Note: I'm back, guys, with a new chapter. I hope that you're ready for this, because Katt's about to fight again. Before we move on, I want to say something to three reviewers.

Big Bossk Man 92: To be honest, I intended for Katt taking a sample of Krystal's blood and injecting it into herself to gain telepathy to be a symbolic reference to how certain athletes take drugs to improve their performance and fitness without working out or training. I tried to not be too on the nose with the symbolism. Either way, yeah, no one will be happy to learn the truth. I hope that you're ready for this chapter.

The White Wolf named Alex: Katt won, alright, just not in an honest way. With the telepathy she gained, she's just lucky to not be terribly injured. I hope that you like this chapter.

King Tutenfoxenkhamen III: Well, even if Fox does understand why Katt has become a boxer, he still wouldn't be pleased to know that she took a sample of Krystal's blood. By giving herself telepathy, Katt is essentially cheating. As for Katt's opponents, they might throw an occasional taunt every now and then. After all, what boxer doesn't? Thanks for the review.

Now that I've done that, it's time for chapter six.

Chapter 6: Janet Lee

On Monday, Katt was just walking down the street, getting some exercise. While doing so, she was greeted by people who were out in Corneria City. A majority of those the pink cat encountered asked for an autograph, to which she obliged. From what the feline could tell, it felt like she spent more time signing autographs than going on her walk. While she was glad to sign her name for anyone who asked for it, she was hoping to be alone with her thoughts for a while. After all, Katt found it hard to exercise whenever she got distracted.

As she continued to walk down the street, a thought crossed Katt's mind. The thought was on how the telepathy she had gained from Krystal's blood helped her out during her fight with Teagan Blunstone. It made the pink cat conflicted. While she was glad that her newfound telepathy kept her from getting put in the hospital, the feline felt bad about using a syringe to steal some blood from her friend. Not only that, but she knew that she would be in trouble if anyone found out what she had done to her body, let alone Krystal. Katt assured herself that no one would find out, but only if no one noticed that she was a telepath now.

After a few more minutes of walking, Katt saw Fay, Miyu and Lucy sitting at a table. From what she could tell, the three were at a restaurant with outside seating. They weren't eating anything, meaning that they were waiting on their food. Seeing as she was getting closer to them, Katt practically ran to her friends.

"Hey guys!" Katt shouted.

Upon hearing that voice, Fay, Miyu and Lucy turned their heads. After that, they saw that Katt was running towards the restaurant, her eyes focused on them. The pink cat was wearing a white t-shirt and gray gym shorts. She even had sweat on her forehead, meaning that she was working out. Fay smiled at the feline, giving her a friendly look. As for Miyu and Lucy, they were surprised to see Katt out in this part of Corneria.

"Hi, Katt, how are you?" Fay greeted.

"Oh, I'm just getting some exercise for the day, hon!" Katt said. "After all, I have to stay in shape for my next fight!"

"Your next fight?" Lucy asked.

"Yeah, I'm a boxer now!" The pink cat said. "Didn't you guys hear about the match that took place over the weekend?"

"Sorry, Katt, I was busy over on Fichina!" The hare stated.

"And I was speaking to General Pepper at the time." Miyu said.

"What about Fay?" Katt asked.

"I was with Bill." Fay said.

"Gee, I didn't know that you guys were busy." The feline said. "I hope that you'll be able to come to my next fight."

"If we get a chance to, we will." Lucy said.

Someone came out of the restaurant, taking her seat at a nearby table. This person was a weasel with hazel eyes. She was wearing a blue jacket, a black, white and brown striped shirt, leggings, socks and tennis shoes. She also had noticeable muscle, with somewhat large biceps. By her appearance alone, Katt could tell that she was another member of the boxing gym. However, she had not seen the weasel before.

"Who's that?" Katt couldn't help but ask.

"The weasel?" Miyu spoke. "That's Janet Lee! She's been a boxer for the past few years!"

"Janet Lee, huh?" The pink cat asked.

"Haven't you run into her at the gym?" Lucy asked.

"I haven't," the feline said, "but I think I heard a few others talking about her."

"Maybe you should go talk to her." Fay said. "After all, boxers should get to know each other."

Katt then went over to the table Janet Lee was sitting at. Once she was there, the pink cat found herself looking Janet in the eyes. The weasel had a quizzical expression on her face, as if someone had told her something odd. She had never seen Katt before. The feeling was mutual for the feline, having only heard about the mustelid from her fellow gym members. She spoke up, hoping to have a friendly conversation.

"Are you Janet Lee?" Katt asked.

"Yeah, what's it to you?" Janet responded.

"I'm Katt Monroe." The pink cat introduced herself. "I'm a new member of the boxing gym and I won my first fight over the weekend."

