cutting, biting, and scratching Pasti like a rabid animal.
When Dean got off of him, Pasti looked more dead than alive, his body had cuts and bite marks all over him. The Russian monster was defeated, and now Dean could tend to his sister. The threat upon him and his sister was beaten. Not killed, but not hurting anyone either. He then felt something in his body. His power was running out. He needed to do one last thing before it does.
Dean let out a mix between a roar, and a howl. This war cry unleashed immense power. So much power that it was effecting everyone. It shook the camera that has been streaming this whole time. The camera fell, but remained streaming. Sykes, Ivory, and Ebony, who were behind the camera couldn't move from their spots due to the weight the power held.
Dean's howl continued to sound off through the forest. The magic continued growing. It then released from his mouth in a beam of blue light.
So much so, that it became a beacon of light. Tikanni's blue eye began glowing. He ran and looked out the door. The night sky shined bright. Especially with a large blue light lighting Dean's location. Soon, the beam dissipated, but that power was enough for Tuffy to lock onto Dean's location by feeling his magic power.
"I got you, Dean," he spoke.
As everyone was about to jump in the car, they were stopped by Kate.
"Wait," she yelled.
"What," questioned Tikanni.
"Something's wrong."
Everyone looked at the now crooked screen on the TV.
"I hope you feel that Tuffy," spoke Dean. He then let out a pained expression, and blood spilled out of his mouth, and nose. He slumped over his sister protectively. "I'm sorry, Drew."
"Oh my god," exclaimed Tikanni.
Dean then gritted his teeth as he reverted back to his normal human form. More blood came out as he let out a scream. Black, blue, and grey beams of lightning began emanating out of his body. The lightning began striking everywhere around him. The energy was so great, it began melting the metal.
"We need to go, now," screamed Tikanni.
Everyone got in the car, and he sped to the light.
"We're coming Dean," spoke Kate, "Just hang on, a little longer. Please hang on. Don't take my pup from me."
Meanwhile, Dean is still screaming, bleeding, and unleashing bolts of lightning. One person was absolutely fuming at this, and that was Calian. Throughout the whole fight, he sat at his throne. Now, he lost his fighter, and had an absolute problem on his hands. That beam of energy alerted every magic user, and cop in a huge radius. He stood up from his throne, dusted off his black suit, and walked into what was left of his once indestructible cage. Now reduced to liquid metal, and concrete rubble.
He made his way up the stairs, walked straight to Dean, and tried to grab him. That was a big mistake. He was hit with a blue bolt of Dean's lightning, and was sent flying back into his throne. Half of his suit was now singed. His white sheep mask was now black, and half was burned off as well. His skin, however, didn't even have a scratch. Dean soon passed out. Once he did Calian stood up.
"FRANKLIN," he shouted.
"Yes Sir," he said.
"Get these two in a car, we're leaving."
"But what if they're still firing lightning?"
"Then I guess you'll get a new tan, extra crispy. It's better than what I'll do to you if you don't do as I say."
"Calian," rasped a voice.
Calian than looked to see Pasti. He was still breathing, barely. He then slowly walked up to him.
"You have seen better days, Pasti." Calian was now standing over him.
"He let me live," he said. "It was...good...fight."
"Yeah, he let you live." Calian knelt down to Pasti. He then turned his head, so his ear was facing Calian. "I won't make that mistake," he whispered.
"Wha-" Pasti began screaming in pain, and after a few minutes He was nothing but a shriveled husk of what he once was.
"Sir," spoke Sykes. Ebony and Ivory were standing next to him.
"It better be good, Franklin," spoke Calian. "I was enjoying a good meal," he said. He stood up, and revealed to the three that his mouth was covered in blood. His eye that has been revealed through the singed mask was glowing a bright red. He even looked taller. Franklin turned ghost white. The two dogs looked terrified. They never have seen their master do this.
He then pulled out a white cloth and the cloth now was stained with blood.
"Don't keep me waiting, Franklin."
