Chapter 8

Lisa Cuddy got one of the two things she's always wanted, one is a baby, and the other is Greg House. While she's known Greg for a long time, it was surprisingly much easier to get the baby, besides, her sister, Sandie, was dating Greg. Lisa was determined to break the two of them up, she did not want her sister to be with him, he was bad for her. And deep down, Lisa wanted Greg for herself.

A knock on her office door woke Lisa from her thoughts. James walked in, Lisa smiled, she was always glad to see him. The two of them have been hanging out more since he and Sandie broke up. The funny thing though, Sandie was still living with him but spent most of her time with Greg.

"Do you need any help for the party tonight?" he asked her. She shook her head no.

"I think I have it all covered, all you have to do is be there."

Lisa was throwing a party to introduce her new baby to her friends and family. She invited everyone except two people, Greg and Sandie. She didn't need them to ruin her happy moment. All the attention would be on her and her baby and she was excited.

Lisa's house was full of friends and family all admiring her new baby. Things were going so well that she thought nothing would ruin the moment. That is until the doorbell rang and she went to answer it.

Sandie stood on her doorstep, she wore a tan trench coat, black knee high boots and a black beret. Her long, dark hair was covered in snowflakes. She glared at Lisa for a minute before she spoke.

"How dare you not invite me!"

"Sandie, what are you doing here?" Lisa asked, stepping out onto the doorstep and closing the door behind her.

"You invited everyone but Greg and me? How could you be so cold?" Sandie asked.

"I don't need you running my moment. You're nothing but trouble."

"You're moment? Everything's always been your moment. It's always about you. You don't care about anyone but yourself."

"If I didn't care, I wouldn't have bailed you out of jail and given you a second chance. You ruined it yourself by going back to drugs and alcohol."

"How would you know what I do? You never have time for me," Sandie said, sadly.

"James's been keeping me updated," Lisa told her.

"Now you're trying to steal him away from me? You just won't be satisfied until I'm completely miserable, won't you?" Sandie was near tears now.

Before Lisa could respond, the door opened and James walked out.

"Everything okay out here?" he asked. Then he saw Sandie and asked, "What are you doing here? I thought you were going out with Greg and his friends tonight?"

"What friends? Sister dear here made it so I have no friends. You've turned everyone against me, Lisa."

"You've done it to yourself, Sandie. But at least you still have Greg. Now I suggest you leave before I call the cops," She turned and went back inside.

"She's right, you know," James told her, "You've made your path and I know you're back doing drugs and drinking. Every time you come home, you're either high or drunk.

Sandie was upset now, tears fell from her eyes, "How can you betray me? I thought you cared."

"I do care. I always have. I know the last few days have been hard, with losing…." he couldn't finish his sentence. "You need to change." James then turned and went back into the house.

Greg was sitting at his piano playing away and sipping some bourbon when he heard a knock at his door. He got up to answer it, opening it to find Sandie standing there, tears in her eyes. She walked in and over to the coat rack where she took off her coat and hat and slipped off her boots. Greg stared at her, she looked beautiful, her long, dark hair wet with snow and her black, lace dress hugged her curves perfectly.

Without saying a word, he walked over to her and took her in his arms. They kissed long and deep before they separated. Greg looked at her with questioning in his eyes and she answered him,

Lisa's turned everyone against me. I swear she tries to make me miserable on purpose. I didn't want to stay at James's tonight, he's over there with her."

"Stay here," Greg told her.

They kissed again as he unzipped her dress, it fell to the floor leaving her standing there in a black, lace bra and panties. Sandie unbuttoned his shirt then headed for his pants. Soon they were both in their underwear. They kissed each other, making their way to the bedroom where they stripped out of the rest of their clothes. Sandie pushed Greg to the bed and straddled him. She kissed his mouth and worked the kisses down to his now hard penis. He groaned as she took it in her mouth, sucking on it. She continued to do that until he was about to explode then she placed him inside her and rode him hard. Greg couldn't take it any longer, he flipped her over and made love to her. He kissed her neck as she clawed at his back and it wasn't long before they both achieved orgasm. Collapsing in each other's arms, they soon fell asleep.

