Blake's heels splashed in the murky water as she stepped back to add as much tension to the rope as she could, tightly pulling it around the brute of a man to bind him to a water tank. Taking one last step to ensure it was tight, she quickly jumped over to him and tied the rope into a knot as tight as she could. Once the rope was tied, she took a step back and let out a sigh before turning to look at the twins as they tied up the rest of the group. "Think this can hold him?" She asked, gesturing to Javan.

"No Idea." Scythle shrugged. "Still, Worth A Shot."

"Okay," Ruby said as she tightened a rope around Scorpio's legs, before stepping back away from the criminal handcuffed to the water tank to look at her group. "They're all tied up, now how are we getting anything out of them."

"Simple." Scythle smirked before pulling a nail out of seemingly nowhere. "We Poke These Under Their Fingernails And-"

"No." Ruby said, snatching the metal needle out of her sister's hand with a scowl. "We aren't killing them, and we aren't torturing them."

"Oh, Come On!" Scythle said. "How Else Are We Going To Get It Out Of Them? They're Not Just Gonna Spill The Beans Easily."

"Well we're still not torturing them." Ruby reaffirmed as she crossed her arms. "At least not like that."

Scythle let out a groan as she turned away from her sister, quickly deciding that arguing with her was pointless. "You Take The Fun Out Of Everything, You Know."

"You're 'fun' got you put on death row." Ruby stated as Scythle looked over at Blake.

"So, You're An Ex-Terrorist," Scythle began, causing Blake to scowl at the purple-haired girl as she continued. "You Know Any Ways To Loosen Their Lips?"

Blake continued to scowl at Scythle before realizing that the purple girl was probably incapable of understanding why before letting out a sigh. "Have you ever heard of good cop/bad cop?"

"What's A 'Good Cop?'" Scythle asked, and the two girls with her let out an annoyed sigh as they tried to figure out whether the girl was joking or not. "Eh, What-Evs, Dibs On Bad Cop."

"Does good cop/bad cop work with three people?" Ruby asked, and Blake just shrugged in response. "Well, I'm sure we can make it work, you just be ready in case anything goes wrong." Blake nodded as she turned away from the two, walking over to a corner as the sisters turned their attention back towards Scorpio's unconscious body.

"Let The Fun Begin!" Scythle shouted as she scooped up a bucket of water before throwing it into Scorpio's face. The water painted his face a dull gray, and the splash of the water was the only sound that followed. With a slight scowl, Scythle scooped up another bucket of water. "Oh, Come On, I Know Someone's Home." She muttered before she once again threw the water into his face, and he remained still as it rolled off his features. Scythle quickly scooped up another bucket of water, and as she pulled back, quickly drained it all out of the bucket before throwing the hunk of plastic into his face.

With a thunk, it bounced off his head, causing it to bash against the metal container behind him as he grit his teeth. His dark-grey eyes cracked open as he looked at the two girls in front of him, seeing Ruby look at her sister with surprise as he groaned out, "Ow-"

"Let Me At 'Em!" Scythle suddenly shouted as she grabbed onto his clothes, pulling out a knife before Ruby caught her arm, preventing her from stabbing into the man. "Let Me At The Little Punk! I'll Make Him Talk! I'll Tie Him To The Back Of My Car And Drag Him Across Vale And-"

"Sis, sis!" Ruby yelled as she pulled Scythle off the man. "We haven't asked him anything yet."

"Yeah, So?" Scythle asked in a rather calm tone.

"So sorry about my sister here." Ruby said to the man as she pushed Scythle way, leaning against the tank as the man cocked an eyebrow at the girl. "She has a lot of energy and is rather easy to excite. Now look, I know we kinda broke into your lair and gave you guys a good butt kicking, but I kinda want to help you, and I won't be able to do that if you don't work with me here-"

"What are you two doing?" Scorpio asked before Scythle grabbed at his throat.

"We'll Be Asking The Questions 'Round Here, Buster!" Scythle asked as she pulled back her knife. "Now Where Were You On The Night Of July 18, 2014!?" All that came out of the man was strained groans as Scythle narrowed her eyes. "Not Talking Eh? Well, I Have Ways Of Making You-"

"Amethyst, you're choking him!" Ruby yelled as she pulled Scythle off of the man again, and Scorpio gasped as air was allowed to enter his lungs again.

"Oh…" Scythle said as Ruby took the knife out of her hand. "Yeah, That Explains It."