"Right," spoke Sykes. "We have the two kids in the car."
"Great, drive them to the airport."
"Will do."
"Come along girls," Spoke Calian, and the two cane Corso's followed him into a different suburban.
Meanwhile, the two kids in the back of a black suburban were sound asleep, but their minds ran wild. In Drew's, she was seeing her past. She was seeing her childhood, and gaining her memories. The death of Ebbs, and the outburst of her own power managed to unlock the lock put on her mind, and her power.
Dean, however, was a different story.
"Hello," called Dean. He looked around, and saw only black. He then saw, a silhouette of something it was that of something Dean hasn't seen in a while, a wolf. This wolf then began to manifest colors. The wolf was big. Even a little bit bigger than Garth. It was grey mostly, but possessed tawny brown patches on parts of his body. The eyes however were brownish amber, almost golden.
"You were in my dream," spoke Dean. "I thought you were Stinky."
"Hi Dean," spoke the wolf. The voice however was one all too familiar to Dean. It was his very own.
"Who are you," spoke Dean.
"You tell me," spoke the wolf. "Who are you?"
"Ok, back to this question before I die."
"You're not dead yet. You were pretty close though."
"You mean we were close."
"I'll answer that when you tell me who you are."
"I am Dean, Son of Sarah and the Guardian, Jesse, adopted-"
"Wrong," interrupted the wolf.
"No, I am not."
"Dean, you were eight years old when Jesse and Sarah were killed. They couldn't be there for you, but who was? Kate and Humphrey were there in your time of need. They were the ones who you chose to call mom and dad after the ones that brought you into this world couldn't take care of you. They raised you, and you're about to go to Alpha school. You aren't a guardian anymore, so stop trying to be one."
"I won't forget them."
"I know, but stop living in the delusion that you're just a Guardian when you have technically been raised by wolves longer than Guardians. They aren't adoptive parents, they're parents. You're not only a Guardian and an adopted wolf, you were a Guardian, but now are a wolf with Guardian knowledge. You're both, just more wolf, then Guardian. You noticed when you hate being called dog, and how you perceive things. You mind is more wolf-wired."
The human was silent. The wolf continued.
"We don't choose blood, but we choose family. Your plan wouldn't have worked anyway."
"What are you talking about."
"What did you think? You'd hook up with a human, and spend Christmas in your parents den, chewing on a freshly killed caribou?"
Dean then thought of the picture in his head. He realized that the wolf was speaking the truth.
"Thanks me," spoke Dean. "I guess I needed to hear one of our famous pep talks. I needed to clear my head."
Dean then saw that he was alone, and everything was turning white. All of a sudden, Dean saw a bright light, and his eyes opened. He gasped for air. The first thing he saw was Drew. Crouched next to him. She looked down upon him with concern.
"Dean," he heard Drew. "Are you ok?"
"Aside for tasting iron, and feeling like I was ran over by a tank, I'm just peachy," he said. "How long was I out?"
"Two hours," spoke Calian. "Drew only woke up a few minutes before you."
Dean turned his head to see that he and Drew were behind bars, they were in a cage. Next to them were more empty cages. Walls of cages, and in the middle of the two walls was Dean and Drew's cage, and on the other side, was a man with a new black suit, but no sheep mask. The man possessed a small Mohawk with braids on the back of it. His skin was tan. He was a Native American. His eyes were brown. This was the face of Calian Teowulf.
"Ready for your flight?" The look on Dean's face said it all. "I know you," he said. "I've seen your face before."
Over with Tikanni, he was following Dean's magic trail. His phone rang. It was Dean's phone.
Tikanni pulled over and immediately picked up the phone.
"Dean," he exclaimed. "Where are you? I am on the-
"Tuffy...Tuffy...Tuffy...Tuffy," spoke a voice. Tikanni was dead silent. "Tsk...tsk...tsk...you should really stop making friends; sooner or later I'm just going to take them all from you.
"Where's Dean," was all Tuffy could ask.