The next morning, Greg was at work early before Sandie even awoke. He sat at his desk tossing a tennis ball into the air waiting for the others to show up. Just as Greg was enjoying the peace and quiet, Lisa walked into the office and tossed a file onto the desk.

"You got a patient," she told him, "thirty-two year old male, heart attack, having trouble seeing and hearing and now he's hallucinating."

Greg ignored her for a moment before speaking.

"How can you treat Sandie the way you do? She's family for pete's sake."

"She's nothing but trouble. I gave her a chance and she ruined it."

"She was pretty upset last night. How can you be a mother to that baby if you can't even treat your own sister right?"

"My child won't grow up to be an alcoholic crack whore."

"How can you be so sure? It's because of you that Sandie is who she is."

Before Lisa could respond, the door opened and Sandie walked in. She walked over to the coat rack and removed her hat and coat, revealing a very sexy red and white dress with strappy heels. Greg couldn't take his eyes off her.

"How can you wear stuff like that in this weather?" Lisa asked her.

"How can you be such a bitch when you're supposed to be a doctor?" Sandie relied as she sat down in a chair.

"Just get your team together and get to work!" Lisa told Greg as she stormed out the door.

As soon as Lisa left, Sandie got up and walked over to where Greg sat in his chair. She straddled him and kissed him passionately, he kissed her back. Before long they were making out and getting pretty hot. They were so busy that they didn't see the team walk in.

"Ahem," Dr. Eric Foreman cleared his throat to get their attention.

Greg and Sandie broke from each other's arms and looked up to see the team starting at them. Sandie got up without saying a word, walked over to get her hat and coat all the while checking out Dr. Hadley, AKA Thirteen as Greg liked to call her. Greg watched her leave before he tossed the file to Dr. Foreman and told him about the patient.

The rest of the team went into the other office to wait for Greg and Foreman.

"Are you still seeing her? Foreman asked Greg.

"It's none of your business," Greg replied as he got up from his desk.

"You know she's nothing but trouble."

"How would you know? You don't know anything about her."

Foreman just rolled his eyes.

James sat at his desk working on some paperwork when his door opened. He looked up to see Sandie walk in.

"Hi," she said.

"You didn't come home last night," James told her.

"I stayed with Greg," she replied.

"You know, as long as you have him wrapped around your finger, Lisa won't be able to touch you. He loves you, you know."

"I know but I still can't help but feel that she's trying to break us up. She doesn't want me to be happy. I tried to get clean and turn things around with you but I just… I can't do it, James. She won't ever let me be happy."

"She just wants what's best for you."

"No," Sandie interrupted. "She has her child now, she won't waste anymore time on me. It's over and she's won. She couldn't get Greg away from me so she took you instead. You're over there almost everyday playing house and trying to be a father to the baby that you have no time for me anymore."

"That's not true. I love you and I gave you the chance to be with me, multiple times but you made it clear that you would rather be with Greg," James stated. He was getting frustrated with her. She was acting like a child and he wished that her and Lisa would just get along already. "I do care about you, Sandie, and I'm trying to be a good friend but I can't be there for you twenty-four seven. You have Greg, what more do you want?"

Sandie was upset with him, he's never treated her like this before. They've always gotten along ever since she moved in with him. All the times they've spent together before she fell in love with Greg. All the times they've made love, how could he forget? Was she not good enough for him anymore? Well she just had about enough of his games. If he didn't want her around anymore she would just get her things and leave.

"Just forget it, James," Sandie turned and walked out the door.

"Sandie! Wait!" James called after her.

It was too late, she had already gone. Why did he have to be such a jerk towards her? She didn't deserve it but he didn't know what else to do. He had tried everything to keep her with him, even proposing to her. She chose to go back to Greg and she was out partying all the time, getting high or drunk but damn! She was extremely sexy, deep down, he was still in love with her. There were days when he couldn't get her out of his mind. The only reason he would go over to Lisa's was to try and forget about her. Something stirred inside him. Dammit! She was getting to him again. What was this power that she had over him? He wanted to be with her again, to feel her body against his. He wanted to make love to her one last time before Greg completely took her over. Maybe he could convince her to stay or was it too late?

