The Furious Wolf

Disclaimer: I do not own Halo or Fast and Furious in any way, shape or form. They belong to their respective owners.

Darth Revan1998: Thanks, man. Hope you like enjoy this one too.

Sleeping Moon: Thanks for pointing out the spelling mistakes from the last chapter, I went back and corrected them and hopefully make it a flow better than before.

Chadburger: Either the multiverse or maybe I'll have it where it plays out like the fracture event. The timeline that Six comes from is unaltered but because of his actions a new timeline is formed.

Hunter 139: As I said above, I'll probably make the Fast and Furious universe something like the Fracture Event.

Code Viper: It all depends on who exactly Six kills in this timeline unless I have it where they're in another universe.

Dr1zzy: I appreciate it! I wasn't too sure if this version would be as well received as the previous considering that Six is not as friendly in this version.

Darksblade: Thanks, my guy!

Guest: I think you're the only person that has brought that up, so kudos to you. And yes, Six and Dot were transported back just as Cortana awakened the Guardians, however they obviously don't know that. If someone from the future happens to turn up like Jun or a fellow Spartan-III then they'll be informed, but as for right now they're completely in the dark.

Shugokage: Glad you liked it and hopefully like this one too.

Umar Anuar: Thanks, and I'll update Demon of the Nine-Nine when I can :)

Azai Jin: You're welcome! Their relationship will grow in time, just as it will with Dom and the others, but right now he doesn't care about getting to know them. All he cares about is hunting down criminals and making them suffer, but eventually that will change when he starts spending time with other people again. And making Mia a Spartan-IV?

It's been hypothesized that Spartans have enhanced lifespans so it would allow them to share a long life together instead of Six watching the people he would grow to love slowly wither away while he would stay young and outlive them all...We'll see what happens in the future.

War Sage: It was pretty ballsy, but Mia wanted to spend some time with Jericho and get to know him a little better...even if she didn't quite get what she wanted. As for the cops showing up, I always presumed that either Brian or his superiors arranged it so that Brian could find a way to infiltrate the gang.

Brian got banned from the café for the same reason he did in the movie, flirting with Mia and fighting Vince.

It'll either be the multiverse or the fracture event, as in another timeline.

Chapter 6.

The headlights cut through the perpetual darkness as Noble Six drove down the back backroads and headed back to his home after the eventful evening following the race. But most importantly he was hoping to deal with the corrupt detective that had been supplying criminals across California with firearms and getting a handsome profit; tonight, all that ended.

It had been around twenty-five minutes since he had dropped off Mia back at her place and politely, or as graciously as he could, declined her offer about coming in for a beer. He had more important things to as Mia so finely put it "Cut loose and enjoy himself." such as dealing with Flass and every other criminal that got in his way. Furthermore, he never had a beer and had no plan too.

There was only one drink that he ever indulged himself in and that was Alt Burgundy, High-House Alt Burgundy 22 to be exact. An alcoholic beverage that had been brewed on Jericho VII before its destruction. Admittingly, it was more of an acquired taste due to the burning sensation as it ran down their throat making them cough. However, it was more than just a drink to him; it also had a deep connection to his past.

Not only was it one of the few things that had survived the destruction of his home world, but it had been his father's favourite drink. As a child growing up in Damask, he recalled the tar-like scent of his father's study as the scent amalgamated with the room; he also remembered the time when his father had let him have a sip when he was six years old...as long as he didn't tell his mother.

He quickly purged those thoughts from his mind, his features tightening as he washed the thoughts regarding his parents from his mind. They were dead and buried...well, dead and combusted would be more accurate. While it would be a lie if he said that he didn't still miss his parents, their deaths had been the sole motivation for him joining the Spartan-III program and continued to haunt him to that day, he couldn't afford to get distracted.