"Okay, look," Ruby said as she knelt down in front of Scorpio. "I'm not sure how long I can hold my sister here back, so how's about you tell us about those drugs you're using, and we'll turn you over to the authorities nice and gently."

Scoprio just scowled at the girl in front of him, shaking his head from side to side. "I don't make deals with kids like you, especially not terrible deals."

"Okay Then, How's About This:" Scythle said before placing her other knife up to the man's throat, allowing him to feel how sharp the blade was without breaking the skin. "Tell Us What You Know, Or I Stab The Other Leg."

"The other-" Scorpio began before Scythle pulled the knife back, spinning it around in her hand before attempting to stab it into his knee. In a flash, a cloud of rose petals covered Scythle's hand as Ruby took the weapon, leading to Scythle simply punching the bone before the purple girl scowled at her sister.

"Are we going to need to do this all night?" Ruby asked, stuffing the blade into her pocket as Scorpio groaned in pain.

"We'll Do This For As Long As It Takes!" Scythle yelled before charging at her sister, slamming her against another tank.

"Woah, Amethyst, what are you-" Ruby began asking before Scythle slammed her free fist into the tank as hard as she could, causing it let out a loud metal clang.

"You'll Talk When I Tell You To!" Scythle yelled. "Now What Are You Planning? What Do You Need This Stuff For? Answer Me Damnit!"

Scorpio cocked an eyebrow as Ruby struggled against her sister's grip, trying to push the purple girl off of her as Scythle pulled out her staff, allowing streaks of electricity to crackle off of it. "Tell Me What I Want To Know While You Still Have The Chance!"

"Amethyst, we're supposed to be interrogating him!" Ruby said, pointing towards the bound criminal.

Scythle glanced over her shoulder to look at the man, and her eyes widened before she got off her sister and clicked her staff off. "Oh, Right…" Scythle muttered, giving her sister a nervous smile. "Sorry, I Got A Little Carried Away."

"Just tone it down a bit, okay?" Ruby asked. "Be more realistically bad?"

"Realistically Bad, Got It." Scythle nodded quickly as Ruby got up off the tank.

"And please, keep it focused on him." Ruby said before she approached Scorpio with wet footsteps, once again leaning against the tank. "Now then, how's about you just tell us what we want to know, and we can get through this nice and painless, we don't need to make this any harder than it needs to be."

"Yeah, Just Fess Up, Scumbag!" Scythle said, placing her hands on her hips before she leaned towards the robber. "Although, If I Just So Happen To Become Five-Hundred Lien Richer, We Could Probably Make This Whole Thing Disappear."

"Bad cop, not corrupt cop!" Ruby yelled into her sister's ear, causing the purple girl to jump back.

"Aren't Those The Same Thing?" Scythle asked.

"You two are terrible at this." Blake said as she approached the two.

"Hey, I Thought I Was Doing Rather Well." Scythle said as Ruby pinched the bridge of her nose before looking at her raven-haired teammate.

"Please tell me you have a new plan." Ruby asked as Blake directed her attention to Scorpio.

"Just let me handle this." Blake said as she walked towards the criminal, kneeling down towards him with a scowl. "Now listen here, we have your entire operation here figured out, from the drugs to your usage of the sewer systems to get here, we can easily get Vale's police force or Hunters here. If we can't break you, they will. So why don't you make it easy on yourself and tell us what we want to know?"

"You think I'm buying that?" Scorpio growled, scowling back at the girl in front of him. "What makes you think I'll listen to you?"

"See all the damage we've done here?" Blake asked, gesturing to all the broken tanks, bullet holes, and distorted walkways around them. "This was all done by huntresses-in-training. I'd like you to imagine what fully trained Hunters can do."

"Especially The Bad Ones." Scythle added in, slipping in behind Blake. "You Know, The Ones Who Do Anything For A Pay-Check?"

"You… You're bluffing." Scorpio said, and Scythle smirked upon seeing the way his eyes shook. "You're bluffing, you wouldn't, you couldn't."

"Try Us." Scythle said as she opened her Scroll. She glanced at Scorpio for a moment, waiting for to see if he'd crack before tapping her thumb onto the screen, pulling the device up to her ear as she turned away from him. "Hey, John, It's Me. You Packed Your Incendiary Slugs, Right?"

"Incendiary-" Scorpio stuttered as his eyes went wide. "Okay-okay, I'll talk! Just keep this 'John' out of this!"