"He's here, along with his friend. I'm going to be their one way ticket to a new life. A life of my scientists carving into them like thanksgiving turkeys. I'm going to find out what makes them tick. What would Lyra think about you being unable to save your new friends from me? You couldn't save her."
Everyone heard the voice on the phone, and those lines told everyone exactly who this was. On the other side of the phone, was Dead Meat.
Tikanni's body began changing his eyes glowed brighter than ever, his size was growing as well, and he began to grow course black hair all over his body. His hands sprouted claws, and his mouth sprouted canine teeth. He let out an inhuman roar. He continued to roar. Meanwhile, everyone stared in shock. Willow on the other hand, had something click in her head. Soon the other line went dead, and Tikanni calmed down enough to revert back from his mid-transformation. He put the car in gear, and began driving.
"You saved me," spoke Willow. "You're the bear creature!?"
"Yes, I did, and yes I am." He answered quickly. "Now, I have to save Dean."
Back at the airport, Dead Meat was sweating as he held Dean's phone.
"He couldn't even shift last time I saw him," spoke Calian. "I made sure of it."
"He found peace," spoke Dean. He staggered to his feet. "He's in control. Now, why don't you come closer to the bars?"
"Why?"
"So I can rip your heart out, and make you regret hurting my friend."
"Easy little bro," spoke Drew. She then held him back.
"You couldn't even hurt a fly in the state each of you are in. That's why you have no bindings in my largest cage. There's barely enough room to walk to the cockpit without you two grabbing things. Forgive the lack of companionship. These cages would be filled with other animals, but business is always short on poaching when Shadow Fist business is at hand." The man then sat Dean's phone in his bag, and placed it next to Drew's. He placed them on top of a nearby cage.
"Where are you taking us anyway you creep," asked Drew.
"I'm not taking you guys anywhere. Sykes, and my bodyguards are. You guys are going to a secret base, and that's where my team, and I can carve you up, and experiment on you with no supervision."
"What," spoke Sykes.
"Franklin, you are driving this plane. I'm taking a private jet. There is enough fuel to get you there. Here's the keys to the cage, do not lose them.
"Master," began Ebony. "Why are we not accommodating you?"
"You weren't asked to speak," snapped Calian. "You were made to guard, and follow orders. Nothing more. You will go with Franklin, and if you question me again, then I'll throw both of you out of the plane, and breed new guard dogs. Never forget that you two are expendable. You can be easily replaced. Am I clear.
"Yes sir," they both said.
"Great," answered Calian. "Now I am leaving."
"Because you're scared of Tikanni," spoke Dean.
Calian kept walking. He was soon out of the plane. "Great," began Sykes. "Let's get this show on the road. You two guard the cage." Ebony and Ivory followed his orders, and Sykes went to the cockpit. Once the door to the hangar closed, and the cockpit door closed as well. Dean looked at the two miserable dogs guarding the cage. They just found out how much their "father" cared for them.
"Some father huh," spoke Dean. "Now, here's a deal, get me and my sister outta here, and we'll give you a family."
"My little brothers right," spoke Drew. "You won't be expendable, you'll be a family."
The two dogs looked up at them.
"You'll keep your word?"
"We have no reason not too," answered Dean. He then looked at Drew.
"You said little brother," he spoke in disbelief.
"I remember everything," she said.
Dean then couldn't control himself. He grabbed his sister, and held her.
"You probably can't use your powers," he stated. "It's been a while."
"Yeah, I can't over exert my body," spoke Drew.
"I'm so sorry I didn't help you."
"Dee, no," spoke Drew. "We couldn't do anything then. It's ok. We have to get out of here, now."
"You're right Dew. Ok, are you two with us? I have a plan."
The two cane Corso had enough of the expendable lifestyle their master put them through. They wanted more than a master, they wanted a friend; a family. They both agreed.
"What can we do," spoke Ivory.
Meanwhile, the car, just pulled into the airport. Tikanni drove through a chainlink, and just as the plane took off.
"We're too late," spoke Ty.
