Okay like I said, I promised I would work on some of this and I will. Just gonna get a few out before I leave for a while. Remember this ain't the end... only the beginning.

[Unknown Location]

A pool of black slime stuck in a dark red and purple land began to stir itself. A large paw emerged from within the slime and a Beowolf gradually crawled out, slime sliding off of it and onto the ground.

Several more pools, filled with many more Beowolves emerging from them stretched across the land. Further and further beyond was a mostly dark and desolate land made up of red ground, purple crystals, and a red and black clouded sky.

Then from within we see Ivan, Kiss and Sharkface reflected in a window, watching from inside a high building. Ivan looked out in disgust, Kiss in horror and Sharkface with a straight face as he wasn't fazed by the land. A gloved hand appears between two purple crystal formations and snaps its fingers.

The large windowed room held many members, even one seat for a few absent members, at the center of which is a long purple, crystal table. The four main people sat at the table with seven chairs. One of them is for Dr. Pill, dressed in CT's armor, calling his people away from the window. The three leave the window and take up the seats next to him, all except Shark face who stood behind him.

The man sitting across from Dr. Pill, Arthur Watts, is looking at his Scroll.

Next is the man to Pill's right, Tyrian Callows. He sat in a crouch casually on his chair, resting his arms on his knees.

Across from Tyrian is Hazel Rainart, arms crossed, as he looked asleep.

Pill sat quietly, while Sharkface rolled his neck cracking several bones, loud enough to awake even Hazel. Pill turned back to Sharkface to straighten him out with a simple headshake.

Watts acknowledged that, "Yes, yes, please keep your posse in check."

Sharkface only huffed as he remained calm as Dr. Pill lowered his head.

"You hear that? Silence. A moment for some one no longer with us?" Watts poked at the loss of CT.

Hazel gave Watts an unimpressed sideways glance.

Watts continued his uppity remarks, "I've half a mind to thank the little girl that bested you."

"If I were you, I'd hunt her down. Find her and, well, she took your eye, didn't she?"

Pill only stares at Tyrian while he cackled at him. Pill was going to speak but only remained quiet as a vow for his beloved. Ivan leans in to hear him speak.

Watts scoffed at the gesture, "Pathetic. Why did you even—"

The sound of a heavy metal door being unlatched filled the room as everyone stood at attention for the Jenkins/Chrovos hybrid. They walk alongside the table with soft footsteps before reaching the head of it, jewels jangling from the neck. Jenkovos or Chrokins stopped, facing away from them and toward a candle and crystal display.

"Watts. Must you act so serious in the presence of those you ally with? And must you be oh so cruel?" The eternal being quizzed in it's almost whimsical tone as they gesture for everyone to sit down.

Watts bowed his head, "I apologize, my lord. I'm not particularly fond of failure."

Watts sits while the God stood looking out the window.

"Then I see no reason for your cruelty towards young Dr. Pill. He has the power of our Fall Maiden, destroyed Beacon Tower, and most importantly, killed dear Ozpin. So I'm curious, to what failures are you referring?"

"Well, the girl with the Silver Eyes, our loss of Cinder, and let's not forget the fact CT our once former Maiden was bested, by a group you refer to as mere morons." Watts answered.

Hazel entered back into the conversation, "Yes. We've dealt with their kind before. How is it a group of novices was able to best one of us?"

"My thoughts exactly. Even without her new power, it should have been effortless." Watts stated.

Their Lord spoke to them, "It is because of the Maiden's power. Make no mistake, Dr. Pill you hold the key to our victory. But your newfound strength brings with it a crippling weakness. Which is why you will remain by my side as we continue your treatment."

Dr Pill is unhappy about this and lowers his head, Kiss looked at him in sympathy.

The hybrid being, "Dr. Watts, you are to take Pill's place and meet with our informant in Mistral."

"Very good." Watts agreed.

"Tyrian, I want you to continue your hunt for the Spring Maiden."

Tyrian laughed with enthusiasm, "Gladly."