"… Never mind, I Think We Have It." Scythle said before pulling the home screen away from the side of her face, pretending to hang up on the man on the other end before turning back to the bound criminal. "Now Then, The Drugs, Tell Us All About Them."

"'Drugs?'" Scorpio echoed as the group directed full attention to him.

"You're Dust based performance enhancer." Ruby said, pulling out a canister they had taken from the other members of the criminal group. "The stuff you used to make your robberies possible."

"You mean the Garugoylian Gold?" Scorpio asked, and Scythle felt her eyes twitch upon hearing those words. "Why would you want to-"

With a click, Scythle swung out a pistol, aiming at the man's shoulder with gritted tooth. "Answer Our Question."

"I-I don't know what to tell you." Scorpio said as Scythle leaned in.

"Everything." Scythle growled. "How Do You Make It? What Else Do You Do With It?"

"Make-We don't make it." Scorpio said. "We bought it. That's why we needed to hit Dust stores, the blowhole wanted that stuff for it."

"Who?" Ruby asked.

"The seller." Scorpio said. "Calls himself L'eaudemer." A cold feeling ran up Scythle's spine upon hearing the name, and the gun began shaking in her hand as he continued. "I don't know much about him, he just started selling this stuff a few months ba-"

With a loud bang, the bullet ran out of Scythle's pistol and ripped through the metal next to his head, causing Blake and Ruby to jump back in surprise as Scythle grabbed Scorpio by his caller, pulling him in. "Where?" Scythle asked with a growl. "Where Do You Make The Trade Off!?"

"At the docks!" Scorpio said as Ruby and Blake attempted to pull Scythle off of him. "He's expecting us in a few hours, around 11:30, but that's all I've got!" Scythle pulled the pistol back, rolling it around in her hand as she shifted it into knife form, and before she could bury it into his skull, Ruby grabbed her arm and directed it into the metal next to him.

"Oh, so now you understand your roll?" Blake commented as the two girls pulled Scythle back away from him.

"Thank you for your co-operation." Ruby said to the criminal as Scythle tried to slip out of their grip. "We'll be sure to give you a four-and-a-half-star witness rating as the police come to pick you up."

"Police?!" Scorpio said as he wrestled against his cuffs. "We had a deal!"

"Deal was no corrupt Hunters." Blake said. "Police are fair game."

"Why you little-" Scorpio growled, and while he continued to wrestle with his cuffs, the two students dragging the purple girl turned to climb the ladder. As the two left, Scythle shifted her weapon back into pistol form, lining the iron-sights up with the man's head before Ruby yanked on their cable.

"We're leaving now, sis!" Ruby called out before Scythle let out a groan, turning her attention back to the robber.

"Next Time, We Make Up For This." Scythle said before clicking the barrel of her Scythleg against her other ankle, turning away from the criminal as she grabbed onto the ladder.

"How far are the docks?" Ruby asked as Blake looked at the map on her Scroll.

"We might be able to make it if we're fast." Blake said as she glanced at her leader. "Assuming we remember which way we came."

"Eh, Don't Worry Guys." Scythle said as she climbed up onto the concrete ledge. "I Know A Short Cut."

"And By The Power Of Transitions," Scythle said as she gestured to the docks around them, taking in the smell of salt water while Ruby and Blake looked over the scene. "The Plot Moves Forward At A Convenient Pace!"

"You guys ran the whole way carrying me." Blake corrected before scowling back at the purple-haired girl. "By the way, Scythle, if you touch my butt again, I'll end you."

"But It's So Big And Squishy." Scythle said, further earning Blake's ire as Ruby squinted her eyes, trying to get a better look at the darkened area.

"Did fake scorpion guy mention where specifically at the docks they were supposed to meet?" Ruby asked.

"Well, It's Not My Fault You Dragged Me Out Early." Scythle said as she crossed her arms.

"You were going to kill him." Ruby retorted.

"Yeah, And-"

"Hold on," Blake said as she put a hand up to Scythle's mouth, pointing over to the peer. "I think I see someone."

"The seller?" Ruby asked as Scythle darted over to the edge of the building, trying to look through the dark night as far as she could.

"Probably." Blake said. "Looks like he has a few crates of something, and a few guys-"

"Well Then," Scythle said as she unfolded the scythe blades on her leg, sticking them into the building as she leaned back and lined up her shot. "Let's Whittle Them Down And Even The Odds."

