Sorry been dividing my time on other projects as some of you may have noticed, thanks again if you follow me to check out the GATE Red vs Blue crossover. I appreciate it and love the reviews whenever I see them. It gives me a typing high so I can get more chapters out.

[The Pine Farm]

Oscar Pine sat on his bed in his room, reading a book by the light of a lantern. When his aunt yelled from another room for him, "Oscar, supper's almost ready!"

"What're we having?" Oscar asked.

"Doesn't matter! You're eating it!"

"I never agreed to these terms!"

"It's part of the 'living under my roof' contract! Read the fine print, then come wash up!"

Oscar closed his book and stood up to do as he was told to do. He is walking toward the door when a voice resounds, causing him to pause.

"We have to leave." The disembodied voice of Ozpin called out as Oscar continues forward, "Oscar. Oscar!" The young boy is about to grasp the door handle, but holds back.

"I've decided you're not real, so you might as well give up." Oscar answered the void in denial.

"I understand how you're feeling. I went through the same panic and confusion."

Oscar turned around and looked at an open book on the floor. He bends down to shut it, talking aloud as he puts it and the one next to it away on a shelf, "It's not real. It's not real. It's not real."

Oscar stands up and his reflection is visible in the window, "I can assure you, you are perfectly sane." Ozpin reassured him.

"I'm talking to a voice in my head."

"I didn't say you were normal. I said you were sane."

"Shut up! You think this is funny? It's not."

"We are in complete agreement on that matter, I promise you. Believe me, I wish this weren't the case. But as I've told you, our Aura, our souls are combined."

Oscar looked up at the ceiling without really focusing on anything but clearly showing his disgust, "I'm done listening to you."

"Have you ever been to Haven?"

"I told you I'm not going, and I told you I'm done listening."

"Do you think you could describe the Headmaster's office?"

"No. Why would I know that? I've never seen--"

"Try. Right now."

"It's probably... It's..."

His eyes widen and his face slackens. The visual image in his head continues in a circle as he continues to speak, "It's autumn-colored... with a large mahogany desk. There's a small table with chairs in a corner for guests, with a tea set that... I... I gave him. Why did I say that? Why did I know that? Why did I say that?"

Oscar becomes increasingly bothered and he starts backing up, dropping his hand.

"Because I helped build that school, and the tea set was a gift to the man running it now." Ozpin comforted Oscar as he sits on his bed and holds his head, groaning, "If you don't believe me, you can look it up. If I recall, your aunt has several books on Mistral downstairs. I'm certain you could find a picture in one of them."

Oscar straightened up and lowered his hands, "That... that's right, I must've seen it in a picture."

"Oscar..."

Oscar stands upright, tightening his fists at his sides and shouts, "Stop talking to me!"

"I have a grave responsibility to uphold. We both do."

Oscar fell to his knees, "I never agreed to anything."

"No, you didn't. And neither did I, at first. But you do have an opportunity."

"For what?"

"Greatness, hopefully. Greatness in knowing that, when the world needed help, you were the one to reach out your hand. It won't come without hardship, without sacrifice, but I know you don't want to live the rest of your life working as a farmhand in Mistral."

Oscar still had his hands on his head again, eyes wide, "So you just decided to read my thoughts?"

"I... well. They're our thoughts, now."

"Get out of my head!"

"Oscar! Supper time! I better see clean hands!"

Oscar looked toward the door, but remained silently on the floor.

[Church Residence: Underground Facility]

After the party fiasco Church threw himself back into his work on working on his new weapons. Something was just feeling off about wanting to modify the sub machine, especially such a timeless classic like the Thompson Submachine Gun. He mainly liked the handguns he had because he could fan the hammer quick enough where he could match the speed of some submachine guns. He also just loved the feel of them having a western gun like those along with the lever action rifle.

