Summary: The story begins near the end of the Last Olympian. As Luke lays on the throne room dying surrounded by Grover, Annabeth, and Percy, Kronos uses whatever's left of his essence to create a time bomb powerful enough to destroy Mt Olympus. Percy realizes he has one chance to stop it and rushes in.

Chapter 1: A Hero's Sacrifice

Mt Olympus: Throne Room

Luke laid on the ground, bleeding profusely from his armpit as Grover and Annabeth surrounded him with tears falling out from their eyes. He looked up at Percy, the very same person who trusted him with Annabeth's blade in order to end this nightmare. He knew that despite this last bit of heroism that he had caused too much destruction for Elysium. With a single whisper he asked Percy "Please, don't let this happen again Percy. Don't let the gods forget about us."

Percy stared down at the man he once respected, the man who betrayed Camp Half-Blood, the man who blackmailed Silena in order to be his spy as he kept turning demigods against their parents, and the man who stabbed himself in the armpit, his own Achilles point, in order to stop Kronos. Percy nodded and promised, "I won't Luke. I swear on the Styx"

"OH DO NOT FRET CASTELLAN!" a voice boomed throughout the throne room startling the occupents as a massive flaming head appeared in the center of the throne room. Percy grabbed Riptide and slashed it only for it to pass through with no effect. "How are you still here Kronos?" he asked.

"JACKSON WILL NOT HAVE TO KEEP HIS WORD AS IN MERE MOMENTS MT OLYMPUS WILL BE REDUCED TO ASHES. I HAVE GATHERED WHATS LEFT OF MY LIFE FORCE AND CONVERTED IT INTO A TIME BOMB. SO FAREWELL CASTELLAN AND KNOW THAT YOU HAVE PLAYED YOUR PART WELL." Kronos states while laughing maniacally before turning into a large explosive device.

Out of ideas and almost out of energy, Percy looked around and remembered the Ophiotaurus he affectionately called Bessie. Without any hesitation, he threw Riptide at his aquarium, shattering it and setting it free. With no time left he turned to Annabeth with a teary smile and whispered " I love you Annabeth. Always have. Maybe in another life we could be together" leaving a shocked Annabeth to cry out as Percy lifted the water from the shattered aquarium and surrounded himself and the bomb in a watery sphere.

Maybe it was out of desperation, maybe he just wanted to do what was right, or maybe he wanted to save the woman he loved. Whatever the reason was, he grabbed the bomb and with one last effort, he ran as hard as he can towards a glass window with the bomb in hand and surrounded by the sphere which kept shrinking until it only contained him and the bomb, slamming into it as the glass broke, sending him and the bomb out of the throne room as they plummeted down to Earth. Closing his eyes he waited for death's grip to take him as the device exploded in his hands, knocking him unconscious as a bright light illuminated the sky blinding everyone in New York.

Outside the Throne Room.

A massive boom was heard outside of the Throne room. Every one of the Olympians and Hades could sense Kronos's essence disappearing but yet something felt off. Poseidon had a worried look on his face as he rushed to the Throne Room with Athena right behind him. "You think your son may be involved, don't you?" Athena asked not wanting to start another argument with her rival. Poseidon nodded as they reached the doors and pushed them open.

They all stared in shock as they studied the room. Some thrones appeared to have slash marks and a window was shattered. But what grabbed their attention was a certain blonde daughter of Athena crying her heart out with a satyr right next to her holding back his own tears while the son of Hermes lay dead. Poseidon looked around for Percy but only saw Hestia crying silently with Pandora's jar in hand. Athena ran to comfort her daughter while Hermes approached his son with a sad expression. Poseidon asked Hestia, "What happened sister? Where's my son?"Only for her to announce.

"We need two shrouds. One for the Son of Hermes, and another for the Son of Poseidon!"

Throne Room Hours Later

Percy's death had taken the life out of everyone. Tyson once hearing about it was balling for so long and no one could blame the poor Cyclops. Clarisse took off her helmet in honor of her fallen frenemy. Thalia was livid so much so she summoned lightning bolts and threw them out of the shattered window. Poseidon was left grieving as he blamed himself for not getting there earlier. Athena couldn't help but feel guilty over not giving Percy a chance as he proved her wrong and could only wish she could help her daughter pull through. Artemis was saddened at the loss of a man who in her opinion was the exception to the filth she had to deal with. Aphrodite was hurting not only for the loss of her daughter Silena but also for the loss of a relationship that she waited for quite some time. Oddly enough, Ares was quiet as he sat on his throne. The demigod that humiliated him was gone and yet he felt no joy whatsoever. However Nico and Hades were perplexed. Something felt off to them. Perseus's soul never made it to the Underworld. And was not in Tartarus. Hades may not rule over that dimension, but only he could send souls into the depths of Hell, and for that to happen, Charon would've announced that a vile soul had entered the Underworld for him to do so. If there was a possibility a human was sent to Tartarus without his judgment, the Furies wouldve brought the poor soul to him immediately. But oddly enough, the Furies didn't report anything.

