Cohen Home
Eden Harlowe frowned as she stood at the front door of the extravagant cabin.
She knocked on the door carefully, trying not to cause too much alarm before it was warranted.
Her nostrils flared repeatedly as she took in the exceptionally delicious scent that wafted from the familiar, Ford pick up truck. It nagged at her mind, telling her she knew who owned it.
The scent of an unknown vampire could also be detected and it made her hackles rise.
Beside her, Jane was silently panicking.
Victoria had been here, but had left. She knew Raven was still here, judging by her truck parked in the driveway. She feared that the creatures occupying this cabin had captured the young human and were doing unspeakable things to her.
Raven's scent was quite unique, it smelled so decadent that none who smelled it could forget it.
Eden had been begging her to see the human, but she hadn't expected her to be apart of their mission.
"That is Raven's truck. She is definitely in this house," Jane began, her tone stern. "I expect you keep yourself together and be professional, no matter what we find in here. If I have to use my gift on you, I will. Okay?"
Eden stopped breathing as realization hit her. She didn't know what to expect behind this door. If these Succubi had harmed her best friend...
"Those cunts."
Squaring her shoulders, she knocked harder, nearly bringing the door down.
Jane sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose.
When the door finally opened, revealing who they assumed to be the matriach, they stared her down. The woman saw their crimson eyes and her heart rate increased.
Eden growled quietly, smelling Raven's remarkable scent all over her.
"H-How may I help you both? I'm in the middle of dinner," Adaira stammered, unnerved by their intense stare.
"Are you Adaira Cohen? Mother of Billie Cohen and ranking member of the Succubus Clan Durrandon of the Pacific Northwest," Eden asked, her tone regal.
The woman nodded slowly, her brow furrowed as she asked herself who these vampires were and how they knew all of this information.
The sound of Raven whimpering from the basement rang in the vampires' ears, causing them to stiffen.
"By the order of The Volturi and by request of the ruling clan, Clan LaVeau, you and your daughter are hereby under arrest for reckless hunting activities and evading punishment.
You both need to come with us and confess your crimes to the ruling clan, or, as representatives of the Volturi, we will take matters into our own hands," Eden continued, glaring at the woman darkly.
Adaira answered with a defiant grin as Billie rounded the corner. Both of their eyes inked over into darkness as they crouched.
The two vampires crouched as well, readying for a fight. However, they could already feel both women's pheramones clouding their brains in an attempt to distract them. They stopped breathing, thinking that would help, but it was too late.
Their eyes clouded over. Whatever will they had to fight the succubi vanished.
"Weaklings," Adaira laughed, standing from her crouch. These vampires obviously underestimated their combined power.
Billie smirked, thumping Jane's nose and getting no reaction. "That was too easy. I'll go get a lighter."
The older woman stopped her.
"Wait! Do you hear that?"
"Hear what?"
"Listen," she hissed, her breathing stopping.
Their jovial expressions faded as they faintly heard what sounded like a stampede in the forest. Their blood ran cold as they thought back to what Raven said about her coven of vampires.
Adaira shook her head in disbelief as it got louder. There was no way they were coming already. How would they even know to come here?
Two vampires, they could handle, but not a coven. It would be a massacre.
Adaira opened her mouth to tell Billie to get in her car and run, but it was too late.
What looked like an army of angry, golden eyed vampires burst through the treeline at full speed. They descended upon them with single-minded focus that mirrored that of hardened soldiers.
In the vanguard was Victoria, her eyes the color of the midnight sky.
As Adaira was tackled through the door of her home by the furious redhead, she regretted all of the decisions that brought her to this point.
In the basement, Raven couldn't move.
Her arms and legs were bound. Fabric covered her eyes so she couldn't see. She tried to wrench herself free, but she felt weak after being under Adaira and Billie's influence. She realized the women must have fed from her.
"Raven? Are you okay," Wyatt said quietly as he crept down the stairs. He gasped when he saw her tied to a post. At least she was still alive.
"Wyatt! Can you please let me out of here," she pleaded to the darkness.
She could feel him inching closer. The heat of his body warmed her skin, he was so close.
Long, skinny fingers caressed her cheek and trailed upward to remove the blindfold.
It was wrong, he thought as her eyes were revealed to him. It was wrong how beautiful she was.
"Somebody is at the door. I think it might be a vampire," Wyatt muttered with tears forming in his eyes.
Raven blinked rapidly as her eyes adjusted to the dim light. "Let me go then. I don't want your family to die! Untie me-"
"Shut up," he yelled, becoming enraged. She flinched, having never seen this side of him.
"This is your fault. If you would have chosen me, none of this would be happening. Because of you, my family is going to die."