So it was no surprise he was attempting to get used to the Heavy Sniper Rifle that was once a Barrett 82 .50 caliber. Getting used to using a high powered semi-automatic weapon and upgrading from the lever action rifle chambered in .45 caliber was unusual. The kick back, the recoil, sights, and so forth were almost as though he was forced to reducate himself. But what made him feel more uncomfortable was the folding technology within.

The body was much larger and had a solid frame, which held two blades which connected together. One on top of the other that slid out to come together on top of the barrel. Pull the handle with the trigger back to where the stock was and Church could wield the weapon as a two handed sword. He could even still fire at a target in front of him, by squeezing the trigger on the enlarged handle which needed two hands. The blade started at the magazine rounds and ended at the top of the fat muzzle brake. The cutting edge was about four feet long with a two and half feet long hilt like handle.

It was here at the shooting range that Church was perfecting his shots to make sure nothing would go wrong. Here where the Director found him as he brought with him two long gun cases. and set them down next to his son.

"Hey Pop, what's this?" Church asked.

The Director held off opening them and instead followed up with a question, "Son... how fond are you of your mother's revolvers?"

"I would say they mean a lot to me... why?"

"Well I was hoping to trade for them back, please."

Church glanced at the weapons on his hips and weighed them in his hands, before bowing his head and handing them back to his Dad. They meant a lot but his Dad must have been missing them bad, after all he had a special place set for them. He even handed his old man the derringers that they both used at one point.

Smiling at his son being very mature, the Director opened up the cases to display a wide variety of handguns as a replacement, "I'm glad you could come around. Now anyone of these are guaranteed to make you feel good about your day."

Pulling a .357 revolver in chrome finish, he laid and gave a simple description, "Best of the bastards, .357 for guaranteed head removal." The M1911, an Atlas classic, "We got your standardized .45, super sized." Finally pulling out the too iconic and too used Desert Eagle .50 AE, "King of Mayhem, half cannon, sword of justice. Take it to the holy land, start your own crusade."

"C'mon Dad, you know what Church is about." Carolina referenced the poor display in front of her. She herself had a case, a wooden one with an old burned label, the star of their mother.

Slamming the wooden case in front of Church made the Director uneasy, for the case, "Careful damnit that case is older than both of you."

Flipping it open Carolina first pulled out a long old school .45 model, "This here is the Eagle Butt Peacemaker, solid ivory handles I had your emblem burned into the side so you'd say yes." Keeping one wrapped up in a nice little velvet fabric she revealed another gun made in single action, "This here is the customized Remington new model, Atlas army .44, probably more accurate than your old models. I took the liberty of replacing the wooden handles with solid silver." The last gun she brought out was a break action pistol she had modified with the help of his friends, "Finally we have the Smith Wesson .45, just your bare necessities. North and South Dakota think it's the best gun ever made. No trigger guard for quicker drawing time; don't wear it when you're drunk or you'll kill your toes."

Church admired each other ones Carolina brought out, what could be expected from a cowboy like him. Giving the grips a hold, the hammers a feel, spinning the cylinder and just playing and brandishing the weapons. With a smile Church chose the the silver handled .44 which he named Beowulf Bane and the old school .45 with his emblem, calling it Moonlit Walk.

Church turned to his sister with both guns in hands before holstering them, "Nice. They're perfection. Thank you sis."

"That's not all." Carolina tossed him a Vacuo AK-47, "When you absolutely positively have to waste every mother fucker in the room, except no substitute." The weapon had it's wooden stock removed, had an excellent fire rate but terrible accuracy. For those certain spray and pray moments Church would be destined to run into.

Church felt a little light despite the two handguns, lever action rifle and short assault rifle. He felt the need for more, "Ya know, I think I'm still a little light."

"Anything else I could use?"

"For you?"

"Well... in case I run into some people."

"Alright... but after this I'm gonna need a favor back. Deal?" Carolina raised her hand to meet Church's.

Church was about to take it but felt hesitant, instead he patted her shoulder, "Yeah... deal." With that Church made his way towards the armory with a few empty duffle bag in hand.