"No, Amethyst!" Ruby called out as she tackled her sister, throwing off Scythle's aim as the bullet ignited in the chamber, racing out of the weapon and flying through the air at one of the men. It was supposed to hit his head, though due to the way Scythle was thrown to the side, it instead sailed past him and ripped into one of the crates. In an instant, the crate's content explodes, letting off a plume of smoke and yellow flames as the criminals were thrown back, and others were startled by the sudden turn of events.

"Wow, Guess The Stuff Does Have Dust In It." Scythle said as Ruby quickly pulled her down to the ground, with Blake diving down as well before scowling at the purple girl.

"Nice going," Blake snarked. "We could have easily took them by surprise before you did that."

"Relax, It Will Be Fine." Scythle said as she glanced over at the criminals, seeing a few of them moving to check the bodies thrown by the blast in the light created by the burning crate. "Just Follow My Lead."

In an instant, Scythle was back on her feet before she ran off the edge of the building, pulling Ruby into another hiding position before darting around the shipping containers as Blake followed them. Quickly working her way to the other end of the criminals, Scythle pulled out one of her pistols and put a bullet into another crate, allowing its content to combust just like the last one, throwing more of the criminals back as the two sister's zoomed past in a trail of rose petals. As the masked figures turned to see what was happening, Blake jumped on top of one of the shipping containers and threw her ribbon around the man's weapon, quickly yanking it with all the might she could, slamming him into the container wall, knocking him out.

As another guard looked up to see what was happening, Ruby and Scythle charged into him, slamming him into a wall as Scythle pulled out her staff and quickly jumped on the only remaining guard, quickly tasing him in the throat as she directed her attention to the only figure left standing.

Wheels turned across the concrete as he rolled back, gloved hands curled into fists as the axe blade at the end of his tail scrapped the ground. His pale face wore a cold expression for a moment, with a single eye scowling at her over a round, beak like nose, while a bright gold light shone from the right side of his face. After a moment, the man smiled before correcting his posture, allowing Scythle a clearer view at what looked like fake wings wrapped around his chest.

"Scythle Dieful." The man said with a voice much higher than the scar under his glowing eye-patch lead them to believe he would have. He folded a hand behind his back as he opened the other, allowing the metal claws at the end of his fingers to shine in the light of the glowing flames. "You certain know how to make an entrance."

"You Lewdly Mare?" Scythle asked, causing the man to roll his eye.

"That's L'eaudemer." The man corrected, giving the purple girl a scowl as his dolphin-tail swung to the side, allowing the axe blade to scrape against the concrete. "You of all people should know that." Scythle cocked an eyebrow at the man as he folded his hands behind his back. "Honestly, it hasn't been that long."

"What Are You Talking About?" Scythle asked, pointing the end of her staff at the Faunus. "Who Even Are You?"

L'eaudemer let out a soft chuckle, not in any way fazed by the way Scythle had her weapon aimed at him. He took a quick glance to the top of the shipping container to see the silhouette of the raven-haired girl aiming her weapon at him. "I see you brought friends." L'eaudemer said as the wheels at the ends of his prosthetic legs began turning again, rolling him forward as his purple eye looked back at Scythle, who tightened her grip around her weapon, jabbing it forward to make it clear she would attack him. "Don't suppose you came back to work for me again?"

"… Again?" Scythle asked, feeling an odd itch begin to develop around her head. She put her other hand up to her temple, lightly running her fingers across her scalp before realizing the odd sensation was coming from well below the skin. Ruby looked at her sister with concern, seeing the shine of her white teeth in the lights of the fires before Scythle returned to glaring at the man in front of them. "Who. The Hell. Are You?"

L'eaudemer let out a sigh, shaking his head from one side to the other as he tilted his head down. "Scythle, Scythle, if you're trying to get a rise out of me," He looked back up at the former criminal as his eyepiece began to glow brighter. "It's working."

With that, an odd buzzing rang out around them, and the three students reached up for their heads upon hearing the high-pitched noise. Ruby cracked an eye open to see the world spinning around her as the group began swaying back and forth before falling over. Their weapons cluttered to the concrete as Blake fell off the edge, and as she fell, Scythle flicked her wrist and pulled out her pistol, trying her best to aim it at L'eaudmere as he skated forwards.

"Put that down." He said, and though Scythle could barely make out his voice through the way her head was spinning, she found her fingers slowly begin to roll open. She tried her best to resist it, to regain control of her hand and fire the weapon at the man, but her grip only continued to loosen as L'eaudmere rolled forwards. "Put that down."