James had gone home that night, the apartment was dark. He switched on the light to find it extremely quiet. He had a feeling it was too late to make amends with Sandie. As he looked around, he noticed that most of her things were gone. She didn't leave a note either. He was scared, scared for her and what she might do. Will she go back to the ghettos? Back to drugs? Stealing and drinking? Back to living on the streets? He had to find her.

Greg's phone rang several times before he answered it.

"Greg, is Sandie over there with you? She isn't here."

James was mumbling like a madman. Greg thought he might go insane.

"Calm down, no she's not here. What did you do this time?"

"She packed her things and left. I've been a jerk and now she's gone."

"Well go find her. Check the bars," Greg told him, then he hung up.

"Hello?" James asked into the receiver. Greg was right. He just had to go and check the bars but which one? He would be out all night but he didn't care as long as he found her.

Sandie sat in the dark, dank bar already on her third drink. The bartender watched her. How can such a beautiful woman look so miserable? What kind of person would do such a thing?

"Can I get another?" Sandie asked the bartender.

"That makes four," he told her as he mixed up her drink. "What are you trying to make go away?"

"Everything," she replied. "My sister hates me and the guy I thought was my best friend is a total jerk."

"That's harsh," the bartender said as he handed her her fourth drink.

Just when James thought he had checked every bar in town, he came across one more. A little one wedged in between two pawnshops. He walked in, waited until his eyes adjusted to the darkness before he spotted her sitting at the bar, several glasses sat in front of her.

"Sandie," James said as he walked up to her.

She turned to face him, "What are you doing here?"

"Looking for you. I was worried about you."

"I can take care of myself. Go home."

"I'm not leaving without you."

The bartender listening to their conversation butted in, "Well he's obviously not the sister, so he must be the jerky best friend."

"Stay out of this," James told him. "Sandie, please come back home. This is no place for you. Where will you go?"

"I'll go back to New York if I have to," Sandie told him. "You had your chance, James. You obviously don't want me around. So just go be with Lisa and her baby. Leave me alone."

"You heard her," the bartender told him, "Leave before I have you thrown out."

James had no choice. He took one last look at Sandie then left the bar. He got in his car and dialed Greg's number. It rang several times before he answered it.

"What now?" Greg asked.

"I found her, she's at a bar and she's been drinking. I can't get her to leave."

"Leave her."

"I can't just leave her!" James exclaimed frantically.

"She's a grown woman, she can do whatever she wants."

Again, Greg hung up.

James decided that he wasn't going to leave without Sandie so he stayed in his car outside the bar until she left. He must've fallen asleep because a knock on his car window startled him. He looked around and checked the time, it was almost two in the morning. Again, Sandie tapped on his window. James got out of the car.

"Are you stalking me?" Sandie asked him.

"No, I just didn't want to leave you here alone."

"Now you want to take control, be a friend? Where were you before when I needed you?"

"I'm sorry, Sandie but I've always been there for you and this is no place for a woman like you."

"What do you know? You know nothing about me! Not anymore. It's over James, go home!"

Sandie turned to leave but James grabbed her arm.

"I won't leave without you."

"If you know what's good for you, you'd let go of me."

"I'm not leaving you!"

He grabbed both her arms and threw her up against the car. Pinning her there, he kissed her hard. She pulled away and slapped his face. He grabbed her arm again, this time tossing her inside the car. He got in and locked the doors.

"What the hell are you doing?" Sandie demanded.

"I told you, I'm not going anywhere without you. If you don't want to come back to the apartment with me then let me take you somewhere else."

"I'm not going anywhere with you."

"Fine, I'll drop you off at Greg's."

James started the car and they drove away.

Greg had fallen asleep on the couch and was awakened by a knocking on his door. He slowly got up, checked the time, quarter to three in the morning, before answering the door. He opened it to find James standing there with Sandie, he had a firm hold on her arm.

"She refused to come home with me, so I figured I'd drop her off here," James told him.

Greg took Sandie by the hand and led her inside, then he closed the door leaving James standing in the hall. Sandie took off her hat and coat and tossed them on the floor along with her bag. She was still wearing the same red and white dress she had on earlier. She smelled like cigarettes and alcohol and her arm had a large bruise on it. It was late and he didn't want to ask her how she got it, he'd confront her in the morning. He didn't say a word as he walked over to her and kissed her. She kissed him back and again they made their way to the bedroom. She undressed, revealing a sexy, red teddy with matching panties. Sandie was drunk and horny, she pushed Greg to the bed and used his tie to tie him to the bed. She worked her magic on him and before long, he was hard as a rock. She was on top of him, riding him hard. He was still tied up and was getting frustrated because he wanted to touch her. She finally untied him, leaving marks on his wrists. He grabbed her and entered her forcefully. She let out a slight scream that turned into moans of pleasure as they made mad love to each other.