Shaking his head, Six concentrated on the road before slowing down and turned down a byroad and headed down route that led to his home. After another ten minutes of driving in silence, trees appeared on both sides of the road telling him that he was nearing his property as even in the dark he recognised the forest that circled his home protecting it from the elements and kept it hidden from prying eyes; the latter being the reason why he had brought it...

Well, technically Dot had brought it after she had decided that Los Angeles would be a good place for him to settle down. Personally, he had no problem living in the Prowler, it had everything he needed and all he had to do was make the occasional trip down to Earth to grab the essentials. Furthermore, he wouldn't have had to create an identity and really could have been a ghost.

Turning down the byroad, he followed it for another thirty seconds, he slowed down and went through the large metal gate that was already open, no doubt Dot had been tracking him and opened it for him and entered his property.

As he entered, he heard the gates behind him closing as he passed by his workshop that was located at the forefront and behind that was a massive plot of land that was regularly maintained that had a tennis court, a summer house, and at the back of the property hidden by the thicket was built-in round swimming pool, one that he had never used and had no plan too, it had been built by the previous owners that had extravagant tastes.

Following the path that led up to the large white house that had a rather unconventional design that greatly contrasted the houses you'd expect to find in Los Angeles, certainly not in an area as remote as that, he drove up to the front of the house and over towards the garage that was adjoined with the house as one of the three doors opened and he went inside. (1)

Driving through the middle door and parking between a black 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS with white racing stripes, and a matte black 1969 Pontiac GTO, Six got out of the Challenger and walked away from his collection of muscle cars that he had built with Dot and headed towards the back of the room that was just plain grey wall, bypassing the door at the side of the room that led into his house.

As he neared the back of the room however the wall shimmered as the active camouflage deactivated to reveal the elevator that was hidden from any prying eyes, not that he got them mind you but working for ONI for sixteen years would make anyone paranoid. Stepping through the metal doors, he didn't even need to press the keypad as the doors closed and the elevator went down.

Waiting a couple of minutes to reach the ground floor, the elevator stopped, and the doors opened allowing Six to walk through them and stepped out into the underground facility, his place that he considered his actual home rather than what was on display on the surface; after all it was the place where he pretty much spent all his time whenever he wasn't being Jericho Reach to keep up appearances.

The room was, along with the rest of the facility for that matter, was reinforced with thick titanium armour plating that was EMP-proof and durable enough to withstand a nuclear explosion if the event was ever to occur. Again, working for ONI had made him somewhat paranoid; but it never hurt to be cautious.

"Welcome home, Lieutenant." Auntie Dot's voice reverberated throughout the room as Six walked down the metal staircase, the vapor of the industrial air filters clouding his vision to the left, as he headed down to the ground floor. "I trust your drive was uneventful?" She asked, her tone playful.

"Hmmm." Six grunted reached the ground floor. Around the room were numerous computer mainframes more advanced than anything the CIA, MI6, KGB, and the countless Intelligence Agencies around the room had or would have for centuries.

A haze filled the room creating an ominous feeling in the cold dark room that greatly contrasted to the warm, homely ambiance of the house on the surface. Walking around the room, Six moved down the podium as a large seat, one that had been built to account for the weight of a fully armoured Spartan, and console lifted up in the middle of the platform. (2)

"What do we have?" Six questioned as he sat down in the chair and watched as the holographic projectors powered up as a large holographic screen and keyboard materialized before him. A light blue light filled the room making the Spartan turn to look at the holographic pedestal that was next to the console and watched as her avatar materialized.

Her avatar was of a young woman in her early twenties that had a black hair styled in a bob cut, wide smoky eyes, and delicate features. She was wearing a skin-tight black bodysuit that hugged her lean, feminine figure and had a blue and white glowing grid pattern, her previous avatar, running up and down it; and like most UNSC A.I's was glowing blue. (3)

"Everything you could possibly want to know about Arnold Flass." Dot replied as she waved her hand and brought up the dossier she had compiled on the corrupt detective for her partner. "With everything I have gathered all it would take is one call to Internal Affairs along with the evidence and they would have all the proof they need to strip of his badge and put him away."