"Not yet we're not," spoke Tikanni. He then began trailing the plane. "I'm not going to lose you."
Back on the plane, Ebony was scratching on the door to the cockpit. Sykes, turned on the autopilot, and went out to see the commotion.
"WHAT DO YOU NEED!"
Ivory then bit into the pocket that had the keys. Sykes let out a cry in pain. He soon unholstered a handgun he kept on his side. Ebony bit into his arm, and the three tumbled into the cockpit. After a few minutes of yelling, growling, gunshots, and clothing tearing, the two Cane Corso ran out the cockpit, and Ebony slammed the door shut. Ivory then pushed one of the cage walls down. Sykes was now stuck in the cockpit.
Ivory ran to the large cage, and gave Dean the torn pocket. Inside it were the keys!
"You two were great," exclaimed Drew.
"It was nothing," spoke Ebony.
"Yeah, easy stuff," replied Ivory.
The three then heard a click and saw that Dean, unlocked the cage.
"Ok," he spoke. "Let's get out of here."
Everyone immediately ducked when a gunshot rang out through the Little window of the cockpit door.
"I'll get you mangy mutts," roared Sykes. He then heard what sounded like sparking. He turned to see that the front of the plane had several holes in its control panel. Courtesy of Sykes handgun. He must of misfired in his scuffle with Ebony, and Ivory. He could see that he was heading to a cliff, and the ocean. The plane began losing altitude.
Dean then flipped a switch, and the hangar door began opening. Dean then looked out to see smoke. The plane was smoking. He looked to the cockpit to see Sykes was still banging, and shoving the barricaded door. He also saw water out the front windows. He looked down and saw sand, and small trees here and there. He also noticed a small blue dot following the plane. As the plane got closer to the ground, he could see the dot grow into the shape of a large car. A smile grew on Deans face.
"You made it Tikanni."
From down below, Tikanni could see the plane losing altitude, smoking, and the hangar door opened.
"Their going to crash," he said.
"CRASH?!" Everyone exclaimed.
Back on the plane, Sykes finally escaped the cockpit.
"Out of my way," he said as held out the gun. "This plane is going to crash, and i'm not staying in it when it does." He then moved to a small cabinet, and pulled out one of the parachutes.
"My boss will understand that I have no control of the plane crashing, so he won't be too mad."
"You have one shot," spoke Dean. "Four in the cockpit, and one through the window. You may get one of us, but you can't kill us all."
Sykes began backing out of the hangar. "I don't need to; the plane will." With that he jumped out of the plane. Once he landed, he was confronted by a man and a pack of wolves.
Tikanni's truck stopped a few feet away as he realized he was running out of road. He got out and the wolves followed. He didn't know who else was coming out of that plane. They then came across this fat man in a parrot mask.
Sykes didn't know what to do, he pointed the gun towards the nearest wolf.
"GUN," shouted Tikanni. He quickly got in front of Kate, and ran towards Sykes. The gun fired, and hit his abdomen.
Tikanni looked at his black shirt to see the little hole.
"It'll take more than that peashooter to penetrate my skin fatso!" Tikanni knocked him out with a single punch. He continued running to the cliff.
Dean quickly ran to see one last parachute on the plane. The limit was 500 pounds.
"Ok, Drew come here," he ordered. She did so, and he began strapping her to the parachute. "Where's yours," she asked.
"Ok, Ebony, Ivory," ordered Dean, "come here." Dean then grabbed Ebony, and strapped her to Drew's chest, and he lifted Ivory.
"Hang on to her."
"Dean, where is your chute?!"
"We'll go together," he spoke. He then strapped both of their duffel bags to Ivory.
He then walked with them to the hangar opening. Dean had a realization as the plane smoked even more. This is the metal bird. The burning metal bird. This was the metal bird that took him in his dream.
"Hey," spoke Dean. "I love you, Drew."
"Don't talk like that," she barked. "I'm not losing you after getting my memories of you back. Tell me after we jump."
"You see that blue car?!"
"Yeah!"