[Back in Anima]

Tyrian Callows pulls his tail back from the large sword and scythe that the Branwen man wielded. Qrow turned around, swinging his weapon and holding it at the ready by his side.

"As I live and breathe, Qrow Branwen. A true Huntsman has entered the fray!" Tyrian bowed mockingly.

Ruby gets up and sets Crescent Rose on its end as Qrow glances back at her. Ruby shrugged her shoulders to Qrow, "I don't know, this guy's weird."

Qrow faced Tyrian again, "Look, pal, I'm not sure who you are, but you need to leave my niece alone."

Tyrian chortles as he starts to explain, "Why, friend, my name is Tyrian. And I'm afraid that is not possible. My assignment from the highest Grace was to retrieve this young girl. So, that is what I must do. One does not upset the Lord."

"Lord?"

"Chrovos."

"Who?" Caboose cocked his head as he joined the others from his hiding place.

Tyrian smiled like a demon as he prepared for a fight, "Hmm, I think we've had enough talk now, don't you?"

"You took the words right out of—" Tyrian rushed Qrow before he can finish voicing the thought and the two begin fighting. Qrow blocks two strikes with Harbinger, then slashes at Tyrian who jumps trying to pierce Qrow as he lands. Qrow dodges then swings but Tyrian back-flips away and rushes back in. The two clash as Tyrian goes flying, he comes to a stop digging his weapons into the ground. He ducks to avoid a slash from Qrow then leaps aside to dodge a horizontal strike. He follows up with a slash, using the force to transition into a kick that Tyrian slides under, then the Faunus tries to strike his back but it is stopped. Tyrian attacks again as Qrow parries several thrusts of his tail. As Tyrian blocks a downward strike pinning him on his knees a roof gets damaged by the shock-wave and Tyrian uses The Divine Servants built in guns to get free. As Qrow blocks the shots with Harbinger Tyrian circles him firing a steady barrage, Ren and Nora join in, but Tyrian catches their sneak attack and dodges then easily knocks them away. He moves to chase them as the two land back near Jaune and Ruby, but Qrow intervenes to hold him back, "Don't come closer!"

The two men continue to fight while everyone stays off to the side prepared.

"Fine!" Ruby yelled as she takes Crescent Rose to the top of a building and waits for an opening to shoot Tyrian. However, both he and Qrow move too fast for her to get a clear shot making Ruby grimace in frustration.

Qrow blocks a jab from Tyrian's tail then counters, Tyrian parries before retaliating with a slash followed by a kick. Qrow ducks before swinging three times as the Faunus avoids them all, before using his tail as a spring to gain altitude as he opens fire again. Qrow blocks the attack then fires a shot of his own then dodges another thrust. Tyrian manages to use his tail to disarm Qrow flinging the sword away as he rubs his wrist. This slows things down enough for Ruby to repeatedly shoot at him from the roof, but after the first shot misses an amused Tyrian just deflects each following shot with his tail.

The shots awoken the cyborg from being passed out as he used his metal hand to get back up. Seeing the destruction and chaos happening he used the moment to get back into fighting form after snapping his arm back into place. Forcing himself to remain as silent as possible, using the gunshots to mask his presence he grabbed his knives and started to creep behind Caboose. Leaping into the air he believed he had the element of surprise, he did not as Donut threw several kunai knives at the man's chest. Donut was joined by Emerald and Tucker who by his side while the others stood ready to attack Tyrian.

Qrow curled his hand into a fist then switched to punching Tyrian in the face. He groaned in pain backing up before Qrow lands a few more hits. With a final kick, he manages to send Tyrian flying and casually moves to retrieve Harbinger from where it embedded in a wall. A frustrated Tyrian waits crouched until Qrow has his back turned before striking, but Qrow merely leaps on top of his own weapon and partially changes it to scythe mode. Using the gun barrels he propels himself to a roof top, Tyrian follows as their battle continues. They appear evenly matched until Qrow notices a damaged beam. He tricks Tyrian into landing on it and the Faunus descends into the building and uses his tail to drag Qrow down, too. As the two land, the remaining roof collapses inward.