"And Hazel, I'm sending you to the leader of the White Fang. Adam Taurus has arranged the meeting. The boy continues to prove loyal. Ensure that Sienna Khan feels the same." The overlord demanded.

Hazel bowed his head slightly in agreement, "As you wish."

Dr. Pill raised a finger, as Sharkface did not fail to notice this gesture for a moment.

Sharkface leaned in to hear his ally speak, his whispers were so soft that no one but the person's ear could listen.

The overlord rose his hand to Sharkface, "Speak, child."

"He wants to know... What about the idiots?" Sharkface hesitated.

Watts scoffed at the question, "What about them? Seems to me that this is your problem, not ours."

Dr Pill pulled out his large ax shotgun, brandishing the weapon at Watts, who grins at her.

"That's enough. Tyrian?"

Tyrian eagerly awaited the orders, "Yes, my lord?"

The morphed God gave his new orders, "Spring can wait. Find the people who took out CT... and the girl with silver eyes."

Tyrian giggled elatedly and clapped.

"Bring her to me... but don't bother sparing the rest."

Tyrian froze, groaned disappointedly, pouted for a second, then looked back up at his master with an acquiescent shrug.

"Because of your efforts, Beacon has fallen. And Haven will be next."

Everyone rose and started to leave the room.

Tyrian snickered at Dr. Pill and pointed to his left eye.

Tyrian laughed wickedly, "Eye for an eye."

Tyrian went into an uncontrollable fit of manic laughter, while Darius gritted his teeth.

[Somewhere in Anima]

An almost clear blue sky casted above a thick green forest. The area inside the forest was dense with vegetation before team JNPR or the remaining members cut their way through it.

Nora continued to argue her point across, "I'm just sayin'..." Nora continued her discussion with Ren as they emerge from behind a tree, walking together, "...There's more members of JNPR in this team than RWBY. It just makes sense to go with that one."

"But "junior" isn't a color." Ren pointed out.

"How can I be more clear?" Nora puts out her hands and the letters JNRR pop into existence. She points to the first three, "One, two, three. That's more than one." Nora pointed to the R.

"But we're helping Ruby with her objective." Ren held out his hand and the letters RNJR pop into existence. Behind him is Jaune Arc is crouched and watching something. Ren pointed to the first R, "Wouldn't that make her the leader?"

"Guys!" Jaune called out to them softly making Ren and Nora turn their heads toward him, "We need to focus... Also, JNRR is way cooler."

"Exactly!" Nora finished

Ren went to speak, but instead just groaned.

Then came a rumble.

"It's here."

Ruby Rose then came flying backwards from trees, firing Crescent Rose in the direction she came from. A collection of floating boulders with a Grimm mask moves the trees aside, clearly chasing her.

Ruby began to fall, crashing against almost every tree limbs along the way.

"Bad... landing... strategy!" She grunted on the way down.

Ruby landed on her feet on a big tree branch strong enough to hold her weight. She used her Semblance to fly past the Grimm.

Jaune, Ren, and Nora look up.

"Let's get that thing off her." Jaune ordered running toward them. Ren jumps up into the trees with one massive leap.

"Don't forget me!" Nora cheered as she pulled out Magnhild and shoots it at the ground, propelling herself into the air with excited whooping. landing right besides Ren in his branch.

Ren reacted as quick as he could, "We need to draw its attention away from Ruby!"

As a stream of rose petals, Ruby flew past them calling out to them, "Could use some help!"

Nora shoots the Grimm in the back as Ren hops around on the many branches. The Grimm tries to hit Ren. Ren runs up its rock arm, flies into the air, and comes down upon the Grimm, striking at it with Storm Flower. Ineffective as it appears to have done no damage.

"Gotta get in closer!" Jaune notice.

Ren lands beside Jaune to inform him of the bad news, "My blades don't hurt him!"

The Grimm turned towards them, standing upright.

Nora called out the whole situation in one word, "Crap!"