"That's your target."
Drew then realized something. She was holding Ivory, so she can't pull the string.
"Dean, I can't pull it." He then turned her back to the hangar opening."
"Tell my family I love them," he said.
"Wait! Nonono! No!!" She extended a hand, and Dean pulled the string. Drew flew out of the plane. She quickly grabbed onto Ivory, and looked to see Dean smiling as the plane continued to fall. She held onto Ivory, and cried.
Down below, Tikanni couldn't tell wether that was Dean or not. He never felt so powerless. "Please be Dean," he pleaded.
Back on the plane, Dean had knelt down. He then smiled. "What the heck. One last try."
After a moment, Dean looked out the hangar. "I am Dean, son of Kate and Humphrey, son of the Guardian, Sarah, and I am a soon to be Alpha of the United Pack.
Back on the ground, Tikanni looked on in horror as the parachute landed, and a girl, and two dogs were the ones attached. The girl quickly unattached herself from the parachute, and ran to the cliff.
"Dean," screamed the girl.
Tikanni turned to see the plane falling into the water.
"No," he shouted.
"My...pup," cried Kate. She couldn't hold it, and wailed for the loss of her pup. The siblings held onto her and cried as well as her mate.
"No," cried Humphrey.
"He's gone. My brothers gone," cried Tyson.
Willow was like the two Cane Corso, besides themselves. They didn't know what to feel.
Tikanni fell to his knees as he heard an explosion at the bottom of the cliff.
"I failed Waya," he spoke. "I failed Lyra, and I failed you. I'm so sorry."
Drew looked at the cliff.
"I just got you back," she cried. "Why!??!!"
No one noticed that a raven flew down a few feet away from them.
"Man, I can't believe I had to jump out of a perfectly good plane. My first plane ride too," spoke a familiar voice.
"Dean, you dummy," cried Drew. "The plane wasn't good if it was smo-." She then looked up at the voice. Everyone did the same.
"Hi, guy's," he said.
"DEAN!" Everyone shouted and ran to the battered human. He was tackled to the ground by Kate and Humphrey. They then began showering him with kisses and rubbing against him as they cried in joy and relief. He was bombarded with more affection and joyful tears when Tyson, Claudette, Stinky, and Runt caught up to Dean's parents.
"What are you guy's doing here," he said.
"Looking for you," spoke Kate.
"I'm so glad you guy's are here!" Dean held his parents as tight as he could. "You nearly brought the whole family."
Dean stood up, and the first person he saw was Tikanni.
"How are you alive," asked Tikanni.
"I got my wings," answered Dean.
"Well, you just keep coming up with surprises. Come here you knucklehead."
Tikanni then grabbed Dean in a bear hug. Once he was released, Dean was punched in the shoulder. Dean rubbed his shoulder, and confronted his sister.
"Don't you ever do that again," she screamed.
Dean then grabbed her in an embrace. "I thought I lost you!"
"I'm sorry, but I had to hurry."
"Just don't do that again."
"I promise. Oh, I would like you to meet, some very special creatures."
Dean then lead her to the group.
"Drew, this is my mother, Kate," he spoke motioning to her. "My father, Humphrey, my siblings Runt, Stinky, and Claudette, my best friends Tyson, or Ty, and Tikanni Akicita. Tikanni is Waya's nephew, and personal bodyguard."
"Like twelve great nephew," interjected Tikanni."
"Everyone, this is Drew, my sister."
"Hi, everyone," she shyly spoke.
Everyone said their hello's. Dean then heard a cough from behind.
"Oh, right mom, I need a favor."
"What is it Dean?"
"This is Ebony and Ivory. They need a place to stay. Could they stay in the pack?"
"You would have to ask your grandfather."
"Ok."
Meanwhile, a man was coming too after being knocked out.
He was being smacked repeatedly. "Hey," spoke the Native American man from before. "Wake up, Fatso."
"Wha."
"My friends sister would like to say something to you."
Tikanni moved out of the way, and Drew was behind him.
