Scarlett woke up engulfed in Chris' arms, facing away from him. Her first thought was for what they had done over and over again last night. Then she paused as she opened her eyes and expected herself to melt from tremendous guilt. But guilt never came. She had cheated on her fiance and all she felt was satisfaction. And content.

Regret there was none. Nothing. As if she was where she was meant to be.

In truth, she didn't want to overthink it. They did what they did and there was no going back now, and pretending to feel nothing for him would be completely stupid. She did feel something for him or she wouldn't have slept with him over and over again and she knew it. In that very moment, she was vowing to herself to enjoy it while it lasted. They both knew that it was just them inside the apartment, apart from the world and reality.

Once their quarantine would end, they would go back to the way things were. She, with Collin and her daughter. Him, with Rodger and Lily probably.

She allowed no more thoughts about that when she felt Chris stir behind her. He was waking up and she turned around to face him. "Good morning," Scarlett whispered, her morning voice breaking out.

He opened his eyes and looked down at her, his deep blue eyes meeting hers. The happiest smile she had ever seen on his lips appeared. He wrapped his arms around her waist and bent down to kiss her. "Morning, love."

Oh. My. God.

He couldn't believe what had happened. He had finally done it. He had finally confessed his feelings for her and she hadn't turned him down. He didn't know what came over him but something inside pushed him to do it and the worst hadn't happened. Quite the contrary. He knew they still needed to talk about it, because there was so many things to take into consideration. But he knew that nothing could go wrong from now on. He had to enjoy it while it lasted.

One of his hands came up to her face and pushed a strand of hair that had fallen on her face and he stuck it behind her ear. "The new nurse is coming today." He spoke up and watched her tired face react to his reminder. During the night, Robert had texted them saying that they had found a trustworthy nurse and that she was coming today.

"What time?"

"Robert said 10:30, I believe." He told her, stroking her cheeks lovingly. "I think we have some time, don't we?"

Scarlett gave an amused look at his meaning and looked up at the clock on the wall behind him. A gasp escaped her mouth as she shot up the bed. "It's 10! We got to get moving!" She pushed him lightly and got out of bed. Then, she hurriedly gathered the clothes they had taken off of each other last night.

But Chris didn't move a muscle, he watched her with an appreciative expression and a goofy smile. He was openly ogling at her nakedness when she met his eyes and hit his foot to bring him out of his reverie. "Keep it in your pants, Evans."

"A bit too late for that, don't you think?" He teased and got out of bed when she gave him an 'are-you-kidding-me-right-now' type of look. "I'll take a quick shower then I'll help you clean everything up." He walked up to her, equally naked and gave her a suggesting look. "Unless…"

Scarlett rolled her eyes at him, pretending to be annoyed by his antics but the smile playing at her lips told him otherwise. "I'm not showering with you, Chris. Not when someone could catch us." She put a hand on his chest and tiptoed up to kiss him. "That you can get."

"Hm," He smiled and kissed her back. "See you in a minute." He told her with a wink and walked to the bathroom.

Scarlett watched him leave and chuckled to herself. She quickly made the bed while Chris showered. Then, she went to open the windows to get rid of the scent of their lovemaking. Once that was done, she picked her clothes for the day and cleaned up the few things that laid around the kitchen.

Her phone dinged from the living room area, making her stop her cleaning and walk up to it. She grabbed the device from the small table and saw that it was a message from her ex-husband, Romain Dauriac. Actually, what he sent her was a video – of their daughter, she guessed. When the quarantine idea came up, she informed him and together they decided that it was best if Rose stayed with him.

She clicked on the video and her guess had been right. The sight of her daughter immediately made her smile and she impatiently pressed play.

The six-year-old child was sitting on her father's couch, her favorite toy by her side – an Age of Ultron Black Widow action figure. She waved at the camera as Romain said 'Rosie, wanna tell mom what we're doing?'

'Sing!' She enthusiastically said and pointed to the TV. Romain changed the angle of his phone and showed her that they were watching Sing. 'I miss you, momma!' Rose spoke up and her father focused the camera back on her.

'Is there anything else you want to say to mom?' He asked her.

'We ate crepes for breakfast. It was soooo good, and we made them together, too!' The child said. 'Oh, and I love you momma.'

Then the video ended.

"Aw, I love you, too, baby." Scarlett said to herself and her heart panged at how much she missed her child. No matter how long it was, it never was easy being away from her. It felt as though a part of her was taken away every time they were apart.

'Thank you so much for the video. Tell her I love her and that I miss her, too!' She replied to her ex-husband.

Chris had gotten out of the shower and exited the bathroom with a towel tied around his waist. He paused and watched her for a minute. She was with her back to him, still as naked as the day she was born and he had a full view on her back tattoos. He admired them before saying. "If I'm supposed to keep it in my pants, then you should, too."

Scarlett jumped, startled and turned around to look at him. "I didn't hear you come out." She released a breath and put her phone back down. "I was waiting to be showered before getting dressed."

"Any new texts on the group?" He asked and gestured to her phone. "Not that we'd tell them, but I bet Robert is dying to get Chris' Mjolnirs and Stormbreaker. I think he's trying to complete his collection."

"Oh, I don't know. I muted the group chat back in March, all the 3am texts were kind of annoying." She chuckled when he nodded with a 'why-not' face. "Romain sent me a video of Rose, actually. And, uh, we're absolutely NOT saying anything to them. Chris would spill the beans – or any of them, really, would drop hints."

Chris laughed as he walked up to the dresser and took some clothes out from it. "That's true, they would." He agreed and started getting dressed. "How's Rose doing?"