Eventually, Scythle gave in, and the weapon cluttered to the floor in front of her. L'eaudmere leaned down to pick up the pistol, and stared into Scythle's barely opened eyes as he wrapped his clawed fingers around the grip. "Honestly, I'm not sure what we were thinking with this design. But you wanted a gun knife." L'eaudmere let out a sigh as he stood up, looking down at the girl with an almost disappointed look. "Yes, the other weapons just weren't enough for you, were they? You just had to have more. You were always a greedy little child."

"I… I Don't…" Scythle said with a slur as she tried to push herself up, only to slip and fall back down onto the concrete as L'eaudmere threw the pistol to the side. "I Don't Understand… What You're Saying…"

L'eaudmere sneered upon hearing Scythle speak those words, and began grinding his teeth as he leaned towards the girl once more. "Your little joke has run it's course, Dieful. Let it die already."

"I'm… Being Serious…" Scythle said. "For Once…"

"… You actually did forget me, didn't you?" L'eaudmere asked before looking up at a burning crate, catching a glimpse of the remains of one of the canisters before he rolled over to it. "Then allow me to ring a few bells." He said as he wrapped his claws around the container before skating back over to Scythle. "This is Garugoylian Gold, it's a serum I invented to enhance the user's physical abilities. It could make even the weakest among a group a strong warrior. All I needed was someone who'd be willing to take it. And then I found a lonely little girl limping through the streets, cold and hungry."

"… No…" Scythle groaned.

"Getting you to take Garugoylian Gold was easy." L'eaudmere recounted, throwing the canister to the side. "Training you in the arts of combat with a new prosthetic weapon based off one of the most dangerous weapons on the planet took longer. But with a little conditioning," Scythle let out a grunt as his voice distorted in her ears, and in spite of the fact that he wasn't telling her to do anything, she felt the oddest urge to obey, to fulfill his request then and there. "You became a formidable fighter and my best lieutenant, following my every order and killing every target I sent you after, with or without a choice. The alterations it made to your brain chemistry were most beneficial there."

"No…" Scythle groaned again. She looked up at L'eaudmere as he crouched down in front of her, pointing to his eye piece.

"Under normal circumstances, this frequency would only disorient those who heard it. But with the alterations caused by Garugoylian Gold, it becomes a command you can't ignore." His eye narrowed at the girl as he reached for her collar, gritting his teeth as he stared at her. "But then, somehow, you got away, free of my control, and you left the empire I was building to crumble to dust. Now I need to rely on those dimwitted robbers to gain the resources to produce enough Garugoylian Gold in the slim hopes of producing another assassin just like-"

"No, I Mean…" Scythle groaned, cracking her other eye open to look at him. "I Legit Don't Understand… What You're Saying…" L'eaudmere snarled at the girl as she said this, and Scythle's head bobbed from one side to the other in his grip. "You Sound Like You're Talking Underwater."

"For goodness…" L'eaudmere muttered as his eyepiece clicked off, allowing the buzzing to die as he pulled Scythle up. "I created you! Your strengths, your weapons, your image. It was all done by me for the sole purpose of creating a criminal empire that I could rule, and you ruined it!"

Ruby shook her head as L'eaudmere went on, before seeing the red shine of Crescent Rose lying at her side. "I don't know how you escaped me," L'eaudmere continued as Ruby reached for her weapon's trigger. "But I shall ensure that it will never happen again-"

With a loud bang, Ruby shot up into the air, and as L'eaudmere looked up to trace her, he was quickly yanked up with Scythle before losing his grip and falling onto his back. Cracking an eye open, he saw Ruby and Scythle beginning to fall towards him, and his eyepiece glowed to life as he climbed back to his feet. Ruby and Scythle winced upon hearing the nose, and the back of Ruby's weapon struck the concrete next to him instead of her intended target as he got to his feet.

"Scythle," L'eaudmere growled. "Destroy her." Scythle's eyes shot open upon hearing the command, before she slowly turned her attention to her sister.

"S-sis?" Ruby asked as Scythle pulled out her other pistol with a jerk. Ruby glanced at L'eaudmere as he began strolling towards Blake, who propped herself against the shipping container next to her and aimed her pistol at him shakily.