"A rookie, eh?" The weasel asked.

"Yeah, and I'm happy to meet another boxer." The feline said. "Shake on it?"

Katt held out her hand, signaling that she wanted to shake hands. Janet did not shake her hand. Rather, the weasel let out a chuckle, as if she had heard a joke. In response, Katt frowned, dropping her hand. The pink cat felt mad, feeling offended. She just wanted to get on friendly terms with Janet, but it was clear that wasn't going to happen.

"Shake hands?" Janet snorted. "With you? Please, like I would ever shake hands with an amateur like you!"

"Hey, I just wanted to be friendly!" Katt said.

"Well, I'm not going to be friends with someone who isn't even on the fighting circuit!" The weasel said. "I won the boxing tournaments on Fortuna and Titania, and placed runner up on the tournament in Papetoon, so you'll have to do better than offering to shake hands!"

"Maybe I could take you on?" The pink cat suggested.

"You want to take me on?" The mustelid said. "Well, you're going to need better health insurance, because, when I'm done with you, you'll be in the hospital for a while! Run along, I'll think about it!"

With that in mind, Katt walked away from Janet's table, deciding to walk back home. Once she got there, the pink cat proceeded to test the speed of her punches. When she got done, she could tell that her uppercut was the fastest punch she could use. After that, the feline had dinner in the evening, wanting some extra vitamins and minerals in her system. Before going to bed, she took a shower and practiced on a punching bag. The moment she was done, Katt could feel that her hands were sore, but she chose not to complain.

On Tuesday, Katt received a call. Picking up the phone, the pink cat saw that the caller was Steve. Answering it, she spoke with him.

"Hello, Steve, I was just getting ready to do some exercises." Katt spoke.

"Well, you shouldn't exercise too much, or you'll hurt yourself." Steve's voice came out of the line. "Anyway, you've got a fight coming up this weekend."

"Oh, really?" The pink cat responded. "With who?"

"She's someone who's won two tournaments and placed as runner up in a third one." The wolf's voice stated.

Upon hearing that, Katt had a feeling she knew who Steve was talking about. The fact that her next opponent won two tournaments and got second place in a third one was enough of a hint. The pink cat was hoping to face off against her, given how rude she acted the other day. She responded to Steve, giving her guess.

"Janet Lee is my next opponent, am I right?" Katt asked.

"Yeah," Steve's voice responded, "but there's something I should warn you about: Janet's Quick Jab. It's something of her signature, and it's how she won the first two tournaments. If you aren't careful, you'll get taken down by it!"

"Don't worry, hon, I'll be on guard for it!" The pink cat stated. "I'll see you on the weekend!"

After hanging up the phone, Katt went to train for the upcoming match. Walking down to the gym, she went to a punching bag and practiced on it. The pink cat decided to give it her all. For the next half-an-hour, she used every punch she could, from jabs to hooks. The feline was eager to test the speed and strength of each attack, to the point where she nearly knocked the punching bag off of its chain. Katt was careful enough to stop, not wanting to destroy the equipment.

Throughout the rest of the week, Katt and Janet trained for the upcoming match. They were both at the gym, so they ran into each other every so often. On each day, both of them were prone to testing their strength and speed on punching bags. When they weren't pounding on the punching bags, the pink cat and the weasel were at workout machines, testing their limits. By the end of each day, they went home to cool down so that they didn't end up sore. Nonetheless, Katt and Janet were prepared to face each other on the weekend.

On Saturday, Katt had gotten The Cat's Paw back. The mechanic who was working on it apologized for taking so long, claiming that it took weeks for him to get the right equipment to help him work on the ship. Katt didn't mind, as she was happy to have her ship back. The pink cat flew down to the boxing gym, parking on the roof of a nearby building. As she didn't have much time before the match began, the feline entered the building and took the elevator down to the first floor. Once she got there, Katt ran out of the building, running into the gym.

Now that she was inside, Katt went down the hallway, intent on meeting up with Steve. It was only a few minutes before the match began, so she knew she had to be quick. The pink cat didn't run, however, as she was worried about bumping into someone. She did walk rather quickly, just not fast enough to run.

The moment she entered the arena, Katt went to enter the ring. Once she got in it, she saw Janet Lee standing on the other side. The weasel was wearing a gray and black outfit, complete with sneakers. Upon seeing her opponent, Katt smiled. The pink cat didn't see Janet smile. Rather, she saw the mustelid approach her, coming up to the Referee.

"Ladies and gentlemen," the Announcer spoke, "welcome to the match of the weekend! Like the previous weekend, the newcomer, Katt Monroe is in the left corner! And in the right corner, we welcome the winner of two tournaments and runner-up to a third tournament, Janet Lee! Don't let her appearance fool you, as she is one of the faster boxers in the Lylat System! She has even been nicknamed 'Speedster' due to her Quick Cross attack!"

