Ruby felt her eye twitch as she looked down at the report card her team had received for the fifth time.

She wasn't bothered by any of her scores, in fact considering the sudden jump in grade scales she made, she was actually quite proud of the B-'s she had pulled off in the academic classes, and all the A's she got when it came to any other subject required for a Huntress like herself. The report card she was currently reviewing, however, gave her many reasons to be annoyed, in her sister especially.

When it came to combat, Scythle was getting near perfect marks. In everything else, each class was marked with F's and D's.

Turning her attention away from the piece of paper, she looked back at the message on her scroll; a picture of her twin next to a text bubble saying she would be at their room to talk in a few minutes. The time below the text bubble, however, told her that nearly fifteen minutes had past. Letting out an annoyed sigh, Ruby pocketed her scroll, grabbed the report card, and quickly walked out the door, intent on getting her sister to see her current failures in nearly every class.

"Now, if I were Violet, where would I-" Ruby began before her thoughts were interrupted by light clunking. Cocking an eyebrow as she approached the end of the hall, she peered around the corner to find her sister using whatever strength she had to shake a vending machine back and forth.

"I Told You To Work, Dammit!" Scythle yelled as the machine clunked back into its original position, the snack she had been trying to claim still stuck in its coil. Scythle growled at the machine before taking a few steps back, taking up a crane stance at the other end of the hall, holding up her Scythleg as she prepared to strike. "So Be It, You Metal-"

"Violet!" Ruby called out as she quickly attempted to put her sister's leg back down. "Do you know how much trouble you'll get into if you break a vending machine just to get a-" Looking back at the machine, Ruby once more found herself cocking an eyebrow. "-Pack of black licorice? I didn't know you liked black licorice."

"Oh, I Don't." Scythle stated matter-of-factually as she leaned against the wall. "But This One Girl Said She'd Date Me If I Made A Tower To The Moon Out Of It."

"… You realize that was probably-" Ruby began before shaking her head and pulling up the report card. "Never mind that, care to explain this to me?"

Looking over the report for a few seconds, Scythle went back to leaning on the wall. "That Is A Piece Of Paper With Words And Letters On It, So It's Probably Very Boring."

"Violet, these are your grades." Ruby growled as she pointed to the various F's down its side. "You're failing pretty much every class!"

"What?" Scythle muttered to herself as she snatched the paper out of her sister's hand, staring intently at the various letters on it. "No Way, There's No Way My Grades Are That Bad."

"You're failing everything but Combat." Ruby said as she pointed to the various F marks. "And say what you will about Pr. Goodwitch, but she doesn't play favorites."

"Glynda Wrote This?" Scythle asked before throwing the paper to the side. "That Explains It," She began explaining as Ruby quickly ran after it. "She Totally Hates My Guts. Wouldn't Put It Past Her To Mess With My Grades."

"Scythle, I've looked at the scores you been getting on all our assignments." Ruby said before holding up the paper, attempting to remind Scythle of the scores. "They line up pretty well with this."

"Th-Those Were Totally Rigged." Scythle said through a nervous grin as she leaned away from Ruby. "I Totally Should Have Aced Those, Too."

"Come to think of it, you haven't been spending a lot of time in the library with us." Ruby noted as she grabbed the back of Scythle's hood when the purple-haired girl attempted to run away. "When did you study for any of that stuff?"

"W-Well." Scythle began as she attempted to worm her way out of her sister's grip, where Ruby's sharp glare faltered, Scythle finally got the red girl to let her go. "Look, I'm The Main Character, I Absorb Information Like A Sponge."

Ruby let an annoyed sigh out through her nose as she crossed her arms, locking eyes with her sister. "What does Pr. Oobleck teach?"

"Dahhhhhhhhh." Scythle blanked, causing Ruby's glare to become more aggressive. "Oh, What Does It Matter? It's Not Like Its Gonna Effect My Life Any."

"Violet, if your grades don't get any better, they'll kick you out of Beacon." Ruby said sternly before pointing a finger at her sister. "And you know where that would land you."