Raven's eyes widened as she recognized the look in his eyes. It was one she'd seen in the man she thought was her father. It was a crazed look that held no sign of empathy or compassion.
It promised pain.
"Wait, Wyatt! Please don-"
Her words were cut short as his large hand wrapped around her neck, the other caressing down her body. Her wide eyes watered when he squeezed her throat.
"I liked you. I really liked you. But you wanted Billie. Even though you were mated. Even though she wanted to kill you," he said angrily, strangling her. "Why didn't you want me? I could have saved you. I could have loved you better than both of them."
His thin, chapped lips pressed hard against her's, making her skin crawl.
Raven struggled against him as best she could in her bondage, but she was just so tired. She willed her shield to push him away from her but she didn't have enough energy for that either. She thought about headbutting him and biting him, but she was tied up. That would only make him angrier.
Besides the prominent disgust that boiled inside her as he kissed her, there was something else nagging at her. It wasn't hard to recognize the feeling, as she experienced every day for the past few months. She could feel lust emanating from him. It intensified as he tried to pry her mouth open with his tongue.
How she knew this, she wasn't sure, but she knew the lust was not her own. It was like an aura hanging around him.
His lust caused an ache to throb somewhere deep in her soul. It intensified until her nails were digging into the post behind her. She started to struggle harder now as she became more afraid.
Not of him, but herself.
Finally, Raven understood what the sadistic succubi meant. This was beyond hunger. It felt dangerous, inhuman how much she needed...something.
She fought against it, intuitively understanding that the boy wouldn't be able to withstand whatever she wanted to do to him.
Even as he touched her body without consent, she still didn't want to hurt him.
"Please, stop," Raven begged.
"I know you want this," he said, almost as if trying to convince himself. "I know you want me."
Her mind reeled as his hands crept beneath her shirt, tugging at her bra. Tears welled in her eyes as his hands palmed her breasts. Victoria's face was all she could see. She called her name over and over again in her mind like a prayer, hoping she would appear.
"Why are you crying," Wyatt hissed. "You're a succubus. You're supposed to want this."
Raven sneered. "Not with you!"
He pulled away in frustration, tears trailing down his angry face.
He slapped her hard, making her cry out. He punched her in the stomach for good measure, reveling in the grunt of pain she emitted.
"They said you were like them, but you're not. You're weak. You're useless," Wyatt ground out, before kissing her roughly again. His hands grasped at her body. "I deserve this. I deserve to touch you like this. Not Victoria. Not Billie."
Raven stopped struggling against him as memories long buried came flooding back.
Images of her father telling her the same thing as he did unspeakable things to her. Visions of her mother looking on and doing nothing to help her. The rage she felt inside as a child, not being strong enough to fight back.
But she wasn't weak anymore.
Her father was wrong.
Wyatt was wrong.
The ache inside roared to life as she became enraged. Now, she wanted to hurt him. Now, she wanted to use him to sate the growing need inside her.
When Raven began to kiss him back angrily, he gasped into her mouth, shocked by amazing it felt. His body trembled as pleasure lit him aflame.
Electricity ignited in his veins so powerful that his legs buckled and he moaned wantonly. He could feel her draining his chi like a black hole ripping apart everything in it's path. The pleasure of it was undeniable, but it soon turned into agonizing pain. He tried to pull away, and she let him, but for some reason he could not run.
Once hazel eyes were now ebony with no white in sight. "Mmm, so that's what it's like," she moaned against his lips.
"Wait! I'm sorry! Please don't do this," he pleaded, realizing he'd made a horrible mistake.
Wyatt cried out in terrror as she broke free of her restraints to grab his face roughly, unintentionally fracturing his jaw with her strength. The scream he released was earpiercing.
She couldn't let him go now.
Not now that she needed him.
This was what he wanted, right? He wanted to be desired and now he was. He was all she could think about. He was the most important aspect of her reality. She only had eyes for him and his lust that would sate her aching hunger.
Wyatt sobbed in her grasp, tears and snot running down his face as he incoherently apologized and begged for mercy.
"Oh? Are you scared," Raven whispered, her tone innocent. "Don't you like me now? Don't you want to touch me again?"
He tried to scream for help, but her hand muffled his screams. Her eyes fluttered with pleasure as his chi slowly seeped into her from where their skin connected. The feeling was nothing short of euphoric, but she needed more.
She had a monster inside her that demanded to be fed, and now that she'd tasted him there was no turning back. His chi was like a drug in her veins and she would have it all.
"You're all mine now," she purred, her mind completely taken over by something predatory. "Just like you always wanted."