"Ready to get crushed?" Janet asked.

"No, but I'm here to beat you!" Katt said.

Bumping their gloves, Katt and Janet began the match. The first one to throw a punch was Katt, as she delivered a jab to her opponent. In response, Janet hit her opponent with a hook, sending it to her abdomen. Before the weasel could throw a jab, she was given an uppercut by the pink cat. The mustelid was unprepared for the next few hits from the feline, as she was unable to stop her. When her opponent was dazed, Katt took her down with a left jab.

Once Janet was down, the Referee came over to her. He began his countdown, waiting for the weasel to respond.

"Ten!" The Referee spoke. "Nine! Eight! Seven! Six! Five!"

Janet got up from the floor, getting in a defensive stance. Walking over to Katt, she threw a left hook at her. The pink cat blocked it and did a cross attack. While it hit Janet in the face, it didn't stop the weasel from recovering and throwing a jab at the feline. The mustelid then proceeded to trade blows with her opponent, eager to take her down. This went on until a bell rang, signaling that round one was over. With that in mind, Katt and Janet went back to their corners.

"And the first round goes to Katt Monroe!" The Announcer spoke. "It would appear that she has improved her skills since the last match! However, she'll need to be on guard for Janet Lee's Quick Cross! If Janet were to bring that move out, her opponent might have trouble!"

In her corner, Katt was getting a drink. As she waited for the next round, she spoke to Mr. Simms.

"You really showed that cheap broad, Katt!" Mr. Simms spoke.

"Yeah, but I'll need to take her down before she can bust out that Quick Cross of hers." Katt said.

"I hope you do, because I've got some guys who are rooting for you to win!" The tabby said.

Once the bell rang, Katt got up from her stool and went over to the Referee. Janet followed suit, cracking her knuckles. The moment they were face-to-face, the two spoke to each other.

"The first round was kinda fun!" Katt spoke. "I was just getting warmed up for this one!"

"Don't get cocky!" Janet spoke. "I was only holding back in the first round, so now I'm going to make mincemeat out of you!"

The Referee blew his whistle, beginning the second round. Katt got in a defensive stance, ready to take whatever was coming her way. Her telepathy could tell her what was about to happen, so she knew she had to listen to it. The pink cat, despite gaining the ability due to stolen blood, was eager to keep it on. With her opponent in her eyesight, the feline was ready to attack. She threw a jab, aiming towards Janet's face.

All of a sudden, Katt felt her punch get stopped. Janet managed to block the attack, using her fist to shove the pink cat's hand aside. Before she could throw another punch, the feline found herself thrown back, colliding with the rope. The attack was so quick, the telepathy she had gained was unable to detect it. Katt got herself together, wiping her face with her arm. To her shock, she got a bloody nose from the attack alone.

That must've been her Quick Cross! Katt thought to herself. I've got to be more careful, or I'll lose!

Janet approached Katt, her hands up. The weasel threw a jab, only for it to get blocked. Katt attempted to do a cross, only to get an uppercut in the abdomen. The pink cat didn't go down from this, deciding to fight through the pain in order to win. However, when she attempted to do a left hook, the feline felt another hit in her abdomen. This time, it was a jab, one that was strong enough to send Katt falling to the floor.

"Ten!" The Referee spoke. "Nine! Eight! Seven! Six! Five! Four! Three!"

Not wanting to give up, Katt got up. Seeing that, Janet proceeded to throw an uppercut at her opponent. However, the pink cat blocked it and did a cross. The feline followed it up with a right hook. She then did a few jabs, eager to bring her opponent down. Janet blocked the first one, but was unprepared for the other ones.

The bell rang, signaling that the round was over. With that in mind, Katt and Janet went back to their corners. As they did that, the two decided to cool off before the final round. While Janet carefully sat down, Katt nearly collapsed. The pink cat was able to pick herself up, but she nearly slumped. She had gotten considerable damage from the Quick Cross, to the point where she felt like she was going to be sick.

"The second round goes to Janet Lee!" The Announcer spoke. "As if by pure chance, she busted out her Quick Cross, the signature move that got her through her previous tournaments! Katt Monroe was unprepared for the attack, as her opponent was fast enough to bring her down! Now, the question remains: Who will fall and who will be the one who is still standing?!"

Before Katt could get herself ready for the final round, she saw Fay and Miyu approaching her.

"Oh, hey guys!" Katt greeted.

"Katt, are you alright?" Fay asked.

"I'm fine, hon, I just couldn't block her Quick Counter!" The pink cat stated.

"And what makes you think you'll do better in the final round?" Miyu asked.

"I've got luck on my side, don't worry." She said.