With stiff jerks, Scythle swung her arm up, ready to put a bullet into her sister before Ruby ducked under the shot. As the bullet rushed out of the barrel, Ruby swung herself back up, grabbing her sister's wrist and twisting her arm, keeping Scythle's gun aimed at the ground as she dropped Crescent Rose and shoved her arm under Scythle's chin, pushing her sister against the shipping container.

"Sis, listen to me, you have to fight this!" Ruby called out as Scythle began struggling against her grip.

"I'm… Trying…" Scythle grunted as she spun them around, pressing against the wall. She stopped her Scythleg onto Ruby's foot and let off a shot that threw them into the air. As they fell to the ground, Scythle spun them around and allowed Ruby to take the blunt of the impact as she rolled off her sister. The cable between them yanked on their arms as Scythle stood up, once again aiming her gun at her sister.

As Blake staggered back away from the approaching criminal, L'eaudmere brandished his claws, gritting his teeth at the raven-haired girl as she shifted her weapon into sword mode. "I always hated getting my hands dirty." L'eaudmere growled before he swung at Blake, scrapping sparks off of the shipping container as Blake leaned back before attempting to swing her sword at him. With her head spinning and her ears aching, she completely missed, allowing him to easily catch the blade in his clawed hands.

"But considering what you just cost me tonight," L'eaudmere yanked on the weapon in his hands, pulling Blake towards him as he brought up his other hand to slash her. Instead, his claws met the side of her cleaver sheath, leaving long silver lines across it as she put a foot onto the shipping container. She quickly jumped off of it, in the hopes that the sudden momentum would cause him to lose his grip on her weapon, only to result in her loosing her grip on her weapon as she stumbled against the other wall.

"I'll gladly make an exception." He said as he threw the weapon to the ground, wheeling towards her as he prepared to slash at her again, once more scrapping his claws against her sheath.

As Scythle pulled the trigger, Ruby quickly bolted to the side, slamming into the wall of the shipping container before pushing forward. She staggered under Scythle's next shoot before attempting to slap the gun out of Scythle's hand, only service to knock the gun to the side as she ran into the girl, knocking her down and pinning her against the concrete. As they collided with the ground, Scythle shifted her weapon into knife form before attempting to jab it into Ruby's head. The red-haired girl quickly caught Scythle's arm, keeping her from moving the knife down any further. Clenching her fist, Scythle quickly punched Ruby across the face in an attempt to get her to let go, and would have done so again if Ruby hadn't grabbed her next strike.

With a grunt, the two rolled over, allowing Scythle to pin Ruby to the ground as she slid her arm out of her sister's grip. She once again attempted to plunge the knife into her sister, only for Ruby to grab her wrist, holding the strike back with all her might. Scythle briefly attempted to wrestle out of it, before pulling her head back and striking Ruby's face with her forehead. "Sis, please!" Ruby called out as she felt her Aura begin to wane, before Scythle brought her head down again, further weakening it. "You got out of this once-" Scythle brought her head back down into Ruby's, and with a flash of red, Ruby felt her nose crack as Scythle brought her head back up. "You can do it again!"

"I…" Scythle grunted as her sister's grip on her arms began loosening. "… I…" She quickly uncurled her fist and dug her nails into Ruby's hand as she wrestled her knife back, quickly bringing it up above her.

"I'm Sorry!" Scythle cried as she loosened her grip on her knife, allowing it to slip out of her hand before she could stab into Ruby's. Instead, Scythle slammed Ruby's knuckles into the concrete, and quickly slid her fingers along the cuff on Ruby's right wrist before pressing onto the orange button.

As the two girls cried out in pain, Blake ducked under another set of slashed from L'eaudmere before attempting to slash at him with her cleaver, only for him to easily block it with the axe at the end of his tail before spinning around. Blake's attempt to duck under the attack was a vain one, and the impact threw her to the side and onto the ground. As she attempted to pick herself up, L'eaudmere placed a wheel on her weapon as he looked down at her, scrapping his tail along the concrete as he flashed his teeth at her.

"Look on the bright side." L'eaudmere said as he brought up the axe blade. "This will only hurt for a second-"

In a furry of purple rose petals, Ruby and Scythle tackled the criminal, pushing him off of their teammate as Ruby kneed him in the stomach and Scythle spun around him, quickly bringing herself to the ground and throwing him away. "Yeah?" Scythle asked as he picked himself up, quickly aiming her pistol at him. "Well I Know What Won't!"