They cyborg removed the knives from his chest and used his semblance's power to fight against the three. His semblance, berserker, allows him to enter a frenzy, numbing his mind to pain just focused on his task. Which makes him go sporadic and crazy in combat, completely unpredictable in a fight. Slashing with insane fury as he aimed for Tucker with his large sword. The awkward size was great for offense but made his defense slower. Tucker struggled to keep up while Donut and Emerald waited to jump in.

This is enough to make Ruby decide to no longer stay back. Staring at the dust cloud in concern she descends to street level. Just as she reaches the building, Qrow comes crashing out through a wall, his body bouncing. He tosses Harbinger which lands with its blade in the ground, and Qrow perches atop it. Red flickers of damaged Aura move over his body twice.

Tyrian comes out of the floating dust and grime inside the building, purple flickers moving across his body. As the two begin to strike again, Ruby jumps in between and deflects Tyrian's blades with Crescent Rose.

Jaune called out to his friend waiting to attack from the sidelines, "Ruby!" Ren holds Jaune back from moving forward.

"Do you wish to be taken?" Tyrian wondered with irritation.

Ruby looked at him with a new found determination, "No! But I won't stand by and watch someone get hurt!"

Both Qrow and Ruby move in to attack Tyrian who parries both weapons and the three clash. He kicks Qrow away then shoots and jabs at Ruby with his tail, she blocked and tried to counter but the blow is knocked aside. His eyes purple again, Tyrian closes in and almost gets her with his stinger, but Qrow blocks it.

Qrow glanced to the side to his niece, "Ruby! What did I say?! Get back!"

"This is my fight, too!" Ruby declared.

Tucker was knocked back as he used his wings to stabilize himself before falling back to stay on his feet. Donut and Emerald stepped in as Donut dropped under a swing and cut the man's legs making him fall down while Emerald delivered a charging headbutt to knock him down. But the berserker trait was still fresh in his system as he fought through it delivered his own head attack, knocking Emerald back. He pushed through and kept swiping at Donut who kept do summersaults and backflips to avoid getting hit.

Meanwhile Ruby attacked Tyrian while he's still locked blade-to-blade with Qrow, but his legs arch away from the swing of Crescent Rose.

"No, it's not that. It's—" Qrow tried to warn Ruby but it was too late.

Ruby attacks again, and Tyrian moves to her. He flips and sends her back with a two-footed kick. She slides closer to the building and gains her ground, but the wooden beams near the roof have been shaken up too much and a heavy one breaks and descends upon her. Qrow slices it in half so it falls in pieces to either side of Ruby without touching her.

Donut was knocked against the wall with two well aimed knife throw to his kunoichi outfit, pinning him to said wall. As the cyborg soldier went in for a devastating punch Tucker went to severe the metal arm. He was seen before he could connect as the killer caught his blade, breaking it in two. Using the piece he broke off, the cyborg tried to stab Tucker in the throat, but was blocked as Tucker had used the remaining piece of his sword to o block it. The battle of strengths met at a stalemate as everyone watched the other fight.

Ruby smiled at her uncle in gratitude and affection, and he raised his head from his stance to look at her. Soon only to gasp in pain as he is immediately cut in the abdomen by Tyrian's stinger.

Tyrian chuckles while everyone stays in shock. Caboose felt something he only felt one other time, the time he saw Emerald fight all those copies of that one guy. His rage seethed great in him as he started taking slow steps towards Tyrian.

Hearing the loud steps, the psychopath turned to see Caboose approach him slowly with his head down. Smiling just as wide, his eyes stayed purple as he prepared his stinger one more time. With a quick move his stinger stabbed Caboose in the left side of his chest off to the side where his heart would've been. After being satisfied with how much poison he pumped into Caboose he reeled his tail back to admire his work. Only his look of sadistic joy was replaced by confused horror.