Standing up, Katt dusted herself off. After that, she went up to the Referee, ready to begin the final round. Janet followed suit, adjusting her gloves. Now that they were face-to-face again, the two spoke to each other.

"Ready to get put on ice?" Janet asked.

"Not quite, but thanks for asking." Katt said.

The Referee blew his whistle, allowing the final round to begin. In order to get an advantage, Katt threw an uppercut at Janet's abdomen. Janet had no time to block it, as her opponent threw it fast enough to cause her stumble back. Before the pink cat could attack again, the weasel threw a right hook. The feline caught the attack and did a cross, hitting the mustelid in the face. Janet found herself coughing up blood from the punch, the pressure causing her to do so.

Katt threw a left hook at Janet, hoping to hit her in the face. However, the weasel caught it, meaning that she was going to execute her Quick Cross attack. Luckily, the pink cat's telepathy warned her of it. While she did take the attack, the feline released a cross of her own. Her opponent was hit in the face, but she didn't go down. Rather, the mustelid stood her ground.

Breaking up their attack, Katt and Janet continued on with the match. Katt threw a right jab at Janet, which hit her in the face. In response, the weasel hit her opponent in the stomach with an uppercut. The pink cat became disoriented from the attack, being unable to fight back. Seeing that, Janet threw a hook, which knocked the feline over. Collapsing to the floor, Katt fell on her face.

"Ten!" The Referee spoke. "Nine! Eight! Seven!"

Katt began to pick herself up from the floor, signaling that she wasn't going to give up.

"Katt, don't get back up!" Lucy shouted from the audience.

"It's not worth being pummeled into the ground!" Bill cried.

Grabbing onto the rope, Katt was able to get up better. However, this didn't go unnoticed by Janet. The Referee stepped out of the way, allowing the weasel to approach her opponent.

"You're going down!" Janet said.

"Not tonight!" Katt shouted, getting into a defensive stance.

Now that she was up, Katt was able to fight Janet again. This time, she held nothing back, delivering punch after punch. Janet tried to block and dodge every attack, but it seemed that her opponent wouldn't let her go. The weasel managed to block an attack, which was a hook from the pink cat. However, before she could use her Quick Cross, the mustelid received a jab from the feline. She even got an uppercut from Katt.

Once Janet was dazed, Katt delivered an uppercut to her face. This was enough to knock down the weasel. The moment she collapsed, the Referee went over to the mustelid, where he began his countdown. Janet didn't respond, even as the Referee reached the end of his countdown. After that, he went over to Katt and raised her arm. From there, the match was over, and the winner was made unanimous.

"Ladies and gentlemen," the Announcer spoke, "the winner of tonight's match is Katt Monroe! Janet Lee did what she could, but the newcomer triumphed over her!"

Back in the audience, Fara, Fay, Miyu and Lucy watched as Katt left the ring, having been announced as the winner. They even saw Janet being escorted out of the ring, her team helping her out.

"Man, that was nuts!" Miyu stated.

"I was honestly worried that Katt would die during the match!" Fay said.

"Well, fighters take risks every time they enter the ring." Fara said. "Katt's only lucky that she had the right amount of skill to take down Janet Lee!"

The audience dwindled, with a majority leaving to go home. However, Fay and Miyu saw Krystal sitting on the bleachers, having a stern look on her face. By her was Fox, who had wrapped his arm around her. Wanting to open up a conversation, Fay nudged Fara's arm, trying to get her attention. When that failed, she got Lucy's attention. The hare followed the spaniel and Miyu over to Krystal and Fox, wanting to speak to them.

"Krystal!" Fay spoke. "Fox!"

Looking over, Fox saw who was trying to get his attention.

"Hey guys!" Fox greeted.

"Hi." Krystal spoke.

The expression on Krystal's face puzzled Fay, Miyu and Lucy. To them, she looked like someone had done something to offend her. Fara also noticed it, as she came over to talk to her friends.

"Is there something wrong, Krystal?" Lucy asked.

"Nothing's wrong, guys." Krystal said.

"Aren't you happy that Katt won the match?" Fay asked.

"I'd be happier if she won in a more honest way." The cobalt vixen said. "Katt wasn't relying on luck during the fight."

"What do you mean by that?" Miyu asked.

"Are you saying that Katt drugged herself up?" Lucy asked.

"No." Krystal said.

"If she didn't drug herself, then why do you say that Katt wasn't relying on luck during the match?" Fara asked.

"Yeah, fill us in!" Miyu said.

"Alright, we'll tell you." Fox said. "But, we'll warn you, you aren't going to be happy when you hear the truth."

Note: Yep, four more people are going to be told the truth. Hopefully, they can keep a secret. If not, then Katt's career might end before it continues (which would probably serve her right). Until next time guys, this is Newcomer24, signing off. Peace!