"Drew," muttered Sykes.
"You knew Ebbs was going to die," she spoke.
She then sent a side kick to the man, and everyone could distinctly hear his jaw breaking.
"Good form," spoke Dean. "Now, can we go home?"
"Yes, the police are on their way."
"Ok, let's count everyone up," spoke Tikanni. "Kate, Humphrey, Stinky, Claudette, Runt, Tyson, Willow, Dean, Drew, Ebony, Ivory, and me, so that's 12. We will be crammed.
"Dean, can't we just shift," ask Drew.
"You can, I can't," answered Dean.
"Why?"
"I'll explain once we have everyone in the car."
After a few minutes of adjusting, the assortment of creatures in the car was: Tikanni driver, Willow front passenger, Drew behind Tikanni, Dean next to Drew, Kate next to Dean, Humphrey next to Kate, and everybody else was in the back.
"We will be making regular stops," spoke Tikanni. Everyone said thanks, and Tikanni started the vehicle up.
"So, why can't you shift," spoke Drew.
"I shifted too much," answered Dean. "My powers won't heal if I overexert myself."
"Like you did in the arena," answered Tikanni.
"Yeah...Wait!? You watched my fight?"
"We all watched both of your fights," spoke Kate. "You both did very well."
"Thank you," they said.
"What's your plan now, Dee," asked Drew.
"I don't know," he answered. He then looked down at his feet with uncertainty.
"Hey," spoke Drew. She then grabbed his hand, and he looked at her. "We'll figure this out together."
"She is right," spoke Kate. "We'll all figure this out together. We're not losing you after just finding you again."
"She is right, son," spoke Humphrey.
"We'll help anyway we can," spoke Runt. His siblings nodded in agreement as well as Tyson.
"I can't let you leave," spoke Ty. "We still have a competition to settle."
Dean smiled.
"Ok," he spoke. "I don't plan on going anywhere. That is until Alpha School."
"Alpha school," questioned Drew.
"Oh, you need to be caught up to speed with wolf life," answered Dean.
Dean then proceeded to tell Drew everything there was to know about Alphas and Omegas with some small help from his mom and dad.
"Wow," spoke Drew. "So, I would be an Alpha?"
"Definitely," spoke Kate. "You're a good fighter, and very fit. You would be a great Alpha if you were a wolf."
"Thanks, so Dean, what great stories do you have while being raised by wolves?"
Dean rubbed the back of his head. "Well, I stopped a rogue pack, cured a blind wolf, helped my siblings win a competition, and appeased a ghost wolf."
"Woah woah woah, pump your breaks. You gotta give me more than that."
"Ok," Dean then went on telling Drew of all his adventures. After a few more hours of driving, Tikanni stopped the vehicle by a forest.
"Bathroom break," he spoke. "Everyone out of the vehicle."
Everyone did as instructed, and some of the passengers went into the forest.
"Mom," asked Dean.
"Yes."
"Can you hang back a moment? I also need Dad, Stinky, Runt, and Claudette."
Everyone stopped to hear what he had to say.
"I just want to say thank you for coming to save me. I'm really happy to see you guys, and I know you have questions."
"Why didn't you tell us you were dying," spoke Claudette.
Dean was taken back by her bluntness.
"I thought I could have handled it on my own, and then Drew happened, and mom and I fought. Which leads to the next thing I needed to say. Mom, I am so sorry I said the things I did. I was just frustrated that my plan wasn't working. I also don't want you to have felt obligated to take care of me, so if you want Drew and I out of the pack, We can live somewhere else."
Kate then enveloped Dean in a hug.
"I am so sorry I yelled at you," she cried. "I should never had said that Waya asked us to take care of you. I just was under a lot of stress, and Runt, Stinky, and Claudette got attacked. You were keeping secrets, and when you said we couldn't help you made me feel powerless and unable to help you. You need to know that your father and I chose you to be in our family."
"Yes, Waya asked us to take care of you, but it was Humphrey and I who chose to adopt you, and help you any way we could. Now, look at me son."