In an instant, Scythle's care free attitude on the situation quickly gave way to fear as ever muscle tensed. Swallowing, Scythle looked back at her sister with a more concerned look. "A-Alright, You've Made Your Point." Ruby smiled upon hearing this before her sister attempted to get away from her as quickly as possible once more. "I'll Start Cramming Tomorrow."

"Wha-we still have an entire day for you to start now." Ruby said as she attempted to pull her sister back into the discussion, quite literally as she once again gripped Scythle's cloak.

"Hey, All Work And No Play Makes Scythle A Dull Gal." Scythle said, her lax tone once more returning, causing Ruby to glare at her much harsher. "Besides, I Need To Get Some Shopping Done In Vale"

"But you can't leave without an escort." Ruby pointed out as Scythle spun around and leaned in towards her, crossing her arms behind her back with a grin.

"Yeah, I Do." Scythle said as she inched closer to her sister, a more playful glare in her eye as she tilted her head. "Sooooo…?"

Ruby let out a sigh before crossing her arms once more, holding up one finger as she said, "Fine, but after this you're going to start studying." Scythle chuckled in response as she and her sister headed back to their dorm.

Ruby found herself quite literally being dragged down the streets of Vale, her end of the leash threatening to bite into her skin if not for her Aura as Scythle attempted to race down to the store. The violet haired girl didn't seem bothered by the way her right arm was pulled back behind her as she weaved through the crowd. She was the liveliest Ruby had seen her in days. "Hurry Up, Sis!" Scythle called behind her before rounding a corner. "We're Gonna Miss The Sale!"

"The shop doesn't close until… Ever." Ruby called out as she tried to make up the distance between herself and her sister, failing to recall a moment where Dust Till Dawn ever flipped its sign.

Scythle either didn't hear her sister or didn't care as she pulled up her scroll to look at the time. The streets were surprisingly crowded given how it was a quarter past ten, but Scythle didn't think too hard on that. Instead, she just focused on trying to get where she was going as she nearly pulled Ruby's arm out of its socket as she dashed down the path. Ruby almost fell across the sidewalk as the force of the restraint grew greater as Scythle left behind a furry of rose petals as she raced towards the store, and Ruby stumbled to her feet in an attempt to catch up.

"Violet, Violet!" Ruby called out as she caught onto a passing pole, causing her arms to cross over her chest far too tight for comfort. "Wait wait wait!" Ruby called out as she groaned in pan before the tension finally released itself. Letting out a sigh of relieve, Ruby turned towards her sister.

The purple girl had her arms crossed and was tapping her foot impatiently as Ruby approached her, rolling her shoulders as she did so in an attempt to ease the pain out. "We can't just use our speed semblance willy-nilly in the streets like that." Ruby said as she approached her sister.

"Why Not?" Scythle all but snarled at the red-haired girl, her gaze turning ever more harsh. "I Did It All The Time Before, And It Turned Out Fine."

"For you, maybe." Ruby began, crossing her arms in an attempt to mirror her look alike. "But what about those around you?"

"Dunno, Never Bothered Asking." Scythle responded before turning away from her sister before the handcuffs pulled on her wrist. The former criminal rolled her eyes as Ruby dragged her back towards her.

"Violet, using your speed like that can seriously hurt someone if you aren't careful." Ruby said before pulling up her end of the restraint. "Namely me. Do you want to cause an accident?"

"You Worry Too Much." Scythle groaned as she turned away again, blissfully unaware of the way Ruby was gripping her cuff. "If They Get Hurt, It's They're Fault For Getting In My-"

Scythle's speech was then replaced by a harsh cross between hissing and gargling as she was once again lit by the electricity pouring into her. Ruby reluctantly looked away from the new light source, scrunching her eyes as she listened to the cries of her sister before releasing the orange button, letting out a sigh as Scythle fell to her knees.

"Not… Funny…" Scythle muttered out as her skin continued to sizzle.