The wound where Caboose got stabbed and injected with poison shot out blood mixed with poison in his system. More red and purple liquid came out in spurts but was soon turned red as his new armor had a red stain dripping out of it. Tyrian aimed for his head in a desperate attempt but his attack never connected as his tail was caught by Caboose. Trying to pull back again the assassin was yanked by his tail and slammed into the floor where Caboose kept him in his grasp.

With Caboose now stepping on part of his tail, Tyrian was starting to feel fear, "Now... I know what you're thinking... 'Should I rip off his tail?'" Caboose's eyes were filled with a dark blue gaze, with a fire in them as if they showed a new dark side, "...And the answer might surprise you-"

Tyrian's bargain didn't work as Caboose gave a one armed tug and ripped the tail in two letting the psycho squirm in pain. Everyone else looked in horror as Tucker was released so the one armed killer could look at his partner in crime. Tucker said same thought everyone was feeling, "I was not ready for today."

"I don't think... any of us were." Emerald agreed.

While Caboose was finishing up with Tyrian and letting the poor fool suffer a painful defeat the one armed cyborg went to for an attack. With Tucker's broken blade in his hand he went to cut Caboose's head off, or at least slit his throat. What he didn't count on was Caboose's reaction time as the big man avoided the blade touching his neck, but failed to dodge the blade entirely. Part of Caboose's face was scratched, the right cheek had a red line forming one drop of blood. His eyes still had a crazed berserk look in them as he reached forward to grab his would be killer by the shoulders.

Ripping the metal arm off it's owner, it was still in grasping position, perfect for what was about to happen next. Caboose used the arm and pushed through the cyborg's chest with his own metal arm. The severed hand gripped it's own master's heart while the man struggled to stay standing, or to stay alive. Heart out of his body, in his own hand he fell to the floor as a more blood poured out.

Tyrian takes a few awkward steps, not engaging, speaking to himself in an attempt to calm down, "Chrovos will forgive you." Turning tail to run away.

Caboose closed his eyes for a moment, but almost fell back as if he was knocked over by the wind. The big man turned around to his friends who took a step back, "Are you guys alrigh-" Trying to get closer they all backed up even more.

Caboose backed away as he saw the severed tail, and the man impaled by his own arm laid near his feet. The sight made him remember what exactly he did. Feeling terrified he stared at his own hands trembling.

"Hey Caboose... look at me... are you okay?" Emerald asked stepping forward.

"I...I... I'm s-" Caboose started to speak.

"Uncle Qrow! Are you okay?" Ruby rushed to her uncle's side.

Qrow struggled to lower himself down easily, "I'll be fine. He just grazed me."

He pulled his shaking hand away to show the blood on it. The other three arrive at his side.

"Who was that guy?" Asked Nora

"How did you get here?" Questioned the twins.

"Why are people after Ruby?" Interrogated Tucker.

Ruby was the only one to ask the right question, "Uncle Qrow? What's going on?"

Qrow breathing heavily, clutched his abdomen again before replying with another question, "What's your favorite fairy tale?"

[To be continued]

Okay so as some of you may have guessed, I was busy working on another story. The GATE Red Vs Blue Crossover.

Also let me clear some things up right now. First Thanks for the welcome back Wolf but I haven't actually left. I thought I would be so that's why I let you all know what was happening. I'll still be going somewhere it's just gonna take me longer than I thought.

And to the new reader, thanks for getting some many references.

Finally Church will not have a harem... so don't get any hopes up. He's just getting out of toxic relationship and genuine compassion makes him feel good. Also maybe Omega is alone maybe he's not. After all, if you recall The Director called him the second most dangerous one of them all. So that begs the question, who's the most dangerous?

Any who, thanks again for stopping by, I love y'all and I can't wait to have more moments to look forward to. Until next time, Churchisalive signing off for now.