"And risk tipping him off?"

"How did I know you were going to say that?" She sighed shaking her head not sure why she had expected anything else from him. "You do realize that instead of stalking Flass tonight you could have been enjoying yourself with Mia and the others."

"We've already had this conversation." Six commented dryly as he read the dossier that she had compiled for him. Flass was ex-military, United States Army Special Forces, alternatively known as A Green Berets, and from what he could see the man knew how to use his skills to always stay one step ahead of the authorities, and how to intimidate anyone that tried to expose him.

"Then you won't mind us having it again." She retorted folding her arms over her chest and levelling her partner a stern look. "Tonight, you were pretty much handed out the red carpet when Mia invited you inside for a drink and as quick as a flash you turned her down..."

"I have more..."

"Don't give me that, Six. I listened to your conversation with Mia, or lack of one, don't you think you came of a little standoffish? She was clearly trying to get to know you and all you did was grunt at her like a caveman."

"There was nothing to say."

"You could've at least made an effort, she certainly was." She chastised her partner with a disapproving glare. "And each and every time you just brushed her comments off, rudely I might add."

"Bit of an over exaggeration"

"Oh, is it?" Dot retorted before she brought up another file and played it for him, his conversation with Mia soon filled the room. "Does that sound like particularly friendly to you?"

"Sounds fine." The Spartan shrugged then returned to what he was doing previously.

"Fine, is not the word I would use to describe it." She stated, putting emphasis on the fine. "Mia went out of her way to speak to you, even got in the car when the cops arrived..."

"Which was stupid." Six muttered shaking his head. For all she knew he could've been sex offender and easily could have overpowered her and proceeded to rape in the car. Los Angeles was a dangerous place, especially for a young, attractive female that from the looks of things lacked the proper upper-body strength to fight off her attackers.

"Maybe a little bit." The A.I concurred. "But it does show that she wants to get to know you. You must have left a lasting impression on her."

"Unless she had an ulterior motive."

"Not everyone has a hidden agenda, Six." Dot pointed out to her paranoid Spartan. "Is it really so hard to believe that she just wanted to get to know you? After all, why do you think she went to all that effort when she could have just as easily left with Letica like I'm sure she was planning on doing in the first place until she saw you leaving and was worried that she might never see you again."

"Everyone has an agenda."

"Did Jorge?" He winced when she mentioned the fallen Spartan-II, the heart of Noble Team, the glue that seemed to hold everything together. But most importantly...his friend; no, Jorge had been more than that, they all had in the end. It was why it hurt so much more when he failed to save them.

"Don't bring Jorge into this." Six warned her, his voice turning colder all but telling her that she was on thin ice.

"Am I wrong?" She challenged and smirked already knowing that she had won.

"That was different."

"How so?" She grilled the Spartan-III. "You were not friends to begin with, yet towards the end you two pretty much became best friends. Who's to say that the same thing won't happen with Dom and the others?"

"Because they're not Spartans." Six told her sharply. "We have nothing in common."

"But isn't that a good thing?" She asked, and when he said nothing, she continued. "Nowhere does it say that you're only allowed to know people in the military. If you'd just spend a little time with Mia and the others and you might find that being human is not as terrible as you imagine."

"They're criminals."

"No-one is perfect." Dot shrugged her shoulders. "Besides, is it not generally accepted that opposites attract?" When he refused to comment Dot went on. "Furthermore, from what I've seen Mia has had no part in the hijackings that Dom and the others have committed." She added and waited for Six to respond only to see that like usual he was keeping his thoughts to himself. "Really, nothing to add?"

"No."

"You're impossible."

"I aim to please." Came his subconscious response only half listening to Dot as he focused on the dossier.