"You little…" L'eaudmere growled as he stood up, swinging his tail as he uncurled his claws, ready to strike the dizzy girls before Blake quickly rolled over to her gun. Quickly folding the blade back, Blake threw the weapon out as L'eaudmere charged forward, swinging the sickle around to strike his eyepiece.

L'eaudmere let out a loud grunt as the device on his eye was destroyed, and the buzzing quickly died out. In an instant, the girls began to regain their sense of balance before Ruby and Scythle leaned out of the way of L'eaudmere, yanking on their cables and allowing him to trip over it. L'eaudmere fell to the ground, hitting the hard concrete before letting out another snarl. Before he could attempt to bring up his tail to attack the three, Ruby put her foot on top of the weapon as Scythle put her own foot on his back, pinning him to the ground.

"I Think It's Safe To Say It's Over, Lewdly Mare." Scythle said as she aimed her weapon at him once more. "It's Impressive How The Guy Who Trained The World's Best Killer Would Be Such A Crap Fighter."

"You little brat." L'eaudmere growled as he tried to push himself up, only to find Scythle's strength pushing down on him won out. "I made you, and this is the thanks I get?"

"Oh, You Made Me, Alright." Scythle said, kneeling down on him to press the barrel of her pistol against the back of his head. "You've Made Me Angry."

The purple-haired girl let a sinister smirk cross her lips as the criminal under her squirmed. She was ready to pull the trigger, pay him back for what was undoubtedly months of hardships, pain, and suffering. Before she could, however, Ruby grabbed the weapon in her hand and yanked the gun away, scowling at her sister like she had hours earlier. "Amethyst, we've been over this, you're not killing anyone."

"Oh, Come On!" Scythle yelled as she stood up, getting into her sister's face. "You Heard The Guy! He Had Me Hopped Up On Drugs And Mind Control For Months, He Made Me A Killing Machine At Age Ten, He Deserves This!"

"But that's not yours to decide." Ruby said, crossing her arms.

"It's My Life!" Scythle shot back, flaring her teeth at her sister.

"It was your life." Ruby said. "You can't change what's happened to you, sis."

"No, But I Can Make Him Pay For It!" Scythle said, causing Ruby's face to harden further.

"Sis, where has that mindset gotten you?" Ruby asked. "You're one slip-up away from death row, remember? If Beacon finds out you did that-"

"Then Let's Make Sure They Don't Figure It Out." Scythle said, leaning towards her sister to whisper, "I Won't Tell Them If You Don't."

As the sisters continued their argument, Blake reached into Scythle's pocket and pulled out another pair of restraints, before clicking the locks around L'eaudmere's wrist, restraining his arms behind his back. Once the cuffs were in place, Blake's ears twitched under her bow, and her eyes immediately looked up as she quickly began scanning the sky, tightening her grip on her weapon as she quickly found the sound's source.

"Look, Rubes, Consider This-" Scythle began before Blake tapped her arm, drawing the sister's attention.

"Uh, guys…" Blake said as she aimed at the approaching figure, before finally realizing just how big it actually was as it came in. With wide eyes, the three jumped back, allowing the large mass to collide with the concrete in front of them, kicking up a large cloud of dust upon landing.

The group aimed their weapons at the cloud as the dark silhouette stood up, before it finally cleared to reveal the familiar brute that was Javan, skin painted a light shade of grey by the dust clinging to his skin, with broken wrapped around his wrists.

The three gulped nervously upon seeing the criminal, and Scythle allowed a nervous smirk to cross her lips. "Hehe, Guess It Couldn't Hold Him…" She said, more to herself than to the two girls with her.

"Think he's still bullet proof?" Ruby asked as she kept her weapon aimed, before the brute slammed his fists into the shipping container at his side. With loud metal creaking, he quickly lifted it over his head, and the group began firing at him as they began backing up. In their panic, most of their shots missed, and the ones that did land on him failed to do anything as he brought the container down. It broke into the concrete as the three jumped back, skidding back before the metal deformed, bending towards them before breaking out of the ground and charging at them.

The group tried to jump out of the way, only for Blake and Ruby to get slammed by the metal as Javan threw it off the edge, dragging Scythle back with them as they fell into the water. As the giant hunk of metal began to sink, Javan turned his attention towards L'eaudmere as he struggled to his feet. Just as L'eaudmere stood up, Javan marched up behind him and threw the criminal over his shoulder. "You're coming with me." He growled.

"Now, wait just a minute, you-" L'eaudmere attempted to argue before Javan kicked off the ground, throwing the two high into the air, kicking up more dust as Javan left small craters in the ground.