"Sorry, sis," Ruby began as she helped her sister back up to her feet. "But that's how I'm supposed to use this. It hurt me too."

"I Doubt That." Scythle mumbled as she staggered back up to her feet, slowly walking down the path with her sister.

Reaching the store, all of Scythle's energy seemed to have been restored as she started racing up and down the aisles, grabbing as many Dust packets and cartridges and crystals as she could, seemingly as carelessly as she could, setting all of the alarms in Ruby's head ablaze. "Didn't you cause a Dust explosion a few days ago?" Ruby asked as she tried to hold her sister back.

"Relax, This Is Different." Scythle stated as she threw another handful of Crystals into her bag.

"It's really not." Ruby stated as she was pulled further through the aisle. "Why do you even need all this Dust?"

"I'm Working On A Secret Project." Scythle noted as she put a finger up to her lips, giving her sister a quick wink before going back to hurriedly grabbing as many Dust crystals as she could.

"That sounds bad." Ruby muttered.

"Oh, Don't Worry," Scythle began as she threw another red crystal into her bag. "You Guys Will Love It!"

Ruby looked back down at the duffel bag Scythle was carrying, several pieces and bags of Dust sticking out of it as it was pushed to its limits before Scythle finally decided she had enough. "Come On, I'll Buy You Something Pretty On The Way Out." Scythle stated as she pulled Ruby towards the checkout.

"Wh-H-How are you going to pay for all this?" Ruby asked, looking between her sister and the bag in her hand. "There must be a thousand Len worth of Dust in that!"

"Three Thousand Seventy-Eight, If You Round Conservatively." Scythle stated as she dropped the bag onto the glass counter, allowing the cashier to first gawk at the amount of Dust, and then start totaling the cost. "But Don't Worry, I'm In No Short Supply." Once the worker finally got the price down, Scythle quickly ran a purple card through the slot on the table.

The machine let out a low-pitched buzz as its screen lit up red.

"What The…" Scythle muttered to herself before throwing it through again, yielding similar results. Scowling, Scythle blew on the strip and ran it through again, once again making the machine buzz. "That's Weird, This Is A New Card." Shrugging, Scythle pulled out another card and ran it through the slot, once again yielding rejection. "Hey, Eh… Frank, I Think Your Machine's Busted."

All she got in response was a silent shake of the head as 'Frank' crossed his arms. "What, You Don't Actually Think It's My Card, Do Ya? I Have Enough Money In My Accounts To Buy The Planet If I Wanted!" Scythle scowled as she slammed her hand on the counter, quickly reaching into her pocket for her scroll. "Watch, I'll pull up my balance right now." The purple-haired girl fumbled with the device for a few seconds before pulling up the screen.

Her scowl tightened as she read the notice informing her the account had been closed, and she was absolutely certain she wasn't behind on any payments.

"One Sec, Frank." Scythle said as she turned around, leaning back against the counter as she dialed the number. After a few seconds, the other end clicked.

"What do you want, Ms. Dieful?"

"Hey, Glynda, Care To Explain To Me What Happened To My Bank Account?" Scythle snarled at the woman on the other end.

"Oh, that? We got in contact with banks around Vale to have the money withdrawn from them all before closing them." Glynda explained. "You didn't think we'd let you walk around with that much money at your fingertips, did you."

"Oh, So When I Steel From Peoples' Accounts, It's A Crime, But When You Steel From Mine-" Scythle growled into the phone, pointing at the device as if Glynda could see her.

"Oh, hush now. This is to ensure that you don't misuse such funds." Glynda stated. "We've seen what you use it for when you aren't planning a heist, and your spending habits seem careless at best."

"Ghee, Thanks Ma." Scythle snarked as she glanced back over at the cash register, once again taking in the now rather large looking price of the Dust. "So How Exactly Do You Expect Me To Maintain My Equipment Now That I'm Flat Broke."