"Only you would take that as a compliment." She rolled her eyes. "You know, it's still not too late for you to head back to the Toretto's and go to that party. Spending time with people outside of the military would only be beneficial for you; Flass isn't going anywhere."

"Don't get distracted." Six said to her, scolding her like a father scolding his daughter.

"I'm not." She insisted, offended that he had even entertained the thought. "I'm trying to help you, you ignoramus. Isolating yourself away from the rest of society is not doing yourself any favours, not is staying her alone for the rest of your natural life."

"I'm not alone."

"I appreciate the sentiment, Lieutenant, but that's not what I meant." Dot said as she carefully considered her words before continuing. "We've been partner for a long time." She got a nod from the Spartan who had stopped working to look at her.

It had been seven years now since she had become his first official partner following the Fall of Reach, if she had been a regular Smart A.I she would have been decommissioned to prevent her from turning rampart and becoming a threat to either herself and everyone else; but after being upgraded with the latest software he had no idea how long it would be until she began showing of rampancy...if she ever did.

Dot was a unique case. She was once a Dumb A.I, meaning that she did not have any neural pathways of a human brain, meaning that unlike Smart A.I's she was not considered Trans-human just a sophisticated piece of technology. Did that mean that the rules of rampancy would affect her in the same way? He had no idea, there was only person that would have the answers he needed...and Doctor Halsey hadn't even been born yet...or back in his universe if his theory of the multiverse was correct.

While he would never admit it out loud, he was worried about one day losing her. He had lost just about everyone else in his life that he cared about, the only exceptions were Jun, Owen, Tom, Lucy, and Mendez, and he had been forbidden from contacting them after ONI had faked his death and listed him as M.I.A.

"I know that you still blame yourself for Reach," Dot's voice pulled him back to reality, blinking her saw her looking at him. "For what happened to Noble Team. Not being there for Beta Company, for not being there with Kurt and Gamma Company during the Onyx conflict, but none of that was your fault. "She insisted even if he refused to believe it. "

"..."

"And I just want you to be happy again."

"I am."

"You're miserable." Dot corrected him. "Angry, resentful, vengeful..."

"Definition of a Spartan-III."

"But you never used to be like that." She countered refusing to back down. "There was a time when you used care about your fellow human more than anyone I've ever met, it why you and Jorge got along so quickly in spite of only knowing each other for a few weeks, you were kindred spirits."

"Times change."

"Nowadays, you seem to relish in hunting them down and torturing them."

"They deserve to die." His tone turned colder, merciless to the extent that if anyone from his past were to hear him they would barely recognise him at all.

"And what if we kill the wrong person, hmmm?" Dot questioned inquisitively. "What happens if we kill the ancestor of Preston Cole, Jacob Keyes, Doctor Halsey, James Cutter, Terrance Hood, James Ackerson, Margaret Parangosky, the Master Chief, Kurt, Franklin Mendez....

"Baseless speculation." He waved her off. "We don't even know if we're in the past."

"We don't know that we're not either." Auntie Dot retorted. "We have got to be careful, Six. Who knows how many future generations we have killed off already..."

"You want me to sit here and do nothing?"

"Did those words come out of my mouth? Did you hear me say that?" Dot asked him. "No, you didn't. All I am trying to get through to that thick skull of yours is that the people that we're killing could greatly affect not only our future, but the rest of mankind's. We've got to be careful until we can find some compelling proof that this is not our universe..."

"We'll talk about this later." Six brought the discussion to a close, feeling a headache beginning to form as the two went back and forth. "I've got a job to do."

"In through one ear and out the other." Dot muttered as she watched as her partner walked away. She wondered if all Spartans were as stubborn as hers or if Six was a special case. Shaking her head, she disappeared from her pedestal.

After leaving the main room, Six walked down the dark grey halls of the facility and headed towards the armoury to get suited and booted. As he headed for the armoury, he thought about what Dot had said. There was a chance that she was right about them being in the past rather than some other alternate earth/timeline, they had no proof that had indicated otherwise.