"How about this?!" Ruby loaded a magazine with an image of a lightning bolt on its side into Crescent Rose and fires. Electric bolts encase one of the Grimm's arms. The red lines on the arm shined brighter, and the Grimm slams it into the ground. All are sent flying backwards, but Ren, Nora, and Ruby manage to land on their feet. Jaune tumbles along the ground painfully until he hits a boulder between his legs and falls forward.

Jaune began mimicking an earlier conversation, "You'll be fine without a weapon. You're the strategist."

"That's it!" Nora declared.

She rushed forward, tossing Magnhild into the air and transforming it into hammer mode. She jumps into the air and hits it, breaking its arm apart. A large piece flies straight toward Nora, but Ruby gets between them and knocks it away. The Grimm used its other arm to strike at the two girls.

Jaune straightened and stretched out only to have to dodge a barrage of rocks. After playing his game of avoiding the boulders, he landed safely back on his feet to warn his friends, "Hey! Be careful!"

The a rock the size of his head hits him in the face, sending him into a tree. Jaune landed in a crouch position and shook his head to clear the pain.

"Just sit back Jaune..." Emerald appeared from behind him as she finished loading up her guns to attack the creature, a smirk on her face showed her fierce and ready side to take on this monster, "I'll take it from here."

"Great... you brought Caboose right?" Jaune asked, getting no answer, "You brought Caboose, right?"

"He's getting us some food..." Emerald admitted as she recalled telling Caboose to get some food for the group.

Jaune panicked at the idea of the strongest member of our team, disappearing to get food, "He's doing WHAT?!"

"He's getting food! Besides we can handle this." Emerald argued as she fired more shots at the creature.

The Grimm continually tried and failed to hit an evasive Nora. Finally the Grimm's armless shoulder gains a glowing red circle with a symbol of an eye in the middle. The circle spins, and then a black, elongated arm with clawed fingers emerges from it. Twitching sporadically, the arm continued to move on it's own.

Jaune noticed what the Grimm was doing, "Uh-oh."

Shoving its new arm into the tree Jaune was leaning against and lifts it from the ground.

Jaune wasted no time running away, "His arm is a tree! His arm is a tree!"

"Big mistake!" Ruby declared spinning Crescent Rose, loading another magazine into it - this one with image of fire on its side. She fired her shot and the flaming projectile swings around to the tree arm. Jaune fist pumped the air in celebration before the tree arm swings around to him, on fire, making him lose his smile.

Jaune the put his hands into his hair and started running again, "Big mistake!"

The Grimm chased Jaune, swinging the flaming arm at him, missing twice, but then Jaune fell. One of Storm Flower spun through the air and makes a cut across the Grimm's mask, forcing the Grimm to fall.

Ren landed beside Jaune and caught his gun as it came back to him. Ruby and Nora came up behind their teammates with Emerald swooping back in.

Jaune immediately began to formulate a plan, "Okay, how do we do this?"

"His body is too thick to break through." Ren stated

"It doesn't care about its body."

Nora added another detail, "Plus it can keep grabbing new limbs!"

"But it keeps protecting its face."

"We can't break it!" Ruby chimed in her take.

"Ugh, if we knocked all of its limbs off at once and went for the..." Jaune's eyes lit up with an idea and he turned to face his team. Behind him, the Grimm was getting back up, "Guys, I got it! We hit it harder!"

Emerald looked at him confused, "I think you're still dizzy from that hit."

"No, seriously. It's trying to keep us from its face. If we kill the limbs, we'll have a shot to kill the whole thing!" Jaune explained his plan.

Ruby liked this plan already, "Alright! Come on, team, let's do this."

"Yeah!" Nora smiled.

Ren agreed with them, "Right!"

"Roger that." Emerald nodded.

Jaune started to lay his orders down, "Ren, left. Ruby, right. Emerald, behind."

Ren, Ruby and Emerald depart as told.

"Nora, ready to try out the new upgrade?"

Nora nodded and ran to her position.

Jaune smiled as he finished his plan, "Right. And I will—" Jaune started to speak to himself before he nearly avoided being flattened by the Grimm.