"Well, Beacon does offer several different chances for part-time employment during your stay." Glynda said as Scythle heard her lean back in her chair. "Most missions assigned to our teams do offer payments, though we also hav-"

Whatever Glynda was going to say next was cut off by Scythle clicking her phone off before stuffing it back in her pocket. "Figures." She mumbled as she found her eyes landing on the confused face of her sister. Locking onto her silver eyes, Scythle's face grew into another smirk as she turned towards Ruby. "Don't Supposed I Could Ask For A Lone, Dear Sister?" She tilted her head to the side as she saw Ruby wince at the request. "Don't Worry, I'm Good For It."

Exiting the store, Scythle refused to look at anything other than the five Dust Crystals in her bag, rattling against each other as she was guided by the link between her and her sister. "This Isn't Even A Half Of A Fourth Of What I Was Aiming For!" Scythle remarked as she zipped the bag closed.

"Gimme a break, Dust is expensive and I planned to do some shopping too." Ruby remarked as Scythle through the bag over her shoulder.

"This Wouldn't Even Get Me Halfway Anywhere." Scythle mumbled to herself.

"Why do you even need that much Dust?" Ruby asked as she looked over her shoulder at her sister. "Did you want to recreated what you did to Peach's class?"

In response, all Scythle did was chuckle as she placed a hand on her hip, once again giving Ruby her sly smirk. "Well, Now That Glynda's Trying To Stop Me, I Don't Want To Spoil The Surprise."

Ruby let out an annoyed sigh as she looked between the various streets around them, looking for any traffic that might be coming their way before stepping onto the crosswalk. "Come on, let's just get the ammo and go home."

In response, Scythle silently shrugged as she eyed up a passerby, doing who knows what with his scroll as it seemed to take up all his focus. Smirking, Scythle silently and quickly darted her hand into his back pocket, quickly pulling out his wallet and eyeing up all the cards sticking out of it. She'd need to start out small if she were to re-amass her fortune.

"Put it back, Violet." Scythle groaned before quickly darting back and silently putting the wad of leather back into the man's pocket, crossing her arms as she continued forward. To her surprise, Ruby didn't resume walking until her sister was beside her.

This would be harder than she thought.

Three-hours out, two stores visited, roughly forty different people passed just asking to have their pockets picked, and Scythle still had not a lien to her name as she and Ruby walked back down the halls of Beacon to their dorm room.

How annoying.

"I should be able to fix your staff with this stuff." Ruby noted as she looked into the plastic bag she was carrying to eye up all the electrical do-dads she had bought, the handcuffs nuzzled in with them. "Can I get your schematics?"

"Um…" Scythle mumbled as she rubbed her chin. "37-25-4-"

"Not like that." Ruby said as she nudged her sister's shoulder. "I mean your weapon's schematics. You know, the blueprints?"

Scythle just gave Ruby a blank stare.

"The design?"

Still nothing.

"The thing that tells me how to put it together?"

"Oh." Scythle snapped her fingers as Ruby rolled her eyes away from the purple girl. "Yeah, I Don't Have Those."

"Well where are they?" Ruby asked.

"Where Ever The Things That Don't Exist Are."

"You don't have blueprints?" Ruby asked with an exasperated expression, getting a nod from her sister. "For any of your weapons?!" Once again, Scythle confirmed what Ruby thought as the red-haired girl's eyebrow twitched. "Wha-bu-How did you put them together in the first place? How am I supposed to fix them without blueprints?"

"You'll Just Need To Work Your Weapon Smith Magic." Scythle stated as she patted her sister on the back.

Once again, Ruby let out an annoyed sigh as her sister threw open the door to their room, loudly announcing to its occupants, "We're Home!"

Said occupants included only Weiss and Blake, the former jotting down notes from a textbook at the writing desk and the latter reading a book on her bed. Neither of the two looked pleased to see their new teammate as she disturbed the silence they had begun to enjoy. In an instant, Scythle was sitting on the bookshelf between the beds, propping one foot up as she leaned against the window, as if attempting to push her skirt up as high as she could. Ruby immediately took interest in the ceiling as Scythle put her fingers together. "Now Then, What Zany Antics Are We Going To Get Up To Today, Team?"