Be that as it may, he couldn't just turn a blind eye and do nothing. It went against his nature, and after sixteen years of being a Spartan it hard to just abandon that mindset because of circumstances. Besides, the filth that plagued the city deserved to suffer. Criminals needed something to be afraid of. Something to fear. Someone had to make them afraid of the dark, afraid of what was lurking in the darkness.

They needed to know that their actions had consequences and unlike the justice system that often gave them a slap on the wrist like a scolding parent, they would get no mercy from him. They were scum, human filth that all deserved to die as painfully as possible. Personally, he didn't give a damn if the media condemned him. Everything he had done, everything he had ever done was to protect humanity.

They had no idea what was waiting for them, no idea what he had sacrificed to become the Spartan that he had been trained to be. Had no idea what he had lost and what he had given up and would do it all again in a heartbeat if it meant...taking a deep breath, he purged those thoughts from his mind as he reached the armoury and stepped through it.

The armoury like the rest of the facility was made from titanium and had a range of weapons on the walls that consisted of MA5D Assault Rifles, BR55 Battle Rifles, M395 Designated Marksmen Rifles, System 99-Series 7 Anti-material Sniper Rifles, M45 Tactical Shotguns, M319 Grenade Launchers, Hydra's, ARC-920 Railguns, M41 SPNKR's, M7S Submachine Gun, M6 Series Pistols, and M9 High-Explosive Dual-Purpose grenades.

Walking across the armoury, his footsteps echoing across the large room that was situated directly underneath the tennis court and headed over to where his tech suit was laying on the table next to the Brokkr Armour Assembler.

"I trust you located him?" Six as he threw his jacket off and removed his shirt revealing the many scars, stab wounds, plasma scarring, gunshots, and even bitemarks that he had across his chest and back from his previous engagements against the Covenant and Insurrectionists.

"I intercepted one of his calls and he is meeting one of his contacts at the Port." Her voice reverberated across the intercoms as Six took off his shoes and removed his trousers and boxers leaving him in his birthday suit before grabbing the tech-suit and placed it on.

"Noted." Six nodded as rolled his shoulders as the moisture-absorbing synthetic material adjusted and moulded to perfectly adapt to his muscular frame. Stepping over to the armour assembler and slipped his arms in between the sections of armour and grabbed the handles and placed his feet accordingly before the machine powered up and began connecting the armour pieces to the tech-suit.

Within a few seconds the titanium alloy was connected, and his helmet lowered down and connected to the rest of the Mark VII. The moment that it did a golden hexagon pattern covered him as his shield emitters activated and his Heads-Up Display powered up, followed by the motion tracker and the shield bar and vitals appeared as he climbed out of the armour assembler.

Overjoyed to be back in his armour, feeling naked and exposed without it, Six turned his attention to where his weapons were hanging up and walked over to them to select the weapons he would be using to deal with Flass and his cohorts. Grabbing a Battle Rifle and slinging it over his shoulder and connecting it to the magnetic plate on his back, he then grabbed an M6 pistol with a silencer attached, and finally grabbed his combat knife and placed it in sheath on his chest.

Satisfied that he had everything that he needed, Six turned around walked over to where another holographic pedestal was situated not too far from the lone Winter-Class Prowler, his base of operations before they had both been transported back to the late twentieth century, and watched as her avatar appeared at the top.

"Ready to get to work?"

"Always." Dot smiled up at him before she disappeared as he pulled out the data chip inserted it into the back of his helmet and pushed through his thick black hair and into his neural interface that was hidden beneath his mop of hair. He felt a chill run down his spine as Dot connected to the both the armour and his interface. "Good to be home...strange, less crowed than I remember."

Ignroing her quip, he walked over to the prowler, up the ramp and made his way up to the cockpit and climbed into the seat. Typing a few commands, he powered up the Prowler and closed the ramp as the doors on the far side of the room opened to reveal a large tunnel that ran under the house and led out to the lake at the back of his property.