Raven could see the terror in his eyes as her breath wafted across his lips, but her mind was being taken over by the monster within. Any rational thought in her mind was overshadowed by the need to feed it.
Wyatt knew what was about to happen as she descended upon him. He knew his fate. He witnessed his mother and sister do this to plenty of people. A few of which he helped capture.
She bit her lip as she fought with herself, but the battle was already lost. She realized then that she'd been fighting this primal need for too long.
"I'm sorry...I'm just so fucking hungry."
Raven smashed her lips to his and moaned deeply. She could feel his fear, his lust, his chi, feeding her in a way she had yet to experience before.
Every nerve thrummed and vibrated as she drained him, making her body hum with energy. She could feel all of her senses expanding. She could feel her body gaining strength.
Nothing compared to this feeling. It was a never-ending climax that she didn't want to end.
The sound of the basement door slamming open reached her ears, but she ignored it. She was unable to pry herself away from her prey as she administered the kiss of death. The thought of someone stopping her made her hands grip his neck hard, threatening to break his spine.
"Raven! No!"
The world around her spun as she was tackled to the ground by two cold, hard bodies. Her head swam for a moment, and then she began to struggle against her attackers.
Rage overcame any rational thought as she screamed. "Give him back to me! He's mine," she snarled at her assailants, black eyes unseeing.
Although Alice had given them all a short briefing on what to expect, Victoria and Irina were taken aback by the changes in her. Her eyes could only be described as demonic, and her newfound strength took them off guard. They could both hold her down easily, but one of them would have had some trouble.
"Please calm down. I'm here. I'm here with you," Victoria spoke as soothingly as she could. She looked at Irina in distress, unsure what to do.
"Don't worry, she just needs to feed. This is her first time, isn't it," Irina asked, looking at her sadly.
"I think so."
The blonde grimaced. "The worst thing you can do is interrupt the feeding process."
"I need more," Raven demanded, groaning in frustration as her body ached terribly.
"Let me go!"
Irina shushed her. "I know, maličký. Soon, you can feed all you want. Once we get you home, Victoria will help you. We will help you."
The Denali Coven and the Cullens could barely recognize Raven as she fought against the two women to get to Wyatt. They had been skeptical of Alice's vision but now there was no question. She was certainly not human.
Venom tears welled in the eyes of the three Denali women. If only they had known, they could have helped her through her awakening and prevented the harm done to the human boy who lie unconscious as Carlisle tended to him.
Eden and Jane watched the scene with heavy hearts. They were very thankful for the arrival of both covens and that Raven was safe, but they felt like they were intruding on a sensitive moment.
They left with their two captives, deciding now wasn't the time for Eden to reunite with her best friend. She was obviously going through a life changing event.
Suddenly, Raven inhaled deeply.
As the familiar scent of chai tea and honey finally registered to her senses, the anger within Raven began to dissipate until she was no longer fighting them.
Onyx orbs locked onto Victoria as if she were the only one in the room, and the redhead smiled.
"You're back...," she muttered breathily.
A cold hand caressed her cheek and she leaned into it. "You're safe, love. Everything is going to be okay," Victoria murmured, kissing her forehead gently.
The contact caused the teen to shiver. She looked at the vampire longingly, in awe by her beauty. Her eyes felt new now. It was like she'd never truly seen the vampire before.
"Why do you smell so fucking good," Raven groaned in disbelief, inhaling deeply. The scent was intoxicating and so much stronger than it was before.
"What's happening? It hurts."
Victoria frowned, hugging her close. "It's alright, my love. Soon, the sisters will help us both understand what's going on and we will help the pain go away."
Raven breathed out shakily, feeling the love and underlying lust within Victoria. It was like a sixth sense to her now.
A sharp pang of hunger struck her again and she fisted the vampire's shirt to pull her closer, placing her face in her pale neck as she fought the urge to take her right there.
Their bond only seemed to be making it worse. All she wanted was to feel every inch of that pale skin against her own and feed from her until the ache was gone.
When the smell of the teen's pheramones filled the room and Victoria growled, the Denali sisters knew it was time to go.
"Carlisle, we are leaving before Raven loses it again," Tanya said, her tone urgent.
He nodded. "Of course. We will take the boy with us. He's in pretty bad shape."
"Is there any way we can take her to your Forks home? She is in a very volatile state and that house is the closest."
Esme nodded, feeling helpless to comfort the girl she considered a daughter. "Of course, Tanya. Anything you need."
Alice placed a hand on her mother's shoulder and squeezed. "Everything is going to be alright."
Rosalie watched with venom tears her eyes as the Denali Coven shot off into the trees with Raven. What she'd seen worried her.
She hoped Alice was right and that her little sister would come back to herself soon.
