Alright, so some of you guys have probably seen this coming. And I probably imagine that there's a lot of you who probably aren't happy.

To recap for those who may have missed it for whatever reason, I recently talked about how I had grown dissatisfied with how RWBY: Black Rebellion, or more accurately ACT 1 had been handled due to how it retreaded canon events and only made slight changes, but never making big changes until the very end. I talked it over with my friends, and of course it was Daemon of Wrath, who had been my closest friend and fellow writer who had helped me write many of the stories that now line my repitoire since the day I got shot in the fucking shoulder so many years ago (I hope you rot in hell you asshole! My shoulder still hurts to this day!), who raised the problem in redoing Volume 1 as it would wipe away all of the hard work we had done. Hell, I even made a poll asking you guys whether or not I should undo all those toiling months and years of hard work just so I could possibly write a "better" version.

It has been a month, and I've made my decision.

As of today, RWBY: Black Rebellion will be undergoing a reboot.

Now, before you all start throwing stones or raise the pitch forks or run my ass out of here, let me ease any concerns you guys might have. You all already made it clear that undoing ACT 1 is going to be a massive undertaking since I'll be delving into original content, but it will only be the entirety of ACT 1 and the first few chapters of ACT 2 that will be affected. Any plans me and Daemon have for future chapters and future installments are entirely unaffected, though admittedly some ideas will have to be changed to better fit with the rewrite of ACT 1.

As for what changes you all can expect for the redone version of ACT 1:

● Rouge Rose (*cough*Lelouch*cough*) will be a year or so older than Ruby, making him 16 rather than being 15.
● Rouge will attend Haven Academy instead of Beacon Academy. The reason for this change is mainly because, well, I have not read very many RWBY fanfics who explore other Academies, which is admittedly for a good reason since we never got a good look at the other schools until now. We know pretty much all there is to know about Beacon, we've seen Haven but haven't actually gotten the chance to see it in full as it is closed during the events of Volume 5, we've only recently gotten a few glimpses of Atlas Academy (that I know of anyway) and RWBY: Before the Dawn finally gave us a good look at Shade. I chose Haven because, well, it's the second school we were officially introduced to and there are some interesting plot points to explore (that may or may not involve Leonardo)
● Rouge will be part of a four-man team instead of being by himself or becoming the fifth member of an already existing team (for obvious reasons as those ideas have been done to death) is Team Leader. This team will be filled with canon characters and not OC's. The team members are Arslan Altan, Bolin Hori and Sun Wukong. Team name is undecided, but if anybody has some suggestions, feel free to speak them.
● Some events of Volume 1, such as "Jaunedice" and "The Badge and the Burden" will be mentioned.
● The reboot of ACT 1 will take place concurrent to the events of Volume 1. Rouge and his team will travel with Sun to Vale when the events of "The Stray" will begin.

And that's it for the most part. For those of you who were hoping this wouldn't happen, I'm sorry for being selfish and I hope you can find some enjoyment in the rewrite of ACT 1. For those of you who are looking forward to the rewrite, I hope you will like what I have in store.

One last thing to announce. I am currently debating on whether or not I should transfer my content over to Spacebattles Forums, mainly on account of how, well, toxic some people on Fanfiction dot net can get as I've begun to realize. (Looking at the a-holes who've been bugging me about Seventh Heaven's status) I'll let you know more about that sometime later. In the event I do migrate my content to Spacebattles, it will only be a certain number of fanfics.

As I've recently discovered my own limits, I'll say this: There is no way in hell I can truly ever juggle so many freaking stories and expect to get to them all in a reasonable time, regardless of whether or not Daemon of Wrath assists me in that endeavor.

Anyway, that is all the news I have to share at the moment.

Farewell, dear rebels. I will see you on zero hour.

Starlight's Poet, out.