Zeus had to call the meeting however and summoned the demigods who came to protect Mt Olympus. "I must first start this meeting by thanking three people here today. First, I would like to thank Hades for his assistance against Kronos." The God of the Underworld nods as he and his son seem to contemplate the mystery behind the missing soul of Percy.

Zeus then turned to Poseidon and continued " I also must thank Poseidon for his timely interference against Typhon which helped us immensely" Normally Poseidon would play with his brother's ego but he is too distraught.

Zeus then turned towards the demigods who were still reeling from the loss of their leader. "And finally I wish to thank each and every demigod from Camp Half-Blood as well as the Hunters of Artemis who came together and fended off Kronos's forces and prevented our annihilation. To honor those who have fallen, Hades has agreed to send them to Elysium directly." Zeus turned to Hades for confirmation, as did Artemis who was ticked that her father didn't let her announce her hunters going in, and again Hades nodded and yet he still seemed to be in deep thought.

Zeus began to reward certain heroes, amongst them were Clarisse, Annabeth, Tyson, Grover, and Thalia, all still hurt by Percy's death. Hades then unexpectedly called out to Nico. The dark teen walked towards his father and waited as his father asked " Have you sensed Perseus's spirit?" Shocking everyone in attendance. Annabeth watched as Nico shook his head and asnwered "No Father I have not. I sensed the souls of the fallen demigods and hunters entering the Underworld as they wait to be judged but Percy is not amongst them."

Chaos ensued. Poseidon, Annabeth, and Grover fainted as the possibility that Percy entered Tartarus was too much for them. Athena was raking her brain to figure out what has happened. Ares and Dionysus got into a shouting match. Hera tried to keep her husband from blowing things up. Apollo and Hermes were trying to hold back both Artemis and Aphrodite. It was all too much for Tyson as he breathed in and yelled out "QUIEEET!" The room boomed as everyone stared at the Cyclops who had been promoted as their General. Tyson then asked Hades " Lord Hades, what does that mean? Is he in Tartarus?" Poseidon and Annabeth had woken up from the shout and stared at Hades.

Hades shook his head, relieving the both of them, "No. Kronos's essence seems to have faded. And if a mortal soul had entered Tartarus without this council's approval, The Furies would've acted immediately. This begs the question. Where is he?" Hades asked before a rift opened up in the throne room.

"I believe I may have an answer" replied a tired voice as an old man stepped out of the rift with a giant clock attached to his back. Everyone studied the man in earnest. He was wearing a worn out suit and pants and had five different watches on each hand. Annabeth and Athena however noticed that the watches all were telling different times before gasping in shock as they reached the same conclusion, "You're the Primordial of Time Chronos!" they shouted in tandem.

"Correct my dears" he answered as he stumbled towards them, his disheveled hair flailing around. "When Kronos used his essence to create a bomb, he used up all the remaining power in it in order to send Mt Olympus back in time to a period where it would have never existed. Perseus however interfered and as he grabbed it, it appears that he may have accidentally turned a dial forward as he ran out of the room." Chronos explains as he created another rift showing the scenario in question.

As they watched the event happen in front of them, they saw Percy shattering the aquarium built for the Ophiotaurus and using its waters to create a sphere around him and the bomb. They watch as he shrank the sphere with every step he took as he hurled himself out of the window and watched as a rift is created from the bomb's explosion sending Percy through it. "Ah, Perseus. Very clever. The bomb was meant for the entirety of Olympus, and yet when you surrounded yourself and the bomb in the sphere, you limited its radius to only include yourself" Chronos smiled as he praised Percy's quick thinking.

Annabeth, relieved that Percy is alive, rushed to the Primordial and begged, "Please milord, please tell me you can bring him back." Chronos understood her desperate plea but shook his head. "I'm sorry dear but it's not that easy. Right now Percy is flying through space and time and unless I have something he used to carry I am unable to track him, let alone attempt to bring him here."