"Good, it seemed. They are watching Sing and she's clinging to that Natasha action figure you got her." She said, a proud mama smile unconsciously forming on her lips.

"Really?" His eyes lit up at what she said. He had gifted Rose the doll for her sixth birthday last august. He had been invited for dinner the day of her birthday along with the other avengers and he thought it would be a funny gift. He had picked the Age of Ultron action figure because it was meaningful. Not that it was reflected on the doll, but Scarlett was pregnant when they filmed the movie.

Scarlett took the clothes she had picked from off the bed and nodded at him. "Yeah, she absolutely loves it. Can't do anything without it. Like, when I'm not around her, I still kind of am. It brings her comfort somehow. That was a very thoughtful gift." She said before disappearing into the bathroom.

Chris couldn't help the big grin from forming on his lips. It hadn't been the woman talking but the mother and it made his heart skip a beat about how grateful she seemed. A part of him was proud that he was somehow able to make such 'a thoughtful gift'.

10 minutes later.

At precisely 10:31, the nurse knocked on the door and called out from behind it. "It's the nurse!" Scarlett had come out of the shower just five minutes before she arrived and both actors were dressed, freshly showered and ready to get tested.

Chris went to open the door and stepped to let her in. "Oh, hello!" The nurse said behind her mask. She had dark brown hair and light blue eyes. She stepped inside the apartment and set her medical case on the dining table. "How you doin'? Got any symptoms yet?" She asked, looking at each one of them.

"No." Chris said while Scarlett said. "Nothing."

"Alright, that's good!" She nodded cheerfully and added. "Sit down while I wash my hands and prep everything." She went over to the kitchen sink and washed her hands thoroughly before getting the few things she would need out of her medical case. "So," She began talking while prepping. "Robert and Shari told me what happened with the other nurse, that's such a bummer."

"To say the least." Chris said, with slight widened eyes as he watched her put on protective gloves.

"What was she expecting to get with samples full of nose goo?" The nurse wondered with mockery. "She even asked a lot of money for it, too. Poor thing."

"We were weirded out, that's for sure." Scarlett spoke up, watching her as well.

"Oh, I bet." The nurse said and turned around to face them. "Okay, get your noses ready, they're about to be filled to the brim." The two lovers shared a look as the nurse walked up to Scarlett first. "Lean your head backwards, sit up straight." She held up the swab near her nose and filled it. "And one, two, three." Then she pulled it out. "Good girl! How you feelin?"

"Scratchy nose." Scarlett said, scrunching up her nose.

"Oh, if it's only that." The nurse shrugged, pulled away the swab, picked a new one and walked up to Chris. "Okay, same thing. Lean back, sit up." She thrust the swab inside one of his nostrils then pulled it out. "Good boy!" She exclaimed as she put away the swab.

"Well, that's it." She removed her gloves and put them along with little plastic bags that contained the swabs in a little trash bag with 'toxic waste' written on it. "We'll see each other in a few days. You should have the results tomorrow morning."

Chris and Scarlett both stood up and thanked her. The nursed nodded and opened the door. As she was making her way out, she knocked into something and bent down to pick it up. "Oh, is this yours?" She turned around and showed the thing she had picked up.

It was a recorder.

Scarlett and Chris shared a confused look. She stepped out and broke into a smile. "Oh, that's mine. I've been looking all over my bags for it, must have fallen down when we arrived. Thank you!" She took the recorder from the nurse's hand and gave her a fake thankful smile.

"See you, then." The nurse said, washed her hands with some disinfectant she found in her pocket and left. Scarlett closed the door behind her and turned around in a hurry.

"Is it me or was she weirder than the first nurse?"

"I think you mean talkative." Chris said.

Scarlett scoffed lightly as she walked up to him. "Oh, please, Chris. You can't say you haven't heard the sexual innuendos."

"Was it sexual innuendos or someone's praising kink?" He asked her with a pointed look and smirked when he saw the light shades of red tinting her cheeks. Teasing her was going to be his new favorite thing. Well, after making out with her. Chris focused his eyes on the recorder in her hands. "So, how did that get there?"

"Someone must have put it there." She said, not believing he was changing subjects just like that. She noticed that the recorder was on recording mode, so she stopped it and found the backward button. She winded back to the beginning of the tape and started listening to it. She gasped when she heard what had been recorded.

It was the events from last night, you could clearly hear Chris confess his feelings to her and her trying to convince herself that nothing could happen between them. Then, everything else that happened.

Chris couldn't believe his ears, he stared at Scarlett with a shocked expression. "Wait, Is that us fuc-"

"Yes!" She interrupted him in a panicked voice and slammed the recorder down. "Some reporter must know we're here. We've got to do something." She shook her head, trying to think of what to do. Then, an idea clicked. "I know, call Robert."

Chris' face turned into a dumbfounded expression at her words. "And what should we tell him? That someone was recording us fucking?" He sighed. Of course, things had to get complicated now.

Scarlett rolled her eyes at him. "Of course not. No one can know." She reminded him and put a hand on his shoulder. "Just say that we found a recorder and ask him to secure the building somehow. And if he asks what's on the recording just say it's us talking about the movie and our upcoming marvel projects. That'll get him moving."

"Yeah, okay." Chris said, feeling the tension leave his body. He kissed the top of Scarlett's head and nodded. "I'll do it now."

Once on the phone, Chris was informed by Robert that the building was barely inhabited. Their apartment was on the last floor and no one currently lived in the apartment next door or even in the ones on the floor below theirs. So it must have been a reporter of some kind. He did ask Chris about the recording and he exactly said what Scarlett told him to. Robert panicked and told him he was going to hire a security company right away. Not one director liked to have his movie spoiled before it even came out. What a terrible way to make entries.