Gripping the controls, he felt the prowler jolt as the fusion drives powered up and began to lift off the ground before he pulled away flying across the room and entered the tunnel that quickly became a blur as he picked up speed.

"Activating countermeasures...now." Dot's voice resonated through the Prowler as she activated the Active Camouflage generator as they reached the end of the tunnel with the stealth corvette cloaking shot out of the tunnel and flew across the making the water part underneath the prowler. Flying across the lake making the pool of water part, he circled around before pulling up on the controls and broke through the clouds and made his way San Francisco.

Ensuring that all the countermeasures were running accordingly, he soared high above the fields and flew across the country to deal with the corrupt detective that had been smuggling goods between San Francisco and Los Angeles hoping that no one would be able to trace it back to him, and he would have probably succeeded if Dot hadn't brought him to his attention.

What should've taken hours rather than mere minutes, the Prowler reached illustrious Golden City and flew over the Golden Gate Bridge that was shrouded with fog as was the rest of the city, giving the city a rather ominous feeling compared to Los Angeles. Flying across the city and making sure to stay high enough to not draw attention to themselves, after all while it was cloaked that didn't mean that the engines were silent, Six made his way towards the harbour.

Finally reaching it, he eased off on the controlled and brought the Prowler to a halt and hovered above the harbour to see a few lights bleeding through the fog informing him that it was still open.

"I think this is him now." Dot announced drawing the Spartans attention as a set of powerful headlights broke through the fog and headed deeper into the port. The fog made it impossible to confirm if it was the detective, regardless it didn't matter. It was time for him to get to work.

Extending his arm, Six transferred Dot from his armour to the Prowler to give her full control before silently getting up without so much as a word and exited the cockpit made his way through the cargo hold just as Dot lowered the ramp for him. Walking over to the edge, he looked down port below just as the lights went off.

Rolling his shoulders, Six stepped back into the cargo hold before he darted forward and took a running jump off the ramp and dived. Breaking through the clouds and heavy fog, the wind howled like an angry beast as he sliced through it and used his thrusters to slow his decent as he followed the trajectory to his target. As the docks grew closer, he cocked his fist back and shaped the energy shields around his fist before driving it forward as he hit the warehouse rooftop breaking it apart and making the metal buckle.

Falling through the rooftop, along with the shards of metal, Six grabbed his Battle Rifle from his back as fell to see that it was filled with guards that had been patrolling the second floor that overlooked the main floor where the workers had been in the midst of loading crates into the trucks that was parked inside of the warehouse; however the man that had his utmost attention was the blonde detective that was standing in the middle of the room whose eyes widened in fear as he looked up.

Good, he wanted them to be scared.

Aiming the battle rifle at the closest grunt, he opened fire taking them out before they had the chance to react then fired the grappleshot at one of the guards that grabbed them and pulled them towards him, which he then proceeded to use as a human battering ram as slammed him into the ground the moment he hit the ground, the sound of bones being crushed made everyone recoil as the man's chest was turned to mush.

"KILL HIM!" He heard the detective scream at the others knocking them from their stupor before all hell broke loose.

And cut! I think I shall leave it there for the time being. I've allowed you all to finally see Six's house and the underground facility that he has constructed underneath it, and next chapter you'll see the aftermath of the battle and Dom heading to his place either alone, with Brian, or maybe bring the others with him, we shall see.

1) I didn't do too good a job of describing it, but if you're trying to picture it then it's John Wicks house. Look it up on Google and you should be able to find a picture of the massive garden as well.

2) It's the A.I Calibration lab from the Academy mode in Infinite, however instead of where the A.I pedestal is that's where his computer is located.

3) Rather than just making her look Serina from Halo Wars like I've done in the past, I've decided to give Dot her own appearance that is unique to her. She looks like Quorra from Tron: Legacy.