"Don't you have classes to study for?" Weiss asked as she glanced over at the purple disturbance in her concentration. "You have months of assignments to catch up on."

"I'll Be Fine." Scythle remarked as she jumped off the bookshelf, pushing out several books in the process, much to Blake's cringe. "I'm The Main Character Remember; We Never Need To Worry About Stuff Like That."

"So you keep saying." Blake sighed as Ruby looked back at the pile of parts that once made up Scythle's staff.

"Can you at least fill me in on the design principles?" Ruby asked.

"It's An Electric Stick That Folds In Half. It's Not A Fighter Jet." Scythle remarked. "You'll Figure It Out."

Ruby let out a groan as she walked over to the pile of purple scrap that made up her sister's staff, realizing how much time she was likely to spend in their room as she attempted to figure out how the pieces went together. Scythle, meanwhile, once more threw the door open, leaning back towards the rest of her new team with a carefree expression. "Well, If None Of You Guys Want To Do Anything Fun Today, Where's Yang?"

"Library." Blake said, refusing to look back at the girl as opposed to her book. "Something about helping get Nora to study."

"Man, The Other Fanfics Made You Guys Seem Way More Fun." Scythle commented before turning her back on the room, crossing her arms with an annoyed expression. "Screw It, I'll Just Have To Make My Own Fun."

Disappearing in a furry of purple rose petals, Ruby quickly ran over to the frame just in time for her sister to not be there before leaning out the door, looking down the hall as it filled with roses. "But Violet, you promised to…" Clenching her teeth behind her lips, Ruby banged her fist against the door frame before turning back to the remainders of her team. "She's so… Difficult!"

"Not the first word I would have used." Weiss commented, glancing over her shoulder at her leader.

Ruby let out a sigh before she put her hands in her pockets, shaking her head as looked back out into the hallway, eyes tracing the trail of rose petals her sister had left behind. "I just... I don't know how to get through to her." Ruby said as she looked between her two teammates. "How do I make her see how important this is?.. Do you guys have any ideas?"

"Oh, I have several." Weiss commented as Ruby walked out the door. "But you wouldn't like any of them."

"You're being too soft on her." Blake commented as she stuck a bookmark in between the pages of her book before setting it aside. "She's lived her entire life without having to hear someone tell her 'no' before, and your not offering any form of resistance. She needs discipline if she's going to learn from her mistakes."

Ruby mulled over what Blake said for a few seconds as she looked back at the trail of rose petals. "Yeah, I guess that makes sense." Ruby said before stepping out into the hall. "I'm gonna see if I can track her down, put your advice into practice." With that, Ruby quickly darted down the hall as fast as she was allowed to, following the trail of purple her sister had left behind.

Night descended over Beacon as it usually would, leaving Team RWBYS's dorm room faintly lit by moonlight creeping in through the window as the team slept near silently. Their newest member, however, remained awake, staring intently at the faint glow of her scroll as it displayed the time to her. As soon as the clock struck twelve, Scythle quickly folded it up before silently climbing out of her and Ruby's shared bed. After quickly reattaching her Scythleg, she crept over to the closet and quickly and quietly as she could, pulling Ruby's spare pajamas off with ever step, leaving the pieces of fabric across the floor before disappearing into the closet.

She came out mere seconds later, fully dressed in her standard attire, looking around the room once more, Scythle pulled a piece of black fabric over her face, hooking it behind her ears with a smug smile. "I'm Sure Blake Won't Mind Me Borrowing These." She muttered to herself before tiptoeing over to Weiss's bed and pulling out a suitcase. "Or Weiss." She carefully opened the casing to eye up the many vials of Dust nuzzled into black foam. "Not Like They'll Know Before I'm Done."

Closing the suitcase once more, Scythle tiptoed over towards the door, carefully reaching for the handle before stopping. The hallway was likely filled with cameras, and the last thing she needed was to make an appearance on TV this early. Shaking her head, Scythle looked back at the window as she plotted her new course.

