The Ambulance crew arrived along with two police cars, who proceeded to secure the area and handcuff Glass, lying him on his stomach on the ground, Aizawa watched over him just as an extra precaution, Kirishima meanwhile was being checked by the ambulance crew. other than a few scrapes and bruises he had gotten away without any serious injuries. Toshiniri meanwhile had jumped into the ambulance that Izuku was in and joined the crew as they rushed Izuku to hospital.

"Who are you" Aizawa coldly stated, to Glass, on the ground he did not seem a dangerous threat with his ragged clothes and badly bruised body and face, on top of his gaunt appearance, but Aizwaw knew that looks could be deceiving and Izukus current condition proved that Glass was a formidable foe.

It doesn't matter..." Glass mumbled only to receive a kick to his side, hitting his liver. While his role as a teacher at UA discouraged such actions as a form of interrogation, it did not mean he was banned from such actions and given that, one of his prized students' lives was on the line, the general guidelines could be warped.

"I'll ask again. Who are you?"

"Damn it..." Glass coughed in pain as he felt as if his liver had been forced to the other side of his body.

"That isn't an answer." Aizawa scowled, preparing his boot to hit the same place again.

"All right, the names Glass." Glass wheezed as he spoke, his body still trying to recover from the liver kick.

"Glass?"

"Yes, you want me to spell it out for you?" Glass stated sarcastically, trying to goad Aizawa even in his condition.

"must be a clue to his quirk." Aizawa thought as Kirishima slowly walked over to him. He had bandages covering his arms legs and head,

"You should be sitting in the ambulance," Aizwaw glared, as if he was preparing his quirk for use, given how badly injured Izuku was he didn't want to risk another student being seriously injured especially under his watch.

"I'm okay, they're surprised I got away with so few injuries...are you trying to get information?" Kirishima stated, only to look down to the ground to see Glass lying there. His face was swollen, and badly bruised from the kick Izuku landed.

"Attempting to... specifically, I'm trying to find out what his quirk is."

You're going to have to ask nicely Eraserhead haha" Glass sarcastically chuckled, showing him a crooked smile, with gaps where teeth were once well rooted now bled

"Well funny enough he thought it would be a great idea to tell us while we were fighting him. his quirk is called Fragility." Kirishima chuckled,

"Fragility? I've never heard of a fragility quirk before." Aizawa grumbled rubbing his chin Trying to remember if he had ever known or faced a similar quirk but nothing came to mind.

"He said that the quirk required him to make skin contact in order to activate it. The longer the contact the more brittle the object became.

"I see, that would explain the severity of Izukus injuries..." Aizawa mumbled rubbing his chin

"Damn it, kid. you ruined that suspense..." Glass grumbled only to receive a swift kick to the ribs from Aizawa.

"Be silent... do you have any idea as to why he targeted you both" Aizawa turned to continue speaking with Kirishima

"I'm not sure. Though he said he was only there for Izuku, he gave me a chance to leave …" Kirishima scratched his head trying to remember

"And you stayed."

"Of course! What kind of hero runs away leaving their friend in danger." Kirishima bellowed crossing his arms like the idol he wished to emulate

"I wouldn't expect anything less," Aizawa stated softly catching Kirishima off with the compliment.

"Thanks, sir." Kirishima smiled.

"So, it seems we have a villain who has some objective to kill Izuku, we know that Izuku has been targeted by the league of villains in the past, so I think it's safe to assume that you must be an acquaintance of Shigaraki, who charged you with the task of killing Izuku. your boss has treated my student's life on more than one occasion and has sent people to kill him and Izuku has managed to stop them and you're the same. A failed attempt...or am I wrong?"" Aizawa laid out his reasoning which brought about a foul scowl upon Glasses face.

"I must say you good at deducing things Eraserhead. But I'm not giving anything away," Glass growled

"Your scowl suggests otherwise. " Aizawa replied as he motioned two police officers over to him. they raised him to his feet and walked him to a police van to be investigated further.

"What are you going to do now?" Kirishima asked.

"I've got to let the class know what happened." Aizawa looked at his mobile phone, taking a mental note of the time.

"I'll come..."

"No. you need to be checked further by the hospital..." Aizawa interrupted Kirishima, looking the boy up and down.

"I'm fine! the already said I had no significant injures." Kirishima fired back, despite how tired he felt, his usual vigour seemed to remain.

"Hmmm, all right. Get everything you need." Aizawa sighed rubbing his eyes

"These kids are going to put me in an early grave...as their teacher, it's my job to make sure they are safe but today shows that even with our precautions we are not enough. Without Kirishima Izuku would be dead, there's no doubt given his current state, I believe it would be best to advise the students to accompany one another when they are outside the school grounds, perhaps Nezu can inform the rest of the school in the event UA is directly targeted?" Aizawa monologed in his head,

Alright!" Kirishima nodded and grabbed his bag, noticed that the ambulance crew had not taken the Izuku's carrier bag which had his notebooks and pens as well as the cake he bought for Uraraka.

I'll make sure she knows." Kirishima mumbled as he lifted the bag and rushed back to Aizawa

"Is that everything?" Aizawa scanned the boy and the environment using his keen eyes to see if anything of note had been left.

"Yes sir." Kirishima nodded

"Alright, also take this., you get a cold if you don't wrap up warmly." Aizawa handed Kirishima his jacket, which he put on. Despite how light it felt it was well insulated and warm.

"He comes off all cold and impersonal but deep down, he cares...the definition of manliness!" Kirishima thought, bring a smile to his face which Aizawa caught in his peripheral, bring a sense of warmth to his heart.

As the pair made their way to the dorms the Ambulance had arrived at the hospital and Izuku was quickly rushed to surgery. Izuku was in a severe condition as he had been haemorrhaging internally so much so that the blood was leaking through the cracks in his skin. his arms and legs were broken, with his shin bones piercing the skin.

Recovery girl had been called and was arrived just before Izuku arrived, and as soon as she saw the boy, she knew she had her work cut out.

"Will he be alright?" Toshinori looked to Recovery girl who was doing all she could to reverse the damage that had been done just enough to allow Izuku to be taken in for surgery.

"I... I don't know Toshi, he's in a terrible state, I've never seen anything this bad before...but ill try my best." Recover girl grimaced. only to give a reassuring smile to her old friend. she had seen many serious injuries in her times, and she had seen many die from wounds less serious than Izukus, but she still had to try no matter what.

"Thank you." Toshinirori sighed, his voice weaker than ever.

Five hours later and after a lengthy surgery, Izuku was placed in an intensive care ward, while the surgery had managed to stabilise his body to allow him to heal but he was still at risk of infection or his own body being too weak to keep on living. Toshinori sat at Izukus bedside, hunched over, his head resting on his hands, with his elbows resting on his thighs, keeping a watchful eye on the boy as he lay there. The beeping of the heart monitor and the raising of his chest showed Toshinori that his Successor, his friend and the closest thing to a son he had was alive but only by a thread.

"Please, One For All, give Izuku the power to get through this. He has so much to do and I cannot go on without him...please keep him alive."