Dean looked into her eyes. "I don't regret ever adopting you. All the adventures we had have been so great because we overcame them as a family. Now, let's have a vow. No more secrets. No more hiding things. If something is wrong, please come to me or your father, and we'll handle it like a family. Like we always had." Kate then wiped her tears.
"All in agreement?"
Everyone said yes.
"I have another thing to say then," spoke Dean.
"What is it bro," asked Stinky.
"I just thought I should say this now. Thank you all for being my family, and making my time with you as great as ever. Mom, you taught me to fight, to lead, and to be a true Alpha. Dad, you taught me use an omegas clever mind. Stinky, I always love hearing your future ideas of how to make the pack better. Claudette, you're ability to keep pushing through your limits, and helping us always makes me smile. Fleet better treat you well. Runt, you're heart of gold always shines into everyone you're around. I always loved seeing it first hand. You're a true peacekeeper like Dad. You'll do great at Alpha School."
"I guess I'm saying this now, and I also want you all to promise me that you'll help Drew. She's my sister, and needs a family. Even if she is almost an adult."
"We promise to help her," spoke Kate.
"If she wants, she can stay with us, and we'll teach her to be a wolf," spoke Humphrey.
"I always wanted another sister," spoke Claudette.
"She seems fun to be around," spoke Runt.
"We'll just have to see how much of a fighter my new sister is as a wolf," spoke Stinky.
"Thank you all. This means so much to me."
"Dean?"
"Yes mom."
"You'll be ok."
This brought a tear to his eye.
"I know, I just, if I'm not-"
"You'll be fine son," spoke Humphrey.
More tears kept streaming down his face.
"I'm scared."
He then continued to cry as he was being held by his family.
"I don't wanna die," he cried into his mother's shoulder.
"You'll fight," she cried with him. "You'll fight tooth and claw to be well because I know you. You're our pup, and you don't give up. You fight."
After a few more encouraging words, Dean stood up.
"Thanks guys. I really needed that. I'll fight to get better.
"Yeah you will," spoke Claudette.
"Now, does anyone need to go to the bathroom," asked Dean. "Dad, I'm looking at you, and you better not find a cupcake."
"That was one time!"
Everyone began laughing, and after everyone had a break was back to the car and off to Jasper. Dean felt great. His family was back together, his human sister was hitting it off great with his other family. Ty also likes Drew. Runt has been talking with Ebony, and Stinky has been talking to Ivory.
After many stops, and hours of stories the wolves stopped at Tikanni's house.
"Ladies and gentleman, we are home!"
Everyone cheered and exited the vehicle.
"Dean, do you wanna do the honors," asked Kate.
"Why don't we all do it. Drew, you may wanna be a wolf for this."
"Ok."
Drew then shifted into a pure black she wolf with green eyes.
"How do I look?"
"Great, except for your deer antlers," joked Dean.
"What?!"
"Stop teasing, Dean," spoke Kate. "You look beautiful Drew."
"Thanks Kate, what do we do now?"
"Well, after Ty stops drooling," spoke Dean. Everyone looked at the big wolf with a drool stream leaving his mouth. He was then elbowed by Runt.
"Huh what," exclaimed Ty.
"Smooth move, Slick," spoke Dean. "We're getting ready to howl."
"Oh sweet"
"Dean, I don't know," Drew questioned.
"You'll be fine. I'll be human, and just do what I do. Here we go. 1.2.3.."
Everyone began howling, and Drew saw what Dean was doing, and joined in even Tikanni joined in.
Dean backed up when everything was over, and looked to see his family. This amazing family he was brought into.
He then heard his heart beat. Everything seemed to go quiet. He could only hear the howl.
Runt turned around and his eyes grew wide. "Mom! Deans bleeding!"
Everyone turned to see Dean bleeding from his nose, eyes, mouth, and ears.
"Mom," slurred Dean. "I don't feel so good."
He then collapsed on the ground before Tikanni could catch him.