Greg's team sat at the table in his office waiting for him to show up. They were studying the file for a new patient and coming up with ideas. Just when Foreman was about to call Greg, he walked into the office.

"You're late," Eric Foreman told him.

"Sorry, I was tied up," Greg responded.

They started to discuss the case when Foreman noticed the marks on Greg's wrists, "I take it you were literally tied up."

"Again, none of your business."

Later that day, Greg decided he would confront James about Sandie's bruises. He walked into his office to find him talking with Lisa.

"What is it Greg? We're busy," Lisa stated.

"I need to talk to James."

Lisa and James looked at each other.

"We will discuss this later," she told James.

She left the office and Greg closed the door behind her.

"Is Sandie okay?" James asked.

"What did you do to her?" he asked back, ignoring his question.

"What do you mean?"

"She had bruises on her arm."

"I, uh," James didn't know how to answer that.

"Leave her alone. Keep your hands off her. She doesn't want to be with you anymore. If I catch you hurting her again…"

He let his sentence trail off, he figured James got the point. With nothing more to say, he left the office.

Sandie finally awoke late in the day. She glanced at the clock, noon! She had slept half the day away. Getting out of bed, she clutched her head, major hangover! She made her way to the bathroom to shower. Afterwards, she straightened the bedroom and cleaned up the living room. It was now getting close to two o'clock and Sandie was getting hungry, maybe she'd get some Chinese food and head to the hospital to have a late lunch with Greg.

As Sandie made her way into the hospital, she passed her sister's office. She thought about stopping in but changed her mind when she remembered how much her sister hated her. Instead, she took the elevator up to Greg's office. She stepped out of the elevator to come face to face with Doctor Foreman. He was another person that she despised, he glared at her and blocked her way to the office.

"Out of the way, Foreman," Sandie told him.

"Why don't you just get lost and leave Greg alone."

"Why is it any of your business?"

"You're trouble and you're messing with him."

"What are you talking about? Greg and I are in love. Why are you so against me anyway? You don't even know me."

"I know enough to know that you are causing trouble between Greg, James and Lisa."

Sandie rolled her eyes, she was getting fed up with people butting into her life. She had enough of Eric. Pushing past him, she made her way to Greg's office. He was sitting at his desk obviously bored with work. She walked in and he looked up.

"Hi, I brought lunch, hope you're hungry."

She sat the bag down on the desk, took off her coat and hat, hanging them up. She was wearing a crop top sweater and tight, low-rise jeans. Greg didn't want lunch, he wanted to go straight to dessert.

The team was out doing research so they had plenty of time to eat before anyone bothered them. They didn't say much while they ate but they both thought the same thing. Sex, they both wanted it, now. They couldn't risk doing it at work though, so they would just have to wait until they got home.

Greg and Sandie made their way down the hall and to the apartment. Greg fumbled for the keys and opened the door. No sooner inside, they went at it like a couple of horny teenagers. Stripping each other out of their clothes, they didn't bother to head to the bedroom this time. Greg pinned Sandie up against the wall kissing her neck, making his way down her chest to her breasts. He sucked on her nipples and she let out a moan, he continued to place kisses down her body until he came to her feminine part. He then led her to the bedroom where this time, he tied her to the bed. He kissed her and again trailed the kisses down her body. Instead of stopping, he sucked on her clit and flicked his tongue in and out of her wet hole. She moaned, arching her back making his tongue drive deeper into her. He continued to tease her until she couldn't take it anymore. She tried to break free of the ties but struggling made things worse. Her wrists were getting bruised and she thought she felt blood trickling down her arm. Greg untied and Sandie immediately attacked him, kissing him and teasing him. Sucking on his throbbing erection until it was wet, she placed it inside her. They made wild love until both achieved an orgasmic high, collapsing with exhaustion.