Ruby attacked the right side, slicing at the flaming tree, Ren attacked the left going for the stone arm, Emerald from behind popping shots at it's back. But they were all batted away.

Nora activated the mechanism that generated a current of electricity across the hammerhead of Magnhild. Jaune noticed this and realized what they needed to do, run around to make himself a target. Waving his hands in the air Jaune called the monster, "Hey, over here!"

The Grimm goes after Jaune but switches targets as Ren jumped into it's arm and shot at it's face. Then lept out of the way as Ruby came up close with her sniper rifle shots, ducking another swing as she shot again at it's back. As it laughed Ruby into the air, Emerald his behind a tree and shot her chains at it's arms. Holding the arms back, Emerald gritted her teeth as her well toned muscles held the creature back long enough.

Nora charged Magnhild even more and braced her feet for an epic strike, "Ready!"

"You wanna hurry it up?!" Emerald grunted as the tree she braced on was giving.

Ruby landed next to Jaune after another attack to deliver the ultimate blow.

"Use everything you've got!" Jaune yelled.

Ruby used her Semblance to fly at the Grimm, taking Nora with her, and the red and pink swirl was aiming right for the center of the rock body. Ruby sliced the tree in half, opening the way for Nora to hit the mask with Magnhild. The rock body shattered and the Geist Grimm rose out of it and flew away.

Ruby aimed a shot at it, and it turned its face right into the flaming projectile. The birds fluttering away from the area meant that the plan had worked.

Jaune was breathing heavily before posing with his hands on hips. Emerald came over too as she stretched out her arms, "See... I told you we could do this without him... we had everything under control." She finished as a tree made a noise falling over.

[Back at The Town]

Ruby shakes hands with the town's leader after they came back from their mission.

The village leader thanked them so much for their efforts, "We truly can't thank you enough."

"Just doing our job, sir." Ruby stated.

Mayor explained their previous mission again, "That Geist had been plaguing our village for weeks. We were beginning to wonder if we'd have to relocate."

"Well, we are on our way to Mistral. You could always come along with us if you don't feel safe." Ruby offered.

The idyllic life in the village is shown: people buy fresh produce from a cart, stand and chat on open balconies overlooking the roads. Some are tending to their horses and generally go about their daily lives peacefully. As Caboose comes through town with a sack full of food that Emerald told him to buy. The village has plentiful trees and green spaces and cobbled roads.

The leader was amused by her innocence, "Ha. I take it you're not from these parts. Anima is a large continent. I'm afraid our people would never survive the long trek to Mistral. It may be safer in the Kingdoms, but we prefer our way of life. I just wish we could pay you more."

"Our previous arrangement is more than sufficient." Ren stated as Team RNJR and Emerald bowed respectfully. Just in time as Caboose and the twins got back from their journey together.

The door to the blacksmith place opened and closed as a burly man with horns sets down a set of armor.

"There you go, son. It's going to be heavier than what you're used to, but you'll thank me the next time you go up against a set of claws." The Blacksmith said, proud of his work.

Jaune was left speechless, "Wow. That-eh. I don't know what to say."

"Don't gotta say anything! Just put it on! I'll go get the rest." The Faunus blacksmith turned and goes out back.

Militia pushed Jaune forward, "So, what are you waiting for?"

"Oh, uh, right!" Jaune took off his old chestplate, laying it next to the new one, "Guess I was going to grow out of it eventually."

"Growing is only natural." Melanie added.

"Right... natural." Jaune turned around, and Ruby and Caboose gasps, Ruby covers her mouth and tries not to giggle while Caboose stares in admiration, "What is it?"

"What is that?" Ruby asked pointing to his chest.

A bunny emblem is in the middle on Jaune's chest, "What, my hoodie? I've always had this."

"It's got a cute little bunny rabbit!" Ruby's snorts turn in fits of laughter laughs.

Jaune defended his hoodie, "It's Pumpkin Pete! You know, from the cereal?"