The first thing that caught her eye was the familiar silhouette of her sister sitting up in bed before jumping down into the moonlight, barely illuminating her features as she crossed her arms and glared at her sister. "What are you doing?" Ruby asked in a cross between a growl and a whisper.

"O-Oh." Scythle began as she rubbed the back of her head, trying to come up with a lie on the spot. "I Was Just About To Get Some… Munchies, I Get Hungry At Night."

"You were getting a snack?"

"Yes."

"With Weiss's Dust supply?" Scythle looked back down at the suitcase in her hand, realizing all too late that she was still holding it and it was in perfect view of her sister.

"Oh, I Thought I Could Use It To Carry The Snacks Back." Scythle stated. "I Get Really Hungry, And-"

"And you're wearing Blake's panties across your face because you're worried people might judge you?" Ruby sarcastically asked, leading Scythle to nervously shake her head as Ruby stepped towards her. With a quick motion, Ruby pulled the undergarments off of Scythle's face, flicking the backs of her ears in the process before crossing her arms. "I'll ask again, and I want the truth, what are you doing?"

"I Told You, I'm-" Scythle began before Ruby snatched the Dust case from her. Eyes widening, Scythle attempted to crab the case as Ruby placed her foot against her sister's stomach, turning and leaning away from her as she looked inside the case to see all the vials of Dust still inside.

"Again with the Dust. Why do you need so much Dust?" Ruby asked before her eyes widened. She sent another glare at her sister as she stood back up. "You're not."

"Okay, Look, Sis," Scythle began, opening her arms with her best smile. "There's A Perfectly Good Reason For This."

"You're trying to escape, aren't you?" Ruby said more than she asked her sister.

"… And That Would Be It." Scythle stated before she used what little space she had to jump off the door behind her over her sister. As soon as she landed, she grabbed the side of the case with one hand and landed an open hand jab against her sister's shoulder with the other. As Ruby stumbled back, she lost her grip on the case, giving Scythle the opportunity to make a dash for the widow before Ruby grabbed her cloak and yanked her back. Ruby quickly wrapped her arm around Scythle's neck and locked her leg around Scythle's right in an attempt to keep her in place.

"Why?" Ruby asked into her sister's ear, scowling as hard as she ever had in her life as her sister attempted to wriggle out of her grip. "This place is giving you a home, a chance to turn your life around-" Ruby's voice was swiftly cut off as Scythle worked her grip to the suitcase's handle before batting it into Ruby's face, once again knocking the red-haired girl back. In an attempt to make a dash for the window again before her foot hooked onto Ruby's, tripping her.

Quickly attempting to climb back up to her feet, Scythle looked over her shoulder towards her sister as she tightened her grip on the case's handle. "That's All An Attempt To Make Themselves Look Good." Scythle said as Ruby attempted to jump at her. In a fury of violet rose petals, Scythle was at Ruby's side, allowing the girl to fall past her. "And I Refuse To Be The Means For Someone Else To Get Ahead, Not Unless I Get Something Out Of It."

Ruby quickly shot towards her sister, curving back around in a trail of rose petals as Scythle once again dodge. Getting as much speed as she could, Ruby gripped onto the collar of Scythle's cloak and slammed her sister into the wall behind her. "You could have had a normal life." Ruby said as she crossed her arm across Scythle's throat, pinning her to the wall. "You could have had a family!"

In response, Scythle chuckled as she sent Ruby another mischievous grin, serving more to annoy the girl rather than worry her. "You Think I'm Just Gonna Find Some Long-Lost Sister One Day And Everything Turns Out Hunky Dory?" Once more activating her speed semblance, Scythle quickly kicked the red-haired girl off of her. As Ruby tumbled to the ground, Scythle stood over her, her face much more menacing in the dim lights and shadows of the room as she placed her Scythleg's barrel on Ruby's chest. "If I Really Mattered To You That Much, Where Were You When The Grimm Separated Us? Where Had You Been When I Lost My Leg? Where Had You Been For The Past Twelve Years?!"