As the two criminals flew off, Scythle pulled her head out of the water, taking in as much air as she could before Ruby and Blake surfaced with her. "Well," Scythle said as she pulled herself out of the water. "Guess That's How He Got Away The First Time."

"Super-jumping, why didn't I think of that?" Ruby said as she and Blake pulled themselves out too. Scythle took a quick glance back at where they had left L'eaudmere, finding the spot left completely empty before she turned her attention to her sister, crossing her arms.

"You See Sis," Scythle said before gesturing to the empty spot. "This Is Why We Should Have Killed Him."

"For the love of…" Ruby groaned as Blake took off her bow, trying to knock the water out of her ears. "Let's just head back to Beacon."

"Any ideas how we can find those two again?" Blake asked as the group made to leave the docks.

"Eh, No Clue." Scythle sighed with a yawn, feeling the night beginning to catch up with her. "Ask Me In The Morning, I'm Dead Tired."

The criminal pair landed with a loud *Crash!* as they broke through the warehouse's roof, letting in a stream of moonlight above them as L'eaudmere finally managed to squirm his way out of Javan's grip, cluttering to the ground as he scowled up at the man. If it weren't for the fact that his eye piece was inoperable, L'eaudmere probably would have ordered the man to jump off a cliff, before realizing that it might not have been enough to actually kill him. As he picked himself up, L'eaudmere was ready to verbally lash out at the faux rhino, before the man crossed his arms and glared down at him.

"Now then," Javan began, holding an open hand out to the criminal. "You owe us some Garugoylian Gold, give it."

"Are you kidding?" L'eaudmere growled, thrashing about in his restraints as he continued to snarl at the man. "My entire shipment was destroyed not ten minutes ago!"

"So make more, fish-boy." Javan growled.

"First of all, I am just as much a mammal as you are." L'eaudmere snarled. "And your request would be much easier if you hadn't taken me in the opposite direction of my base."

Javan stomped towards L'eaudmere, causing panic to swell up in the criminal as he rolled backwards, seeing Javan clench his fists and grind his teeth. "Then tell me how to get there before I-"

Before the threat could be made, Javan suddenly straightened himself, looking up to the sky as he gasped for air, allowing the red blade sticking out of his chest to shine in the moonlight. He choked in his throat before the blade was pulled out of him, and he fell to the floor with a loud *Thud!* that echoed through the room. Rolling back further, L'eaudmere glanced down between the dead body and the dimly glowing figure behind it as the assailant stepped forwards into the light, giving L'eaudmere a clearer view of the black suit and white mask the man wore.

"L'eaudmere, I presume." The horned man asked as he sheathed his sword. "We'd like to place an order."

And thus, we bring to a close the second arch of RWBYS. I'm going to be honest, I'm not too sure how this one turned out. I only had a vague idea of where I wanted this to go, and I was mostly making stuff up as I went along, which to me is normally a red flag that a plot hole is impending. I mean, that's how RWBY and Kingdom Hearts were written, and look at the plots for those two. I mean, I've only heard of how convoluted Kingdom Hearts' timeline is, but still. I also have the feeling I did this arch a little too early. I mean, I started this ark that briefly explored Scythle's back story at chapter 14. I kinda have the feeling I should have waited until a later point to pull this card instead of pulling it now. But I wanted just one more original arch before I jumped into RWBY Volume 2.

On that note, we're getting into RWBY Volume 2, ladies and gentlemen… Well, sorta. Before we get to the official Volume 2, I'm going to try adapting the Ultra Jump RWBY manga, which… I'll save my opinions on for when I've finished adapting it. Thought I'll tell you all this, I haven't actually finished reading it yet. As of writing this, I'm currently on chapter thirteen out of fifteen using a blog called Remnant Scans, which I need to use because all the other online manga reading websites I could find didn't have all fifteen chapters.

And no, I won't just buy the actual thing. 1. I don't have a credit card to buy it. And 2. Call me petty, but I'm not giving anything so much as tangentially related to RWBY, or Rooster Teeth for that matter, so much as a dime. I've become that sour to the show and the people who work on it.

Once I get that wrapped up, I can start on the manga adaption, which shouldn't take more than one-or-two chapters. Sorry it took so long to get this chapter out, real life became a bit more demanding in the past few weeks, and I had to focus on some more important things. Anyway, I'll see you all next time.
