A little blood came out from the wound as Sasha tightened it more around her leg to stop any further bleeding.

"Sorry, sorry!" Anne said as she tossed the sword arm away. "Let's get back to the bunker, Maddie can fix you up again!"

Sasha nodded to Anne, still in pain, and grabbed their all of their swords before the latter picked her up again to carry her back.

"By the way, you're taking the sword to the leg next time." Sasha said.

"That's fair." Anne said as she began running to town bunker.

Anne knocked on the door and Toadstool opened it. Anne quickly got Sasha back to the medical tent.

"Let's hope I don't need to lose a leg now." Sasha said.

"You're not gonna lose a leg!" Anne denied Sasha's worries, "I promise, you'll be fine."

"Don't make promises you can't keep... we're basically at war, war has casualties."

"No one is going to die in this war. These people are stronger than either of us can know, they will survive this and so will we!" Anne said as she got them back to Maddie's medical tent. "Maddie! We've got another injury!"

"Another one?" Maddie questioned as she rushed in, seeing Sasha's stabbed legs. "How king has it been since she was stabbed?"

"About 5-10 minutes?" Anne said, not entirely sure.

"Alright, you may want to leave Anne, this is going to be very bloody." Maddie said.

"She's not gonna lose a leg, is she?" Anne asked.

"No, it will just be a little bit before I can stitch the wound."

"We'll that's a relief." Sasha said as she wiped her forehead.

"But it will be painful." Maddie added.

"Just start it." Sasha said.

Anne walked over and held Sasha's hand.

"I'm not leaving until you're all better."

"Your stomach." Maddie said with an eye roll.

Maddie removed the cloth and started to work on the leg. Anne looked at it.

"So much blood."

"I warned you. But it looks like the cape stopped a lot of the bleeding, so that's good." Maddie said.

"Now comes the painful part." Maddie said, pulling out a needle.

Both humans flinched at this, knowing that Maddie would need to sew the wound shut so it can heal properly but it didn't mean it would be pretty.

"I hate needles." Anne said.

"I hate sewing." Sasha added as she hugged Anne tightly.

"I hate people talking when I'm trying to work." Maddie said, glaring at them.

"Sorry!" Both girls said.

Maddie started to sew up Sasha leg, which caused Sasha a lot of pain. Getting annoyed of the painful screams, Maddie shoved a wallet into Sasha's mouth.

"Maddie!" Anne said in shock.

"My medical tent, my bedside manner and rules." Maddie said as she kept sewing.

"Besides, she can bite on it instead of screaming, I learned it from a show you showed us."

"Hmm?" Sasha let out in curiosity, looking to Anne.

"I showed the town the movie," Love Choice", a while ago." Anne clarified.

Sasha rolled her eyes, she hated that movie.

"Alright, almost done." Maddie said.

Anne and Sasha nodded to her, thankful that this was almost over.

"Thanks again, Maddie. Though I have to ask, since when did you become a medical expect?" Anne asked her.

"Since you left. A lot of people have gotten injured from these robots."

"Guess magic can't solve everything, huh?" Anne asked her.

"Nope but it does help." Maddie said as she finished stitching up Sasha stab wound…on one side. "There, now turn over so I can get the back of your leg."

"Mmm?" Sasha let out.

"The exit wound. Did you forget the sword went clean through?" Maddie asked her.

"I guess with all the... 'Excitement' she might've forgotten." Anne said.

Sasha turned around and Maddie got back to stitching. It wasn't as painful as before, but it still hurt.

"So, what bot caused this injury? None of them have ever had blades before." Maddie questioned them.

"It was a new one, one to mess with us... it looked like Marcy." Anne said.

Maddie felt a twinge of anger at that. That was her apprentice that damned King was disgracing, but it left as she had to remain calm in order to finish stitching up Sasha's leg.

"That is LOW. Using a copy of a friend to play with your emotions is just WRONG. If I ever see the king in person, I'll turn him into a beetle and eat him." Maddie said darkly.

"Don't." Anne said, "That would be too quick."

"No, it wouldn't. I would chew him NICE and SLOW." Maddie said with a glare.

"Can we focus on the task at hand?" Sasha asked talking the wallet out of her mouth, "How do we stop him?"

"Simple... we kill him." Anne said.