The news sent whatever hope they had crashing until Athena realized something. "Hold on. Anaklusmos was designed to return to its user. But I did not see it returning to him. Also he had thrown the sword essentially giving it up." She then stood up off of her throne and, reverting to human size, ran towards the place where the aquarium used to be only to find the Ophiotaurus staring at the blade in question. Athena grabbed the blade and handed it to Chronos. The Primordial closed his eyes as he ran his hands across the blade. Suddenly his eyes glowed as he projected an image in front of his audience. It showed a charred but alive Percy, topless, unconsciously sinking to the bottom of a lake as his body began to heal itself. Poseidon tried to reach out to him but to no avail. He tried to command the waters but nothing happened, much to the shock of everyone in the room. Chronos however realized why..

"It appears Perseus has traveled to a distant future, one where Gods might not exist. I can however sense a future counterpart of mine there and will try to contact him but it will take an entire year for the two of us to be able to bring him back safely. Also it appears that he will need some help in that universe as the monsters there are twice as dangerous. I would suggest that if anyone wishes to bless him do it now as this will be your only oppurtunity." Chronos dictated as he attempted to study the timeline Percy was in right now.

Without hesitation, Hestia arrived in front of Chronos and raised her hand "I bless Perseus with the fire of the hearth. May it aid him on his path, may it protect him, and may he use it to protect others." her hand burned as she said that, coincidentally a tattoo burns onto Percy's torso and right shoulder blade. Athena stepped up as well and raised her hand "I bless Perseus with an increased intelligence and knowledge of languages. May it aid him in understanding and helping the people around him," Athena stated as her hand glowed. Hermes stepped up and raised his hand as well "I bless Perseus with the gift of speed. May he use it to outrun his enemies." Hermes's hand glows as soles are placed at his feet.

Poseidon rushes forward and raises his Trident "I bless my son with the powers of the earthshaker. May his foes tremble in fear before him" He slams his Trident down as it glows. A tattoo burns itself onto Percy's left shoulder blade as well. "Alright then that's enough. As much as you wish for him to stay strong in that world, giving him too much power will draw in far much more attention." Chronos stated. Realizing how right the deity was, Artemis, Apollo, and Hephaestus backed off, saddest that they couldn't bless him

The Fates appeared as they declared "Everyone we are in telepathic contact with Perseus! We have explained that his friends have been rewarded and that you intend to grant him a wish. And he has responded that he would accept it only if the Olympians swore on the River Styx"

Zeus narrowed his eyes at the three sisters "Does he not trust us? Why would he ask that?" The response was quick "Perseus learned that no oath is sacred unless sworn on the Styx." Zeus sighed as he turned to his brothers and children who all nodded. "Very well then we swear on the Styx to grant Perseus's wish" A thunderous boom was heard outside Olympus as the oath was made

The Fates nodded as they stall for a moment before the three laughed in unison, scaring everyone in attendance as they stated "Perseus's wish has multiple requirements so bare with us" Clotho stepped forward and detailed "First Perseus asks that every half-blood child should be sent to Camp Halfblood to be claimed when they reach the age of thirteen. Second he requests that cabins should be built for the minor gods in order for them to claim their children"

"Now hold on a second, we cannot" Zeus tried to interrupt but Lachesis stopped him "Third he wishes that Hades and Hestia are to have cabins built in Camp Half-Blood. Fourth, peaceful Titans such as Calypso and Leto, are to be released immediately."

Ares attempted to interrupt but Atropos revealed the final two wishes "Fifth The Big Three Pact must be broken as it has caused nothing but suffering. And finally Luke Castellan must be regarded as a hero. It was his sacrifice that defeated Kronos. That is all".

Poseidon asked the Fates "I do not mean to offend him but he asks a lot." The Fates turned to him and responded "Perseus agrees, but he also believes that the right thing is never easy. He believes you all have the capacity for change but he wishes to make sure that change does happen otherwise he fears that Kronos might be able to use the same insecurities again." With that the three Fates disappeared. Athena had written down every part of Percy's wish and stated "What Jackson says is true. We have all lost too much in this fight in trying to prevent fate. And we have ignored our own children for far too long. I move that we accept this gift and follow through on all accounts" A vote was then held, with each Olympian, Hera and Area being the only ones who hesitated, voted alongside Athena as they granted the wish.

Chronos smiled as he stood up. "Very well then I must get going. It will be quite some time before we are able to bring Percy back but here" he handed Riptide back to Annabeth who held onto it for dear life. "You can use this to communicate with Perseus whenever you wish to do so." he said before creating a rift and stepping through.

Annabeth smiled as tears fell down from her eyes. She whispered to the blade"I love you, Seaweed Brain. Stay safe out there" before kissing it as she walked out of the throne room.