As Scythle leaned towards her sister, Ruby quickly grabbed her collar once more and rolled her onto the ground, reversing their position with Ruby pinning Scythle to the ground. "But you told me your name, you said it was because you trusted me." Ruby growled as she leaned towards her sister.

"Yeah, Well," Scythle began before she quickly punched Ruby's face back and forth before pushing the red-head off of her. Quickly getting to her feet, Scythle unfolded the blades on her Scythleg, causing Ruby's eyes to widen once they saw the blades glisten in the moonlight. "Kinda Hard To Manipulate The People That Don't Trust You."

"Manipulate?" Ruby muttered to herself as she jumped over Scythle's initial swing, going back to staring daggers at her sister when she landed. "You've been lying to me?"

"Don't Take It Personally." Scythle said as she attempted to swig at her sister again. As Ruby jumped over the purple girl, the curved blade buried itself into the wall. "I Lie To Everyone. Better For Business, Makes Everything So Much Easier."

As Ruby turned to face her sister, Scythle attempted to pull her weapon out of the wall to resume the fight, only to find it clunk and refuse to budge. Shifting the blade any way she could, Scythle heard the blade scraping against the tiles on the other side of the wall before Ruby once again pinned her to the wall, pushing the back of the purple girl's head.

"I was ready to give you an entire new life away from all that death and destruction." Ruby stated as she clenched her right fist. "I got you a place on my team, in my school, in my family. I wanted to help you!" Before Scythle could retort, Ruby quickly slapper her hand across the purple girl's mouth, silencing her. "Do you have any idea how exited I was when I learned that maybe I wasn't alone? That maybe our-That maybe my mom left me a little more than a symbol to aspire to? That maybe my first family wasn't all gone?"

The glare in Scythle's eyes waned with the moon as she felt Ruby's grip on the back of her head begin to loosen. "You killed, stole, and did whatever you could to suit your needs. You were selfish and self-centered and I… I didn't care about any of that. I was just… So happy to have a little sister…" Gritting her teeth, Ruby tightened her hold on her sister's hair before pulling her close. "But if you didn't want any of that, just want to run off and go back to basics, fine."

Throwing Scythle's head back one more time, Ruby let go of the purple girl before turning away from her, pulling the suitcase out of the criminal's grip before marching back to her bed as the rest of the room stared at the display of emotions from their leader, unsure of what to do when they saw Scythle pinned to the wall by Ruby of all people. "Just don't say I didn't give you the chance, Scythle." Ruby sneered before quickly climbing into her bed, quickly tossing the suitcase to its rightful owner.

As Yang jumped out of her bed to comfort her sister, and Blake and Weiss looked between each other as they silently wondered what had happened, Scythle stared up towards the red-haired girl with a more distraught expression. Hesitantly, Scythle leaned down and unhooked her Scythleg with a soft click before sliding down the wall, refusing to take her eyes off the two sisters as the blonde pulled Ruby close.

"… Sis?" Scythle mumbled as she felt her eyes become heavier as she leaned against her prosthetic stuck in the wall, the adrenaline rush wearing off as she slowly began to realize what she had just thrown away.

Scythle groggily opened her eyes, finding the room was much more lit than it had been when she last closed. She quickly noted that she wasn't in her and Ruby's bed, and was instead leaning against her prosthetic weapon, still stuck in the wall from last night. She looked back down at her weapon before turning towards it, giving another attempt to work the blade free before she heard a light thud as Ruby jumped out of her bed. Scythle quickly leaned back to face her leader, giving the red-haired girl a hesitant smile and Ruby walked towards the closet.

"H-Hey, Sis," Scythle began, yielding no response from Ruby. "Can You Help Me Work My Leg Out Of The-"

She was cut off by the harsh slam of the closet door, Ruby quickly disappearing from her line of sight behind the wood. The chipper attitude Scythle has attempted to put up quickly crumbled as she looked down at the floor. Feeling her lower lip start to quiver, Scythle silently asked herself, "What Have I Done?"
