Victim

AN This chapter will not have smut I am sorry. It'll have dirty stuff but no smut. Tryin for the feels.

You had one job man, and you couldn't do that properly. Eliot's inner voice spoke to him. It had been a rough week. Where had it all started to go wrong? Oh yeah, that night, when she stepped out of the van dressed like the belle of the ball.

Sophie may have bought the dress but it was obviously made to fit Parker like a glove. When he had gotten a glimpse of her across the patio he just about blew it. He had wanted to leave the rest of the party behind and take her somewhere special and do maybe the nasty.

But fate had other plans. Just as soon as he was lustful over her something switched when he heard over the coms the most erotic but confusingly disgusting sounds.

She was making out with Hardison. And from the sounds of it Hardison was reaping the rewards and enjoying himself He couldn't blame Alec though, if they were to switch places Eliot sure as hell would be.

Now, for all the shade and aggression Eliot had seemed to throw at the hacker he'd never actually hated or resented him in any way. So the sudden furious feelings and sour mood Eliot had towards him caught him off guard.

Jealousy, it was the only emotion and feeling that could sum up the feeling. Granted, he had never ever ever been one to fully be in touch with his feelings and the general populace's nuances of strong feelings other than fury and aggression, but this seemed to be jealousy.

Why couldn't he be the one being pushed up against the wall with her mouth in his sucking, prodding, and exchanging heat? His lust though was cut short by that other more prominent feeling. He wanted to run over there and pull her away from Hardison and do something manly like punch a wall.

When Sophie had returned to him she could feel something radiating off him, he knew that she had a cryptic power to see into people if an emotion was too strong. He tried to pull a joke out of his pocket with his nervous grin hiding the jealousy.

Thankfully, it worked because after asking if it had been her making out with Parker, she scoffed at him and left.

After that the rest of the week just started to go to shit. He should have been on better guard. Keep vigilant and on guard. If he had, she'd never have been kidnapped. She'd never have been a victim.

She was strong and amazing, but he couldn't help but wonder if Sterling had done anything to her. If he'd well, he already had a high enough body count. What was a few more to keep her safe and avenged?

He was also just as much upset with Sophie as Haridson at this point. Had she told them all the truth, he'd maybe be confessing to Parker now how he felt about her. He'd tell her that yeah, as arousing as it was to hear her make out with someone, he'd rather that someone be him.

And that he'd prefer her in his bed every night to keep her safe and well for enjoyment too. But now, that'd never happen. They'd agreed to a six month cooling off period. With the office gone and bounties out for all of them it was the safest course.

But, safest was not the happiest.