"What did you do?! Send in a box top for a prize?" Caboose asked as he remembered he tried to get that.

Jaune turned away, "Yeah! Fifty!"

Ruby continued to laugh hysterically as she fell to the floor while Caboose comforted Jaune with a hug, really hugging the bunny.

"Well, I suppose we don't have to grow out of everything." Pointed out.

Ruby chortled from the floor, feet in the air as the blacksmith returned from out back, "Can't have a Huntsman without his weapon." The large craftsman stuck a wide sword sheath into the countertop, "Made all the modifications you asked for." The blade expanded into a shield, "That was some fine metal you brought me. Accents the white nicely. Where'd you get it from?"

The gold accents on the shield, the design on the bottom reminiscent of Pyrrha Nikos' circlet, showing she was still with them.

Jaune smiled as he stared at the armor, "From a friend."

Ruby, Ren, Nora, Emerald, Caboose and the Malachite twins waited outside the shop. Jaune came out wearing the armor that he was given, he pulled out the sword and expanded the shield.

The Blacksmith appeared next to Jaune, "He cleans up alright, don't you think?"

"He certainly does." Ren agreed.

Nora had her notes, "I still think a grenade launcher would've really brought the look together."

"Nothing's gonna stop Team RNJR and team CEMM now!" Caboose cheered.

Nora corrected Caboose, "Team JNRR!"

"Still not a color." Ren retorted.

Jaune smiled as he brought everyone together, "It doesn't matter what we're called. As long as we're together."

"You kids sure you won't stick around? You've been real good to this town." The Blacksmith offered.

"Sorry, but we've got another mission." Ruby turned him down.

Nora joined in, "Make it to Haven Academy, no matter what."

"The next village over is said to have a working Airship." Emerald remembered the story she was told.

The Blacksmith stroked his chin, "Mmm, no way to know for sure. Scroll signals were weak enough out here back when Beacon Tower was still up. Haven't heard from Shion Village in a while."

"Only one way to find out." Caboose smiled as they began their journey.

With a wave, Team RNJR turned and left, The blacksmith waved back as he made a grunt.

Jaune went over the checklist, "Food?"

Caboose, who was eating a cookie he was offered answered him, "Check!"

"Water?"

"Check!" The twins spoke in unison.

"How about ammo?"

"Locked and loaded! Thank you, Church, you gun crazed maniac!"

"Got the map?"

"Ren's got it." Nora blamed Ren.

"No, I don't. You have it." Ren directed the blame back at Nora.

"Wait, what?"

"Guys, please tell me you're joking."

"Uh.. heh-heh-heh."

"Guys! Guys? Guys..."

"Nope."

[In Atlas at The Church residence.]

The reflection of The Director becomes visible as he continues watching airships fly by through a window. He is standing by a cushioned chair with his hands folded behind his back. There is then a knock on the door.

"Yes?" Director Leonard L Church answered as he continued to watch the sky.

The wide room revealed a large, open space on two levels. On the upper level are two arched bookcases built into the walls and a picture of a knight resembling the Arma Gigas hangs between them. A gilded mirror hangs above the mantle of a fireplace on the lower level. The door opens and Counselor Price, the most entrusted man he had met, "Pardon the interruption, Director, but your son wishes to speak to you. He has recovered treatment."

The Director smiled as he continued to stare out the window, "Thank you, Counselor."

He looked out the window once more before getting up and walking out. His boot steps slowly fading across the floor and the door slammed shut.

[Ending...for now]

I still have no clue how long so let's see if I can get another chapter out there. So let me review some comments from y'all.

Wolf said, "Dear Church you have entertained me and everyone else since reading chapter one of this story and I say to you enjoy the break from writing and when you feel like returning I'll be there to complement your return as will everyone else till whenever you return have a good evening and see you around."

Hearing this from you has made my day. I smiled when I saw this and I knew. I had a little bit left in my tank. I won't be gone forever. I will be back. It's just gonna take some time. Until then, take care, love each other and remember,

I'm only signing off...

...for now.