Unknown Lake

Time passed by for Percy since he heard Annabeth speak to him. He felt different somehow as his head started to clear and arms started to hurt. He didn't know how long he had been out but he knew it had been a significant amount and he wished to hurry up and get back home. Suddenly a violent gust hit him in the head. "OW! WHAT THE?!" Percy looked up and saw a maelstrom created above him with several people getting sucked in. Normally he would try to save them but something about those guys felt off. Even the shark headed guy. Looking up he thought he noticed a frog-like girl carrying a midget with purple balls while also carrying a green haired boy with her tongue as she jumped away from the maelstrom.

Curious, he followed them underwater noticing the green haired boy holding his right hand as his thumb and middle finger looked swollen. "Where am I?" Percy asked himself, "I can breathe underwater so that's nothing new but I can't feel dad's essence here. And I know for sure I'm not in New York anymore. Also why does that girl look a lot like an actual frog. Something doesn't add up here." As he asked himself these questions he noticed the group he was following stopped near the shore and stayed clear not wanting to cause trouble. What happened next shocked him to his core.

A man with wild turquoise hair and what appeared to be mannequin hands all over his face and body rushed towards them with a hand outstretched towards the frog girl. Her body shivering with terror as the hand stopped just inches in front of her face. Looking past the handy man he saw a massive purple being with a large beak and an exposed brain grabbing a black haired man by the head and twisted arm. The monstrosity lifted the man's head which had a glowing red eye directed towards the handy man and slammed it repeatedly to the ground knocking him out.

Percy glared at the two as he reached for his sword. Only to find it missing. "Damn I guess its the old fashioned way now." He then notices something off about his shoulders, burns on them both seemed to have been seared into the skin. Before he could contemplate this development, a massive gust of wind jarred him back as the green haired kid tried to land a solid punch against the handy man only for the purple freak to block it. "Percy, you have to save them. Right now" he psychesd himself up, "It doesn't matter where you are right now. It doesn't matter how you got here. Right now if you hesitate these kids will die. Now plant your feet, grit your teeth, AND MOVE!"

Summoning as much water as possible, he rocketed upwards until he broke the surface. Without stopping he grabbed the frog girl and the purple midget with one hand and grabbed the green haired teen in the other as he created a water humanoid giant looking down on the turquois haired man and irs creatonr

USJ Landslide Zone

Shoto Todorki ran towards the fountain area as he had gathered enough intel on why those thugs had attacked the USJ. He planned on warning the others when a massive water giant appeared in the shipwreck zone. Unfazed whatsoever, he pushed through, determined to put a stop to this madness today.

USJ Entrance

Ochaco Uraraka and Mina Ashido silently prayed for help as they tried to make sure Thirteen was alright. The back of her suit had been torn off violently from that warp villain who thankfully was thrown away before Iida got out. Suddenly the six-armed Mezo Shoji stood up pointing to the shipwreck zone. Everyone, including Hanta Sero and Rikido Sato, stared as a giant water creature popped up in the shipwreck zone. Shoji yelled in horror, "That thing has Midoriya, Tsuyu, and Mineta in there!" They were about to rush it but noticed they seemed unharmed. The heroes in training kept an eye at them as they checked back to Thirteen

USJ Ruins Zone

Katsuki Bakugo sneered as he and the red headed Ejiro Kirishima ran headfirst to the Central Plaza as they saw the warp villain being thrown there. They got closer only to find a massive water being looking down on the three main villains. Kirishima was about to yell out but Bakugo shut him up. Kirishimia looked back but was stunned when Bakugo pointed at the three classmates. Kirishima took another look and noticed that they're not in danger, rather they were saved. He then nods to Bakugo as they stealthily get closer.

Alright that's the end of the first Chapter of my new story The Time Traveling Hero Perseus. Now a summary of what powers Percy will have are as follows

Fire Manipulation (Hestia)

Water Manipulation (His own as a son of Poseidon)

Earth Manipulation (Poseidon allowing him to use more earth)

Wind Manipulation (Again his own as he actually can create hurricanes

Speed of Sound (Hermes. Not going to make him as fast as All Might honestly)

Curse of Achilles

Increased Intelligence and knowledge of languages (Athena)

Let me know what you think so far. I appreciate criticism as long as it's based. Also let me know if you want to see Percy being romantically involved in other females as well as Annabeth since I'm keeping that pairing. Also if you have been waiting for my other story I promise I will update it soon.

Next Time: Percy faces Shigaraki and Nomu. He still has quite a few powers he can use but he won't be able to win on his own. Luckily All Might is here.
